Many citizens in Jiangyou, Sichuan, showed support for a bullied female student and were taken away by police officers in black

Fifteen-year-old Liu likely did not expect her boasts would become the catalyst for a small town's outrage.

In July 2025, in an abandoned building, she and her two sisters surrounded Lai, a girl of the same age. They slapped, kicked, and verbally abused her, ultimately forcing her to remove her shirt and kneel on the ground.

Cameras captured everything, including Liu's now-famous quote:

Do you think we're afraid you'll call the police? It's not like we've been in jail before... and we were out in 20 minutes.

These words are even more chilling than the violence itself. Over a dozen days later, the video surfaced, instantly igniting public outrage. People were puzzled as to how a fifteen- or sixteen-year-old could harbor such aggression and confidence.

Rumors circulated online that the bullied girl, Lai, had a deaf-mute mother. This made her an easy target at school.

On the evening of August 3rd, Lai's parents went to the relevant authorities. The mother was speechless, so she and her husband could only express their demands in the most profound way possible:

They knelt on the ground.

This photo, like a needle, pierced the entire Jiangyou area. A mother's silence speaks volumes.

The next day, yesterday, many ordinary Jiangyou citizens spontaneously gathered in front of the city hall.

Among them were parents and passersby who had seen the situation with displeasure. They weren't there to cause trouble; they simply wanted justice for the mother kneeling on the ground and her humiliated daughter.

Some in the crowd appealed to the leaders with both emotion and reason, demanding severe punishment for the perpetrators. Initially, the atmosphere remained relatively calm.

They believed their voices would be heard.

As the sky darkened, more and more people gathered, and the security forces began to strengthen.

In the evening, reinforcements arrived. In addition to the uniformed police, a group of men dressed in black, with solemn expressions, joined the crowd. Their presence quickly cooled the atmosphere, bringing it to a freezing point.

The cordon tightened, and the persuasion over the loudspeaker gradually turned into stern warnings.

Then, under the police's command, the black-clad individuals began to move. With clear purpose and swift movements, they pushed their way into the crowd, snatching some agitated citizens holding cell phones and taking them away.

The scene erupted in uproar, with shouts and questions. But these noises quickly faded into the sweltering summer night.

During the day, the official explanation was that the individuals were taken away for:

blocking traffic and refusing to heed warnings.

What had originally been a righteous act of support for the victims was ultimately framed as a traffic problem requiring diversion.

Amid the turmoil, official announcements, like a delicate scalpel, began to dismantle the incident.

The Jiangyou police report detailed the decision regarding the three girls who committed the violence: either sent to a specialized school for correctional treatment or criticized and educated. The victims also received condolences and psychological counseling. The notice was flawlessly written and adhered to all procedures.

However, this notice failed to explain the crimes committed by the citizens taken away by the black-clad men.

A quick commentary article titled "Minors Arrogantly Assault Girls: The End of 'Beat-Up'" was shared across major platforms.

The article warned people not to rush, as the new law will be implemented next year. If such incidents occur again, even 14-year-olds could be detained.

The article was well-written, successfully directing public attention from that specific night in Jiangyou to the grand anticipation of future progress in the rule of law.

Everyone began discussing the law and analyzing the case, as if patience would resolve all problems.

At the end of the incident, the girl who bullied others was admitted to a specialized school, awaiting "correction." The girl who was bullied received psychological counseling and awaited "recovery."

But what about the citizens who spoke out for her but were taken away from the crowd by the black-clad men?

Their personal experiences have taught everyone a more complex lesson about reality.

"20-Minute Sister" Liu Moujia has made it clear that the price of some evil deeds can be very small. And this night in Jiangyou has made it clear that sometimes, the price you pay for standing up for justice can be far more complex. We watched the outrage in the movie "Nanjing Photo Studio," but it's safer to limit it to foreigners. Once you become indignant about the people and events around you, you and I will be the next to be taken away.

Are the people taking back power in China? Sichuan's uprising intensifies
— Jiangyou road closures are like "martial law," while Mianyang denies rumors that the perpetrators are the daughters of government officials

Mianyang City authorities labeled the rumor that "the bully's family has a background" as a "rumor." (Internet screenshot)

School bullying in the city of Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, sparked public protests reminiscent of the "Hong Kong Anti-Extradition Bill" protests. After authorities violently cleared the area, the county government imposed road closures the following day. Simultaneously, authorities began silencing and arresting alleged "rumormongers."

A 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou, under the jurisdiction of the city of Mianyang, Sichuan Province, suffered long-term bullying simply because her mother is deaf and mute. In July of this year, the perpetrator posted a video of the bullying online, sparking public outrage. In the video, the perpetrator arrogantly shouted, "I've been to the police station before, and I was out in 20 minutes." People questioned whether the authorities were "tolerating the perpetrator."

After days of public opinion fermenting, authorities finally issued a notice on 4 August 2025 regarding the incident. Local officials' arrogance in the face of the victim's parents' kneeling pleas and their lenient punishment of the perpetrators angered the public.

On 4 August 2025, thousands of people gathered outside the Jiangyou Municipal Government to demand justice for the victims. This resulted in a violent crackdown by a large number of Mianyang City SWAT police. Instead of retreating, the protesters rose in resistance, confronting the SWAT, public security, and plainclothes officers, chanting "Arise, those who refuse to be slaves!" Some also gave speeches, shouting, "The awakened people, the united people, are invincible."

This is not Hong Kong in 2019.

This is Jiangyou, Sichuan, on 5 August 2025.

In the face of injustice,

we must resist!

Not remain silent!

On 1 August 2025, immediately after Army Day, the CCP's SS troops launched their first round of repression into Jiangyou, Sichuan.

After midnight that evening, SWAT cleared the area several times, beating and arresting numerous protesters. Online videos showed some people bleeding from the head, and hundreds were estimated to have been arrested.

The following day, photos circulated online showing authorities still deploying a large police force, and the streets of Jiangyou were a scene of despair. Some sections of the road were blocked by metal barriers, leaving only a small opening for entry and exit, and the streets were virtually deserted.

