From 12 am on 26 July 2023 (Wednesday), CCP China will resume the 15-day visa-free entry policy for Singaporeans
The consul of the Chinese embassy in Singapore announced the news today (23 July 2023) on the WeChat public account.
The statement pointed out that the CCP regime will resume the 15-day visa-free entry policy for Singapore citizens holding ordinary passports who come to Communist China for business, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, and transiting from 12 am on 26 July 2023, Beijing time.
Singaporeans who have been issued visas to CCP China before, their visas will continue to be valid. Visa applications that have been accepted will be reviewed and issued normally.
Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the reinstatement of the policy in a post on its Facebook page.
The post reads that this will promote personnel and business exchanges between the two countries and pave the way for deepening bilateral cooperation, especially after the Singapore-CCP relationship was upgraded to an all-round, high-quality and future-oriented cooperative partnership during Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's visit to Beijing earlier this year.
