Epidemic prevention arouses public grievances, mourning Jiang Zemin becomes Xi Jinping's new problem

The third-generation leader of the Communist Party of China, Jiang Zemin, passed away on 30 November 2022. The New York Times analyzed that Chinese society was relatively open when Jiang Zemin was in power, and the current leader Xi Jinping faced strong social backlash due to his iron-fisted epidemic prevention. How to mourn Jiang Zemin is particularly tricky at this time.
Before the 96-year-old Jiang Zemin died of illness in Shanghai on 30 November, demonstrations broke out in many places in China because people were tired of the strict covid epidemic prevention restrictions and it was the largest wave of civil protests since the Tiananmen Square incident in 1989. Some of the demonstrations call for a return to the political liberalization that was conceivable and even openly discussed in the 1990s when Jiang Zemin was in power.
The New York Times analyzed that when China is trying to cope with the escalation of the epidemic and the economy is losing momentum, Xi Jinping must preside over Jiang Zemin's memorial ceremony. another challenge.
Hu Yaobang, former general secretary of the Communist Party of China, passed away in April 1989. A large number of students gathered in Tiananmen Square in Beijing to mourn, which eventually turned into the June 4 incident of violent suppression.
Wang Huiling, a professor of political science at the University of Toronto in Canada, said that Jiang Zemin did not enjoy Hu Yaobang's high reputation, but the way the CCP mourned him may still arouse more people's anger. Jiang Zemin's death will at least give people a legitimate reason to gather to mourn.
In the decade since Xi Jinping took power, authoritarian policies have brought censorship and ideological control to new heights. As soon as the news of Jiang Zemin's death came out, a large number of mourning articles appeared on the Chinese Internet, some comparing Jiang Zemin and Xi Jinping in a metaphorical or cynical tone.
A comment on Weibo recalled the floods in many places in China in 1998. When Jiang Zemin inspected the disaster situation, he held a loud public address to appeal to the rescuers to persist to the end and prevent the embankment from collapsing. The commentary wrote that Chinese society was forging ahead, high-spirited, and singing into a new era.
The analysis wrote that during Jiang Zemin's tenure, he was exaggerated at times, but when his political life was faced with a test, he used an iron fist. This is the case with Falun Gong followers but the Chinese people still have good reason to miss the time when Jiang Zemin came to power in 1989 until he stepped down from military power in 2004.
China was moving from a post-Tiananmen political freeze to years of dizzying, sometimes reckless and polluting growth. The CCP firmly controls political life, yet allows human rights lawyers, commercial media, dissidents, and liberal academics to participate in public debate. This little freedom no longer exists today.
Another Weibo comment thanking Jiang Zemin for allowing Chinese audiences to see the 1997 movie "Titanic" was deleted after receiving tens of thousands of likes.
Hours after news of Jiang Zemin's death was announced, censors on Weibo quickly restricted news comment functions. The New York Times judged that after the Chinese people rebelled against the iron-fisted epidemic on a large scale, this move is to prevent relatively harmless nostalgia from turning into a situation that satirizes Xi Jinping and the CCP.
Last weekend, demonstrations broke out in Shanghai, Beijing and other major Chinese cities, and a large number of people took to the streets to oppose the strict dynamic zero epidemic prevention policy. Some demonstrators seized the opportunity to advocate democratic reforms, freedom of the press, and an end to censorship, and even called for the resignation of Xi Jinping and the CCP. The death of Jiang Zemin today is reminiscent of the Tiananmen student movement triggered by the death of Hu Yaobang in 1989.
Beijing historian Zhang Lifan wrote in response to the New York Times question that Xi Jinping can use Jiang Zemin's memorial ceremony to try to get out of isolation. Whether this is a farewell to the June 4th nightmare, or a repeat of the nightmare, the outside world can only wait and see.
However, Lin Heli, a senior researcher at the Jamestown Foundation, an American think tank, believes that Xi Jinping has already laid a net in the security field, and the possibility of the Tiananmen incident happening again is extremely low. Jiang Zemin's death will not have a ripple effect on China's political situation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to mourn the former leader of the Communist Party of China, Jiang Zemin, and mentioned the Treaty of Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation signed by the two sides in 2001 but the outside world believes that this treaty is actually ironclad proof that Jiang Zemin betrayed the country.

Putin issued a eulogy saying Jiang Zemin had made "contributions" to Russia
The CCP officially reported on 30 November that Jiang Zemin died in Shanghai at the age of 96 due to leukemia and multiple internal organ failure.

According to the Kremlin website, Putin said in the telegram that Jiang Zemin is a "faithful friend" of Russia and has made "immeasurable" contributions to the rise of Sino-Russian relations to the level of trusted partners and strategic cooperation.
"The Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation we signed in 2001 laid the foundation for a qualitative leap in comprehensive bilateral relations." Putin said that he will always remember Jiang Zemin in his heart.
However, the treaty mentioned by Putin is actually one of the irrefutable proofs of Jiang Zemin's betrayal of the country.

Jiang Zemin and two Russian presidents signed a traitorous treaty
Jiang Zemin and former Russian President Yeltsin signed the "Agreement on the Eastern Section of the Sino-Soviet Border" and "The Narrative Protocol on the East and West Sections of the Sino-Russian Boundary" on May 1991 and 9 December 1999 respectively, acknowledging the signing of the Qing government and Russia. A series of unequal treaties sold 1.5 million square kilometres of territory.

Lavrov signed the "Supplementary Agreement on the Eastern Section of the Sino-Russian Boundary" in Beijing, and about half of the area (about 164 square kilometers) of Heixiazi Island was assigned to Russia.
In 2005, the CCP assigned 23.02 square kilometres of the 50-square-kilometer Abagait Chau to the Russian side. Jiang Zemin also allocated the mouth of the Tumen River to Russia, sealing off the mouth of Northeast China leading to the Sea of Japan.
Jiang Zemin sold about 1.6 million square kilometres of territory to Russia, an area equivalent to dozens of Taiwans. These treaties were announced by the Russian side, and only then did the Chinese learn that Jiang had quietly sold out a large area of land.

Scholars expose Jiang Zemin's identity as Russian Spy
The reason why Jiang Zemin responded to Russia's requests was because he was once a spy of the Russian Far East Bureau and was caught by Russia.
Lu Jiaping, a Chinese historian, once issued an open letter exposing Jiang Zemin's "second traitor". The second traitor is that Jiang Zemin himself is still a spy of the KGB intelligence and spy agency of the Soviet Union.
It is reported that Jiang Zemin was sent to Moscow in March 1955 to learn electromechanical knowledge while he was working at the Changchun No. 1 Automobile Factory. At that time, the Soviet intelligence agency discovered that Jiang Zemin was the eldest son of the great traitor Jiang Guanqian (Jiang Shijun), and used his background as a Japanese puppet traitor to intimidate him, and sent pornographic spies to lure Jiang Zemin. Jiang immediately took the bait and became a KGB agent, responsible for collecting various information on CCP students studying in the Soviet Union and mainland China.
In May 1991, Jiang Zemin visited the Soviet Union as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China. When visiting the Ligachev Automobile Factory, the Russian side specially arranged for Jiang to "coincidence" the Soviet pornographic spy Krava who made Jiang fall under her skirt. In order to cover up this dark history, Jiang signed a secret traitorous treaty with the Soviet Union.