Furthermore, after suppressing the protests, the authorities continued to "extinguish the fire" and "silence" online. On 5 August, the "Mianyang Internet Police" announced that authorities were "sending two offenders to specialized schools for correctional education." The announcement then threatened netizens, stating that two "rumormongers who fabricated the identities of the perpetrators" had been punished, and that the parents of the three perpetrators were all salespeople, delivery drivers, migrant workers, and the unemployed.

Previously, online rumours had circulated that the perpetrators' long-term impunity was due to family connections. Rumors suggested that their parents included a police chief, a lawyer, and a first-level police inspector.

Apollo Net commentator Wang Duran pointed out that campus violence was merely the trigger; what truly provoked the public outcry was institutional tyranny: absolute disregard for the vulnerable, the extreme violence of the stability maintenance apparatus, and the complete suppression of the truth. The authorities' use of "pig cage carts" to arrest people, including the dragging of elderly women, sparked outrage among the masses, shouting, "The awakened people are invincible." Protesters' cries were no longer simply "demanding justice for the young girl," but an indictment of the entire CCP regime. The CCP will awaken the Chinese people through repeated incidents like these.

Data from the Epoch Times' Quit the CCP website indicates that as of 5 August 2025, over 450 million people worldwide have declared their withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers (CYL), sparking a massive wave of "Three Withdrawals." This awakening movement began with the publication of the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" series in November 2004, exposing the CCP's numerous crimes. Since then, Chinese people worldwide have been "quitting the CCP" to ensure their safety. Since 2005, July of each year has been designated "Quit the CCP Month."

Data shows:

The number of people who withdrew from the CCP surpassed one million in April 2005;

It surpassed ten million on 25 April 2006;

It reached 100 million in August 2011;

It surpassed 200 million in April 2015;

It surpassed 300 million in March 2018;

It surpassed 400 million in August 2022;

It surpassed 450 million in August 2025!

In their statement withdrawing from the CCP, mainland Chinese citizens "Fu Fangfang and two others" wrote: "The CCP is a cult, a demon. It kills, robs, poisons children, and steals organs. We must withdraw from the CCP to maintain our safety." A citizen named "Zhong Gongwang" stated: "This regime is inhumane from top to bottom, poisoning the entire nation. It has no justice!"

Wang Duran pointed out that the Jiangyou uprising, the international hacker "box opening," the people kneeling in protest, the official cold-blooded speech, and the surge in the number of people withdrawing from the CCP are no longer isolated incidents, but rather signals of a major change on the eve of the Great Rebellion. The CCP uses all its totalitarian means to silence, arrest, and whitewash people, but it cannot conceal the impending "final reckoning" in Chinese society.

Can the people, inspired by the cries of Jiangyou, truly reclaim their plundered dignity and political power? The 450 million people who have withdrawn from the CCP worldwide are already answering this question.

School bullying in Jiangyou, Sichuan, triggers large-scale clashes between police and citizens

A girl in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, was bullied, and the Chinese Communist Party's inaction sparked widespread protests. Authorities deployed a large number of special police officers, resulting in clashes between the two sides and the violent beatings and arrests of numerous protesters.

Recently, a 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou was taken to an unfinished building by her peers, forced to strip, and subjected to verbal abuse and a group beating. The perpetrators posted a video online, sparking public outrage. Locals revealed that the victim's mother is deaf and mute, and that the girl was frequently bullied. The perpetrators were previously taken to the police station but were quickly released without punishment due to being minors. After the video was released, despite repeated urgings from the victim's family, the authorities continued to delay and ignore the matter for days. Some netizens alleged that some of the perpetrators were descendants of local dignitaries.

Under intense public pressure from netizens demanding punishment for the perpetrators, local police issued a notice on 4 August 2025, stating only that the victim had suffered "minor injuries" and that two of the perpetrators had been given "public security penalties," while the rest were merely "criticized and educated." The notice sparked outrage among local residents, particularly parents of students.

On 4 August, a large number of citizens gathered at the Jiangyou Municipal Government to demand justice for the victimized girl. The crowd grew larger and larger. Some netizens commented that with public resentment boiling over in mainland China today, any incident of injustice could ignite a massive uprising.

According to online reports, Jiangyou authorities initially engaged with the public and brought protesters into the government auditorium for dialogue. However, Mianyang City then dispatched a large number of special police officers and began a violent crackdown. Jiangyou City is a county-level city under the administration of Mianyang City.

Videos show several protesters being arrested at the entrance of the Jiangyou Municipal Government. Authorities placed them in pig transport trucks and escorted them away in public, a display of humiliation and intimidation.

However, the protesters remained undeterred and continued to gather for protests. Authorities continued to arrest people. In addition to the special police, local police, working with plainclothes officers blending into the crowd, repeatedly abducted lone protesters.

The police's brutality sparked public resistance. That evening, despite authorities blocking roads, protesters refused to retreat, continuing to gather, singing, chanting slogans, and confronting police. Police and special forces officers continued to arrest people and deploy pepper spray. Several residents were left bleeding and battered.

At around midnight that evening, authorities, after failing to order protesters to leave, began a violent clearance. Video footage from the scene showed large numbers of special forces officers charging into the crowd, beating and arresting protesters who were unable to flee.

However, the protesters did not retreat. They scattered under the SWAT force, but soon regrouped elsewhere, continuing to sing and chant slogans. They huddled together to protect each other and attempted to snatch those arrested from police. The crowd also threw rocks, water bottles, and other objects at the police.

Many protesters filmed the situation with their phones and live-streamed it online. Numerous videos showed the county town in chaos, with confrontations and violence rife. SWAT officers arrested and beat people in multiple neighborhoods, with people being carried or dragged away.

According to on-site videos, at least dozens of protesters were arrested, possibly as many as hundreds.

As of press time, this large-scale clash was still ongoing.

Riots in Jiangyou, Sichuan: Crowds chant "Xi Jinping step down"; Military and police suppress them

Editor: Zhongkang / Source: New Head Shell X / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0805/2257952.html

A recent disappearance of a young girl, suspected to be the result of school bullying, in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, has sparked public outrage. Residents spontaneously took to the streets to demand an investigation, but were met with a brutal crackdown by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) military and police. Military jammers were even reportedly deployed late at night, creating a tense atmosphere reminiscent of martial law.

