Eco-Health Alliance applies for U.S. Defense Fund to get research details on explosive functions
DRASTIC obtained a report on the EcoHealth Alliance's application for research funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The source is an anonymous whistleblower. There are completed and planned experimental designs. Here is a brief introduction.
DRASTIC is the name of a global non-governmental virus tracing organization (Decentralized Radical Autonomous Search Team Investigating COVID-19 Decentralized Radical Autonomous Search Team Investigating COVID-19).
This is a project that the EcoHealth Alliance has applied for and the Wuhan Institute of Viology (WIV) to cooperate with East China Normal University and Wuhan University. The project title is "Defuse". In 2018, the content was created by the virus collected by WIV to create a chimeric bat coronavirus to infect humanized or batized mice; the project was rejected, but part of the funding space was left, and part of the reason for rejection was that the proposal incorrectly explained the guidance of the Gain-Of-Function Research (GOF). According to the suggested content, this is undoubtedly a GOF study.
Speaking of GOF, the proposal has a very important content, that is, the introduction of human-specific protease cleavage points in the spike protein. Although there is no clear protease, the Furin cleavage point, which is a specific section of the amino acid sequence of the protein, has been discussed earlier. The arrangement can be cleaved by a specific protease.
Image : Video Screenshot
SARS-CoV-2 (Wuhan virus, CCP virus, novel coronavirus, covi) is most different from this family of coronaviruses. The most unique thing is that there is a Furin protease cleavage site, which can cut the two subunits of the spike protein, S1 and S2, to increase infectivity. There is nothing similar to the CCP virus. Some scholars believe that Furin sites can occur naturally.
However, there is no virus closest to the CCP virus, and the proposal also suggests the introduction of a certain protease in genetic modification, and Furin has been discussed many times in the article.
After the application was rejected, the same application was submitted to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and approved, and P3 supervision was avoided.
It also explained that: 1) Many government agencies in the United States know it; 2) The Chairman of the Eco-Health Alliance Daszak wrote that he not only knew it, but also designed it. He did not justify the CCP without knowing it, but he was a part of it.
Daszak is the chairman of the EcoHealth Alliance. He subcontracted the National Institutes of Health funds to the WIV to conduct bat coronavirus experiments and defended the CCP in the scientific community to block major figures with different views.

Australian Sky News traceability investigation, U.S. Intelligence Director talks about three patients in the WIV
Sky News aired the investigative documentary "What Really Happened in Wuhan" on Monday, in which an interview with former U.S. intelligence director John Ratcliffe made it clear that the intelligence of the three WIV patients was intelligence from personnel, signals and other sources, and the duration of the illness is October, not November as previously thought.
No wonder Australia's Daily Telegram has an exclusive report that the former U.S. intelligence chief said that the U.S. government has strong evidence leaked by the laboratory and hopes to make it public.

U.S. experts found Nipah virus in samples of early patients in Wuhan
Another development is that four American experts discovered the Nipah virus based on the genetic sequence analysis of early patient blood samples uploaded by WIV in December 2019 and published it on a preprinted website that has not been peer-reviewed.
Nipah virus is a high-risk virus and must be processed in a P4 laboratory, which is higher than the coronavirus level. The CDC has designated it as a bioterrorist reagent.
It has previously been reported that WIV has conducted experiments related to Nipah virus. Nipah virus and some other virus sequences have been monitored in these patients. The previous explanation was that they were infected with multiple viruses at the same time or laboratory contamination during testing. However, the research in this article found that Nipah virus was inserted into an artificial vector. It is likely to be an infectious clone.
The conclusion is that this is assembling a highly infectious clone. If it is to detect contamination, it is a leak in P4. WIV needs to explain clearly the purpose, process and details of how to contaminate patient samples. This is a reasonable request. WIV has the responsibility to explain it to the world.
Let me talk about two possible cases in the Supreme Court of the United States.
Will the U.S. Supreme Court review the vaccine ruling 100 years ago?
For compulsory vaccination, there are currently multiple issues involved, such as the relationship between the federal executive order and state laws, the voluntariness of experimental drugs, the relationship between public health and personal rights, and one view is that it is time for the supreme law to intervene in compulsory vaccine mandates.
The most recent time of the Supreme Court of the United States was in 1905. From 1905 to the present, science and technology have developed to mRNA vaccines, but the Supreme Court’s ruling has not kept up.

