Chengdu, Sichuan, holds a general election of deputies to the National People's Congress, and the vote was held in late November 2021. On 6 December 2021, Chengdu residents revealed that the CCP government was a fake democracy, and it was all about power and money trading behind it. In addition, it has been revealed that the high-votes elected to the National People's Congress of Saihan District in Hohhot are corrupt officials who have been reported.

Ms. Li, a citizen of Chengdu, revealed on Monday that the Communist Party is engaged in fake democracy and can only elect those corrupt and corrupt people designated by them. The common people do not want to vote. So, they use small money to bribe elections to attract people who are greedy and cheap to vote.

Chengdu citizen Ms. Li said, "The Communist Party made fakes. They filled in their names long ago. They chose their own, and they did not have any official seals. Some went for 30 Dollars, and some 20 Dollars. Our side is 10 Dollars. I didn't choose them at all. Asking the people to tick and circle them, these are disasters to the country and the people, corruption, and human rights defenders all crossed him, and none of them were elected."

Ms. Chen, a citizen of Chengdu, said, "We are here for the people's congress election, so we need to get the ballot, give 10 Dollars to the election, the community takes it, and his names have already been filled in for him."

Ms. Li said that many houses in Chengdu have been demolished, and people who defend their rights have petitioned people’s congresses at all levels, from the district people’s congress to the city people’s congress to the provincial people’s congress and the central people’s congress. None of them helped the people solve their problems, and they were also imprisoned for no reason. When the National People's Congress held a meeting, the stability was maintained and guarded.

Chengdu citizen Ms. Chen said, "He (CCP) won't do anything for us. When the demolition is carried out, we will go to our Wuhou District People's Congress. When we go, we will get in, and the sentence will be one and a half years."

On 29 November 2021, the whistleblower Zhang Guihan saw the announcement of the elected deputies to the National People's Congress at the gate of Yulin Township, Saihan District, Hohhot. Among them, Gao Mulun was the corrupt official she reported.

"I originally reported from the end of 2018 that the ditch was illegally digging and selling sand. Party members and cadres involved in the traffic police, as well as public security, forestry, water conservancy, land and other departments, they all divided the stolen goods and sold dirty. The most important thing is that the river is long. The person-in-charge is the chairman of the People’s Congress of Yulin Town, who digs and sells sand, and the long river channel is actually elected as the fifth deputies of the Saihan District People’s Congress. The interests of the people are not safeguarded."

Three independent candidates in Chongqing were forced to terminate their candidacy

Reporters : Xiong Bin and Li Peiling / Image : Video Screenshot / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/12/06/a103286334.html

This year, three of the four independent candidates in Chongqing have been forced to terminate their candidatures in the general election of the People's Congress of the Communist Party of China. Tang Jingzhou, an independent candidate in Yuzhong District, revealed that she was made difficult when submitting the candidacy application form in mid-November and lost her candidacy.

Independent candidate Tang Jingzhou on the 6th in Yuzhong District, Chongqing told NTD that she has long been engaged in the work of the owners' committee and has a good reputation and is supported by community residents. However, for such a big event as the general election of the National People's Congress, the community hardly sees publicity and announcements, and it is difficult to obtain information about the election. The election procedures all rely on their own inquiries and considerations.

Tang Jingzhou said that she encountered difficulties when she submitted the application form for candidate qualifications in mid-November.

Tang Jingzhou said,“Originally, his request was ten joint names. My mass base in the community is very good. I quickly signed dozens of joint recommendations, and they told me, Only eight of you are qualified, so you are disqualified in this way."

3 December 2021 was the polling day in Yuzhong District. Tang Jingzhou went to vote and asked the staff about the election. The other party looked at each other and did not dare to answer.

Tang Jingzhou said, "On the day of voting, I said how did you determine the formal candidates? The voter group should be discussed in groups. You didn't do any of these tasks. He said we did it, and I said why we can notify? Even if it is you The formal candidates were confirmed. These formal candidates did not meet with the voters, nor did they accept questions from the voters. I said you did not do any of these tasks. I questioned them there. Several police officers came around me and said that I sabotaged the election and told me to leave the scene."

It is understood that Han Liang, Xiao Zhenyi, and Tang Jingzhou have been forced to suspend their candidacy. In late November, during the period when Han Liang was looking for a joint recommendation, the local government used hooliganism to restrict him from going out; Xiao Zhenyi was denied registration for the election on the grounds of unqualified political review.

Another independent candidate in Banan District, Chongqing, Wang Chengkang, told NTD that her remarks have also been monitored.

