I am grateful to Trinh, the Guest Relations Executive of Famiana Green Villa for connecting me on WhatsApp to address my inquiries about access to the villa and looking for vegetarian meals in Phu Quoc so that it is easier for me to explore the surrouding area myself.
The airport shuttle van of Famiana picks up guests of Famiana Green Villa and Famiana Beach Resort & Spa. Look out for the staff holding the placard showing Famiana logo at the Arrivals Exit. While the staff waits for international flight passengers for 60 minutes, it takes ten minutes a ride to Famiana Green Villa, the Villa Zone extension of the Famiana Beach Resort & Spa.
There are welcome drinks upon check-in per room at the reception.
I am happy that I have made the right choice to stay in Famiana Green Villa as it is located in the middle of Phu Quoc and the flight path from Phu Quoc is behind the Villa. I can see planes take off and fly high to the sky next to the parking bay outside the entrance/exit of Famiana Green Villa.
I did not engage in either archery or pickleball at the in-villa sports centre because the staff leave the sports centre section for archery at 5 pm sharp and it needs two people to engage in a pickleball match until 9 pm.
During off-peak season of travel to Phu Quoc, there is no need to pay 100,000 VND for access to Bai Truong, the beach behind the entrance of Famina Beach Resort & Spa but the space on the beach is limited. The Resort & Spa is 450 metres away from Famiana Green Villa and the distance from my room at the villa to the villa restaurant is of less than one minute walk.
The villa restaurant, which serves the must-try delicacy quail eggs soup during breakfast, does not serve lunch and dinner but meals are delivered directly to the room and the room minibar is well-stocked with snacks. Debit card payments are accepted.
I am satisfied with my stay that I bought a pair of Famiana slippers as a memento of my villa stay in Phu Quoc. I will stay here again if necessary because of the free return airport transfers and it is next to the flight path from the airport.
