U.S. lawmakers have spoken out, urging Biden not to fall into the CCP’s trap

美国议员纷纷发声 促拜登勿入中共圈套
The U.S.-CCP China Summit is held in San Francisco on 15 November 2023. On the eve of the summit, members of the U.S. Congress spoke out one after another, urging President Biden not to fall into the CCP’s trap and to maintain a tough stance in front of the CCP. Some U.S. congressmen said that the CCP will not abide by any agreement reached with the CCP and will instead harm the interests of the American people.

The U.S.-China summit is being held at a time when the CCP is facing severe economic difficulties at home: the real estate industry is in deep crisis; public consumption is weak; the youth unemployment rate exceeds 20%, a record high; and local government debts are high.

On the eve of the summit, the Chinese Communist Party’s official media also uncharacteristically softened its tone. In addition to promoting U.S.-China cooperation, they also sang praises of U.S.-China friendship. This alarmed members of the U.S. Congress. They separately expressed their views on the summit on social media platform X on Wednesday and warned Biden not to be deceived.

The House Energy and Commerce Committee said President Biden and the leader of the Chinese Communist Party will meet today, but to remember that "China (the Chinese Communist Party) and our values are different."

Senator Eric Schmitt said on X, “We need to start putting America first and not kowtow to China.”

Rep. Ken Calvert warned that any agreement with CCP China would actually only harm the American people because CCP would not abide by the agreement.

“The problem with signing an agreement with China is that only one side will actually abide by the agreement, which does a disservice to ordinary Americans who suffer from increased regulations and taxes.”

Senator Deb Fischer warned the Biden administration not to be naive in thinking that more talks will change the CCP.

Senator Eric Schmitt urged Biden to stop showing weakness against America's main adversaries and "I will continue to advocate for the power of China (CCP) on a global scale."

Senator Marsha Blackburn posted multiple tweets on Wednesday. She said the Xi regime is in economic trouble and needs the United States to rescue it. Instead, Biden should increase pressure on the Chinese Communist regime by imposing tough sanctions on CCP China and maintaining current sanctions.

Biden must reconsider what can be accomplished by this meeting. What can the president say to Xi that the U.S. hasn’t said in the past three decades? What has the Biden administration substantively accomplished through its diplomacy with China?

— Sen. Marsha Blackburn (@MarshaBlackburn) November 15, 2023

Blackburn said Biden must rethink what the meeting can accomplish. What else can the president say to the leader of the Chinese Communist Party that the United States has not said in the past thirty years? What substantive achievements has the Biden administration achieved through diplomacy with CCP China?

She also said that although the United States has made the CCP aware of its complicity in the proliferation of fentanyl in the United States for many years, the CCP still plays a role in the deaths of thousands of Americans every year. The purpose of the Chinese Communist Party leader's trip is to "sweet-talk Biden so that the government has an excuse to lift sanctions against Communist China."

Senator Tom Cotton said President Biden should confront the leader of the Chinese Communist Party over issues such as China sending spy balloons inside the United States, cheating on trade deals or hacking American computers.

Senator Joni Ernst said that this summit between the United States and the Communist Party of China will release more tensions on the world stage by seeking to establish a so-called "economic reset" with the Communist Party of China rather than prioritizing the national security of Americans. A sign of weakness.

"Biden must not fall into Beijing's trap. This moment requires the power of the United States."

The "Biden-Xi Meeting" has just ended. Biden: Xi Jinping is a "dictator"

According to comprehensive foreign media reports, U.S. President Biden held a press conference after the "Biden-Xi Meeting". He said that the meeting with Xi Jinping was the most constructive and fruitful discussion. Biden said that "we will not all agree," but his meetings with Xi Jinping were always "straightforward".

However, when the media asked whether he would still call Xi Jinping a "dictator" as he did in the past, Biden gave an affirmative answer, "He is (a dictator)." "I mean, he is a dictator, because he runs a communist country." The Chinese Communist government is "completely different from our government."

