The newest plane-spotting site in Beijing has been discovered. On 5 July 2026, I walk towards the southeastern side of Golden Phoenix Hotel after crossing the road from the hotel exit. After reaching the bus stop for Beijing Bus 850, I turn around and walk towards the lane that is linked to Litian Road. After walking for less than a minute, I reach Yinghua Community Road Branch Line (樱花小区路支线).
On Yinghua Community Road Road Branch Line, notice China Post Office opposite. Turn right and pass by the electric car refuel station of Yinghua Community, notice two entrances to the Yinghua Community. The first entrance leads to a few houses. I notice an Air China A320 flying overhead. Further walk down and turn towards the second entrance and walk in. I notice more planes fly overhead towards the eastern direction of Golden Phoenix Hotel.
Bordering the second entrance of Yinghua Community is an almost empty field. I stop by a shade and manage to shoot more photos of aircraft flying in the sky towards the eastern and western direction of Golden Phoenix Hotel.
I can even see planes flying towards the direction of Xihu Lake, the famous plane-spotting side nearest to Beijing Capital Airport!
That is the newest plane-spotting site Yinghua Community Road Branch Line. From the end of the lane, I walk down, pass by the Shouangongsi bus stop, cross the traffic lights and reach Golden Phoenix Hotel in one minute!
