推特空间对话 小肯尼迪和马斯克探讨言论自由
On Monday (5 June 2023), Twitter boss Elon Musk invited Robert F. Kennedy Jr. .to discuss about free speech on Twitter Spaces.

Kennedy is the nephew of the late President John F. Kennedy and the son of former U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy. He kicked off his campaign in April for the 2024 Democratic primary, becoming the second Democratic candidate, after author Marianne Williamson, to challenge Biden for the presidential nomination.

Kennedy said in April that he challenged Biden because he "fundamentally disagrees" with Biden's policies when it comes to the direction of the country.

This is the second time Musk has had a conversation on Twitter.

In the evening of 24 May 2023, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis launched his first campaign in the "Twitter space", but encountered technical problems. The conversation he co-hosted with Musk on "Twitter Space" crashed several times. Musk blamed the problems on audience numbers and his large Twitter following.

During the conversation, Kennedy paid tribute to Musk, who he credited Twitter for consistently fighting against "censorship" on the platform.

"I don't think we can have a true democracy if we don't pay everything to protect free speech," Musk said.

BIG THANKS to @elonmusk @DavidSacks @TulsiGabbard @balajis @RealOmeedMalik @shellenberger @kellyslater for engaging + enjoyable @TwitterSpaces. I appreciate all that attended. Visit https://t.co/gWqnMhHhwY to learn more + sign up to volunteer + don ate https://t.co/0odaSs9hOe

A supporter of free speech, Musk extended an invitation to Kennedy. In a tweet, Kennedy said Instagram would not allow him to set up an account for his campaign on the social media platform.

Kennedy: Silencing a political candidate is undemocratic

Kennedy tweeted at the time: "Silencing a major political candidate is profoundly undemocratic. Social media is the modern-day equivalent of a town square. How does democracy work if only some candidates have access to it?"

Meta (Facebook and Instagram parent company) said on Sunday (4 June 2023) that given Kennedy's status as a presidential candidate, it will restore his personal Instagram account and that his campaign can now set up an account on the platform . His personal Instagram account was suspended in 2021 for questioning information about COVID-19 and vaccines.

Kennedy's anti-vaccine nonprofit, Children's Health Defense, was also suspended last year for spreading information about COVID-19 (covid, novel coronavirus pneumonia) vaccines on Instagram and Facebook.

Fighting censorship is a costly battle

As Musk said in his conversation with Robert Kennedy Jr., fighting censorship is a costly battle, even for social media platforms themselves. Musk said that Twitter has lost half of its revenue, including lost support from advertisers, because of its insistence on free speech.

Last fall, Musk completed the acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion and launched the "Twitter Files" (Twitter Files) project, which allows the public to better understand the decision-making process behind content moderation. After Musk acquired Twitter, he also oversaw the recovery of previously blocked accounts, including that of former President Donald Trump.

Both Musk and Kennedy seem to agree that democracy cannot succeed when speech and the flow of information are restricted.

Robert Kennedy Jr. said: "When we look back, there has never been a time in history when people who censor free speech were said to be good people. They must have been bad people, and that must have been the first step toward totalitarianism."

Kennedy praised Musk for posting a "twitter profile." "I can't imagine any Twitter lawyer telling you it's a good idea. I'm very surprised and delighted when you do it yourself," he said.

Kennedy slams covid vaccines

Despite his liberal pedigree, Kennedy has rocked the race with eclectic policy positions since announcing his candidacy in April. Known for being skeptical of Big Pharma, Kennedy has slammed covid vaccines, which he blames for being rushed to market and proving to have dangerous side effects. That stance may resonate with some conservatives, as well as the Democrats that Kennedy is courting.

Kennedy is against Biden's approach to the Ukraine war, calls for tighter controls on the southern border, is against men participating in women's sports

Kennedy publicly opposed the Biden administration's approach to the Ukraine war and advocated for a peace deal. He also called for tighter controls on the southern border and a ban on biologically male people from competing in women's sports. All of these positions appear to be at odds with the Democratic leadership.

Kennedy told CNN in April, "I'm against biologically male people participating in women's sports, and I've seen those women work really hard over the last 30 years to grow the women's sport, I think it's unfair to them."

Kennedy, who was educated at Harvard and earned a law degree from the University of Virginia, is married to Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines.

