The epidemic heats up, China sharply reduces international flights this winter and next spring

As the epidemic in mainland China heats up again, Zhongnanhai's alert level is getting higher and higher, and the countdown to the Beijing Winter Olympics is coming. This winter and next spring, the Chinese Communist Party will significantly reduce international flights.

According to the announcement of the Civil Aviation Administration of the Communist Party of China, from 31 October 2021 to 26 March 2022, domestic and international passenger and cargo flights will be substantially adjusted. Among them, the number of international passenger flights in and out of China will drop from 644 flights per week in summer to 408. This is a reduction of 21.1% from the number of flights a year ago when the epidemic was more severe.

Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan routes are also reduced, with only 2,469 passenger and cargo flights, which is 17.9% lower than the 2020/2021 winter and spring season.

In response to the changing situation of "coexisting with the epidemic," more and more countries in the world have opened their doors and resumed economic activities but the CCP authorities have obviously acted differently.

According to a notice issued on the official website of the Civil Aviation Administration of the Communist Party of China, the number of passenger flights will remain at 2.2% of the level before the epidemic. Moreover, international flights continue to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures.

Australian female singer Chen Fangyu recently sang "Glass Heart" with Malaysian singer Huang Mingzhi. The song has aroused enthusiastic response after its release. As the lyrics satirize the "Little Pink" of China's extreme netizens, the degree of discussion on the song is also quite high. So far, it has been viewed more than 20 million times in 14 days. Chen Fangyu happily thanked his fans on Facebook and said that freedom of speech is priceless.

On 30 October, Chen Fangyu posted a post on Facebook to celebrate the breakthrough of 20 million hits on "Glass Heart". She showed a smiley face and a teary eye pattern, and wrote emotionally: "Free speech is priceless, and the song "Glass Heart" has taught me a lot. Thank you my parents for choosing to settle in Taiwan that year!"

Chen Fangyu also said that she was practicing Taiwanese and Chinese frequently recently, and hoped that netizens could teach her some idioms. Finally, she said wittyly: "Dried shrimps! (Taiwanese, meaning thank you all)"

Huang Mingzhi also posted on Facebook late at night on the 30th, saying that thanks to the love of "Glass Heart", the MV for the song exceeded 20 million views in just 14 days. This is also a new record for his exclusive YouTube channel.

"Glass Heart", sung by Huang Mingzhi and Chen Fangyu, has recently become popular on the Internet. Because of the words "climbing the wall", "cotton" and "common prosperity" in the lyrics, it is reminiscent of the "little pink" of extreme Chinese netizens. The new song is only online. One day, the two Weibo disappeared.

Chen Fangyu said, “It’s okay to delete Weibo. I heard a voice saying that the glass was heartbroken. It’s okay that I still have IG and FB.”

In an interview with the foreign media ABC News recently, she bluntly said that she did not intend to offend anyone, and said she did not regret participating in the production of this Chinese song.

Huang Mingzhi said on Facebook that if it is purely to make money, he will definitely choose people and places with more money. For him, many things are not measured by money. "If I were to give up my creative freedom and ideals, it would be contrary to my original intention as a creator, then I would rather not".

Senior media person Tang Hao said in the "Crossroads" program that Chinese people often say that for a thing to succeed, it must have "time, place, and harmony", and then do it in accordance with the nature and the people, and everything will go smoothly. It's a matter of course.  "Glass Heart" is a typical respondent, helping countless people to openly express their dissatisfaction with the CCP.

The CCP throws "The Benefits of Reunification" and Taiwan regarded it as "United Front Deception"

Reporter : Luo Ya / Editor : Song Feng / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2021/10/31/a103256940.html

The Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China recently described the benefits of reunification of Taiwan, claiming that Taiwan’s fiscal revenue after reunification can be used to improve people’s livelihood, Taiwan is safer, and the waist is stronger. However, these statements were regarded by the Taiwan Mainland Affairs Commission’s choking as a arrogant and wishful united front.

Liu Junchuan, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China, stated at the “Fourth National Reunification and National Rejuvenation Seminar” in China on 29 October after the reunification of the two sides of the Strait, not only peace and tranquility in Taiwan will be fully guaranteed, but economic development will also be fully enhanced, and people’s livelihoods and well-being will also be fully enhanced. It will be fully improved, and Taiwan’s fiscal revenue can be used to improve people’s livelihood.

Liu Junchuan also said that the Taiwan compatriots will be harder, more confident, safer and more dignified in the international arena.

Taiwanese financial expert Huang Shicong said that Liu Junchuan was painting a pie for Taiwan, and the mainland also painted similar pies for Hong Kong and Macau.

Taiwanese financial expert Huang Shicong said, "At present, what the people of Taiwan need most is to maintain their current lives, including the state of freedom and democracy. We can choose our own leaders, our own legislators, or our own freedom and space for speech. I think this is actually what the people of Taiwan do most."

Huang Shicong believes that the big pie painted by the mainland to improve the people's livelihood in Taiwan is actually not very attractive to the people of Taiwan.

Yuan Hongbing, a jurist living in Australia, pointed out that Liu Junchuan’s speech was an expression of the will of the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping.

Yuan Hongbing said, "The current cross-strait reunification is a pseudo-concept. Because the real reunification and the unity that conforms to the spirit of the law should be the voluntary union of free people. Now China is under the tyranny of the CCP, and 1.4 billion Chinese people actually are all political slaves of the CCP’s tyranny. They do not have their own independent will. Therefore, there is no unified political foundation between the two sides of the strait."

Huang Shicong also pointed out that Taiwan is becoming an increasingly popular country. Since last year, countries such as the United States, the European Union, and Japan have all deliberately promoted Taiwan’s international status and are willing to develop relatively good relations with Taiwan.

Huang Shicong also said that Taiwan implements the same free and democratic economic path as most countries in Europe and America, so it is easier for Taiwan to integrate into the international society than the mainland. On the contrary, the CCP’s international image is not good. Xi Jinping has recently been reluctant to participate in the International Climate Summit because he is worried about being besieged by the international community. Therefore, there is no such thing as a stronger waist in Taiwan after reunification.

