The sudden death of former Chinese Communist Premier Li Keqiang, a senior official at the national level, made the turbulent Chinese Communist regime even more bizarre. His sudden death also triggered discussions about a power struggle among the top leaders of the CCP. Some analysts pointed out that there were six secrets of internal strife between Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang; others pointed out that the political impact of Li's death cannot be underestimated, which is also the fundamental reason why the Chinese Communist authorities suppressed public condolences.

On 26 October 2023, Li Keqiang aged 68 years old, died of a "sudden heart attack" in Shanghai in the early morning of 27 October. Multiple reports pointed out that after Li Keqiang arrived in Shanghai where he stayed at Dongjiao Hotel. He suffered a heart attack while swimming and was sent to Shanghai Shuguang Hospital (East Branch) where he died after resuscitation failed.

After the news came out, many people believed that the cause of Li Keqiang's death was not simple. In particular, Li Keqiang was a retired high-ranking official with a dedicated medical team. So why he died suddenly caused a lot of discussion among the outside world. At the same time, public opinion also pointed to this as an extension of the internal strife among the top leaders of the CCP.

Current political commentator Yue Shan wrote an article in The Epoch Times on 29 October 2023, saying that taking stock of the six secrets of internal strife between Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang for ten years may show that Li Keqiang’s sudden death was the result of long-term accumulated conflicts and sudden shocks.

These six secrets of internal strife include: 1. When he came to power, he secretly determined the dispute between the North and South Courts of Zhongnanhai; 2. Xi Jinping seized power in the name of reform; 3. Li Keqiang had his skirt cut off from six years ago to after he left office; 4. Internal strife broke out between Xi and Li due to fraud in poverty alleviation; 5. Li Keqiang’s push to “decentralize power, delegate powers, decentralize regulation and optimize services” was ineffective, and Xi and Li Qiang denounced it; 6. Xi’s secretary Li Qiang cleared Li Keqiang’s old account.

Political commentator Qin Shize wrote in The Epoch Times that in the history of the CCP, there are many examples of state-level leaders and high-level officials dying suddenly and unexpectedly, such as Liu Shaoqi, Lin Biao, Hu Yaobang, etc., and there are hidden secrets behind the death of each figure. It revealed the dark secrets in the history of the CCP’s high-level power struggle, and also had a devastating impact on the CCP’s political arena.

Qin Shi believed that Li Keqiang's death was just like history playing a serious joke at a critical moment. Some are inevitable, some are accidental, some involve human factors, and some are results of God's will. Did the highest authority of the Chinese Communist Party directly take action to get rid of Li Keqiang? This is unlikely because the motivation is insufficient and the negative political effects far outweigh the political gains.

News of Li Keqiang's sudden death shocked the outside world. The Chinese Communist authorities have vigorously maintained stability and strictly prevented people from gathering to protest. According to online reports, the authorities ordered CCP China to ban public events for a week, and ordered universities to cancel club activities and not to gather in the streets. Chinese Communist social media platforms have also restricted discussions related to Li Keqiang.

Qin Shi said that Li Keqiang's death was a precise collision between history and the Chinese Communist Party authorities. To say it was an accidental collision is something that the highest authorities of the Chinese Communist Party did not want to encounter. To say it was precise means that it was God’s will. The CCP’s current economic downturn, people’s livelihood, constant political scandals, and internal and external difficulties...Although the political effects it has produced are difficult to compare with the April 5th Movement and the 1989/1964 Movement, it cannot be underestimated. This is also the fundamental reason why the authorities suppressed public condolences.

Qin Shi warned that looking back at Li Keqiang's life and fate, it sounded a wake-up call to the technocrats working for the CCP within the system. If you follow the CCP, even though you are a very popular minister, you will not be able to escape your ultimate fate and end in misery. The public opinion effect triggered by Li Keqiang's death and the strong public opinion formed are undoubtedly a strong impact on the Chinese Communist regime. This incident has caused the CCP officials to lose their luster, the party and state to make mistakes, and the regime to lose its trust. However, the wheel of history has not been out of order, and the moment when God will destroy the CCP is getting closer and closer.
