Ethiopian Cargo brings coffee beans to Ezhou for the first time on 24 May 2025
Report, photo copyright by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA
At 10.58 am on 24 May 2025, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 777 freighter from Addis Ababa landed smoothly at Ezhou Huahu International Airport, carrying 66 tons of Ethiopian premium coffee beans. This is the first international "coffee bean flight" at Huahu Airport. This flight customized for coffee bean trade not only witnessed the vigorous vitality of China-Africa cooperation in the new era, but also injected new momentum into building a closer China-Africa community with a shared future.
Ethiopia is located in northeast Africa. It is a member of the BRICS and an important participant in the "Belt and Road" initiative in Africa. It is the birthplace of coffee beans. Its capital, Addis Ababa, is the seat of the African Union. Coffee is Ethiopia's most important export cash crop and the main source of foreign exchange income for Ethiopia. At present, about 25% of the Ethiopian population relies directly or indirectly on coffee production for their livelihood.
As the world's fourth and Asia's first professional cargo hub airport, Huahu Airport has become an important platform for high-quality African products to enter the Chinese market with its cargo route network advantage of "reaching the whole country overnight and connecting the world the next day". After the Ethiopian boutique coffee beans landed, relying on the efficient distribution system of Huahu Airport, they can reach consumers across the country the next day. Previously, it took 25 to 30 days to reach China by traditional sea transportation. This not only opens up a broader Chinese market for high-quality African products, but also allows Chinese consumers to taste the exotic fragrance.
Ethiopian Airlines is the largest airline in Africa and the first African airline to settle in Huahu Airport. Since the opening of the "Ezhou-Addis Ababa, Ethiopia" route on 6 February 2024, it has accumulated 248 flights and transported more than 12,000 tons of cargo. This route is like a large air channel, transporting Chinese electronic products, mechanical equipment and other industrial products to Africa, and continuously introducing high-quality African products such as coffee beans and nuts into the Chinese market, vigorously promoting the growth of African countries' trade with China and boosting local economic development.
Huahu Airport will deepen cooperation with Ethiopian Airlines, jointly build an African overseas cargo terminal in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, and carefully build a dual circulation system of "Chinese commodity exports = African high-quality commodity imports". After the cargo terminal is put into use, Chinese cross-border e-commerce goods can be distributed in Africa in advance, and the delivery cycle will be shortened by 30%. At the same time, high value-added products such as African fresh cut flowers and lobsters can also be directly supplied to the Chinese market through Huahu Airport.
Xinhua: Techo Airport officially opens on 9 September 2025

Techo International Airport : China funded mega project in Cambodia nears completion amid concerns
Techo International Airport, a massive Chinese funded infrastructure project under the Belt and Road Initiative, is slated to begin operations on September 9, 2025, according to China's state run Xinhua News Agency.
The airport, located in Kandal province, approximately 20 kilometers from Phnom Penh, is being constructed at a total cost of $1.5 billion. China will manage and operate the facility for 50 years to recoup its investment before transferring control to the Cambodian government.
Currently, 66% of the construction has been completed on the 2,600-hectare site, with 3,500 engineers working on the project. Once completed, the Techo International Airport will be classified as a 4F airport, capable of accommodating large aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and Airbus A380. The runway will span at least 3,000 meters, allowing aircraft to land and take off at speeds between 224 km/h and 261 km/h. China currently has only nine 4F airports, and Techo will join a select group of international counterparts including Changi (Singapore), Hamad (Doha, Qatar), Haneda (Tokyo, Japan), and now, Techo (Cambodia).
According to Civil Aviation officials, the new airport is expected to handle 13 million passengers annually by 2025, 30 million by 2030, and 50 million by 2050.
However, ongoing issues in Cambodia could deter potential tourists. Notably, during a religious ceremony at the Angkor Wat temple complex on May 16, a lightning strike killed and injured over 10 people. In response, Tourism Minister Thong Khon reportedly banned locals from sharing images of the tragedy on Facebook and YouTube, fearing it could negatively affect tourism. Critics argue that instead of silencing the public, officials should implement proper safety measures such as restricting access to high points during storms especially since Angkor Wat lacks modern lightning protection systems.
Meanwhile, Cambodia continues to grapple with human trafficking and cyber scam operations. In cooperation with ASEAN partners like Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, the government is actively working to combat human smuggling operations that lure foreign nationals into forced labor in online fraud schemes, particularly in Sihanoukville.
Authorities have identified victims from Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Thailand, and Indonesia being detained and forced to carry out phone scams targeting their families. The Global Anti-Scam Organization recently published evidence in early May revealing the involvement of individuals connected to Cambodian police uniforms and insignia. Victims alleged that police officers were complicit in the operations and were bribed to turn a blind eye or even help move victims between locations.
In a meeting with an Indonesian delegation on May 20, Chu Bun Eng, Vice Chair of Cambodia’s National Committee for Counter-Trafficking, acknowledged the existence of such criminal activities within Cambodia. She emphasized, however, that authorities are not ignoring the issue. Nevertheless, questions remain about the possible collusion between law enforcement officials and criminal syndicates, and whether profits from these crimes are being shared among corrupt officials.

Vietnam Airlines calls for lifting of price cap on domestic air tickets
Report, photo copyright by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA
Vietnam Airlines recently submitted comments on the Vietnam Civil Aviation Law (Draft Amendment), calling for the removal of the airfare cap on domestic routes in Vietnam and suggesting that national airlines be given priority in obtaining take-off and landing slots, according to Vietnam News Agency.
In its latest feedback, Vietnam Airlines said that removing the fare cap would give airlines greater autonomy and flexibility, allowing them to better respond to market changes. Since the covid outbreak, the company has made suggestions on this issue many times, and the voice has become increasingly strong. Before the revision of the law was completed, Vietnam Airlines had suggested temporarily raising the current fare cap, believing that this was a transitional solution that would allow airlines to make price adjustments more effectively on domestic routes.
The Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, which is responsible for drafting the Vietnam Civil Aviation Law, said that domestic passenger air transportation is still considered a basic service and should be included in the scope of national pricing management in accordance with relevant legal provisions. Although Vietnam currently has six airlines operating domestic routes, Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air together account for the vast majority of the market share. The Ministry of Construction believes that under this market structure, both price caps and floors must be implemented to prevent the abuse of market dominance.
In addition to the adjustment of fare policy, Vietnam Airlines also hopes to receive preferential treatment in airport time allocation. The company suggested that the revised law should give "national airlines priority in allocating flight slots".
In response, the Ministry of Construction said that it would consider the suggestion during the drafting process and refer to international practices and Vietnam's actual conditions. Any special policies for national airlines in allocating flight slots must be clearly stipulated in the implementation rules of the law. The Ministry of Construction also emphasized that future flight slot allocation policies should aim to improve airport resource utilization and avoid resource waste, especially in the context of Vietnam's plans to expand airport infrastructure.
Federal judge bars government from revoking international students' legal status

A federal judge in California has issued a nationwide order on Thursday (22 May 2025) prohibiting the Trump administration from revoking the legal status of foreign students studying and working in the United States.
U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White of the Northern District of California issued a nationwide injunction on Thursday that prohibits the Trump administration from revoking the legal status of international students in the United States without conducting an individual review and complying with federal procedures.
According to court documents, earlier this year, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cross-checked the data of approximately 1.3 million student visa holders across the United States with criminal databases under a program called the Student Criminal Alien Initiative, identifying 6,400 people with a history of contact with police. The list was then handed over to the State Department, which decided whether to revoke their visas.
Once a visa is revoked, ICE will delete their record in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), which is equivalent to terminating their legal status in the United States and may lead to their detention or deportation.
The court pointed out that although some students had contact with the police, most had not been charged or convicted, and the reasons noted in SEVIS were mostly "failure to maintain status" or "other", indicating that the processing procedures may be too brief.
Judge White believed that the government's actions lacked sufficient basis and transparent procedures, and may violate the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and constitutional due process protections. He pointed out that many students lost their legal status without prior notice, and that this "termination first, remediation later" approach was not in line with the rule of law.
Although the government later restored some SEVIS records, the court said that the database still retains the records that had been cancelled, which may affect students' future visa applications and status changes. In order to maintain stability, the court has a responsibility to intervene.
The court order includes:
Prohibits the government from detaining, deporting, or imposing any adverse legal consequences on students based on SEVIS termination records;
Prohibits the government from revoking restored SEVIS records without court approval;
This ban applies to all affected students. The court stressed that the ruling did not deny the government's oversight of the immigration system.
Judge White's ruling in this case does not involve school institutions. On the same day, the Trump administration notified Harvard University that it would revoke its eligibility to participate in the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP), a move that could result in the school no longer being able to recruit international students.

