Is the CCP no longer pretending? Wang Yi publicly criticized Israel for two consecutive days

中共不装了? 王毅一连两日公开批评以色列

Hamas’s terrorist attack on Israel triggered a war. After the CCP supported Palestine, Foreign Minister Wang Yi publicly criticized Israel for "going beyond the scope of self-defense." Analysts point out that the CCP’s support for terrorist organizations will further isolate it in the international community.

On 14 October 2023, the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China reported that in a phone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal, Wang Yi claimed that Israel's actions "went beyond the scope of self-defense" and asked Israel to "stop collective punishment of the people of Gaza" and so on.

Wang Yi once again mentioned the so-called "historical injustice to Palestine", supported the establishment of a Palestinian state, and declared that CCP China is "willing to work with Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries" to promote the Palestinian issue to "return to the two-state solution."

On the 15th, during a phone call with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Wang Yi once again accused Israel, without naming him, that "it should abide by international law and international humanitarian law when exercising its right to self-defense" and that "reacting violence with violence can only cause greater harm."

Prior to this, Wang Yi had publicly expressed his support for Hamas.

On 13 October 2023, Wang Yi publicly supported Hamas at a press conference after the China-EU High-Level Strategic Dialogue and once again promoted the "two-state theory", declaring that "the root cause of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is that the Palestinian aspiration for statehood has not been realized." "Yunyun.

Hamas raided Israel on October 7 and massacred more than a thousand Israelis, most of whom were civilians. Subsequently, Israel launched successive air strikes on the Gaza Strip where Hamas is entrenched and launched a ground offensive, vowing to completely eliminate the Hamas terrorist organization. Israel's actions have received support from Western liberal societies.

After the incident, the CCP tried hard to show its "neutral" stance and took the opportunity to reiterate the "two-state theory". At the same time, it provided support to Hamas in public opinion and actions. Under its instigation, a large number of comments supporting Hamas and anti-Israel appeared on the Chinese Communist Party’s social media.

Now Wang Yi openly supports Hamas and criticizes Israel. Many commentators said that the CCP has taken off its mask and "stopped pretending."

Feng Chongyi, an expert on China issues at the University of Technology, Sydney, told The Epoch Times that the CCP is now going sideways and blatantly siding with Hamas, which is "equivalent to breaking off relations with Israel."

Among democratic countries, Israel has always been a relatively "friendly" country to the CCP and has continued to provide high-tech support to the CCP for many years. After this Hamas raid, Israel initially hoped that the CCP would express support for itself, but the CCP openly supported Hamas, and Israeli officials have angrily expressed "disappointment" many times. An Israeli scholar wrote that the country is bound to reconsider its relationship with Beijing.

In response to the CCP's argument, Feng Chongyi said that the Palestinians cannot obtain security guarantees, and this issue should be dealt with by Hamas.

He analyzed that the relevant agreements reached in history all advocated reconciliation between Arab and Israeli parties and the establishment of a state. In this way, Palestine will also live a safe life. Now Palestine cannot establish a state because Hamas has had a hand in it. "They do not recognize the legitimacy of the establishment of the state of Israel. They want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and do not allow moderates or pragmatists in Palestine to compete with Israel." Reconciliation, so they cannot establish a state, and the source of the Palestinians' own insecurity lies here."

Feng Chongyi believes that the CCP’s current approach is very stupid. They believe that the Arab world will support Hamas and that they can fish in troubled waters and gain some benefits. “But now, in the Arab world, apart from paying lip service to support, no country has really stood up to support Hamas.” Or it is a jihad without troops, weapons and personnel. If China (CCP) takes a stand at this time, it will only become more isolated in the international community."

In fact, many analysts believe that this unusual Hamas raid on Israel is likely to be supported by the Chinese Communist Party and Russia, because China and Russia need to divert the attention of Europe and the United States from the Indo-Pacific region and the war in Ukraine. Others believe that provoking a war in the Middle East is one of the steps of the CCP's "military unification of Taiwan".