At a political fundraiser held in California in June, Biden compared Xi Jinping to a dictator when commenting on Xi Jinping’s response to the downing of a Chinese balloon by a U.S. fighter jet in February; Bloomberg pointed out that Biden’s remarks may trigger CCP's dissatisfaction and may undermine the achievements of this "Biden-Xi Meeting".

安徽农妇手指受伤被转院身亡 揭大陆医院乱象

Recently, an Anhui peasant woman’s fingers were cut off by a farm machine. After being sent to the hospital, she was asked to transfer to a private hospital. She died suddenly after the operation, which triggered heated discussions. Many netizens said that they had also been tortured. Transfer from public hospital to small hospital or private hospital.

On 15 November 2023, Mainland China News reported that in the evening of 31 October, a peasant woman in Hefei, Anhui Province had her fingers broken while operating agricultural machinery. She was sent to the High-tech Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and was contacted by an emergency doctor. He was transferred to the Orthopedics Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Traumatology Affiliated to the Anhui Institute of Wound and Microsurgical Technology for surgery. On 11 November, the peasant woman died suddenly in this hospital.

According to the farmer's son, his mother's fingers were caught in the farm machinery while doing farm work in her hometown. The family called 120 and was taken to the High-tech Campus of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University for treatment.

"After the examination, the doctor on duty in the emergency department told us that there is currently no way to arrange surgery, but the finger replacement surgery should be done as early as possible. He can help us contact other hospitals for surgery." The farmer's wife's son said that the doctor on duty then made a phone call. The hospital transferred her mother to the Orthopedics Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to the Anhui Provincial Institute of Wound and Microsurgery Technology.

After the finger replacement operation was performed that night, the doctor said that the cost was about 30,000 to 40,000 yuan. The injured person had inflammation and could be discharged from the hospital in about 10 days. But on the morning of November 11, his mother suddenly fell into coma and died after rescue efforts failed.

The farmer's wife's son said that his mother is 54 years old and has always been in good health. "Why did the doctor from the public tertiary hospital contact me to a private hospital for surgery? Is there any profit motive in it?"

This report sparked heated discussions among netizens. On Tencent’s news page, many netizens shared their own similar experiences.

A Beijing netizen said, "My child suffered a fracture some time ago. I was in the maternal and child care department. The doctor suggested that I go to Peking University Children's Hospital or Jishuitan Hospital. I am not familiar with these two hospitals, but I heard that Peking University Children's Hospital is very authoritative, so I went there for the first time." I was immediately sent to the emergency room. The emergency doctor saw that the beds were currently tight and it would take more than a week to be admitted to the hospital. At that time, the baby was crying in pain, and then told me to consider transferring him to a Red Cross hospital in Fengtai. Know the hospital.”

The female netizen said that her first reaction was that it was too abnormal, so she immediately took a taxi to Jishuitan Hospital. After going there, the doctor adjusted her child's bones. She said: "At the time, I just felt it was unreliable. After seeing this example, I was scared even thinking about it."

Another Beijing netizen said, “My child also accidentally cut his thumb. The children’s hospital he went to also said that he would be hospitalized but there was no bed. They tricked me into the Red Cross Orthopedic Hospital in Fengtai, saying that It was already 11 o'clock in the evening at the branch of the Children's Hospital. I was worried about my child, so I went there and got a few stitches and spent more than 10,000 yuan. When I asked about it the next day, I found out that this hospital has nothing to do with the Children's Hospital. No, it's just like a community hospital, and the patients there are all tricked from big hospitals. A few stitches for the child's wound only cost a few hundred yuan, but he ended up being asked to stay in a hospital for three days, which cost more than 10,000 yuan. Quick money, the hearts of such hospitals and doctors are blacker than coal."

A Jiangsu netizen said, "I have a relative who unfortunately suffered from lung cancer. After the MRI, he was recommended to a small hospital for radiotherapy, then returned to this hospital for chemotherapy, and then recommended to another small hospital for a few days of recuperation, back and forth. It’s a toss-up, and the patient is already in an advanced stage and can’t walk on his own. He has to be carried even to get into a wheelchair and into a car, which is really unbearable.”