Former New Jersey Governor Christie announces 2024 Presidential Candidacy

前新泽西州长克里斯蒂宣布参选2024总统

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie announced his presidential campaign on Tuesday (June 6) and will challenge the Republican lead, his former ally, former President Donald Trump.

Christie will again be looking to appeal to traditionally more conservative, establishment-friendly Republican voters and hopes to gain ground in the race between Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

On Monday, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu announced he would not run in the 2024 presidential election, while former Vice President Mike Pence formally announced his candidacy.

In addition to Christie, Trump and DeSantis, the sprawling field of Republican nominees includes former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott , former two-term Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson, multimillionaire entrepreneur and conservative commentator Vivek Ramaswamy, Michigan businessman Perry Johnson, Ryan Binkley, a Texas pastor and CEO of M&A, and former Montana Secretary of State Corey Stapleton.

Pence has already filed his candidacy, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum is expected to join the race on Wednesday.

Christie believes he can compete with Trump in the primary and appeal to independent voters, giving him an advantage in a potential general election against incumbent President Joe Biden.

His campaign is backed by a new super PAC called "Tell It Like It Is," made up of Christie allies, who are looking to his campaign to succeed.

In 2016, Chris Christie ran for the Republican presidential nomination, but he performed poorly in the New Hampshire primary and ultimately ended his campaign in February. He finished a disappointing sixth in an early primary state.

Christie understands Trump's weaknesses and strengths on the debate stage

However, Christie will have a key advantage that the other contenders do not: He has previously campaigned with Trump. He also worked with former President Trump in 2020 to help prepare for the debate, meaning he has a better understanding of Trump's weaknesses and strengths on the debate stage.

He led Trump's transition team, even though his work was ultimately undermined and Christie himself was sidelined in the days after the election. He then became a close adviser to Trump. He was nominated for several executive positions, but none of them materialized. He even participated in a mock debate with Trump in 2020.

After the 2020 election, Christie switched sides and became one of Trump's leading critics in the Republican Party.

Christie was first elected governor of New Jersey in 2009, succeeding then-Democratic Governor Jon Corzine. He easily won re-election in 2013. Before becoming governor, he served as New Jersey's attorney from 2002 to 2008.

The first Republican presidential debate will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in August 2023.

On the Democratic side, in addition to Biden announcing his re-election campaign, are Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, and writer Marianne Williamson Williamso).

Cornel West, a well-known radical scholar and former Harvard professor, also announced on Monday that he will run as the presidential candidate of the third-party People's Party.

彭斯提交文件 加入2024共和党总统提名人选赛

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) documents show that former Vice President Mike Pence submitted his 2024 presidential bid documents on Monday (5 June 2023),cuments, officially joining the ranks of the Republican nomination race.

Pence, who served under former President Donald Trump, is expected to launch his own campaign for the Republican nomination on Wednesday (7 June 2023). A spokesman for Pence confirmed the FEC filing.

Pence, who turns 64 on Wednesday, served in the U.S. House of Representatives for more than a decade, served as one-term governor of Indiana and established himself as a staunch conservative before becoming Trump's running mate in winning the 2016 presidential campaign.

It is unclear whether Pence will be able to raise enough money to be able to meaningfully compete against other contenders, some of whom are cash-rich to begin with or poised to benefit from the super PAC's big payouts. For example, such a group supporting DeSantis is expected to dip into the $200 million campaign budget.

Perhaps one of Pence's biggest hurdles has been distinguishing himself from his former boss while emphasizing his accomplishments in the "Trump-Pence administration."

Pence has said in recent months that the administration under Trump and Pence could have done more to rein in spending. He is also one of the few politicians in both parties to regularly call for reforms to Social Security and Medicare, and he has voluntarily touched the so-called political "third rail," or political red lines, that most opponents avoid, such as Race issues, gun control, etc.

Pence joins a growing field of Republican candidates including former President Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, South Carolina Sen. Congressman Tim Scott, former two-term Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, multimillionaire entrepreneur and conservative commentator Vivek Ramaswamy Ramaswamy, Michigan businessman Perry Johnson, Texas pastor and M&A CEO Ryan Binkley, and former Montana Secretary of State Corey Staple Corey Stapleton.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has joined the race on Tuesday (6 June 2023), and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum also plans to run on Wednesday, according to sources. The total number of candidates reached ten or more.

