A Chinese company said it would never hire Dabai, triggering hot debate

中国一公司称永不录用大白 引发火爆议论

The CCP’s anti-epidemic measures have caused the Chinese people to endure the long-term suffering of “nucleic acid” and “closing the city.” Recently, a Chinese company said it would never hire Dabai, which sparked a lot of praise from netizens, but many comments were blocked by the CCP.

Recently, an unknown company in China stated on the Internet that "if the company can survive, it will never hire 2022 epidemic prevention personnel and volunteers in the future."

Unexpectedly, the above remarks of the company sparked heated discussions in the comment area. A netizen commented, "I am the same. Although it is a small company, it will never hire such people." This comment alone has thousands of netizens who like and support it. One netizen said, "[Like] [Like] [Like] When our company recruits in the future, as long as we see resumes that have worked as epidemic prevention personnel and volunteers in 2022, we can directly throw them into the trash can..."

A netizen said, "The building was sealed off a few days ago, and two Dabai (referring to the anti-epidemic personnel in white protective clothing) were smoking in the corridor without masks. Immediately, he called 110 to call the police, saying that the owner was hindering the fight against the epidemic. The owner suffered from retaliation against his family, so he swallowed his anger."

Another netizen said, "In the past, it was the medical staff who took part in the battle. Even if there were negative emotions, many factors could be digested by themselves. After all, they are professional. Now most of the unemployed have put on protective clothing through various channels. The eldest brother of my neighbor, single and 39 years old, has never worked since graduating from high school. He has been gnawing at the old man for 20 years. I don’t know which relative gave him the advice. Now he works as a data entry clerk in Xiaotingzi. 2400 a month/"

Some netizens commented, "Although the company advertises that it will never hire epidemic prevention personnel and volunteers in 2022, it is somewhat too strict, and the labour law may not support this view but in all fairness, we can understand the company's attitude. Yes, because after this year, the doubts and indignation in people's hearts have already been filled!"

Recently, as the CCP abandoned the zero-covid policy, "Dabai" in many areas began to lose their jobs. However, due to local financial overdrafts, their wages were not paid in time. "Dabai" also began to take to the streets to defend their rights and demand wages.

In this regard, some commentators believe that under the CCP’s extremely zero-covid epidemic prevention and control, Dabai group is also a victim of the CCP’s system. Therefore, when they are abandoned by the CCP, it is difficult to get people's sympathy.

Political commentator Zhou Xiaohui wrote an analysis on 9 December, "It is undeniable that many "Dabai" still have human nature but the existence of those "Dabai" who have no humanity left and the tragedies they have created directly make this group unpopular among the public." Therefore, when the CCP was killing the donkey, no one complained for them.

The CCP’s New Ten Measures caused new panic, and people struggle for canned yellow peaches because they can’t buy medicines

Reporter : Luo Tingting / Editor : Wen Hui / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/12/10/a103595037.htmlImage : Recently, with the liberalization of the CCP, the number of infected people has increased sharply, and people have no access to medicines. 中共新十条引发新恐慌 民众买不到药疯抢黄桃罐头

After the CCP released the new ten new rules for epidemic prevention to relax control, the number of infections increased sharply, and fever clinics were full. People panicked and hoarded antipyretics, cold medicines, etc., and many pharmacies were running out of stock. Recently, canned yellow peaches have also become the target of mad snatching. People hope that the homonym of canned yellow peaches will solve the disaster, and "peaches will overcome the epidemic".

Recently, the authorities suddenly changed their policy and relaxed the control of epidemic prevention. The Omicron virus spread rapidly in various places, and fever clinics were overwhelmed. The National Health Commission requires all localities to upgrade and transform the shelter hospitals into sub-designated hospitals according to the population size of the city, so that the shelters can have certain therapeutic functions.

Chen Kuide, executive chairman of the Princeton China Institute, told NTDTV that the effectiveness of CCP vaccines in preventing infection is very poor. Once the release is released, there will likely be a peak of the epidemic, causing some medical resources to be tense and social emotions to panic. unwilling to see.