The thrilling inside story of the White House under Biden administration

Explosion! The thrilling inside story of the White House. Who controls the president's signature pen and signs the order?
Editor: Fang Xun / Source : X Platform / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0522/2222594.html

James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said in a Fox interview that former Biden employees who used automatic signature pens had been found. These staff members not only signed pardons, but also signed a series of executive orders. Comer said that they would be invited to record interviews, and if they refused, the House would subpoena them for full evidence collection.
So, who controls Biden's signature pen and dares to sign pardons and executive orders on behalf of the president? The undercover video released by James O'Keefe previously revealed the truth. In the video, the plainclothes beauty undercover confided the inside story to Tyler Robinson, special adviser to the Biden administration. He said that Biden was no different from a vegetable for four years. In addition to Biden, Chief of Staff Jeff Zients is the most powerful person in the White House. In addition, there are 5-6 people who have worked for Biden for 30 years, including Ron Klain, Steve Ricchetti, Anita Dunn, Gene Sperling, and Biden's sister Valerie Biden Owens. In addition, former Obama and Hillary employees also served as advisers to Biden's White House, and they controlled Biden through these people. Tyler said Hillary's informant was Neera Tanden.
Well, the excellent investigator O'Keefe has done a good job investigating for the House of Representatives. House Republicans, should they enforce the American law that "no one is above the law"? If the DC judges are still rogues and find these people not guilty, President Trump should initiate a military tribunal. The traitors have all the evidence, and must be severely punished according to the law.
Xi Jinping's daughter received Harvard scholarship, Harvard trains Chinese Communist officials

Digging it out? Intelligence reveals Xi Mingze
—Intelligence revealed: Xi Mingze received a full scholarship at Harvard
Editor: Fang Xun / Source: Cai Shenkun / X / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0522/2222584.html / Image : The following is a picture of Cai Shenkun's post

On 20 May 2025, independent commentator Cai Shenkun posted on his social media platform that the U.S. "Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard" released a revelation that Xi Mingze, the daughter of Chinese President Xi Jinping, had received a "full scholarship" at Harvard University. He questioned whether it was because of her excellent grades or to please the communist regime. Harvard University is known as the world's top university, but its value orientation is to embrace and flatter authoritarian totalitarianism. The news quickly sparked online controversy.
After investigation, it was found that the source of the revelation came from a social media account signed by Tulsi Gabbard, which was actually a parody account, not Gabbard herself. However, this incident still caused a huge response from public opinion, pointing directly to the privileged path of the red elite in the United States and the moral decline of Western prestigious schools.
Netizens pointed out that Ivy League schools have long become a place for money and power, and the children of the rich and powerful rely on their family background to "make money";
Some people even said bluntly: "As long as you can donate money, it is not difficult to get into Harvard."
Some netizens quoted the Gospel of Matthew to satirize Harvard's values: "For whoever has, to him shall be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away."
Some people pointed out: "The woman in the photo is not Xi Mingze, but Meng Xue, the anchor of Fujian Southeast TV, who is from Northeast China. Many people are confused." Some netizens also said: "That is Meng Xue, the TV station mistress of Xi Jinping when he was in Fuzhou."
Some netizens even mocked the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party for "not even daring to acknowledge their daughters": "They are so low that they dare not even bring their own daughters out to meet people. Kim Jong-un is better than Gui Zhi."

As for the authenticity of the photo, aboluowang, com Wang Duran further added that "The girl in the photo is not Xi Mingze. No one can confirm Xi Mingze's appearance. The most likely version is the ID card photo published by 'Evil Wiki'. If the ID card is not real, those people in Evil Wiki would not have been persecuted so harshly, especially Niu Tengyu, who was sentenced to 14 years."
Wang Duran also pointed out: "Harvard University is called the 'Overseas Party School of the Chinese Communist Party' because it has a large number of children of senior Chinese Communist Party officials and even has training courses for senior Chinese Communist Party officials. It is not surprising that Xi Mingze can get a full scholarship at Harvard. Harvard has extremely close ties with the Chinese Communist Party of China and even the Chinese Communist Party's military."
Although the source of the news is not an official account and the truth of the incident has not yet been determined, this revelation has focused on several key contradictions:
Do the children of Chinese Communist Party dignitaries use their privileges to get into prestigious American universities?
Has Harvard long since degenerated into a "tool for regime bribery"?
The public's extreme tolerance for educational fairness and institutional justice
Under the impact of "Harvard's loss of integrity", "CCP whitewashing", and "Red Princelings' overseas reshuffle", public opinion continues to boil. This matter is becoming another focal battlefield for the legitimacy of the CCP's internal and external rule and the credibility of Western academia.
China Postal Airlines launches flight to Narita from Hangzhou on 22 May 2025
Report, photo copyright by : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA
At 10.39 am on 22 May 2025, a B737F aircraft with EMS painted on its vertical tail took off from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, fully loaded with cross-border e-commerce products, and successfully arrived at Tokyo Narita International Airport at 1.32 pm, marking the official launch of China Postal Airlines' "Hangzhou=Narita" international cargo route. The route operates three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Hangzhou, located in the southern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, is the extension intersection of the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road". In recent years, this city, which has nurtured a thousand-year business vein relying on the Grand Canal and Qiantang River, has shaped the global trade pattern with the "Digital Silk Road" as a link. Last year, the import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce exceeded 200 billion yuan. The opening of China Postal Airlines' "Hangzhou=Narita" international cargo route is closely linked to the pulse of local economic development, providing high-quality aviation capacity support to help build its global e-commerce hub.
The China-Japan route is known as the golden route in the international cargo market. China Postal Airlines has previously operated 13 routes to Japan. The launch of the "Hangzhou = Narita" route is also an important measure for China Postal Airlines to further enhance its service capabilities for e-commerce companies, while continuing to increase the construction of the global logistics supply chain system and improve its international freight logistics network layout to Japan.
It is also reported that the "Hangzhou = Narita" route is the fifth international freight route opened by China Postal Airlines this year after "Quanzhou = Clark", "Guangzhou = Clark", "Guangzhou = Dhaka" and "Yancheng = Kansai". So far, China Postal Airlines' international routes have increased to 28, of which 4 are operating in Zhejiang Province, namely "Yiwu = Kansai", "Yiwu = Manila", "Yiwu = Clark" and "Hangzhou = Narita", contributing to the high-quality development of Zhejiang's foreign trade economy.