Pence, who was once close to Trump, has become increasingly estranged in the more than two years since the end of the Trump administration.

On 6 January 2021, Pence stated before the joint meeting of Congress that he had no power to veto the results of the controversial Electoral College vote. Around the same time, Trump said in a speech about two miles from the Capitol: "I hope Mike does the right thing. Constitutional lawyers have said it was 'absolutely right' for Pence to intervene."

Pence later said Trump's encouragement of rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on 6 January put his family and him at risk.

However, Pence's break with Trump has made him an enemy of some Republicans. In a recent Quinnipiac University survey, 35 percent of registered Republican voters said they disliked Pence, significantly higher than Trump (11 percent) and DeSantis (5 percent) and Haley (12%).

Trump remains the Republican leader, on track to defeat Pence and other candidates in the 2024 primary. Polls show Trump leading among potential primary challengers and firmly in control of the voter base that makes up a sizable portion of the Republican Party.

The growing number of candidates vying for the nomination has worried many Trump opponents within the Republican Party that anti-Trump votes may be split and the party's nomination will eventually be handed over to the former president.

Well-known radical scholar and former Harvard professor Cornel West announced on Monday (5 June 2023) that he will represent the third-party People's Party to run as a presidential candidate.

"I have decided to run as the People's Party's candidate for President of the United States in pursuit of truth and justice," West said in a video announcement posted on Twitter. He further added: "I am running in pursuit of truth , to pursue justice. The presidency is only one of the means by which we pursue truth and justice."

— Cornel West (@CornelWest) June 5, 2023

A prominent African-American scholar and author known for his academic activism, West served as Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at Harvard University and Professor Emeritus at Princeton University.

In the announcement video, West, 70, claimed he cared more about voters and their quality of life than any other party candidate.

"Neither political party dares to reveal the truth about Wall Street, Ukraine, the Pentagon, and Big Tech," he said.

West first left Harvard in 2002 amid a series of disputes with then-university president Lawrence Summers. In 2021, he left Harvard again due to tenure disputes, accusing the school of being "intellectually and spiritually troubled."

West has criticized former President Barack Obama as a "war criminal" and supported Democratic Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont in the 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns.

On his campaign website, West says his goals are to end wars, dissolve NATO, cancel all student debt, expand Social Security and invest in clean energy.

How strong is Trump? He polls ahead in his rival's state

川普有多强? 他民调在党内对手的州领先

In the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, former President Donald Trump is far ahead in the polls of other candidates. The candidates, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as well as former Vice President Mike Pence and former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley.

In state-by-state polls, including early voting and states where candidates have been announced, all largely show a significant advantage for Trump, according to a CNN analysis.

Unlike general elections, presidential primaries are not held on the same day, and the state that votes first has a big influence on the states that vote later. That's why Republican candidates are flocking to Iowa and New Hampshire, the first two states to vote in the Republican national primary.

Image : On 1 June 2023, former U.S. President Trump delivered a speech at the Trump Team volunteer leadership training event held at the Grimes Community Center in Iowa. (Andrew Caballero-Reynolds/AFP via Getty Images)

In recent years, candidates leading in national polls in the presidential primary have lost their party's nomination, in part because they lost the Iowa caucus primary. Examples include Republican Rudy Giuliani and Democrat Hillary Clinton during the 2008 primary campaign.

Both had trouble in Iowa during the 2008 primary cycle. In fact, neither of them has led in Des Moines Register polls since May 2007.

News (10)

Win early states win nomination

This year, Trump and DeSantis are the top two candidates in the Republican primary, according to polls conducted in Iowa and New Hampshire. For example, a mid-April poll by the University of New Hampshire put Trump at 42 percent and DeSantis at 22 percent.

Whether a candidate's performance in their home state lags behind national and early state poll rankings is one of the better ways to assess their competitiveness.

At this point in the 2016 primary cycle, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont was leading in his home state, even though Hillary Clinton had a sizeable advantage nationally. In the end, Sanders scored a very big victory in his home state, capturing more than 85% of the vote and winning all 16 of the state's sworn delegates.

Polls in home states are an important early indicator of a candidate's strength because voters there know those candidates best. If a candidate cannot succeed in his hometown where he already has voters, how can he succeed in states where he is new?