Wang Chengkang, an independent candidate in Banan District, Chongqing, said, "The four of us, Han Liang, Xiao Zhenyi, and Tang Jingzhou, were all hindered. They were not allowed to stand for the election. There are surveillance cameras where they go. I made a comment on the Internet and someone immediately came to talk to me."

Han Liang stated on the 6th that the authorities sabotaged the election, and all those who participated in the election were designated by them. The reason for not allowing independent candidates to stand in the election was because they were afraid that the people would be elected and supervise the government.

The Chinese Communist Party’s White Paper on "Democracy" is violently refuted by Chinese scholars

Reporter : Liming / Editor: Lin Qing / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/12/06/a103286489.html

Image : On 4 December 2021, the State Council Information Office of the Communist Party of China released the white paper "Democracy in China". (Web picture)

The Chinese Communist Party officially released the white paper "China's Democracy" a few days ago. It praised the so-called "full-process people's democracy" promoted by the Chinese Communist Party and at the same time distorted and devalued Western democracy. However, the Chinese-style "democracy" promoted by the CCP has been ridiculed and criticized by a group of Chinese scholars and observers overseas.

Last Saturday (4 December 2021), the State Council Information Office of the Communist Party of China released the full text of the white paper "China's Democracy". The minister’s white paper of more than 20,000 words is divided into five parts. It praises the so-called "full-process people's democracy" promoted by the Beijing authorities, and details its institutional arrangements and practical methods. The long article advertised that the CCP’s self-proclaimed democracy is the so-called "widespread, true and effective" democracy, which can realize the so-called "process democracy", "product democracy", "procedural democracy" and "substantial democracy", claiming to be able to realize the "people's democracy and the will of the state are unified.” It also claims that this type of democracy can “enrich human political civilization” and “explore new paths” for the development of human democracy.

However, after the full text of this book was published, it was ridiculed and criticized by a group of Chinese scholars and current affairs observers overseas.

Wang Qingmin, a youth observer living in Europe, told Radio Free Asia that the white paper advertised China’s current leadership tenure system as one of the manifestations of Chinese democracy but it was only three years ago that the Chinese Communist Party passed a constitutional amendment to abolish the re-election of the country’s president. Besides re-election restrictions, this reality of saying one thing and doing another thing is very ironic.

"I think this is the biggest irony," Wang Qingmin said. "Xi Jinping removed the restriction on re-election by amending the constitution so that he can rule the country for life, or at least one or two more terms." He then added: "So, what is written in the white paper is completely opposite to the real situation.

The white paper also emphasizes that the Chinese can "hold and exercise power" by voting to elect deputies to the National People's Congress and let them represent their own wishes, claiming that this is an important form of Chinese democracy. However, from November to December 2021, when some ordinary citizens in Beijing and Chongqing announced that they would participate in the election of grassroots people’s congresses as independent candidates, they were subjected to various harassment and oppression from the local government and police, and they were finally forced to stop participating in the election.

In response to this phenomenon, Wang Qingmin commented, "The main manifestation of the people being the masters of the country is that they can decide who is on stage and who is off stage, then voting is the most important method. But in China, the approach of voting in this aspect is not true at all."

The white paper emphasizes that Chinese-style democracy is the so-called "all-round" democracy. It claims that the "dictatorship" and democracy in China's political system are "non-contradictory". It also emphasizes that the dictatorship will crack down on the so-called "undermining the socialist system" and "subverting state power." The other actions are all to "ensure that the people are the masters of the country".

In addition, the white paper also spent a considerable amount of space criticizing some shortcomings in the electoral system and democratic practices of Western countries, distorting European and American-style democracy as "discuss but not decision", "decision but not action", and "two-party vicious competition" system.

However, on overseas online social media, the above statements in the CCP's white paper have been criticized by many Chinese netizens, and they have been criticized as "referring to the deer as a horse", "opening your eyes and talking nonsense", "deceiving yourself" and "covering your ears and stealing bells."

Even on China’s domestic online social media where speech control is very strict, in addition to the official CCP’s “Navy Army” who post messages to praise the CCP’s “democracy”, there are still netizens who leave messages under the CCP’s official media Weibo account. They revealed that "referring to the deer as the horse, you are the strongest", "The People's Daily, which produces 130,000 catties of wheat per mu, is the most democratic! Haha!" or questioned that the network administrator deleted all the negative comments "What are you afraid of?". Some netizens commented ironically that "North Korea is the most democratic."

