C919 relies on U.S. for key components

The C919 is China's first large passenger aircraft developed in accordance with international airworthiness standards. The longest range is about 5,500 km. The passenger aircraft can carry up to 168 passengers, commonly known as " domestic large aircraft ".

The C919 project was established in 2007 and was originally scheduled to be delivered in 2016, but was delayed due to various problems. In May 2017, the C919 entered the comprehensive flight test stage, and after 5 years of test flight and improvement, the model certificate was obtained. The entire development process took 15 years.

According to the regulations of the Civil Aviation Department of the Communist Party of China, the C919 will obtain a stand-alone airworthiness certificate in the next step, and its manufacturer COMAC can start delivery and put it into commercial operation. The first C919 is expected to be delivered by the end of 2022.

 Although the C919 is assembled in China and officially declared to be a " domestic large aircraft ", the heart of the aircraft, the engine, is a joint venture between General Electric of the United States and Safran of France, and the avionics equipment comes from Honeywell International of the United States (HON.O) and other companies.

"The C919 is ostensibly Chinese, but is actually powered by Western technology and systems. Turning it into a real Chinese plane would take more than a decade and billions of dollars."

Strict U.S. export licensing rules have led to delays in component purchases and remain a major risk to ramping up production until China replaces foreign engines and components with homegrown technology, he said.

 Tusa said China would face the same consequences as Russia if relations between Beijing and Western countries deteriorated. Whether COMAC can secure the key components and after-sales services required to manufacture the C919 from the West is something that international buyers have to consider.

 "To turn a C919 into a pure Chinese aircraft requires a redesign, testing for every certification, the most important of which is the engine. Then I will see (C919) in the late 2030s," Tusa said.

C919 to challenge Airbus and Boeing for another decade

The C919 is designed to challenge the market of Western aviation giants Airbus and Boeing. At present, the C919 has 28 customers. The first customers are mainly Chinese domestic airlines, and the orders of Chinese airlines account for about a quarter of the market demand.

 However, COMAC also needs a separate production certificate before it can speed up mass production of the aircraft.  Airbus and Boeing produce dozens of narrow-body planes a month, meaning the C919's impact on the global aircraft market is likely to remain limited.

Crucially, the C919 must also obtain U.S. or European airworthiness certification. In 2017, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has accepted the application for the type certificate of the C919; it is not clear whether the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has accepted it but before that COMAC had applied to the FAA for the airworthiness certificate of the small aircraft ARJ21. and the process is slow.

 Reuters quoted industry analysts as saying that in the face of the monopoly of Boeing and Airbus, it will take a decade for China to effectively challenge them.

Putin's military strategy: The referendum in Russia and the nuclear threat

On 27 September, on the last day of the referendum on the entry of four states into Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, issued another nuclear warning. Unlike previous warnings, Medvedev predicted for the first time in a new round of warnings that even if Moscow uses nuclear weapons against Ukraine, NATO will not risk nuclear war and directly participate in the Ukraine war.

 

Will Putin really use nuclear weapons?

Russian military nuclear train on the move as Putin prepares to escalate his Ukraine war

A huge freight train moving specialist military equipment associated with a nuclear-arms wielding division of Russia's Defence Ministry has been spotted on the move, prompting fears of an escalation in Putin's war.

A series of BPM-97 armoured personnel carriers (APCs) and other military vehicles were seen travelling through central Russia in a clip posted on the Telegram messaging app by pro-Russian channel Rybar on Sunday.

The APCs are thought to have been upgraded with more capable turrets, reinforced ambush and mine-proof armour and an air purification system designed to allow its occupants to operate effectively in the face of sustained infantry attacks. 

Such advanced military hardware, the likes of which have scarcely been deployed on the frontlines in Ukraine, reportedly belong to the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian MoD.

This specialist division is dedicated to the storage, maintenance and provision of weapons to the likes of the Strategic Rocket Forces, a Russian military branch that controls nuclear missiles and forms a key part of Putin's nuclear programme.

Military analyst Konrad Musyka claimed the deployment of such units could signal a coming escalation in the conflict from the warmongering Russian president or constitute a precursor to large scale nuclear drills. 

It comes as NATO warned member states that Russia's state-of-the-art Belgorod nuclear submarine has left its White Sea base, while key Putin ally Ramzan Kadyrov said Russia's military should use 'low-yield nuclear weapons' to turn the tide of the war in Ukraine.

Muzyka said the movement of heavy military hardware belonging to nuke-wielding units does not necessarily mean that Russia is preparing to deploy a nuclear weapon in Ukraine but he suggested it could be a "signal to the West that Moscow is escalating" the conflict, adding that Russia's Strategic Rocket Forces (RVSN) are known to undergo extensive training drills in autumn.

