Javier Milei was elected as the new president of Argentina with 55.69% of the vote! Neurotic X, who is called the Trump of South America by netizens, has indeed come to power. Originally, changes in Argentina have nothing to do with CCP China but this Argentina is a very critical node in the Communist country's space program!

Radical views of Milei benefit Argentina and the U.S.

The 52-year-old Milei, an economist by training, is the founder and main leader of the Argentine far-right electoral coalition "Freedom Forward Party". The views he put forward during the campaign are very radical:

"Our geopolitical alignment is with the United States and Israel. We will not align with the communists." Diplomacy supports Ukraine and plans to move the Argentine embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

In addition to making surprising points in diplomacy, the domestic policy is even more shocking:

- "Militarization of institutions during transition"

- Build for-profit “public-private” prisons

-Lower the age to be considered a minor

- Also proposed a "thriving free market for children"

-Abolish the central bank, abolish the peso, and use the U.S. dollar;

- Anti-CCP, freezing cooperation between the two countries;

-Cut off trade relations with Brazil and withdraw from the Southern Common Market;

-Relax gun control;

-The Falklands can belong to the United Kingdom; especially in terms of foreign economic policy, it cuts off relations with China and Brazil (Argentina’s two largest trading partners, accounting for 35% of trade volume) and freezes cooperation between China and Argentina. China mainly draws from Argentina. When importing beef, soybeans and other crops that cannot be purchased in Argentina, other countries will naturally fill the market. For example, Brazil and U.S. soybeans are both substitute importing countries.

Argentina plays important role in CCP's space program

However, there is one cooperation that no other country can replace. This is the deep space monitoring and control station in Neuquén, Argentina. This is the only way for China’s manned spacecraft to return. It injects reentry commands into the reentry corridor over the Atlantic Ocean. , completed jettisoning the propulsion module over northern India and the Middle East, re-entered the atmosphere over South Asia, passed through western Xinjiang, passed through the Taklimakan Desert, and landed at the Dongfeng Landing Field near Jiuquan. This is the return route for China's manned spaceflight, and it will also be this route for future manned moon landings. Therefore, the deep space measurement and control station in Neuquén, Argentina, is very critical.

Milei may scrap Sino-Argentine cooperation project

If the South American Trump from Argentina comes to power and cancels this major Sino-Argentine cooperation project out of a sudden impulse, it will basically end up with the same ending as the Kiribati Deep Space Station.

When Kiribati canceled this deep space station under pressure from the United States, CCP China's aerospace measurement and control was greatly affected. Although CCP has a large fleet of long-distance voyage series that can fill this measurement and control gap, for CCP's future normalized manned space industry. For example, the long-term measurement and control ship needs to be on duty in the South Atlantic for a long time. One reason is that the cost will be very high, and the other is that the mission will only last for several months, which will occupy a large number of supporting personnel and require very high support.

Image : Web Screenshot

However, the order of the deep space measurement and control station in Neuquen can be maintained for a long time by more than a dozen people. Compared with the two, no matter how good the long-distance ship is, it cannot compare with the ground measurement and control station. Therefore, this time Argentina has changed, and the moderates in the previous elections have Sergio Massa, the candidate of the left-wing ruling coalition Fatherland and the current Minister of Economy, admitted failure, causing China-Argentina cooperation to face great uncertainties.

Foreign Minister-designate: Argentina will stop cooperation with China and withdraw from the BRICS alliance

Reporter : Tang Di / Editor : Lin Qing / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/11/21/a103828386.html

Diana Mondino, the new foreign minister candidate nominated by the elected president of Argentina, recently told the media that the new government will stop cooperation with the Chinese Communist and Brazilian governments and will not join BRICS alliance.

On 19 November 2023, politician Javier Milei, known as the "Argentine version of Trump", won the Argentine election and will take office as Argentina's new president on 10 December 2023. Since Milei made no secret of criticizing the practices of the Chinese Communist Party during the election campaign, the outside world is paying close attention to how the new government he leads will handle relations with CCP China.

On Monday (20 November 2023), the Russian Satellite News Agency reported that Diana Mondino, who was nominated as a candidate for foreign minister after the Argentine presidential election, told the media in an interview that Buenos Aires authorities will cease cooperation with China (the Chinese Communist government) and the Brazilian government, although currently both CCP China and Brazil are Argentina’s main trading partners.

Asked whether Argentina would join the BRICS on 1 January 2024, Mondino replied, "No." She then added, "I don't know why (Argentina) is joining BRICS out of interest.”