Today’s focus: The CCP is competing with a history book. What taboos in Zhongnanhai did “Chongzhen: The Diligent King of the Subjugated Country” violate?

As the rivalry between major powers intensifies around Gaza, Israel wants to figure out one thing in particular. After tearing off the pretense of neutrality, Chinese Communist Party Foreign Minister Wang Yi denounced Israel and won over Arab countries. What are the chances of winning?

The banned biography of Emperor Chongzhen triggered Xi Jinping’s worst fear

On 16 October 2023, the recently popular history book "Chongzhen: The Diligent King of Subjugation" was banned, which surprised many people and made the book even more popular. Many people are looking around for where to find this book.

This book is actually a reprint of historian Chen Wutong's book "The Past of Chongzhen". A friend sent me a PDF version of the book, and I put the link in the comment area. Interested friends can download and study.

Of course, in order to protect the interests of publishers, if you can buy the printed version, please continue to buy it.

This time the "Removal Notice" has a new feature. It is not issued by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China or the Cyberspace Administration of China. Instead, it is issued by the issuing company from major websites, bookstores, and distributors on the grounds of "printing problems". The full recall action has exposed two major secrets of the party-state:

First, the Chinese Communist authorities are afraid of people’s association, so they dare not come forward.

Second, Mr. Chen Wutong passed away on 31 May 2023, and the book was last published in 2016, so it is definitely not the problem with the manuscript itself. The biggest difference between the two versions is the inscription on the cover: "If you make mistakes one after another, the more diligent you are, the more your country will perish."

Regarding the banning of the book, there were various metaphors and cynicism in WeChat groups and Moments. Some people said, "There is also a book called "Qin Shihuang and Emperor Yang of Sui who loved big projects" and "The New Dynasty in which the public owned everything". Others said, "Of course, diligent government may lead to the destruction of the country. The most fearful thing is to be diligent in government without the ability." , every step is on the wrong road. But it would be too stupid to take this book off the shelves. - This order itself is a typical example of working hard to do bad things. It’s quite ironic." Someone else responded, "Everyone was still praising you two days ago. Where is this cover?", "I suspect you are fishing", "The more you talk about it, the more it sounds like it", "Has it been reported?", etc.

There is no doubt that almost everyone thinks this is an allusion to Xi Jinping.

Compared with the previous version, the introduction of the new book also gives a different reading experience: the author "leads readers to understand how Emperor Chongzhen made repeated mistakes and embarked on the road to national subjugation from the perspectives of finance, party struggle, military, employment, etc....Turn over Open this book and understand how Emperor Chongzhen pushed himself to a dead end step by step."

Why was the same book that could have been released before, but was taken off the shelves when Xi Jinping seemed to be at the height of his power? I think this reveals a secret hidden in Xi Jinping’s heart: He is increasingly confused about his future and is afraid of becoming the last person to die of the party.

As we have said before, U.S. diplomats sent a message back to the State Department more than 10 years ago, saying that Xi Jinping is very fond of traditional Chinese culture, which of course includes Buddhism, Qigong and prophecy. In 2015, when Xi Jinping and Ma Ying-jeou met, the party media "People's Daily" quoted the famous prophecy book "Tui Bei Tu" as saying "two feathers and four feet", which pushed this statement to a climax.

Since then, many people have also used the 53rd image of "Tui Bei Tu" to further say that Xi Jinping, whose ancestral home is in Shaanxi, is the predicted new emperor of China: "The emperor of Guanzhong, a polite and virtuous corporal. He surrenders his fate in obedience to heaven, and a half-old man has a son." "A half-old man." Taken apart, "Youzi" is a filial character, which is consistent with Xi Jinping's filial piety to his parents.