At the same time, there was a rush to buy medicines across China, and pharmacies sold out antipyretics and cold medicines. Due to the shortage of medicines, canned yellow peaches have recently become a good anti-epidemic medicine. Some pharmacies have also put canned yellow peaches on the shelves. People in the north, especially the northeast, hoard canned yellow peaches in large quantities.

On 9 December, Lin's shop, which specializes in snacks, posted on social platforms that canned yellow peach itself has no medicinal effect, and advised netizens to stock up rationally and not follow blindly. The manufacturer also stated that the supply of canned yellow peaches is sufficient at present, so there is no need to panic or snap up them.

The news of canned yellow peaches being snapped up sparked heated discussions among netizens: "If the medicines on the list were not sold out, who would think of such a crooked trick..." "After hoarding medicines and antigen kits, some people started hoarding canned yellow peaches Yes, I can feel that the people are really panicked and helpless." "Let them buy it... It's okay to eat some fruit at home when you're sick, and it can also drive consumption."

A netizen from the Northeast explained, “Friends from the south may not understand the mysterious power of canned yellow peaches? But most friends from the Northeast will definitely understand it in seconds: When they had a cold and a fever when they were young, their parents would buy a bottle of canned yellow peaches to eat. We don’t I know why I want to eat canned yellow peaches, but I really feel better after eating it."

"In the past, the Northeast region liked this kind of food the most. I don't know if it's because of the genetic preference for canned yellow peaches. Anyway, when a disaster comes, all canned yellow peaches are homophonic. The last time we were here was SARS. The sales of canned yellow peaches in the store have surged.”

"As a native of the Northeast, when I caught a cold when I was a child, my mother bought canned food and steamed some chicken cakes. In that era of material scarcity, this was delicious food. After eating, I was relieved, and my illness was really cured by half. Now that the food is delicious and rich, I sincerely hope that canned yellow peaches can help us get through this.”

In the eyes of many northerners, canned yellow peaches are a kind of serious "good medicine" when they were young. After eating, they will miraculously recover from illness. Maybe the vitamins of the fruit boost the immune system or the canned food is cold enough to cool the body down.

In addition, the fruit peach is also full of people's good wishes. The ancient Chinese believed that peach branches can ward off evil spirits, and peaches can also imply "health and longevity" (shoutao). Because "peach" and "escape" have the same pronunciation, there is also a saying that eating peaches "escapes disaster".

It's too late for the CCP to unblock the economy and the people's livelihood is facing a severe test

The CCP virus outbreak broke out for more than three years, and the CCP’s centralized resources had to be “cleared”, causing serious livelihood and economic crises. Now the authorities are under pressure from various parties, and have not done a good job in fully opening up Under the preparation of the government, the policy was loosened rapidly, causing the outside world to worry about possible hidden dangers. At the same time, China's economic trend is not optimistic. Some experts believe that the unblocking is still too late.

The CCP’s long-term and strict “zero-covid” policy has led to rising public grievances, financial strains, and rapid decoupling from the international community. Under the pressure of the situation, the CCP authorities announced the so-called “New Ten Measures” this week to quickly loosen control.

Zhang Tianliang, a scholar of history and culture (source: YouTube at dawn): "Xi Jinping is in power, there is no need to declare power through sealing and controlling, coupled with the pressure of the white paper revolution, so he let it go all at once. This is for political reasons. , there is another reason called economic reasons, that is, there is no money in the finances of various places. After all, maintaining social rule requires cost, and now the maintenance of stability depends entirely on money, so if there is no money in the finances of various places, there will be problems in maintaining stability. The third is external pressure, if you are disconnected from the world, you will not be able to play on your own.”

Although the CCP has relaxed its control, the economy still faces challenges in many aspects, the first being weak domestic demand. Compared with Western countries, people can accumulate salaries by working from home and receive government bailout funds, so the economy recovers quickly after opening up. Under the repeated blockade and control of the Chinese people, both the people's livelihood and the economy have been damaged, and ordinary people have become less willing to spend money.

Beijing resident: "I can't stand the impact of the big environment. This physical store, look at the few people. The mall is open, but no one buys anything."