Song Wendi, a lecturer at the Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies at the Australian National University, said in an interview with the Voice of America that, in addition to using the term "full-process people's democracy" that is difficult to understand by the outside world to refute American democracy, the CCP has responded to Western liberalism and international order in recent years and also explored a set of "soft and hard" strategy.

He said that the CCP would avoid confrontation with European and American countries, and instead use Western vocabulary but it would transform the connotation of these vocabulary and use the concept of secret exchange to state it.

Song Wendi gave an example: The CCP has banned the spread of Western "universal values" in China, but it has created the so-called "common value for all mankind" to grab the right to speak with the United States.

The CCP’s "American Democracy" report becomes an international joke

The United States invited leaders from 110 countries and regions around the world to hold a "democracy summit." The uninvited CCP seemed to be stimulated. Not only did it release the "Democracy in China" white paper, it claimed to have achieved the so-called "whole process people's democracy" and has also released a report on "American Democracy", criticizing a large number of American democratic systems but the CCP’s response has caused ridicule internationally.

On 5 December, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China issued a report on "U.S. Democracy", criticizing the American democratic system and claiming that there are many ways to realize democracy, and the political system of each country should be independently determined by its own citizens.

On the 4th, the Communist Party of China also released the so-called "China's Democracy" white paper, declaring the realization of "the whole process of people's democracy."

These measures of the CCP have been ridiculed by international public opinion.

Winston, a video producer who pays attention to Chinese topics. Winston Sterzel tweeted, remember that Chinese students demanded democracy in 1989? Bullets, murders, and tanks are the CCP’s response to democracy.

Kenneth Roth, Executive Director of Human Rights Watch, also tweeted, “No one in China can vote, no one can criticize the Communist Party without risking it, and even discussions on the Internet are subject to strict scrutiny. This Is it democracy?"

Dong Guangping, a mainland democratic public welfare activist, pointed out that the CCP’s talk about democracy is itself an international joke.

Dong Guangping said, "The most basic and basic principles of democracy are freedom of speech and power supervision. You have no freedom of speech and no right to supervise what democracy you are talking about? That is a democracy that you fabricated yourself."

Dong Guangping said that the CCP’s suppression of speech has reached its peak. What qualifications does it have to talk about democracy?

Dong Guangping commented, "Now we can’t talk about property price increases, we can’t talk about bad economic conditions, we can’t talk about price increases, we can’t talk about electricity and power failures. We can’t talk about dead people, can’t talk about illnesses,  can’t talk about where hospitals are locked down. Think about what this is. What kind of society? What kind of political party? What kind of organization can reach this point? Hitler, Nazis, gangs, and bandits have not reached this point."

The CCP’s white paper on democracy also claims that “people’s democracy in the whole process” enables all links and aspects of the country’s political and social life to reflect the will of the people and hear the voice of the people.

Lai Jianping, Master of International Law, China University of Political Science and Law, said, “Let’s simply ask, since you are so good, you let people choose and let people use votes to choose you. Why are you so obsessed with this regime? Why? Who dares to say a word, you will arrest people and go to jail? Why do you have so many literary prisons? Why do you want to deprive the Chinese people of their basic freedoms? Why do you trample on all human rights and dignity to such an extent?"

Lai Jianping said that the CCP's repeated talk of democracy is nothing more than justifying the continued monopoly of the government.

Lai Jianping said, "It knows that democracy as a universal value cannot be denied. Therefore, it has never dared to say positively that democracy is not a value goal pursued by mankind. It has never dared to take the universal values of democracy and freedom from the Constitution. Deleted. But it adopts the method of surreptitiously changing the pillars and drawing salaries from the bottom. It uses a very shameless method to say that its democracy is a democracy of the whole process, which is five times ten times more democratic than the democracy of the United States."

The U.S. State Department announced in November that Biden will hold a democracy summit on December 9. 110 countries and regions including Taiwan were invited, but the CCP was not invited. The summit focused on topics such as "fighting against authority, fighting corruption and promoting respect for human rights".

Lai Jianping said, "This democracy summit will show that the United States, the West, and the entire international democratic camp have a strong determination and strength to resist and confront authoritarian countries. It will deal a heavy blow to them. Then China is precisely the world's largest authoritarian fortress, the CCP. It’s like sitting on this volcanic crater, and it’s panicking all day."

On 3 December, CCP Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian both publicly criticized American democracy. Beijing also held a so-called democracy symposium on the 2nd, secretly criticizing the United States, boasting that it is a well-deserved democracy.