The Chinese Communist Party’s CCTV once reported that “In Xi Jinping’s office, there are several photos with his parents and family all year round. One of the photos freezes the tender moment of him and his mother walking hand in hand in the park. Sometimes after having a meal with his mother, Xi Jinping would hold her hand for a walk and chat with her.”

The eulogy part of the 53rd portrait also made Xi Jinping feel that it was very consistent with him. "A filial son came from the west, holding the key to peace in the world. The two flags in the city are beautiful, and the predecessors are not as good as the talents after them." He takes it for granted that he was born in Shaanxi Province. Mao Zedong was more talented before. Therefore, Mao Zedong did not dare to go to the Forbidden City, but he did. Mao Zedong did not dare to openly sit on the throne and use royal porcelain.

However, everyone can also feel that although Xi Jinping once had lofty ambitions and hoped to be the master of the resurgence of the CCP and open up a great cause for the next hundred years, over the years, his diligent work and personal command and deployment have not been the same as those of Emperor Chongzhen. Similarly, things often end badly, and in the end, they are internally and externally trapped and exhausted. The unfinished emperor and the chief accelerator were given away.

Especially now, it has become a consensus at home and abroad that CCP China's economy has entered deflation and long-term economic recession. The Chinese media recently coined a new term "non-short period of economic recession", which has become a new joke; militarily, Xi Jinping has attacked everywhere and almost all the neighbours are in opposition to the Western camp, and the pressure is increasing; there are endless struggles within the party. He keeps fighting corruption, repeatedly trying to make the pie, and openly removing Hu Jintao from the rostrum of the Great Hall of the People, which chills the party and most officials. Lying flat; not good at recognizing and employing people, he personally raised and knocked down Foreign Minister Qin Gang and Defense Minister Li Shangfu, etc. It is even more strikingly similar to this book "The Diligent King of Subjugation": "From finance and party struggle , military, employment and other perspectives, leading readers to understand how Emperor Chongzhen made repeated mistakes and embarked on the road to national subjugation."

Because of this, Xi Jinping has gone from being complacent at the beginning and wanting to conquer the world to the Emperor Xi who is now fearful of being assassinated and embarking on the path of subjugation of the country (party).

This apocalyptic mentality made him more and more nervous, which is why he completely wiped out the Rocket Army, refused to go abroad unless necessary, stayed at home as an otaku, and banned history books, which is rare nowadays.

However, history books can be banned, but can historical laws be banned?

The war between Israel and Hamas is full of doubts, and the CCP abandons Israel to make the gamble of the century

Of course, Xi Jinping is still very diligent. For example, Wang Yi recently made a U-turn in the Israel-Hamas war, from initially pretending to be neutral to openly supporting Hamas. Many mainland netizens believe that the reason behind this change is not that Wang Yi cannot understand it, but because "that person" personally spoke.

On October 14, Wang Yi had a phone call with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, criticizing Israel by name for “beyond the scope of self-defense.” On Sunday (15 October), he had a phone call with the Iranian Foreign Minister, without mentioning by name, "The exercise of the right to self-defense should abide by international law and international humanitarian law, including ensuring the safety of civilians and detained persons. Responding to violence with violence will only cause greater harm." harm and bring about a more serious crisis."

The CCP attempts to justify offending Israel for a few reasons

The CCP has openly offended Israel. Why does Xi Jinping do this? I think he has made an exquisite calculation of interests:

First of all, Xi Jinping believes that in the context of the escalating competition between CCP China and the United States, Israel, as the closest ally of the United States, can no longer side with the CCP. Therefore, even though Israel is one of the countries that has helped the CCP the most and now has an ambiguous relationship with the CCP, the CCP still wants to get rid of the trouble and kill the donkey.

Secondly, Xi Jinping believes that offending Israel can gain widespread support from Islamic countries, which is a good deal. On 15 October, Wang Yi said during a phone call with the Iranian Foreign Minister, "China supports Islamic countries to strengthen unity and coordination on the Palestinian issue and speak with a unified voice."