Will Xi Jinping's fate be decided? It is said that the Fourth Plenary Session will be held

Since last year, various anomalies have appeared in the officialdom of the CPC, especially the bad news about the party leader Xi Jinping has never stopped. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has not been held yet, highlighting the escalation of the internal struggle at the top. At present, there are reports that the Fourth Plenary Session will be held in Beijing by the end of August.
On 22 May 2025, independent commentator Cai Shenkun revealed in his self-media program that he had received news that the Fourth Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee will be held in Beijing from 27 to 30 August 2025. The meeting can be decided, and he speculates that various forces within the party have basically reached a consensus.
Cai Shenkun said that whether there will be major personnel adjustments at that time, and whether Xi Jinping will delegate power and hand over power, the outside world will pay attention to it. The future political and economic direction of China will be known in three months. Regarding the different opinions overseas about who will be promoted and who will be demoted, there is no definite news so far.
Cai Shenkun believes that at least at the level of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China, He Weidong, Miao Hua and a large number of central committee members of the military may make a clear announcement at this meeting. The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee is probably a major personnel reorganization of the party, government and military system. Various signs indicate that Xi Jinping has to make compromises under pressure from all sides.
Cai Shenkun also revealed that the military purge is still continuing. The latest news is that another group of important generals have been arrested, including General Huang Ming, commander of the Northern Theater Command, Lieutenant General Cao Qingfeng, deputy staff of the Joint Staff Department of the Military Commission, Lieutenant General Yang Cheng, political commissar of the Xinjiang Military Region, and Lieutenant General Fang Yongxiang, former assistant director of the Political Department of the Military Commission and director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission.
The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which was originally scheduled to be held in the fall of 2024, has not yet been held. According to internal sources, Xi Jinping has long lost power, and the power of the Communist Party of China has returned to Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of the Military Commission, and the veterans.
After Xi's army came to power at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a complex state of power struggle soon emerged within the army. During this period, Defense Minister Li Shangfu and Wei Fenghe stepped down one after another. In November last year, Miao Hua, member of the Central Military Commission and director of the Political Work Department of the Military Commission, stepped down; after this year's two sessions, He Weidong, vice chairman of the Military Commission, has been missing ever since.
In addition, Xi's chief secretary, director of the General Office of the Central Military Commission and director of the Office of the Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Zhong Shaojun, and Xi's right-hand man in the army, full-time deputy secretary of the Military Discipline Committee, Chen Guoqiang, were all transferred; the commanders of the three major war zones in the north, central and south were replaced.
Some observers believe that Zhang Youxia, with the support of the veterans of the Communist Party of China, manipulated the purge of Xi's forces.
On 6 May 2025, independent commentator Cai Shenkun broke the news on his own media that there will be major changes at the Fourth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China. Faced with the current international situation and domestic economy, coupled with Xi's illness, the CCP elders have been unable to bear it any longer and are collectively forcing Xi Jinping to abdicate. They may give Xi some dignity so that he can withdraw from the CCP's political stage intact. Once the new leader comes to power, there will be new practices.
On 20 May 2025, former CCP Navy Lieutenant Colonel Yao Cheng posted on the overseas X platform, "I learned from a chat with a friend that the CPC Central Committee held an enlarged Politburo meeting in Beijing on 14 May 2025. All the members of the Politburo, elders and a large number of veteran cadres who could attend the meeting attended the meeting. The focus of the meeting was whether Xi Jinping should retire fully or partially but I learned from my acquaintances that no consensus was reached at this meeting, and a vote is still needed at the Fourth Plenary Session of the Central Committee but the date of the Fourth Plenary Session has been basically determined, which is August."
Retired U.S. Air Force General Blaine Holt previously wrote in Newsweek that the CCP is on the verge of collapse and Xi Jinping may become its last ruler.

Xi Jinping emphasized three "decisions" and it is obvious that Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao are in control

Are Hu and Wen in control? The front page of People's Daily sends a clear signal
Report by : Mei Linshuang/ Editor : Fang Xun / Source : People's Daily https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0522/2222427.html
As for who is actually behind the scenes in Zhongnanhai, although the CCP has released more and more signals that the party leader has lost military power and the party power has been weakened, many people who do not understand the internal operation of the CCP still have doubts because its public activities are still dominating the screen.
On 20 May 2025, the front page of the CCP official media People's Daily released another very obvious signal.
The CCP will begin to implement the "15th Five-Year Plan" in 2026 and is currently drafting planning proposals.
The official media reported that day that Xi Jinping recently made important instructions on the preparation of the "15th Five-Year Plan", emphasizing that "we must adhere to scientific decision-making, democratic decision-making, and decision-making in accordance with the law, unify top-level design and consult the people... and complete the planning work with high quality.
"The headline of the news is "Adhere to scientific decision-making, democratic decision-making, and legal decision-making to complete the preparation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" with high quality."
If you compare it with the news published by the official media in August 2020, "Xi Jinping made important instructions on the preparation of the "14th Five-Year Plan", you will find something unusual.
At that time, Xi Jinping did not mention the three "decisions" at all, but emphasized "to seek advice from all quarters, to unify strengthening top-level design and insisting on seeking advice from the people...".
Why didn't he mention it five years ago, but mentioned the three "decisions" five years later? In fact, "scientific decision-making, democratic decision-making, and legal decision-making" are the products of the Hu-Wen period, and Hu and Wen mentioned them many times during their two terms.
In 2003, the working rules of the State Council under Wen Jiabao proposed the three principles of "implementing scientific and democratic decision-making, adhering to administration according to law, and strengthening administrative supervision", which were written into the "Outline for Comprehensively Promoting Administration According to Law" in 2004.
In April 2005, Hu Jintao proposed in the Military Commission that "the system of democratic decision-making, scientific decision-making and legal decision-making should be improved and perfected".
In March 2006, Hu Jintao mentioned the three "decisions" again when inspecting a certain air force unit.
In addition, Hu Jintao clearly mentioned the three "decisions" in the report of the 17th CPC National Congress in 2007, at the summary meeting of the Party's in-depth study and practice of the Scientific Outlook on Development in 2010, and in the report of the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012.
In August 2010, Wen Jiabao also mentioned the three "decisions" in his speech at the National Conference on Administration According to Law.
This can also explain why the three "decisions" were rarely mentioned during Xi's term, especially after the 19th CPC National Congress, when power reached its peak and emphasized "one supreme leader".
Such changes actually appeared after the rumor of Xi's stroke at the Third Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee in July last year.
On 10 August 2024, the CPC Military Daily and Military Network published an article in the News Column titled "Adhere to Scientific Decision-making, Democratic Decision-making and Legal Decision-making".
The article stated that recently, the "Democratic Centralism Reader" organized and edited by the Political Work Department of the CPC Central Military Commission was issued to the entire army.
"Adhering to scientific, democratic and legal decision-making and constantly improving the quality of decision-making are important practical issues that must be solved by party organizations at all levels to implement democratic centralism and learn and use the "Reader" well.
"The article is saying that the military should no longer make decisions based on "snap shots" or "one-size-fits-all" decisions, oppose arbitrary personal instructions, and oppose "one-man rule". The military should adhere to scientific and democratic decision-making and legal decision-making in the future.
All these statements are contrary to the previous practices of the CCP leader.
At the 20th National Congress, the CCP leader publicly pushed Hu Jintao out of the venue and tried to concentrate all kinds of power in one person to point out the direction for various fields and various issues. The party is basically a "one-man rule" and other standing committee members are basically decorations. The military took the lead in mentioning the "decision-making" advocated by Hu Jintao and the "democratic centralism" that was missing for several years. It is obviously unusual.
If this is not a big deal, what is it? If Xi is still in power, will he issue such an order? Let's look at the two obvious signals released not long ago that Hu and Wen are in control: First, before and on the May 4th Youth Day set by the CCP, the official media started a rare pattern in recent years: high-level praise and encouragement of young people.
Even the 9th issue of the magazine "Qiushi" published on 30 April 2025, an official publication of the CPC Central Committee, published five articles related to youth. The authors ranged from the General Secretary of the CPC, the Central Committee to the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Central Youth League School and young students. Such an arrangement is rarely seen in the past five years.
This undoubtedly implies that the power of the "League faction" that was once in decline in the CCP political arena is returning.
Second, on 15 May 2025, the May 4th Youth Exchange Conference of the CPC Central Committee and state organs was held in Beijing, which is also rare in the past few years.
This should be the handwriting of Hu and Wen.
In February this year, Cai Shenkun, an independent overseas commentator, revealed on the X social platform and YouTube self-media that his friends told him: Xi Jinping no longer has any real power, and the power of the Communist Party of China has been elected by three old men born in 1942 to transition; second, the military power is in the hands of Zhang Youxia, and Xi's chairmanship of the Military Commission is just a title, "Xi Jinping's abdication is just waiting for official announcement, most likely at the Fourth Plenary Session of the Central Committee, not later than next year."
Later, Cai Shenkun pointed out that these three old men are Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao and Hu Deping.
From the very obvious signals released in the past month, they all confirm that Hu and Wen are in control, otherwise the activities advocated by Hu and Wen during the period and the activities of the Youth League would not be so high-profile.