Lai Jianping said that the CCP itself has no confidence. It knows that the authoritarian regime has no legitimacy, so it criticizes the deer for propaganda and preaching.

Lai Jianping added, "On the one hand, it brazenly declares that it is the most democratic country in the world. Then, it counterattacks the United States and Europe. It adopts this strategy for nothing more than two purposes. Inverted black and white, irrational brainwashing indoctrination; external to the international community, it can act as a general agent of the world's rogue autocratic countries, emboldening their small circle and the autocratic camp."

Lai Jianping said that the CCP’s distorted interpretation of democracy has no meaning. It will only make the world more aware of the nature of the CCP regime and will no longer listen to its rhetoric. Its brainwashing propaganda will no longer deceive the international community.

A few days ago, the major official media of the Chinese Communist Party reposted the report "The Situation of Democracy in the United States" issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party on Weibo. This report launched a fierce attack on the democratic system of the United States. As a result, there was a "rollover" in the comment area of the official Weibo, and the official urgently deleted almost all "negative" comments that ridiculed and refuted, and set corresponding restrictions.

On 5 December 2021, local time, the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China released the report "The Situation of Democracy in the United States". The report, which is about 15,000 words in full text, claims that it is necessary to "combine the shortcomings of the American democratic system" and analyze the so-called "chaos" of domestic democratic practice in the United States and the so-called "harm" of exporting democracy to the outside world.

Subsequently, the official Weibo of the mouthpiece media of the Communist Party of China, such as "People's Daily", Xinhua News Agency, and CCTV, all forwarded the relevant news, and attached a link to the report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China. As a result, netizens commented on the phenomenon of "carriage overturning" in the comment area under relevant news from these major official microblogs.

Although the administrators of these official WeChat accounts quickly deleted almost all rebuttals and ridicule of the official report, and set restrictions on the so-called "negative comments", screenshots of such comments were circulated on social networking platforms outside the wall.

The "China Digital Times" website collected and sorted out some netizen comments that were deleted by the CCP's official WeChat account based on screenshots of the circulated web pages. The editor also pointed out that the CCP official micro-organization's practice of hiding their ears and stealing bells just presents the ironic "magic reality" of the so-called "Chinese democracy where the people are the masters".

The following are some of the comments of netizens deleted by the CCP official microblog.

Big human: "Who has elected a deputies to the National People's Congress? Has voted?"

Dickies Hai: "It's almost there...Zhi He is getting less and less bottom line, but you can do it. Anyway, the historical judgment is not your final say. Later generations have their own opinions."

Floating Clouds and Sunshine Mountain House: "Does the People's Daily represent the Chinese people or the American people? Then pay attention to how well the American people live. It is better to pay more attention to the Chinese people, pay more attention to the dark side of the country, exercise the supervision power of the media, and urge improvement. ."

Xiao Liu Liguang: "Wealthy people and officials, depending on where their children go, and where a large percentage of 985 and 211 undergraduate graduates go, it is clear that facts speak louder than words."

Daitou Dainao 000: "The People's Daily, which produces 130,000 catties of wheat per mu, is the most democratic! Haha!"

SlimPanda: "The United States is so bad? Why are children rushing to send it there? Why not send it to North Korea, a model of world democracy?"

Front-loading washing machine 21: "Didn't the country just say that democracy or not should be the final say two days ago? Today, I will talk about what is wrong with American democracy. This face is crackling."

Other box: "It's the feeling of a long-term single-digit poor student in the 'democracy' subject, laughing at people who take 60 or 70 points..."

Lin Gongzi is the little sun: "Can you criticize other countries for fake democracy after the universal election?"

Kugai Kukumao: "Centralization says that people are undemocratic, and you are shameless."

Ruan glutinous snow white powder juju: "Searching for the people and the people to build a powerful country on the Internet and fool the people to manipulate public opinion. Which assets of the red races who are officials and powerful have ever announced? Which one is not free to shuttle to the United States? The people use their lives to create wealth for you, and you continue to search. How much of it is used by the people? Don’t let the people discuss facts, politics, and economy, and use entertainment to divert contradictions between men’s and women’s topics. You ask yourself who you represent?"

How long will it take? Aaaa: "The editor has a snack bar. Netizens are not fooling around, and they have overturned. Everyone is not a fool. Everyday they say that the United States is bad, but those who have the power and money will go there."

The above-mentioned explicit rebuttals, criticisms, and spit comments have been deleted or masked in the comment section of the official Weibo, leaving only wumaos, pinkies and other CCP naval messages to support the scene.