Wang Yi's speech is obviously not just for Iran. Currently, the League of Arab States has 22 member states, including Egypt, a major country in the Middle East, and major oil-producing countries. The global Muslim population is even larger, exceeding 1.9 billion in 2020, accounting for about a quarter of the world's total population. Since Islam adheres to natural reproduction and does not allow birth control, it is estimated that the number of people will reach 3 billion in 2030. At the same time, many European countries are becoming increasingly Muslim.

Therefore, Xi Jinping is playing a big game of chess and taking a big gamble. He bet that the CCP had a chance to win.

The CCP's moves are doomed to fail for a few reasons

However, such a wish was destined to fail. because:

First of all, in terms of national strength, Israel and predominantly Christian countries are far better than Muslim countries. Among them, the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, and South Korea account for the world's major GDP and the most advanced technology and military power. After the CCP offends Israel, it will definitely suffer further economic and technological blows. Islamic countries will not directly help the CCP.

Secondly, the vast majority of the Muslim world does not support Hamas, but only sympathizes with the suffering of the Palestinians, is worried about the humanitarian disaster, or has to express solidarity as a member of the same group.

The anti-Israel countries do not support Hamas militarily

At present, neighbouring Arab countries only give verbal support. Even the countries in the anti-Israel alliance have their own agendas and are unable to do anything. Among them, Lebanese Hezbollah and Syria only fired a few symbolic shots at Israel; Iran also lowered its profile from the initial vigorous celebration of Hamas's successful attack, denying its involvement in planning and organization, and later hinted that as long as Israel does not attack Iran will not send troops.

The GIC accuses Hamas of crimes against humanity, prohibits Muslims from supporting the terrorist organization

Moreover, last weekend, the Global Imam Council (GIC) also issued a statement condemning Hamas’s terrorist attacks on Israel and supporting the verdict against the terrorist organization. This organization is composed of 1,470 Muslim "imams" around the world. "Imam" is a respectful title for the leader and respected person of Islam. The ancient Persian word means "teacher" or "scholar".

The statement said: “The Global Imam Council (GIC), our members and the more than 800 communities led by imams around the world, the Islamic Fatwa Council on 9 March 2023 targeted Hamas. The order, which accuses Hamas of corruption and crimes against humanity, prohibits Muslims from supporting, donating to, joining or praying for the terrorist organization."

News (9)

Hamas is not the legitimate representative of Palestine

Third, Palestinian President Abbas recently stated that they are the only legitimate representatives of Palestine. This is a heavy blow to the legitimacy of Hamas, which occupies Gaza.

Of course, many people noticed that after Abbas made the above statement in a phone call with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the official news agency Wafa website deleted the original text, so many people believe that Abbas withdrew the speech.

However, the fact is that they only made textual adjustments and no fundamental changes occurred.

In the original report, Wafa News Agency wrote: "President Abbas emphasized that Hamas's strategies and actions do not represent the Palestinian people. The policies, plans and resolutions of the Palestine Liberation Organization are the only legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people."

The text then read: “President Abbas emphasized that the policies, plans and resolutions of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and not any other organization, are the only legitimate representatives of the Palestinian people.”

News (10)

Israel can avert large-scale humanitarian disaster and win

Fourth, and I think it is also very important, is whether Israel can deal a devastating blow to Hamas without causing a large-scale humanitarian disaster. If it could, then with the United States and Europe strongly supporting Israel, the Muslim world would either actively or passively accept the outcome.

Of course, if a lot of losses are caused in the process and the process drags on for a long time, the international public opinion environment may change, and the situation will change greatly.

Putin: Israel can win

Currently, we see that Russian President Vladimir Putin appears to be betting that Israel will win and Hamas will lose.

On 14 October 2023 Putin said that Israel had suffered an "unprecedented brutal attack" and had the right to defend itself. Of course, he also warned that Israel's ground offensive in Gaza could have serious consequences, including "absolutely unacceptable" civilian casualties.