Jiang Zemin is a sinner of the nation
Jiang Zemin came to power because he supported the suppression of the "June 4th" students. During his term of office, he not only sold the country and ruled the country with corruption and prostitution, but also brutally persecuted Falun Gong, pushing the morality of the Chinese nation to the road of destruction. The outside world summed up Jiang Zemin's life in eight words: "Do all the ugly things, and never do the bad things."
The Epoch Times special article "Jiang Zemin Is Dead" pointed out that Jiang Zemin has brought disaster to the country and the people, and committed heinous crimes against the Chinese people, the Chinese nation and the world. Jiang Zemin is a sinner of the nation and history, and his crimes must be judged and liquidated by history.

Jiang Zemin's scandals and crimes covered up by CCP officials
Image : Falun Gong practitioners in the United States held a rally to appeal to Jiang Zemin, the chief culprit of Falun persecution of Falun Gong. (Minghui Net)
At 4.37 pm on 30 November, Jiang Zemin, the former leader of the Communist Party of China who had been dying, was officially declared dead by the official announcement. Judging from the official time of death announced at 12:13 on the same day, and the announcement of his death 4 hours later with a detailed obituary and the list of the highest-level funeral committee, the CCP should have known about his dying and made arrangements early. In fact, before Xi Jinping’s visit to Indonesia to participate in the G20 summit in the middle of the month, some netizens broke the news that Baidu had received a funeral order, and it was estimated that a certain important person was about to die. Now it has been confirmed.
After the death of the heinous Jiang Zemin, the CCP issued an obituary, "A Letter to the Whole Party, the Army, and the People of All Nationalities in the Country." This obituary not only covered up the many scandals and crimes committed by Jiang Zemin when he was in office, but also missed the last chance the CCP liquidated Jiang Zemin.
So, what scandals and crimes of Jiang did the obituary cover up?

CCP officials cover up the scandal that Jiang participated in training courses for Japanese and puppet spies during his college years and that his father and son were both spies
The obituary said that during his university studies, Jiang "had been baptized by actively participating in anti-Japanese patriotic activities" and formed a Marxist world view, "establishing the ideals and beliefs in life of striving for national liberation and people's happiness." After graduating from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1947, he went to the factory to engage in revolutionary propaganda work.
But the real history is not like this. Lv Jiaping, a late CCP folk scholar in mainland China, discovered through research that not only Jiang Zemin's father was a traitor, Jiang himself was also a traitor.
According to historical data, Jiang Shijun, Jiang's biological father, joined the "Peace Salvation Congress" organized by the Japanese and puppet traitors in 1938. After the fall of Nanjing, he worked for the "Nanjing Temporary Maintenance Association" and worked for the Japanese invaders. In March 1940, the Wang puppet government set up a Propaganda Department under the "Executive Yuan" to strengthen the education of enslavement of the Chinese people and cover up the atrocities committed by the Japanese army. The chief writer of the newspaper "China Daily" and a general of Hu Lancheng, the most famous traitor writer at that time. Jiang Shijun's outstanding work in the Propaganda Department has been awarded by the Japanese Army Headquarters many times.
Relying on his father's relationship, Jiang Zemin transferred to Yangzhou Middle School, a "noble middle school" that he could not get into in 1941. The following year, Jiang entered the Electrical Engineering Department of Nanjing Puppet Central University's Engineering College. At that time, Nanjing Central University was the highest institution of the pseudo-central government for the Japanese army to train high-level traitors and implement imperial education. In its "Alumni Address Book", the words "fighting and fighting forever, reciting strings are worship" are the words " Lay down your arms forever, and sing the praises of the emperor's paradise" is the school song in praise of the Japanese army.
In order not to allow the universities run by the Japanese army to train anti-Japanese elements, Ding Mocun, the spy chief of the Japanese invaders, established a training course for young cadres in the Puppet Central University. He selected from the children of senior officials of the Puppet Government and trained them as spies to monitor students. Jiang Zemin participated in the fourth spy training class, and the photo of his training class was published in a book published after 1949 that exposed the crimes committed by Wang Puppet No. 76 traitor spy.
In addition, when the Soviet army raided the Northeast in 1945, it obtained all the special agent system files of the Japanese Army Kenji Doihara, including the text and photo files of the youth cadre training class that Jiang Zemin had trained.

Jiang was developed into a spy of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union during his internship in the Soviet Union
.
When the obituary stated Jiang's life history, it mentioned that he was transferred to Changchun No. 1 Automobile Factory in 1954, went to Moscow Stalin Automobile Factory in 1955 for an internship, and returned to China in 1956.
But what the obituary did not tell the Chinese people was that when Jiang was an intern in the Soviet Union, the Soviet intelligence agency checked Jiang's files and discovered Jiang's history as a traitor. In May 1991, when Jiang visited the Soviet Union as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and visited the Ligachev Automobile Factory, the KGB specially arranged for Jiang to "coincidence" with Krava, the Soviet pornographic spy who made Jiang fall under her skirt. In order to cover up this dark history, Jiang signed a secret traitorous treaty with the Soviet Union.

CCP covers up Jiang's crimes in the "June 4th" student movement
The obituary said that during the "serious political turmoil" at the turn of spring and summer in 1989, Jiang Zemin "supported and implemented the correct decision of the Party Central Committee to oppose turmoil with a clear-cut stand, defend the socialist state power, and safeguard the fundamental interests of the people... effectively maintaining the stability of Shanghai" . His suppression in Shanghai was favored by Deng Xiaoping, who succeeded Zhao Ziyang as the new general secretary of the Communist Party of China.
However, according to the content disclosed in "Li Peng's June 4th Diary": Deng Xiaoping had already decided to let Zhao Ziyang step down; after Deng mobilized 200,000 troops into Beijing, he held an enlarged meeting of the Politburo to announce that Zhao would step down and Jiang Zemin would be the general secretary. Ordered the June 4 massacre of the city. Deng also approved the clearing plan for the night of June 3, while Jiang "was on the fourth floor of the security building, and he could directly see the movement of Tiananmen Square from the window." It was Jiang who was responsible for drafting the "Message to the People of the Country".
That is to say, it was Deng Xiaoping who ordered the shooting and suppression of the students on "June 4th", while Jiang Zemin was the on-site commander and the biggest beneficiary of the "June 4th" massacre.

Jiang was warned by Deng when he sang against Deng after he came to power
The obituary stated that Jiang was "the core of the party's third-generation central leadership." At the "major historical juncture" when the "June 4th" suppression of the student movement faced international sanctions, Jiang "unswervingly insisted on economic construction as the center, insisted on Reform and opening up, ... opened up a new situation in our country's reform, opening up and socialist modernization."
However, the truth of history is that Jiang Zemin, who climbed to a high position on the basis of "June 4th", did not understand Deng Xiaoping's idea of reforming and opening up, invigorating the market, and starting with the economy to compete with the United States. Deng's political energy Jiang yelled out the "famous saying" that "let private entrepreneurs and self-employed people go bankrupt" and said that they should "nip all unstable factors in the bud."
Deng regretted Jiang's performance, so in 1991 he promoted Zhu Rongji, then Mayor of Shanghai, to Vice Premier of the State Council, in charge of the economy, and even reactivated Zhao Ziyang's staff. However, the drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the disintegration of the Soviet Union at the end of the year severely impacted and hit the CCP. In his speech on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, Jiang abandoned Deng's line of "centering on economic construction", vigorously advocated "centering on anti-peaceful evolution", tightened ideological control, and pointed the finger of criticism at Zhu Rongji and Zhu supporter Deng Xiaoping.
The short-sighted Jiang's continued turning to the left angered Deng Xiaoping. Deng, who was firmly in control of the army, began to fight back. The Southern Tour speech expressed dissatisfaction with Jiang and warned Jiang that "whoever does not reform will step down." At first, Jiang, who was angry, did not express his position immediately, but after seeing the military's support for Deng, he had no choice but to accept Deng's open policy, and the tone of opposition to the "bourgeois reform concept" began to decrease. Because Zhao Ziyang refused to admit his mistakes in the "June 4th" incident, he was unable to come back. Although Deng did not like Jiang, he did not replace him in the end. After Deng's death, Jiang brought China further into the abyss.