Log in to the official Weibo accounts of major party media, and you can see that the "Review Featured" mode has been activated for the relevant Weibo comments on the official Weibo of "People's Daily"; the Weibo comments related to CCTV News have also been restricted, and the prompt is " Inappropriate comments have been filtered, and some comments will not be displayed for the time being"; Xinhua News Agency’s Weibo also publicly restricts user comments.

In addition, on China’s domestic Internet Q&A community and creators’ original content publishing platform "Zhihu", netizens’ critical comments on the above-mentioned sensitive topics have also been filtered and censored.

On the overseas social network platform Twitter, after a Chinese netizen reposted the relevant news, the netizen left a message saying, "It almost spit out the meal overnight." Another netizen said, "I went to look at it, and more than 2,000 comments are now displayed. There are more than a dozen articles.” Some netizens commented ironically, “It’s okay, all comments will be banned to be democratic.”

Some netizens reposted a video clip of Shen Jilan, a professional representative of the People's Congress of the Communist Party of China, who was dubbed by Chinese netizens as a "human flesh voting machine". When she answered questions from the media, she explained her concept of "democracy" in China. Aunt Shen said at the time that as a representative of the National People's Congress, she cannot communicate with voters, otherwise it would be "not democratic."

Protest against China’s human rights violations. The Biden-Harris administration announced the "Boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics"

Image : Video Screenshot

White House Spokesperson Psaki announced today that in view of the continued genocide, crimes against humanity in mainland China and other human rights violations in Xinjiang, the US government will diplomatically boycott the Winter Olympics and the Paralympic Games to be held in Beijing in 2022.

The 6 December announcement by Jen Psaki is not unexpected. The Washington Post first reported in November that the Biden administration was considering a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics. Biden also revealed to the media that he is considering the possibility of boycotting Beijing Olympics.

Psaki said in a routine media briefing at the White House that in view of the mainland’s ongoing genocide and crimes against humanity and other human rights violations in Xinjiang, the Biden-Harris administration will not send diplomatic or official representatives to attend the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. She quoted Biden telling China's President Xi Jinping that it is American DNA to stand up for human rights, and the promotion of human rights is a basic commitment of the United States. The United States will stand firm and continue to take actions to promote human rights in the mainland and other regions.

In the past few months, many U.S. congressmen and human rights groups have called on the Biden-Harris administration to diplomatically boycott the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Democrat Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, called for a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Olympics in a hearing in May. The cross-party senator led by Republican U.S. Senator Mitt Romney also jointly proposed an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the 2022 fiscal year at the end of October to force a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics by the U.S. government. British Deputy Prime Minister: Not attending the Beijing Winter Olympics

Reporter : Zheng Gusheng / Editor: Xu Gengwen / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/12/06/a103286682.html

Many European and American countries are actively discussing a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics. British Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice, Dominic Raab, told the media that he would not attend the Winter Olympics.

In an interview with London Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) on 5 December, Dominic Raab made it clear that he would not participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics. He also stated that the boycott of the Winter Olympics was out of concerns about the CCP’s violation of human rights.

When asked whether his colleagues in the British Conservative Party took the same position, Dominic Raab said that he could not represent everyone, but he would definitely not participate.

Dominic Raab added that whether to send athletes is the decision of the British Sports Commission, and he advocates the depoliticization of sports events.

Dominic Raab also emphasized that when he was Minister of Foreign Affairs, he promoted the British version of the Global Magznitsky Accountability Act to punish officials in countries that violated human rights.

CNN quoted news reports on the same day that the United States will announce a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics this week.

Prior to this, the Minister of Sports, Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of Lithuania, the European and American member states, announced that they would not attend the Beijing Winter Olympics. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also revealed to the media that other government officials have no plans to attend the meeting. These statements are regarded by the outside world as a disguised declaration of a diplomatic boycott of the Winter Olympics.

Cooperation with Vietnam and Indonesia, Russia's South China Sea oil extraction challenges the CCP

Indonesia is drilling for oil in disputed waters in the South China Sea, triggering a tense standoff between the CCP and Indonesia for several months. The related drilling was funded by a Russian state-owned enterprise. The state-owned enterprise had previously cooperated with Vietnam to extract oil in disputed waters between China and Vietnam.

Reuters previously reported that in June this year, Indonesia drilled two appraisal wells in the Tuna Block in the southernmost part of the South China Sea (the North Natuna Sea), and drilling operations continued until November. During the period, the CCP claimed that the sea area was within the so-called "nine-dash line" delineated by China and sent a coast guard boat to the scene to confront the Indonesian coast guard boat for several months.