Xi enters the Middle East and West Asia, known as the "Cemeteries of Empires"

Will Xi Jinping, who has bet unilaterally on Hamas, see the results he envisioned?

In addition, there is another major event that may make Zhongnanhai scream in the middle of the night, and that is: Why Hamas has such great power this time to launch an unprecedented escalation of attacks on Israel is now full of doubts. Who is behind Hamas, who is supporting Iran, and who provides their weapons, motorcycle paragliders and other technologies? Currently, many clues point to the CCP.

So, as time goes by, will the United States and Israel discover more evidence? I think the possibility is very, very high. The Middle East and West Asia, which are broadly called the "cemeteries of empires," are not so easy for the diode-minded CCP to play around with. Maybe, it will die without a burial place!

Insinuating who? China's new book "Chongzhen: The Diligent King of the Subjugated Country" has been removed from the shelves

Xi Jinping decided to protect the party after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, but instead pushed the CCP towards its demise step by step. Folks compare him to the Ming Dynasty emperor Chongzhen. A new book "Chongzhen: The Diligent King of the Subjugated Country" was published in mainland China last month and has been removed from the shelves a few days ago.

The new book "Chongzhen: The Diligent King of the Subjugated Country", which was just published in September 2023, has recently become popular on mainland Weibo. Netizens have retweeted the book's cover and introduction, and made various cryptic comments reflecting on Xi Jinping.

On the cover of the book, a hanging rope is used to wrap around the "neck" of the word "Chong". Below it is repeated twice in succession: "Failure to make mistakes, the more diligent you are, the more the country will be destroyed." and then listed Chongzhen. What the emperor did: "Pursue to enrich the country, but keep the money for personal use, and sit back and watch the military expenditures be depleted; intend to strengthen the army, but increase the salary by three times, causing the people to live in poverty; want to quell party disputes, but listen to one's own beliefs, deepening conflicts among ministers; use people carefully, but He was suspicious and fickle, and eventually killed Yuan Chonghuan unjustly."

The introduction to the book circulated on the Internet states that Emperor Chongzhen, who hanged himself in Meishan, did not indulge in wine, sex, and extravagance. Instead, he was diligent and frugal and worked hard to govern, but he eventually became a "king of the country." The author of this book wrote, "From the perspectives of finance, party struggle, military affairs, and employment, the book leads readers to understand how Emperor Chongzhen made repeated mistakes and embarked on the road to national subjugation."

The introduction also says, "Open this book and understand how Emperor Chongzhen pushed himself to a dead end step by step."

This book was published by Shanghai's official Wenhui Publishing House. The author is Chen Wutong, a historian and expert on Ming history. According to public information, Chen Wutong was the chairman of the History Department of the Central University for Nationalities. He died of illness in Beijing on 31 May 2023 at the age of 88.

Netizens’ attention to this book seems to have touched the nerves of the CCP’s “maintenance of public opinion stability”. On 16 October, a "removal notice" issued by Duke Culture Co., Ltd. leaked online, claiming that all hardcopies of the book were removed from shelves and recalled due to "printing issues." Major websites, Xinhua Bookstores, and private dealers were requested to receive the notice. After notification, it will be removed from the shelves immediately and arrangements for returns will be made.

At the same time, the blog post introducing the book on Weibo was also blocked.

Taiwan's Central News Agency reported on the same day that Dangdang, the main e-commerce platform for selling books in mainland China, could no longer find the book; the book purchase link was still visible on JD.com, but when clicked, prompts such as "Purchase is not currently supported" or "This product has been removed from the shelves" appeared. .

There are some comments on mainland Weibo discussing the book's recall, most of which are still relatively vague: "Some words on the cover are unreasonable and there are printing problems. Some people are afraid and feel guilty", "Everyone was still praising this cover two days ago", " The more he talks, the more he sounds like (someone)", "Has he been reported?"