Reports indicate that Milei plans to focus the new Argentine government’s foreign policy on cooperation with the United States and Israel, while terminating cooperation with China (Chinese Communist Party) and Brazil. He admitted during the campaign that he did not want to associate with communists and socialists.

Milei has also publicly stated that although Argentina is invited to join the BRICS from 1 January 2024, Argentina will not join the mechanism and does not intend to cooperate with Russia.

In August 2023, China, Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa, known as the "BRICS", held a summit in Johannesburg and announced at this meeting that the organization had invited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Argentina, Iran, Ethiopia and as its official members, the membership of the six invited countries will take effect on 1 January 2024.

Milei was an economist before entering politics. Argentina's economic and social situation has been getting worse and worse in recent years. He was devastated by this. During the election campaign, he vowed to operate at the root, administer strong medicine, carry out a major reform, and use "shock therapy" to save the country's ailing Argentine economy. He even carried a chainsaw at campaign rallies to demonstrate his resolve.

Publicly available information shows that Milei's major moves include significantly streamlining government ministries, drastically cutting public expenditures, significantly reducing various taxes, and vigorously promoting the privatization of state-owned enterprises. Most strikingly, he plans to replace the peso with dollars.

On Monday (20 November), Milei discussed his above-mentioned major policies in a series of radio interviews. He emphasized that Argentina will open the national economy to the global market in the future and will proceed with the privatization of the national oil company, national television and radio stations. He vowed that "everything that can be in the hands of the private sector will be in the hands of the private sector." He said that using a "chainsaw" to cut through the bloated government and dollarize the economy is his flagship policy.

At present, Argentina's financial situation is very serious. The government's foreign exchange reserves have been exhausted, the national treasury has been emptied, and the annual inflation rate in October was as high as 142.7%. The previous government also left a debt of 44 billion US dollars to be paid next year. For this reason The new government needs to negotiate debt restructuring with the International Monetary Fund.

Another serious problem facing Milei is that the "Liberal Vanguard" (LLA) alliance he leads has only been established for two years and holds less than 40 of the 257 seats in the House of Commons and only 72 seats in the Senate. 7 seats, and among Argentina’s 23 regional governors with real power, none is from the LLA alliance.

It is conceivable that under such circumstances, there will be many obstacles to carrying out drastic reforms of the government and economy.

Although center-right former President Mauricio Macri has formed a coalition with Milei, their combined power still accounts for less than one-third of the seats in the lower house and one-fifth of the seats in the Senate.

However, Milei won more votes than any president since Argentina's return to democracy in 1983. So, Oliver Stuenkel, professor of international relations at the Getulio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo, also believes that relying on the strong public support, Milei may be able to quickly pass his spending-cutting plan during his "initial honeymoon period" as president.

"According to Argentina's practice, the political parties will not block the first budget of the new president," Stuenkel said.

Another pressing issue is Argentina's ballooning debt problem with local creditors. In the past, Argentina's former Economy Minister Sergio Tomás Massa paid the bills by printing money, but Milei opposed this approach. "What this means is that there will be an economic shock, and the question is whether it will be orderly or disorderly," Milei said.

Breaking news! Xi Jinping pleads with Biden for $900 billion in bailout

Editor : Zhongkang  / Source : FX168 Finance /  https://www.aboluowang.com/2023/1122/1981303.html / Image : Web Screenshot

Strategic analyst and historian Gregory R. Copley wrote an article on the Oilprice.com website on 21 November 2023, breaking the news that although CCP China has experienced a serious economic crisis since 2015, Xi Jinping has taken almost no measures to solve this problem. It is reported that during his visit to San Francisco, Xi Jinping asked Biden to provide US$900 billion in rescue funds for the Chinese Communist economy. The article wrote that the leaked information came from within the Chinese Communist Party.

The article points out that Xi Jinping now clearly realizes that he is facing the end of his rule and has turned to Joe Biden to save him. Concrete reports are emerging about the drive that prompted Xi Jinping to "kowtow" to Biden at the November 13-17 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco.

Beijing began its charm offensive against the United States at least two weeks before the summit. Beijing had previously claimed it was hesitant about whether the summit would take place, but the start of a charm offensive was an important indicator of Xi's level of desperation and his increasingly erratic behavior.

Although CCP China's economic crisis has become severe and intense since at least 2015, Xi Jinping has done little to contain or correct it. Then, almost simultaneously with its charm offensive against the United States, Xi Jinping’s government began taking some cautious steps to reverse its anti-private sector policies and pledged unclear support for China’s private sector.

Over the past decade, CCP China has pursued xenophobic Maoist policies that curbed private enterprise and sought to bring the economy under the rule of state-owned enterprises.