The corruption and lewdness of Jiang's administration and the scandal that Jiang's family is a huge corruption scandal
The obituary gave a very high evaluation of Jiang's political achievements during his tenure as General Secretary and Chairman of the Military Commission, but ignored and did not mention at all that it was from Jiang's era that the CCP officially started the "corrupt officials governing the country" model.
In Jiang's view, "ruling the country with corrupt officials" is not a bad thing. One must have some reason to ask others to be loyal to him. Because Jiang has no wisdom and has not been elected, if all officials are appointed with integrity, it will highlight his incompetence and corruption. The biggest advantage of corrupt officials is that the public is very angry. In terms of reputation, it is impossible for them to pose a threat to Jiang. So, along Jiang's journey, all the people he promoted were those who were good at flattery, and all of these people were masters of corruption and licentiousness.
Among the hundreds of high-ranking officials Xi Jinping took down after he came to power, there are all over the party, government and army, such as Xu Caihou, Guo Boxiong, Gu Junshan, Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai, Sun Zhengcai, etc., which one does not have many mistresses? Which one is not calculated in billions, or even tens of billions or hundreds of billions?
However, these senior officials still have to bow down to the Jiang family. Because Jiang's family is known as "the world's most greedy", Jiang Zemin's two sons, Jiang Mianheng and Jiang Miankang, relied on Jiang's power to engage in power-for-money transactions in a muffled voice, and gained immeasurable wealth. It was reported that their wealth was 5,000 billions of dollars.
The level of Jiang's licentiousness also surprised the world. His list of mistresses includes Soviet spy, former Minister of Education Chen Zhili, former Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee Huang Liman, CCTV broadcaster Li Ruiying, singer Song Zuying, etc. Among them, Song Zuying is the most domineering, and her status as the "Mother of the Nation" has long been a joke of Chinese people after dinner.

Jiang is the "biggest traitor of our time"
The obituary did not mention Jiang Zemin's history of betraying the country. As we all know, the Sino-Russian border disputes have continued for nearly a century, and wars even broke out in the 1960s. For the border territorial dispute between the two sides, China and Russia have been shelved unresolved. In order to cover up his history as a Soviet spy, in December 1999, Jiang Zemin and visiting Russian President Yeltsin signed the "Protocol on the Narrative Protocol between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Russian Federation on the East and West Sections of the Sino-Russian Boundary" in Beijing.
This is an outright traitorous treaty. In the "Protocol", Jiang sold more than 1 million square kilometres of China's precious territory, equivalent to the combined area of the three northeastern provinces, and also equivalent to dozens of Taiwan; The river estuary was assigned to Russia, which blocked the estuary from northeast China to the Sea of Japan. It is said that even Chi Haotian, the Minister of National Defense at the time, did not know the details, and the party media did not dare to report in detail.
For this reason, Jiang was called "the biggest traitor of our time." At that time, "Sino-Russian border" was once a banned keyword in forums on many official websites. In 2002, Litovkin, a military commentator of the Russian News Agency, disclosed another piece of old news that surprised the Chinese people: In addition to selling the country, in 1992, in order to curry favour with Russia, Jiang ordered the Chinese border guards to withdraw, 500 km is undefended, while the undefended zones of Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan are only 100 kilometers wide.
Jiang Zemin's series of traitorous acts have been deliberately concealed by the CCP to this day. It can only be said that such a traitor has climbed to the high position of the CCP leader, which can only be said to be a great shame to the Chinese people.

CCP covers up Jiang's heinous crimes of persecuting Falun Gong and even harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners
The biggest crime Jiang committed during his tenure was the persecution of Falun Gong. In July 1999, the jealous Jiang Zemin and the CCP launched a campaign to suppress Falun Gong, and implemented a policy of "defaming their reputation, ruining their finances, and exterminating them physically" against Falun Gong practitioners, supplemented by burning and destroying Falun Gong books. Later, they concocted the "Tiananmen Self-immolation False Case", brainwashed the public, and even ordered live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners. The CCP’s developed organ transplant industry started at that time, and it has not stopped until now, and the victims have spread to ordinary Chinese.
So far, according to data from Minghui.com, the total number of Falun Gong practitioners who have been persecuted to death and whose names have been confirmed has reached 4,828, and hundreds of thousands of them have been detained in detention centers, labor camps, and prisons. This unprecedented persecution has also brought unprecedented disasters to the Chinese nation.
However, as Falun Gong practitioners persevered and clarified the truth in various ways, more and more people saw the true face of the CCP, learned about Falun Gong, learned the truth about the Tiananmen self-immolation, and finally chose to quit the CCP. Falun Gong practitioners also sued Jiang Zemin and other senior CCP officials who persecuted Falun Gong around the world. All these made Jiang and his accomplices live in fear every day during and after he left office. , that is, the fear of being liquidated.

The truth about Jiang's so-called "high integrity" is hidden
The obituary stated that before the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Jiang voluntarily proposed to no longer hold the leadership position of the Central Committee and stepped down from the Central Committee. chairman. During this period, he supported Hu Jintao's work. In 2004, he voluntarily resigned as chairman of the Military Commission. After leaving office, he continued to support the work of Hu et al.
However, the truth is that Jiang is afraid of being liquidated, so he is greedy for power. After taking the initiative to retreat and messing things up, in November 2002, at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Zhang Wannian, a senior military officer, was instructed to make a sudden motion to continue to control the power of the army with a gun. Hu Jintao is only the vice chairman of the Military Commission.
Jiang also set several rules for the nine members of the Standing Committee, the most important of which was that the Politburo Standing Committee composed of nine members was a collective leader without a core; Jiang made the decision. In this way, even if Jiang steps down, Hu Jintao will not be able to hold power.
After the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Jiang, who even stepped down as the chairman of the Military Commission, still tried every means to retain power. He not only kept his own office in the Military Commission building, but also used his cronies in the Standing Committee of the Politburo to keep Hu and Wen out of Zhongnanhai. ” Jiang still enjoys the happiness brought by power, and his ranking is still behind Hu. Where is Jiang's "high integrity" reflected?

Xi Jinping on the CCP's road of no return after compromising with Jiang
After Xi Jinping came to power and gradually weakened the power of the Jiang faction, the Jiang faction continued to launch high-profile provocations in order not to be liquidated, which attracted Xi's heavy hand attack and even humiliation but in the end, in order to keep his power and protect the CCP, Xi chose to compromise with Jiang's faction, thus making himself further and further down the road of no return.
At this time, the CCP authorities, facing one after another of public protests, cover up so many scandals and crimes of Jiang Zemin, probably because they are afraid that the public will know and trigger more protests, making it another corrupt catalyst for the CCP’s downfall. Xi’s central government chose and affirmed Jiang positively but instead of using this to settle his crimes, he once again chose the wrong direction for his own future. As for the dead Jiang, although the coffin was built, it has not yet been determined. History will have a real judgment and conclusion on him.