Haley does not need to worry about her popularity in South Carolina, where she served as governor. South Carolina happens to be the third-highest state on the 2024 Republican nomination voting calendar, behind Iowa and New Hampshire.

According to the latest South Carolina polls, Trump has a commanding lead in the state. A poll conducted by Winthrop University in early April had Trump at 41 percent, DeSantis at 20 percent and Haley at 18 percent. Senator Tim Scott (R-Tim Scott) is at 7%. Recent data shows that Haley's approval rating has declined, while Scott's approval rating has increased in the past few weeks, while Trump still has a large lead.

Trump is likely to maintain his lead and win the South Carolina primary, knocking Haley out. It is worth remembering that he did something similar in the 2016 presidential campaign, defeating Sen. Marco Rubio from that state in Florida.

News (11)

Trump's possible weak link

Trump also has what appears to be a weak spot, with his polls in early-primary states lower than nationally.

Polls in these early states overall suggest Trump may be a little weaker than the national data suggests. On average, he is around 40% in early states and around 50% nationally. In other words, a majority of voters in early states supported a candidate other than Trump, which is not the case nationally.

For Trump, a crushing defeat in New Hampshire or South Carolina (or both) would deal a major blow to his nomination prospects and cast significant doubt on the perception that he is bound to win the nomination.

For now, however, Trump may show some weakness in early voting states but perhaps not to the same extent as the national frontrunners he has lost over the past few years.

Trump has a strong base and loyal supporters in the Republican Party, and has certain influence among voters. To defeat Trump, other candidates will need to build strong coalitions, make attractive policy propositions and gain broad support.

Kennedy Jr.: Can beat Biden in 2024 primary

Image : Robert F. Kennedy Jr., founder of the nonprofit Children's Health Protection, in Los Angeles, California, on February 6, 2023. (York Du/The Epoch Times)

小肯尼迪:2024年初选能击败拜登

Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (Robert F. Kennedy Jr.) said he believes he has the means to win the election in 2024. Defeated President Joe Biden in the primary in response to claims that he was a candidate with little chance.

In a recent interview, when asked about his chances of beating Biden in the primary, Kennedy said: "Yeah, I'm going to win, public polls put me over 20 percent on the Democratic side." He added, "Our private polls show that I have very strong support among independents and even among Republicans."

Kennedy told Fox News in an article published on Sunday (14 May 2023), "We need to be able to show people that democracy works and that America is not like the Soviet Union where parties pick candidates and the public actually have no voice; we need to be the party of the New Deal, not the party of manipulation, and I think the public is very upset about that right now."

Kennedy's comments appeared to be a jab at the Democratic National Committee (DNC), as the party said it would not host any 2024 primary debates. Last month, some Democrats, including progressives such as former Bernie Sanders campaign official Nina Turner, expressed concern that the DNC was overly committed to Biden's reelection and protect him by not planning any debates.

The DNC has not made any public comment on whether to hold a debate. The Republican National Committee has planned about a dozen presidential primary debates, although former President Donald Trump has indicated he will not attend.

"We should try to convince the public that we are the Democrats, that we do believe in democracy, that the public can actually choose the candidates, that they can meet them, see them debate, reach out to them and participate in their governance themselves," Kennedy said.

Kennedy, perhaps best known for his critical comments on childhood vaccines, reiterated in a Fox interview that he is running in 2024 because he believes "the Democrats are on the wrong track right now" and "became a party that belligers, censors, and creates fear."

He continued: "In 1970, the middle class earned 62 percent of wages. Today, it's 42 percent, and the super rich have gone from 29 percent to 50 percent. So, right here, you You can see why so many Americans feel like they're living on the fringes ... even the upper middle class feel like they're living on the edge, and for most Americans, debt has become a fact of life."

Kennedy added, "We live in an age when a party allows militant neoconservatives into our foreign policymaking ranks and leaves our domestic policy to Wall Street and big corporations: many Americans, 57 percent of the U.S. people who can’t come up with $1,000 if their family has an emergency; a quarter of Americans are starving or malnourished, undernourished; and in our country, the middle class is collapsing.”

A survey released by the information consulting company Engagious/Sago found that some swing voters in Georgia who supported Biden during the 2020 general election were very dissatisfied with the Biden administration and hoped for a third-party replacement. They also said the president should debate his fitness for office with Kennedy, son of former Senator Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of former President John F. Kennedy.

