Hamas terrorized Israel. The Chinese Communist Party appears to be "neutral", but it manipulates public opinion to applaud Hamas. It is reported that at least two Chinese people died in the terrorist attack and at least five people are missing. The CCP refused to confirm and blocked the news that the Chinese-Israeli girl was abducted.

The Islamic extremist organization Hamas raided Israel on 7 October 2023 and massacred and plundered Israeli civilians. A music festival in southern Israel was also attacked. Many foreign citizens in Israel were also killed or abducted.

While other countries continue to announce the casualties of their own citizens, the CCP has not mentioned a word whether any Chinese citizens in Israel have been killed or abducted.

At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China on 10 October 2023, a reporter asked about the murder of two Chinese workers in the southern Israeli border city of Sderot. Spokesperson Wang Wenbin responded that "China is continuing to verify and understand."

The news of the death of two Chinese people came from the French media "Le Monde". The media quoted a Jewish resident of Sderot on 8 October 2023 as saying that on his way home at around 7 am on the 7th, he saw a pickup truck carrying about 10 Hamas gunmen heading towards the Chinese on the road. Shooting began. After the Israeli troops retook Sderot that night, he passed by the shooting site again and saw four bodies put into body bags, two of which were Chinese.

He insisted that although Hamas had shot at the Chinese, the victims ended up dying under the butcher's knife of Hamas personnel.

On 10 October 2023, when the Chinese Communist Party media reported the content of the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they claimed that Wang Wenbin responded to "whether there is any new information about Chinese citizens who were injured or kidnapped during the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict." They did not mention the two Chinese nationals in Israel that lost their lives.

Party media said that when answering questions, Wang Wenbin emphasized how the CCP pays attention to "protecting the safety of Chinese citizens and institutions" and declared that "if any Chinese citizen voluntarily leaves (Israel) at this stage, China will fully provide assistance on the premise that safety is guaranteed." et cetera.

However, a Chinese girl in Israel broke the news online that she bought a ticket to return to CCP China after the conflict broke out, but Hainan Airlines suddenly canceled her scheduled flight. She contacted the Chinese Communist Embassy in Israel for help, and the reply she received was "find a way out on your own." .

At least five Chinese citizens are reported missing

The news about the killing of two Chinese workers in Le Monde is corroborated with the news revealed by local Chinese.

After Hamas attacked Israel, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Israel released news that three Chinese were shot on the 7th and four Chinese citizens were missing. These include the disappearance of three Chinese workers belonging to the same company in Sderot on the morning of the 7th, and the disappearance of a Chinese citizen in Ashkelon, another southern Israeli city, at night of 7 October.

In response to relevant news, the Chinese Communist Embassy in Israel’s reply to the Chinese media was also “under verification.”

According to information posted on Facebook by an account called "Chinatown Israel", at least five Chinese workers are missing in Sderot and Ashkelon. The account also published the names and photos of the five people, calling on netizens with information to help find their whereabouts.

The topic of the abduction of mixed-race girl amid the CCP’s ban

News of the killing or disappearance of the above-mentioned Chinese workers did not attract much attention on Chinese social media because of the CCP's intention to suppress the news. However, a video of a mixed-race girl being kidnapped by Hamas went viral on the Internet earlier. After foreign media confirmed her identity, it sparked heated discussions among Chinese netizens.

The official Weibo account of the Israeli Embassy in China also forwarded the video and said the girl was Noa, a 25-year-old Chinese-Israeli mixed-race child born in Beijing.

When Mao Ning, another spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China, was asked about Noya's situation, she also replied that she "doesn't know much about the specific situation" and is "still verifying the relevant information."

On 9 October 2023, the topic "Israel said a Chinese-Israeli mixed-race girl was kidnapped" that was once on the hot search list was blocked by Weibo. When searched, it showed these words "according to relevant laws and policies, the content of this topic is not displayed."

This topic once triggered many Chinese netizens to condemn Hamas's atrocities. However, there are also some CCP cyber forces and "little pinks" who excuse Hamas, claiming that Noa is an Israeli and has "nothing to do with China at all." Many Chinese netizens dug out posts by "patriots" that called the Chinese-American mixed-race Gu Ailing "a family" and mocked them as "schizophrenic."