The article writes that an important source from China reported that Xi Jinping formally asked Biden to arrange an emergency $900 billion bailout for the Chinese Communist economy. That specific detail could not be confirmed, but it is consistent with a sudden and urgent move aimed at stemming Beijing's belligerence toward the United States and insisting that the two countries can be friends and partners. The article specifically mentioned that the leak of this information came from within the CCP.

Copley said that without an injection of nearly $1 trillion, China's real estate market and other markets will completely collapse. In fact, even with such investment, mainland China's real estate market and overall economy are still likely to continue to decline.

The scale of private sector bankruptcies and the disruption and closure of so many factories cannot be reversed overnight, nor can foreign trust in China be rebuilt overnight.

The article writes, can such assistance save Xi Jinping? Maybe not, but it might be his only chance. In San Francisco, Xi Jinping was even forced to abandon the pretense that the People's Liberation Army was preparing to conquer Taiwan. The events represent a dramatic shift in Xi's policy, even as he has publicly stated that he will not abandon his intention to bring Taiwan into the communist fold.

In 2018, Xi Jinping stated that he had clearly "declared war on the United States." He said that this war would be a "new Thirty Years' War." Xi Jinping has said that his new Thirty Years' War will lead to a new "Peace of Westphalia" that will bring about a new "rules-based world order."

The article concluded: "Our Chinese sources did not indicate whether Xi Jinping received a response from Biden to this blunt and desperate request. There is no evidence that Biden received any warning about this request in advance, but when Beijing launched a charm offensive before the APEC summit, some people certainly expressed concerns. However, the charm offensive has no substance, and CCP's continued confrontation with the United States and its allies on the line of military confrontation proves this."

Ahead of his meeting with Xi, Biden said his goals included helping Communist China's struggling economy as long as such growth did not come at the expense of U.S. intellectual property.

Biden said: "If the average citizen of China can have a good-paying job, it will be good for them and all of us. But I will not continue to support those who believe that if we want to invest in China, we must hand over all business confidential position.”

Bloomberg said economic insecurity may partly explain Xi Jinping’s willingness to engage. The crisis in CCP China's real estate sector is dragging down the country's post-pandemic recovery.

Nazi propaganda found in Gaza schools, Israeli military says Hamas must be eliminated

加沙学校现纳粹宣传书 以军指必须消灭哈马斯

Hamas not only kills people, but also brainwashes Palestinians. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday (21 November 2023) released a photo of a Nazi propaganda book found in a Gaza school denying the existence of the Holocaust.

The book "The Big Lie: The burning of 6 million Jews in the gas chambers" was discovered at Al-Quds University.

“Under Hamas, school curricula promote extreme anti-Semitic behavior and call for the genocide of the Jewish people,” the IDF wrote on another reason to destroy it.”

According to the Arab website, the book claims that Jews lied about Nazi German dictator Adolf Hitler exterminating them in concentration camps. Jews spread disinformation to pressure governments around the world and shape public opinion in favour of Israel.

In fact, the German Nazis massacred a total of 6 million Jews during World War II (1939-1945). Concentration camps and gas chambers were the "ultimate solution" for the Nazis' genocide against the Jews while Hamas tampered with history and brainwashed children.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces discovered an Arabic version of Hitler's book "Mein Kampf" in a children's room at a Hamas terrorist base in Gaza.

"Hamas adheres to the ideology of Hitler, the culprit of the massacre of the Jews," the IDF said.

During World War II, Hitler met in Berlin on 28 November 1941, with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, whom the Palestinians regarded as the Palestinian national One of the fathers of doctrine.

According to official German meeting minutes, Husseini praised Hitler during the meeting, saying that he was "admired by the entire Arab world." Arabs were natural friends of Nazi Germany because they all hated Jews.

According to Deutsche Welle, tens of thousands of Muslims also fought for Germany during World War II, and Nazi Germany made a major attempt to ally with the Muslim world against the "common enemy."

According to the Israeli NGO Palestinian Media Watch, there are now several schools named after Nazi collaborators in Palestinian-controlled territories, including Gaza and Judea and Samaria.

Alan Dershowitz, an American lawyer and civil liberties advocate, wrote in Newsmax on November 21 that there are now many government officials, media, academics and others pretending that there are obvious differences between Hamas and ordinary decent civilians in Gaza. The difference is that the reality is much more subtle and complex.

Like Nazi Germany, Hamas was elected by the citizens of Gaza in the last election (2006). Today, they would likely still be re-elected with an overwhelming majority. Support for Hamas has increased dramatically since the October 7 massacre, with many civilians cheering the massacre enthusiastically.

