Since January 2024, Japan has experienced a serious "Man-eating Bacteria" outbreak. As of 2 June 2024, 977 people have been infected, 2.8 times the same period last year. The CDC said that there are no abnormal conditions in Taiwan at present, which is similar to the trend in the past four years and is under continuous monitoring. Regarding the man-eating bacteria, a doctor said that this bacteria is called Group A Streptococcus in Taiwan. If the skin is infected by a wound, it will cause necrotic myofasciitis, which may even lead to death. Therefore, in addition to children and athletes, people with diabetes, stroke, disability, chronic diseases, abnormal nervous system, wounds that cannot be detected, and weak constitutions should pay attention.

Huang Limin, the attending physician of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the National Taiwan University Hospital, was interviewed and pointed out that Group A Streptococcus (man-eating bacteria, flesh-eating bacteria) is transmitted by droplets, mainly infecting the upper respiratory tract, and is prone to children under elementary school age and athletes. If infected with group A streptococci, it will cause symptoms such as purulent tonsillitis and scarlet fever (rash all over the body, sore throat). Scarlet fever can cause heart disease, called rheumatic heart disease, which can easily cause valve damage and lead to heart damage. However, in Taiwan, since most medical institutions can properly handle group A streptococci, the number of children with rheumatic heart disease has decreased, and tonsillitis is still the main cause.

People with chronic diseases and skin wounds are at high risk

Huang Limin said that if the immune system is poor, the bacteria may enter the deeper part of the neck (subcutaneous tissue), causing soft tissue infection, causing the bacteria to run to the soft tissue of the neck, and then cause "deep neck infection"; if the skin surface is injured due to friction, the bacteria will infect the injured skin, and it may also cause necrotic muscle inflammation. The appearance will be like layers of skin and muscle being eaten away, forming a hole, so it is called "flesh-eating bacteria".

Huang Limin further said that in addition to children and athletes, people who need to be aware of skin wounds infected by group A streptococci also need to be aware of people with diabetes, stroke, disability, chronic diseases, neurological abnormalities, wounds that cannot be detected, and people with weak constitutions.

Inadvertent infection can easily lead to multiple organ failure and death

The CDC pointed out that group A streptococci are called purulent streptococci, a beta-hemolytic Gram-positive bacterium, a common bacterium that is usually transmitted through droplets and contact. In addition to infecting the throat, it can also infect the skin, causing pustules and cellulitis. If it penetrates deeper into the fascia, it can cause necrotizing fasciitis, also known as flesh-eating infection or flesh-eating infection; it can also cause streptococcal toxic shock syndrome (STSS), leading to multiple organ failure and shock death.

The CDC said that although type A streptococcal infection is not a legal infectious disease, according to the CDC's Laboratory Automated Reporting System (LARS) monitoring data, from the first to the 22nd week of this year, the number of type A streptococcal detections ranged from 22 to 36 per week, which is similar to the trend in the past four years.

Washing hands frequently and wearing masks are the best ways to prevent STSS

How can we prevent group A streptococci? Former National Taiwan University Hospital infectious disease physician Lin Shibi and thoracic critical care physician Su Yifeng jointly appealed, don't panic! Because type A streptococcal infection is not too uncommon, there is no need to avoid going to Japan. If you are worried, it is recommended that when traveling to Japan, wearing a mask and washing hands frequently are the best ways to prevent it.

Since January this year, Japan has experienced a serious outbreak of "man-eating bacteria" (invasive type A hemolytic streptococci, type A streptococci, type A streptococci, STSS). As of 2 June, 977 people have been infected, setting a record high since statistics began in 1999. Japanese media pointed out that this type of bacteria can be transmitted through droplets and contact, and the mortality rate after infection is 30% to 50%. Doctors also warned that the elderly are the most dangerous group after infection and must take protective measures.

According to comprehensive Japanese media reports, type A streptococci, commonly known as "man-eating bacteria", are currently increasing cases in Japan at the fastest rate in history. According to statistics, there were 941 cases of Streptococcus A last year; however, from January to June 2 this year, in less than half a year, there have been 977 cases of infection, setting a record high since the current survey method was used in 1999. It is estimated that more than 2,000 people will be infected throughout the year.

Patients may suffer from multiple organ failure within 48 hours

The report pointed out that Streptococcus A is a common bacteria, usually transmitted through droplets and contact. Wearing a mask and maintaining frequent hand washing habits can reduce the chance of infection. If unfortunately infected with type A streptococci, patients are likely to experience severe symptoms such as high fever, swollen limbs and sore throat. Not only that, patients may even suffer from multiple organ failure within 48 hours, leading to shock and death, with a mortality rate of 30% to 50%.

With the increasing number of cases of type A streptococci detected in the Kanto region of Japan, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan dare not be careless and has strengthened monitoring. In addition, Professor Ken Kikuchi of Tokyo Women's Medical University in Japan reminded that the group that is prone to type A streptococci infection is the elderly over 65 years old. If a small wound is found on the hands and feet of the elderly, they should go to the hospital for treatment immediately to achieve a preventive effect.