In response to Liu Junchuan’s speech, Taiwan’s MAC said, “Beijing authorities have arbitrarily set and wished to describe the path of Taiwan’s development after reunification. The MAC expresses high doubts about China’s long-term thinking pattern of working with Taiwan in lies and delusions.”

The MAC emphasized that the "one country, two systems" proposed by the CCP to Taiwan in the 1980s is fundamentally contradictory. The main key lies in the CCP's own political and social system defects. Taiwan's ruling and opposition parties and mainstream public opinion have long rejected this proposition. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council again promoted this old tune at this time, claiming that the people of Taiwan and how various fields benefit after reunification are all United Front deceptions.

Huang Shicong said, "The biggest contradiction between Taiwan and the mainland lies in the political system and the completely different economic system. For example, China is a one-party dictatorship, and the people have no way to elect a leader, and there is room for legislators. Like participation in national policies, it’s top-down, and the people don’t have much room for wisdom."

Huang Shicong pointed out that at present, Taiwanese cannot accept the mainland's one-party dictatorship and the state advances and the people retreat. Taiwanese are also very satisfied with the current policies of universal health insurance and protection of private property. Taiwanese will not be destroyed because of a serious illness, and no one dares to demolish your house at will.

Yuan Hongbing said that he does not believe that the so-called cross-strait reunification will bring benefits to Taiwan because he saw that after being taken over by the CCP, Hong Kong changed from the Pearl of the Orient into a second-tier city with a dying economy.

Yuan Hongbing said, "The CCP’s powerful families have flooded into Hong Kong, and the CCP’s intelligence department has also sent a large number of spies to Hong Kong to exercise spy rule over the people of Hong Kong. Hong Kong’s status as a free port and the freedoms it had previously had basically been lost. And the powerful families of the Chinese Communist Party have turned Hong Kong into a paradise for their money laundering."

Yuan Hongbing said that if Taiwan were to be reunified across the strait by the CCP, Hong Kong would see Taiwan's future.

Since the beginning of this year, more than 600 sorties have been disrupted by the CCP’s military aircraft. What the CCP brings to Taiwan is not the peace propagated by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, but the threat of war.

The epidemic is approaching Zhongnanhai, Beijing ambulance transports nearly 6,000 people in 10 days

The covid epidemic is approaching Zhongnanhai. Xicheng District of Beijing began to implement management and control, and all movie theaters in the district were closed.

In the afternoon of 30 October, local time, the Beijing Emergency Center press conference stated that from 19 to 29 October, 565 ambulances were dispatched within 10 days, and a total of 5,642 people involved in the epidemic were transported, including 35 patients and 4,179 close contacts.

As of 4 pm on 30 October, the Chinese Communist Party officially notified that Beijing has newly confirmed 1 local confirmed case. In this round of the epidemic, a total of 30 local cases have been reported in the city, including 28 confirmed cases and 2 asymptomatic infections. Since the CCP's epidemic monitoring system is not transparent, the actual data needs to be verified.

The Beijing Xicheng District Cultural and Tourism Bureau, where Zhongnanhai is located, issued a notice that in view of the severe epidemic situation, from October 30th to November 14th, cinemas in the district will be temporarily closed.

Major theaters and performance venues in Beijing have successively issued announcements to cancel or suspend recent performances. In the core areas of Beijing, including Dongcheng District and Xicheng District, all hotels are prohibited from hosting wedding banquets.

ASEAN and the Myanmar quagmire: CCP's next move

BKavi Chongkittavorn, a veteran journalist on regional affairs.

The next three weeks will decide the fate of Myanmar as a member of the ASEAN family and the future trajectory of the grouping’s most important dialogue partner, China. At issue here is whether Senior General Min Aung Hlaing will be invited to attend the 30th anniversary ASEAN-China summit scheduled for 22 November 2021. Whatever decision is taken by Beijing, it will herald a new chapter in ASEAN-CCP relations and Myanmar’s future.

After months of suffering negative reviews of its handling of the Myanmar situation, Brunei—the current chair of the regional bloc—has emerged triumphant from the ASEAN-related summits with plenty of praise for the full-powered attendance of East Asian leaders. ASEAN’s centrality has been strengthened, even though the bloc’s solidarity has been bruised.

Indeed, Naypyitaw miscalculated the overall ASEAN reaction, thinking that the chair would give in at the last minute. The letter from the Myanmar junta’s State Administration Council (SAC) challenging the chair’s decision was fruitless; the decision was made on 15 October and all nine of Myanmar’s ASEAN co-members agreed. Myanmar Foreign Minister Wunna Maung Lwin asked the chair to put on record that his regime had reservations about this political decision.

At the end of the three-day summit, Brunei’s Sultan Hassan Bolkiah made it clear that ASEAN treats Myanmar as a family member and urged the country to comply with its five-point consensus without delay. Obviously, one immediate step the regime could take would be to welcome the special envoy from ASEAN, Brunei’s Second Foreign Minister Erywan Yusof, whose trip has been delayed for months. To show more progress, Naypyitaw should allow ASEAN and international humanitarian assistance to come in. At this juncture, Myanmar should be humble enough to learn from its mistake of thinking that a divided ASEAN would be susceptible to the junta’s manipulation.

With ASEAN centrality intact and the new ASEAN chair, Cambodia under Prime Minister Hun Sen, starting its reign, the bloc will witness new dynamics in the interaction between the top echelon and the family members. Hun Sen has stated clearly that it was Myanmar’s own actions that forced ASEAN to adopt such a damaging decision. ASEAN’s solidarity has suffered, but its credibility as an organization able to tackle its own troubles is respected. It remains to be seen if Myanmar will be invited to attend the 13th Asia Europe Meeting hosted by Cambodia on Nov. 25-26.