Recently, there have been rumours that Xi Jinping will hand over power at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and his military power may be completely lost. Commentator Gu Cheng pointed out that 22 of the 79 generals promoted by Xi Jinping were dismissed, Miao Hua was dismissed, and He Weidong disappeared, indicating that his influence in the military collapsed. On 15 May 2025, the Ministry of National Defense of the Communist Party of China announced the establishment of three new military academies: Army Arms University, Information Support Force Engineering University, and Joint Logistics Support Force Engineering University, which will recruit high school graduates. The new spokesman Jiang Bin called this a "decision of the Central Military Commission" and did not mention Xi Jinping or "Strong Army Thought". Party media reports also avoided talking about Xi, highlighting the signal of his loss of power.

Three new military academies and power changes
The Ministry of National Defense of the Communist Party of China announced on 15 May 2025 that the Central Military Commission decided to establish the People's Liberation Army Army Arms University, Information Support Force Engineering University, and Joint Logistics Support Force Engineering University, and recruit students starting this year. Jiang Bin said that this move implemented the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee and adapted to the adjustment of the military structure. He did not mention Xi Jinping or "Strong Army Thought". Xinhua News Agency and other media reports also avoided these words. This unusual silence was interpreted as a signal that Xi Jinping's military power was falling.
The enrollment and construction of military schools reflect the CCP's military strategy and power distribution. In the 2017 military reform, Xi Jinping adjusted the military schools to four levels: Deputy Theater Level (such as the National Defense University), Full Army Level (such as the National University of Defense Technology), Deputy Army Level (such as various command academies), and Full Division Level (such as the non-commissioned officer school). The three newly established schools may be deputy army level/full army level, respectively affiliated to the Army, the Central Military Commission's direct information support force and the Joint Logistics Support Force, showing the military's strategic focus and power adjustment.

Xi Jinping's loss of power signal is obvious
In 2017, Xi Jinping presented flags to military academies and other schools in a high-profile manner. In 2020, he issued the "Military School Education Regulations" and emphasized the "Strong Army Thought". In April 2024, he presented the flag to the information support force, emphasizing loyalty, but with anxiety on his face. However, after the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, military reports avoided mentioning Xi Jinping, showing that his influence has dropped sharply. Zhang Youxia joined forces with anti-Xi veterans and princelings to purge Xi's cronies. Trump's coming to power intensified the US-China confrontation. Anti-Xi sentiment within the party was high. The power struggle spread from the military to the political arena. Li Ganjie, Minister of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, lost power, and the Hu-Wen reformists rose.

Zhang Youxia has changed layout of the Chinese Communist military
The establishment of three new military academies is closely related to Zhang Youxia's expansion of power. The Army Arms University was merged from the Army Armored Forces Academy and the Artillery and Air Defense Forces Academy. It was located in Hefei and belongs to Zhang Youxia's sphere of influence to strengthen the training of army talents. The Information Support Force Engineering University is based on the Information and Communications Academy of the National University of Defense Technology and the Communications NCO School of the Army Engineering University. It is located in Changsha, showing that the army is infiltrating the information support force. The Joint Logistics Support Force Engineering University was merged from the Army Service Academy and the Military Transportation Academy. It is stationed in Chongqing and spans multiple theaters to train logistics talents. These layouts show that Zhang Youxia consolidated the army's base and expanded to other arms to intervene in joint operations.

Wu Qian as spokesperson has been replaced, suggesting the progress of de-Xiization
On 15 May 2025, Wu Qian, spokesman for the Ministry of National Defense, stepped down and Jiang Bin took office. Wu Qian has served as a spokesperson for ten years. He is known for his wolf warrior style. He once warned the Democratic Progressive Party of Taiwan to "self-destruct" and was accused of exposing Xi Jinping's ambition to unify the country by force. His vague response to the He Weidong incident has intensified speculation that Xi Jinping has lost power. Wu Qian's exit reflects the military's efforts to reshape its external image, downplay the wolf warriors, and avoid public opinion storms, showing changes in the top-level design of the military.

Shocking! General He Hongjun committed suicide
Reporter : Sun Ruihou / Editor: Wang He / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0519/2221093.html / Image : Web Screenshot
As the Chinese Communist Party’s military continues to be purged, a shocking news came out: Another general died.
On 19 May 2025, Beijing time, well-known commentator Cai Shenkun posted on the X platform that news from Beijing confirmed that He Hongjun, the executive deputy director of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, who was awarded the rank of general by Xi Jinping in person on 9 July 2024 in the Bayi Building and presided over the daily work of the Central Military Commission, chose to commit suicide during detention. He was sent to the 301 Hospital for rescue but died yesterday afternoon (18 May 2025).
Cai Shenkun lamented that the fierce political struggle in the army has added another victim of a senior general born in the 1960s. He Hongjun was in great glory last year, and he never expected that he would eventually follow the footsteps of Zhang Yang, the former director of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, and also end his life by hanging himself.
Looking back at Zhang Yang’s death, the military newspaper once published an article saying that he “committed suicide out of fear of crime” and criticized him for “evading party discipline and national law punishment, and his behavior was extremely bad.” As for He Hongjun, Cai Shenkun questioned how the military newspaper would characterize him.
In this regard, netizen ZhaoMingObserve speculated that the military newspaper would characterize it as follows: "He Hongjun cut himself off from the party and the people, resisted organizational review, and deserved to die. The military will launch a campaign to 'purge the remaining poison of Miao Hua, He Weidong, and He Hongjun.'"
Netizen Sosuperman_1 sarcastically said that almost no one of the countless Communists imprisoned by the Kuomintang committed suicide; netizen Fuxingshe questioned whether such a psychological quality could go to the battlefield? Netizen michaelchiu777 said that this incident was shocking and called for the truth to be found out as soon as possible, otherwise the whole society would only be trapped in various speculations.
Netizen Prince Edward quoted the ancient saying "officials force the people to rebel", and ridiculed that it has now become "officials force officials to rebel". China is harmonious on the surface, but in fact it is undercurrent and full of crises.

Shocking news: Taiwanese artist Ouyang Nana is "banned from entering Taiwan for life"
Editor : Fang Xun / Source : Lianhe Zaobao / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0519/2221095.html / Image : Web Screenshot

A video circulating online claimed that Taiwanese artist Ouyang Nana was banned from entering Taiwan for life because of her remarks on military unification. Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council issued a statement on social media to clarify that the content of the video was false and untrue, "intended to undermine the public's trust in the government and provoke emotions within Taiwanese society."
The video, titled "Ouyang Nana made remarks on military unification! The Taiwanese authorities announced the cancellation of her Republic of China nationality and banned her from entering Taiwan for life!", has been circulating on YouTube since last Friday (16 May 2025).
The narrator of the video said that Ouyang Nana had posted remarks and pictures on social media involving "military unification" of Taiwan during the military exercise in mainland China, which triggered a strong backlash from Taiwanese society. In response, the Mainland Affairs Council and Taiwan's Ministry of Culture jointly announced that they had launched administrative and legal investigation procedures against Ouyang Nana in accordance with the "Regulations on Cross-Strait Relations" and relevant national security laws.
The video said that the relevant units announced the preliminary results of the handling last Friday, "Ouyang Nana will be stripped of her 'Republic of China' nationality and household registration, permanently deprived of her political rights in Taiwan, and will be required to complete the relocation registration within 30 days, and will not be allowed to enter Taiwan in the future."
In response, the Mainland Affairs Council issued a statement on its official Facebook page on Saturday (17 May 2025) to clarify that the content of the video was false and maliciously forged.
The Mainland Affairs Council said that the government administers according to law, and the relevant cases are being investigated according to law. There is no "deregistration of the artist's nationality or lifetime entry ban" as mentioned in the video. The Mainland Affairs Council emphasized that the video content involves forgery and is not true. It is maliciously edited and fabricated by people with intentions to undermine the public's trust in the government, provoke internal emotions in Taiwanese society, and undermine democratic mechanisms.
The Mainland Affairs Council said that a small number of Taiwanese artists have crossed the red line of Taiwanese society by cooperating with the Chinese Communist Party to eliminate the sovereignty of the "Republic of China", advocating the use of force against Taiwan or promoting military reunification. It will work with the competent authority, the Ministry of Culture, to investigate and deal with violations of Article 33-1 of the Cross-Strait Regulations.
The Mainland Affairs Council mentioned that the purpose of the government's relevant investigation is to provide artists in mainland China with reasons to refuse the CCP's political coercion and mobilization to express their opinions, support artists to say "no" to the other party, and help artists have more freedom.
Finally, the MAC called on artists to consider the perception of Taiwanese society, cherish Taiwan's hard-won democracy and free lifestyle, and not cooperate with the CCP's united front propaganda against Taiwan for personal gain, which would damage Taiwan's sovereignty and the safety of its people.
The MAC announced earlier that it would investigate the cooperative relationship between Taiwanese artists who went to the mainland to develop and the CCP, and listed artists such as Ouyang Nana, who had been criticized as a model of the united front against Taiwan by the Chinese mainland, as key administrative inspection targets.

