The catastrophe is coming again. Can the CCP escape this time?

The CCP is facing a disaster! Will the forces within the party overthrow Xi Jinping?

Many people have been talking about the CCP’s “garbage time” recently. What is the CCP’s “garbage time”? In fact, a catastrophe is imminent, and the CCP is in a major crisis that is on the verge of extinction.

This crisis did not just start recently, it started a long time ago.

So when exactly did the CCP enter “garbage time”? My opinion is that the CCP’s “garbage time” began at the 18th National Congress, and then accelerated significantly after the 19th National Congress.

Do you still remember it? After the 18th National Congress, the CCP’s reform and opening up existed in name only, and China as a whole began to rapidly regress back to the Maoist era. This is a sign that the CCP has entered "garbage time".

After Xi Jinping took office as General Secretary, his power and position were not stable during his first term. He mainly used anti-corruption to clean up political opponents and crack down on the Jiang faction and the Tuan faction. By the 19th National Congress, it was clear that he had gained a firm foothold, so he broke with convention and passed the constitutional amendment proposal to abolish the presidential term system. With the strengthening of the party's overall leadership, strict control of speech, the withdrawal of the state and the advancement of the people, internal circulation, and dynamic clearing... the CCP quickly fell into an unprecedented crisis, especially the economy suffered a sharp decline and almost failed to recover.

In this environment, almost all social classes hope that the CCP can put on the brakes and turn the steering wheel.

Looking back at history, during the Mao era, the CCP was also facing great disasters. During the Ten Years of Cultural Revolution, the national economy was on the verge of collapse, the people were in dire straits, and the CCP’s rule was on the verge of collapse. After Mao's death, his successors made large-scale adjustments to the lines and policies of the Mao era in order to save the CCP from crisis. They not only ended the Cultural Revolution and redressed unjust, false and wrongful convictions on a large scale, but also replaced class-based policies with economic construction as the focus. Struggle as the key link and pressed the start button of reform and opening up. As a result, China's economy recovered and ushered in rapid growth after joining the WTO in the 21st century. The CCP was finally able to get out of the crisis at the end of the Cultural Revolution.

Now, decades after reform and opening up, the CCP is once again facing catastrophe. This crisis is more serious than the last one. So this time, can the CCP escape? Can the scene of reversing the crisis after the Cultural Revolution be repeated? I think this is no longer possible.

Why is this no longer possible?

The reason why the CCP faced disaster during Mao's era was mainly because of Mao Zedong's dictatorship. After the Cultural Revolution, the CCP was able to escape death because Mao died, the core leadership of the CCP was replaced, Mao's ultra-left line was ended, and the so-called "reform and opening up" began.

After the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the CCP faced another disaster. In addition to institutional reasons, it is obviously inseparable from the series of principles and policies implemented by party leader Xi Jinping. If we want to reverse this, we must fundamentally negate these principles and policies. To deny these principles and policies is to deny the authority of the party leader. Can Xi Jinping agree? Of course I don't agree. If Xi Jinping disagrees, if there are forces within the party that can bring down Xi Jinping, that's fine. But is there such power? At least not yet. So under the premise that the party leader is still Xi Jinping, of course it is impossible for the CCP to fundamentally change its past principles and policies. At best, it can only tinker with parts of these principles and policies. In this case, how can the CCP’s crisis of extinction be reversed? Absolutely impossible.

Since last year, as the economic situation has continued to deteriorate, people have generally placed their hope on this year's Third Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee that the CCP can make in-depth adjustments to the principles and policies since the 18th CPC National Congress and introduce major measures to save the economy.

Before this meeting, the CCP also significantly raised its tone for reform, claiming that it would further comprehensively deepen reforms. When party leader Xi Jinping held a symposium to build momentum for the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, he even invited economist Zhou Qiren, who advocates market-oriented reform.

But what was the result? Although the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China passed the "Decision on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reforms and Promoting Chinese-style Modernization," people discovered that this meeting was not a meeting to further comprehensively deepen reforms in the true sense, but was an opposition meeting under the banner of reform. Reforms, further retrogression meetings, and eloquent "decisions" have not provided any hope for the cliff-like economic decline.

It can be seen that the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China clearly stated that the CCP has completely lost the ability to self-correct and self-adjust. In other words, the CCP is simply unwilling to face reality and make self-adjustments. At this point, is it possible for the CCP’s crisis to be reversed? Of course it is completely impossible.

To take a step back, even if Xi Jinping steps down due to illness or other reasons and the general secretary is replaced, there is no person in the CCP who can reverse the crisis, and there is no such person. Naturally, history cannot repeat itself. What awaits the CCP can only be its disintegration and collapse.
