At 11.45 pm on 15 July 2024, a B737-800 freighter with EMS painted on its vertical tail took off from Yiwu Airport in Zhejiang Province, fully loaded with cross-border e-commerce goods, and arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Philippines two hours later. After completing unloading and return loading operations here, it took off again and returned to Yiwu Airport safely at 6.32 am on 16 July 2024, marking the opening of China Postal Airlines' "Yiwu=Manila" international cargo and mail route.
The Yiwu=Manila routes are the second pair of international cargo mail routes opened by China Postal Airlines after "Yiwu=Kansai".
China Postal Airlines flies to Manila from Yiwu three times a week, onTuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and the frequency of flights will be increased in due course according to market demand in the future.