On Jiang Zemin's death, Falun Gong human rights lawyers issue a five-point statement
After the death of Jiang Zemin, the Taiwan Falun Gong Human Rights Lawyers Group issued a five-point official statement on the death of Jiang Zemin, the culprit of the persecution of Falun Gong.
The five-point statement of the Falun Gong Human Rights Lawyers Group includes:
1. We demand that the current leaders of the Chinese Communist Party immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong, release all Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally detained in mainland China, and pursue legal responsibility for those who persecute Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin, who initiated the suppression and planned and executed it, has died. If the current leader continues the policy of persecuting Falun Gong, he will eventually bear the legal responsibility of the leader who suppressed Falun Gong.
2. We call on all people at home and abroad who follow Jiang Zemin to directly or indirectly participate in the persecution of Falun Gong to immediately abandon their secrets and turn to the open. Take the initiative to stop arresting Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China; stop slandering and threatening Falun Gong practitioners overseas, and prepare all the CCP documents and related evidence of the persecution of Falun Gong, and make up for the responsibility for the persecution of Falun Gong in the future.
3. All CCP personnel and medical staff involved in the live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners should immediately stop the atrocities, and prepare all the CCP documents and relevant evidence that ordered, planned, and executed the live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.
4. Falun Gong practitioners and lawyers will continue to pursue legal responsibility for leaders and individuals who do not give up the persecution of Falun Gong and live organ harvesting.
5. In the past 20 years, Jiang Zemin has been accused of committing crimes against humanity, genocide and torture against Falun Gong practitioners in 18 countries around the world. Nearly 4 million people in 37 countries have reported crimes against Falun Gong. Hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners sued Jiang Zemin with their real names but in the end, Jiang Zemin did not survive the historic trial. This is a great regret to all Falun Gong practitioners, especially the persecuted practitioners and their families. It is also a pity for the whole of China but Jiang Zemin's unspeakable crimes of persecuting hundreds of millions of Falun Gong practitioners will be remembered in history, and it is a warning that human beings will never repeat the same mistakes.

Expert: Jiang Zemin's two major political legacies will lead to social consequences and lead China to the abyss
Reporters : Han Fei, Luo Ya / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/12/01/a103587973.html
Protests broke out across China, and Jiang Zemin was declared dead at this moment. What is left of his sinful life? Come and listen to expert analysis. Former CCP leader Jiang Zemin was officially declared dead on the 30th.
Zhang Tianliang, a scholar of history and culture and an expert on China issues: "If we sum up Jiang Zemin's life, he has two major political legacies. The first is the corruption of the country, and the second is the suppression of Falun Gong."
Scholar Zhang Tianliang pointed out that after June 4th in 1989, the Communist Party's ideology was completely bankrupt, and Jiang Zemin began to use corruption to buy the entire party centre, leading to the current situation where there are no officials and no corruption in the officialdom.
When ordering the suppression of Falun Gong, Zhang Tianliang pointed out that this not only destroyed the normal belief system of the Chinese people, causing a sharp decline in morality, but also destroyed all effective channels for complaints in China, broke the political structure of the various departments of the CCP, and had a negative impact on the entire Chinese society to an indelible destructive effect.
Zhang Tianliang: "The persecution of Falun Gong may not be that sensitive to many people's lives. Of course, Falun Gong practitioners and their families are deeply hurt but in fact, we need to know that many problems in China today have something to do with the corruption of people’s hearts.”
Mr. Wang, an intellectual in the mainland system: "The illegal persecution has opened a very bad example, a bad example of undermining China's judicial erosion."
Chen Yonglin, a former diplomat at the Chinese Consulate in Sydney: "In the past, many people felt that they had nothing to do with them, so they let the CCP's propaganda slander them, and then they were indifferent to the persecution of Falun Gong. Many people thought this way before, but now it's their turn. They have now begun to think, and began to call out the righteous voice of the Communist Party’s resignation.”
Mainland human rights lawyer Hua Ming (pseudonym): "The sufferings they endured because of Falun Gong's beliefs and ideology are not only the sufferings suffered by their group, but also a part of the entire Chinese nation and Chinese people. This kind of suffering is that there are no independent civil organizations among the people, and there is not enough legal system to protect human rights and restrict various organizations, especially power organizations, from doing evil. The people may encounter the heavy pressure of this power machine anytime and anywhere. .”
In addition, some experts put forward different views on the rapid development of China's economy in Jiang Zemin's era.
Current affairs commentator Wang He: "The market economy has a good market economy and a bad market economy. A good market economy can compete freely and operate according to a good set of rules. So what is the bad market economy? It is the rich and powerful. , to control resources, to distort the market. So what is Jiang Zemin doing? He happened to develop that bad market economy, and established such a powerful economy.”
Wang He pointed out that this kind of development itself did not benefit the common people, nor did it lead to healthy development of the society, but because of the inherent inequality, predatory and monopolistic nature of this system, the entire Chinese economy was divided between the two. Unsustainable after a high-speed outbreak.
Wang He: "Jiang Zemin's second-generation officials, what kind of officials, dignitaries, and second-generation reds are those who have vested interests in society. Realizing their rights is a large-scale plunder and extraction in the economy. .”
People in the Chinese system pointed out that Jiang Zemin ordered the organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners, which opened the devil's magic box. However, what Jiang Zemin did will not end with death, and will eventually be liquidated.
Mr. Wang, an intellectual in the mainland system: "Catching those who believe in groups means harvesting organs from living people. Now this magic box has been opened. Now many college students have disappeared inexplicably, and the government does not track them down. Now that I think about it, this society is so horrible, but he's the one who opened this devil's box."
If China can move on to the track of civilization, these people will be punished. In my opinion, it is too much for heaven not to settle accounts. "
The Epoch Times published an editorial saying that a large number of evildoers who persecuted Falun Gong have already received retribution. The death of Jiang Zemin is accelerating the disintegration of the CCP. Call on the Xi Jinping authorities to immediately stop the persecution, release all detained Falun Gong practitioners, and hold the persecutors accountable. I hope that more Chinese people will see the CCP clearly, withdraw from the CCP, and choose a better future for themselves amidst the great changes in history.