The CCP manipulates public opinion to support Hamas

After Hamas attacked Israel, many "patriotic netizens" applauded Hamas for the CCP and attacked Israel. Even the self-media Niu Danqin, a subsidiary of the party media "Comprehensive breakthrough of the impregnable separation wall" will cause a huge "psychological shock" to the Israelis, etc.

The CCP has always maintained a "friendly" relationship with Hamas. The CCP’s “allies” Russia and Iran, as well as Syria, which has just established a “strategic partnership” with the CCP, are also supporters of Hamas. Earlier reports stated that Hamas used weapons "made by the Chinese Communist Party".

Public opinion generally doubts that the Chinese Communist Party may be behind Hamas's raid on Israel. Some analysts believe that the CCP hopes that something will happen in the Middle East to divert the attention of the United States, so that the CCP can reduce pressure in the Asia-Pacific region, which will be beneficial to the CCP's attack on Taiwan.

After the Palestinian militant organization Hamas raided Israel, the Chinese Communist Party did not condemn it. Many bloggers with official media backgrounds touted the effectiveness of Hamas's raids and mocked the Israeli intelligence agency as a "bastard." Some official media reposted a blog post saying, "If you touch me in the Taiwan Strait, I will touch you in Israel." Subsequently, the blog post was deleted. These signals have attracted attention from the outside world. At the same time, Xi Jinping’s previous three moves to closely engage with the Middle East are also suspicious.

CCP bloggers demoted Israel and said, "you dare to touch the Taiwan Strait, I will touch your Israel."

Hamas raided Israel and fired thousands of rockets. Armed personnel entered Israel and captured a large number of Israeli soldiers and civilians. The Israeli army counterattacked, causing heavy casualties on both sides.

As the West condemned Hamas’s attacks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China claimed on 8 October 2023 that it was “deeply concerned about the intensification of tensions and violence between Palestine and Israel” and called for an “immediate ceasefire.” However, it again mentioned the “two-state solution”, recommending the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Chinese Communist netizens show no pity towards Israel

On the Chinese Communist Internet, netizens generally speak out for Palestine, and most do not express sympathy for the Israeli civilian families held hostage by Palestine. The views of some bloggers with official backgrounds of the Chinese Communist Party have attracted attention. They talk about Israel's shortcomings, which is completely different from the position of democratic countries or the international community that generally condemns Hamas' terrorist attacks and sympathizes with Israel.

Hu Xijin attempts to stir chaos

Hu Xijin, former editor-in-chief of the Chinese Communist Party's official media "Global Times" said that more and more Arab countries are reconciling with Israel, and the United States is also promoting the normalization of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. The Palestinians cannot defeat Israel on their own. They need " Make a big fuss" and break the current pattern in the Middle East.

In the morning of 8 October 2023, he posted on Weibo that Hamas "attacked suddenly and powerfully"; the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and the U.S. CIA have both become "workers."

Chinese Communist echo "combat effectiveness of Hamas"

The Weibo account "Niutanqin", which is said to have a background in the official Xinhua News Agency, posted on 8 October 2023: "Israel has made two fatal mistakes." One is a serious omission in intelligence work, and the military's response was too slow. The article claimed that the raid "demonstrated the great vitality and combat effectiveness of Hamas."

CCP blog "CCP ready to counterattack the U.S. and attack Israel"

Ifeng.com published a blog article signed "Zhi Jian Ming Shi" on 7 October 2023, "If you touch me in the Taiwan Strait, I will touch you in Israel!" China will make breakthroughs in three aspects in Syria." The article accused the United States of its actions in the South China Sea and said that the United States has hindered Taiwan's "return" and China has endured it for long enough. "This time China is ready to counterattack the United States, establish close cooperation with Syria, and attack Israel, the American pawn."

Epoch Times reporters discovered that the Phoenix article had been deleted by the afternoon of 9 October 2023 but the same article still existed in Toutiao.

No media freedom in CCP China, CCP splits China

Su Ziyun, director of the National Defense Strategy and Resources Research Institute of the Taiwan Institute of National Defense and Security, told The Epoch Times on 9 October 2023 that there is no media freedom in China. These bloggers are just official mouthpieces. What they lack most is the spirit of humanity. However, the Taiwan issue is different from the Palestinian issue. "Taiwan is the Republic of China and has long been an independent and sovereign country. The CCP is the culprit of splitting China."