On 18 April 2023, a fire broke out at Beijing Changfeng Hospital, killing 29 people according to official reports. Changfeng Hospital has long-term cooperation with hospitals such as the 301 Hospital and 302 Hospital of the Chinese Communist Army, which has attracted attention.

Mainland Jiemian News quoted an informed doctor on 19 April as saying that Beijing’s top tertiary public hospitals and doctors cooperate a lot with non-public and even Putian hospitals, and even have their own “counterpart” non-public medical institutions. Doctors will also pay attention to applying for multiple practices in order to guide patients to "corresponding" non-public medical institutions; surgical departments will use imported consumables to attract patients to private hospitals for surgery.

Chinese Communist hospitals are involved in baby trafficking, insiders reveal shocking secrets

中国医院参与贩婴 知情者揭惊人黑幕
Anti-trafficking activists exposed Chinese Communist hospitals on the Internet for selling birth certificates of newborns, which attracted public attention at home and abroad. A few days ago, a public account published an article further revealing the secrets of anti-trafficking agents investigating the shady story of baby trafficking, as well as the tricks behind birth certificates. It was revealed that nearly 5,000 birth certificates had mysteriously disappeared in one hospital.

Medical birth certificates, which should be subject to strict control and supervision, are sold at high prices by hospitals, becoming a key means of laundering and selling babies. Chinese anti-trafficking activist "Shangguan Zhengyi" publicly reported that Jianqiao Hospital in Xiangyang, Hubei Province colluded with intermediary gangs to sell birth certificates, which shocked the world. The resulting public opinion storm is still spreading to this day.

Tencent’s public account “News Brother” posted on 14 November that “Shangguan Zhengyi” (hereinafter referred to as Shangguan), as the respondent of Tencent News, has been continuously updating the dynamics of the infant trafficking industry chain. By viewing its dynamic content and asking questions, we further clarified the mystery behind the birth medical certificate.

According to this article, Shangguan was a soldier. He began to pay attention to the phenomenon of child abduction in 2007, and volunteered to help victim families track down the whereabouts of their children, and became an anti-trafficking volunteer.

Once, Shangguan traced the whereabouts of a trafficked child and went to great lengths to find the buyer's home. Unexpectedly, the buyer slapped the birth certificate on the table and told him that it was a formal medical birth certificate and that they had a complete set of birth certificates. hospital procedures. The buyer even asked: "Why do you think the child was bought?"

This incident made Shangguan realize that there must be loopholes in the management of medical birth certificates in hospitals.

In 2016, when Shangguan was investigating child abduction and trafficking in Fujian, he discovered a birth certificate from Shangqiu, Henan Province. He twice publicly called on Shangqiu to strengthen self-examination of birth certificates.

According to Shangguan, on 30 January 2011, Henan Maternal and Child Health Hospital discovered that 2,885 birth certificates had been "stolen." The case has remained unsolved for a long time, and the Health Bureau only criticized the hospital internally and asked the hospital to conduct a self-examination. However, the following year (2012), after the original section chief of the hospital's office retired, the new section chief took another inventory of medical certificates when he took office, and found that 2,000 birth certificates were missing, so he had to publish in the newspaper to declare these birth certificates invalid.

In other words, in this hospital alone, 4,885 birth certificates disappeared mysteriously in two years.

The article revealed that over the years, Shangguan has reported many relevant clues to relevant agencies, but the results have been ignored. "Either the person cannot be found, or the punishment after reporting is only scratched." Even after he reported that personnel at a certain hospital were reselling birth certificates, The end result was that "the person who bought the certificate was punished, while the person who sold the certificate was suddenly promoted."

Because reports to relevant agencies often come to nothing, Shangguan decided to expose the relevant inside information he had on the Internet, bringing these people and their affairs "in broad daylight."