Obviously, the Tatmadaw’s history shows it is not inclined to tolerate interference from outsiders. In short, the junta will do whatever it deems fit, regardless of outside pressure or concerns. However, at the end of its statement, the ASEAN chair said succinctly that Myanmar should be given “time and space” to deal with the challenges at home. But if the junta continues to show recalcitrance, both the time and space for Myanmar to act will shrink further, to the detriment of itself and ASEAN.

The litmus test will be the upcoming ASEAN-China Special Summit to commemorate the 30th anniversary of relations. Unmistakably, the burden rests on the shoulders of Chinese President Xi Jinping, who will chair the important summit for the first time. This will be the second summit for China within a year. Will China invite the SAC leader to the summit?

Judging from China’s response and comments in the past nine months, it is as clear as sunrise in the morning that Beijing is highly likely to follow the ASEAN decision at last week’s summit. There are no reasons to take a different path. On the first day of the summit a small diplomatic unpleasantry occurred regarding the decision to grant comprehensive strategic partnership (CSP) status to China and Australia. Much to the chagrin of some ASEAN and dialogue partners, the release of the ASEAN-China summit statement, which should have followed the summit on the first day, was delayed by one day.

All things considered, in the next three weeks, it is “do or die” for the Tatmadaw. If Naypyitaw continues the same unhealthy non-compliance with the ASEAN consensus, it will not be able to attend the upcoming summit or other internal forums. However, if there is tangible progress on the implementation of the ASEAN consensus, especially the long-awaited visit of the ASEAN special envoy, the host might be more willing to have the junta leader join the meeting. China knows full well that without a legitimate coordinator to facilitate this relationship at the most critical moment, the ASEAN-China friendship could see unexpected collateral damage.

China’s position on Myanmar is clear: it supports the overall ASEAN effort to bring about peace and a durable solution to Myanmar’s crisis. It has been widely reported that China has maintained rather balanced positions towards all conflicting parties, as it wants to see the return of regional peace and stability as soon as possible. But Beijing’s positions will be challenged if the internal situation in Myanmar deteriorates further.

In a nutshell, the red line has now been drawn between China and Myanmar. The ball is in Naypyitaw’s court. It is worthwhile repeating that without compliance on the ASEAN peace plan, which Beijing fully backs, the SAC leader will definitely be absent from the summit. No time to waste, no space to stand.

Shanghai Disney emergency closed. Zhang Wenhong on Zhong Nanshan

After Shanghai Disneyland was closed due to the epidemic, Shanghai epidemic prevention expert Zhang Wenhong uttered to Zhong Nanshan in the early morning of the 1st. Zhang Wenhong warned that China was "normalizing the epidemic" while "Expert" Zhong Nanshan recently claimed that the epidemic could be controlled in less than a month.

Zhang Wenhong speaks in the early morning: Normalizing the epidemic
At midnight on 1 November 2021, Dr. Zhang Wenhong, director of the National Center for Infectious Diseases of the Communist Party of China and leader of the Shanghai New Coronary Pneumonia Medical Treatment Expert Team, warned on Weibo about the outbreak of Shanghai Disneyland, "the epidemic is normalized."
Zhang Wenhong has always adhered to the epidemic prevention concept of "coexisting with the virus". He said that China's "normalization of the epidemic" was pointed at by the CCP's epidemic prevention expert Zhong Nanshan. Zhong claimed at the 3rd Chinese Physician Public Welfare Conference held on October 30 that the epidemic in China could be controlled in less than a month.
However, many netizens questioned Zhong Nanshan, believing that Zhong's remarks are maintaining stability for the CCP.
Weibo netizen "Fupeiwan" questioned, "Control it in one month, and it will come again two or three months later! The vaccine has been given, and the booster injection has also been given. When is this kind of day the first?!"
"The disciple of Jiageng" asked: "How to solve the problem of repeated epidemics?"
"Hamburg Jia Jia Jia" sent out a distress message, "Can you come and see Ruili? It has been 8 months since the source has not been found yet, and the control is so strict, or new cases emerge every three days. If the source is not found, Ruili will not be able to recover to a normal life."
Some netizens bluntly said that the CCP’s extreme epidemic prevention has led to economic depression, and many people have difficulty making a living. "Douglasing" lamented, "In fact, what is more terrifying than the virus is poverty."
News (8)
Zhang Wenhong repeatedly hit Zhong Nanshan
In fact, since the covid outbreak started in Wuhan, Zhang Wenhong has often made remarks at odds with Zhong Nanshan.
Zhong Nanshan believes that vaccination can effectively control the epidemic. He said that he believes that the epidemic in China can be controlled in less than a month. It is expected that China's vaccination will reach more than 80% by the end of the year.
Zhang Wenhong said at a forum in Shanghai on 12 October 2021, “Today the goal of vaccination has changed. We have no way to completely stop the spread of the disease through vaccination.”
Zhang Wenhong also said, “As time goes by, it will become more and more common for all people who have received two injections to develop infections.”
As early as February 2020, Zhong Nanshan claimed at a press conference that “the epidemic first appeared in China, not necessarily its origin in China.” This remark is consistent with the CCP’s attempt to dump the source of the virus overseas.
However, when Zhang Wenhong was interviewed by the official media later, he was asked whether covid was introduced from a foreign country the earliest? Zhang Wenhong judged it as "No".
He analyzed, "This new infectious disease was the only one that first appeared in Wuhan in China. If it was spread to China from outside, it should be caused by several Chinese cities at the same time, rather than having a time sequence."
Zhang Wenhong's judgment on the source of covi was obviously inconsistent with official propaganda, and his interview was quickly deleted on Weibo.
Zhong Nanshan has been accused of being the CCP's queen epidemic prevention expert. Since the covid outbreak, he has been speaking out for the CCP platform. At the anti-epidemic commendation meeting on 8 September 2020, Xi Jinping personally put on the so-called "Republic Medal" for Zhong Nanshan, and Zhang Wenhong did not appear in the official list of anti-epidemic personnel.