Personnel changes in the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China. He will replace Miao Hua who was dismissed
Editor : Zhongkang / Source : CNA / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0519/2221134.html / Image : Web Screenshot

In recent years, many people in the leadership of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China have been involved in corruption and have been dismissed, triggering the reallocation of work and personnel. It is reported that Zhang Shengmin, a member of the Central Military Commission, has replaced Miao Hua in charge of the Political Work Department, and he may even serve as director concurrently.
Sing Tao Daily published an article today pointing out that since the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the military has launched an anti-corruption campaign. In addition to the commander-in-chief, there are a total of 6 people in the leadership of the Military Commission, and 3 of them have fallen so far, including former member of the Military Commission and Minister of Defense Li Shangfu, who has been transferred to the judicial department, and Miao Hua, a member of the Military Commission and director of the Political Work Department of the Military Commission who was dismissed from the post of National People's Congress representative.
In addition, He Weidong, a member of the Political Bureau and vice chairman of the Military Commission who has not been seen for a long time, is also in danger.
The article revealed that China's "7th National Self-improvement Model and Advanced Commendation Conference for Assisting the Disabled" was held in Beijing a few days ago, and Zhang Shengmin, who is also the secretary of the Military Commission Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the conference on behalf of the military.
The article stated that the affairs of the disabled are usually managed by the Political Work Department in the military, which means that Zhang Shengmin is already in charge of the Political Work Department, and he may even serve as director concurrently.
It is pointed out that at the "5th National Self-improvement Model and Advanced Disability Assistance Commendation Conference in 2014", the person who represented the military was Zhang Yang, member of the Military Commission and director of the General Political Department; at the 6th conference in 2019, because Miao Hua visited Cuba, Zhang Shengmin attended on his behalf.
In November last year, Miao Hua was suspended by the official for investigation, and at the end of last month he was dismissed from his position as a member of the National People's Congress, showing that his problems were escalating. It is believed that his position as director of the Political Work Department has been removed. As for the position of member of the Military Commission, it may still need to go through certain procedures.
The article revealed that Miao Hua has served in the 31st Group Army stationed in Fujian for a long time. It is rumored that a famous real estate developer in Xiamen was involved in the case at the end of last year and was detained by the Military Commission Supervision Committee and has been taken away for half a year.
The article pointed out that the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission is equivalent to the Organization Department and the Propaganda Department of the Military Commission. It is mainly responsible for guiding the propaganda, ideological and cultural work of the People's Liberation Army, including the assessment of senior generals. It is self-evident that it is now managed by Zhang Shengmin, who has a strong experience. It is also natural.
According to reports, 67-year-old Zhang Shengmin is from Shaanxi. He was born in the Rocket Force (Second Artillery) and is also a political cadre. He served as the director of the Political Research Office of the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army. Later, he served as the political commissar of the Second Artillery Command College and the director of the Political Department of the Second Artillery Force. In 2015, he returned to Beijing to serve as the first political commissar of the Central Military Commission's Training Management Department and the political commissar of the Logistics Support Department. In 2017, he served as the secretary of the Central Military Commission's Discipline Inspection Commission and concurrently as the deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. He has served for more than 8 years and is a member of the 19th and 20th Central Military Commissions.

Zhang Youxia's latest insider information is extremely reliable
Reporter : Sun Ruihou / Editor : Zhongkang / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0518/2220784.html / Image : Web Screenshot

As the case of Miao Hua and He Weidong, the military confidants of Xi Jinping, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party, continues to ferment, Yin Ke, an anti-communist internet celebrity living in Australia, also broke the news through the X platform account (@EdwinHChiang) on May 7, 2025, that Wang Renhua and Zhang Hongbing, the political commissar of the armed police force, were investigated.
Wang Chunning, a member of the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China, was absent from the opening ceremony of the special seminar for political and legal officials a few days ago, while Cao Junzhang, a lieutenant general of the Communist Party of China and deputy commander of the armed police, rarely appeared on the rostrum. It is reported that Cao Junzhang has become the acting commander of the armed police.
Commentator Li Yanming wrote that it is worth noting that Cao Junzhang is a close confidant of Zhang Youxia, the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China, and his 13th Group Army. Two months ago, Fu Wenhua, another close confidant of Zhang Youxia and commander of the Beijing Garrison District, was transferred to the deputy commander of the armed police force and promoted to lieutenant general. The shake-up of the top leadership of the armed police force once again confirmed the rumor that Xi lost military power and Zhang Youxia actually controlled military power.
Cao Junzhang, born in 1965, is from Chongqing. He served in the Chengdu Military Region for a long time. He served as deputy commander of the 149th Motorized Infantry Division (abbreviated as the Motorized Infantry Division) of the 13th Group Army of the Chengdu Military Region, director of the Operations Department of the Chengdu Military Region Command, and commander of the 149th Motorized Infantry Division; in November 2013, he served as Chief of Staff of the Sichuan Provincial Military Region; in July 2015, he was promoted to Major General; in 2016, he served as Deputy Commander of the 13th Group Army; in April 2017, he served as Deputy Commander of the 76th Group Army of the Western Theater Command; in March 2020, he served as Deputy Commander of the Joint Logistics Support Force; in March 2023, he served as Deputy Commander of the Armed Police Force and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General of the Armed Police Force.
Cao Junzhang and Zhang Youxia, the current Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China, had long-term intersections in the Chengdu Military Region.
Zhang Youxia's military career began in the 14th Group Army of the Chengdu Military Region. He served as the deputy commander and commander of the 40th Division of the 14th Group Army's Motorized Infantry Division. In 1994, he was promoted to deputy commander of the 13th Group Army of the Chengdu Military Region. In August 2000, he was promoted to commander. He was promoted to deputy commander of the Beijing Military Region in December 2005.
Two months ago, during the sensitive period of the two sessions of the Communist Party of China, Zhang Youxia's old confidant, Fu Wenhua, commander of the Beijing Garrison District, was transferred to the deputy commander of the Armed Police Force and promoted to lieutenant general, which attracted attention from the outside world.
Fu Wenhua, born in January 1965, has a master's degree in military science. He served in the 16th Group Army of the former Shenyang Military Region for a long time and is an old subordinate of Zhang Youxia.
Li Yanming said that Wang Chunning and Political Commissar Zhang Hongbing had problems one after another; Fu Wenhua served as deputy commander of the Armed Police Force and was promoted to lieutenant general at a sensitive time, and Cao Junzhang was suspected of acting as the commander of the Armed Police Force. This further confirms the news that Xi's power crisis and Zhang Youxia actually control military power.
Commentator Qin Peng revealed that a friend of his in China told him something that no one else had revealed. His buddy's father was the secretary of Zhang Youxia's father. The two families had very close contacts. At the beginning of last year, he said that something might happen to his uncle Zhang. But by September and October, he entertained people at home every day, and the house was packed with people.