Review the history of vaccines and mandatory vaccination
In 1813, the U.S. Congress passed the Vaccine Act.
Jacobson v. Massachusetts case: In 1902, worried about the spread of smallpox, the Cambridge Health Department of Massachusetts decided that all residents must be vaccinated or re-vaccinated. Violators were fined $5. Jacobson, a local immigrant pastor from Sweden, was vaccinated against smallpox in Sweden as a child. He had a serious reaction and refused to vaccinate because he believed his family had hereditary adverse reactions to the smallpox vaccine. He was fined $5 and reached the Supreme Law three years later, ruling that the mandatory vaccinations of Massachusetts did not violate the Fourteenth Amendment. (The first paragraph "No one shall be denied equal legal protection")
However, the Supreme Court’s ruling supports the government’s power and also restricts power. Later, both parties will quote the ruling for their own defense. The ruling also said that the general narrative should limit its application so as not to cause injustice, oppression or absurd consequences. "General terms should be so limited in their application as not to lead to injustice, oppression or absurd consequence".
Jacobson received the support of anti-vaccine groups, and three years later gave birth to the American anti-vaccine organization. "My body is my master", which is naturally the best defense mechanism. Interestingly, the strongest anti-vaccine supporter at the time was progressivism. Part of it was later accepted by conservative religious groups. Although Jacobson is a pastor, the reason for his refusal to vaccinate is not religion but health.
At one time, the vaccine was considered to be very effective, because the earliest was the smallpox vaccine, and smallpox is a very rare special case: macromolecular DNA, no mutations, ultra-stable, and the immunity formed by the vaccine is good for humans. Smallpox has a preventive effect, but it has no side effects and is immune to life for life.

On
Tuesday (21 September 2021), President Biden addressed the annual United Nations General Assembly
for the first time…and, as always, Biden lived up to the nickname “Sleepy Joe.”
Although he did manage to make it through the speech without
flubbing—which is progress for Biden—the bar was low for his oratorical
performance.
It matters more what he said than how he said it and
predictably, Biden’s words did not match his actions. It was an empty speech
full of platitudes and broken promises.
The speech also failed to properly tackle the Chinese Communist
Party threat and neglected to mention the horrors perpetuated by socialism in
countries like Cuba and Venezuela.
A major emphasis of Biden’s speech was on restoring cooperation
with our allies. In Biden’s framing of the issue, former President Trump left
our allies out to dry and his “America first” form of foreign policy was
insufficient and must be done away with.
Putting aside the faults in his argument, Biden is not even
living up to his promise of being “back at the table” with our allies.
Just this week, France announced that they were recalling its
ambassador from Washington for the first time
since the Washington administration after the Biden administration stabbed them
in the back by circumventing a submarine deal that the French had previously
made with the Australians.
Then there was the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, which
left our allies helpless to get their citizens out of Afghanistan after Biden refused
to move a finger to help them by failing to extend the withdrawal deadline.
How could Biden look out into the crowd at the UN with a
straight face? Those in attendance now know that Biden’s word is meaningless.
He does not follow through on his commitments and they likely hate him for it.
The President also failed to stand up to Mainland China and let
them know he means business.
Sure, he beat around the edges and claimed that he did not
intend to start a “new cold war”—an obvious reference to China-US relations—but
he did not draw a line in the sand over Chinese human rights abuses of one
million Muslims and the threat China poses to Taiwan and Hong Kong.
China is our number one enemy in the world today, and Biden
continues to let them get away with murder…literally.
Biden made it clear that his foreign policy was essentially
anti-Trump.
He touted the U.S. rejoining the Paris Climate Accord, his
desire to reinstitute the Iran nuclear deal, and his belief that soft
diplomacy—i.e., foreign aid—would serve as his administration’s guiding
principle in foreign policy.
Biden is naïve to think that using American tax dollars as a
form of diplomacy will foster an era of world peace and harmony. Not to mention
the fact that the US can’t even afford to pay for domestic programs, let alone
help spend its way into global tranquility.
Joe Biden has been a foreign policy and national security
disaster in his eight months in office, and judging by his UN speech, he will
continue to be so for the indefinite future.
The world will be less safe for it.

Covi variant R.1 detected in the U.S.
Reporter : Ross Ibbetson, Daily Mail
A new covi variant with increased resistance to antibodies has been identified at a Kentucky nursing home where it has already infected 45 residents and workers.
The strain which originated in Japan is known as R.1 and contains dangerous mutations that improve its 'transmission, replication, and immune suppression.'
It shares a mutation of the same spike protein which has also been identified in the highly infectious variants originating from Brazil, Britain, India and South Africa.
Infectious disease expert Dr. William Haseltine wrote in Forbes, "R.1 is a variant to watch. It has established a foothold in both Japan and the United States."