It is difficult for the CCP to lead the Afghan issue and recognize the confrontation between neighboring countries
Image : On 27 October, the Chinese Communist Party’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi participated in a meeting of Afghanistan’s neighboring foreign ministers hosted by Iran via video, saying that “stalemate and confrontation between neighboring countries is not a long-term solution”. (Atta Kenare/AFP via Getty Images)
On 27 October, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at the meeting of Afghanistan’s neighboring foreign ministers that “it is inevitable that there will be differences between neighboring countries, but stalemate and confrontation are not a long-term solution”. This sentence reveals that neighboring countries have reached a deadlock on the issue of Afghanistan, and the CCP has been unable to handle Afghanistan for a while.
News (10)
The CCP failed to grasp the leadership of the Afghan issue
On 30 August, the United States announced the completion of its withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the CCP immediately prepared to fill the vacuum.
On September 8, Xinhua News Agency reported that "The Afghan Taliban formed an interim government to overcome these difficulties before running the country." The CCP can't wait to recognize the Taliban regime immediately, but it also knows that neighboring countries have their own opinions. On the same day, Wang Yi attended the meeting of Afghanistan’s neighboring foreign ministers, saying that “it is necessary to guide and urge the Afghan Taliban” and “to actively interact with all ethnic groups and factions in Afghanistan during the interim government”.
Wang Yi almost became the foreign minister of the Taliban. At this meeting, the CCP set aside Russia and tried to discuss the Afghan issue with the foreign ministers of Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. However, the joint statement after the meeting stated that “Afghanistan needs to form an open and inclusive political structure”.
Obviously, the countries surrounding Afghanistan do not want to recognize the Taliban's "interim government." On 11 September, the Taliban originally planned to carry out the inauguration of the so-called "interim government"; however, on 13 September, the Chinese Communist Party media voluntarily disclosed that "Afghan Taliban stated that the inauguration of the interim government has been cancelled" and Russia "will not participate in any way." On 14 September, Xinhua News Agency also took the initiative to report, "Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs: It is "too early" to talk about recognizing the Taliban regime in Afghanistan."
Russia changed its face, Iran did not support it, and the CCP was forced to back down. On 17 September, at the Afghanistan coordination meeting hosted by Russia, Wang Yi tried again to support the Taliban, but it was still not recognized by all countries. The post-meeting statement continued to say "establish an inclusive government that takes care of the interests of all ethnic groups." Seeing that the Taliban were unable to rise to power, the CCP only promised to provide 200 million RMB in supplies, and for the time being did not dare to place a larger bet on the Taliban, nor did it dare to publicly recognize the Taliban regime alone.
On 17 September, at the Joint Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and Afghanistan, Xi Jinping suggested in a video speech that “promote the smooth transition of the situation in Afghanistan as soon as possible”, “guide and promote the new political structure of Afghanistan to be more open and inclusive”, and “everyone is a community with a shared future. It is also a security community and should work together at critical moments."
Xi Jinping came forward in person to support the Taliban regime in Afghanistan in a "smooth transition as soon as possible", which was also not recognized by the heads of state. On 18 September, Xinhua News Agency announced the Dushanbe Declaration on the 20th Anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which only stated that “Member States believe that it is very important to establish an inclusive government in Afghanistan involving representatives of various ethnic, religious and political forces in Afghan society. ".
Neighbouring countries have their own minds and are ready to foster their own forces in Afghanistan. The Taliban supported by the CCP has never been recognized by other countries, including the CCP’s "allies" Russia, Pakistan, and Iran, as well as the Central Asian countries where the CCP continues to throw money. It has been almost two months since the U.S. military has withdrawn from Afghanistan. The CCP has not recognized the Taliban regime for a long time, and has actually failed to grasp the leadership of the Afghan issue.
News (11)
Iran presides over the meeting and Wang Yi misses the door
From 25 to 26 October, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese Communist Party stated that Wang Yi visited Qatar and met with a Taliban delegation in Doha, including the Afghan Taliban’s “acting deputy prime minister of the interim government Baradal” and “acting foreign minister Mutaki”.
Wang Yi said that Afghanistan is at a "critical stage of transition from chaos to governance" and "I hope Ata will further demonstrate openness and tolerance and unite all ethnic groups and factions in Afghanistan...". The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China stated that “Afghanistan gave a detailed introduction to the internal and external policies pursued by the Afghan interim government, and made a more positive statement on issues of concern to China and the international community”; Control is good, governments at all levels are gradually established, and government orders are unblocked... In the future, more outstanding talents from all ethnic groups will be recruited to participate in national governance."
Wang Yi pretended that the CCP "has no intention of establishing any sphere of influence in Afghanistan", and in fact once again tried to openly support the Taliban. This meeting was actually in preparation for another meeting of foreign ministers of neighboring countries to be held in Iran on 27 October.
On 27 October, Iran hosted a conference on Afghanistan in Tehran. The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russian foreign minister and UN Secretary-General Guterres made speeches through video. Wang Yi met with Taliban representatives in Qatar on 26 October, right next to Iran. However, on 27 October, he could not get through, so he went to visit Greece and participated in the meeting by video in Greece.
Wang Yi should deliberately abstain from attending meetings hosted by Iran, perhaps he is unwilling to give Iran face, or he is angry. Wang Yi still said that “Afghanistan is at a critical stage of transition from chaos to governance” and “we must attach importance to the adaptability and plasticity of the Afghan Provisional Government, and dialogue and exchange with it in a rational and pragmatic manner, so as to increase mutual trust and exert positive influence.” It is inevitable that there will be differences between neighboring countries, but stalemate confrontation is not a long-term solution."
Wang Yi already knows that countries are still unwilling to recognize the Taliban regime. The Taliban should have tried to communicate with other countries, but to no avail. In anger and helplessness, Wang Yi was forced to tell the truth; the "differentiation" among the countries was serious and they fell into a situation of "stalemate and confrontation." The CCP desperately wants to support the Taliban in power, but every country does not approve it, so how can Wang Yi not be angry.
News (12)
Afghanistan question is hard to resolve by end of 2021
The meeting hosted by Iran still failed to reach a consensus. The joint statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China continued to state that "a broad and inclusive political structure in which all ethnic groups and parties are involved is the only way to solve the Afghan issue."
It can be seen that the Taliban's recognition by various countries is still far away.
The statement also stated that “the two regular meeting mechanisms of the special envoy (special representative) on Afghanistan and the representative of the embassy in Afghanistan mentioned in the joint statement of the first foreign ministers’ meeting will be launched as soon as possible to achieve substantial results".
Such discourse shows that a consultation organized with great difficulty has not made progress, and the mechanism of regular consultations among countries has not even been implemented, and it is even more difficult to achieve results. The statement concluded by saying, "Agree that the third meeting will be held in China in 2022."
The next consultation between countries has been postponed to at least two months later, and it is difficult for the Taliban to be recognized as the "interim government" of Afghanistan in 2021. The CCP’s actual support for the Taliban has also been forced to slow down. Currently, it only states that “the first batch of aid materials have arrived in Kabul, and the remaining materials are being shipped one after another.”
At this time, the CCP thought of the United States and the West again. Wang Yi stated that the United States and Western countries need to "take up their due responsibilities and take practical actions as soon as possible to effectively help alleviate possible humanitarian crises."
The CCP is determined to control Afghanistan, and now it finally knows that it is more difficult to manage its backyard. The so-called "allies" are not reliable at all, and it has begun to count on the United States and Western countries to help pay for it.
Iran presided over the meeting and did not forget to ask for money publicly. The statement after the meeting "calls on the international community and donor countries to provide continuous, adequate and corresponding financial support to the Afghan refugee host countries, especially the neighboring countries of Afghanistan such as Iran and Pakistan."
The CCP and its "allies" probably began to miss the days of the United States and its Western allies in Afghanistan, but such days are gone forever. Today, the CCP and its "allies" feel unable to carry the burden of Afghanistan. The applause and sarcasm of two months ago should have disappeared.
The story of Afghanistan is far from over. How powerful is the CCP and how capable is the CCP’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs? It can be regarded as a cover on the Afghan issue, and the following dramas are still difficult to sing.