Feng Chiongyi: CCP has no principles

Feng Chongyi, associate professor at the University of Technology, Sydney, told The Epoch Times on 9 October that the Chinese Communist regime has no principles. At any time, it depends on what words are more beneficial to it. It must maintain a neutral stance to seek benefits from it, and fFolk followers have no standards of right and wrong, good and evil. "They are afraid that the world will not be in chaos. The international order is now dominated by the United States. The more chaos, the better. This is their mentality. This mentality is the result of the confusion of the rulers."

Analysis: Hamas’s desperate act is a dangerous “reference” for the CCP’s invasion of Taiwan

Writer and independent commentator Cai Shenkun told The Epoch Times on 9 October 2023 that although there is not much evidence to prove the depth of the CCP's involvement, he believes that Hamas's launch of this war was definitely not a whim, but was carefully prepared. " And I think that in a sense, this is a large-scale risky attempt, and this attempt can serve as a great reference for the Chinese Communist Party’s invasion of Taiwan.”

“If you think about it, Hamas was able to prepare thousands of rockets in such a short period of time in a place as small as Gaza, and with the entire arms embargo, and even a large number of drones flying to the area with bombs. More importantly, these armed men rushed into Israel from different places - from the sea, the air, and land at the same time. I think there is definitely a greater force behind it, and this force is definitely not just Iran but one family, I believe China and Russia both played a role in this."

Image : On 7 October 2023, Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted rockets launched by Palestinian militants from Gaza City. The clashes were the bloodiest escalation in the wider conflict since May 2021, with hundreds of people injured on both sides. (Mohammed Abed/AFP via Getty Images)

Cai Shenkun said that the CCP may have seen from the success of Hamas's raid how to deal with Taiwan next, which is very worthy of attention. Now these Internet influencers may be trying to figure out the official intentions of the Chinese Communist government.

"Because the chaos in Israel and the entire Middle East will affect the U.S. strategy in the Indo-Pacific or its greater role in the Taiwan Strait, it will cause Western countries to distract their energy. Once the CCP decides to use force to regain Taiwan, then Western countries cannot move at all. If the crisis in the Middle East and the war crisis between Russia and Ukraine cannot be resolved well, there will soon be a major risk of war."

Xi Jinping’s three actions beforehand attracts attention

Before Hamas's raid on Israel, Xi Jinping had had contacts with Palestine, Iran and Syria since June 2023.

Xi Jinping met with Palestinian President Abbas in Beijing on June 14. During the meeting, the support for Palestine was overwhelming. Xi stressed that China was one of the first countries to recognize the state of Palestine. He also said that CCP China "has always firmly supported the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights and promote an early comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue." At that time, CCP China and Pakistan announced the establishment of a "strategic partnership."

In the morning of 24 August 2023, Xi Jinping met with Iranian President Raisi during the BRICS Summit in Johannesburg. At the summit, the CCP supported Iran in becoming a formal member of the BRICS.

At the opening of the Hangzhou Asian Games, which just concluded on October 9, the CCP made a high-profile invitation to Syria’s Assad to attend the opening ceremony and transported him there on a special plane. Assad has always been considered a die-hard supporter of Palestine.

CCP needs to make it clear whether it supports Palestine or terrorism

Su Ziyun, director of the Institute of Defense Strategy and Resources at Taiwan's Institute of National Defense and Security, told The Epoch Times on 9 October 2023 that Xi Jinping's three actions may be indirectly related to Hamas's attack on Israel.

"The Palestinian Abbas government has gained certain recognition internationally. He went to Beijing to meet with Xi Jinping to establish a strategic partnership; the armed attacks organized by Hamas are different from those of the Abbas government, so what is Xi Jinping doing? Beijing has to make it clear whether it supports Palestine or extremist violent organizations."

News (16)

Suspicion over the source of Hamas rockets

He said that the international community is now more suspicious of whether the rockets owned by Hamas are indirectly supported by the CCP. Because German media once reported that Hamas rockets are made in China. If it is not made in China, has China provided assistance to Hamas in terms of raw materials?