Dershowitz noted that Hamas itself refuses to distinguish between combatants and civilians. It uses so-called civilians as human shields and declares them martyrs if they are killed, at least some of whom volunteer to serve as Hamas shields.

Moreover, Hamas-controlled health authorities publish false death statistics and do not differentiate between combatants and civilians.

In addition, Hamas also actively exploits children, and Hamas considers children aged 13, 14, and 15 to be mature enough to be recruited. When death tolls are reported, terrorists are counted among the poor "children" mercilessly murdered by the Israelis.

Dershowitz emphasized that Gaza civilians who encourage, support, and cheer Hamas massacres (by Israel) bear some moral and political responsibility, if not strict legal responsibility.

Pervasive Hamas rocket lab hidden in Gaza mosque

无孔不入 哈马斯火箭弹实验室藏身加沙清真寺

Hamas bases are everywhere, and the Israeli military has made new discoveries recently. The 188th Armored Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces discovered Hamas rockets in a mosque near Zeitoun, Gaza City, as well as labs, weapons and tunnel entrances.

IDF spokesman Major General Daniel Hagari said at a press conference at night of 20 November 2023: "I want you to understand: a mosque in the Zeitoun area is being used as a laboratory for manufacturing weapons." Zeitoun is a Hamas' stronghold in southern Gaza City.

"The troops entered the mosque to scan and confirm that there were no traps. When they went deep inside the mosque, they discovered a tunnel shaft and a staircase..." he said.

"Terrorists build rockets in mosques and use Islam and Islamic icons to create terror," he charged, stressing that the Israel Defense Forces will continue to expose Hamas's use of civilian sites to carry out terrorist activities.

Troops found different types of weapons and explosive materials in the basement. A whiteboard was also found with plans for how to use rockets and trace the path of Israeli airstrikes.

"Holy sites such as mosques should not be used as front lines for terrorism. Hamas uses this mosque as a weapons storage facility and a Hamas rocket laboratory. Dozens of mortars, warhead missiles, thermobaric weapons were recovered, rockets and a tunnel shaft. What was once a place of worship is now a hotbed of terrorism,” the IDF wrote on X.

Although Israel vowed to destroy Hamas, it agreed to a temporary ceasefire in order to free the hostages.

According to the Times of Israel, in a key vote in the early morning of 22 November 2023, the Israeli cabinet approved a temporary ceasefire agreement by 35:3 to release approximately 50 hostages. The first batch of hostages may be released as early as the 23rd.

Israeli government officials informed reporters on 21 November 2023 that according to the agreement, Hamas is expected to release 50 hostages, including children, mothers and other women, within four days, twelve or three people per day.

In exchange, Israel agreed to its first four-day ceasefire since the war began and the release of 150 Palestinian teenagers and female prisoners. For every 10 more hostages released by Hamas, the ceasefire will be extended by one day.

In the morning of 22 November 2023, Israel announced another list of Palestinians (300 people) waiting to be released. If more hostages are released, the rest may also be released.

Although Israel has expressed sufficient sincerity to facilitate the release of the hostages, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said when convening a cabinet vote that once the truce ends, Israel will resume its offensive against Hamas.

"We are at war and we will continue the war," he said. "We will continue until all our goals are achieved."

Netanyahu stressed that intelligence work will continue during the ceasefire to prepare the military for the next phase of fighting. He said the fighting would continue until "Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel."

U.S. media: Financial backers behind China’s propaganda campaign fund anti-Israel protests

Reporter : Li Zhaoxi / Editor : Lin Qing / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/11/21/a103828288.htmlImage : On 4 November 2023, pro-Palestinian crowds rallied in Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC. (Ali Khaligh/Middle East Images/AFP via Getty Images)

美媒:中共大外宣幕后金主资助反以色列抗议
After the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war, pro-Palestinian protests were launched in the United States. Tens of thousands of Americans chanted "End Israel." However, these activities were not spontaneous. There were people behind them. Strong support, with much of the funding coming from US tech tycoon Singham and his wife Evans.

According to a report by The Free Press investigative reporter Francesca Block last week, American billionaire Neville Roy Singham and his wife, radical left-wing activist Jodie Evans, have supported Hamas and anti-Japanese forces in the United States. Protests in Israel provide significant funding.

Singham, who now lives in Shanghai, is a loyal supporter and propagandist of the Chinese Communist Party. The media under his network are dedicated to "telling Chinese stories well." One of the media is producing a YouTube program, partially funded by the Shanghai Municipal Propaganda Department. Two other media outlets have cooperated with a Chinese university.