Shangguan also disclosed that during his undercover investigation, he discovered that it was actually not difficult to find relevant clues. On a certain short video platform, the sale of infants and young children was even blatantly carried out. Based on these clues, he pursued the case and found evidence that Jianqiao Hospital in Xiangyang, Hubei Province was selling birth certificates.

Image : Webpage Screenshot

Shangguan said that when he was undercover in Handan, an agency sent him hundreds of birth certificates, which became clues for him to collect evidence. In Xiangyang, he discovered that the daughter-in-law of the director of Jianqiao Hospital was an intermediary selling birth certificates.

According to him, how many birth certificates are issued in the hospital every year, how many certificates are used, and how many are left in the end. Although there are statistics, the relevant departments are usually only required to destroy or hand over the remaining certificates on their own, and "self-destruction" does not mean This link leaves room for the sale of birth certificates.

Since a certificate can be converted into at least over RMB 10,000, in many places, whether in public or private hospitals, birth certificates have become "the insider's wealth code."

中国护照免签又增一地 舆论嘲讽“荒野部落”

On 15 November 2023, the Chinese Communist Party officially announced that Chinese Communist passports have added one more visa-free destination, and the Pacific island country Kiribati’s visa-free entry policy to China has officially come into effect. Chinese netizens ridiculed: “This is the first time I’ve heard of this place.” “What kind of wilderness tribe is this????”

Kiribati’s visa-free entry for CCP China caused huge upset in the hot search comment area

On 16 November 2023, the entry “Visa-free access for Chinese citizens to another place” became a hot search topic. The Embassy of the Communist Party of China in Kiribati announced that starting from 15 November 2023 Chinese citizens holding diplomatic, service, and ordinary passports (valid for more than 6 months) traveling to Kiribati for tourism or short-term visits can enter and transit Kiribati without a visa. The total stay in the country will not exceed 90 days in every 12 months. If a single stay exceeds 30 days, you need to apply for an extension of stay. The extension period can be up to 60 days.

Kiribati is an island country located in the Pacific Ocean, with a land area of 811 square kilometers, an average annual temperature of 30°C, and a population of approximately 120,000.

The CCP was granted visa-free treatment in Kiribati, which triggered Chinese netizens to ridicule: "This is the first time I heard about this place." "What kind of wilderness tribe is it again?" "Awesome, hahahahaha, it is indeed a big country." "Forgive me I'm old and can't be seen on the map." "Based on population, we have diplomatic relations with a town."

Some netizens also questioned that the CCP wants to use people's hard-earned money to spend money: "Let them build bridges/highways for free. Give them money and loans, and they will not care about the lives of the people in the country."

Some netizens ridiculed the authorities: "When will visa-free travel with the United States, the European Union, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand be announced?"

"Britain, France, the United States, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, you have a good place. It's visa-free for us, and we can go and wander around. The places we go to are all barren lands, or places for adventure."

The value of CCP passports is much lower than that of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan

Under the tyranny of the CCP, the freedom of travel of Chinese Communist citizens has also been restricted, and the value of CCP passports is far lower than that of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

On 4 March 2023, Dai Bin, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and president of the China Tourism Academy, claimed at the Two Sessions that China’s passport is becoming increasingly valuable and has signed mutual visa exemption agreements with more than 150 countries, triggering public ridicule: “You yourself do you believe it?" "Are you blushing when you say this?"

"The problem is that most of these mutual exemptions only apply to official and diplomatic passports. Ordinary passports still do not have visa exemptions. Ordinary people still cannot enjoy them."

"Stop publicizing it, it's really embarrassing."

According to information from the China Consular Service Network, there are six types of Chinese Communist passports: diplomatic passports, official passports, ordinary official passports, Hong Kong SAR passports, Macao SAR passports, and ordinary passports held by most Chinese Communist citizens. The vast majority of passports that are eligible for visa exemption are the first three types of passports. The Chinese Communist ordinary passport is only eligible for visa exemption for more than 20 countries, and they are all small and underdeveloped countries.

The "Passport Index" ranking of Canada-based Arton Capital shows that among 199 countries and regions around the world in 2023, China's ordinary passport ranked 118th, Hong Kong ranked 47th, and Macau ranked 64th.