On the X platform (formerly Twitter), netizens also left messages: "I knew I was right", "What are they afraid of" and "Sensitive skin is becoming more sensitive."

Chinese Communist Party officials rarely reveal that the “One Belt, One Road” initiative exists in name only

中共官员罕见透露 “一带一路”已名存实亡
As the CCP held a high-profile "Belt and Road" summit forum, a CCP official rarely revealed that due to the double blow of the covid pandemic and CCP China's economic problems, the "Belt and Road Initiative"  has existed in name only.

From 17 to 18 October 2023, the third “Belt and Road” International Cooperation Summit Forum of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing. Xi Jinping will attend and deliver a keynote speech. Following the two sessions in 2017 and 2019, this year is the third Belt and Road Forum that the Communist Party of China resumed hosting three years after the pandemic.

As the forum gets underway, projects initiated by Xi Jinping face an uncertain future, Bloomberg reported. The Center for Green Finance and Development, a think tank, estimates that the program attracted $1 trillion in funding in its first decade, but has slowed in recent years.

A Chinese Communist Party official who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter revealed that due to the double blow of the pandemic and CCP China's economic problems, the "One Belt, One Road" initiative has ceased to exist in name only. Beijing is hoping this week's 10th anniversary summit on the Belt and Road Initiative will revive the project.

A senior U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the U.S. assessment of the Belt and Road Initiative was in serious trouble. Beijing has less money to lend and pressure to collect outstanding loans is growing.

China’s overall activities in countries along the Belt and Road have dropped by about 40% from the peak in 2018. According to the report, Beijing faces accusations of being an irresponsible borrower for leaving participating countries with debts it cannot repay.

Italy is the only G7 country to sign onto the Belt and Road Initiative and is expected to withdraw from China's plan by the end of the year.

Research by the Shanghai-based Fudan University Green Finance and Development Center shows that annual funding for the Belt and Road Initiative plummeted to US$63.7 billion in the first year of the epidemic as countries such as Ethiopia, Sri Lanka and Pakistan fell into debt crises. The average amount of investment in the Belt and Road Initiative in the first half of this year dropped 48% from the peak in 2018 to approximately US$392 million.

A research report released in September 2021 by the Aid Data Research Laboratory (AidData) of the College of William and Mary pointed out that the CCP’s “Belt and Road” initiative has saddled dozens of low- and middle-income countries with “hidden financial aid” totaling US$385 billion. debt". More than 40 countries' debt exposure to Beijing exceeds 10% of their GDP.

Professor Feng Chongyi of the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia, told The Epoch Times on 16 October 2023 that among the major countries in the Belt and Road Initiative, Italy will also withdraw, which means that neither developed countries nor democratic countries will participate. The CCP originally wanted to build a world-wide project, but now it has been downgraded to include developing countries. And many developing countries have many problems.

Feng Chongyi pointed out that this is Xi Jinping's face-saving project. He spent a lot of money to get it in, but it is now unfinished and has been attacked in various ways. Therefore, he will continue to hold this conference to prove how successful it is. The more people invited, the better.

China's economy continues to decline, while the public remains calm and waits for "changes"

Reporter : Li Enzhen / Editor : Fan Ming / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/10/17/a103807125.html Image : China's economy continues to decline and youth unemployment remains high. The picture shows a schematic diagram. (Jade Gao/AFP via Getty Images)

中国经济持续下滑 民间躺平静待“变天”

CCP China's economy continues to decline, real estate debt crises have broken out one after another, and youth unemployment remains high. Although the Chinese Communist Party has taken some official measures, the loss of public confidence has become the key to the difficulty of China's economic recovery. Regarding the current situation of Chinese society, people from top to bottom in mainland China have almost chosen to lie down and wait for the "change".