According to a report in the New York Times in August, Singham worked closely with the Chinese Communist government and media to financially support the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda activities around the world.

The New York Times investigation traced hundreds of millions of dollars in funding from multiple international groups related to Singham. These groups actively promoted discourse in line with the Chinese Communist Party’s external propaganda, including the Massachusetts think tank Tricontinental, the Manhattan-based People’s Forum, and the South African political party and news organizations in India and Brazil.

Singham was investigated by India's central agencies for promoting the agenda of the Chinese Communist Party. On 16 November 2023, the Indian Enforcement Directorate summoned Singham for questioning. He was accused of being related to a money laundering case related to the Indian online news portal "NewsClick". He is suspected of conducting pro-CCP propaganda in India by funding "NewsClick".

In May 2019, Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping announced the launch of a "people's war" and called for an economic and cultural war against the United States.

In the United States, Singham has been in the news for his ties to the People's Forum, of which he has been a major source of funding since 2017, a group that describes itself as "a movement for working class and marginalized communities." and "Incubator".

The group has supported several anti-Israel protests, including one in Times Square on 8 October 2023, the day after Hamas raided Israel.

Following the November 18 “Shutdown for Palestine” march, the People’s Forum proudly declared on , universities and media organizations, etc.

According to The Free Press, Singham and his wife donated more than $20.4 million to the People's Forum from 2017 to 2022, and the money was transferred to the organization through shell organizations and advisory groups.

A report shows that as of 2021, the People's Forum, headquartered on 37th Street in Midtown Manhattan, had 13 employees and total assets of $13.6 million.

Manolo De Los Sar, executive director of the People's Forum, called the November 14 march in support of Israel in Washington a "march in support of genocide."

According to The Free Press, Singham’s mother is Cuban and his father is a Sri Lankan who immigrated to the United States. He grew up “under the influence of far-left politics.” At the age of 17, he joined a radical Marxist group.

In 2017, Singham married Evans, the presidential campaign manager of former Democratic political activist Jerry Brown. Evans co-founded the anti-war nonprofit Code Pink in 2002 to protest the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Code Pink has criticized the Chinese Communist Party for human rights abuses in the past, but changed its stance after Evans married Singham.

Now Evans firmly supports the CCP. She said in 2021 that if the United States crushes the CCP "it will cut off hope for humanity and life on earth." She describes the Uyghurs as "terrorists" and defends the CCP's large-scale detention of Uyghurs.

Israeli cabinet agrees to brief ceasefire to implement hostage exchange

With the mediation of many countries, the Israeli cabinet held a meeting and voted to agree on a temporary ceasefire in exchange for about 50 hostages kidnapped by Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "Tonight, we face a difficult decision, but it is the right decision."

Israel's cabinet met on Tuesday night and voted to adopt a temporary ceasefire. It is reported that according to the agreement, Hamas will release 30 children and 20 women; Israel will need to release three times the number of Palestinian prisoners.

Despite strong opposition from the opposition parties, with the mediation of the United States, Turkey, Qatar and other countries, outside analysts believe that Israel and Hamas will reach a short-term ceasefire agreement to facilitate the safe return of personnel from both parties.

U.S. President Biden: "We are very close to reaching (an agreement) now and can bring some hostages home soon."

The Israeli military said the return of the hostages was a key factor in helping Israel win the war. The signing of the agreement will not change the strategic goal of ultimately eliminating Hamas. The Israeli army is currently increasing its offensive efforts to put pressure on Hamas to demand the release of more hostages.

The Israeli army said on Tuesday that in the past day, it had attacked Hamas rocket production laboratories, multiple rocket launchers and other military targets, and completed the siege of Jabaliya, Hamas's main stronghold in northern Gaza.

Analysis: Wang Huning cultivated the Fudan Gang and promoted student to monitor the Fujian Gang

分析:王沪宁培植复旦帮 提拔学生监控福建帮
Recently, Wang Huning, a member of the Jiang faction’s Standing Committee in charge of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China, promoted his students to the top levels of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. Some analysts pointed out that Wang Huning's move was to plant a nail in the hands of Song Tao, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. The emergence of two major factions in the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council may lead to internal strife and reporting on each other, and a "Taiwan Affairs Office version of Qin Gang" may emerge.

News (12)

Student of Wang Huning went to the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council to keep an eye on Song Tao?

On 17 November 2023, the State Council of the Communist Party of China appointed and dismissed state workers, and Qiu Kaiming was appointed deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. As early as 8 November, Qiu Kaiming's job information was displayed in the "Organization Settings" column of the Taiwan Affairs Office website.