The RVSN is a branch of Russia's armed forces that constitutes a cornerstone of the nation's nuclear defence and deterrence programme, which is the largest and most advanced in the world.

It is made up of dozens of missile regiments who together control thousands of nuclear capable weapons, intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and are responsible for the maintenance and protection of their launch centres. 

'We're in a situation in which superiority in resources and conventional weaponry is on the side of the West,' said Vasily Kashin, a military and political analyst at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

"But Russia's power is based on its nuclear arsenal."

Muzyka also posited that the movement of such hardware could signify preparations for Russia's infamous 'Grom' (Thunder) nuclear deterrence exercise.

Last conducted in October 2019, the Grom military drills see divisions from the trifecta of Russia's land, air and sea-based nuclear arsenals come together to test their operational response in the event of a nuclear conflict. 

The drills saw tens of thousands of troops take part in nuclear readiness tests alongside more than 200 ICBM launch stations, hundreds of military aircraft, and several nuclear warships and submarines, according to The Diplomat.

Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu last year announced that the Grom exercises would be held again in 2022, though it is unclear whether the conflict in Ukraine will bring to bear any changes to the programme. 

Concerns over the movement of the 12th Main Directorate's military hardware comes as NATO warned a key Russian nuclear submarine has left its base in the White Sea in northern Russia.

The warning note claimed the K-329 Belgorod submarine, which only entered active service with Russia's navy in July 2022, may be headed to the Kara Sea to test the feared Poseidon underwater nuclear drone.

Poseidon is said to be capable of travelling huge distances underwater before detonating with enough force to trigger a nuclear tsunami designed to drown and irradiate coastal cities. 

The Kara sea is located off the eastern coast of Novaya Zemlya - a large Russian controlled island in the Arctic circle which has long been used as a nuclear weapons testing facility. 

It was the site of the largest nuclear explosion ever recorded in 1961 when the USSR detonated the Tsar Bomba - a nuclear device ten times more powerful than all of the ordnance exploded in World War II which was downgraded because its original design was thought too dangerous to test.

Meanwhile, Chechen warlord and Putin ally Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on Telegram this weekend that Russia should declare martial law in border towns close to Ukraine and deploy low-yield nuclear weapons to reverse recent military failures.

'I do not know what the Defence Ministry reports to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief [Putin], but in my personal opinion, we need to take more drastic measures,' he said.

Kadyrov complained that Putin's commanders had failed to rout Ukraine's supposed "Satanists and fascists", and made no bones about his desire for nuclear weapons to be detonated on Ukrainian soil.

Ukrainian troops continue advancing in the east, Putin's troops lose ground in three out of four annexed regions

Ukrainian forces are advancing in the south and may have scored a major breakthrough of Russian lines as they also take more territory in the east.

Kyiv's troops are attacking down the west bank of the Dnipro River and have taken the town of  Zolota Balka, it was reported Monday, amid claims from pro-Kremlin sources that troops had retreated as far as Dudchany, around 15 miles further south.

It comes after the key city of Lyman, in Donetsk, was captured by Ukrainian forces at the weekend, with Kyiv's commanders saying troops are now attacking the town of Kreminna, in neighbouring Luhansk.

It means that Putin's troops are now losing ground in three out of the four Ukrainian regions he annexed last week - declaring that any attack on them would be considered an attack on Russia and may trigger a nuclear response.

Anton Gerashchenko, a senior adviser to the Ukrainian government, posted footage online Sunday purporting to be from the town of Zolota Balka in southern Kherson region, showing a flag-waving soldier posing with civilians.

The Institute for the Study of War, a respected US think tank, also reported overnight that Ukraine had captured the town while President Zelensky also hailed Ukrainian advances in the region.

However, pro-Russia military bloggers were far more pessimistic - claiming Ukraine had scored a major breakthrough of the frontlines.

According to multiple accounts, Putin's troops have been forced to pull back to the town of Dudchany - meaning the Ukrainians had advanced around 20 miles.

If confirmed, it would be one of the largest breakthroughs in Kherson since Ukraine began its offensive in early August, and would be a heavy blow for Putin's men.

Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away to the north east, Ukraine said it had captured the town of Torske - located around seven miles east of the city of Lyman, which it had liberated on Saturday.

Serhii Cherevatyi, spokesman for Ukraine's eastern command, said troops are now attacking Russian units in Kreminna - located in neighbouring Luhansk.

Taking the city would open the door to an assault on the twin cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, which Russia spent weeks and huge amounts of manpower capturing over the summer.

Meanwhile more attacks were reported further to the north, heading east out of the city of Borova towards Svatove, which is also located in Luhansk.

Kherson, Luhansk and Donetsk - together with Zaporizhzhia - were annexed by Putin in a major speech inside the Kremlin last week.