Is the virus changing due to the cooling of the epidemic in Japan? Luo Yijun analyzes the main reasons
The covid epidemic in Japan has recently cooled rapidly. The latest research points out that it may be the enzyme responsible for repairing mutations in the genome of the Delta mutant strain. It is too late to repair the mutations and lead to the extinction of the virus.  In this regard, Luo Yijun, deputy head of the medical response team of the Central Epidemic Command Center of China, said that the study and judgment of the virus change is the secondary reason, and the main reason is still the increase in vaccine coverage and the increase in public compliance with epidemic prevention measures.
Regarding the new research findings affecting the cooling of the epidemic in Japan, Luo Yijun pointed out that further data are still needed for further analysis.
Luo Yijun mentioned that in terms of the control of the entire epidemic, the change or mutation of the virus may be an important factor. A better effect will have a positive effect on the improvement of the epidemic.
However, Luo Yijun also pointed out that usually the epidemic can be slowed down. On the one hand, because of the higher coverage of vaccines, the coverage of vaccines in Japan has increased rapidly in the past few months. Some people hesitated about vaccines before, but the epidemic heats up in July and August. Since then, more and more people are willing to vaccinate, and the overall coverage rate has risen. On the other hand, the public’s compliance with epidemic prevention measures has increased. These are the main reasons for the control of the epidemic. Therefore, the change of the virus plays a relatively small role. It may be a secondary cause, not the primary cause.

10 big explosions a week in China, anomalous signals released before the Sixth Plenary Session

China’s recent explosions have been frequent. Since 21 October, more than 10 explosions have occurred in a row in just one week, causing many deaths and injuries. Some analysts believe that when the Sixth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China is about to debut, such vicious incidents cannot rule out the possibility of high-level fights.
In recent years, every time the CCP authorities encounter important meetings or major political developments, there have been explosive "accidents" or other appalling bloody incidents. For example, the Tianjin explosion during the Beidaihe meeting in 2015, and the vicious case of a dozen black mask thugs at the Kunming Railway Station that killed 31 people with knives on the eve of the two sessions of the CCP in 2014. Many major events have occurred during the nine years when Xi Jinping was in power.