On the 9th, Qiu Kaiming attended the opening ceremony of the China Electronic Information Expo held in Suzhou, Jiangsu, as deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.

Current affairs commentator Du Zheng analyzed that Qiu Kaiming is 59 years old and is close to retirement age. He is rarely promoted. It should be Wang Huning who is in charge of Taiwan affairs.

The higher-level supervisor of the Taiwan Affairs Office is the Central Leading Group on Taiwan. The leader is Xi Jinping, leader of the Communist Party of China. Wang Huning is the only deputy leader. Wang Yi, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Central Committee, is also the secretary-general.

Du Zheng said that Wang Huning is well versed in the internal strife of the CCP. Promoting his Fudan student Qiu Kaiming is actually planting nails under Song Tao, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and acting as an informant.

He believes that the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council has special resources for the so-called "cross-strait integration" and in the process of penetrating Taiwan's military, political and business circles, CCP officials have many opportunities for corruption. It is very easy for Wang Huning to catch people.

In the past, the Fujian Gang was not always able to secure a seat in the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. Gong Qinggai, the former deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, is from Shishi, Fujian. He was investigated in January 2016. He was accused of soliciting and illegally accepting huge amounts of property from others, and was also involved in money and sex transactions.

Analysis: There is a risk of internal strife between the “Fujian Gang” and the “Fudan Gang” of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council

Wang Huning graduated from Fudan University and taught at Fudan for many years. He is considered the leader of the Fudan Gang in the CCP officialdom. He has successively concocted Jiang Zemin's "Three Represents", Hu Jintao's "Scientific Outlook on Development" and "Xi Thought" and other CCP theories. He is known as the "makeup artist" of the CCP leader, dressing up the facade for him.

In recent years, Wang Huning has become popular around the leader of the Communist Party of China, and has attracted a group of "Fudan Gang" who are engaged in theoretical packaging. He was retained as a member of the Standing Committee of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In March this year, he was appointed chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is directly responsible for the United Front and Taiwan affairs, and serves as the president of the China Association for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification. He is considered to be the architect of the Chinese Communist Party’s so-called “New Era Party’s overall strategy for resolving the Taiwan issue.”

Song Tao, the current director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, is a representative figure of the Fujian Gang. Although he is from Suqian, Jiangsu Province, he has worked in Fujian for many years. It is said that he had close contacts with Xi Jinping, who was serving in Fujian.

In February 2022, the 67-year-old Song Tao, head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, resigned from his post. In June, he was transferred to the CPPCC, which was already a complete retirement. But at the end of the year, Song Tao was suddenly appointed director of the Taiwan Affairs Office, and he was not a member of the Central Committee. This appointment attracted attention from the outside world.

Du Zheng analyzed that on the one hand, it may be because there is no one in the DPRK, Xi Jinping can only retain the veteran, but more importantly, Xi Jinping does not trust others. This situation is similar to Xi’s princeling friend Zhang Youxia remaining on the Military Commission and Xi’s classmate Chen Xi remaining as the principal of the Central Party School.

Due to the close relationship between Fujian and Taiwan, in order to facilitate the united front, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China usually assigns a native Fujian official. Pan Xianzhang, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, is a native of Quanzhou, Fujian Province and can speak fluent Hokkien. Moreover, he, Cai Qi, Huang Kunming, and Song Tao are all alumni of Fujian Normal University, and he and He Lifeng are alumni of the Department of Economics of Xiamen University.

The Fujian Gang headed by Cai Qi is being highly valued by Xi Jinping. As the CCP escalates the situation across the Taiwan Strait through civil and military intimidation, officials from the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council may be even more heavily relied upon in the future.

In addition, Chen Yuanfeng, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, is a remnant of the previous dynasty. He is a native of Wangkui County, Heilongjiang, and was also a member of the 2015 "Xi-Hockey Club" meeting. However, he is nearly 60 years old and is believed to be retiring soon and will not be a key figure in future officialdom infighting.

At present, it is rare for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council to have two major gangs and a remnant of the previous dynasty. Du Zheng believes that the CCP is clamoring for "peaceful reunification" of Taiwan, but there is not necessarily peace within the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.

Du Zheng analyzed that the "Fudan Gang" led by Wang Huning and Qiu Kaiming and the "Fujian Gang" led by Song Tao and Pan Xian may give rise to civil strife under certain circumstances across the Taiwan Strait. For example, due to mutual reporting, a "Taiwan Affairs Office version of Qin Gang" will "emerge".