Outbreak in Harbin, Bayan County closed
Reporters : Gu Xiaohua and Gu Qing'er / Editor : Li Muen / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/9/22/n13252376.htm
A few days ago, the covid epidemic broke out in Harbin, Heilongjiang, with local cases. Currently, two places in Harbin have been adjusted to medium-risk areas. The local people told the Epoch Times reporter that the entire Bayan County was closed, this is an epidemic area, and all shops are closed.
From 22 September 2021, Xinglong Town, Bayan County, Harbin City (Xinglong Forestry Bureau Co., Ltd. Sub-district Office) Liminjiayuan and Anminjiayuan have been adjusted to medium-risk areas. In addition, a 48-hour nuclear test negative certificate is required to leave Harbin, not to leave Harbin if it is not necessary.
Harbin Bayan County issued an announcement on the 22nd, saying that from now on, all places with relatively dense spaces except supermarkets, pharmacies, and grain and oil stores that guarantee people's livelihood products will be closed; public transportation such as buses, taxis, and long-distance passenger transportation will be temporarily suspended.
A staff member of a hotel near Harbin West Railway Station said that this area is an epidemic area and all shops are closed. Now it takes 48 hours to enter Harbin for a nucleic acid test.
Song Mei (pseudonym), a restaurant owner in Xinglong Township, Bayan County, said in an interview with The Epoch Times reporter on September 22: "There is an epidemic, our restaurant will not be allowed to open. The entire Bayan County has been closed. This order is It was passed from Bayan County, and I couldn't get out, and I couldn't get in."
"The roads in Xinglong Town are all closed, and those who have been in contact are taken to quarantine. We don't know how long it will be closed for a national nucleic acid test." Song Mei said, "(Confirmed case 1) is in the building in front of us and came back from another place. She doesn’t live here, it’s not clear where she lives."
Ms. Li from Xiangfang District, Harbin, said, “Capital Plaza was closed yesterday (21st), and the old chefs on Central Street were taken to quarantine. Now the city is undergoing nucleic acid testing, and the scary days are back.”
Starting from 22 September, Harbin’s kindergartens, primary and secondary schools (including secondary vocational schools) will stop offline teaching for one week and switch to online teaching.
Ms. Li said that on 22 September kindergartens, primary and secondary schools are all closed, such as dental clinics, Internet cafes, billiard rooms, game halls, barbershop baths, and underground hotels are all closed. Large supermarkets are not closed yet, but you have to take temperature measurements and scan your health code when you go in. Now you have to scan the code when you take a bus.
According to an official Harbin report, from 6 pm on 21 September to 12 pm on 22nd, 5 new confirmed cases in Harbin (4 in Bayan County, Harbin, 1 in Nangang District, Harbin) and 3 cases of positive nucleic acid screening . The three new positive cases were all in Bayan County, all of whom were close contacts of the three confirmed cases on the 21st.
As of 12 pm on 22 September, there are currently 8 local confirmed cases in Heilongjiang Province.
Since the CCP has always concealed the epidemic, the official epidemic data has been generally questioned by the outside world.

The global death toll from the epidemic exceeds 4.7 million
According to statistics from official sources released this morning, the CCP virus has caused at least 4,700,233 deaths since the outbreak in Wuhan in December 2019. The number of confirmed cases of infection has exceeded at least 229,092,913.
The above statistics are based on daily epidemic data reports provided by the health authorities of various countries.
The World Health Organization estimates that due to the wider impact of the pandemic and the high number of additional deaths, the number of deaths directly or indirectly related to COVID-19 may be three times higher than currently recorded.
Although many countries have strengthened testing, there are still a large number of mild or asymptomatic cases that have not been detected.
According to the national population, the country with the largest number of deaths is Peru, with 604 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina (314), Hungary (312), the Republic of Northern Macedonia (311), Montenegro (296 people) and Bulgaria (288 people).
(The CCP and Iran conceal the epidemic, and the actual number of infections and deaths are much higher than reported.)

The average death toll in the U.S. exceeds 1,900 per day for the first time since March
The number of deaths from the Chinese Communist virus (Covid-19) in the United States exceeds 1,900 on average every day. This is the first time this level has been reached since March.
According to data from Johns Hopkins University, nearly 64% of the population now has at least one dose of the vaccine, but the average daily death toll in the past two weeks has risen by 40%, from 1,387 to 1,947.
In the first three weeks of September, there were more deaths (340) in West Virginia than in the previous three months combined. Georgia has an average of 125 deaths per day, more than California or other states with larger populations.
According to the Associated Press, more than 70 million Americans are eligible for vaccination but have not yet been vaccinated.

WHO: Delta beats the other three variants to become the most important strain
According to the World Health Organization, Delta has overpowered the other three worrying variants and has become the most important strain of the Chinese Communist Party virus (Covid-19) so far. These three variants now account for only a small percentage of cases.
The Delta variant was first discovered in India. It is more contagious than the previously dominant Alpha variant. The latter was first discovered in Kent, England.
The WHO decided earlier this year to name the variants after the letters of the Greek alphabet to avoid stigmatization of the country where they were first discovered.
Head of Covid-19 technology at WHO, Maria Van Kerkhove, said in a live interaction on WHO's social media:
"The Alpha, Beta and Gamma variants currently circulating each account for less than 1% of cases.
Delta actually dominates the world. Delta has become more adaptable and more infectious.
It is replacing other viruses that are spreading. "
To date, Delta variant has been discovered in more than 185 countries.
In addition to these four worrying variants, there are five more interesting variants, but Kerchoff said three of them — Eta, Iota, and Kappa — are now being downgraded to monitored variants.
"This is actually due to changes in communication. The interesting variants just don't exceed the worrying variants. They just don't have the upper hand," Kerkhove added.