Another UK-based "Henley Passport Index" shows that CCP China ranks 66th, Hong Kong ranks 19th, and Macau ranks 34th in global passport strength rankings.

In addition, according to the visaindex website, CCP China’s passport ranks 67th, Hong Kong’s passport ranks 20th, and Taiwan’s passport ranks 34th.

The above information shows that the value of CCP passports is much lower than that of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Judge rules Trump eligible to stay on Michigan primary list

On Tuesday, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, released a list of candidates for the state's 2024 presidential primary, and Trump was also included.

Previously, some leftist groups in the state used the "January 6 incident" to invoke the Fourteenth Amendment and sued to exclude Trump from the Michigan vote.

Michigan Judge James Redford dismissed the lawsuit on Tuesday, ruling that Trump can be placed on Michigan's 2024 presidential primary ballot. The judge said Trump's qualification as a primary candidate complied with state law. Blinken opens APEC ministerial meeting criticizing CCP China without naming it

On Tuesday (November 14), US Secretary of State Blinken emphasized at the APEC Ministerial Meeting that the United States believes that Asia-Pacific economies can freely choose their partners. According to foreign media analysis, this is an attack on the CCP without naming it.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered a speech when chairing the 2023 APEC ministerial meeting in San Francisco, emphasizing that the APEC alliance is a force that strengthens the Indo-Pacific region toward freedom, openness, and prosperity.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken (2023.11.14): “The United States believes in a vision of a region where economies are free to choose their own paths and partners; where issues can be dealt with openly; where rules are agreed upon transparently and applied fairly; where goods can be , ideas and people flow legally and freely here.”

Although Blinken did not mention the CCP in his speech, his remarks echoed the rhetoric of the United States in recent years; the United States accused the CCP of bullying small countries in the Indo-Pacific region and trying to undermine the existing "rules-based (international) system of the United States and its allies." order".

Blinken (2023.11.14): “Our countries are working hard to promote a rules-based economic order, counter economic coercion, and enable innovation to flourish. These issues are important to the United States, they are important to Japan, and they are important to us in India. Many partners in the Pacific and beyond are important."

Blinken pointed out that in terms of our economy in the Asia-Pacific region, APEC has made real progress over the past 30 years and has a more prosperous future.

Blinken (2023.11.14): "(Asia-Pacific) The region's GDP has increased from 19 trillion U.S. dollars to 52.8 trillion U.S. dollars, and per capita income has increased approximately four times; millions of people have been lifted out of poverty and created vigorous development middle class. Expert: The CCP will collapse at any time and the four major conditions are in place

专家:中共随时会垮台 4大条件已俱全

The leader of the Communist Party of China, Xi Jinping, visited the United States and encountered an unprecedented wave of protests. The shouts of "END CCP" and "Down with Xi Jinping" were everywhere. Experts say that the Chinese Communist regime may collapse at any time, and the four major conditions for its collapse are already in place.

The leader of the Communist Party of China attended the APEC meeting in San Francisco. A large number of Chinese gathered in protest outside the hotel where the leader of the Communist Party of China stayed, shouting slogans such as "Down with the Communist Party," "Down with Xi Jinping," "Step down from the Communist Party," "Step down from Xi Jinping," and the scene was unprecedentedly grand.

Afraid of facing the crowd of protesters, the CCP took down the entire hotel and blocked the hotel exits with white and blue cloth. The hotel's glass walls were also covered with a protective film to block outside views. At the same time, the CCP also asked the United States to block the only way for the leader of the CCP to enter and exit.

However, the leader of the Communist Party of China was still surrounded by a large number of protesters, and the cries of "END CCP" and "Down with Xi Jinping" followed him everywhere, leaving the Chinese Communist authorities in a panic.

Guo Jun, editor-in-chief of The Epoch Times, said in Pinnacle View on 15 November 2023 that if two things happen, the Chinese Communist regime will most likely collapse. "The first is a serious economic crisis, and the second is a failed foreign war."