Regarding the so-called "support for the just cause of Palestine" mentioned by Xi Jinping, Cai Shenkun said that it actually refers to the war against Israel and there is no other "just cause".

News (17)

The world needs to look into the role of CCP China behind Iran

He believes that the international community is not very clear about what Xi Jinping discussed when he met with the Iranian president in August. "Because CCP China has a large amount of arms production capacity in Iran, Iran has provided a large amount of military equipment to Russia in the past, but Iran's own arms production capacity alone is actually far from enough. What is the role of CCP China in this regard? What role did it play? It’s worth watching.”

CCP media used Syrian video to spread rumours that "Israel used white phosphorus bombs to attack Gaza"

党媒用叙利亚视频 造谣“以色列用白磷弹攻加沙”

Hamas carried out terrorist attacks on Israel, and the Chinese Communist Party’s official media provided public opinion support for it. Palestinian social media used old Syrian videos to falsely claim that "Israel used white phosphorus bombs in Gaza," and the Chinese Communist Party media also followed suit and spread rumours.

On 10 October 2023, the official media account "China Live", owned by the Information Office of the Communist Party of China and the Cyberspace Administration of China, posted on Weibo, claiming that according to a report from "Overseas Network", the official overseas website of the People's Daily, "Israel is accused of having a dense population in Gaza." The use of white phosphorus bombs prohibited by international law in the region.”

"China Live" also distributed a video edited and produced by itself to accuse "Israel of using white phosphorus bombs." The video used two video clips of what appeared to be white phosphorus bombs landing on the ground.

NTDTV reporters found that at least one of the video clips was shot in Syria in the early years.

Image : Screenshot of a video clip from "China Live Broadcast".

Image : Screenshot of a video of Russian warplanes dropping white phosphorus bombs on Syria in 2016.

In June 2016, Russian warplanes were accused of dropping white phosphorus bombs in Aleppo, Syria's second largest city, killing at least two children and injuring six civilians. This move triggered international condemnation. Phosphorus is an incendiary, toxic chemical banned by international treaties, and the use of white phosphorus bombs constitutes a war crime.

One of the video clips used in the "China Live" video is exactly the scene where Russia dropped white phosphorus bombs in Aleppo.

The official Weibo account of "China Live" is mostly Chinese netizens, many of whom are unable to "climb over the wall" to obtain real information outside the wall.

Information about "Israel's use of white phosphorus bombs in Gaza" originally came from overseas social media such as X Platform (formerly Twitter). Many accounts tagged "Palestine" spread a large number of videos and photos, accusing "Israel of throwing white phosphorus bombs." Another video they widely used was also from the scene where Russia dropped white phosphorus bombs in Aleppo.

Image : Another video on overseas social media accusing "Israel of using white phosphorus bombs" was also a picture of Russian fighter jets dropping white phosphorus bombs in Syria. (Video screenshot)

Many social media accounts posted articles exposing these fake news, pointing out that most of the so-called "Israel's use of white phosphorus bombs" photos circulating on the Internet were taken in Syria in the early years.

In addition to using white phosphorus bombs to harm civilians in Syria, China’s “ally” Russia has also been accused of using white phosphorus bombs on the battlefield in Ukraine. A large number of related videos are also circulating on the Internet.

After Hamas raided Israel on 7 October, the CCP’s response was exactly the same as that after the Russia-Ukraine war. That is, while publicly declaring “neutrality”, it used the excuse of “political solution to the problem” to favour Hamas, and at the same time manipulated public opinion in favour of Hamas.

Hamas raided Israel that day. In addition to attacking military facilities, it also massacred and robbed Israeli civilians. The latest news shows that at least one village in southern Israel was massacred, and even women and children were beheaded. After Israel retaliated with air strikes on Gaza, Hamas began to massacre the Israeli hostages it had just captured, threatening Israel to stop.

Ma Ying-jeou: Cross-Strait issues cannot be left to foreign countries. He does not want the United States to be involved in another Russian-Ukrainian war

Former President Ma Ying-jeou pointed out in his speech at the "2023 Asia Foresight Summit" in Singapore today that Singapore's founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew inspired him a lot on his cross-strait policy, including the realization that Taiwan independence is a non-starter and cross-strait issues cannot be resolved. Instead of relying on foreign countries to solve the problem, only cross-strait peace can ensure regional stability and world peace.