Significant relaxation of epidemic prevention measures, Netherlands will remove social distancing restrictions
According to a report by the Dutch news network, the Netherlands will greatly relax epidemic prevention measures from 25 September 2021, cancel the 1.5-meter social distance rule, and fully open the catering industry, and all large-scale gatherings can be carried out under the corresponding conditions.
The Prime Minister of the Dutch Caretaker Cabinet, Mark Rutter, stated at a press conference in the evening of 14 September that starting from 25 September, "People who enter public places need to provide a QR code (QR code) at the entrance to prove that they have been vaccinated, or have recovered, or provide a negative test result within 24 hours.
All persons over the age of 13 must present this certificate to enter public places, such as movie theaters and theaters. This QR code is suitable for indoor and outdoor, as well as public places with and without fixed seats.
The Netherlands stipulates that the use of health passes will allow the hotel industry, cinemas, music venues, professional sports events and cultural venues to fully resume operations. For outdoor activities, the limit on the number of participants will be lifted, and there is no mandatory closing time. This rule also applies to activities with fixed seats indoors.
The government has also relaxed epidemic prevention measures for primary and secondary schools, higher education, and the use of public transportation. The Netherlands stipulates that when a student detects a positive infection, the entire class will no longer need to be isolated. "Only those who are positively infected or students with symptoms must stay at home."
In addition, from 25 September, the limit on the number of students attending classes or lectures in higher education and vocational schools will be lifted. These students and middle school students also do not need to wear masks. They will use the test kit provided by the school to conduct self-test twice a week.
Similarly, people do not have to wear masks in train stations or on platforms. However, people in Dutch airports and using public transportation still need to wear masks.
Regarding the QR code pass, those who do not have a smart phone can dial the phone number 0800-1355 to obtain a paper copy of the virus pass. Companies and organizations can deny entry to anyone who cannot provide the required evidence. They can also use the Corona Check Scanner app to check whether people have a pass.

U.S. relaxes entry restrictions on international travel in November
The Biden-Harris administration said on Monday (20 September 2021) that it plans to relax entry restrictions on fully vaccinated international tourists from early November.
The White House Coronavirus (CCV) Coordinator Jeff Zients said on Monday that all foreign tourists must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination before boarding a flight to the United States. He added that passengers must also provide negative test results within 72 hours before the flight.
There will be no quarantine requirements for entry into the United States.
Zienz told reporters that the timetable implemented in early November will provide relevant agencies and airlines with "preparation time."
He said that the White House plan allows non-U.S. citizens of countries that have been banned from entering the United States since the beginning of 2020, if they are fully vaccinated, they can enter the United States.
The United States currently prohibits entry of most non-US citizens who have visited the United Kingdom, 26 European Schengen countries without border controls, Ireland, China, India, South Africa, Iran and Brazil in the past 14 days.
Zienz said the government is taking measures to strengthen management in three key areas: testing, contact tracing and wearing masks.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will issue a contact tracing order, requiring airlines to collect information about passengers traveling to the United States, including phone numbers and email addresses. Airlines will be required to retain contact tracking information for 30 days.
In terms of wearing masks, he reiterated that President Biden has expanded the requirements for wearing masks on airplanes, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has doubled the fines for people who refuse to wear masks.
The new guidelines apply to all international travel, and the government will define "fully vaccinated" and which vaccines are eligible to comply with CDC regulations.

EU: Europeans vaccinated with AstraZeneca are expected to go to the United States
The European Commission (EC) said on Tuesday (21 September) that once restrictions are relaxed, people who have received two doses of AstraZeneca's COVID-19 (disease caused by the Chinese Communist virus) vaccine should be able to travel to the United States. The vaccine has not yet been approved by U.S. regulatory agencies.
European Commission spokesperson Eric Mamer said at a press conference, "From our perspective, it is clear that people who have been vaccinated with AstraZeneca can travel."
"We believe that the AstraZeneca vaccine is safe." Ma Mo added. However, he also pointed out that the final decision is still in the hands of the US authorities.
The Biden government confirmed on 20 September that it will relax travel restrictions on foreign tourists vaccinated against COVID-19 from November. It has not yet been confirmed which vaccines are accepted by the new policy, or whether vaccines that have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are accepted.
So far, the FDA has approved covi vaccines produced by Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, but AstraZeneca’s vaccines are still being reviewed.
The European Union (EU) Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton told AFP that he had a conversation with the White House COVID-19 coordinator, Jeff Zients, on the matter, who “listened to” It seems very positive and optimistic," but Zienz also pointed out, "For other vaccines, especially AstraZeneca, their health agency will make a decision."
In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) makes the final decision on which covi vaccines will be authorized for use in the country.
AstraZeneca’s covi vaccine was developed by Oxford University in the United Kingdom and has been approved for use in 27 European Union countries. According to public data, these countries have already injected approximately 70 million doses.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that he is "happy" that the Biden-Harris administration has resumed transatlantic travel, so that fully vaccinated Britons are expected to re-enter the United States.
Johnson said, "This is a wonderful boost for business and trade. It is also a good thing that family and friends on both sides of the ocean can reunite again."
About 18 months ago, the Trump administration announced that the United States would restrict flights from China, most of Europe, the United Kingdom, Brazil and other severely affected countries. But then the ban was lifted.
When Biden took office in January 2021, he once again restored the travel ban on Europe. The White House announced in July that it would continue to maintain travel restrictions due to the spread of the Delta variant.
For months, airlines and aviation groups have been pushing the Biden administration to remove these restrictions because European and British officials have relaxed entry regulations for American travelers.