She said that CCP China's economic crisis is now underway and has basically gotten out of control. In the economic crisis, the CCP's elite suffered the greatest losses, so they are very dissatisfied with the current regime, as are the middle class and above, and these people are the foundation of the CCP's regime.

In addition, in the past ten years, the CCP has behaved aggressively in foreign affairs, shouting fights and killings, especially in tit-for-tat confrontation with the United States in the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea. If a war breaks out, it will definitely be a war conflict between CCP and the United States. "Whether it's a big war or a small war, the CCP's chances of winning are very slim. If the CCP loses, basically the last bit of legitimacy of the CCP will be completely lost." Guo Jun said.

Shi Shan, senior editor and chief writer of The Epoch Times, said in the Elite Forum that mainland China has now reached a turning point. He said that in fact, one characteristic of the Communist Party system is that its changes will be very sudden.

Shi Shan said: "We see that Romania was still shouting "Long Live Ceausescu" in front of them, and they shot him six days later. This is a very, very fast speed. This includes the Berlin Wall. What should the Politburo do if it is still in meetings? Deal with it, the wall over there has been demolished, and within a few months, the entire East Germany collapsed. This is also true of the former Soviet Union. This is a characteristic of all communist systems."

Independent TV producer Li Jun said in Pinnacle View that historically, when a regime collapses, there are generally four decisive factors. The first is a huge change in people's hearts, the second is internal division, the third is economic collapse, and the fourth is external dangers. The CCP now basically has all four factors in place.

The first great change in people's hearts, starting from the white paper revolution, people in China have been shouting, "The Communist Party should step down, Xi Jinping should step down." In fact, more people have not shouted out.

The second internal division is that the struggle within the CCP has reached a life-or-death stage. Recently, former Chinese Premier Li Keqiang died suddenly and mysteriously in Shanghai, highlighting the cruelty of the struggle within the CCP.

The third is economic collapse. CCP China's economic crisis is now very serious. The consumption index and production index continue to decline, and foreign capital has withdrawn in large quantities. Investors have no confidence in CCP China, and the economy is difficult to recover.

The fourth external danger is that the CCP is isolated in the international community. Li Jun said that now both the United States and Europe know that the CCP is their number one threat. If the CCP takes a step forward, a war between CCP China and the United States may be difficult to avoid.

Li Jun believes that these four factors are now present, and the CCP regime may indeed change and collapse at any time.

He also said that if China wants to truly transition to a democratic and free society, the awakening of the people is very important. He mentioned that since the Epoch Times published the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" in November 2004, 420 million people in China have withdrawn from the CCP's party organizations. After three years of investigation, he confirmed that this data is true.

"I think this is the largest peaceful, rational and non-violent spiritual awakening movement of the people in human history. In this process, many Chinese people have begun to wake up and see clearly the CCP's centralized rule. After the essence of democracy, I think there is a spiritual foundation for China to move toward democracy and freedom, and this spiritual foundation has been formed today," Li Jun said.

U.S. Congress report: The CCP is destroying Hong Kong society and urging sanctions on Hong Kong judges

美国会报告:中共毁香港社会 促制裁香港法官
A report recently released by the U.S. Congress pointed out that Hong Kong has been controlled by the CCP, adjusting Hong Kong’s original system according to the CCP’s preferences, and destroying Hong Kong’s “once vibrant civil society.” The "Report" is particularly concerned about the deterioration of the judicial system under the National Security Law and recommends extending the scope of sanctions to members of the Hong Kong judiciary.

On 14 November 2023, local time, the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC) of the US Congress released the "2023 Annual Report". The report directly pointed out in the section about Hong Kong that Hong Kong is now under the control of mainland China, saying Chinese Communist authorities continue to tweak Hong Kong's institutions to their liking and eliminate Hong Kong's once vibrant civil society.

The report mentioned that the Chinese Communist Party authorities have appointed "loyal" judges and officials in key positions in Hong Kong, thereby implementing the strictest interpretation of the "Hong Kong National Security Law", causing Hong Kong people to leave their hometown, and those who remain can only choose themselves censorship, or risk political prosecution.