A video circulating online shows a 14-year-old girl being assaulted and bullied by several young women on campus on August 3rd. The video garnered widespread attention. However, the girl subsequently disappeared and has not been heard from since. A scene reminiscent of the film "Better Days" actually played out in Sichuan has sparked public outrage.

The local government's passive handling of the incident has sparked strong public discontent. Starting on the evening of August 4th, large numbers of residents gathered at major intersections in Jiangyou. Despite police roadblocks, some broke through, holding national flags, singing the Chinese national anthem, and chanting slogans such as "Return the truth about the child," "Punish the murderer severely," and "Handle the case according to the law." They demanded that the government investigate the truth, punish those responsible, and publicly explain the situation.

However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities responded to these calls for justice with heavy-handed measures. In the early morning hours of August 5th, police fired tear gas to disperse the crowd and carried out indiscriminate arrests and violent expulsions of those at the scene. Online videos showed some people being beaten by multiple police officers, while others chanted, "Xi Jinping, step down! The Communist Party, step down!" The protests were directed at the central government.

In addition, some netizens filmed military jammers entering the city, apparently attempting to block public communications and prevent further spread of the news. Local internet signals briefly experienced abnormalities, sparking concerns that the CCP was attempting a cover-up.

X, a well-known Chinese blogger, wrote for the Opposition Party magazine: "This is a tragedy of the failure to protect the rights of minors, and a humiliation of the powerless by the powerful. We should not remain silent, and certainly not retreat."

Public commentary pointed out that the Jiangyou incident was not merely an instance of school violence, but also reflected China's institutional failures and the powerlessness of the grassroots. Some observers noted that the incident had gradually evolved into a local resistance against the bureaucracy and the asymmetrical power structure.

Some netizens commented, "This is a tragedy of the failure to protect the rights of minors, and a humiliation of the powerless by the powerful. We should not remain silent, and we should certainly not retreat." The parents of the bullied girl knelt before school officials and reported the incident to the police, but were dismissed. The mother is deaf and mute. In stark contrast, the victim brazenly declared in the video, "I've been to the police station over a dozen times, and I was released within 20 minutes each time." Online rumors circulated that the bully's father was a senior official in the Jiangyou Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Committee.

Currently, officials have remained silent on the incident, emphasizing only that the case will be handled in accordance with the law and that order will be maintained. No further information has been provided on the progress of the girl's disappearance or the injuries sustained by protesters. Faced with growing public outrage, public opinion is demanding immediate central government intervention, an investigation into the truth, the release of those arrested, and the protection of citizens' basic human rights.

Public opinion is suppressed, but the blood stain cannot be concealed. Bullying on a Jiangyou campus has sparked online

Editor: Fang Xun / Source : NTDTV / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0806/2258169.html / Images : Video Screenshots

On the eve of the opening of the Chengdu World Games, a large-scale public protest broke out in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, attracting widespread attention. On 4 August, thousands of local people gathered in front of the city government to support a 14-year-old female student who was severely bullied at school and demanded severe punishment for the bully. However, the people's call for justice was violently suppressed by the authorities, resulting in bloody clashes.

This female student had been bullied and abused repeatedly by the same group, and this time she was beaten, forced to strip, and subjected to repeated humiliation, including slapping, kicking, and kneeling. The video of the assault, released on August 2nd, sparked public outrage.

On August 4th, thousands of citizens took to the streets in protest; in the early morning of the 5th, authorities deployed a large police force to suppress the protests. Police beat protesters with clubs and pepper sprayed them, and shouts and screams echoed throughout the scene, leaving blood on the ground.

Li Ming (a pseudonym), a Sichuan resident, called the authorities' violent crackdown a utterly foolish act.

Li Ming, a Sichuan resident, said: "Normally, the situation should have been handled calmly. I don't think these people are being unreasonable, and it makes sense. No one wants to escalate this situation. The authorities are accustomed to this, resorting to a 'hot-tempered' approach whenever something happens. This is a very foolish response."

At the same time, authorities completely blocked online information, and the relevant videos and entries were quickly deleted.

A citizen livestreamed the scene, questioning why the police had assaulted someone. Before he could finish his words, a group of police rushed forward, chaos erupted, and the live broadcast was interrupted.

As protests erupted on the streets of Jiangyou, the trending topics on Weibo were about "The People's Army conquering the enemy with victories," a stark contrast to the reality of civilians being beaten and bleeding.

Li Ming believes that the authorities wanted to suppress the incident as quickly as possible before the opening of the World Games on August 7, but this has backfired.

Li Ming: "They are eager to cover up, so they have no choice but to resort to strong measures. Once this machine of violence is unleashed, it crushes the enemy. Once these strong measures are applied, the (negative) impact is actually amplified."

Faced with the harsh police crackdown, citizens refused to back down, chanting "Bullying the people" and "Serve the people" in unison and throwing water bottles at the police in protest.

Wang Yu (pseudonym), a Sichuan resident, believes that this mass protest, sparked by school bullying, has evolved into a cry of anger against the oppression of the authoritarian system. Only by bravely standing up can the CCP's tyranny be overthrown.

Sichuan resident Wang Yu said: "They are extremely evil. Many people are on the verge of collapse. Ordinary people have the courage to stand up, and (their anger) could explode at any moment."

Many other comments were left, such as "History will remember the bravery and hard work of our Sichuan friends," and "The great revolution to overthrow the Communist Party has begun."

The protest in Jiangyou, Sichuan, has attracted attention

Editor : Fang Xun / Source: Epoch Times / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0806/2258280.html

Recently, a girl in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, was bullied. The Chinese Communist Party's inaction sparked widespread public protests. Authorities deployed a large number of special police officers to suppress the situation, leading to clashes between the two sides and the violent beatings and arrests of numerous protesters. The incident has attracted the attention of overseas observers. Some commentators believe that public discontent is like a minefield, poised to explode at any moment. The authorities' crackdown will further undermine the legitimacy of the regime. This incident reflects the CCP's extreme weakness, and that popular resistance may be the biggest turning point in Chinese society.