Explosions occurred before the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee
On 21 October, the Propaganda Department of the Heping District Committee of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province issued an official message saying that at 8:20, there was a big explosion in the first hotel in the commercial and residential building, No.222, Nanqima Road, South Street, Taiyuan, Busy Street, Heping District.
According to a report by the Voice of America on 29 October, so far, at least 5 people have been killed and 47 injured in the explosion. Nearly 2,000 residents and nearly 100 businesses have been affected. The scene was quite tragic, in ruins, some buildings were bombed into bare buildings, all doors and windows were blown away, leaving only the concrete frame. The photos at the scene showed that only the frame of the nearby vehicle was left. The authorities have not confirmed whether the explosion was caused by a gas pipeline leak or a liquefied gas tank, saying that it is still investigating.
Before the explosion, mainland media reported that Shenyang Gas Group planned to renovate 200 km of the old gas pipeline network this year. The renovation project started in May, and there are currently 44 kilometers remaining. The renovation was expected to be completed before 10 November.
On 22 October, a chemical plant in the Alxa League High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Inner Mongolia exploded in the middle of the night. The Chinese Communist Party’s official media reported that at 23:00 on the 22nd, a flash explosion occurred in the oxidation workshop of Zhonggao Chemical Co., Ltd. in the Bayin Aobao Industrial Park of Alxa League. 4 people died, 1 was seriously injured, and 2 were slightly injured.
According to public information, the company's business scope includes: production and sales of pesticides, chemical products and raw materials (involving hazardous chemicals and precursor chemicals subject to the approved scope), import and export of goods and technology.
On 24 October, two explosions occurred in the north and south in one day. At around 5 am, a gas explosion occurred on the top of a residential building in Wensheng Community, Tiedong Sub-district Office, Wafangdian City, Dalian, Liaoning. The roof was blown up by the powerful explosive force, and bricks were scattered around the building in a mess. The fire was burning and thick smoke billowed. It took a long time for the fire truck to extinguish the fire after arriving at the scene. Authorities said the accident caused 2 deaths and 7 injuries.
At 3.52 pm on the same day, an explosion occurred in a laboratory on the campus of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Xiao Yang (pseudonym), a student who witnessed the entire incident, told the Tianmu News reporter who interviewed her: The incident laboratory was on the third floor, and there were three explosions at the scene. "I was doing an experiment in the laboratory on the fifth floor. The sound of the first explosion was very low, and I didn't hear it clearly." Xiao Yang introduced, and the second explosion sounded loudly, just like an earthquake. Everyone rushed from the fifth floor to the first floor and saw a lot of smoke from the windows on the third floor, changing from white smoke to black smoke.
As they fled through the window, a third explosion occurred shortly thereafter. Xiao Yang said: "The third explosion has the loudest sound, and there is a large group of sparks, which has a strong impact."
The school stated in a notification that 11 of the wounded were sent to hospital, of which 2 died.
At around 2 am on 25 October, an explosion occurred in the snack street at the north gate of the Huangdao campus of Shandong University of Science and Technology. Students and residents living nearby were awakened by the explosion. Some Chinese media reported that the explosion in the snack street was suspected to have been triggered by a stall. Some netizens posted videos on Weibo showing that the whole street was burned to the ground.
On 26 October, there were three large explosions in three provinces. At about 5:40 in the morning, Shandong Dingding Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. in Gaoqing County, Zibo, Shandong Province exploded. Trucks parked on the roadside were blown up, and most nearby buildings were destroyed by earthquakes. There were doors and windows of residents a little far away. It was damaged and the ceiling fell.
Some netizens posted on Twitter that the sound of the explosion could be heard 20 kilometers away. The dense smoke at the explosion site obscured the sun, and the ignition was still uncontrollable by 12 noon. The Chinese Communist Party’s official media reported that the cause of the explosion was a valve failure, which caused the butadiene to leak and cause an explosion.
At about 3 pm that day, an explosion occurred in a residential area on Min'an Road, Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. According to the introduction from surrounding residents to the news section "Urban Scene" of Jiangxi TV Station, the explosion originated from a workshop suspected of producing paint. After the explosion, a large amount of dust was dispersed. The cause of the explosion and the casualties are unknown.
In the evening, nine foreign fishing boats caught fire in the sea off Xiaoshizui Beach on Lingding Island, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. According to the video taken by witnesses, the scene was full of flames, smoke billowing and explosions were heard. Authorities said one person was injured and the cause of the fire is unknown.
On 27 October, there were also two fires and explosions in the north and south. At around 11:30, a high-rise building under construction in Zunsheng Park, Heping District, Tianjin City caught fire. According to the pictures uploaded to the Internet, the fire scene was full of heavy smoke, black plumes of smoke skyrocketed, and the cause of the fire was unknown.
On the same day, a fire broke out in Sisha Market, Henglan Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. The video and text description posted by Twitter netizen "Muyujian 112" showed that the burning building was a factory building and an adjacent hotel. The building has been burning continuously since the early hours of the morning, and casualties and property damage are currently unknown.

The historical reappearance of "explosion before every big event"
The official reasons for these 10 intensive and tragic accidents were almost all caused by gas pipelines, gas tanks, and concentrated combustibles such as chemical plants, laboratories, or related raw material users. This kind of "coincidence" of high-density and large accidents is very similar in category, which raises people's doubts.
Since Xi Jinping became the new generation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China in 2012, it is widely recognized that the biggest threat within the party comes from the Jiang faction, which has been deeply cultivated in the political arena for more than 20 years. Since Xi has been in power for 9 years, every time a key node of political transformation is involved, a major accident will inevitably occur. The outside world generally focuses on the "Jiang Zemin interest group" or "Jiang faction" headed by former party leaders Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong.
Among them, the major Tianjin bombing case six years ago was accused of being a man-made disaster. At around 23:30 on August 12, 2015, there were two big explosions in the dangerous goods warehouse of Ruihai Company in the Development Zone of Tianjin Binhai New Area.
According to the State Key Laboratory of Explosive Science and Technology (Beijing Institute of Technology), the State Key Laboratory of Explosion Science and Technology (Beijing Institute of Technology) simulated and calculated that the energy of the first explosion was about 15 tons of TNT equivalent. The energy of the second explosion is about 430 tons of TNT equivalent. During the period of consideration, several small-scale explosions occurred, and it was determined that the total explosion energy in this accident was about 450 tons of TNT equivalent.
TNT is often used to describe the power of an explosion. In theory, 1 kg of TNT can move a 100 kg object 4.2 kilometers, and 1 kg of blasting force can blow up a concrete structure house. Public information shows that the power of 1 ton of TNT is equivalent to a conventional bomb in World War II.
According to official figures released by the Chinese Communist Party, 165 people died in the explosion; 8 people were missing; and 798 people were hospitalized. Overseas media quoted the high-level CCP armed police as showing that as of noon on August 15, 2015, more than 1,400 people were confirmed to have died from the big explosion and more than 700 people were missing, including public security, fire, and armed police personnel. This figure does not include the number of dead bodies handled by the chemical defense forces at the scene, and the number of dead people received by hospitals far away from the scene. According to an insider of the Tianjin Port Public Security Bureau: "We have an internal statistical list of the number of people who have lost contact and confirmed sacrifices, but there is no way to tell."
The Epoch Times learned at the time from a reliable person close to the top of the Chinese Communist Party that there was a figure within the authorities. At least 600 people disappeared without a trace. They were suspected to have been "vaporized" under the ultra-high temperature of an instant explosion and chemical action, that is, the world evaporated. However, the relevant judgments dare not be disclosed to the public.
The cause of the Tianjin bombing incident on August 12 is complicated and confusing, and Zhang Gaoli, a heavyweight of the Jiang faction and a former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, is one of the key figures involved.
Ruihai International, the company involved in the explosion, was allegedly controlled by Zhang’s relatives, Li Xianyi; the location of the explosion was in Binhai New Area, which was also in the “vigorous development” area when Zhang was the secretary of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee; Zhao Jin, the son of Zhao Shaolin, the former Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee According to reports, "more or less" involved in the case, he was able to build a huge real estate kingdom in Tianjin, and Zhang Gaoli was behind him. Zhang Gaoli, who used to be in charge of Tianjin, was already a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China.
The political background at the time of the explosion became the focus. On June 26, 2015, Xi Jinping presided over a Politburo meeting to prepare the agenda of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and reviewed and approved the "Provisions on Promoting the Promotion of Leading Cadres (Trial)".
Overseas media later reported that the focus of the authorities was to take down those who were already in positions, incompetent, and obstructive, especially mediocre officials in high positions. In Xi Jinping's top-secret list of "can go up and down", there are a large number of high-level "can go down". Among them are many current Politburo members and a Politburo Standing Committee member, who rely on the former general secretary to "lift the sedan chair" to the top, and his actual ability is not good. Although the name of the person who carried the sedan chair was not named in this article, the media has long disclosed that after Jiang Zemin abdicated, on May 1, 2006, Zhang Gaoli, who was in charge of Shandong at the time, ordered Mount Tai to be sealed and ordered 8 people to carry special equipment for Jiang Zemin. The sedan chair went up the mountain, and he followed behind to "escort" him. It is no accident that the Tianjin Big Bang happened in this context.