The report pointed out that the Hong Kong authorities used the so-called "national security" as an excuse to charge Hong Kong people overseas, put bounties on some overseas pro-democracy activists, and tried to intimidate their families. The report believes that these actions show that stronger influence from mainland China is destroying Hong Kong's legal system.

The report specifically mentioned the case of Jimmy Lai and the trial of 47 pro-democracy figures who participated in the primary election of the Legislative Council, highlighting the decline in judicial integrity in Hong Kong, which is a historical symbol of Beijing's control of Hong Kong. The report considers these cases to be examples of the complete erosion of civil liberties in Hong Kong.

At the same time, the report pointed out that Hong Kong’s religious communities, trade unions and journalists are also facing increasingly severe repression and intimidation, and their ability to participate in civil society is also restricted. The report said Hong Kong's civil society had been further weakened in the past year, as Beijing's restrictions on religious organizations, labor rights and the press led some organizations to disband.

The report also pointed out that the "National Security Law" caused a large loss of local and foreign talents in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong government instead introduced Chinese human resources and investment to Hong Kong for development, and gradually dominated Hong Kong's business environment, making Hong Kong become like a "Chinese city." The report also ridiculed Beijing's so-called improvement of Hong Kong's international image as a superficial effort, purely to attract foreign investment business.

The report specifically describes the situation in which overseas Hong Kong people are refused to receive MPF. It believes that the relevant practice is to "punish" Hong Kong people who immigrated overseas after the "National Security Law" came into effect, resulting in about 90,000 BNO holders being unable to withdraw their money.

In addition, the report believes that as Hong Kong’s democratic movement gradually moves overseas, the CCP has also expanded the influence of the National Security Law overseas.

The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission of the U.S. Congress believes that the U.S. government should impose sanctions on individuals involved in restricting immigration freedoms in accordance with the authorization of the Hong Kong Autonomy Act, and recommends that Congress take further action to prevent U.S. financial institutions involved in the management of Hong Kong people’s funds from Institutions complied with the demands of the Hong Kong government, assisted in violating immigration freedoms and withheld the retirement funds of their rightful owners.

The report also recommends that the annual report on the Hong Kong Autonomy Law includes an assessment of Hong Kong’s judicial independence to assess whether the chief executive of Hong Kong or any other institution acting on behalf of the CCP has exerted undue influence on Hong Kong’s judicial system. According to the findings of the relevant report , recommending that Congress sanction personnel serving in the Hong Kong judiciary, including foreign judges serving on the Court of Final Appeal.

British universities receive funds from the Communist Party of China: Survey shows Huawei is the biggest source

U.S. media reported that research shows that many British universities have received large amounts of funds from organizations related to the Communist Army in the past five years. Among them, after the UK banned China’s Huawei from participating in the construction of local communication networks, British universities still received nearly 14 million pounds (approximately US$17.35 million) from Huawei.

Voice of America reported on 16 November 2023 that the British think tank Civitas sent a survey to 88 local universities on Chinese funding issues in accordance with the British Freedom of Information Act. A total of 46 universities responded that since 2017, they have received a total of between 122 million and 156 million. Chinese funds in pounds.

This report was supported in part by The Committee for Freedom in Hong Kong Foundation. Robert Clark, author of the report and director of defense and security affairs at Civitas, said that Chinese students account for about a quarter of overseas students in British universities, and the proportion of funds related to the Communist Army shocked him.

Clark said at the press conference that "30% to 33%, or about 1/3, of the Chinese funds received by British universities are entities directly related to the People's Liberation Army."

It is pointed out that among these funding sources, 16% to 20% of entities are subject to US sanctions because they are controlled by the Communist Army or because they are affiliated with the Communist Army.

The report pointed out that three British universities received Chinese funds from entities completely related to the Communist military, including the University of Westminster, the University of Huddersfield, and the Klan, which is famous for its defense research in the Cranfield University.