Biden announced on Twitter more than a week ago that he would run for re-election in 2024, but so far neither Biden nor his campaign has responded publicly to Kennedy's candidacy or any claims he has made.

RFK Jr.'s other statement

Kennedy made headlines in earlierMay 2023 when he repeated his allegations that the CIA was involved in the 1963 assassination of former President Kennedy. The CIA has long disputed these allegations, while the Warren Commission (the President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy), founded by President Lyndon B. Johnson in November 1963, Established by executive order on 29 March] the report stated that officials believe the shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, is the sole suspect in the case. However, a House committee in 1979 suggested that at least two gunmen were involved in the Kennedy assassination.

A week earlier, Kennedy told radio talk show host John Catsimatidis, "There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in this murder, and I think there is no doubt about it at this point."

Kennedy Jr. later said that the first call made by his father (then U.S. Attorney General) was to a CIA officer in charge. "My father said to him, 'Did one of your people do this?'" Kennedy Jr. told Fox News' "Hannity" show last week.

He added, "His next call was to Enrique Ruiz-Williams, who was a member of Operation Bay of Pigs in Cuba (Note: April 17, 1961, CIA-assisted One of the leaders of a Cuban attack on Fidel Castro's government at the Bay of Pigs on the southwestern coast of Cuba) maintained a very, very close relationship with our family and my father, who also asked him same question."

Kennedy Sr. who was later assassinated in 1968 (i.e. Robert Kennedy) then called CIA Director John McCone and asked him to come to his house. Kennedy Jr. said, "When I came home (from) Sidwell Friends School (Sidwell Friends School), my father was walking in the yard with John Maicon, and my father asked him the same question, 'Is our What did people do to my brother?’ That was my dad’s first instinct that the agency killed his brother.”

Anti-red infiltration in Taiwan elections, all walks of life call for unfreezing the CCP proxy law

台湾选举防红色渗透 各界吁解冻中共代理人法

There are still nearly 7 months before the 2024 ROC presidential and legislative elections. In order to prevent the CCP’s red from infiltrating Taiwan’s elections, all walks of life in Taiwan appeal to the Legislative Yuan Unfreeze the CCP's "Agent Law". The law has been frozen by the Legislative Yuan for seven sessions for four years.

Lin Wencheng: The presidential election of the Republic of China next year should pay close attention to the CCP's election
On the 5th, the Supervisory Council of the Republic of China issued a press release stating that Chen Ju, the director of the Supervisory Committee, led the supervisory committee to inspect the special service command center of the National Security Bureau. Lin Wencheng, convener of the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee, said that next year will coincide with the presidential and legislative elections, and the National Security Bureau should pay close attention to the CCP's intention to intervene and influence the presidential election. Topics of concern to the supervisory committee include: the CCP’s cognitive warfare against Taiwan, false information combined with AI artificial intelligence, Douyin’s threat to national security, the court’s lenient sentence in the communist espionage case, whether military violations will return to court-martial, how to prevent the CCP’s use of associations, religion, Infiltration by gangs and specific media, information on whether the CCP is involved in the election of the president and legislators, etc.

The Black Bear Academy in Taiwan held a press conference a few days ago, and specially invited Cao Xingcheng, the main sponsor and founder of UMC, to attend. On 5 August 2022, Robert Tsao criticized the CCP for being domineering and announced that he would donate NT$3 billion (US$100 million) to call on Taiwanese to stand up against the Communist Party and protect Taiwan. Of this, NT$600 million  was invested in the Black Bear Academy to train 3 million "Black Bear Warriors" to assist in regional defense. ". Professor Shen Boyang, Dean of the Black Bear Academy, reported the results of the second anniversary of its establishment, and announced that it will provide online courses including cognitive warfare and identification of the fifth column, so that more people can participate and learn.

Shen Boyang was interviewed by the media and told The Epoch Times when answering reporters’ questions that the CCP has always had the possibility of attacking Taiwan by force. For them (Black Bear Academy), war may break out at any time, so the best way is now just be ready to deal with the energy.

Regarding the CCP’s infiltration into Taiwan, he said, “It is necessary to establish a complete rule of law system and investigative power, including the authorization of the law, where the investigation unit is, and the extent to which they can investigate, as well as public hearing or access to the court. This is actually because there should be a complete legal system, so that it is called the real face of red infiltration.” In addition, the CCP infiltrates not only individuals, but also money, such as the review of Chinese investment by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, which is the flow of money, how to come to Taiwan from China, or underground exchange.