The owner of the store in Baoding, Hebei: "Look at the present, there are not many people coming out. Basically, they only come out to buy necessities, otherwise people will not come out."

In addition to weak domestic demand, people's panic over the epidemic has also reduced their willingness to go out for consumption. The currently popular mutant strain of Omicron has a very strong transmission speed. According to the official data of the CCP, the number of infections in a single day in November has exceeded 30,000. That is to say, even if the CCP insists on "clearing", it cannot avoid mass infection in China. With the rapid rise of the epidemic and the opacity of government information, people dare not go out for consumption, and many businesses continue to close their doors.

Ms. Zhao, a catering business owner in Beijing: "I don't know which one is positive and which one is negative. It feels like there is a time bomb around me at any time."

Jiangsu factory worker: "This is Jintan (District), Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. All garment factories and all garment foreign trade orders have been cancelled. Today is the last day to go to work."

The owner of the machinery processing factory: "The machinery processing factory has been in operation for six years. For the first time, there have been no new orders for six months in a row. Now the United States (country) has transferred all orders to Vietnam and India. Our traditional mechanical processing plants are basically out of work, and we have never encountered this situation before.”

Although the CCP has greatly relaxed the "dynamic clearing" control this time, Zhang Taisu, a professor at Yale Law School, pointed out, "It is worrying that (opening up) came too late to save the economy. The supply chain has been irretrievably moved outward, and the real estate market cannot Reversed recession, domestic consumption has also been irreversibly hurt."

The CCP closed the country and the US Department of Homeland Security: Counterfeit goods have increased

Reporters : Ke Tingting and Shang Jing / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/12/10/a103594916.html

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Homeland Security displayed some intercepted counterfeit and shoddy goods at the cargo terminal of New York’s JFK International Airport on Thursday morning. At most, the reporter brings more details.

Every year around the holiday shopping season, there is a peak period for a large number of counterfeit and shoddy goods to flow into the United States. The ongoing World Cup even includes the Hercules Cup.

All kinds of brand-name bags, clothing watches, and even trophies have become the list of counterfeit and shoddy goods. According to the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), it intercepted 25 million counterfeit goods last year, with a sales value of more than 3 billion Dollar.

Salvatore Ingrassia, JFK Customs Port Director, said, "More than 51% of the counterfeit goods we intercepted came from China and Hong Kong."

The flow of counterfeit goods into the U.S. has increased rather than decreased as China shuts down the country to contain the outbreak, officials said, as people prefer to shop online.

Marina Vides, deputy special agent director of the New York Office of the Department of Homeland Security Investigations: "Now there are more fakes (from China) because online shopping sales have skyrocketed. Clicking on some spam emails may refer you to counterfeit websites. It's similar, but not a real brand website."

To avoid buying fakes, do not go for the cheap, check the listings for legitimate listings, check for flaws, and make sure you shop from reputable sources, officials said.

Hu Xijin posted on Weibo in the evening of 8 December, "Today, the National Health Commission reported that the number of new infections in the country in the first day was 21,165, while yesterday's report was 27,847 cases, but it has dropped, and it is more than 40,000 in the previous period. This number is contradicted by Lao Hu's direct observation and credible information on the Internet, so I don't believe this number is true, and probably no one will believe its authenticity."

U.S. Immigration Lawyer: Participating in the Blank Paper Revolution can apply for political asylum

The fire in Urumqi, Xinjiang on 24 November awakened the Chinese and overseas Chinese to actively participate in the "blank paper revolution." They shouted "the Communist Party stepped down." Some immigration lawyers said that the number of Chinese citizens applying for asylum in the United States is on the rise.

Recently, some media reported that since the "blank paper revolution", the number of Chinese citizens consulting a certain American law firm for political asylum has increased from 20 to 30 people a day to 200 to 300 people a day.

A New York immigration lawyer told NTDTV that he felt that the demand for Chinese citizens to immigrate has increased significantly in the past six months.

American immigration lawyer Gao Guangjun said, "The past six months have been very unique. This has been the most obvious since the time of the Shanghai ban. Now I didn't say it and heard a lot right away, but the wave of immigration is very, very Big one."