Recently, a 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou was taken to an unfinished building by her peers, forced to strip, and subjected to verbal abuse and a group beating. The perpetrators recently posted a video online, sparking public outrage.

According to interviews and online reports on 4 August, the victim's mother is deaf and mute, and the girl was frequently bullied. The perpetrators were taken to the police station but were quickly released due to being "minors," and thus received no punishment. Following the release of this video, despite repeated calls from the victim's family, authorities continued to delay and ignore the matter for days. Some interviewees revealed that one of the perpetrators was the son of a government official.

Under public pressure, local police issued a notice on August 4th, stating only that the victim had suffered "minor injuries" and that two of the perpetrators had been given "public security penalties," while the rest received only "criticism and education." That same day, a large number of citizens gathered at the Jiangyou Municipal Government to demand justice for the girl who had been assaulted. Some interviewees said there were perhaps several thousand people. The parents and uncle of the assaulted student were also present, kneeling and asking the government to resolve the issue.

Jiangyou authorities initially engaged with the public and brought the protesters into the government auditorium for dialogue. However, Mianyang City subsequently dispatched a large number of special police (estimated to be over a thousand) to violently suppress the protests. Jiangyou is a county-level city under the administration of Mianyang.

Videos show numerous protesters being arrested at the gate of the Jiangyou Municipal Government. Officials publicly forced them into pig transport trucks and took them away. The police's brutality sparked public resistance. Protesters continued to gather that evening, singing, chanting, and confronting the police. Around midnight that evening, authorities began violently clearing the area, and the crowd threw rocks, water bottles, and other objects at police. At least dozens of protesters were arrested.

Qin Peng, a political and economic observer based in the United States, analyzed that after so many years of repression by the Chinese Communist Party, many people in China have become indifferent to such incidents around them, turning a blind eye to them and even reluctant to help an elderly person who has fallen. Those who spoke out this time have nothing to do with the woman and her family. They are motivated by righteous indignation and conscience to criticize the authorities and demand that they truly enforce the law. However, the authorities arrested and beat protesters, treating them like animals and throwing them into pig trucks, and the nature of the problem has changed.

Qin Peng said that the entire incident has been continuously evolving. The CCP sees these unchecked protests as a threat to its regime, which is why it resorts to forceful suppression. However, this has further incited more protests, and now the people are fighting the CCP regime. The authorities' repression, in turn, will further undermine its legitimacy and make more people see that the CCP has lost any ability to correct social errors.

"(The people) have endured so many years of brainwashing, intimidation, and suppression, and yet, out of nowhere, something so catastrophic could erupt. This demonstrates that this regime is fragile to a certain degree, ready to collapse at the slightest spark or crack. Don't be surprised," he said.

Image : Screenshot of a video of local police in Sichuan suppressing a crowd

American-based commentator Tang Jingyuan analyzed that incidents of bullying in mainland China's schools have been very common in recent years, some even more egregious, with some resulting in serious injuries or even fatalities. However, none have evoked the massive social response of the Jiangyou incident. This demonstrates that Chinese society, under CCP control, has become a dangerous powder keg, with dry wood everywhere, and even a small spark could ignite a raging fire.

Prominent democracy activist Wang Dan also stated on his YouTube program that the speed and scale of the Jiangyou incident far exceeded most people's expectations. This is reminiscent of the White Paper Movement in 2022, which also erupted without warning. He believes the reason is that over the years, Chinese society has accumulated too much discontent—social injustice, official abuse of power, and institutional indifference. These discontents are like mines, poised to explode at any moment.

Wang Dan stated that the protesters in Jiangyou are not professional protesters or democracy activists. They are ordinary people. Their anger stems not from a pursuit of democracy and freedom or abstract ideology, but from a personal dissatisfaction—a genuine sense of social injustice, perhaps even a moral compulsion to "no longer remain silent."

The day before the Jiangyou incident, on August 1st and 2nd, hundreds of tenants in the Shiqiaopu community of Puming Street in the Mianyang High-tech Zone in Sichuan Province spontaneously took to the streets for two consecutive days, blocking roads and protesting against the community's forced parking fees.

Wang Dan stated that the Mianyang and Jiangyou incidents, occurring in close proximity, are highly intriguing. The latter stemmed from moral outrage, while the former stemmed from the cost of living. However, the root cause of both eruptions is the same: the conflict of interests between grassroots citizens and the authorities.

He stated that popular resistance is the greatest uncertainty in Chinese society. The Jiangyou incident demonstrates that public tolerance for institutional apathy is reaching a breaking point. The police's use of pepper spray and violent repression against peaceful protesters demonstrates that the local government is deeply wary of public discontent, perhaps even deeper than the outside world imagines.

Furthermore, he believes that a new model of protest has emerged. Past protests in mainland China focused on organization, demands, and leadership, while the current model is decentralized. A single video or Weibo post can quickly spark widespread action. From the Li Wenliang incident and the "Chained Women" incident to today, protesters have never disappeared; they are simply biding their time.

Independent commentator Du Zheng, writing earlier this year, revealed a group in China, primarily composed of businesspeople, but also some mid-level officials and even police officers, who use secure software to hold group meetings and offer democratic education to the Chinese public whenever possible. Some participated in the White Paper Movement and went abroad, while others remain in China, hoping to continue waiting for opportunities. They will undoubtedly respond when the situation in China changes in the future.

Overseas support for Jiangyou protests: Rumors of authorities investigating foreign forces

Reporter : Ning Haizhong / Editor: Shi Fang / Source: Epoch Times / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0806/2258503.html

A school bullying incident in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, sparked widespread public protests. After a violent crackdown, authorities refuted the rumors, claiming the bullies' parents were not second-generation government officials, and arrested the alleged rumormongers. It's rumored that authorities are investigating alleged "foreign influence" within state-owned enterprises. The incident has garnered international attention, and democracy activists have immediately launched a campaign of support. The personal information of several local officials implicated in the crackdown has been exposed by international hackers.