CDC data and scientific study suggest 1.2 million Americans may have already died due to covid vaccination

Ben Armstrong did not mince words in the September 23 episode of “The Ben Armstrong Show,”as he spilt the shocking adverse effects numbers associated with the Covid-19 injections.

Armstrong said that he was given the actual Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) data – which the mainstream media, for some reason, does not report accurately.

“I’m giving you the calculated VAERS data. And this is not a scam,” Armstrong told his viewers. “This is not scaremongering. But if you’re sceptical and thinking, oh my gosh, this is over the top. In fact, I’m underselling it. I am giving you what I think is the best-case scenario.”

According to Armstrong, the government and mainstream media are making people think that the numbers are extremely low.

Getting to the point, he revealed the most likely extent of COVID-19 vaccine damage in the U.S. alone: 7.2 million hospitalisations, 1.2 million deaths, 2.3 million permanently disabilities and 2.1 million cases of myocarditis.

Armstrong mentioned that VAERS recorded around 30,000 deaths from the vaccine. In line with this, a study by Jessica Rose and Mathew Crawford found in 2021 that the most credible estimate for deaths is reported at 41X. The researchers stipulated that they confirmed their hypothesis, finding that the 41X rate is on the low side of the estimates.

This means that COVID-19 vaccine deaths in the U.S. could be around 1,230,000 already.

While these are large numbers to swallow, Armstrong pointed out that some data showed that the vaccine can be 98 times worse for young adults than the coronavirus itself. He emphasized that it is 98 times more, not 98% more.

Armstrong was referring to a new study conducted by nine health experts from top universities like Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University. These experts analysed data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and found that for every COVID hospitalization prevented by boosters administered to adults, serious adverse events were also recorded.

Their study found that based on the CDC and sponsor-reported adverse event data, vaccine mandates may cause a net expected harm. For every COVID-19 hospitalization prevented in previously infected young adults, they anticipate 18 to 98 serious adverse events.

Given the high prevalence of post-infection immunity, they stated that the risk-benefit narrative is less favourable and unethical.

Some of the reasons they stated are: there is no formal risk-benefit assessment for the age group; vaccine mandates may result in net expected harm to individual young people; mandates are not proportionate; mandates violate reciprocity principles as vaccine-related harms cannot be compensated due to gaps in the current vaccine injury schemes; and that mandates create wider social harms.

Moreover, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky admitted that there is a causal relationship between the mRNA vaccines and myocarditis when VAERS staff conducted assessments showing that causal associations exist between thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome and Janssen’s COVID-19 vaccine and between myocarditis and mRNA COVID-19 vaccines manufactured by Pfizer and Moderna.

Walensky also admitted that the CDC did not analyze certain types of adverse event reports in 2021 despite having previously stated that they started tracking adverse events in February of that year.

Armstrong pointed out that the numbers he showed were for the U.S. alone. “Imagine if I were to give you the world numbers. If this is just the United States, how many people has Dr. Fauci killed?” he asked.

I have no doubt that the authorities will claim that these deaths were coincidental.

And let us remember if a patient dies within 28 days of being tested positive for coronavirus (and the test doesn’t mean that the patient even has the disease since most tests are false positives) then the death will be listed as a covid-19 death and the patient will be said to have died ‘with’ covid-19. So by the same token, it is perfectly reasonable to say that if a patient dies or falls ill within 28 days of being vaccinated then the death or illness was related to the covid-19 vaccine.

Will the mainstream media ever start recording these deaths or illnesses? Or are journalists going to continue to promote the official government line – and to deny, distort or suppress the truth?

Covid-19 Vaccine – Possible Vaccine Side Effects

Young people and those who know little about medicine or science, talk about vaccines with reverence because they’ve been indoctrinated into believing the pro-vaccine lies.

Vaccines cause a lot of illness and quite a few deaths and they don’t always do what they’re supposed to do. Governments around the world have paid out many billions of dollars to patients who have been made ill by vaccines – or to the relatives of patients who were killed by a vaccine.

There are, for example, grave doubts about what the covid-19 vaccine actually does. Since the vaccine is a new type of vaccine and is being given before the usual tests and observations have been completed no one knows what will happen to the people who have the stuff injected into an arm.

What side effects will there be? How many will die?

Well, I don’t know and nor does anyone else.

What if a woman is pregnant when she has the vaccine or gets pregnant after being given the vaccine? The vaccine isn’t supposed to be given to pregnant women but not all pregnancies are planned.

Will the vaccine interfere with essential life-saving drugs? Many elderly patients already take a number of prescribed drugs. Will the vaccine interfere with them? No one knows. The covid-19 vaccine is the biggest experiment in history. And, unlike a proper clinical trial, it is largely unregulated. As with all vaccines most of the problems which develop will never be reported or recognised.

It is estimated that in the U.S., only 1 in 100 vaccine side effects is reported.