Johnson & Johnson: The second dose of its covi vaccine provides stronger protection
Johnson & Johnson said on Tuesday (21 September) that its covi vaccine booster provides better protection against covi.
The company said that data from a Phase III clinical trial that its researchers are assisting in shows that the second shot of the vaccine provides 75% protection for symptomatic COVID-19 patients worldwide. Similar data in the United States is 94%.
The company said that when the booster was given within two months of the first dose, the recipients received four to six times the level of antibodies observed after the first dose.
The test also tested the situation of booster vaccination 6 months after the initial administration, and found that the antibody climbed 9 times after a week of booster vaccination; after a month, it continued to climb, reaching as much as 12 times.
These findings come from an experiment called ENSEMBLE 2. The experiment was conducted by researchers and other researchers from Janssen, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, in the United States and other countries.
At present, the complete data set of the experiment has not been released yet. Johnson & Johnson said it plans to submit the data to a peer-reviewed journal for publication in the next few months.
The company also pointed out that a preprint study conducted by its researchers and Harvard University found that the vaccine is 79% effective against covi-related infections and 81% for covi-related hospitalization.
"Our single vaccination produced a strong immune response and a long-lasting immune memory. Moreover, when Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine booster was given, the protection against COVID-19 was further improved." Dr. Mathai Mammen said in a statement.
Johnson & Johnson's covi vaccine is a single-dose vaccine.
Scientists outside agreed with these findings, but emphasized broad confidence intervals. For example, in the United States, the confidence interval for the effectiveness of boosters in asymptomatic patients is 58% to 100%.
Dr. Angela Rasmussen, a virologist at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization at the University of Saskatchewan, wrote on Twitter: “Although the confidence interval is very high Great, but there is evidence that the second shot (Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is more effective."
Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is one of only three vaccines authorized or approved for use in the United States. According to a number of previous studies, its use is far less widespread than the vaccines of Modena and Pfizer, and the effect is poor.
US regulatory agencies have not been authorized to approve Johnson & Johnson vaccine boosters. They are currently considering licensing Pfizer's vaccine booster. A team from the Food and Drug Administration rejected the recommendation to provide boosters for everyone last week, instead recommending the green light for boosters for people over 65.

Corporate CEO: The shortage of pilots is the next challenge in the aviation industry
As the world gradually gets rid of the impact of the covid pandemic, airline executives said that the shortage of pilots will become the next major challenge for the aviation industry to recover.
During the pandemic, the aviation industry suffered heavy losses due to travel restrictions for epidemic prevention and the sharp decline in the number of international travel. The industry experienced the worst year and a half in history. A large number of pilots, aircrews, and ground crews were fired or decided to retire in advance.
Alpha Aviation Group CEO Bhanu Choudhrie told Bloomberg that some government policies, such as mandatory vaccination for trainee pilots and travel restrictions for aviation personnel, also make it more difficult to recruit pilots.
The group has trained more than 2,500 pilots for companies such as Philippine Airlines, AirAsia Group, Cebu Pacific and Air Arabia.
Chowdhury emphasized that as the airline's fleet modernizes, more pilots are also needed.
He gave an example of the Airbus (Airbus SE, also translated as Airbus) A321 XLR jet aircraft. This type of long-distance narrow-body aircraft will be delivered from 2023. Compared with traditional models, these aircraft require more Manpower, which will exacerbate the shortage of pilots.
He said that some airlines have asked Alfa Aviation Group, hoping that they will train more pilots for their manpower requirements in two years.
According to a report by the international aviation news network Simple Flying (link), Emirates also revealed that with the gradual increase in passenger traffic, a quarter of the company's 119 A380 jumbo jets have restarted flights. The UAE expects to hire 3,500 new employees to support its operations in the next six months.
Chowdhury said it takes 18 to 24 months to train a pilot, which means that airlines must prepare them before the delivery of the new aircraft.
Boeing estimates that in the next 20 years, more than 600,000 new pilots will be needed worldwide, during which time airlines will receive 43,600 new aircraft.

Pfizer: Covi vaccine is safe and effective for children aged 5 to 11
Pfizer/BioNTech SE announced on Monday (20 September) that tests have shown that its covi vaccine is safe and tolerable for children aged 5 to 11 years. Good, and a "strong neutralizing antibody response" was observed. They plan to apply for authorization as soon as possible in the United States, Europe and other regions to vaccinate people of this age group.
The two pharmaceutical companies said they had observed a "favourable safety profile" in their vaccine trials on children under the age of 12, and it was roughly equivalent to those in the higher age group. In their trials, the two companies used a third of the dose used by people over 12 years of age.
The trial involved 2,268 children aged 5 to 11 years. The two companies claim that the side effects of these vaccines are comparable to those observed in trials with 16 to 25-year-old patients. The company also said that it expects to cover its results in an emergency use authorization application to be submitted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
"In the past nine months, hundreds of millions of people over the age of 12 have received our COVID-19 vaccine." Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said, "We are eager to extend the protection provided by the vaccine to this young group, but it needs to be authorized by the regulatory authorities."
"Since July, pediatric cases of COVID-19 in the United States have increased by about 240%, highlighting the public health need for vaccination." He added, "These test results provide us with a solid foundation for children aged 5 to 11 to seek authorization for vaccines. Basically, we plan to urgently submit these results to the (Food and Drug Administration) and other regulatory agencies."
In the United States, no covi vaccine has been authorized to vaccinate children under 12 years of age.