Attorney Gao mentioned that the current ways for Chinese to come to the United States are other than normal channels, such as family immigration, investment immigration, applying for a visa to come to the United States, or immigrating to other countries first, and then springboard to the United States. The number of people smuggling is on the rise.

Gao Guangjun: "The smugglers, as we know in the past, are mostly Fujianese. However, recently, there are a large number of smugglers from all over the country, passing through Central and South America, then to Mexico, and (then) to the United States. The numbers are increasing."

If people cannot get a visa to go abroad, it has become a strategy to go to a visa-free country first.

Gao Guangjun: "He can only go somewhere through those visa-free countries, and then go to the United States and smuggle into the United States. So this process, this amount, as far as I know, is increasing every day, a large increase."

Lawyer Gao said that regardless of whether they have entered the country with a visa or not, Chinese people have a relatively high success rate in applying for political asylum in the United States. Participants of the recent "white paper revolution" are also eligible to apply for political asylum.

Gao Guangjun: "The reason for applying for political asylum in the "Blank Paper Revolution" (participants) is of course political views. If you participated in the "Blank Paper Revolution", of course you participated in a political activity, and of course you can be eligible apply for political asylum." "According to the current situation in China, people are checking everywhere, when did you participate in the 'blank paper revolution', checking your mobile phone and people one by one from university to university. So the Communist Party will definitely not let you cry slogans like "Down with the Communist Party" and "Down with Xi Jinping"."

A mainland scholar who came to the United States a few months ago said that the existence of the CCP has made it difficult for Chinese people to live a stable life.

Li Hengzhen, a former university scholar in mainland China: "Whether it is from the perspective of the party or the individual (the person in power), its nature in history is to toss, and it will feel uncomfortable if it does not toss for a day. Tossing will mean that people The standard of living will definitely drop.”

Mr. Yang, who came to the United States three years ago by smuggling from Mexico, said he would do whatever it takes to gain freedom and human rights.

Mr. Yang, a New York City resident and smuggler in 2019, said, "I am not afraid of any price. I am not afraid of any price in order to come to the United States and escape from the Communist Party." With this spirit, there will always be success."

India trains junta legal officials despite arbitrary arrests, extra-judicial killings

The world’s largest democracy, India, is providing capacity building training for Legal Affairs Ministry staff of the military regime, just as foreign governments and organizations are condemning the junta’s arbitrary detention, jailing and death sentences for democracy activists including university students.

Forty Myanmar junta trainees including a deputy permanent secretary, directors-general, deputy directors-general, assistant directors-general, staff officers of the Supreme Court of the Union, district and township judges and law officers underwent capacity building training for judges and law officers provided by the National Judicial Academy in India’s Bhopal from Dec. 5-8.

The training signals that India is expanding its assistance to junta’s judicial system beyond the military, economic and diplomatic fields, and assisting the regime with its plan to hold a general election next year.

The training was conducted under a memorandum of understanding between the junta’s Attorney-General’s Office and the National Judicial Academy of India. The Myanmar trainees were taught about the Indian Constitution, judicial system, court management, and relevant laws and procedures. They also visited a medical science center and the district court and central jail in Bhopal, according to junta media.

Yoga for junta staff

It appears that Indian diplomats have been promoting their country’s ancient practices during their recent meetings with junta chief Min Aung Hlaing in Naypyitaw. In November, he preached the benefits of intermittent fasting and instructed obese department staff to fast for 36 hours. And Min Aung Hlaing is now instructing government employees to practice yoga for their mental and physical health.

A yoga training class opened at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on Dec. 7, and 61 staff attended. Similar classes will be organized for other ministries, according to junta media.

Since early November ministries have been hosting team-building lunches for their employees, with the Ministry of Information visiting each government office to entertain staff with music and dance.

Those activities are part of a campaign aimed at creating fun working places for civil servants. With the state of emergency ending in around two months, the junta wants to create the impression for the international community that government employees are working happily for the coup leader. It also seeks to win votes from government employees in a general election it plans to hold next year.

