飞石家庄航班备降 是气球还是另有隐情?

At noon on 16 February 2023, many netizens in mainland China sent messages saying that many flights to Shijiazhuang from various places were diverting or had already diverted to other places. Officials later claimed that "a balloon was found in the sky", sparking various speculations.

According to the customized information of Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport customized by the VariFlight abnormal data service, around 12 pm, multiple aircraft arriving in Shijiazhuang issued alternate flight notifications.

Affected flights include flights from Xiamen, Sanya, Haikou, Pudong, Chengdu and Kunming. Topics about Shijiazhuang once topped the Weibo hot search list.

The mainland "Tianmu News" called Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport. The airport staff said that the airspace of the airport was occupied between 11 am and 1 pm on the 16th, "because there were some related activities, which led to temporary air control."

The staff on duty of the North China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation said, "A UFO was discovered, and it was finally detected to be a balloon, and it has now returned to normal."  the staff said they do not know the specific situation of the balloon.

On Weibo in mainland China, a netizen who claimed to have lived in Shijiazhuang for 26 years and lives in the city center also posted that it was a bit unusual: "(in the past) I didn't hear any sound of planes", but, "there were indeed planes in the past two nights. Flying low from south to north".

Afterwards, this netizen added, "At seven o'clock in the evening, I heard three more planes flying back and forth", "Continue to update, every 10 minutes on average, and every 20 minutes to and fro, I really don't know what I'm doing."

In addition, many netizens reported that Lanzhou Airport also had a similar large number of alternate landings. In this regard, the staff of Lanzhou Airport said that due to the foggy weather at the airport, there is no way to take off and land normally, so some arriving flights are making backup landings in Yinchuan, Xi'an and other places. The weather is improving now, and flights are taking off and landing. The airport is back to normal.

Shijiazhuang Airport was closed for a while, CAAC said it found a balloon

In the afternoon of 16 February, Beijing time, Shijiazhuang Airport was temporarily closed, causing many flights to divert. The airport stated that this was due to the occupation of airspace users, which led to temporary air control; while the CAAC North China Bureau stated that it had discovered a balloon. As the current sensitive moment in Sino-US relations has dropped to a freezing point, the United States shot down the CCP’s spy balloon. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China accused the U.S. balloons of entering China many times but they could not provide evidence. Now the appearance of this mysterious balloon in Shijiazhuang makes people from the outside world speculate more.

From 11 am to 1 pm on 16 February, Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport in Hebei Province experienced anomalies. Many flights to Shijiazhuang were diverted to other places. The feedback information said that "a UFO was discovered, and it was finally detected to be a balloon, and it has returned to normal now." The staff said they did not know the specific situation of the balloon.

Previously, the staff of Zhengding Airport told a number of mainland media that due to the occupation of airspace users, temporary air control resulted in the diversion of flights to Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, and emphasized that "it was not due to the weather." However, it did not explain who the users occupying the airspace were.

The "occupation of airspace" introduced by mainland media means that users with higher priority in flight management use the airspace, and civil aircraft need to temporarily avoid it. Six CAAC offices in Hebei belong to the North China Regional Administration, and 11 military aviation offices belong to the Central Theater Command.

The news triggered heated discussions on the Internet. Netizens satirized: "It seems to say that it seems to have said nothing." "Great power game, you must first control public opinion." Many." "Hurry up and put a few more to create a puzzle!"

Another netizen disclosed that many helicopters appeared in the sky over Hebei on 16 February but this station cannot independently verify this.

Behind the scenes of Chinese spy balloons! Japanese media reveals that Xi Jinping ordered the establishment of a "secret army"

In response to the shooting down of a Chinese spy balloon intruding into U.S. airspace, Katsuji Nakazawa, the former China bureau chief of Nikkei Asia, wrote on 16 February 2023 that national security analysts believe that The People's Liberation Army's "Strategic Support Force" (SSF), created on the orders of Chinese President Xi Jinping, is likely behind such balloon incursions, having used balloons to spy on the U.S. Freedom of Navigation mission in the South China Sea in 2021.