On 13 October, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of the Communist Party of China showed that the national consumer price (CPI) in September was 0% year-on-year, and increased by 0.1% year-on-year in August; the national industrial producer price (PPI) in September fell by 2.5% year-on-year. The decline in August was 3%.

On the same day, data released by the General Administration of Customs of the Communist Party of China showed that in September, China's export value fell by 6.2% year-on-year, a decline that was 2.6 percentage points narrower than the previous month, and imports fell by 6.2% year-on-year, a decline that was 1.1 percentage points narrower than the previous month.

In addition, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) lowered its forecast for China's economic growth rate on October 10. According to forecasts, China's economic growth rate will be 5.0% and 4.2% respectively this year and next year, revised down 0.2 and 0.3 percentage points from July. The main reason is the real estate crisis and weak external demand.

According to a report in the Wall Street Journal on October 16, the protracted real estate crisis continues to affect the Chinese economy. The increasing possibility of a major Chinese developer defaulting on its contract is triggering a new round of concerns among global investors. A long-awaited recovery in consumer spending after three years of lifting pandemic restrictions proved to be short-lived.

In addition, exports are expected to weigh on economic growth for the rest of the year as overseas demand for Chinese goods cools.

The report mentioned that in response to the real estate crisis, officials in more cities have lifted residential purchase restrictions. In some cases, they have begun allowing developers to offer deeper discounts to absorb inventory of homes for sale.

However, economists generally believe that these measures are only a drop in the bucket and cannot achieve a lasting recovery in confidence, which many believe is the key missing factor in the economic recovery.

The Chinese government has done little to address structural headwinds. The report quoted Ding Shuang, chief China economist at Standard Chartered Bank, as saying that the recovery momentum after the epidemic is not as strong as expected, and there are basically no signs that confidence will improve.

All walks of life are "lying flat"
Under the Communist Party of China, youth unemployment has become a politically sensitive issue. Because there are no feasible political channels in China, the pressure for young people to survive has increased in vain. They can only survive by "living down", "living away" and the "four no's" (not falling in love, not getting married, not buying a house, and not having children). Express your dissatisfaction.

This kind of "lying flat" has become popular among young people in mainland China and has spread to the CCP officialdom. After Xi Jinping was re-elected for the third time, the laziness and neglect of CCP officials has become more and more serious, and the collective "laying down" has become an alternative regime crisis.

On 16 October 2023, Cai Shenkun, a senior commentator and columnist, posted on the overseas social media platform. Almost all people who are a little more sober have chosen to lie down, without passion or pursuit. Since the end of last year, they have watched many of their peers who should not have died die inexplicably. They only hope to live well so that they can watch this farce unfold. How long it will take, and how it will end in the end. He believes that no matter what tricks are used, this farce can no longer go on. People within the system are more afraid than watching with cold eyes. Even if political slogans are shouted loudly, many people Everyone thinks they are just deceiving themselves, except of course the brainless Pink."

Some netizens commented, "Why lie down? We have no hope, so they have no hope. This is hope." "Yes, people around me and fellow netizens who are close to me basically have this mentality."

"The sober people inside the wall can't speak at all. The feeling of powerlessness can only make people lie flat."

"During the epidemic, Xi Jinping was forced to step down in almost every city. When people's food and clothing problems are all problems, people will explode!"

"Lying flat is also a philosophy of struggle, a silent protest." "Only when public grievances accumulate to a certain extent can the explosive effect be achieved." "A normal phenomenon before a violent storm."

Others said, "If you want to lie down flat, you have to lie down flat. Many people are driven crazy by mortgage loans all day long. How can they lie down flat? All kinds of real estate companies have exploded, all kinds of foreign companies have withdrawn, all kinds of involution, plus stability maintenance has been strengthened, and political factors are paramount. It feels like this country is like a train traveling in the dark, but the brakes are still out of order, and the future is uncertain! The only way to get out of this place of trouble and wrong as soon as possible is the best policy."
