Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is the closest hotel to Tokyo Big Sight as it is 800 metres away by foot.
The pros on staying at this hotel are as follows:-
During summer, the hotel is exceptional for its sky views as aircraft can be seen with telephoto lens departing from Haneda, flying in the sky above or near Tokyo Big Sight and parking at the faraway Haneda Airport. Rooms on and above the sixth floor onwards are popular.
There is an orderly queue for complimentary breakfast in the hotel's banquet hall on the third floor. The food varieties are abundantly delicious and healthy.
There is no need to worry about toiletries. Free toothpaste, toothbrushes and razors are available free near the concierge.
The hotel lobby has the weighing machine for weighing luggage, backpacks and cargo boxes.
The check-in machines are not functioning past 12 am until 6 am. There are only two staff present to assist guests to check-in.

The hotel communicates with guests very well through emails prior to guest arrival. They answer my questions on transport access to the hotel promptly on emails. However, initially, the staff advise me to purchase Airport Limousine tickets on-line rather than arriving at the hotel to request for seat reservations on the Airport Limousine, in case there were no seats left upon arrival.
Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel is the second hotel stop after the neighbouring Sotetsu Grand Fresa Tokyo-Bay Ariake via Toyosu Station on the last ride from Narita Airport. It is about 300 metres away from Kokusai-tenjijio Station and about 1 km from Ariake Garden.
The cons are as follows:-
The table in the Single non-smoking room is too small and narrow for writing after placing a laptop or two cameras on it for charging.
The wifi signal is inconsistent and weak.
There is no kettle in the room for boiling water to drink and that is the aspect of my vacations that I do not expect.
Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel needs to improve the strength of the wifi signal and provide hot water to drink.
If I were to re-visit Tokyo Big Sight, I would consider this hotel again.