Cai Qi suddenly changed sides and turned against Xi, and the anti-Xi campaign has set off an endless storm
Report by : Gu Cheng / Editor : Fang Xun / Source: People's Daily / Image : Web Screenshot / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0519/2220999.html
As the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee approaches, the rumours that Xi Jinping is about to step down are getting stronger and stronger. As Xi Jinping's close friend, Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, also rarely mentioned Xi Jinping's core in his public speech.
There are also rumours that the General Office of the CPC Central Committee issued a document directly pointing out that Xi Jinping's leftist ideas are disrupting the party and harming the country, indicating that the direction of the party has been determined and Cai Qi has also chosen to switch sides.
On 17 May 2025, the CPC party media Xinhua News Agency released a report titled "Cai Qi emphasized the need to adhere to problem-oriented and strict standard classification guidance to promote in-depth and practical learning and education during his research in Tangshan, Hebei Province", saying that Cai Qi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Secretariat, inspected and guided the in-depth implementation of the learning and education work of the Central Committee's eight regulations in Tangshan, Hebei Province from 16 to 17 May 2025.
However, Cai Qi only mentioned "General Secretary Xi Jinping" once in his speech, and rarely mentioned Xi Jinping's thoughts and "two safeguards" and "two establishments", which is intriguing.
If Cai Qi, Xi Jinping's personal secretary and chief steward of the Zhongnanhai, had any second thoughts, Xi Jinping would not be unable to sleep, but where to sleep.
Since the beginning of 2025, unfavorable news about Xi Jinping's loss of power has been flying around almost every day. Among the Standing Committee members of Zhongnanhai, except Cai Qi, it seems that the other five are more or less intentionally or unintentionally cutting ties with Xi Jinping.
Recently, it was reported that Ding Xuexiang wanted to be the general secretary at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee, and suddenly turned to the elders and has taken control of the power of the party, government and military.
It is an open secret that Zhao Leji, as a Jiang faction veteran, does not get along with Xi Jinping.
Li Xi, as an anti-Xi secret stake, cooperated with the military to clean up Xi's confidants in the military.
Li Qiang has long been tired of playing the role of Xi's scapegoat, and has been disloyal for a long time.
There is a version that Wang Huning is drafting a personnel layout plan for the CCP to arrange Xi after the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee.
In short, among the Standing Committee members, only Cai Qi is still loyal and die-hard.
On 24 April 2025, the National Party Committee and Government Secretary-General Meeting was held in Beijing. Cai Qi attended the meeting and delivered a speech, emphasizing "Xi Jinping Thought", "Two Upholds" and "Two Establishments". He was accused of using the secretarial system to help Xi Jinping spy among provincial senior officials.
On 12 March 2025, as soon as the two sessions ended, Cai Qi convened a national party building work meeting as the leader of the party building work leading group and delivered an important speech. Cai Qi mentioned Xi Jinping's name many times in his speech, emphasizing "Two Upholds" and "Two Establishments". The outside world analyzed that Cai Qi followed Xi Jinping's orders to fight back against the anti-Xi faction in the party in the name of party building.
Since May, the anti-Xi movement in Zhongnanhai has heated up sharply and has made rapid progress.
An article titled "No Solution to the Dilemma and No Salvation of the System" by Zhang Yingjie, associate professor of Peking University Guanghua School of Economics, was suddenly published in a newspaper controlled by Cai Xia, a former member of the Central Party School. The article openly criticized the policy changes of the Xi era, pointed out that "the problem is the economy, and the root is politics", strongly supported Wen Jiabao and Li Keqiang, and rarely mentioned Yu Maochun, a former American politician who was strongly criticized by Xi Jinping, and agreed to distinguish between China and the Communist Party.
Previously, it was reported online that two heroines from South China University of Technology also published anti-Xi and anti-Communist manifestos in their real names.
At the same time, there are rumours that five members of the Political Bureau, including Zhang Youxia, He Lifeng, Wang Yi, Ma Xingrui, and Yin Li, collectively raised the flag against Xi and resolutely drew a clear line with Xi.
There are also rumours that on 10 May 2025, a coup took place in Zhongnanhai, Xi Jinping was placed under house arrest for 72 hours, and Wen Jiabao has actually taken control of the power.
On 14 May 2025, it was reported that the CCP held an enlarged meeting of the Politburo in Beijing. Current Politburo members, CCP veterans, old military leaders, and former Standing Committee members gathered together to collectively denounce Xi Jinping and list the 12 crimes committed by Xi Jinping during his time in the party and government, including destroying the reform and opening-up policy, repeating Mao's totalitarian politics, engaging in gang politics, cracking down on private enterprises, and promoting wolf warrior diplomacy to damage US-China relations. It is rumoured that this is almost a settlement with Xi Jinping and a final judgment on Xi Jinping.
Two weeks ago, there were also rumours online that the CCP held an enlarged Politburo meeting of more than 50 people, indicating that the Youth League faction will soon return to the political stage.
All these rumours and anti-Xi campaign manifestos are aimed at Xi Jinping. The versions are dazzling, the density is high, and the number of factions involved is unprecedented. Even before the 20th National Congress, the anti-Xi and anti-Xi calls were never so earth-shaking and resounding. At that time, Xi was down and Li was up became the mainstream anti-Xi argument. Now it is different. From the people to the officialdom, from the academy to the temple, from the country to the overseas, the elders and ministers, the military and the political circles, the peddlers, the people of all walks of life, are all pure and pure against Xi and the Communist Party. This is the people's will and the will of heaven.
On 17 May 2025, many self-media bigwigs broke the news on the show that Cai Qi suddenly raised his arms and called for a high-profile anti-Xi.
The General Office of the CPC Central Committee headed by Cai Qi issued a document accusing Xi Jinping of turning left and causing chaos in the party and harming the country and the people.
According to reports, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee recently issued Document No. [2025] 11, titled "Notice on Preventing and Overcoming Extreme Left Thoughts from Interfering with the Current Overall Work Situation". The notice implicitly criticized Xi Jinping's left-leaning ruling ideology and policies from five aspects, including fully recognizing the real harm of extreme left thoughts, and seriously rectifying bad practices such as formalism and personality cult. Although Xi Jinping's name was not mentioned, the text was sharp and pointed directly at Xi Jinping.
Checking the documents issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee on mainland websites, the authenticity of Document No. [2025] 11 is questionable from the format and font size.
If Cai Qi really issued this document, it would undoubtedly be a proposal for a coup in Zhongnanhai, and it would have sounded a clarion call to the whole party to criticize Xi Jinping's left-leaning line. If this is true, the article should have been issued through the commentary article of the People's Daily of Xinhua News Agency, rather than through the General Office of the CPC Central Committee. Cai Qi is in charge of the pen, so he can do it.
This does not mean that Cai Qi has no intention to oppose Xi Jinping and break away from him. Even if the notice was fabricated on the Internet, Cai Qi did not mention Xi Jinping Thought and "two safeguards" and "two establishments" at all during his recent speech in Tangshan. Cai Qi may have the intention to take advantage of the anti-Xi notice. After all, in the face of the general trend, it is self-destruction to try to stop a chariot with a mantis arm.
Moreover, during the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee last year, Cai Qi was afraid of the backlash from the elders and removed the article "Reformer Xi Jinping". With this experience, it is not surprising that Cai Qi turned against Xi again at a critical moment.