According to Russian media reports, the Russian state-owned energy giant "Overseas Oil Company" (ZARUBEZHNEFT) owns half of the Tuna Block. The two exploratory wells that were drilled this time were all funded by the company.

"Overseas Oil Company" President Kudriashov once introduced that he plans to build a new group of oil and gas fields in the South China Sea based on some of the oil and gas fields owned by the company in Vietnam and Indonesia.

The distance between the Tuna Block and the 06-1 Block in Vietnam is only about 108 km. "Overseas oil companies" have oil fields in 06-1 and some other Vietnamese-controlled blocks. Including 06-1, some blocks are located within the border line declared by the Chinese Communist Party.

These Vietnamese oil fields were previously affiliated with another Russian energy giant "Ross Petroleum" but "Ross Petroleum" is the main supplier of Russian oil in the Chinese market. Following the protests of the Chinese Communist Party, the "Ross Oil Company" sold all its offshore oil and gas exploration operations in Vietnam to "Overseas Oil Companies" this year. Because "overseas oil companies" have no business connection with China, it is difficult for the CCP to use experience threats to interests.

Russia and Vietnam have been cooperating in the South China Sea for a long time and now they are entering Indonesia again.

In addition to developing oil and gas resources in the South China Sea, Russia is also strengthening cooperation with Indonesia in other areas, including selling weapons and equipment such as SU-35 fighters to Indonesia. Recently, Russia and Indonesia jointly took the lead and held the first joint maritime military exercise between Russia and ASEAN in the Strait of Malacca.

Aung San Suu Kyi was convicted and sentenced. The international community denounced the trial as false

Image : The Irrawaddy

According to the Hong Kong East Net report, Myanmar’s former State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi and former President Win Min were charged with incitement and violating anti-epidemic regulations. On Monday (6 December 2021) they were convicted of 2 counts and sentenced to 4 years in prison each. The military government leader Min Aung Hlaing later approved a partial amnesty and reduced imprisonment of Aung San Suu Kyi and Win Min to two years.

The international community condemned the judgment as a false trial and was entirely politically motivated.

The U.S. Secretary of State Blinken issued a statement that the Myanmar military government’s unfair conviction of Aung San Suu Kyi and suppressed other elected officials further insulted Myanmar’s democracy and justice, and urged the military government to immediately release Aung San and all those improperly detained and stop the use of violence. Respect the will of the people and restore Myanmar’s democratic transition.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Bachelet said that Aung San Suu Kyi's conviction after a false trial by a military-controlled court was entirely politically motivated. The European Union's High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Borelli also pointed out that the sentence was politically motivated and called on Myanmar to immediately release all political prisoners. Norwegian Nobel Committee Chairman Anderson rarely issued a statement, saying that the credibility of the legal procedures this time was low and the conviction was part of the military's suppression of the opposition.

China, which has good relations with the Myanmar military and the Aung San Suu Kyi government, expressed the hope that the two sides can bridge their differences while Japan, which has a large investment in Myanmar, described Aung San Suu Kyi’s imprisonment as an “unfavorable development”.

Omicron is too communicative? Infection occurred in Hong Kong quarantine hotel

Recently, the highly mutated Omicron variant continues to aggravate people’s concerns. In an isolated hotel in Hong Kong, two fully vaccinated people were infected with Covi29 (for Omicron variant, B.1.1.529).

Last Friday (3 December), the monthly journal "Emerging Infectious Diseases" published by the U.S. CDC published a study by the University of Hong Kong. Researchers say that Covi29 is most likely to spread through the air.

Surveillance video shows that the two people infected with Covi29 in the quarantine hotel did not leave their rooms, nor did they have any outside contact. They only opened their doors when they were collecting food or conducting covi testing.

"The Omicron variant spreads between two fully vaccinated people through a corridor separating the hotel, highlighting this potential problem." The research report reads.

A preliminary study in South Africa last week showed that the transmission rate of Covi29 is twice that of the Delta variant (Covi72), and the re-infection rate may be three times that of Covi72.

Carl Pearson, a mathematical modeler at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), told The New York Times that researchers are not yet sure why the Omicron variant’s rapid spread is due to its contagiousness or its ability to evade the immune system.

According to data from the National Institute for Communicable Diseases in South Africa, although only a small part of the test samples are sequenced every week, Omicron variants accounted for 73% of all genomes tested positive for covi in South Africa in November.