Overseas Support for the Jiangyou Protests
Recently, in Jiangyou City, a city under the administration of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, a 14-year-old girl was taken to an unfinished building by her peers, forced to strip, and subjected to verbal abuse and a group beating. The perpetrators posted the video online, sparking public outrage and ultimately sparking widespread public protests. At the Jiangyou Municipal Government gate, numerous protesters were arrested and publicly forced into pig trucks. The police's brutality sparked public resistance. Around midnight that evening, authorities began a violent clearance of the area.

The suppression of the Jiangyou protests has drawn international attention. Several accounts on X have released documentaries about the Jiangyou incident. (Video link)

On 6 August 2025, Jie Lijian, Chairman of the International Alliance of the China Democratic Party, released a video expressing support for the people of Jiangyou, the burning of the Communist Party flag outside the visa hall of the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles, and the call for Xi Jinping and the Communist Party to resign. (Video link)

He said, "Today we speak out for (bullied) student Lai Jinghan and her deaf-mute mother. If we remain silent today, our children will be the next victims of bullying. Friends who work and pass through the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles for visa applications have witnessed the Communist Party's bloody methods of governing the country. The Communist Party loves to suppress victims who raise questions, and the CCP's national policy of maintaining stability is paramount. In today's online world, the CCP will not cover up its crimes, no matter what means, and will only accelerate the demise of the CCP's tyranny."

As of 6 August 2025, there were still many discussions on X.

"Free Bird" posted on X, "Regarding the Jiangyou incident in Sichuan, attacks on the Great Firewall have begun within the Great Firewall. We cannot let the voices die out. Let's raise the heat overseas." "Li Bai was about to leave on a boat when he arrived in Jiangyou and was bullied. He called 110 on his cell phone, specifically targeting criminals and innocent people." "

Jiangyou is said to be the birthplace of the famous Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, and there is a "Li Bai Memorial Hall" in the area.

One overseas netizen commented, "Everyone is calling these human rights criminals to send their regards." On August 5th, the personal information of Jiangyou Vice Mayor and Public Security Bureau Director Wang Zhifei, Jiangyou Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Committee Deputy Secretary Fu Shoujun, and Jiangyou Municipal Public Security Bureau Deputy Director Chen Zhen, all of whom were accused of directing the crackdown on protesters, was exposed by the "Chinese Human Rights Accountability Database" account on X. (Link)

American scholar Wu Zuolai offered advice to Jiangyou residents on X: First, visit the homes of local military police and officials, or write postcards to them, asking their families to persuade their children not to participate in the violent suppression of protesters and not to incite the public. Second, support one another, find lawyers for those imprisoned for protesting, and donate small amounts of money to help those on the front lines survive, so as not to leave them isolated and helpless.

Prominent human rights activist Chen Guangcheng posted: "The Jiangyou incident in Sichuan proves once again that the higher up the Communist Party's organizational system, the more evil and brutal it becomes. The Communist Party's evil is ingrained in its ranks." Second, we must cease harboring illusions about the Communist Party. The Communists are the public enemy of the people. Only by ending communist authoritarian rule can we establish a civilized political system that upholds social justice. Third, we must organize strategically, accumulating strength to attack them one by one, focusing on striking at the decision-makers and executors of their evil deeds, making their accomplices pay a 100% price and raising the cost of their crimes. Fourth, while reasoning with these thugs, we must also understand that they will not be reasoned with. We must take a long-term view and be prepared to confront the Communists' minions with force. Only when similar incidents occur again will we have the opportunity to spread the flames of the prairie fire. Only when we have the opportunity to attract international attention will we have the opportunity to change the Communist regime.

The Jiangyou protests were suppressed. Officials urgently "debunked" rumors

On the 5th, the "Mianyang Internet Police" reported that on August 4th, netizens Ding (female, 41 years old) and Yang (female, 27 years old) fabricated rumors to attract attention after viewing a video of an assault online. They posted them in WeChat groups and on social media platforms, causing widespread dissemination and "seriously disrupting public order and causing adverse social impact." Ding and Yang have reportedly been given administrative penalties.

Police reported that online claims such as "the daughter of the deputy director of the Jiangyou Public Security Bureau assaulted someone," "the assailant's father is a lawyer," and "the assailant's biological mother is a first-level police inspector in Jiangyou City" appeared. Verification revealed that the parents of the three offenders were: two unemployed, two working outside the province, one a local salesperson, and one a local delivery driver. The alleged occupational status of the offenders' parents was false.

According to previous online reports, the victim's mother is deaf-mute and the girl was frequently bullied. The assailants were taken to the police station but were quickly released due to being minors.

Mianyang Public Security Bureau August A notice issued on the 4th stated only that the victim had suffered "minor injuries" and that two perpetrators had been given "public security penalties," while the rest received only "criticism and education." That same day, the victim's parents knelt and pleaded with local officials, while a large number of citizens gathered at the Jiangyou Municipal Government to demand justice for the victim. Some respondents said there may have been several thousand people at the scene. Mianyang City, on the other hand, deployed a large number of special police (some respondents estimated over a thousand) that same day to violently suppress the protests.

Rumors indicate that authorities are investigating foreign influence within state-owned enterprises

Photos circulated online show that as of 5 August, authorities were still heavily armed, and the streets of Jiangyou were a scene of despair. Some sections of the road were blocked by metal barriers, leaving only a small opening for entry and exit, and the streets were virtually deserted.

A user named "Li Chengpeng (Real Big Eyed Brother)" posted on 5 August, "Just now, I heard from friends in Jiangyou that special steel mills, chemical plants, power plants, and even the China Institute of Engineering Physics, among other construction companies, have begun investigating whether there are any foreign influence forces, who are leading the organization, and who are shouting the most vehement slogans." Compared to previous protests in Shishou, Weng'an, and Wukan, the scale and intensity of the protests in Jiangyou were modest but that was a time of rapid economic growth, when people had hope. Now, with the economy in decline and widespread injustice, people have no hope for the future, and any spark can ignite it. "

The account also stated that a young man in black from Jiangyou urged everyone, "Don't attack the police. The police work for the people. They have a conscience. What we want is dialogue." Everyone also shouted, "Long live Chairman Mao." But the police rushed over and roughly arrested him. The whole process was filled with dramatic absurdity.