Supply chain disruptions lead to price increases and longer replenishment waiting periods
The global supply chain disruption caused by the CCP virus continues to have an impact on consumers' wallets and patience. The prices of commodities ranging from food to electronics continue to rise, and the time to purchase products is lengthened, and these problems are not expected to be resolved soon.
According to the US news network Newsmax, Aaron Alpeter, founder of Izba, a supply chain consulting, outsourcing and technology company, said the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the country’s digital economy for a decade due to remote work and learning. , Which completely impacted the long-standing supply chain structure.
He said, "COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the game (rules) and market that consumers originally preferred." He said.
John Boyd, head of the Florida-based Boyd Company and financial analyst, also believes that "the unprecedented boom in e-commerce that has soared during the pandemic" constitutes "supply chain efficiency". Long-term challenge".
He said, "All indications are that the online buying habit developed out of necessity during the peak of the pandemic will continue now."
He also said that leading e-commerce companies have seen their sales surge. "Amazon recently announced the highest quarterly sales ever, exceeding $100 billion. Wal-Mart's online business increased by nearly 80% in the most recent quarter, while Target's e-commerce business volume increased by 154% over the same period. "
However, although Americans are becoming more and more accustomed to online ordering and home delivery services, the pandemic shows that it is not always easy and simple to meet orders.
In the past 18 months, due to supply chain issues related to the epidemic, all types of products have either temporarily been out of stock, delayed delivery, or have significantly increased prices.
Alpert said that although the United States will eventually reach an equilibrium point, he expects that prices will continue to rise before that and delivery delays will become semi-normal.
He predicts that 2022 or even the beginning of 2023 will still be "a very active and difficult period from a procurement point of view."

According to official reports, as of 20 September, the number of confirmed cases in Putian, Xiamen and Quanzhou in Fujian Province were 191, 147 and 29, respectively. The People's Republic of China (PRC) recently announced its application to join the Comprehensive Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), which is regarded as causing pressure on Taiwan. The Tsai administration formally applied to New Zealand to join the CPTPP today (22 September 2021). On 23 September 2021, the Executive Yuan holds a press conference with relevant heads such as Executive Yuan Economic and Trade Negotiation Representative and Administrative Commissioner Deng Zhenzhong and Wang Meihua, Minister of Economy. A senior government official said at night of 22 September, "We are ready to join the CPTPP in the past few years," and now applying for it is "a matter of course."
Deng Zhenzhong said in an interviewon 22 September t that the Executive Yuan will report on the matter on 23 September, and a press conference will be held after the meeting to fully explain Taiwan's application to join the CPTPP.
It is reported that the Republic of China (ROC, Taiwan) has formally applied to New Zealand to join the CPTPP, and President Tsai Ing-wen has fully grasped the whole process. Taiwan has now completed individual consultations with 11 CPTPP member states. It has been assessed that the conditions for membership are mature and it has been decided to formally submit the documents.
The high-level government pointed out that "we are ready to join the CPTPP in the past few years," including seeking support from member states, completing the adjustment of regulations and communicating with the industry, and now submitting an application is "a matter of course."
As for China's early application to join the CPTPP, the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have successively applied to join the CPTPP. High-level government officials stated that both sides of the strait are "working on their own."
Taiwan has formally applied to join CPTPP

Taiwan will formally apply to join the CPTPP. The relevant officials confirmed that the news will be announced by the Executive Yuan's press conference on 23 September 2021, and the decision will be explained by the Executive Yuan Economic and Trade Office and the Economic and Trade Office Wang Meihua and others. After China announced its accession to the CPTPP last week, the outside world has paid attention to Taiwan's developments. Wang Meihua said that it has currently conducted non-style consultations with relevant member states and will apply when a consensus is reached.
China announced on the 16th that it will join the CPTPP, and the outside world is concerned about Taiwan's developments. It was rumored last week that Taiwan was also preparing to announce its accession, and the Executive Yuan decided to officially announce the time; relevant officials confirmed that Taiwan has submitted relevant application documents to New Zealand. The Executive Yuan will announce this news tomorrow, and the Economic and Trade Office will make an announcement. Wang Meihua, etc. will explain together.
Wang Meihua also revealed last week that at present, they have conducted non-style consultations with relevant member states, and hope to submit an application when a consensus is reached. "We think Taiwan will do this more naturally."
Wang Meihua recently pointed out that in order to join the CPTPP, Taiwan had made a lot of system and regulatory adjustments 10 years ago, and most of them have been completed, and some of them have yet to be reviewed by the Legislative Yuan. She also revealed that at present, non-style consultations have been held with relevant member states and will apply again when a consensus is reached. "We think it will be more natural for Taiwan to do so."
Regarding China’s surprise announcement of its application to join the CPTPP, Wang Meihua said that this move made member states "mostly felt very sudden." He also had reservations about whether China's current system and regulations could meet the high standards of CPTPP.
She explained that China has recently had some property redistributions, some practices that violated a free economy, and policies that are highly regulated and opaque. In addition, there are also some frictions with CPTPP member states, and the import of products is prohibited without justification. "So even if China submits an application, what will happen next is still worth observing."
Senior economic and trade officials said that CPTPP is actually a very high-standard agreement, which involves the opening of state-owned enterprises, the promotion of labor rights, and even the opening of the Internet. It is a great challenge to China. However, Taiwan is already prepared and obtained by comparison. With the support of important member states such as Japan, under the premise that the United States returns to the CPTPP, there is actually a certain chance.
Officials also analyzed that China’s announcement to join when the market is becoming more and more closed means that the statement is actually quite high, even a provocation to Taiwan and the US FTA; he also believes that Taiwan does not need to be nervous, because Taiwan has already prepared for the CPTPP in terms of regulations and is in the first class.