Japanese media warned that an outbreak of "man-eating bacteria" (type A streptococci) has occurred in Japan. This year, more than 977 people have been infected with type A streptococci and suffered from streptococcal toxic shock syndrome (STSS), which is 2.8 times the same period last year. Many people are worried about this, but doctors suggest that as long as you wear a mask and wash your hands frequently, you can prevent streptococci from getting on your body.

Japanese media pointed out that type A streptococci are common bacteria. If infected, they may cause symptoms such as high fever, swelling of the limbs or sore throat, and even multiple organ failure within 48 hours, leading to shock and death, with a mortality rate of 30 to 50%, so it is called man-eating bacteria.

Su Yifeng, a critical care physician in the Department of Thoracic Surgery, said that in fact, type A streptococcal infection is not too rare. It is easy to parasitize the throat, genital mucosa, rectum and skin. The more common ones are pharyngitis and local skin infections, cellulitis. This bacteria is everywhere, so there is no need to panic, and there is no need to avoid going to Japan because of this. Wearing a mask and washing your hands are the best ways to prevent it! treatment to achieve a preventive effect.

China's epidemic continues to spread, and sudden death from myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction is common

Reporters : Xiong Bin and Bo Ni / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2024/06/10/a103888198.html

China's epidemic continues to spread, and people in many places have reported that people often have fevers and colds, and there are more and more patients with myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction. The phenomenon of sudden death among middle-aged and elderly people and young people is also more than usual.

Recently, a netizen posted on Xiaohongshu: "Eight or nine middle-aged men in our family have died of sudden cerebral infarction and myocardial infarction. Isn't the frequency a bit too high?" Another netizen posted on Toutiao: "This year, several middle-aged people in their 50s and 60s in the village have died, basically due to myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction. This situation was rare before."

Mr. Shi from Tai'an City, Shandong Province told New Tang Dynasty that recently, his parents were hospitalized for cerebral infarction one after another. The hospital was full of patients, and some people were sent to the hospital in a deep coma and could not be saved.

Mr. Shi from Tai'an, Shandong: "Every day, the hospital is overcrowded. Some people are getting injections in the corridors. There are more patients than before. There are more and more sudden myocardial infarctions and cerebral infarctions. People in their 50s and 60s, and young people in their 30s, are playing cards and fall to the ground. There are also many tuberculosis patients. Several people who climbed the mountain with me have lower physical fitness than before and are panting."

Mr. Liu, a resident of Yili, Xinjiang, said that people often have fevers and colds in the local area, and the number of sudden deaths around him has increased.

Mr. Liu, a resident of Yili, Xinjiang: "There are many myocardial infarctions and cerebral infarctions. Several young people in their 30s and 40s died. Some went home after drinking and died the next day. They are usually in good health. Some of them farm, some work in offices, and some drive. I have received three to four shots of the vaccine, but my health is not good in all aspects. I catch more colds than before, whether it's hot or cold, my immunity is poor, and I have more cancers."

People in many places also reported that the people who died around them this year included party members, civil servants, and ordinary people. Most of them believed in the CCP's brainwashing. Some police officers who acted as CCP thugs and persecuted the people also died one after another.

Mr. Han, a resident of Jiangxi: "There are many people who died suddenly, in their thirties, forties, and fifties. Some are policemen. They did too many bad things and died of their due. Some died of illness, such as myocarditis or sudden death. Many elderly people died in the second half of last year."

Mr. Zeng, a resident of Zhangzhou: "There are several people in their fifties and sixties around me. They died suddenly of myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction. There are more cerebral thrombosis. Many people have stents and bypass surgery."

At the beginning of the outbreak, Master Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, warned in his article "Reasoning": "The plague itself is arranged by God" and "it is here to eliminate the evil party members and those who walk with the evil CCP." In August 2023, Master Li warned again that the COVID-19 pandemic is mainly aimed at the Communist Party and those who blindly follow the CCP, defend the CCP, and work for the CCP; many people have died so far, including many young people.

Survey: The epidemic affects not only grades but also children's skills

Reporter :Li Xin / Editor : Li Yuyuan / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/24/6/9/n14267243.htmImage : A new survey shows that the loss of teaching during the epidemic has affected the cultivation of students' basic developmental skills. 调查:疫情影响的不只是成绩 还有孩子的技能
A new survey shows that the loss of teaching during the epidemic has affected the cultivation of students' basic developmental skills, including basic skills such as sharing and using scissors.

Most U.S. pre-K to third grade teachers say their students have more trouble listening, getting along with others and using pencils than they did five years ago, according to a survey conducted last week by Education Week's The State of Teaching project.

Ninety-four percent of early childhood teachers said their students are challenged or more challenged to listen and follow instructions, according to the Education Week survey. Eighty-five percent said their children are struggling more to share and collaborate with peers.