Dr. Amesh Adalja, a senior scholar at the Health Safety Center of the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, told Forbes that these studies seem to indicate the ability of Covi29  to rapid spread has a higher re-infection rate than other variants.

The rapid spread of Omicron in South Africa is what researchers are most worried about because it suggests that the variant may trigger an explosive increase in covid cases in other regions. South Africa reported 16,055 new covid cases on the 3rd, 11,535 on the 2nd, and 8,561 on the 1st.

AstraZeneca vaccine developer: the next plague is more deadly

One of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine developers, British virologist Sara Gilbert, recently warned in a lecture at Oxford University that the next plague may be more deadly than the CCP virus (covi, novel coronavirus) and we should be prepared.

British virologist Sarah Catherine Gilbert said, "This won't be the last virus that threatens our lives and livelihoods. I want to end the lecture in a high profile, but the truth is that it may be worse next time. It may be more contagious or More deadly, or both."

Gilbert, a professor of vaccinology at the University of Oxford, called for lessons to be learned from this epidemic and sufficient funds should be reserved to deal with a greater plague.

According to data from Johns Hopkins University, the CCP virus has caused 5.26 million deaths worldwide, trillions of dollars in economic output have been wiped out, and the lives of billions of people have undergone tremendous changes.

Gilbert said the spike protein of Covi29 contains known mutations that allow the virus to spread faster.

British virologist Sarah Catherine Gilbert: "Every time a new variant appears, vaccine developers will start work on a new version of the vaccine, and Omicron does the same."

She urged that prior to knowing more about Covi29, the relevant restrictions should be implemented cautiously.

Breaking the boundaries of defense, Japan first mentions "attack on enemy bases"

Image : Video Screenshot

On 6 December 2021 (Monday), Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida stated in the Parliament that he would greatly strengthen national defense capabilities, including the ability to attack enemy bases.

In Monday's "Belief Statement Speech," Fumio Kishida talked about a number of major issues, among which the content of national defense and security received special attention. Kishida Fumio said that Japan's defense capabilities will be fundamentally strengthened, including the ability to "attack enemy bases." This statement has broken through the post-war Japanese Constitution stipulating that the Japanese Self-Defense Forces "can only defend themselves and cannot launch external attacks."

In addition, Kishida Fumio also promised to revise the National Security Strategy, the Defense Plan Outline, and the Mid-term Defense Force Improvement Plan within one year. Kishida Fumio also called on the Congress to seriously consider whether to amend the Constitution to give the government more discretion when deploying the Self-Defense Forces.

Epidemic spreads in many provinces, Manzhouli cases continue to surge

Image : Video Screenshot

The epidemic in mainland China is still spreading everywhere. On 6 December, new cases broke out in Guangzhou Zengcheng, Nanning, Ningbo, Quanzhou, Heilongjiang Suihua, etc. The cities, districts, road traffic, schools and flights were cancelled. The news of service suspension keeps emerging.

In Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia, where the epidemic was originally severe, the number of confirmed cases has continued to increase. According to the official figures released by the Communist Party of China, 37 new cases were added in less than a day on 6 December.

According to the announcement of the Manzhouli City Epidemic Prevention and Control Press Conference, there are currently 391 confirmed cases in the local area, and the virus has spread to 6 regions in 4 provinces.

Except for Manzhouli, Tongliao in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Harbin in Heilongjiang Province, Qiqihar, Suihua, Beijing and Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province have all discovered related cases.

Manzhouli has conducted 9 large-scale nucleic acid tests for 9 consecutive days. However, the epidemic seems to show no signs of remission.

Since the CCP is accustomed to concealing the truth, the truthfulness of the official epidemic data has also been questioned by the outside world.

Doctors escaped to the United States from the mainland: The strange phenomenon of Chinese medical treatment I saw

Reporter : Xu Xiuhui / Editor : Wang Wangqi / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/12/06/a103286416.html

Under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party, weird phenomena in the mainland medical field frequently appeared. From the medical privileges of high-ranking officials, the ever-worsening contradiction between doctors and patients, to the frequent falsification of scientific research papers by medical personnel, the problem of domestic vaccines, and the inhumane management of epidemic prevention. Luo Cheng (pseudonym), a surgeon who fled from mainland China to the United States, tells us the story he saw.

Luo Cheng, a surgeon from China, accepted a joint interview with NTDTV in late November. He said that the Communist Party has always been in all walks of life, deliberately creating a situation where people fight each other. For example, the CCP’s investment in medical insurance is very low, and most of it is used for medical insurance for CCP officials. In the past two decades, a large number of high-level officials or insurance buildings have been built for the privileged class in various places to allow them to enjoy free medical services, but ordinary people cannot enter the house to receive medical services.