Jiangxi is surprised to see "fuyang", the authorities rarely report the track of the secret connection
On 20 September, Jiangxi Fengcheng Center for Disease Control and Prevention urgently notified that a fuyang case had appeared there and announced the detailed footprint of this case.
The notification stated that during the local nucleic acid test of the quarantined people, it was found that Zou was in Fuyang. On the 17th, Zou and Song were in the same carriage on the same high-speed rail from Changsha, Hunan to Nanchang, Jiangxi. So far, Song has been quarantined for observation, and some close contacts have been identified and control measures have been taken.
The announcement also announced Song's activity track, including high-speed rail, restaurants, supermarkets, restaurants, shopping plazas and staff dormitories. The authorities required personnel who had had contact with Song to report to the local area immediately and take protective measures.
Even the trajectories of close contacts were notified at the same time. It should be said that Fengcheng's approach is relatively rare. This makes me wonder whether the Fengcheng authorities had concealed the epidemic before.
As you all know, although the CCP has a "Skynet Project", it can monitor everyone in real time. However, it will take some time to fully investigate the trajectories of close contacts. It needs to find the person first, and then follow it step by step.
However, Fengcheng announced the actions of the close contacter Song at the same time as Zou's Fuyang was announced, and there was almost no time difference. This can only show two points. Either the surveillance by the authorities has left people nowhere to escape, or the authorities have covered up the epidemic and now have to report it.
According to an investigation by Epoch Times reporters, since this year, many areas of mainland China have seen cases of "fuyang". For example, on 1 May, Henan Yimei Group General Hospital notified a case of asymptomatic infection of fuyang; on 27 April, Hejin City, Shanxi notified a confirmed fuyang case; on 24 April, Wangkui County, Heilongjiang notified 1 case of fuyang and so on.
Everyone knows that the CCP’s reported figures can only be used as a reference and cannot be taken as true. Take Wangkui County as an example. An insider revealed to The Epoch Times that according to internal sources, there were a large number of fuyang cases in Wangkui County at the beginning of this year, with at least 30 people.
Because the CCP has habitually concealed the truth about the epidemic, the number of real cases of fuyang in China has always been a mystery. Therefore, I doubt this rare practice in Fengcheng, Jiangxi.
Netizens were shocked when they heard the news. Some said, "I just got home happily yesterday, and the day changed when I woke up", "As a Jiangxi native, I am really scared."
We still need to learn more about the real situation in Jiangxi, hoping that friends who know the truth can provide us with true and accurate information.

Does Xiamen "Poison King" exist? Two or three generations before the announcement
Judging from the situation reported by the CCP authorities, the epidemic in Fujian is still the most serious. The National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China announced today (20th) that as of 21 September, all the 28 new local confirmed cases nationwide were in Fujian. Among them, there were 16 cases in Xiamen, 7 cases in Putian, and 5 cases in Quanzhou.
On the 18th and 19th, Sun Chunlan, the Vice Premier of the Communist Party of China, went to Fujian during his investigation and asked for "resolute and decisive" measures to cut the chain of spread of the epidemic with a "swift knife", and to create an "epidemic-free" community, and so on.
At present, Xiamen has temporarily closed all scenic spots, and closed-loop management of the city's residential communities and villages is not allowed to go out unless necessary. Sun Chunlan has always been known for being "relentless." At her request, it is estimated that Fujian's prevention and control measures may be more stringent.
A relevant official said that Xiamen Huli District, Siming District, Haicang District, Jimei District and Xiang'an District have launched the third round of nucleic acid testing today (20 September).
However, some mainland netizens pointed out that the nucleic acid testing in the local community was quite chaotic, crowded into a mess, and many people missed the second round of testing. A netizen left a message saying that his colleague "has been out of line and has not done the first round."
The authorities mentioned in today's report that Xiamen had spread 2-3 generations before the first case was reported. The "Beijing Daily" client also reported a piece of news today that a "drug king" appears to have appeared in Xiamen. A 44-year-old man, Mei XX, had close contact with 31 people. Eleven of them have been diagnosed, and the other 20 are under quarantine and observation.
In this wave of the epidemic in Xiamen, the earliest reported case was on 13 September. If 2-3 generations have been spread before this, it means that there has been an epidemic in Xiamen earlier.
We cannot verify when the epidemic occurred in Xiamen. But this news reminded me of previous news from netizens. Netizens said in the revelations that Xiamen has long had an epidemic but it has been covering up, waiting for the opportunity to get rid of the pandemic.
On 19 September the Xiamen authorities notified that "after the expert group has studied and analyzed, the origin of the epidemic was imported cases from other cities." The notification stated that the 28 samples detected were all Covi72, which were highly homologous and belonged to the same transmission chain.