Famous critics explode "coincidence"
Regarding the frequent occurrences of explosions in the current period, Chen Weijian, editor-in-chief of "Beijing Spring", does not believe that these events are being manipulated or planned. He analyzed from another perspective that in a country as large as China, countless things like this happen every day, but they are usually not reported or reported selectively. Most of these accidents have been obliterated, and we can't see them. There are probably reasons for such intensive reporting.
He said that this may be related to the current Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and it may be related to Xi Jinping's purge of certain factions in the party and other aspects. Because (occurring) these incidents, some officials must be dealt with. So whether these officials are related to the factions in the party, we can only analyze the situation as a whole. However, whether the officials in the places where these accidents occurred is related to the purge within the party, this needs to be analyzed in detail.
Chen Weijian questioned that another strange aspect of these explosions is the number of deaths. It is not credible that such a big explosion killed so few people. The CCP is very particular about the number of deaths announced. The actual number of deaths is usually far from the reported number. This will also affect the struggle within the party. Therefore, local officials will try to underreport (the number of deaths) and conceal the intensity of the accident as much as possible. . Most accidents in China happen like this.
Chen Weijian believes that the CCP government now reports these incidents, but not before. This is very subtle and weird. "Why do you want to report continuously and intensively now? I suspect that this involves inner-party struggles."

Expert: The CCP is committing the Soviet Union's mistakes in the Cold War
Reporter : Chen Ting / Editor : Ye Ziwei / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/21/11/1/n13344270.htm
American think tank experts pointed out that the CCP has committed the Soviet Union's mistakes during the Cold War of the last century. Experts believe that this will make Beijing more isolated internationally and fall into the strategic siege of Washington.
Hal Brands, a diplomatic and defense expert at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a Washington think tank, wrote a few days ago (link) that the CCP has abandoned what it has done for decades to avoid hostilities with the United States. Strategy, began to expand nuclear capabilities, and increasingly did not conceal its hostility to the Western world.
Recently, the competition between the United States and China has become increasingly fierce, and many analysts are discussing whether the relationship between the United States and China has entered a "new cold war" period.
Although U.S. President Biden stated in the United Nations General Assembly more than a month ago, the United States does not seek a new Cold War. However, the top general of the US military, Mark Milley, said last week that Beijing’s hypersonic weapon test is close to the historical “Sputnik moment”. This statement specifically shows the progress of the US’s weaponry against the Chinese Communist Party. Worries. (learn more)
Brands believes that although the CCP seems to attach great importance to history, research funded by the government also analyzes the reasons for the rise and fall of the Soviet Union. However, it "didn't learn the most important lesson from the competition between the United States and the Soviet Union."
He pointed out that after the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the Tiananmen Square incident, the CCP tried its best to avoid split within the party and began to "strengthen ideological loyalty and closely monitor dissent before it gets out of control."
Brands quoted what Xi Jinping said in 2013. At that time, the media obtained a copy of Xi Jinping's speech that was allegedly circulated among CCP officials. Among them, Xi Jinping said that the reason for the disintegration of the Soviet Union was that "no one was a man, and no one came out to fight" the democratic trend. (Link)
However, Beijing is repeating two important mistakes that the Soviet Union made before its disintegration.
One is to fall into the encirclement of Washington.
Brands said that American scholar Rush Doshi once analyzed that the CCP regarded the United States as its main opponent as early as 1989. However, precisely because of fear of the power of the United States, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party Deng Xiaoping focused on cultivating good relations with the United States and other major countries in order to buy time, access to global trade and advanced technology.
Brands said that the leadership of the Communist Party of China now believes that it has reached the moment of "rising from the east and descending from the west", and its speech and policies have a clear Cold War color. The CCP diplomats publicly criticized American officials for their "wolf war" remarks, which are also reminiscent of the verbal confrontation during the Cold War.
He pointed out that Beijing's aggressive behavior is triggering counterattacks from Japan, Australia, India, Britain, and small countries in Asia and other regions, and may make the US policy stronger.
The second is an arms race with the United States.
Brands wrote, "The arms race eventually exhausted the Soviet Union and gave play to the economic advantage of the United States."
In the past, Beijing has maintained a low level of nuclear deterrence and focused its expenditures on areas where it has more advantages, such as strengthening conventional warfare in waters near China. However, the situation is different now.
"At least, the idea that Beijing will be satisfied with moderate deterrence is no longer credible." He wrote that the CCP believes that it can use its economic and military capabilities to profit in international affairs.
He pointed out that the CCP is constantly building new nuclear missile launch sites and advancing the research and development of hypersonic weapons. The Beijing authorities may hope to keep pace with the United States in nuclear capabilities in the mid-2030s.
Why does the CCP no longer avoid being hostile to the United States? He believes that the Chinese Communist Party’s building of nuclear capabilities is to weaken the strategic advantage of the United States and requires the United States to compete with it in conventional warfare. Wolf Warriors diplomacy seems to cater to the expectations of the domestic people.
At the same time, Chinese leaders seem to believe that the US’s hostility towards the CCP has lasted for two presidents. This is almost a foregone conclusion and there is no need to reduce provocations.
"The greater impetus seems to be the unstable combination of optimism and fatalism. Xi Jinping asserted that China has risen and no longer needs to follow the orders of the United States." He wrote.
However, Brands believes that this will cause the CCP to lose internationally.
Brands said, "Xi Jinping's remarks about self-sufficiency conceal China's huge dependence on advanced semiconductor technologies. Beijing is still vulnerable to strategies like Moscow."
"China may eventually regret and forget the lessons it has learned from the Cold War." Brands said.