Ma Ying-jeou emphasized that he very much agreed with Lee Kuan Yew's wisdom and insights. After leaving office as president, he also expressed many times in Taiwan that cross-strait issues cannot be solved by foreign countries, and it is impossible to ask other countries to sacrifice their own children for Taiwan. This is unrealistic. Yes, and it shouldn't be.

Ma Ying-jeou also said that for foreign governments like the United States that have long supported Taiwan, Taiwan will not want to involve them in another Russia-Ukraine war. He believes that if foreign governments want the stable development of cross-strait relations, the best way is to encourage cross-strait relations. Only through active dialogue and exchanges between the two sides can war in the Taiwan Strait be avoided. Cross-Strait relations must be maintained in a peaceful manner. The means of war are the most unwise. The victims are all descendants of the Chinese nation, and the consequences will be unbearable for both sides.

Ma Ying-jeou told those present that during his eight years in power, both sides of the Taiwan Strait agreed to the "1992 Consensus" and established mutual trust on this common political basis and launched all-round exchanges to bring mutual benefit to the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. However, what is disappointing is that After the Democratic Progressive Party came to power, cross-Strait relations deteriorated rapidly because they did not agree with the "1992 Consensus." President Tsai Ing-wen even proposed the statement that "the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China are not affiliated with each other" two years ago, which seemed like "a new two countries." "Theory" seriously endangered the peace and stability of cross-Strait relations, and made the eight years of laying the foundation for cross-Strait exchanges in vain. The Tsai administration even used "Taiwan National Day" on the National Day of the Republic of China for three consecutive years. This is an out-and-out "Taiwan independence" line, so he announced his refusal to attend this year and firmly opposed "Taiwan independence."

Ma Ying-jeou attended the "2023 Asia Foresight Summit" this afternoon and talked with Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat and former Australian Prime Minister Howard. The three met for half an hour before the meeting and had a good conversation.

In his speech, Ma Ying-jeou pointed out that Lee Kuan Yew was very concerned about cross-Strait relations and actively promoted the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations. In particular, the "Ku-Wang Talks" held in Singapore in April 1993, which were held after the "1992 Consensus" was reached, were a milestone in the history of cross-Strait relations. Milestone. From that time on, he realized that Lee Kuan Yew had an extremely strong sense of mission to promote peaceful development across the Taiwan Strait, and also contribute to the security and stability of Asia and the world. Lee Kuan Yew's views resonated extremely strongly with him, and he became a Later, when he became president, an important criterion for governing cross-Strait relations was that the development of cross-Strait relations must be based on the well-being and interests of the people.

Ma Ying-jeou pointed out that during Lee Kuan Yew's last visit to Taiwan in March 2011, he affirmed his cross-strait policy in person, which was beneficial to Taiwan and the region. Facts have proved that during his eight years in power, cross-strait was the most peaceful, stable and prosperous period, and it is by no means the same period in 2021. In 2006, the British "Economist" magazine called it "the most dangerous place in the world", and Lee Kuan Yew's last book "Lee Kuan Yew Views the World" specifically named it and affirmed that he clearly realized that the road to Taiwan's independence was impassable, and cross-strait relations must be stable, as this is beneficial to the world, and Lee Kuan Yew believes that once Taiwan declares independence, China will invade Taiwan with force, and the United States will not go to war with China for Taiwan's independence.

Ma Ying-jeou emphasized that the "1992 Consensus" is the only solution to cross-Strait peace. To break the current deadlock between the two sides, only by returning to the common political basis of the "1992 Consensus" and engaging in dialogue and exchanges can war be avoided and mutual benefits continue to be created in a win-win situation.

Ma has attended the "Asia Foresight Summit" as a negotiator and led his classmates to visit important construction projects in Singapore and communicated with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

Ma Ying-jeou was invited by Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao Group to attend the Asia Future Summit and serve as a negotiator to commemorate Mr. Lee Kuan Yew's significant contribution to promoting cross-strait peace.

