Yao Cheng: Hamas weapons and funding come from three sources, with the CCP benefiting the most

姚诚:哈马斯武器和经费有三来源 中共获利最大

The Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas raided Israel, causing a large number of casualties and attracting world attention. Yao Cheng, former Lieutenant Colonel of the Chinese Communist Party’s Naval Command, analyzed that there are three major sources of weapons and funding for Hamas, and the CCP has benefited the most from the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

Yao Cheng tweeted on 9 October 2023 to analyze why Hamas suddenly had so many weapons, ammunition and funds. At present, there should be three sources: First, Iran provided them, especially drones, which Biden thawed. Iran’s $6 billion gives Iran enough funds to purchase weapons and equipment from the CCP to provide to Hamas;

Second, the United States left behind a large amount of equipment when it hastily withdrew its troops from Afghanistan. Some of these equipment will be given to Hamas by the Taliban;

The third reason is why the CCP received Syrian President Assad with high standards during the Asian Games. I believe it also provided some economic assistance in private, which gave Syria a certain financial ability to assist Hamas.

Yao Cheng said, "Hamas caught Israel by surprise this time. It has gone through long-term preparation and training. It is impossible without foreign aid, so the real driving force behind the scenes should be the Chinese Communist Party. Judging from the purpose of this war, the CCP gains the most. It also engaged in a proxy war and dispersed the deployment of US military forces."

News (2)

The role the CCP plays in the Israel-Palestine has aroused public attention

Hamas launched a massive attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, launching nearly 5,000 rockets and missiles at once and breaking into Israeli military camps, which surprised the outside world. A fierce war suddenly breaks out between Israel and Palestine. Who is behind the scenes and what role the CCP plays in it has aroused the attention of observers.

According to mainland Chinese media, the rocket launched by Hamas this time was not the low-end "Kasan" rocket it made before, but a multiple rocket launcher system and rockets with unified specifications that are closer to those used by regular troops, which can break through the "Iron Dome" of Israeli air defenses.

News (3)

It is suspected CCP exports rocket launchers indirectly to Hamas

The article stated that the Chinese Communist Party is “the army with the least shortage of suppressive firepower such as rocket launchers in the world.” “The multiple rocket launchers used by Hamas armed forces this time may be low-end products that we disdain, breaking through the ‘Iron Dome’  and the interception is just easy."

Current affairs commentator Zhou Xiaohui wrote an article in The Epoch Times and pointed out that the mainland media’s self-promotion shows that there should be help from the CCP behind Hamas.

News (4)

Hamas has colluded with CCP for a long time, Israel found Hamas' "Made in China" rockets

Zhou Xiaohui said that Hamas has been colluding with the CCP for a long time, and the CCP is Hamas’s largest financial backer. In 2009, a German media published an article "Hamas Rockets Made in China", saying that although the Chinese Communist regime called for condemnation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip and called for restraint and ceasefire on both sides, Beijing did not directly criticize Hamas. Israel found that terrorists had " "Made in China" rockets.

News (5)

Communist Chinese banks help Hamas transfer funds

In 2006, a France-based intelligence agency stated that there was cooperation between the CCP and Hamas, and that Hamas’s foreign minister visited Beijing. In addition, Chinese banks have also helped Hamas transfer funds. Zhou Xiaohui said that it is not surprising that the relationship between the CCP and Hamas continues to this day. Therefore, it is a very reasonable inference that the CCP is behind Hamas’s raid on Israel.

News (6)

CCP avoids direct military aid to Russia and Hamas

During the Russia-Ukraine war, the CCP tried its best to avoid directly assisting Russia with important weapons, but secretly assisted Russia through Iran, North Korea, and Central Asian countries. The Chinese Communist Party’s military aid to Hamas is also very likely to pass through third countries, such as Iran and Syria.

News (7)

Syria as hub of weaponry exports to Palestine, Iran and Syria are close to CCP

As early as 2014, Israel intercepted a civilian cargo ship carrying 40 M-302 rockets in the Red Sea near Port Sudan. The origin of this batch of weapons is Syria and the destination is Gaza.

In addition, while Western countries are condemning Hamas' terrorist attacks, Iran and Syria have made no secret of their support for Hamas, and these two countries and Palestine have close relations with the CCP.

After the attack, Israel expected China to condemn Hamas more strongly. The Israeli Embassy in China tweeted: "We also hope that China can provide solidarity and support to Israel at this difficult time for Israel."

