Bamboo Airways signs flying data contract with Boeing Digital Solutions to learn more about 777X

On 16 February 2022, Bamboo Airways, led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai – Deputy Director General of Bamboo Airways, signs the flying data contract with Boeing Digital Solutions to learn more about 777X.

Bamboo Airways hopes to add 777X as its future new aircraft to its existing fleet, which comprises of A321neos, A320s, Embraer E190LR and 787-9 aircraft types.

777X can seat 392 to 422 passengers. It brings lower operating and maintenance costs and is more fuel-efficient than other same-sections aircraft.

Bamboo Airways signs MoU with SR Technics for CFM56-5B engine maintenance

Nguyen Khac Hai has also signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement with SR Technics for 60 million USD CFM56-5B engine maintenance over 10 years, digging service 5 years creation, providing technical services (scene support services, etc.) and components and repairs requirements.

Boeing announced at the air show to increase the 767-300BCF conversion capacity in Guangzhou. The 767-300BCF project has received more than 100 orders and committed orders from customers around the world, and can provide wide-body converted freighters to meet the growing market demand. These demands included orders last year from ATSG, the world's leading freighter lessor, and DHL, which placed its largest order to date for the 767-300BCF. Envoy Air orders for three E175 from Embraer

Embraer has received a firm order for three E175 aircraft from American Airlines. The aircraft will be operated by Envoy Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Airlines. Delivery of the new aircraft is scheduled for 2022.