Democratic Progressive Party Chairman and presidential candidate Lai Ching-te has completed registration with Hsiao Meiqin to run for president and vice president. Lai once again declared the goal of "the president and vice president were elected with a high vote, and the Congress must have more than half" at the Central Committee of the CPC Central Committee in the afternoon. In order to shoulder three important responsibilities, including the demands of mainstream public opinion, the direction of the country not to go back, and Taiwan not to be subject to civil strife, Lai emphasized that the DPP has an unshirkable responsibility and must win the election so that the country does not go back.

Lai Ching-te said that he and Ambassador Hsiao Bi-khim, the representative in the United States, have completed the registration for the president and vice president, and the list of non-district legislators has been announced, which has won the recognition of the society. The spirit of the democratic alliance in the field is in sharp contrast to the list of opposition parties. The purpose of the Democratic Progressive Party is to gather the strength of all walks of life in Taiwan and jointly shoulder Taiwan's historic moment.

Lai pointed out that after the election registration ends this Friday, they will clearly know how many groups of candidates there are in this presidential election. In other words, the election has entered another stage. We are very much looking forward to whether it is regional legislators or non-regional legislators, as well as the presidential and vice-presidential elections. Everyone can unite and cooperate. Not only the president and vice-president must be elected with a high vote, but also Congress also needs to have a majority. "This is our mission, and this is the only way we can go. We must bravely shoulder this responsibility."

Chairman Lai Ching-te said, "For the President and Vice President to win, the Congress must have a majority" to shoulder three important responsibilities. The first is the requirement of mainstream public opinion. The DPP has won public support in many polls to continue to govern, with up to 7 30% of the people disapprove of the Kuomintang's return to power, and up to 80% of the people do not support the Kuomintang's party in power. Under such circumstances, in order to conform to the mainstream public opinion, the DPP has an unshirkable responsibility and must win the election. Choose the right people, take the right path, and shoulder the important responsibilities of the country together.

Lai pointed out that the second is the direction of the country. The international community is very concerned about Taiwan's choice in this election. Whether the people trust Taiwan or rely on China, the DPP represents trust in Taiwan and let Taiwan be on the road to democracy. In the direction of continued growth, under this situation, we have the responsibility to prevent the country from turning back and not being locked into one China.

Third, Lai Ching-te emphasized that the current international situation is complex and Taiwan cannot tolerate chaos or civil strife. Both he and Hsiao have 20 to 30 years of political experience and are well-trained. In addition, President Tsai Ing-wen has achieved more than 7 years of governance. He said, "We also have a complete governing team. In this complex internal and external situation, we have the responsibility to make the country move forward steadily. This is also another important responsibility of ours. We hope that the entire party will call on the people to give the greatest support to complete the tasks of the president. The goal is to have the vice president elected with a high vote and get a majority in Congress."

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council named "Lai Xiaopei", Huang Weihan: "Whoever the CCP chokes" will be elected

Voters in the 2024 presidential election are calling for Lai and Xiao to be elected. The Taiwan Affairs Office of China criticized the "dual independence combination" of presidential candidate Lai Qingde and Representative to the United States Hsiao Bi-khim as "independence plus independence" ”. In this regard, senior media person Huang Weihan commented, "Whoever the CCP chokes will be elected." This has been the case in the past. Next year, "we will wait for 113 to reveal the answer."

Huang Weihan stated in a Facebook post that the deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office also said that if Lai Ching-te is elected, it will accelerate the speed of cross-strait reunification. If the Kuomintang is in power, it can delay the reunification. The Taiwan Affairs Office intimidates Taiwan and publicly introduces the election. I am not very clear about the cross-strait talk. These words are intended, but based on Taiwan’s past election experience, such talk from the other side of the Taiwan Strait usually has the opposite effect.

Huang Weihan pointed out that during the Taiwan Strait missile crisis in 1996, CCP China was dissatisfied with Taiwan's "democratic direct election of the president" and dissatisfied with Lee Teng-hui's visit to the United States the previous year to talk about "the Republic of China in Taiwan", so it fired two missiles off the coast of Keelung and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Lee Teng-hui was elected with a high vote (54%). That year, the DPP Peng Min-min and Hsieh Chang-ting's combination only won 21% of the votes.

Huang Weihan said bluntly, "Why is this happening? Because even supporters of the Democratic Progressive Party in 1996 were worried that this 'leader who dared to confront the CCP" would not be elected in the end' (there was also a group of Lin Haopai in the Pan-Blue Party at that time), so they 'concentrated their votes' and voted for Lee Teng-hui, the simple conclusion is, whoever the CCP chokes will be elected. This has been the case in the past, and we will wait for 113 to reveal the answer next year."