It is an open secret that Min Aung Hlaing is dreaming of ascending to the presidency through next year’s election. The junta boss in July announced his plan to provide monthly allowances for permanent government employees to pay their rent. Many senior civil servants received awards when he handed out titles and medals on 17 November to mark the country’s National Day.

NUG calls junta conglomerates terrorism fundraisers

The parallel National Unity Government (NUG) on Dec. 6 designated Myanmar military-owned Myanmar Economic Holdings Ltd. and Myanmar Economic Corporation as terrorist organizations.

The two business entities monopolize various businesses in Myanmar ranging from mining, manufacturing, transportation, banking and telecommunications to trading, and the military regime is spending the profits from those businesses on campaigns of violence against innocent civilians across the country, said the civilian government.

Revenues from those businesses are only shared among military leaders and senior military officers, and the rank-and-file members barely enjoy any benefits, said the NUG, citing dividend payment documents.

Myanmar Economic Holdings Ltd held its 33rd annual general meeting on Nov. 25, during which a director explained the distribution of dividends, according to the junta’s mouthpiece Myawady Daily.

The U.S. imposed sanctions on both business entities in March last year, following the military takeover.

The Myanmar military regime and the NUG have branded each other as terrorist organizations.

Min Aung Hlaing eyes production of covid medicine at home

During the serious covid outbreak in 2021, junta chief Min Aung Hlaing said Myanmar would go broke if covi vaccines were to be imported from abroad for all 50-million-plus people in the country. He then promoted the idea of producing covid medicines from herbs at home.

He urged traditional medicine practitioners in the country to produce herbal medicines that could be used to fight covi. During a COVID-19 meeting in August last year, he proudly said the country’s Ministry of Health and the military’s medical research corps were embarking on research to develop traditional covid medicine.

Several thousand people died of covid during the third wave last year as the regime was formulating traditional medicine to fight the disease.

Min Aung Hlaing remained boastful about his medicine when delivering a video address to the Myanmar Traditional Medicine Practitioner Conference on Thursday. A clinical trial was successful, and the herbal medicine will soon be put into production, he said.

As the covi infection rate stands at 0.25 percent now, Min Aung Hlaing said his medicine, known as Say Khar Gyi, or bitter medicine, can also be used to treat seasonal flu.

Min Aung Hlaing’s idea to use herbal plants to treat covid patients is not an original one. He is just echoing Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, who has supported the use of a medicinal herb, green chiretta, to relieve symptoms in mild cases of COVID-19.

It is also possible that Min Aung Hlaing is taking a cue from Kim Jong-un, as North Korea focuses on traditional herbal medicine to fight the covid virus.

Two NLD members meet Aung San Suu Kyi to explain Myanmar Junta election plans

Image of Aung San Suu Kyi : The Irrawaddy
Myanmar’s military regime set up for two National League Democracy (NLD) members to sell the idea of the junta’s plans for a general election next year to jailed State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, sources told The Irrawaddy.

The party leader was taken from her Naypyitaw Prison cell, where she has been held since June, to the meeting inside the prison compound with Daw Sandar Min.

The other person at the meeting was either U Toe Lwin, the brother-in-law of NLD lawmaker U Thein Swe, who represented Pyapon Township in Ayeyarwady Region or U Aung Soe, the party’s Tanintharyi regional chair.

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi reportedly looked furious after the meeting and dismissed their proposals.

Daw Sandar Min, a former Yangon regional lawmaker, is known to have close ties to junta spokesman Zaw Min Tun and other high-ranking military officers. She is one of the few NLD members who is looking to run in the election the junta is planning, which is denounced by a majority of the population and the civilian National Unity Government.

Most NLD members have been in hiding since the coup and many have been killed by the junta.

Observers say the regime hopes to divide the NLD by using a handful of members prepared to run in the election and used Daw Sandar Min to represent their views to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi about joining the junta-organized poll.

Daw Sandar Min was unavailable for comment. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is being held in isolation and being prevented from speaking to the media.

The United Nations and United States said any election would be fraudulent.