When it comes to fine motor skills, 77 percent of educators have found that young students have more trouble handling pencils, pens and scissors, while 69 percent have found that the children in their care have more trouble tying their shoes than they did five years ago.

"It definitely doesn't surprise me," said Khy Sline, curriculum development and education program supervisor at KinderCare Learning Centers, a U.S. company that does childcare and early childhood education. "I think we all anticipated that the impact of the pandemic would extend far beyond the lockdown, not just for young children, but for all children."

She lamented that teachers lost a lot of contact time during the lockdown, staying mostly at home and necessarily not having as much contact with children as they did in the past.

However, Sline suggested that parents can develop certain skills in their children at home, such as fine motor skills.

"I think these skills are also easy to practice at home, just give them some attention," she said.

She suggested involving children in daily activities, such as helping with cooking, letting them open the door with a key, and even buckling their own seat belts.

Sline added that parents need to "consciously set aside time" for children to learn to do things on their own.

Since the pandemic, students' behavioral problems and poor test scores have surged.

At the end of the last school year, a survey by the Education Week Research Center showed that 70% of educators believed that students' misconduct was more than in 2019.

Insider information: Encouraging Xi to seek death! The second generation of reds are brewing a plan...

Image : Yao Cheng, a former lieutenant colonel and staff officer of the Chinese Navy, said that the CCP has already spotted the window period, and the Taiwan Strait will be the most dangerous in the next two years. Data map of the Taiwan National Army strengthening its preparations for war.

Recently, the Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun made a wolf warrior speech at the Shangri-La Dialogue, which aroused the outside world's concerns about the situation in the Taiwan Strait. Yao Cheng, a former lieutenant colonel and staff officer of the Chinese Navy, said that the CCP has already spotted the window period, and the Taiwan Strait will be the most dangerous in the next two years.

On 7 June 2024, Yao Cheng said in the New Tang Dynasty's "Pinnacle View" program that the trend of the danger of war in the Taiwan Strait is getting more and more serious. The Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun said at the Shangri-La Dialogue on 2 June 2024 that "whoever dares to split Taiwan from China will be crushed to pieces." The generals of the National Defense University of the Chinese Communist Party and some other people have also made similar wolf warrior remarks, showing that the fangs of the Chinese Communist Party have been exposed.

Yao Cheng believes that the most likely time for the Chinese Communist Party to attack Taiwan should be from 2025 to 2027, because the Chinese Communist Party will hold the 21st National Congress in 2027, and this year is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party.

In addition, in 2028, Taiwan President Lai Ching-te will run for re-election. Yao Cheng said that the CCP will never allow Lai Ching-te, who holds an anti-communist stance, to be re-elected. This is the situation in China and across the Taiwan Strait.

Yao Cheng pointed out that another very important factor is the United States. There are still two or three places in the world fighting, which has tied down the United States.

He said: "The CCP has seen the window period for attacking Taiwan. If after 2027, the Russian-Ukrainian war is over, the Middle East is fine, and the US government has stabilized, it will be difficult for the CCP to attack Taiwan again."

"The most important thing about war is the fighter plane. Before 2027 is a window period, when the United States is the weakest and most helpless period, so the CCP generally will not wait until after 2027." Yao Cheng believes that "between 2025 and 2027, the possibility of war is very high."

Current affairs commentator and host of "Crossroads of the World" Tang Hao previously analyzed that 2027 may be the most dangerous year in the Taiwan Strait.

He said that 2027 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party, which is symbolic for the CCP; it is also the last year of Xi Jinping's third term. If he wants to continue to fight for re-election, he must show "merit".

The US Department of Defense released a report in November 2022, pointing out that the leader of the Chinese Communist Party, Xi Jinping, asked the Chinese Communist Party's military to prepare for a military attack on Taiwan before 2027. The Biden-Harris administration passed the "National Security Strategy Report" and defined the CCP as "the most comprehensive and serious challenge to US national security."

Yuan Hongbing, a legal scholar living in Australia, believes that a war in the Taiwan Strait is inevitable. He said in the "Pinnacle View" on 30 May 2024 that people within the CCP system have sent a message that Xi Jinping's think tank has a judgment that the 2024 US election, no matter who is elected, is likely to cause a great division in American society like the last US election, which will cause a relatively long period of ideological turmoil in American society, and the CCP regards this period as a window period for launching a war in the Taiwan Strait.

Yuan Hongbing said, "Once such political chaos and ideological conflicts occur in the United States, it is likely to weaken the United States' will and energy to intervene in the Taiwan Strait War. Therefore, Xi Jinping regards the period between 2025 and 2027 as a window period for launching a Taiwan Strait War to conquer Taiwan."

In addition, Yuan Hongbing also revealed that the second generation of the Chinese Communist Party's reds in the Chinese Communist Party's military are brewing plans to encourage the Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping to launch a Taiwan Strait War and encourage him to seek death in order to destroy his personal dictatorship.

Yuan Hongbing said that this dynamic within the Chinese Communist Party system, especially this dynamic among the second generation of the reds in the military, is worthy of attention.