WOIPFG: Continue to investigate Jiang Zemin's crimes and will not stop
Editor : Li Hong / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/12/01/a103588113.html / Image : The picture shows that on April 23, 2017, some Falun Gong practitioners in New York held a rally in Flushing to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the "4.25" peaceful appeal. Wang Zhiyuan, chairman of the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, said on Wednesday (30 November) that the investigation of the crimes committed by Jiang Zemin will continue and will not end with his death. The CCP officially announced on November 30 that Jiang Zemin, the former leader of the CCP, died in Shanghai on the 30th.
Wang Zhiyuan said in an interview with The Epoch Times, "Jiang Zemin is dead, but his crimes have destructively damaged the moral bottom line of the Chinese people and the entire human race, especially the policy of genocide against Falun Gong practitioners. Live organ harvesting is an unprecedented event in human history, unprecedented evil.
"We will thoroughly and comprehensively investigate to the end. Human beings will have the largest, most severe, and most thorough trial of Jiang Zemin's crimes in history, and we will never let it end like this."
According to WOIPFG's records, since 20 July 1999, the CCP headed by Jiang Zemin has manipulated the entire state apparatus to carry out genocide persecution of hundreds of millions of Falun Gong practitioners for 23 years, and it is still going on today.
WOIPFG’s announcement stated that during the persecution, the CCP carried out forced brainwashing and transformation on the one hand to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Dafa. Otherwise, they carried out various tortures, violent transformations, and even murders on Falun Gong practitioners, especially the live harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners. The massacre of organs is "a crime that has never been seen on this planet"; on the other hand, the CCP fabricated lies to demonize and propagate, inciting hatred against Falun Gong throughout the country and even the world. At the same time, they are using various means to force the international community to remain silent on the persecution in an attempt to destroy the moral conscience of mankind and lead mankind to destruction.
Wang Zhiyuan said that Jiang Zemin's crimes are concentrated in two aspects, one is the corrupt governance of the country, and the other is the persecution of Falun Gong.
He said that Jiang Zemin used administrative orders to persecute Falun Gong, and the "610 Office" authorized to be established is above the law and government departments, and manipulates the entire state apparatus to suppress Falun Gong.
"There is no law, and the second is not to make it public. It is all done in a black box." Wang Zhiyuan told The Epoch Times.
"The CCP has never talked about the law in its persecution of Falun Gong, nor has it presented any normal laws. According to the CCP's own laws and constitution, and the natural human rights recognized by the whole world, they are even more illegal."
As to why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong, Wang Zhiyuan replied, "The CCP fears the people and justice, because Falun Gong practice emphasizes 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance', while the CCP relies on lies, 'False, Evil, and Fighting', the two are incompatible Tolerance, because there are too many good people to do bad things.”
On 21 May 2004, WOIPFG issued a circular, "Tracking down Jiang Zemin, the Chief Criminal of the Crimes of Genocide, Torture, and Against Humanity."
The notice mentions that Falun Gong practitioners sued Jiang Zemin in the Supreme Court in Beijing on 29 August 2000, accusing Jiang of seriously trampling on the Constitution and should be investigated for legal and criminal responsibility; In October 2002, Jiang Zemin was charged with genocide, torture and crimes against humanity in the United States. Since then, Falun Gong practitioners have successively filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin in Switzerland, Belgium, Australia, Spain, Germany, Taiwan, South Korea, the International Court of Justice in The Hague, and the United Nations.
Since May 2015, more than 210,000 Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China and overseas have mailed criminal complaints to the Beijing Supreme Court and Supreme Procuratorate in their real names, accusing Jiang Zemin of the crimes of persecution.
As of June 2021, WOIPFG has published 730 audio recordings related to the CCP's live organ harvesting. Among them, 58 are direct evidences involving live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners, including evidence collected from telephone recordings of 5 members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, as well as: Vice Chairman of the Military Commission, Minister of National Defense, Minister of Health of the General Logistics Department of the military, and Political and Legal Affairs Committee , "610", the court, witnesses at the live harvesting site, 45 presidents, directors, and doctors of 41 organ transplant hospitals across the country recorded and collected evidence.
Wang Zhiyuan said in a speech in July that the CCP used the organ harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners for transplantation as capital to establish the organ transplant industry and create a bloody economic chain, which has developed into a huge business that is more profitable than drug trafficking and arms trafficking industry.
"Driven by huge profits, the demand for organs in the transplant market is getting bigger and bigger. When the organs of Falun Gong practitioners can't satisfy their infinitely magnified greed, the black hand of live organ harvesting reaches out to ordinary people in society." He especially mentioned.
The purpose of WOIPFG is: No matter the ends of the earth, no matter how long or short the time is, we will definitely investigate to the end, follow the principles of heaven, restore justice, and uphold justice in the world.

Jiang Zemin is dead, Twitter users comment: He is a criminal against humanity

Jiang Zemin, the former leader of the Communist Party of China, has died. During his time in power, the CCP’s officialdom was rampant with corruption, the gap between the rich and the poor continued to widen, and Falun Gong and dissidents were persecuted, and group petitions continued. After his death, netizens heatedly discussed him, pointing out that he was a criminal against humanity.
As we all know, Jiang Zemin climbed to the high position of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission in 1989 on the blood of the "June 4th" students. After he came to power, he had no political capital. In order to establish his own power in the army, he indulged the army to do business and indulge the army's corruption and promiscuity in order to buy people's hearts.
During the 13 years when Jiang Zemin served as the general secretary of the CCP and the two years when he remained as the chairman of the Military Commission through a coup, under the connivance and protection of Jiang's "humility and riches", officials at all levels of the CCP were allowed to become corrupt and crazily amassing money from top to bottom. , Jiang is known as the head coach of corruption among CCP officials.
At the same time, after Jiang Zemin used power to replace the law and launched the persecution of Falun Gong, in order to bribe officials to work for him, he even encouraged corruption and promiscuity, which caused a sharp decline in Chinese morality, corrupted social atmosphere, and the spread of official corruption and prostitution.
Jiang Zemin not only bears the crime of persecuting "June 4th", but also charges him with "crime against humanity", "genocide" and "crime of torture" for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He must be indicted in the case.
After the news of Jiang Zemin's death was released, it quickly sparked heated discussions on Twitter.
Han Lianchao, who once worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China, tweeted, "Jiang Zemin is finally dead. Some people think he is good compared to Xi Jinping. I have carefully studied Jiang's people and policies, and I think he is not a good person, he is evil and corrupt. Vulgar and pretentious, he is the instigator of the current CCP’s surveillance of the whole society, especially the bloody and brutal persecution of Falun Gong and other religions, he is a criminal who committed crimes against humanity.”
Another Twitter user said:
"Vaporization of living people is mostly due to successful matching, and their organs are taken. This is the biggest crime during the Jiang Zemin period-living organ harvesting, from death row prisoners, popularized to Falun Gong, formed an industrial chain, and finally expanded to college students, ordinary people, children, It continues to this day. This crime is a crime against humanity."
"The military's large-scale live organ harvesting is the initiator. Although the evil CCP was harvesting organs from executed prisoners in 1975, the number is incomparable to that of Toad (Jiang Zemin), who sent millions of Falun Gong practitioners to labor camps and prisons for live harvesting. organ……"
"The maintenance of stability began in the Jiang Zemin era, and the wall was built since then. He persecuted religious figures and dissidents, banned many books and movies and TV dramas. Many pregnant women were arrested for abortion, and many innocent people were detained in shelters. and labor reform farms, where hundreds of millions of farmers suffer from serious and systematic discrimination..."
"The dictator who drank 64 blood and imprisoned good people like Zhao Ziyang to death. His cold blood and viciousness are all behind his hypocrisy. In my opinion, he has also gone to hell."
"Only relying on the organ harvesting from living beings, they will also be exhumed and flogged in the future."
"Jiang's achievements in his life: Encouraging corruption and bringing incompetent scum to power, stigmatizing Falun Gong, strengthening the construction of the firewall in order to prevent people from knowing the truth, and then using imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners to invent the forced organ harvesting business."
"Jiang Zemin has done countless evils, sold China's 1.5 million square kilometers of territory, intensified the one-child policy, and made China subjugate and exterminate the country. The vicious corruption in the whole of China was started by Jiang Zemin! It was he who started the corruption of the whole society and ruled the country! Even you can even buy a death certificate! Jiang Zemin’s crimes are heinous..."
"A lot of people in the Wall Kingdom are celebrating, setting off firecrackers, giving out red envelopes, and playing songs for good days. Some people are looking forward to more such good days..."
Chinese human rights lawyer Chen Jiangang said on Twitter, "During Jiang Zemin's administration, family planning was only a crime. At least tens of millions of babies, fetuses, and pregnant women were killed. Countless families were persecuted, pregnant women were forced to abort, and family members were imprisoned." They were arrested and their property was looted.” “Jiang Zemin is dead. As far as I know about the cases, countless people died because of his persecution of Falun Gong. Countless families were persecuted by him until their wives were separated and their families were destroyed. situation."
The Epoch Times [Feature] "Jiang Zemin Is Dead" wrote: Jiang Zemin's life was a shameful one. Jiang Zemin's administration has brought disaster to the country and the people. Corruption is rampant. The persecution of Falun Gong has created eternal injustices and committed heinous crimes against the Chinese people, the Chinese nation and the world. Jiang Zemin is a sinner of the nation and history, and his crimes must be judged and liquidated by history.
Jiang Zemin directly spread the lies to the whole world, and directly exported the persecution to the whole world. The CCP uses the Chinese market and economy held hostage to coerce the governments, financial groups, and media of various countries to keep people silent about this horrific and largest human rights violation and the crime of mass organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. This is a fundamental corruption of the value of human civilization.
Jiang Zemin is dead, but his crimes cannot be erased. The trial of Jiang Zemin's crimes by the International Court of Justice is still going on.