The article said, "I don't know if the young man has seen the film 'Nanjing Studio,' but I'm sure he, a passionate man, learned history from textbooks. If Chairman Mao were still alive, he would have been exiled to Jiabiangou, starved to death, or perhaps executed on the spot, with his family paying 50 cents for the bullet. Do you think that praising the police for having a conscience will stop them treating you like pigs and dogs? The Chinese have never lacked the courage to take to the streets. What they lack is a true understanding of why they take to the streets. What you lack is freedom, not a magistrate."

Screenshots circulating online show that some in the Jiangyou Weibo super topic are already saying that foreign forces are stirring up trouble.

Jiangyou's corrupt police chief exposed internationally! Chinese citizens issue "Letter to the Chinese People"

Editor : Fang Xun / Source: NTDTV / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0806/2258197.html Image : On 5 August 2025, the personal information of the corrupt police chief who commanded the suppression of protesters in Jiangyou was "opened" by international hackers. (Image composite from the internet)

The bullying of a 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province, has continued to escalate. After thousands of people took to the streets to protest against a violent police crackdown, the personal information of the corrupt police chief who orchestrated the crackdown was exposed by international hackers. Some "woke" individuals have even published a "Letter to the Chinese People," calling on the Chinese people to rise up against the CCP's totalitarian dictatorship.

A vulnerable 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou was brutally assaulted and bullied by several people, forced to strip, kneel, kick, and hit with sticks. The police subsequently issued a few "criticisms" to the assailants. The release of the video and related news sparked public outrage. Thousands of people protested at the Jiangyou Municipal Government, only to be violently suppressed and arrested by police. The police's brutality was exposed internationally through videos.

On August 5th, the personal information of the corrupt police chief, including the Jiangyou Deputy Mayor and Public Security Bureau Director who ordered the crackdown; Fu Shoujun, Secretary of the Jiangyou Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Commission, who coldly ignored the child's parents as they knelt; and the Deputy Public Security Bureau Director who led the arrests, was exposed by international hackers.

According to the "Chinese Human Rights Accountability Database" on the X platform, the man in black, who held a loudspeaker and directed police officers to suppress the protests on August 4th and personally led the arrests, was Chen Zhen, Deputy Director of the Jiangyou Public Security Bureau.

Chen Zhen's two home addresses were exposed: Address 1: Unit 7, Building 1, No. 2, 4th Floor, Taibai Apartment, Dachangkou, Zhongba Street, Jiangyou City, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province; Address 2: No. 207, Middle Section, Fujiang Road, Zhongba Town, Jiangyou, Mianyang, Sichuan Province.

Chen Zhen's personal information, including his mobile phone, WeChat, and WeChat Pay, as well as information about his car, including its make, model, color, and license plate number, were also exposed. Also exposed were the addresses of his "connector," Xiao Qun, and the mobile phone number of his henchman, Wu Bo.

In addition, some personal information of Wang Zhifei, Director of the Jiangyou Public Security Bureau in Mianyang, Sichuan Province, including his ID, email address, and Alipay account, was also exposed.

Furthermore, Liang Xiaohui, the current director of the Mianyang Public Security Bureau, who is rumored to have ordered the crackdown on Jiangyou residents, has also made the list of "villains." A close-up photo of Liang Xiaohui has also been leaked on overseas social media platforms.

Aboluowang commentator Wang Duran discovered that others whose names were "unmasked" include: Dong Zhenghong, Secretary of the Jiangyou Municipal Party Committee in Sichuan; Fu Shoujun, Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of Jiangyou City in Sichuan; deaf and mute parents who ignored the kneeling petition of their bullied child; and other high-ranking officials of the Jiangyou Municipal Public Security Bureau.

The incident stemmed from a 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou City who was recently taken to an empty house outside a school by several female students and assaulted. The victim was slapped, kicked in the head and body, beaten with wooden sticks, and even forced to strip and kneel down to beg for mercy. Afterwards, the perpetrators posted a video of the bullying incident online, sparking public outrage.

Rumors circulated online that the victim's mother was deaf-mute and her father was disabled, and that the girl, due to her vulnerability, was often bullied both at school and outside. After the victim reported the incident to the police, the police downplayed the incident, offering only a few words of "criticism and education" to the assailants before allowing them to return home.

On August 4th, upon learning of this news, thousands of people gathered on the street where the Jiangyou Municipal Government is located to protest, demanding severe punishment for the assailants.

Videos from the protest site show the victim's parents kneeling before police officers, pleading for justice for their child. The girl's mother fainted from emotion.

The video shows a middle-aged man being grabbed and his arms twisted by angry police officers while attempting to protect an elderly man who was arguing with stability maintenance officials. The man in black, commanding the arrest with a megaphone, was revealed to be Chen Zhen, Deputy Director of the Jiangyou Public Security Bureau.

In Jiangyou, Sichuan, thousands of citizens stood up today for a bullied little girl. The young man in the video was arrested by enraged police while defending an elderly man who was arguing with stability maintenance officials. In every large-scale protest like this, there are countless heroes who stand up against the injustices faced by others. They are arrested and sentenced, but receive remarkably little attention, and most of them will never be known to the world. … pic.twitter.com/dyDNk5moxv

The latest news is that at 1:00 PM local time on 5 August, roadblocks were set up at both ends of the road leading to the Jiangyou City Hall, and the streets were cleared. Information about the protests is being strictly suppressed in China.

"Letter to the Chinese People"
On 5 August, a "Letter to the Chinese People" signed by "countless awakened Chinese people" appeared on overseas social media platforms.

The open letter slammed local authorities for violently clearing a peaceful protest, using pig trucks to arrest people, dragging elderly women protesting, and ignoring a mother's kneeling plea for justice for her assaulted daughter. Protesters were violently suppressed by police for simply shouting, "We are here to reason."

The article stated, "Is this 'social stability' under Communist Party rule? Is this the so-called 'rule of law'? No, this is the essence of totalitarianism—silencing the people and making the rebels disappear!"