The Ma Office pointed out that Lee Kuan Yew built Singapore into a first-class country in the world. The Kuomintang held a National Day flag-raising ceremony on 10 October 2023 in the square in front of the Central Party Headquarters. In addition to presidential candidate Hou You-ih, party chairman Zhu Lilun, and party legislators, former president Ma Ying-jeou also attended. In his speech, Ma Ying-jeou said that President Tsai Ing-wen turned the National Day of the Republic of China into the National Day of Taiwan, which is an out-and-out Taiwan independence line. Therefore, he refused to attend the flag-raising ceremony at the Presidential Palace and called on the people present to vote for the KMT president. The man Hou You-ih asked him to lead everyone to celebrate the National Day in front of the house next year.

Ma Ying-jeou pointed out that today is the 112th National Day of the founding of the Republic of China. Our party is the founding and founding party. It is of great significance for everyone to gather in front of the Central Party Headquarters to raise the flag. "In the past 40 years, no matter what job I have held, I have attended the presidential office every year. I never miss the National Day gathering held before because I love the Republic of China."

However, the year before last, Tsai Ing-wen changed the English version of National Day to "Taiwan National Day." Ma Ying-jeou said, "There is no problem that Taiwan is our home, but the Republic of China is the name of our country!" Tsai Ing-wen changed the name of the National Day of the Republic of China to "Taiwan National Day." It has become Taiwan’s National Day. This is an out-and-out Taiwan independence line. It not only misleads the Taiwanese people, but also puts Taiwan into a dangerous situation.

Ma Ying-jeou criticized that this approach includes President Tsai Ing-wen's new two-nation theory, in which the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China are not affiliated with each other. This violates the provisions of the Constitution and Tsai Ing-wen's two commitments to the people across the country to abide by the Constitution. Such an approach is unconstitutional and in vain to care about the welfare of the people.

"For the sake of Taiwan's security and the future of our descendants, I refuse to attend Taiwan's National Day ceremony this year!" Ma Ying-jeou said. He refused to endorse such a move that would harm the Republic of China and smuggle Taiwan into independence.

Ma Ying-jeou said that Taiwan independence violates the Constitution of the Republic of China, and countries friendly to Taiwan such as the United States and Japan do not support it. After the Tsai administration took office for the second time, Foreign Minister Joseph Wu gave a speech at a U.S. think tank seminar, confirming that the government is promoting "name rectification."

Ma Ying-jeou emphasized, "I call on everyone who loves the Republic of China to reject such a wrong line of Taiwan independence, and use their votes to remove a government that violates the Constitution and ignores people's security in the presidential election next January." I hope to be able to do so in October next year. Under the leadership of Hou You-ih, the National Day was celebrated in front of the Presidential Palace. It is the general trend of history."

The Republic of China National Day Convention was held in front of the Presidential Palace on 10 October 2023. Former President Ma Ying-jeou launched an attack on Facebook a few days ago, angrily criticizing the Tsai administration for changing the English name of National Day to "Taiwan National Day", which is tantamount to smuggling "Taiwan independence", refused to participate in this year’s National Day Convention, and the big names in the blue camp also expressed their support and did not attend. Chen Binhua, spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of China, said at a regular press conference on 11 October, "We appreciate the clear attitude of Mr. Ma Ying-jeou and other people from all walks of life on the island in opposing "Taiwan independence."

Ma Ying-jeou said in an interview  on 10 October that in the past 40 years, no matter what position he held, he would always attend the National Day Celebration at the Presidential Palace. This year he did not go to the Presidential Palace. He was very sad because he did not endorse the Taiwan independence route that takes a roundabout way to smuggle. He also criticized President Tsai's turning the National Day of the Republic of China into the National Day of Taiwan, which is an out-and-out Taiwan independence line.

In response, Chen Binhua said, "We appreciate the clear attitude of Mr. Ma Ying-jeou and other people from all walks of life on the island in opposing "Taiwan independence." In recent years, the DPP authorities have frequently staged political farces with "Taiwan independence" activists, that will only harm peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait. It will only make the world more aware of their undying desire for independence."

Chen Binhua emphasized, "No matter how hard the DPP authorities and the Taiwan independence separatist forces try and make small moves, they can't change the fact that both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to one China and Taiwan is part of China, nor can they stop the historical trend that the motherland must and will inevitably be reunified."

