The Burial Grounds of the Tomb of Hairui is a must-visit destination in Haikou.
My first visit to Tomb of Hairui was in 2004. At that time, the statue of Hairui could be seen clearly.
When I revisited the Tomb of Hairui site in May 2019, the site has been under development for years. I could not see the workers renovating the site working there.
Some tourists who visited the site said it has been abandoned for years due to lack of funds from the Hainan Government.