News (8)

CCP reiterates call for "two-state solution", does not designate Hamas as terriorist organization

But China only claimed that it was "deeply concerned about the intensification of tensions and violence between Palestine and Israel" and called for an "immediate ceasefire." China has not designated Hamas as a terrorist organization, and has reiterated the "two-state solution" and called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

News (9)

Commentator: Israel's past military aid to CCP does not guarantee CCP supports Israel, CCP stirs chaos in the Middle East

Independent commentator Cai Shenkun said on X on 8 October 2023 that Israel thought that if it had provided a large amount of defense technology to the CCP over the past few years, the CCP would change its stance towards Israel. "In fact, this is a big mistake. An open, free, strong, and prosperous Israel does not conform to China's geopolitical vision. The long-term chaos in the Middle East is conducive to China's game with the West. Just like the North Korean card, it can be played at any time. You can take them out and fight them, causing headaches for neighboring countries and even Western countries."

News (10)

The reasons the CCP is disrupting the Middle East, the world must eliminate CCP

Why is Hamas obeying the Communist Party of China at this time and jumping out to disrupt the Middle East? Zhou Xiaohui believes that there are two reasons: First, Saudi Arabia, a major country in the Middle East, intends to establish diplomatic relations with Israel thanks to the efforts of the United States. This is certainly not good news for the CCP, which has been wooing Saudi Arabia and meddling in the Middle East. The CCP hopes to undermine the establishment of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel through Hamas’ actions;

The second is to solve problems for the CCP. On the surface, Iran supports Hamas, but because the CCP is behind Iran, and the CCP has been colluding with Hamas for a long time, Hamas is in crisis inside and outside the CCP and facing world encirclement and suppression, and is provoking a new war in the Middle East. It is impossible not to think about it.

Zhou Xiaohui said that provoking disputes in the Middle East and other places diverts the attention of the United States, diverts the world's attention from the CCP, involves the energy of the United States, and weakens the United States' suppression of the CCP. This has always been the CCP's specialty. Regarding the ghost of the Chinese Communist Party behind Hamas, the United States, Europe and the world must be vigilant and not divert their attention. "Destroying the Communist Party" is the top priority. Because the world will not stop until the CCP is eliminated. Once the CCP is eliminated, terrorists in many parts of the world, including Hamas, will no longer be able to cause trouble.

CCP Chinese President Xi Jinping received the visiting U.S. Senate Majority Leader Schumer (Democratic Party) on 9 October 2023. Hong Kong media claimed that this was the strongest signal of Xi’s possible participation in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Summit in San Francisco in November 2023. Bloomberg said Xi’s first meeting with the U.S. congressional leader in eight years was tense and he was questioned over CCP China’s failure to condemn the Palestinian militant group Hamas’ invasion of Israel.

A cross-party Senate delegation led by Schumer arrived in CCP China for a visit on the 7th, met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi earlier on the 9th, and met with Xi Jinping in the afternoon. In his opening remarks, Xi Jinping did not mention the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but expressed his hope for mutual respect and peaceful coexistence between CCP China and the United States. Xinhua News Agency reported that Xi Jinping said that China-US relations are the most important bilateral relations in the world. How China and the United States get along determines the future and destiny of mankind; CCP China has always believed that the common interests of China and the United States far outweigh their differences, and that their respective successes are opportunities, not challenges, to each other.

Schumer told Xi Jinping: "I urge you and the Chinese people to stand with the Israeli people and condemn the cowardly and vicious attacks on them." When Schumer met with Wang Yi, he also told the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs that "in this difficult and turbulent time period, CCP China did not show sympathy or support for Israel," he said, "he is very disappointed."

News (12)

Israel’s minister also urged CCP China to condemn Hamas

Yuval Waks, the minister of the Israeli Embassy in China, said on 8 October 2023 that Israel regards CCP China as a friend and hopes to see CCP China's stronger condemnation of Hamas, and now is not the time to call for a "two-state solution." In response, Chinese Communist Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning did not respond directly on 9 October 2023. She only emphasizes that China (CCP) is "a common friend of Israel and Palestine" and the most important thing at the moment is to achieve a ceasefire as soon as possible.

