In recent years, with the gradual increase in the number of domestic pet-raising families, the demand for traveling with pets has been growing. In order to meet the travel needs of pet lovers, Air Travel Hunan Airlines launched the "Pet Travel" product. From April 1, passengers departing from Changsha can take their pets with them on an air journey.
It is understood that each passenger can carry one cat or small dog on board, and each flight can carry a maximum of 2 pets. The hard-sided pet box must not exceed 30 cm (length) x 38 cm (width) x 15 cm (height), and the soft-sided pet box must not exceed 30 cm (length) x 38 cm (width) x 20 cm (height). Small animals within the restricted range can enter the cabin service, that is, in some flight segments, pets that meet the corresponding requirements in size, breed, transportation documents, etc. can enter the cabin with passengers. This service is currently limited to the economy class of Hunan Airlines' domestic direct flights from Changsha.
Passengers must purchase the "Pet Travel" service through Hunan Airlines' online customer service (9:00-17:00) or customer service hotline 400-833-7777 24 hours before the flight takes off. For specific pet transportation rules and applicable routes, please refer to the announcement in the "Passenger Service" column of Hunan Airlines' official website.