The article pointed out that school bullying was merely a flashpoint. What truly angered the nation were three things: the system's absolute disregard for the vulnerable; the extreme violence of the stability maintenance apparatus; and the suppression of public opinion and the silencing of official media. These incidents were not isolated incidents, and "Xi Jinping's totalitarian rule is the real culprit."

The article specifically targeted CCP leader Xi Jinping, calling on the people of China to rise up against the CCP's tyranny.

The article reads: "You may not be from Jiangyou, but you must shed tears for Jiangyou; you may not have been there, but you cannot remain silent! Today they can use a 'pig cage cart' to take away the citizens who cried out for the girl, and tomorrow they can use the name of 'national security' to eliminate your remaining right to speech, right to life, and human dignity!"

Recently, a 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, was bullied. She was forced to take off her clothes and kneel before being repeatedly slapped and kicked in the back by several people. A video went viral online, sparking public outrage.

The video shows an underage girl being surrounded and verbally abused by several women in an unfinished building.

The girl was forced to remove her clothes, leaving her in her underwear and shorts, and then ordered to stand at attention against a wall. One woman, armed with a long stick, violently beat her.

The women then pulled her hair and slapped her repeatedly, counting as they struck her.

After being beaten, the girl sobbed and begged them to stop, saying her family would call the police.

However, one of the women who assaulted the girl claimed, "Do you think we're afraid of you? We've been in jail before, too. Do you think we're afraid of you?"

The girl who was assaulted said, "I know you've all been in jail before, over ten times, and you were released within two days."

The girl was then forced to kneel on the ground, where a woman kicked her hard in the back. The woman's hands fell to the ground, but she got up and was assaulted again. The attacker counted "1, 2, 3..." as he kicked her.

A video of the girl being assaulted circulated online, sparking public outrage. A netizen with inside information posted that she and the assaulted girl were elementary school classmates. Because the girl's mother is deaf and mute, she was often bullied at school. The girls who assaulted her in the video were all students at the same school, some of whom were classmates.

The netizen stated that in the video, the assaulted girl said her father would call the police, but her assailants didn't care. They had all been to the police station before, but because they were minors, nothing happened.

On August 4th, police in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province, issued a notice confirming that the online bullying incident involving a girl occurred in the city of Jiangyou.

The notice stated that an investigation revealed that the incident occurred at approximately 3 pm on 22 July 2025. Liu A (female, 15 years old) had a conflict with Lai B (female, 14 years old). Liu A invited Liu B (female, 13 years old) and Peng B (female, 14 years old) to a deserted area of a building in Jiangyou City, where they verbally abused, threatened, and assaulted Lai. A group of people observing the incident filmed the incident, which was later uploaded online.

The notice also stated that the assault caused multiple bruises to Lai's scalp and knees, which were diagnosed as minor. All suspects have been brought to justice, and public security sanctions have been imposed on Liu A and Peng B. Liu B and the other onlookers have been criticized and educated, and their guardians have been ordered to exercise strict discipline.

However, the police report was questioned by many netizens. One said, "The punishment is too low. The physical and mental damage caused by assaulting a minor and then posting the video online will have lifelong consequences."

"Minor injuries are the equivalent of nothing happening."

"Did the bully actually learn a lesson? Where's the punishment? Where's the discipline? Education is necessary, but are the bullies truly afraid? Will it effectively deter other bullies?"

Other netizens expressed sympathy for the girl who was assaulted: "This is a huge blow to both the body and the mind. This is definitely not the first or second time."

China's biggest variable explodes
- Jiangyou protests draw attention. Commentary: China is laying minefields everywhere

Reporters : Ning Haizhong and Luo Ya / Editor : Fang Xun / Source: Epoch Times / https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0806/2258282.html / Image : On 4 August 2025, a bullying incident involving a teenage girl in Jiangyou, Sichuan, sparked a spontaneous protest by thousands of people at the city government, which was met with a large police response. (Video screenshot)

Recently, a 14-year-old girl in Jiangyou City was taken to an unfinished building by her peers, forced to strip, and subjected to verbal abuse and a group beating. The perpetrators recently posted a video online, sparking public outrage.

According to an Epoch Times report yesterday (the 4th) and online reports, the victim's mother is deaf and mute, and the girl was frequently bullied. The perpetrators were taken to the police station but were quickly released due to being "minors," and thus received no punishment. Following the release of this video, despite repeated calls from the victim's family, authorities continued to delay for days, ignoring their actions.

Jiangyou City is a county-level city under the administration of Mianyang City.

Qin Peng, a political and economic observer living in the United States, told the Epoch Times that after so many years of repression by the CCP, many people in China have become indifferent to such incidents around them, turning a blind eye to them and even reluctant to help an elderly person who has fallen.

"After so many years of brainwashing, intimidation, and suppression, it's surprising that something this large could suddenly erupt from nowhere. This demonstrates the regime's fragility, ready to collapse at the slightest spark or crack. Don't be surprised," he said.

American-based current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan told the Epoch Times that school bullying in mainland China has been common in recent years, sometimes even more egregious, with some resulting in serious injuries or even fatalities. However, none has evoked the magnitude of the Jiangyou incident. This demonstrates that Chinese society, under CCP control, has become a dangerous powder keg, a tinderbox of dry wood everywhere, where even a small spark could ignite a raging fire.

Prominent democracy activist Wang Dan also stated on his YouTube program that the speed and scale of the Jiangyou incident far exceeded most people's expectations. This brings to mind the similarly unexpected White Paper Movement in 2022.

The Jiangyou incident shows that public tolerance for institutional apathy is reaching a breaking point. The police's use of pepper spray and violent repression against peaceful protesters demonstrates that local governments are deeply wary of public discontent, perhaps even deeper than the outside world imagines.

Furthermore, he believes that a new model of protest has emerged. Past protests in mainland China focused on organization, demands, and leadership, while the current model is decentralized. A single video or a single Weibo post can quickly spark widespread action. From the Li Wenliang incident and the "Chained Woman" incident to today, protesters have never disappeared; they are simply biding their time.

