Hubei International Cargo Airlines is established on 21 July 2025

According to the WeChat public account of "Hubei Release", Hubei International Cargo Airlines Co., Ltd. is officially established on 21 July 2025. As the first local international cargo airline in Hubei, the company will use Huahu International Airport as its main operating base to help "Made in Hubei" accelerate its entry into the global market.

Hubei International Cargo Airlines is expected to complete the approval for preparation before 30 June  2026. According to the plan, the company will have 20 all-cargo aircraft and open more than 10 intercontinental cargo routes in the next five years; within 25 years, it will have 100 all-cargo aircraft, and the cargo route network will cover the whole country and complete its global route network plan.

As a key link in Hubei's efforts to build an international air cargo hub, Huahu Airport's "cargo" capacity is rapidly increasing-in the first half of this year, Huahu Airport's international cargo and mail throughput reached 249,000 tons, an increase of 261% over the same period in 2024.