Lai Ching-te and Hsiao Bi-khim register for the presidential election while the "Blue and White" combination has not yet been determined

Taiwan’s presidential election is less than two months away. There are currently four candidates in Taiwan who have announced their candidacy: Lai Ching-te of the Democratic Progressive Party, Hou Yu-ih of the Kuomintang, Ko Wenje of the People’s Party, and independent candidate Terry Gou. Now someone has finally announced his candidacy's partner and officially registered.

Speaking of which, Lai Ching-te officially announced that Representative Hsiao Bi-khim, the representative in the United States, will be his running mate on Monday. The two of them specially appeared on Tuesday wearing badges with cats and dogs on their chests, symbolizing the unity of the cat faction and the dog faction. In addition to seeing their political attitudes from their official speeches, we can also see their character and politicians' background from some personal action details.

Lai Ching-te and Hsiao Bi-khim completed their registration and walked out of the door. They gave about 5 minutes of official speeches about their candidacy. They did not use a notebook or a teleprompter. They were sincere and concise.

Lai Ching-te said, "Lai Hsiao Pei represents the direction of trusting Taiwan. The 2024 general election is a choice between returning to the old path of the one-China principle or the path of democracy. He firmly believes that "the people of Taiwan are trusting Taiwan and allowing Taiwan to move forward on the road to democracy." Hsiao Bi-khim has previously reminded that "whether Taiwan can maintain its democratic values and whether Taiwanese people can decide their own future will have a profound impact not only on Taiwan itself, but also on the world."

The outside world has always had a question: When did Lai Xiaopei start? Lai Ching-te revealed that when he visited Honduras and transited the United States in August 2022, he extended an invitation to Hsiao Bi-khim. Unexpectedly, Hsiao Bi-khim did not agree at that time. Although they nodded after repeated communication, she put forward a condition.

According to the schedule for Taiwan’s presidential election, candidates from all political parties must complete registration on 24 November 2023. There are still three days left. However, the other three members of Taiwan’s opposition camp are still standing still. Originally, last weekend, Hou Yu-ih of the Kuomintang and Ko Wenje of the People's party had originally agreed to adopt a nationwide poll method and confirm the positive and negative candidates to work together based on the level of the polls. However, after the results of this "blue and white combination" came out on the 18th, the two sides had different views on the calculation of the polls. However, in any case, if they have not registered on 24 November, they would have given up participating in the general election.

Lai Ching-te's choice of Hsiao Bi-khim as his deputy is definitely a plus. First of all, although he has rich administrative experience in Taiwan but lacks diplomatic experience. As the representative of the Republic of China in the United States, Hsiao Bi-khim just makes up for this weakness. As a woman and born in the 1970s, her experience of attending a junior high school in Taiwan and high school and college in the United States will undoubtedly bring more support from women and young voters to this pairing.

On the same day that Lai Xiaopei officially registered, the famous American "Time Magazine" published an exclusive interview with Lai Ching-te, believing that if the DPP was in power for three consecutive terms, it would mean "Chinese suspicions theory". In fact, to be precise, it is "Chinese Communist suspicions theory" has become deeply ingrained in Taiwanese society.

The title of this exclusive interview in Time Magazine is: "Taiwan's presidential election front-runner faces balancing strategy with China." Lai Ching-te said in an exclusive interview that the DPP will safeguard Taiwan's sovereignty and will not subscribe to the "illusion of unity." It will expand its economic network with the international community and make Taiwan an indispensable part of the global economy. Lai Ching-te's response to the very sensitive "independence" voices within Taiwan is rising. He said, "More and more young people support independence today, which means firm support for our way of life, including democracy, freedom and respect human rights."

The "Time" magazine article also pointed out that by the end of October, Lai Ching-te's support rate was 32%, leading the Kuomintang Hou Yu-ih's 22%, the Taiwan People's Party Ko Wenjr's 20%, and Hon Hai Technology Group founder Terry Gou's 5%.

What is interesting is that the CCP continues to maintain its usual rapid response this time. Lai Hsiao Pei has just registered to run for office here, and the CCP immediately began to provide alternative “election support” for Lai Xiaopei. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China criticized "Lai Hsiao Pei" as "independence adds to independence." CCTV issued another comment on Monday night, criticizing Lai Hsiao Pei as "the most dangerous duo."

In response to the CCP's attack on "Lai Hsiao Pei", Lai Ching-te  immediately responded, saying that the CCP's irresponsible remarks on this election are enough to prove that the CCP is intervening in Taiwan's election. The CCP was dumbfounded. Lai Ching-te said that "Chinese officials have not experienced the baptism of democracy, so there is no need to reply to their speeches."
