Thai Lion Air does not care about weight of carry-on baggage under self-check in

The above queue includes a passenger of Thai Lion Air that is bringing onboard three baggages including one backpack, one heavy hand bag and one carry-on luggage. He has self-checked in. He did not check-in the luggage.

Thai Lion Air requires the total carry-on baggage weight to be within 7 kg.

The Thai airline does not care about the luggage weight taken onboard in fact. The gate staff does not bother to weigh the passenger's baggage weight and he can take onboard three heavy baggages.

Hence, self check-in of baggage has its limit.
