The Nanning International Airport Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project is the first comprehensive transportation hub project in Guangxi that integrates various transportation modes. The current construction has entered the sprint stage, and will be opened for operation simultaneously with the Nanning-Pingxiang Railway and the Nanning-Chongzuo section within the year. By then, high-speed rail, civil aviation, and subway will be seamlessly connected. High-speed rail + plane + subway, the transfer distance does not exceed 200 m.

The Nanping section of Nanping Railway starts from Nanning Hub Nanning Station in the east, passes through Wuwei Airport Station, Fusui South Station, and ends at Chongzuo South Station. The main line is 119.3 km long and has a designed speed of 250 km per hour. It is an important transportation foundation for the new western land-sea passage facility. As an important part of the comprehensive transportation hub project of Nanning International Airport, Wuwei Airport Station has been attracting much attention since its construction started.

The Nanning International Airport Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project is the first super-large comprehensive transportation hub facility in Guangxi that integrates high-speed rail, civil aviation, subway and expressway. In addition to railway stations, it also includes urban rail transit airport stations and airport, parking garage etc. The hub project is located in front of the T2 terminal of Nanning Wuxu International Airport, with one floor above ground and two floors underground, with a total construction area of about 305,000 square metres, equivalent to 43 standard football fields.

At the same time, the project strives to build an intelligent system integrating high-speed rail, civil aviation, subway and expressway information collection, interaction and processing, including dynamic energy management system, indoor pedestrian navigation system, etc., to improve the convenience and comfort of passenger travel . It will be put into use this year, and it will take only 12 minutes from the city to the airport at the fastest.