Jiang Zemin scolding Hong Kong female journalist in English became a classic joke
Image : On 27 October 2000, Jiang Zemin "smeared scum" to a Hong Kong female reporter and scolded the reporter for "broken pictures", which led to a "group fight" by the Hong Kong media. (Video screenshot)
Jiang Zemin, the former leader of the Communist Party of China, died a few days ago, and many of his scandals have once again been hyped up on the Internet. Jiang Zemin once called a Hong Kong female reporter "scumbag" and scolded the reporter in English, "tuyang tusenpo (too young too simple)", which became a classic joke.

Hong Kong female reporter angered Jiang Zemin with one sentence
On 27 October 2000, Hong Kong Chief Executive Tung Chee-hwa, who was visiting Beijing, met with Jiang Zemin in Zhongnanhai. The two sides were interviewed by Hong Kong reporters present before the official talk.
At that time, Hong Kong female reporter Zhang Minghua kept asking sensitive questions about the "Central Chief Executive". Jiang Zemin was furious and scolded Zhang Minghua in English on the spot, "too young, too simple,...sometimes naive. (Too young, naive)." It lasted as long as 4 minutes.
Jiang Zemin said that he did not appoint Tung Chee-hwa for re-election, but he definitely supported Tung.
A Hong Kong female reporter asked, can you tell me why you support Tung Chee-hwa?
Jiang Zemin said, "There is a saying in China called 'keep your voice down and make a fortune', and I like this saying." He was implying that Hong Kong journalists should learn to be smart, not to ask random questions, but to learn to "make a fortune by keeping your voice down."
He also threatened the Hong Kong media reporters present: "If there are deviations in your reports in the future, you will be responsible."
Jiang Zemin repeatedly denied the imperial appointment of Tung Chee-hwa but emphasized his support for him. He also said that Tung's re-election is in accordance with Hong Kong law but Beijing's decision-making power is also very important, because Hong Kong belongs to the CCP government. Jiang's remarks were accused of implying that the decision on the candidate for the chief executive of Hong Kong rests with Beijing.
In the end, Jiang angrily said to the reporters, "Don't try to make a big news, saying that it has been 'imperial' now, and criticize me. You are 'naive!' (childish!) 'I am angry!' (I'm angry)." (Click to watch video)
The Hong Kong media was shocked by the scene of Jiang Zemin throwing a tantrum and making ugly appearances in public. The next day, the Hong Kong media condemned Jiang Zemin in unprecedented unison. Jiang Zemin "fat rotten scum" (Cantonese: the meaning of being mad and salai), "guilt and arrogance".
And Jiang Zemin's "tuyang tusenpo" (too young, too simple) and "shangtai na yifu (get clothes on stage)" (transliterated "sometimes naive") have also become another classic joke of Jiang.
Some teachers who teach English said that Jiang Zemin’s English became a laughing stock because he thought he was proficient in English. In fact, he was half-familiar with English. He is a joker.
It is reported that in the international arena, very few national leaders have had the opportunity to record such true emotional expressions by the media. This classic question and answer, coupled with Jiang Zemin's growling facial expression and gestures of barking teeth and claws, once again shocked the world.

Hong Kong female reporter: If I were to ask the question again, I will still ask it that way.
Hong Kong female reporter Zhang Minghua (Sharon Cheung in English), formerly known as Zhang Baohua, who was scolded by Jiang Zemin, is a Shanghai native born in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Department of Journalism and Communication of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1995 and joined the cable news department in 1998. She is responsible for reporting cross-strait political news.
Zhang Minghua has also served as the current affairs program of Radio Television Hong Kong, the anchor of Now Financial Channel, and the host of the program "Big Sing, Da Fang", mainly interviewing celebrities. In 2019, Zhang Minghua, who quit the press, served as the CEO of a public relations company.
Zhang Minghua became famous for being reprimanded by Jiang Zemin. In February 2019, she published a new book "The Godfather of Death", and she mentioned the situation at that time again in an interview with the media. She said, "I think that questioning method is the best, because it is the most clear, fair and short, and there will be no misunderstanding. If I ask it again, I will still ask it that way."

"It's a pity it's not you..." Jiang Zemin passed away, but he was banned from commenting for 365 days
At 4.32 pm on 30 November, China’s Xinhua News Agency announced the death of Jiang Zemin, the 96-year-old former General Secretary of the Communist Party of China. The homepages of major Chinese official media and portal websites were changed to black and white, and there were mixed reactions from the outside world; Netizens also quoted singer Liang Jingru's well-known song "Unfortunately It's Not You". Unfortunately, this time, China's network management department seems to have prepared for it, and a person left messages under the song's website, but he was banned for 365 days.
The last time "It's a pity it's not you" attracted a lot of comments was when Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was assassinated on 8 July 2022. Many Chinese netizens used this message to imply that "it's a pity it's not" Chinese leader Xi Jinping, and even had the song taken off the shelves at one point .
Today, another wave of comments appeared under the video "Unfortunately It's Not You" of Rolling Stone Records on YouTube, almost all of which are in simplified Chinese, "The old man is gone today, let's listen to this song again", "You know why you listen to this song today" , "I came back to listen to this song again, just like the one four months ago, it sang to my heart."
The Twitter account "Ms. Li is not your teacher" has recently reposted a large number of "blank paper revolution" messages in China and around the world, and it has become popular. In the evening of November 30, it also reposted "Netease Cloud Music" that someone went to China, under the song "Unfortunately Not You" Leave a message, was banned for 365 days. Another netizen added that the "Netease Cloud Music" platform can no longer search for "unfortunately not you", and input the first four characters of "unfortunately not", only "unfortunately not", "unfortunately not for me", "unfortunately not for her", nothing "It's a pity it's not you", and there is no "it's a pity it's not him".

