Lately, a report published by The Business Times has incurred dissatisfaction and social media remarks over a planned-to-feature sculpture named "A Boy and Someone From Nowhere" by Thai sculptor Gongkan. The sculpture is said to be one of the many artpieces to be showcased in Singapore from 12 to 15 January 2023.

Sylvia Johnstone criticized about the sculpture, "Now do you call this "Art"? To me it looks like a boy being molested or having his private part touched by "someone from no where". Is this child molestation and/or child pornography openly in display in the name of art? Or are these art organisers subtly saying that it is okay for young children to be touched by someone ie. stranger ? Or pedophilia is now considered an art form ?"

Sylvia suspects the motive behind exhibiting the Boy sculpture and calls on people in Singapore to consider about the implications of exhibiting this sculpture and other sculptures that echo the idea of molestation and crimes against children.

She pointed out that the exhibitor Magnus Renfew is a member of the World Economc Forum that harbours unkind agenda towards humanity such as infiltration of the normalization of child pornograpy or pedophilia.

Another netizen Manfred Lee added, "yuval and husband

It is timely to address issues of mass media reports and portrayals on crimes against children in the society-at-large through arts and performances. Do reports on child molestation stop further reports on crimes against children from occurring? Do dramas that involve rape and molestation stop reality from repeating?

Why do humanity keep sinning despite legal penalties and imprisonment?