U.S. condemns Myanmar military's violence in Chin State
Source : The Irrawaddy / Image courtesy : Thantlang CDF
Washington has condemned the Myanmar junta’s horrific use of violence in Chin State and called for urgent international action to hold the Myanmar military accountable for its brutality. The United States (US) intervention comes after regime forces shelled the Chin State town of Thantlang again last Friday, destroying over 160 houses and buildings including two churches.

On Sunday, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a press statement that such brutal actions by the military regime against people, their homes and places of worship lays bare the junta’s complete disregard for the lives and welfare of civilians.

“These abhorrent attacks underscore the urgent need for the international community to hold the Burmese [Myanmar] military accountable and take action to prevent gross violations and abuses of human rights, including preventing the transfer of arms to the military,” the spokesperson said in the statement.

At least 164 houses out of 2,000 homes in Thantlang burned down after junta artillery strikes on Friday. The fires started after the bombardment and engulfed the town until Saturday morning, as the town’s residents have largely fled and any attempt by people in surrounding villages to extinguish the fires would have been a risk to life, according to the Chin Human Rights Organization (CHRO).

The majority of Thantlang’s population had already evacuated the mountain-top town due to earlier artillery strikes. Around 20 buildings burned down in late September after junta shelling, while a Christian pastor who tried to help put out the fires was killed by regime troops.

Many people in Thantlang have now lost not only their homes, but all their belongings.

Junta forces also deliberately torched houses after the artillery strikes, according to local resistance groups. The shelling is said to have started after a soldier who was looting a shop was shot dead by civilian resistance fighters.

During the latest bombardment on Friday, the Church on the Rock and the Presbyterian Church caught fire, along with a building attached to the Thantlang Baptist Church, the largest congregation in the town, CHRO said in their statement.

Save The Children also reported that their office was destroyed in the blaze. The London-based charity said in a statement that it is concerned for the safety of 20 children and their teachers in an orphanage located at the entrance of the town.

Junta spokesman Major General Zaw Min Tun disputed the reports and accounts by locals of the military’s role in Thantlang’s razing as “groundless”. He accused local People’s Defense Forces of setting fire to the houses.

Salai Issac Khen, a former Chin State municipal minister under the ousted civilian National League for Democracy government, condemned the military’s shelling of Thantlang, saying that the regime will have to take responsibility for the horrific act, “It is not easy to build a house in mountainous Chin State. Chin people have no reason to burn down their houses.”

Dr. Sa Sa, an ethnic Chin and the parallel National Unity Government’s Minister of International Cooperation, said he was shocked by the sheer level of brutality and the cruel disregard for humanity displayed by the junta forces.

He said his homeland has been subjected to an extreme campaign of violence and terror for standing strong in the struggle for democracy and freedom.

“Without the support and intervention of the international community, the fires lit in Chin State by the murderous military regime will engulf the entire nation,” Dr. Sa Sa said in a urgent appeal letter.

The minister called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action to cut off the junta’s access to money, financial services, fuel, weapons and ammunition and, most all, international legitimacy.

30,000 people locked up at Shanghai Disneyland. Foreign media: Chinese-made vaccines have poor protection, fear of epidemic expansion
Image : Shanghai Disneyland, China, closed the park on Sunday due to epidemic prevention. (Associated Press)

Shanghai Disneyland, China, due to the presence of the footprints of the confirmed cases, forced more than 30,000 people to be locked in the local area for nucleic acid testing. In addition, on the 30th, Jiangxi Qianshan was also diagnosed with one person, and the traffic lights in the city were turned to red. People are prohibited from going out in disguise. According to foreign media, China's vaccine protection and anti-virus effect are worse than those of European and American mRNAs, and only the Chinese authorities need to take measures to prevent the epidemic.
Bloomberg today listed China’s tough anti-epidemic measures, including yesterday’s mandatory nucleic acid test for nearly 34,000 tourists from Shanghai Disneyland. They were not released until midnight. Although the test results are negative, these people still need to be quarantined at home for 2 days and retest within 2 weeks.
Prior to this, after a case was discovered in Qianshan Mountain, Jiangxi, China, which broke the province’s record of no confirmed cases for 610 days, the authorities turned all traffic lights to red to reduce people going out and avoid the spread of the virus. Had to stop urgently.
The report also mentioned the tragic situation of Ruili, Yunnan due to the long-term lockdown. In the past 7 months, a baby in Ruili has been tested for the virus 74 times since September last year. The former deputy mayor of the city requested more support from Beijing last week. Straightforwardly, Beijing alone cannot control the virus, and continued restrictions will only stifle small and medium-sized enterprises.
The report believes that as countries around the world unblock and open borders, China claims that more than 75% of its 1.4 billion population have been vaccinated with local vaccines and provided booster injections for adults, but the epidemic prevention measures are increasingly ridiculous.
The report pointed out that Chinese officials only provide local vaccines, using traditional inactivated vaccine technology. Facts have proved that compared with the mRNA vaccines used in the United States and other regions, vaccines made in China are less effective in preventing the spread of the virus and preventing infection.