Schumer and his delegation are the first visit to CCP China by members of the U.S. Congress since 2019. The delegation consists of six members, divided equally between Democrats and Republicans. The South China Morning Post pointed out that this visit will help lay the foundation for Xi Jinping's possible attendance at the APEC summit, and it is expected that Xi Jinping and US President Biden will meet. The report quoted Lu Xiang, an expert on American issues at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, saying that this unexpected meeting reversed the communication mechanism that had been stagnant for many years between the U.S. Congress and China. Although Congress has relatively little power in foreign policy, it is hoped that Schumer can personally understand China's intentions and convey them to Congress, that "is of positive significance."

Wu Muluan, associate professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, believes that the meeting between Xi Jinping and Schumer does not guarantee that Xi Jinping will definitely meet with Biden but it is very likely.

Polish president worries that diverting international attention could benefit Russia's invasion of Ukraine

Israel was raided by the Palestinian radical organization "Hamas", and Israel declared war on Hamas in anger. The American think tank "Institute for the Study of War" (ISW) warned on the 8th that Russia has already started and will soon may continue to use Hamas' attacks in Israel to strengthen information warfare to weaken the United States and the West's support and attention to Ukraine. Polish President Duda also pointed out on 8 October that the conflict between Hamas and Israel is beneficial to Russia because it diverts the international community's attention from Russia's invasion of Ukraine and may bring new immigration pressure to Europe.

ISW pointed out that after Hamas raided Israel on 7 October, Russia vigorously promoted its opposition to Western interference in Ukraine, dampened the morale of Ukrainians, and assured the Russian people that the international community's attention would turn to the crisis in the Middle East and no longer focus on Ukraine.

Well-known Russian TV host Sergey Mardan claimed that Russia will benefit from the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and that the West will temporarily turn its attention away from Ukraine and be busy putting out the war in the Middle East. In addition, former Russian President and current Deputy Chairman of the Federal Security Council Medvedev also claimed that the United States and its allies should "focus" on the "Israeli-Palestinian solution" instead of "interfering" in Russian affairs and provide military assistance to Ukraine.

Russian information war destroys Ukrainian morale

ISW emphasized that the Kremlin's statements are aimed at Western audiences to weaken support for Ukraine from all parties, and seek to demoralize Ukraine by claiming that Ukraine will lose international support. It also attempts to reassure the Russian public that the international community Ukraine’s efforts to regain its lost territory will be ignored.

The Republic of China President Tsai Ing-wen delivered a National Day speech on 10 October 2023, with the theme of "Confidence and stability, the country moving forward, and making the world a better place because of Taiwan." In addition to reviewing the political achievements over the past seven years, and the launch of the first domestically-made submarine. In addition to taking a big step towards national defense independence, President Tsai emphasized that the Republic of China, Taiwan have become the mainstream consensus, and peace is the only option for both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Maintaining the status quo as the greatest common denominator for all parties is one of the keys to ensuring peace. We are willing to use reciprocity and dignity as the premise, democratic dialogue as the process, and maintenance of the status quo as the core to develop a mutually acceptable basis for interaction with the Beijing authorities and a way to peaceful coexistence.

Tsai Ing-wen pointed out that after 30 years, presidents from different political parties have wanted to realize the "domestic production of submarines." She said, "The first prototype ship was launched at the end of last month. After completing follow-up tests, the "Hai Kun warship" is expected to be officially put into service in 2025. It took incomparable courage to realize and take this step, but we finally did it. We took another big step towards national defense independence, the national military's asymmetric combat power increased again, and we once again demonstrated our determination to protect Taiwan, the Republic of China. This is exactly the Republic of China is based on the spirit that has made Taiwan stand firm for 74 years; facing the special international situation and ever-changing challenges. If we do not move forward, we will retreat; if we do not work hard, we will not be able to control our own future and destiny."

Tsai Ing-wen also thanked the people of Taiwan for implementing reforms despite difficult challenges. She said that the international and regional political and economic situations are complex and ever-changing, coupled with the century-old pandemic and extreme climate. She has never forgotten her commitment to reforms and is fully aware of the consequences of reforms. Conflicts and pains, thanks to the unity and tolerance of the Chinese people, so that various reforms can be gradually implemented, including marriage equality, pension reform, minimum wage law draft, etc.; Tsai will also reiterate that the target of 200,000 social housing units in 8 years will be in 2024 The target will be met by the end of the year and we will continue to move towards the goal of "2050 net-zero transformation." Taiwan's renewable energy development, energy storage network construction, and grid resilience enhancement can only be done quickly, not slowly, and we cannot go back.