Epic glory! Trump draws an exclamation mark on the world, Hamas and Houthis tremble in fear

Iran has become the abandoned child of the big goose. The big goose publicly abandoned Iran and sacrificed it to Trump, serving it on the table. The big goose withdrew, and Trump took advantage of the situation.
Recently, Trump's Middle East trip, the first stop: Saudi Arabia.
Why is Saudi Arabia the first stop chosen by Trump for his visit to the Middle East? Saudi Arabia is the rich man in the Middle East, and it is also the superpower in the Middle East. This is naturally due to economic and trade relations and strategic considerations.
Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia has attracted global attention.
The US lineup for this visit to Saudi Arabia is huge. Among them are the powerful cabinet team and business team of the United States, except for Vance. Because Vance's "gentle magic" is absolutely not needed this time, haha!
In addition to President Trump, Treasury Secretary Bessant, Defense Secretary, etc., there are also American business elites and business tycoons in this trip to Saudi Arabia. Musk, Huang Renxun, Google, Citibank, American Airlines, Amazon, Blackstone, etc., all participated in the joint forum meeting between the United States and Saudi Arabia.
These American business celebrities got big orders and made a lot of money. Recognition is wealth. The United States and Saudi Arabia have mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Saudi crown prince has only personally welcomed foreign presidents twice in his life, one for Trump and the other for Trump.
Saudi Arabia gave Trump the highest standard of reception. The Saudi crown prince personally went to the airport to welcome Trump, and then went to the airport to see Trump off.
As soon as Trump's plane flew into Saudi airspace, it was escorted by F15 fighter jets. On the road to the airport, purple carpets were laid, and the Saudi prince wore a purple headscarf. Purple means supreme honor in Saudi Arabia, so Trump responded with a blue suit and a purple tie.
Trump first arrived at the Vatican, but the first stop of his state visit was not Italy, but Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi royal family, including Crown Prince Bin Salman, have excellent English and do not need translation.
The local tycoons in the Middle East are more ostentatious than each other. Saudi Arabia invested $1 trillion in the United States and sold more than $140 billion in arms.
Qatar invested $1.2 trillion, and another $40 billion to buy 160 Boeing aircraft. It also gave Trump a $400 million Boeing plane. Qatar became independent in 1971 and was previously under the British Empire. The Emir of Qatar is indeed dressed in a white gauze pajamas and a pair of slippers. It's a spectacle. Haha!
The UAE invested $1.4 trillion in the United States and gave it a very large medal of honor.

Syria is preparing for peace and friendship with Israel
Syrian President Julani met with Trump in Saudi Arabia. He is a more slick and flexible old fox. He took the initiative to show his goodwill to Trump and proposed a mineral agreement to Trump. Trump lifted sanctions on Syria, and the Syrian people cheered.
Trump asked Syria to sign the Abraham Accords with Israel, expel terrorists, assist the United States in preventing the resurgence of ISIS, and expel Palestinian terrorist organizations.
Syria expressed its intention to join the Abraham Accords and prepare for peace and friendship with Israel.
The Syrian people broke out of the gloom and found the light, all thanks to Trump's values and behavioral choices. Since then, light and civilization have embraced Syria and the Syrian people.
The meeting between Julani and Trump has helped Syria sew up civilization.

Trump is the peacemaker among the U.S. presidents in history, he will never allow Iran to own nuclear weapons
Obama once apologized and repented to the Arab world with a 90-degree bow but he did not win the favour of the Arabs.
Biden once visited Saudi Arabia, and was greeted by a local tribal chief. He did not even shake the hand of the Saudi crown prince. Biden's four years have made the Middle East more chaotic, terrorists more arrogant, and the United States has become a joke in the Arab world.
The former American white left deliberately provoked wars for personal gain and profited from them. They used war to contain the development of the Middle East and made a fortune from war. The sober Arabs understand this, so they respect and appreciate Trump more, because Trump is the one who truly makes peace in the Middle East and develops the Middle East.
Today, Trump stands in front of the Arab world, Gaza ceases fire, the Red Sea is quiet, Hamas and Houthi armed forces are trembling, and Iran no longer moves rashly.
Trump's speech in Saudi Arabia emphasized that the United States will never allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. Because Iran is the culprit of the war in the Middle East, an agreement must be reached with Iran: Iran cannot obtain nuclear weapons. Otherwise, the United States will put extreme pressure on Iran.
Later, Hame Underwear consultant: Iran is willing to promise not to manufacture nuclear weapons in exchange for the lifting of sanctions.
From then on, Iran will be nuclear-free, and Hame Underwear will only have underwear. In addition, the Persian Gulf was renamed the Arabian Gulf, and Iran became more isolated.
In fact, more Arab countries are willing to make friends with Israel.
The trip to the Middle East showed Trump's diplomatic style.
Trump won the respect and love of the Arab world because he is a president who loves the United States deeply. Only by loving his own people can he love the people of the world deeply. A president who saves the United States with his life must also be a person who saves the world.
The previous President Bush used the method of war, but for many years, he did not change the Middle East, and the war in the Middle East continued. Trump has been welcomed and admired by Arab countries with rationality, pragmatism, strength and trust.
Trump has fully demonstrated the art of transaction in the Middle East, making the traditional alliance relationship of the United States tilt towards the Middle East.
Trump's trip to the Middle East was a huge success. Trump's personality and diplomatic charm are vividly displayed. This marked an amazing end.
Trump's speech in Saudi Arabia is a watershed between the old and new worlds.
Trump's speech in Riyadh told the world that the United States has given up changing the values of the people of the world, that the United States will no longer "interfere in other people's internal affairs", and that the United States will "put America first".
It can be interpreted as that Trump must not harm the United States or endanger the lives and property of the American people no matter what.
The United States no longer exports values to the world, but exports fair trade, trade, mutual benefit and win-win, and common development.
Economy is politics, and the market economy originates from freedom of thought. Using economic leverage can also reshape the new world order, making the world more civilized and freer!

Trump changes the Middle East, changes the world
Whoever changes the Middle East changes the world.
Trump has a very high IQ and intuitive ability. This person's big mouth, unrestrained, true temperament, all play open conspiracy. But often unexpectedly, he does not play by the rules, always using the "house demolition effect" to achieve the "window breaking effect", but it is hard to tell the pattern.
Trump returned with a full load in the Middle East, where is Trump's next stop?
Where is Trump's next chess game? Is it Japan? Will Japan quickly stand in line according to the wind direction? Or Latin America? Cuba? Which is the top priority?
According to Trump's personality, why didn't he bring the first lady Melania with him on this trip to the Middle East, which is such a "show" and "face" scene? Trump is the golden lion king, but Trump on this trip to the Middle East has white eyebrows and white hair. Is he really Trump? Or a stand-in? Why use a stand-in?
From the perspective of the world, the variables in the Middle East have quietly appeared.

Is a large-scale outbreak on the way? The CCP once again says "no need to panic", everyone take care
— The number of covid cases in many parts of China has increased significantly, and the number of people wearing masks has increased significantly
In late May, covid has seen a seasonal rebound in many parts of China. Our station has found in recent days that people from Hubei, Jiangxi to Shandong have noticed that the number of "colds" and confirmed cases has risen simultaneously, and the rate of wearing masks on the streets has also increased significantly compared to April. Although the authorities said "no need to panic", they did not release detailed figures.
The number of people infected with covid continues to rise in many parts of China. Zhao Zhi, a resident of Wuhan, Hubei, told Radio Free Asia on Monday (May 19) that when he went to the hospital for treatment recently, he found that "there are many more influenza patients". The hospital still routinely tests patients with fever: "I went to the hospital for treatment recently and found that there are many more influenza patients. The hospital tested patients for nucleic acid. Many patients with positive test results wore masks when going out, and some patients needed to be hospitalized."
Mr. Dong from the same city also confirmed that "there are obviously more people wearing masks" in front of Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine: "I am now seeing a doctor in the hospital. The streets are reappearing the earlier 'mask tide', and there are more people in the fever clinic."
The hotline staff of the Wuhan Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed in response to our inquiry that day that "the number of covid infections has increased recently" and reminded those with fever to "avoid crowds and be sure to wear masks" when going out: "Regarding the recent increase in covid infections, if you have a fever or are infected, try to avoid crowded places when you go out, and wear a mask."
In the past two months, the monitoring data of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention showed that the round of new crown fluctuations that began in late March is still continuing, but the overall intensity is significantly lower than the peak last summer. Experts judge that this wave will peak in late May, which is a "normal seasonal fluctuation". The public should maintain protection and not panic.