Shen Boyang said that Taiwan's presidential election is approaching next year, and the CCP's "Agent Law" may have to wait until next year's session before it may continue to be discussed. "Because the CCP's "Agent Law" is still on hold this year, we will of course continue to promote related bills."

The promotion of Taiwan's laws is what Cao Xingcheng wants to do next. Shen Boyang said that legal initiatives (such as passing the CCP's "Agent Law") have always been their goals, and the most important thing in the establishment of the rule of law is public opinion. Black Bear Academy will tell everyone its importance in class, so that the rule of law will be promoted in the future Only then will many people respond, legislators will have the pressure of votes, and the Legislative Yuan will be able to promote it. So this is the role they can play.

To prevent the infiltration of the CCP, all walks of life in Taiwan call for the completion of the CCP’s "Agent Law" legislation as soon as possible

Taiwan's Foundation Progressive Party Chairman Wang Xinghuan, Taipei Party Committee Chairman Wu Xindai, Black Bear College Executive Director He Chenghui, and Taiwan Constitutional Foundation Director Song Chengen held a press conference a few days ago, calling on the Legislative Yuan to seize the final session and unfreeze the "Agent Law" procedure as soon as possible. Taiwanese society should not tolerate legislative laziness in anti-China (CCP) bills.

(Provided by Taiwan Jijin)

Wang Xinghuan said that the CCP's "Agent Law" was frozen in the Legislative Yuan, and Taiwan's foundation promoted relevant amendments in 2019, hoping to expose the flow of money from foreign forces entering Taiwan. The consequence of the lack of amendments is that there is little defense against the CCP's "buying Taiwan". He emphasized that how the world's democratic and civilized camps prevent the expansion of the CCP, Taiwan should legislate as soon as possible. The current legislature has only the budget session after September this year. The ruling party should face up to the severe situation in the Taiwan Strait. In addition to national defense reform and preparations, the CCP’s “Agent Law” must also be enacted to eliminate the CCP’s layout in Taiwan.

Wu Xindai said that before the 2019 general election, everyone spontaneously set up fans to fight against the infiltration of the CCP’s fake news. The whole society is aware of the horror of the CCP’s information warfare. way through. The United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom all have relevant registration systems and regulations for agents, and Canada is also under review. Taiwan is on the front line of the information war, but the legislative progress is too far behind. In particular, the average sentence in Taiwan's communist espionage cases is only 18 months, and most of them are bail and probation, which basically encourages communist spies in disguise.

He Chenghui believes that the CCP’s penetration into Taiwan is pervasive. Faced with the CCP’s obvious ambitions for external expansion, countries around the world, including Europe and Canada, are considering the establishment of the “Agent Law”. This amendment is an early warning of the threat of the democratic defense mechanism. If the democratic system is not defended, it will be difficult to carry out more values of fairness and justice. Without an early warning mechanism, it will be very dangerous. He called on all political parties in the ruling and opposition parties to ignore this important bill for no reason in the final session, and implored everyone to face up to the biggest loophole in the current democracy and the rule of law.

Song Chengen emphasized that the CCP has eroded Taiwan in recent years, stealing secrets, influencing public opinion, and influencing the direction of public affairs. It shows that Taiwan's democracy is currently facing various threats, and it does not work without effort. The CCP's "Agent Law" is to make up for the shortcomings of the current relevant national security laws. It is not that with this bill, all Taiwanese businessmen will be labeled as "agents". Only those who have received money from the CCP, have a connection with the command system, and work for the CCP's political agenda will be labeled as warning labels, transparently revealed.

Song Chengen also said that in the face of the CCP's large-scale infiltration, the "Reverse Infiltration Law" is not enough, and the "Agent Law" is absolutely necessary. To ensure that Taiwanese voters really follow their own thinking will, instead of being infiltrated by the CCP, using money to buy influence, and brainwashing voters. Both Taiwan and the international community have a lot of discussions on the influence of foreign forces. For example, there have been many issues of overseas police stations recently. "A free and open society, influenced by the CCP's money flow and threats, creates confrontation through many more detailed methods, which is a common problem facing the international community at present."
