Lara Trump, the second daughter-in-law of U.S. President Trump, announced on Wednesday (5 February 2025) that she has signed a contract to host a weekend show on Fox News.
Fox News announced in a statement on Wednesday that under the agreement, Lara will host a new weekend prime-time show called "My View with Lara Trump" on the media outlet's TV stations. The show will premiere on 22 February 2025 and will air every Saturday from 9 to 10 pm Eastern Time.
"Lara is a gifted communications professional who knows how to connect with her audience, a successful entrepreneur and working mother, and her inherent understanding of the American public and today's political landscape will make a gripping addition to our weekend lineup," Suzanne Scott, CEO of FOX News Media, said in a statement.
"I am excited to bring my voice back to Fox News to speak directly to the American people and highlight what makes this country so great," Lara said in the statement. "As I report on the success of America's Golden Age, I look forward to where it will lead our country and where this opportunity will lead me in the future."
According to Fox News, "My View with Lara Trump" will focus on the return of common sense to all aspects of American life as the country enters a new era of pragmatism. The show will feature weekly big-picture analysis and interviews with thought leaders, bringing clarity to the headlines driving the national conversation and impacting families across the country.
Lara is a former co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and played a key role in Trump's 2024 presidential campaign and the Republican Party's control of both houses of Congress.
Previously, she served as a senior adviser to Trump's campaign during the 2020 presidential election and as his spokesperson during his 2016 campaign.
Lara has extensive experience in the media, and her career began as a producer for CBS's Inside Edition program.