Local government accused of "downplaying the epidemic"
Han Zhengyang, a teacher at Jingdezhen Middle School in Jiangxi, said in an interview with this station that there are "a lot of colds" in the local area, and almost everyone wears a mask when going out, but the school has not shown any signs of suspending classes: "In April and May, there were a lot of people with colds here, but whether they had the new coronavirus had to go to the hospital for testing. The accuracy of the official data is questionable, but I personally think that the district and county governments are downplaying the new coronavirus. If the epidemic is serious, our school will suspend classes and holidays, but it has not been suspended yet."
From official monitoring to street observation, this round of epidemic since March is climbing, and the number of cases and positive rates may peak at the end of May. Experts call for "masks + hand washing + ventilation" in public places to remain the most economical and effective "three-piece set", and high-risk groups should be vaccinated with updated vaccines against the JN.1 strain in a timely manner, and seek medical treatment as soon as symptoms appear.
Zeng Jian, a resident of Taixing, Jiangsu, told our station that although masks are common, social sentiment "has already treated the new crown as ordinary flu": "Everyone now thinks that the covid is just like this, and no one has excessively prevented the epidemic or gone to the hospital for treatment."

Online discussions on children being hospitalized for covid are heating up
Gao Mingsheng, a resident of Qingdao, Shandong, noticed that the WeChat group recently discussed the risk of reinfection, but he was not panicked. Mr. Gao told our station: "The epidemic has reappeared recently. I saw more pedestrians wearing masks outside than in the past month, but this wave of epidemic did not cause panic in society. It may be because the news did not deliberately report this matter. Most people in the country make judgments based on the content of news reports and do not think independently."
Wang Huan, a resident of Jinan, revealed to our station that his youngest son was hospitalized for "flu" in April, but was diagnosed with covid. She said: "Now, for all colds and fevers, whether adults or children, the rate of testing positive for covid is relatively high. My youngest son was hospitalized in April and the hospital tested positive for covid. Recently, many children have been infected with covid."

The covi-positive rate doubled in two months, and experts said it would "peak in late May"
According to data from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention cited by China Business News on Sunday (18 May 2025), the covi-positive rate in influenza-like cases in sentinel hospitals nationwide has risen from 7.5% in the 14th week of March this year to 16.2% in the 18th week of April, with the south higher than the north. Li Dongzeng, director of the Department of Infection at Beijing You'an Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, predicted that the decline of group antibodies, the enhanced immune escape of Omicron XDV subclade NB.1.8.1, and the flow of people during the "May Day" period have all pushed up the transmission rate.
As for whether the epidemic will cause a large-scale impact again, Nanjing sociologist Zhong Tao told reporters that this depends on the transparency of government information and the allocation of medical resources.

Things are starting to change

In recent years, the pattern of the global rare earth supply chain has been undergoing profound changes. Represented by Australia's Lynas Corporation, Western countries' breakthroughs in rare earth mining, refining and recycling technologies are rapidly weakening the CCP's long-term monopoly in the global rare earth market. The CCP's strategy of trying to "choke the West" by tightening rare earth exports has not only failed to consolidate its dominant position, but has instead stimulated Western countries to accelerate the construction of an independent supply chain. It is expected that China's share of the global rare earth market will drop sharply from 62% to 28% within ten years. This trend not only highlights the power of global diversification, but also rings the alarm bell for the CCP's strategic mistakes.
Lynas' breakthrough: a milestone in the commercial production of heavy rare earths
In May 2025, Australia's Lynas Rare Earths announced that its plant in Kuantan, Malaysia, successfully produced dysprosium oxide, becoming the first company outside of China to achieve commercial separation and production of heavy rare earths, breaking the long-term dominance of the CCP. Lynas also plans to start producing terbium oxide in June 2025 to further expand its heavy rare earth product line. This achievement marks a key step in the Western rare earth supply chain, providing a reliable source of supply outside of China for electric vehicles, wind power and defense industries.
Amanda Lacaze, CEO of Lynas, said: "We are the only company in the world that commercially produces separated heavy rare earth products outside of China." This breakthrough not only enhances the resilience of Western supply chains, but also provides customers with an option to break away from their dependence on China. The White House has signed a $258 million contract with Lynas to support its construction of a new smelter in Texas, showing the United States' firm support for rare earth independence.
Australia has abundant rare earth reserves, and its production capacity is rapidly increasing based on Lynas' Mount Weld mine and processing facilities in Malaysia. Industry insiders predict that in three years, Australia is expected to become one of the world's major rare earth suppliers, competing directly with China, and even being hailed as the "Saudi Arabia" of the rare earth field.
US-Saudi cooperation and global layout: Reshaping the rare earth value chain
Globally, Western countries are accelerating the diversification of rare earth supply chains through multilateral cooperation. MP Materials, a US rare earth company, and Ma’aden, a Saudi Arabian mining giant, signed an agreement in 2025 to establish a complete rare earth value chain from mines to magnets in the Middle East. This cooperation combines MP Materials' mining experience in the Mountain Pass mine in California with Saudi Arabia's infrastructure advantages, aiming to provide key materials for high-tech fields such as electric vehicles and wind turbines.
In addition, the United States and Saudi Arabia have also promoted a $9 billion critical mineral plan involving the mining of lithium, cobalt and rare earths in Saudi Arabia and Africa, and the products will be exported to the United States first. This not only reduces the West's dependence on China, but also injects new economic vitality into the Middle East. MP Materials has stopped exporting rare earth concentrates to China, further cutting off ties with the CCP supply chain, marking a strategic transformation of the West in the field of rare earths.
At the same time, Mongolia, France, Japan and other countries are also taking active actions. Mongolia has signed a contract with the United States involving 31 million tons of rare earths, and France's Carester has invested in the construction of the world's largest rare earth recycling plant, which can produce 620 tons of rare earth oxides per year, accounting for 15% of global production. These measures show that Western countries are rapidly building a rare earth supply chain independent of China through a multi-pronged approach of mining, refining and recycling.
The CCP's strategic mistakes: From "choking" to self-entrapment
The CCP has long regarded rare earths as the "trump card" of the trade war and tried to suppress Western countries through export restrictions. However, this strategy has backfired. Most of the CCP's rare earth refining technology comes from the West, and its market dominance relies more on low costs and loose environmental standards than technical barriers. Western countries once relied on China's supply due to environmental regulations, but as geopolitical tensions intensified, the West quickly made up for this gap through technological upgrades and investments.
For example, the "Rare Earth Management Regulations" implemented by the CCP in October 2024 further tightened exports, triggering alarm in the global supply chain. Reuters reported that China's rare earth exports have stagnated due to strict licensing procedures, resulting in an increased risk of overseas supply shortages. This not only failed to "choke" the West, but instead prompted Australia, the United States, Saudi Arabia and other countries to accelerate investment in the rare earth industry. France's L'Echo pointed out that the West is expected to reduce China's rare earth market share from 62% to 28% by 2035 through the development of new mines in Australia, Africa, Greenland and Ukraine, as well as the mass production breakthroughs of MP Materials and Mayaton.
The CCP's monopoly strategy has also led to difficulties in its domestic rare earth industry. The 2023 annual report of China Rare Earth Group shows that despite the increase in mining volume, sales revenue has declined, reflecting the reality of shrinking demand in overseas markets. This "shooting oneself in the foot" approach not only weakens the CCP's global influence, but also provides Western countries with an opportunity to seize the market.
Conclusion
The rare earth breakthroughs of Australia's Lynas Corporation and other Western countries mark the entry of the global rare earth market into a diversified era. The West is rapidly breaking the CCP's monopoly through a comprehensive layout of technology, investment and international cooperation. Instead of suppressing its opponents, the CCP's "choke point" strategy has promoted the reshaping of the global supply chain, highlighting the short-sightedness and failure of its strategy.
