Recently, CCP China has stipulated that foreigners that intend to enter the Communist country need to fill in its e-Arrival card 72 hours to one week before departure for the mainland. Nowadays, the paper arrival cards at Chinese airports are no longer issued and unavailable.

The reporter has gone through the procedure at https://s.nia.gov.cn/ArrivalCardFillingPC/entry-registation-home before departures for Tianjin and Beijing last week. Errors in an e-Arrival card can be superseded by the updated e-Arrival card.

Requirements to complete the CCP China e-Arrival card :
- Upload a scanned clear copy of the passport showing the expiry date.

- Indicate whether the foreigner is visa-exempt.

- Indicate port of entry, city/cities on transit in China, address in CCP China even when on transit and city/port of departure.

There is no requirement for health declaration.

Print or screenshot the-e-Arrival card with the QR code and take it along to the CCP China Immigration.

At the Immigration, the officer does not ask the foreigner for the handphone to check if the foreigner has commented against CCP before.

So, foreigners can be at ease when travelling to cities in CCP China with the e-Arrival card.

Immigration clearance is done within two minutes, thus reducing the queue for getting passports stamped.