Bursting with black humour! Netizens laughed when he commented on the Chinese protests in two words
Image : China's blank paper revolution has blossomed everywhere, and even spread overseas. (Reuters)
China's "blank paper revolution" (also A4 Revolution) is blooming everywhere and attracting attention from all walks of life. From the relevant images exposed on the Internet, we can see that some protesters laughed at themselves about the sadness of the Chinese people during the protest process. Taiwanese graphic artist Xiao Yingdeng also commented on this wave of protests in two words, showing black humor and triggering discussions .
In the recent protests across China, protesters who shouted "Xi Jinping step down" were arrested. In the evening of the 27th, the protesters who took place on the banks of the Liangma River in Beijing simply "followed the party's will" and changed their shouts to " Continue to block and suspend everything, shut down all", "I want to do nucleic acid, I want to be banned", "Long live the Communist Party, I want to enter the square cabin", etc., mocking the sad situation of Chinese people being treated as "leeks", related videos went viral on the Internet.
Xiao Yingdeng also used the word "cheap" on Facebook on Wednesday to comment on the blank paper revolution that is taking place in China. Student Movement is NT$30, an umbrella (2014 Hong Kong Umbrella Revolution) is NT$150, and an A4 white paper is only NT$0.80 cents." A black humorous speech made people smile knowingly.
In addition, the Chinese YouTuber "California Jiang Taigong", who is currently residing overseas, sighed on his personal channel: "History from 54 (May 4th Movement in 1919), to 64 (June 4th Tiananmen Incident in 1989), to A4...", triggering enthusiastic response.

University holidays, tanks on the streets, the CCP’s fake unblocking and real suppression?
Reporter : Ruili / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/12/01/a103587796.html
On 30 November, Guangzhou suddenly announced the unblocking, and the number of new infections in Guangzhou that day was the first in the country. It is difficult to unblock at this time and understand the authorities' intentions.
On 29 November, the anti-blockade protests in China entered the fifth day, and people in many places continued to protest on the streets.
In Guangzhou, Haizhu District, one of the most severely blocked areas, mass protests broke out again late on Tuesday night. The authorities dispatched a large number of police forces to suppress the crowd, used tear gas to disperse the crowd, and arrested many people.
Another video showed that many fences were pulled down and the ground was in a mess. Many residents threw glass bottles at the police, while the police threw tear gas canisters to disperse the crowd.
However, only a dozen hours later, the Haizhu District of Guangzhou suddenly announced the unblocking on the afternoon of the 30th, and then many districts followed up and announced the unblocking.
Loudspeaker: "According to the government's epidemic prevention and control notice, all social nucleic acid testing is suspended"
Residents of Guangzhou: "Unblock, unblock, unblock".
The sudden news made the local people feel unbelievable.
Videos uploaded by netizens showed that iron horses and fences were being demolished everywhere on the road. But it may be that the residents have not fully reacted to the sudden unblocking, and there are very few vehicles and pedestrians on the road.
At the same time, Zhengzhou also announced the unblocking on the same day. According to official media reports, from 0:00 on 30 November, citizens outside the high-risk areas can travel normally with a negative nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours. Followed by Chengdu, the government document stated that when entering and leaving the community, nucleic acid and site codes will no longer be checked.
A netizen commented on this: "The CCP has begun to learn to make concessions, and it is not far from disintegration."
Although many cities were unblocked at the same time, it seems that the CCP has made a "concession gesture" to the nationwide protests that broke out in the past few days, but "unblocking" does not mean "liberation".
After three days of silence, the CCP's official media finally began to respond to this so-called "blank paper revolution". Defining the resistance as "infiltration of hostile forces" requires resolute strikes. Experts point out that a new version of the June 4th crackdown has begun.
Independent commentator Tang Jingyuan: "This is actually an official license to suppress."
On the one hand, the CCP is intensively conducting secret interviews and arresting protesters, deploying a large number of police forces in public places, and strengthening Internet censorship.
On the other hand, strictly control college students. A number of Chinese universities, led by Tsinghua University, have allowed students to take vacations early and return home from Tuesday to prevent students from continuing to participate in the "white paper movement" protests at school, and opened an unprecedented 71-day long winter vacation.
Tsinghua University even specially sent text messages to remind students to refuse interviews by foreign media on the way back to their hometowns.
In other provinces and cities, including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, South China Agricultural University and many other colleges and universities, they have also issued notices for winter vacation in advance. These universities have basically arranged to switch the remaining courses of this semester to online teaching, and even the final exams will be taken online.
At the same time, tanks and armored vehicles gathered on the streets of many places in the mainland.
The outside world is worried that the CCP may arrest them in the next step. On 29 November, 50 overseas dissidents published an open letter, calling on the CCP military and police to keep a clear head, not to shoot down the protesters, and avoid a repeat of the tragedy of the June 4th massacre.
In Shanghai, the city where public protests broke out first, the authorities are still tightening control. Some local residents said that they have received threatening phone calls from the police, declaring that they should not post on the Internet or accept interviews with foreign reporters.
On 29 November, The Paper said the Office of the Shanghai Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Team decided to classify 26 districts in Shanghai as high-risk areas.
The Putuo District and Huangpu District of Shanghai issued two "Notices" in succession, requiring residents to stockpile anti-epidemic materials for no less than 60 days, and to fully restore the prevention and control mechanism during the epidemic defense war from now on.
Since the notice was issued after nationwide protests for unblocking erupted in various places, it has aroused various associations among the people, speculating that the authorities will combine the "white paper movement" with epidemic prevention measures to further control the people.
On the same day, the U.S. embassy and consulate in China also reminded the public to prepare food for 14 days as soon as possible. The consulates of the European Union and Germany in Shanghai reminded their citizens to prepare food for 21 days.

Expert: "White Paper Movement" vibrates Zhongnanhai, sensitive period before the Two Sessions
Editor : Li Ling / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/22/11/30/n13876019.htm
In the afternoon of 30 November 2022, Guangzhou Haizhu District issued a notice on relevant epidemic prevention and control measures, which proposed to do a good job in the isolation management of close contacts and isolation. Almost at the same time, Guangzhou Tianhe, Panyu, Liwan and other districts also successively issued notices to lift temporary control areas for epidemic prevention and control.
The joint defense and joint control mechanism of the State Council of the Communist Party of China held a press conference on 29 November, requiring all localities to "accurately determine risk areas" and achieve "seal and control management should be quickly closed and released, and should be released as much as possible to reduce the impact of the epidemic on the masses" and "inconvenience", "The reasonable demands of the masses must be responded to and resolved in a timely manner."
On 28 November, the CCP’s Xinhua News Agency issued three commentaries in a row, saying that “all localities and departments should be more patient to ease the emotions of the masses” and “proactively respond to social concerns in a timely manner.” However, it still reiterated that it must “unswervingly” implement "dynamic clearing" general policy.
On 28 November, a Reuters reporter asked at a regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China: "Given that people are widely expressing disappointment and anger with (the zero-covid policy), is China considering ending it? If so, when will it end? ?” Zhao Lijian, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China, went through the documents for about a minute, and finally claimed that “the situation does not match the facts”, which caused ridicule from netizens.
Huang Shicong, an expert on China issues in Taiwan, told The Epoch Times on 30 November that this protest movement must have a shocking effect on Zhongnanhai, otherwise the National Health Commission would not have come out to hold a press conference immediately. Then in the past few days, Zhengzhou also said that it would unblock, and Urumqi also said that it would unblock.
However, Huang Shizong said that if the top leaders of the CCP only blamed the local governments for increasing the scale and the policy of zero-covid did not change, the next larger-scale movement may come. "It's still smoldering so far, and it hasn't exploded yet."
At the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a group of Xi Jinping’s cronies came to power, and Xi’s cronies Li Qiang is expected to succeed Li Keqiang as Premier. Many government-level personnel appointments will have to wait until the re-election of the two sessions in March next year.
Huang Shicong said that after the end of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, before the two sessions in March next year, the old people will leave and the new ones will not take office. The power of government control may be relatively weak, and the response efficiency will be relatively poor. For people to launch protest actions, there may be loopholes in the government's maintenance of stability.
At the executive meeting of the State Council on 23 November 2022, Premier Li Keqiang of the Communist Party of China only mentioned the economy and did not mention a word about epidemic prevention. The Epoch Times reporter discovered that this change occurred after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China when Li Keqiang resigned from the Politburo Standing Committee and other party positions.
Huang Shicong told The Epoch Times that Li Keqiang is more inclined to unblock, which is closer to the demands of the vast majority of the people, but it is Xi Jinping who can order to stop dynamic clearing. After Li Qiang becomes prime minister at the two sessions next year, there will be no voices in the central government not to listen to Xi, so the current timing is rather delicate.
News from the Shanghai telegram group said that the protesters called for maintaining their strength, and they may come out to carry out activities by the end of the weekend.
Huang Shicong said that the government is trying to prevent these students or migrant workers from connecting with each other. At present, initial results should be achieved, but to completely stop this movement, there must be relevant supporting measures for clearing and exiting, otherwise it will only be for the next generation. A campaign gives more fuel. "It may not be that big this time, but it will be bigger when it erupts next time."
Huang Shicong said that whether the CCP will give up covid eradication now depends on Xi Jinping's thoughts. From the current point of view, it is unlikely that the authorities will suddenly abandon the zero-covid policy, and it is afraid it will take some time. Before that, China's political and economic situation will be in an unstable state.