China's largest source of funds is the technology company Huawei, with an amount of 27 million to 37 million pounds. Although the British government banned Huawei from participating in the construction of the British 5G network in 2020, British universities still collected 13.9 million pounds of funds from Huawei.

It was pointed out that “China’s main nuclear warhead research institute provided nearly 2 million pounds to British universities, and nearly 5 million pounds came from the aerospace research institute of the Chinese (Communist Party) military.”

Clark said that the amount of some funds may be small, such as "China's largest supersonic missile technology testing agency provided 10,000 pounds," but related research includes military applications, and China may become a threat to the UK in the future. Accepting these funds was "very short-sighted and naive".

The economic crisis has forced CCP police stations to be closed down, and the downfall of the CCP has begun

Reporters : Tang Rui and  Luo Ya / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/11/16/a103825567.html

Recently, the public security bureaus in Guangdong, Shandong and other places in China have reduced the number of local police stations through abolition and mergers. Scholars analyze that China has fallen into a serious financial crisis and the collapse of the CCP has begun.

The Meijiang Branch of the Meizhou Public Security Bureau in Guangdong recently stated that starting from December 1, Wuzhou and Dongshan Police Stations will be abolished, and Chengbei and Jinshan Police Stations will have jurisdiction over their areas.

Two weeks ago, public security bureaus in Qingdao, Yantai and other places in Shandong also announced plans to "dismantle and consolidate" grassroots police stations. Among them, Qingdao will merge 9 police stations starting from October 23. Analysts believe that this shows that China's local debt has become very serious.

Zheng Qinmo, director of the Department of Diplomacy and International Relations at Tamkang University in Taiwan: "Because local governments are corrupt and rely on selling land, they are now being hit by the so-called real estate boom, so the entire local government is actually in debt. Very serious.”

According to data from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), China’s local debt totaled 92 trillion yuan last year, accounting for 76% of China’s GDP, up from 62.2% in 2019.

Lai Jianping, master of international law at China University of Political Science and Law: "Local areas have local difficulties. Because of the retrograde policies and measures adopted by you at the highest level, they have turned to the left in all directions, leading to a large-scale economic decline. Local fiscal revenue has shrunk significantly. Then local finance You won’t be able to pay your wages, and many local governments will go bankrupt. In fact, they are already at the point of bankruptcy.”

However, experts believe that the CCP's consolidation of police stations is only to control financial expenditures, and the authorities' efforts to maintain stability will not weaken.

Lai Jianping: "From the perspective of the highest level of the Chinese Communist Party, they are in great need of these thugs, executioners, and knife handles. They are in great need. Because the autocratic rule largely relies on these knife handles at the bottom to suppress the people and carry out all-round social control. "

In March this year, the Ministry of Public Security of the Communist Party of China issued a three-year "Action Plan" to local public security bureaus. The police force of city and county public security bureaus was transferred to grassroots police stations, and then extended to various urban and rural communities. It even included a plan, "intervention in family conflicts and emotional disputes".

Lai Jianping: "The so-called sinking means sending people down to fight with these people, right? How can you prey on the villagers, how can you extort money, how can you exploit the evil forces, and the higher ups don't care, then the people will just live like this. It’s even more sad because these people behave so lawlessly. It’s a very evil approach.”

The consolidation and abolition of police stations means that many auxiliary police officers may face unemployment, which in turn will bring about new social problems.

Lai Jianping: "This group of people is a profit-seeking group of people at the bottom of society. So since they have been laid off and their livelihoods are no longer secure, they will in turn change from perpetrators to victims; they will change from a suppressed group to a suppressed group. Because they may even become a new group of people who are anti-system, or a destabilizing factor in this society, and they will fight back.”

Zheng Qinmo: "Especially from the collapse of the communist regimes in Central and Eastern European countries, this was part of the disintegration of the entire social order, especially the security personnel and civil servants. The total of these combined will lead to the disintegration of the regime. This is a starting point for the collapse of the CCP regime."
