Transfer to Best Yue Hang Hotel to board mini shuttle-bus AA6232 from Kunming Changshui Airport is done via Door 4 on the arrival level.
Check-in at the hotel reception and check-out are fast. The hotel allows check-out by 2 pm.
Best Yue Hang Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Kunming Changshui Airport. At this hotel, I can not only see the airport terminal building thoughout the day, but also aircraft taking off for the sky above the hotel during the day. The hotel also hosts the Kunming branch office of Air Travel Hunan Airlines.
To capture more photos of aircraft flying from the airport, go to the car park located next to the hotel. This car park is open to the public who wish to go to the Kunming Airport VIP terminal and Kunming Airport Police Station but non-goers can also park at this area because the car park space is gigantic. Walk past the parking space for tourist buses to reach the empty space after the car park entrance. Stand there and within hours it is possible to shoot more than 300 photos of aircraft taking off to the sky above the rooftop of Best Yue Hang Hotel.
The room of Best Yue Hang Hotel where I stay has the tap basin next to the bed while the toilet and shower room are separated next to each other. There are not many fruit varieties among the complementary breakfast.
I will stay at Best Yue Hang Hotel again for plane-spotting purpose if I wished to fly to Kunming.