27-year-old protester's whereabouts unknown after arrest in Shanghai sparks concern

Protesters surnamed Wang were arrested after leading crowds shouting "Communist Party step down" and "Xi Jinping step down" during China's massive anti-blockade protests on Sunday (November 27) Since then, its whereabouts have been unknown, and people are increasingly concerned about its safety.
According to the British "Telegraph" (The Telegraph) report, the 27-year-old man surnamed Wang was last seen on the 27th when the police arrested him in a bar where he worked.
Neighbors told The Telegraph that police went into the bar where "Wang" worked, handcuffed him and put him in the back of a van, where he had not been heard from for three days.
His neighbours, a fruit seller's family on the outskirts of Shanghai, admitted they knew what Wang was shouting. Asked whether they agreed with Wang, the family's son behind the counter said nervously, "I don't know." His father smiled politely but declined to comment.
On the sidelines of the protests on Urumqi Middle Road in Shanghai, Wang gave an interview to The Economist, a British weekly news newspaper.
"We hope that our country is no longer a one-party state, and we want our basic human rights as citizens," Wang said. "I have been feeling a strong sense of powerlessness recently, that life is meaningless. This is a kind of Philosophical thinking, but the feeling is created by the Communist Party."
Wang's parents told The Telegraph that there were no documents related to their son's arrest.
A man who participated in a peaceful rally in Shanghai on the 27th revealed to Radio Free Asia (RFA) that his surname was Chen, and described what he saw during the protests on Urumqi Road in Shanghai.
The police took him away from the protest crowd indiscriminately. "They grabbed me and hung me upside down from my feet. I put my hands on the ground and there was blood on them and blood on my face," Chen told Radio Free Asia. "I thought: 'That's it, I can't get away.'"
Chen added that most of the arrests were women, and those arrested were bundled and stuffed into a bus. He also saw "about a dozen police officers" beat up a woman before hanging her upside down.
Chen said he managed to escape by jumping off the bus when police were not looking. He said he was still terrified that the police would find him. "I told a friend that I would check in with her every day to let her know I was ok, and if one day she didn't hear from me, she was going to tweet my profile."
In order to prevent the protests from expanding, the CCP deployed a large number of police forces in the city. The CAC has announced a new set of social media guidelines, which will take effect on December 15, targeting likes in addition to censoring comments and posts.
Under the new rules, Chinese social media sites verify the real identities of all users and rate them based on likes and comments, with users with low scores marked as "dishonest" and blacklisted.
A former censor and internet control expert who asked not to be named told the New York Times that if China wants to fully control online content, it needs to hire 10 times the current staff and develop smarter algorithms, which would be not a small expense.
Joseph Cheng, a retired professor of political science at City University of Hong Kong, told CNN that despite the best efforts of Chinese authorities to crack down on social media content, "as discontent continues to rage, it will be almost impossible to stop the spread of protests, and angry people can come up with all kinds of communication and way of expressing feelings".

British lawmakers are urging the prime minister to expel Chinese diplomats and take a tougher stance against China after China's brutal crackdown on protesters, including the beating of a BBC journalist.
On Tuesday (29 November), at a debate in the House of Commons on the arrest of BBC journalist and broader CCP policy, British Conservative MP and former business minister Rees-Mogg (Jacob Rees-Mogg, also translated as Li Siming) said that the government should expel Chinese diplomats. He even suggested that the Dalai Lama could be invited to visit the UK officially to show that the UK is not easy to bully.
In his speech, Rees-Mogg questioned the effect of summoning the Chinese ambassador and urged urgent measures that would affect Chinese business in the UK.
"Should we seek to expel diplomats and take tougher action in international forums involving China's (Communist) interests," Rees-Mogg said, "doing things that China (Communist Party) does not want us to do, such as improving Our relationship with Taiwan, or inviting the Dalai Lama for an official visit, to show that we are not a softie, that we will not support communist lackeys."
Conservative MP David Rutley responded: "This recent summons - these issues will be raised in a very powerful way. Of course, the safety of our citizens is absolutely key, and it is happening all over the world, including China. Same."
Several lawmakers have called for a tougher stance against China. Conservative MP Tim Loughton said, "We've made super many phone calls to the Chinese ambassador. If "vigorous pragmatism" makes sense, shouldn't there be clear consequences?"
When criticizing Prime Minister Sunak's foreign policy speech on the 28th, former Conservative Party leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith pointed out that the Chinese Communist Party has a series of bad behaviours. The former prime minister said that the Chinese Communist Party posed a "systemic threat". "How is it that our strongest policy statement now on our reputation and our relationship with China is that we want to be 'forcefully pragmatic'?"
Sir Smith wanted Sunak to explain how being "forcefully pragmatic" worried China a little.
Loughton also raised the same issue as Smith, noting that the UK has still not expelled the Chinese consulate in Manchester after a Hong Kong pro-democracy protester was attacked in Manchester. The UK should sanction the Chinese officials who brutally suppressed those brave protesters. "They just want to stand up for their rights in China and oppose the oppressive blockade."
"When will we get serious about China?" Loughton asked.
Sir Smith also slammed Sunak for using the phrase "forcefully pragmatic" when speaking to Channel 4 News.
"It's like a contradiction in terms. I'm not quite sure what we're going to get out of that," said Sir Smith. "If, on the one hand, you want to be tough on China, then if you want to be tough on them at the same time In business, they just see it as a weakness."
Sir Smith cited the CCP's crackdown on Uyghurs in Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong, as well as its crackdown on anti-zero-covid protesters.
"I don't know what else you need to show that they're a threat now," Smith added. He also pointed to the unfair treatment of BBC reporter Edward Lawrence when he reported on the protests in Shanghai.