Independent commentator Du Zheng, writing in the Taiwanese media outlet "Shang Bao" earlier this year, revealed a group in China, primarily composed of businesspeople, but also some mid-level officials and even police officers, who use secure software to hold group meetings and offer democratic education to the Chinese people whenever possible. Some participated in the White Paper Movement and went abroad, while others remain in China, hoping to continue waiting for opportunities. They will undoubtedly respond when the situation in China changes in the future.

The Jiangyou incident sends a political signal: A fire is burning in the air, waiting for a spark

Commentator : Yan Chungou / Editor: Li Guangsong /  https://www.aboluowang.com/2025/0807/2258816.html

The recent civil protests in Jiangyou, Sichuan, are arguably the largest and most intense social incident in recent years. The incident lasted for several days, and the government mobilized hundreds to thousands of police and armed police, while thousands of citizens participated.

The incident stemmed from a case of school bullying, a common occurrence in mainland China's schools and society. This time, the perpetrators were not known to be children of powerful families. The fundamental reason for the escalation of the situation is the government's arrogance and brutality.

The video shows the girl being repeatedly slapped on the face, likely causing a concussion. The beatings and kicks also likely caused internal injuries, not to mention the psychological scars. At the very least, the government should order the perpetrators and their parents to apologize and compensate for medical expenses and emotional distress. The government downplayed the incident, stating that the perpetrators were merely transferred to another school and reprimanded, which only confirmed the perpetrator's boast at the scene that they were "out in 20 minutes."

After noticing the strong public outrage, the government not only failed to remedy the situation but instead refused to admit its fault and escalated the situation. The victim's parents, disabled and illiterate, were deceived by the government. Their kneeling pleas to Party officials were met with disdain. Armed police quickly intervened to suppress the situation, arresting citizens and forcing them to stand in pig baskets for public display. These despicable actions added fuel to the fire, igniting the wrath of righteous citizens.

As for the cause of the incident, in the past, it would not have caused such large-scale social unrest. However, today, the lower classes of mainland China are facing their most desperate moment in over 40 years. It's likely that a significant number of those participating in these street protests are exploiting the situation to vent their dissatisfaction with the government.

Of the thousands of citizens gathered in the streets, watching, shouting, and acting impulsively, how many are unemployed university graduates? How many are small vendors perpetrated by urban management officials for years? How many are delivery drivers daily harassed by traffic police? How many are migrant workers sleeping on the streets due to unemployment?

Are there also the small property owners left homeless by unfinished buildings, migrant workers owed wages, citizens facing demolition and unable to receive compensation, small business owners exploited by various government departments, and the middle class struggling to breathe under the pressure of life?

In today's mainland China, apart from the powerful families and government employees, who isn't filled with anger? Incomes and consumption have declined year-on-year, work and life pressures are immense, and the dire reality of the situation makes the future seem even more uncertain. For all this accumulated anger, where can one seek justice?

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) touts itself as an omnipotent government, controlling all social resources and distributing wealth, encroaching on private life and abusing power with impunity. The CCP's empty communist rhetoric contrasts sharply with the harsh reality of society. When society is stagnant and the lower classes face no prospects for survival, the Chinese people naturally blame a government that is hostile to the people.

Public anger has been accumulating, like dry wood smoldering, and a wave of resistance is brewing across society. Any slightest disturbance will unleash long-suppressed hatred. This is how a minor incident of bullying can escalate into widespread unrest.

The Jiangyou incident sends a remarkable political signal: widespread suffering in urban and rural areas across mainland China is brewing a massive political crisis. Public dissatisfaction with the ruling party has reached a critical point of widespread eruption, like dry wood waiting for a spark.

During the conflict, some shouted the slogan "Communist Party down, Xi Jinping down!" This marked the first time since the White Paper Movement on Urumqi Road in Shanghai that such a highly politically charged slogan has been publicly uttered. The lyrics of the "March of the Volunteers," sung by the citizens, "Rise up, those who refuse to be slaves, and with our flesh and blood, build our new Great Wall," carry a powerful political message that resonates remarkably with current national sentiment. The transition from a common bullying incident to the political heights of regime subversion is inherently logical.

Jiangyou is, at best, a small, fifth-tier city, with limited government stabilization capabilities. During this incident, its parent city, Mianyang, had to mobilize armed police to assist in suppressing the situation. However powerful the CCP is, its stabilization capabilities are always limited. The majority of armed police are generally concentrated in major cities, deployed to subordinate regions only when needed.

However, if four or five similar unrests occurred simultaneously within Mianyang's jurisdiction, Mianyang would be overwhelmed and would have no choice but to seek assistance from the next higher level. However, the situation at the next higher level is even more pressing. If civil unrest broke out in numerous areas simultaneously, the higher-level stabilization efforts would no longer be sufficient. Similarly, once widespread civil unrest erupted, the CCP's stabilization capabilities would eventually be exhausted.

As seen in the on-site video, the armed police were well-trained, often surrounding and assaulting a single citizen, using chokeholds, arm twisting, back slamming, and club-throwing blows with expert, coordinated movements. A middle-aged man in black, holding a loudspeaker, directed the situation on the scene, his movements well-planned. On the other hand, the citizens were essentially a mob, lacking organization and command. Most of them were watching, shouting, and recording, failing to actively support one another and work together to confront the police and armed police.

The armed police possessed legal weapons and equipment, while the civilians were scattered and unarmed. From this perspective, the popular resistance was inherently disadvantaged. However, with the government's financial difficulties, its stability maintenance capabilities are weakening, while the popular resistance is rapidly growing. Eventually, the balance of power will reverse, and the situation will completely change.

A small wind in Jiangyou may not stir up a major wave, but today, in mainland China, crises are deepening across the country, with growing tensions between officials and the public, and the lives of the grassroots are on the brink of despair. Clearly, the Jiangyou protests send a strong political signal: social unrest on the mainland will continue, on a larger scale and with more violent tactics. The end of the CCP regime is in sight.

Currently, expectations of the CCP's collapse are converging both domestically and internationally. The question is only when, and the speed of this eventuality depends on the rise and fall of two variables: the CCP's stability maintenance capabilities and the power of popular resistance. We are witnessing this process, and we will bear witness to the outcome.