Tsai Ing-wen explained that the government has made every effort to strengthen the country, ensure national security, stabilize the cross-strait situation, promote the "six core strategic industries", invest in infrastructure construction, etc. to drive the transformation and upgrading of domestic industries, becoming a key force driving the restructuring of the global supply chain. She said, "As the Republic of China's national strength has become stronger, we have reversed our over-reliance on the single market. Our exports to the United States have doubled, and we have signed the first batch of agreements with the United States under the "Taiwan-U.S. 21st Century Trade Initiative." Export trade has hit a record high, and it has also strengthened its ties with Europe. The EU is now Taiwan's largest source of foreign investment. We use our economic strength to prove to the world that Taiwan's irreplaceable importance is there.

Tsai Ing-wen emphasized that since 2016, the Tsai Ing-wen government has always kept its promises, maintained the status quo, adhered to the "four insistences", was not provocative, not aggressive, and did not yield under pressure, and deepened cooperation with democratic countries around the world to jointly maintain regional peace. It is stable, it also contributes good to the world. Taiwan's democratic achievements have become a benchmark for the world. Taiwan's unshakable standing is undoubtedly the greatest guarantee for the sustainable development of global democracy, security and prosperity. "Taiwan is now "Taiwan of the world", at this moment, we can face the world confidently and firmly; we can also face China more confidently and calmly, and create conditions for peaceful coexistence between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait for future development.

Tsai Ing-wen emphasized that as president, her responsibility is to protect the country's sovereignty and the democratic and free way of life of the 23 million Taiwanese people, and at the same time seek peaceful coexistence between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait so that people can communicate freely, unfettered, and unburdened; Let Taiwan, and even both sides of the Taiwan Strait, become a contributor to regional peace and stability. "Peace is the only option for both sides of the Strait. Maintaining the status quo as the greatest common denominator for all parties is the key to ensuring peace." This is recognized by the whole world. Peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait are an indispensable element for the security and prosperity of the international community; no party can unilaterally change the status quo; cross-strait differences must be resolved through peaceful means, so we must continue to work hard to ensure sovereignty, democracy and freedom while respecting the historical facts, we will continue to build peaceful and stable cross-strait relations."

Tsai Ing-wen said that political party competition is an everyday part of democratic politics, but the fact that we are gathered here today is the rare democratic scenery of Taiwan. She sincerely hopes that after the election, we can put aside our passions, and Taiwan can seek greater consensus within the country, unite as one, and externally. Unity is a common responsibility to the country regardless of political parties.

Tsai Ing-wen said, "We are willing to use Taiwan's public consensus as the basis, reciprocity and dignity as the premise, democratic dialogue as the process, and maintaining the status quo as the core to develop a mutually acceptable basis for interaction with the Beijing authorities and a way to peaceful coexistence. ." We firmly believe that the international community's support for Taiwan will only get stronger and stronger. We must seize opportunities, control risks, and make both sides of the Taiwan Strait an important contributor to regional peace and stability. This is the ruling and opposition parties in Taiwan, as well as the relationship between the two sides based on historical responsibility and common mission.

Tsai Ing-wen said that whether it was the 823 Battle 65 years ago or the challenges faced by external threats today, we have always held the belief that we will live on the same island regardless of each other. Today, the "the Republic of China, Taiwan" has become 23 million people. The mainstream consensus of the people brings together the historical sentiments of different ethnic groups and the realization that we have shared weal and woe over the past 74 years. It also represents that we will be willing to get closer to each other and create the greatest success in order to unite, protect the country, and defend democratic and free life. As a common denominator, Taiwan's democracy has grown and thrived amidst tremendous internal and external pressures, thus developing stronger resilience.

Since this is the last National Day speech during her term, Tsai Ing-wen specifically expressed her gratitude to the people of Taiwan for giving Tsai Ing-wen two opportunities to serve as President of the Republic of China and work hard with the Taiwanese people. She is filled with infinite gratitude. In the past few years, there have been some achievements in governance, but there are also some unsatisfactory results. As the president, it is unshirkable. This is a democratic country. Those in power cannot be complacent. Any governance must satisfy more people. That is, the government will never end. As for the goal of efforts, "Tsai Ing-wen's term will stop at 520 next year, but the country must continue to move forward. I believe that Taiwan, which is confident and steady, will continue to move forward. We must not only give the world a better Taiwan, but also make the world because of democracy Taiwan is better. Come on, Taiwan! Come on, the Republic of China!"