Will the authorities take over Evergrande? Financial institutions respond to bankruptcies early
On 20 September 2021, the British "Financial Times" suddenly broke the news that Evergrande might be taken over by the authorities. The article quoted two Evergrande Group executives as saying that this was a "last resort." One of the executives said, "The bank must extend Evergrande's loan period." If the bank stops cooperating with Evergrande, the group will immediately go bankrupt.
The article mentioned that both Huarong and HNA were taken over by the authorities when they were heavily indebted. The implication is that Evergrande will also be taken over by the authorities. The executive said that it is difficult for the government to deal with a large number of unfinished real estate projects and a large number of retail investors.
However, the article did not mention who the two Evergrande executives were, but judging from their statements, Evergrande did not get the promise of the authorities. Their argument is likely to come from "and so on." Because Huarong and HNA were taken over, Evergrande will also be taken over.
Without the promise of the authorities, it is inevitable that there will be suspicions of public opinion maintaining stability. In fact, Reuters reported yesterday (19 September) that Chinese financial institutions are preparing for the possible bankruptcy of Evergrande.
According to the report, some banks have already made provisions for loan losses, while others plan to extend short-term loans. The article pointed out that these actions show that mainland financial institutions are preparing for the possible bankruptcy of Evergrande.
The article quoted a senior bank executive who stated that the Agricultural Bank of China had already set aside some loan loss reserves and responded cautiously to Evergrande’s loans; the other two major lending banks, Minsheng and CITIC, pointed out that they were preparing to extend some short-term loans.
The financial system's early response to the collapse of Evergrande should be worthy of investors' attention, because the financial system understands Evergrande's economic conditions better than ordinary people.

Hong Kong real estate stocks plummeted. Xie Jinhe: Hong Kong will have major events
Today (20th) Evergrande Hong Kong stocks suffered another heavy setback, closing down 821 points. The decline was more than 10%, setting a new low in 11 years. Among them, China Evergrande fell 16.9% to 2.11 yuan, Evergrande Property fell 12.6% to 4.02 yuan, Hengteng fell 12.1% to 2.04 yuan, and Evergrande Motor fell 7.7% to 2.75 yuan.
Under the drag of Evergrande, the Hong Kong stock market has shown a sharp decline, especially in real estate stocks. China's fourth-largest real estate developer Sunac fell more than 10.48% to close at 12.98 Hong Kong dollars; Greentown China fell 6.67% to close at 9.64 Hong Kong dollars. The worst drop was Sony Holdings, which plummeted by 90% today, and announced the suspension of trading before the market closed.
This afternoon, Sony Holdings suddenly plummeted, once fell to 0.37 Hong Kong dollars, a decline of more than 90%. At 3:38 pm, Sony Holdings temporarily announced the suspension of trading. Before the suspension, the stock price was reported at 0.5 Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 87.01%.
Mainland media reported that Xinli Holdings has been aggressively expanding its high-leveraged financial operations and has been deeply involved in several rumors of capital chain breaks during its development. Recently, Sony has experienced several commercial bill delays and non-payment issues, and the problem of shortage of funds has surfaced.
Not only did mainland real estate stocks plunge, but Hong Kong's real estate company stocks also suffered a severe setback. Among them, New World fell by more than 11%, SHKP fell by more than 9%, Hong Kong's Cheung Kong Group fell by 8%, Henderson Land fell by more than 13%, and Sun Hung Kai also fell by more than 10%. In addition, the share prices of heavyweight properties such as Hysan, Hang Lung, and CKH Holdings also fell by 2%-3%.
This abnormal situation in the Hong Kong stock market has aroused the attention of people in the economic circles. Xie Jinhe, chairman of Caixin Media, said that the Hong Kong stock market has broken bottom frequently this year, with the heaviest decline in the world, which may indicate that major events will happen in Hong Kong.
Xie Jinhe stated on Facebook today (20th) that although it is the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, there are still transactions in Hong Kong stocks today. In the absence of any special negatives in the world, the Hang Seng Index plummeted by more than 1,000 points in the morning. This makes people involuntarily think of the theme song of "Shanghai Beach", "The waves are running, the waves" or "The great river goes east, the waves are exhausted".
Xie Jinhe said that Hong Kong stocks were the first market in the world to break below the annual support and enter the bear market first, and the decline was the heaviest in the world. If the stock market is a showcase for the economy, the Hong Kong stock market's plunge is heralding the future of Hong Kong. He pointed out that "it looks like something big is going to happen in Hong Kong, and the target is Hong Kong's local real estate tycoons."
Xie Jinhe believes that in the past hundred years, the big feet that propped up Hong Kong's economy have been broken one by one, and the Hong Kong stock market has frequently broken the bottom, which is probably the biggest breach in the global stock market. With the outflow of capital and the drain of talents, there is no room for optimism in Hong Kong's tomorrow. Hong Kong, which was prosperous for a hundred years in the past, may gradually perish.