The best we have is a working list of possible adverse event outcomes which the FDA has published in the US. (Here is the link to the draft working list)

Since I believe everyone is entitled to know what side effects there could be with a heavily promoted vaccine, I’m going to read you the official list of possible side effects. This is, remember, not my list but a draft list compiled by the FDA – the Food and Drug Administration in the US.

You aren’t necessarily going to get all of those or even any of them if you have the vaccine. But those are the possible side effects that the FDA has listed. They’re all unpleasant, most of them very serious and you can’t get more serious than death.

And if you are mad enough to have the vaccine then you and your doctor should keep a look out for the symptoms of all the diseases on the FDA’s list.

Your government won’t tell you about these dangers – they don’t believe in fully informed consent as far as vaccines are concerned.

Indeed, most governments are now doing everything they can to ensure that all criticisms of vaccines are banned. Depending on where you live it is, or soon will be, illegal even to mention that vaccines might not always work or might make you ill.

Finally, if your government really cared about you they would conduct a very simple, cheap trial.

They would keep a note of all the health problems affecting 20,000 patients who had the vaccine and compare that list with a list of all the health problems affecting 20,000 patients who didn’t have the vaccine in the same period. They make the comparisons every 3, 6 and 12 months.

Of course, they’d have to find some honest doctors to oversee the trial because it would be very easy to fiddle.

But it would give some very interesting results so I doubt if they’ll be doing it.

Russian experts: De-dollarization and the use of RMB will not work

For years, China and Russia have been trying to reduce their reliance on the U.S. dollar for global settlement in energy transactions. After Russia invaded Ukraine, the West imposed financial sanctions on Russia, and Russia was kicked out of SWIFT and began to try to use the renminbi as a reserve currency.

However , the exchange rate of the RMB is manipulated by the Central Bank of China, the rules are not transparent, and it is not as convenient and advantageous in transactions as the reserve currencies such as the US dollar and the Euro. Russia "de-dollarization" dates back to the 1990s

 

Russia's "de-dollarization" is not new. The term dates back to the 1990s. By 2018, Moscow already had a "de-dollarization" plan.

 

Before the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war on 24 February 2022, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian National Security Council, said that if the Kremlin's business using the dollar was restricted, Moscow could completely switch to the RMB and the Euro.

On 12 September, Putin said that given the increasingly severe economic sanctions, it was only a matter of time before the full "de-dollarization" of the Russian economy. Before Putin's speech, a statement from the Russian Ministry of Finance said that "Russia no longer needs the US Dollar as a reserve currency" and that Russia must use the currency of so-called "friendly countries", such as the RMB, as a reserve currency.

 

Reuters reported that from April to July this year alone, CCP China’s oil purchases from Russia increased by 17% compared with the same period last year, liquefied natural gas from Russia increased by more than 50%, and coal purchases increased by 6%. So far this year, the total value of China's purchases of oil, gas, coal, and electricity from Russia has reached $43.68 billion.

Well-known Russian economist: There are three major risks in increasing the use of RMB

 

The Jamestown Foundation, an American think tank , published an article on 27 September 2022, saying that although Putin and some officials agree with the use of the RMB, many Russian experts and officials have expressed serious doubts and concerns about increasing the yuan in financial business in Russia.

 

The article quoted Russian media articles saying that Putin's economic adviser Maxim Oreshkin suggested that the reserve currency should be in the ruble rather than other currencies, even those of "friendly countries" such as the RMB.

 

"My view is clear, the Dollar and Euro should be exchanged for rubles, not other currencies", he also doubts whether the renminbi (RMB) can be a suitable reserve currency for Russia, "China is a country with a budget deficit of 5% of GDP, this year is GDP of 5.1%.”

 

Andrey Kostin, chairman of the VTB Bank Management Committee, speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum, believes that the negative aspect of using the RMB is the risk of over-reliance on China's national currency, which is "the Chinese (CCP) financial legislation." unique characteristics".

Stanislav Mitrakhovych, a well-known Russian economist, analyzed that Russia faces three risks when it increases its dependence on the RMB.

Russian analyst: Completely abandoning the world's major reserves and trading currencies is economic suicide

Compared with reserve currencies such as the Dollar and the Euro, non-reserve currencies are less liquid and carry economic and exchange rate risks, experts say. Because of this, countries' banking systems are accustomed to using reserve currencies in foreign trade and will not open accounts in other currencies unless absolutely necessary. Even if the buyer agrees to trade in a non-reserve currency under extraordinary circumstances, the other party's goods are required to be discounted.

Reserve currencies are more convenient and profitable to trade than non-reserve currencies. While technically feasible, non-reserve currencies are difficult to use when trading with other countries. For example, Chinese companies will not use Russian rubles to buy goods from Turkey, and Russian companies will not pay in Turkish lira when trading with India.