Ma is dissatisfied with the disappearance of the Republic of China. Akio Yaita: Ma has double standards. He has never protested against CCP China

Former President Ma Ying-jeou announced on 2 October 2023 that he would not attend this year’s National Day Convention, emphasizing that Tsai Ing-wen’s government had changed the English name of National Day to “Taiwan National Day” starting from the year before last. He comments it is like endorsing the "twisting path to Taiwan independence". In this regard, senior media person Akio Yaita questioned on Facebook that Ma Ying-jeou went to Nanjing to visit the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The content on the nearby stone pillars directly cursed the demise of the Republic of China but he did not see Ma Ying-jeou expressing any protest against China.

Akio Yaita said that Ma Ying-jeou has always advocated "defending the Republic of China." When he saw the Tsai administration changing the name of the Republic of China to Taiwan, it was understandable that he felt offended. However, Ma Ying-jeou had some double standards when defending the Republic of China. Akio Yaita gave an example, "In March, Ma Ying-jeou went to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing to visit the mausoleum stone. There was a stone pillar in the Ten Dynasties Historical and Cultural Park near the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum with the words "Republic of China, 1912-1949 AD" engraved on it, directly cursing the demise of the Republic of China but I have not heard that Ma Ying-jeou expressed any protest to China."

Akio Yaita pointed out that CCP China has always scoffed at the "one China, each interpretation" that the Kuomintang has always advocated, and has not looked at it seriously. Ma Ying-jeou has not taken it seriously and has compromised; but for the Tsai administration, it only changed the English name of the Republic of China to "Taiwan". Why can't it be tolerated?

Akio Yaita mentioned that many people in Taiwan, like Ma Ying-jeou, like the word "Republic of China", but there are also many people who prefer the name "Taiwan" for historical reasons. Tsai Ing-wen, as the "President of the whole people", has proposed the concept of "Taiwan, the Republic of China". This was a compromise term in the hope of reuniting the divided ethnic groups.

Yaita Akio believes that in recent years, Tsai Ing-wen and Vice President Lai Ching-te can also be seen actively using the national flag totem, as well as the Republic of China. Of course, they sometimes emphasize the concept of Taiwan. Neither the international community nor mainstream public opinion in Taiwan believes that this is the case. If it is Taiwan independence, a country’s independence movement needs to promote a referendum and amend the constitution.

Finally, Akio Yaita said: "President Ma's statement has received enthusiastic support among some pan-blue groups. It is regrettable to see that Taiwan's social opposition has become more acute and the wounds of ethnic division have become deeper."

Former President Ma Ying-jeou protested against the English writing of National Day as Taiwan National Day, which means Taiwan’s National Day. It violates the Constitution of the Republic of China and is an out-and-out Taiwan independence line. For this reason, he announced his refusal to attend this year’s National Day. ceremony, in response to this, Guo Beihong, the leader of the Taiwanese faction, severely criticized Ma Ying-jeou for being unconventional and pro-Chinese Communist.

Kaohsiung City District 6 Legislative Candidate and Chairman of the Happy Island Alliance Guo Beihong pointed out that the Constitution of the Republic of China has long been outdated. Ma Ying-jeou’s remarks highlight that the Kuomintang is still in the old days and only has an ideology of pro-China and flattery in its heart. It has no respect for the people of Taiwan. The sovereign will to be the master of the country.

Guo Beihong said that Ma Ying-jeou criticized the Tsai government for using Taiwan National Day from 2021, "Then why did Ma Ying-jeou not withdraw from the meeting in protest in the past two years?" He pointed out that this was Ma's "old symptom" because this year is an election year. At this time, the onset of the disease was nothing more than political self-interest. His intentions were clearly visible to all Taiwanese!

Guo Beihong said that the Constitution of the Republic of China quoted by Ma Ying-jeou still regards Outer Mongolia (independent Mongolia) as Taiwan's territory, and it has long been outdated and unusable. If Taiwan wants to celebrate its birthday in a legitimate way, it must formulate a new constitution to implement the sovereignty of the Taiwanese people. There is no need to accommodate the "Chinese Constitution" formulated by the old National Congress. Upholding Taiwan's national sovereignty is the only choice for the Taiwanese people to have democracy, freedom and security in the future.