Luo Cheng, a former mainland surgeon, said, "Then use very expensive anti-tumor drugs, imported from abroad, and they are also free. Therefore, it uses the investment in medical care of the last few countries in the world, but it has to be used in the world. Medical insurance for 1/5 of the population."

In order to fill the huge gap in medical insurance funds, the CCP not only allows public hospitals to be responsible for their own profits and losses, but also extremely squeezes the legal salary and benefits of medical staff. Luo Cheng said that the average salary level of Chinese medical staff is only 1/6 to 1/8 of that of their foreign counterparts. Facing economic pressure, doctors began to accept red envelopes and rebates.

Luo Cheng said, "The common people think that I don’t care about the disease. I have spent so much money but I can’t cure it. It also cost me my life. The source of all this pain comes from the doctor receiving the red envelope or the doctor taking back the deduction. This matter. They didn’t realize that the government was responsible for this. So it was a clever use of this to make patients and doctors fight each other.”

From 2006 to 2016, the number of medical dispute cases handled by courts across the mainland doubled.

In 2019, there were as many as 18,112 medical-patient disputes in official statistics.

Luo Cheng said that there are indeed some scumbags in the industry who prescribe huge amounts of drugs to patients and arrange excessive treatment in order to get rebates. Not only do these people need not be punished but they also get worse. This is the weird phenomenon of counter-elimination in the mainland medical industry.

In addition, the judging criteria for year-end appraisal and promotion of medical personnel are not the professional ability, but the journal and the number of scientific research papers published. Trusting people to do experiments, writing articles, defrauding scientific research funds, and hospitals and the government working together for personal gain are all open secrets of the mainland medical community. This has led to an endless stream of false papers.

Luo Cheng said, "The doctor is the first participant in the article. He has not done this experiment at all, but some medical companies will do it for you. The price of an article is determined by the size of the SCI impact factor you publish. For example, like 5. Points, 5 to 10 points are considered high, they may charge 50,000 to 100,000 RMB."

Luo Cheng said that using "scientific research as the key link" to manage the medical system will only cause waste like the "Great Leap Forward" large-scale steel smelting. Most of China's scientific research papers data cannot be accepted. Even if international colleagues spend a lot of energy in detecting falsified papers, they will not affect the reputation of the falsifiers in the mainland. This is related to the inaction of government agencies and the tacit approval of falsification.

In addition, speaking of the CCP virus epidemic raging around the world, Luo Cheng said that all the problems in China are the non-disclosure of information.

Luo Cheng: "For example, who is patient zero? What is the specific information? I don't know at all. The outside world is still a mystery. This thing will lead to rumors. For example, this may be leaked by the laboratory, or Possibly the military background poisoning. The second view is that it is very inhumane for epidemic prevention measures and management during the epidemic, because it does not consider the life needs of ordinary people, and it is mandatory to quarantine, and then the cost of quarantine is your own. pay."

Luo Cheng saw many cases of "leukemia" after being vaccinated with domestic vaccines on the Internet on the mainland. The authorities tried their best to cover up.

Luo Cheng said, "The CCP vaccine, first of all, it has quality problems. After other vaccines in China came out, there are many similar problems, and everyone can find these online. But why do the vaccines developed in such a short period of time have to force so many people to go? Fight? After the fight, this complication or adverse reaction has never been clearly announced."

Luo Cheng said that the chaos in the mainland Chinese medical industry is essentially a problem of the system and the political environment. Once normal people are involved in the social mudslides concocted by the CCP, it is difficult for them to retreat.

Merck Canada announced plans to produce oral anti-covid drugs in Canada, making Canada a global production centre for an oral treatment for covid.

The pharmaceutical company has invested 19 million Dollars to expand the production of the anti-covid drug - Molnupiravir, which is produced at the Thermo Fisher Scientific Pharmaceutical Factory in Whitby, Ontario.

The drug is one of the first drugs used to treat non-hospitalized infected patients and is currently awaiting approval from Health Canada.

This oral antiviral drug works by blocking enzymes that are essential for virus replication.

Clinical trials by Merck Pharmaceuticals have shown that patients with mild or moderate covid infection have a 50% lower risk of hospitalization or death compared with patients taking placebo.

Last week, Federal Purchasing Minister Filomena Tassi announced that Canada has signed an agreement to purchase 500,000 doses of oral anti-covid virus drugs. If Health Canada approves, it can purchase another 500,000 doses.