According to a report submitted by the Pentagon to the U.S. Congress, the PLA Strategic Support Force was established in 2015 as part of the PLA's organizational restructuring. It is a theater command-level organization designed to integrate the PLA's strategic space, cyberspace, electronic, ICT and PSYOP missions and capabilities.

The most important theater for the Strategic Support Force appears to be the South China Sea, where the SSF conducts early warning and surveillance alongside intelligence search activities. In early 2021, when the USS Theodore Roosevelt aircraft carrier and its escort ships were conducting freedom of navigation operations in the South China Sea and approaching Chinese military installations in the South China Sea, China sent reconnaissance balloons to fly over the skies to the USS Theodore Roosevelt strike group and gather intelligence about the actions of the US military.

The Strategic Support Force is extremely secretive, but a 2016 report by the Communist Party's mouthpiece, the Global Times, gave the outside world a glimpse of its mission. The article claims that the strategic support force is composed of three units with different functions: the cyber warfare force, which defends against hacker attacks; the space warfare force, which manages spy satellites and China's own Beidou satellite navigation system; and destroys enemy radar systems and communications electronic warfare units.

Nakazawa pointed out that the Chinese high-altitude reconnaissance balloon shot down by a U.S. F-22 fighter jet off the coast of South Carolina was equipped with antennas believed to be related to intercepting communications, suggesting a relationship with the Strategic Support Force. Hainan Island, where the balloon took off, is also home to an important satellite launch facility in China.

The background of the Strategic Support Force can be traced back to 1999, when a book "Unrestricted Warfare" (Unrestricted Warfare) written by two PLA colonels appeared, which proposed the idea of mobilizing all areas of society—political, economic, cultural, ideological and psychological—As a non-military weapon, it lays the foundation for the establishment of strategic support forces.

The Pentagon's report describes the Strategic Support Force's mission and work under the framework of "three warfare": public opinion warfare, psychological warfare and legal warfare. The United States believes that in the event of an emergency in Taiwan, Chinese cyber warfare forces will try to launch psychological warfare in an attempt to influence public opinion in Taiwan.

Nakazawa said that there have been recent signs that the Strategic Support Force is expanding its establishment, recruiting college graduates and highly educated recruits through online advertisements, while high school and vocational school graduates are engaged in relatively low-level jobs related to information technology. The hiring process is surprisingly open, like a private enterprise. Indeed, the Strategic Support Force is a symbol of Xi Jinping's signature policy of "military-civilian integration."

The United States recently shot down a Chinese spy balloon that broke into its airspace, and warned that China is using a "balloon fleet" to invade the airspace of countries on five continents, arousing international attention. Responding to the Japanese government's recent confirmation that it had found a suspected Chinese reconnaissance balloon in the past, former Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera publicly called on the government on 16 February 2023 to cooperate with Taiwan and share military intelligence related to Chinese reconnaissance aircraft.

According to the "Asahi Shimbun" report, as various countries have released sighting information about Chinese reconnaissance aircraft, the Ministry of Defense of Japan also confirmed on 14 February that balloon-type UFOs have been found in Japanese airspace at least three times in recent years, including Satsumasendai in Kagoshima Prefecture in November 2019. Satsumasendai, Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture in June 2020, and Hachinohe in Aomori Prefecture in September 2021 are strongly suspected to be unmanned high-altitude balloons from China.

In this regard, Itsunori Onodera, who served as the defense minister in the late former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s administration and is currently the chairman of the National Security Investigation Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party, said in an interview with Reuters on Thursday that the Japanese government should cooperate with Taiwan and share relevant information. China has unmanned surveillance balloons and military intelligence that may threaten their respective airspaces. "For many years, Taiwan has been paying attention to information about China. Taiwan's ideas and information are very important to Japan in formulating a response policy of 'Taiwan has something to do'."

The report pointed out that Japan and Taiwan do not currently have formal diplomatic relations, and there is no mechanism for sharing military information. Onodera Itsunori said that the Japanese government will carefully review and adjust. The most likely option is to share information through the United States and establish a tripartite relationship between the United States, Japan and Taiwan. On the pipeline, "if information sharing between these three countries becomes possible, that would be a very important step".

It is suspected that China's reconnaissance balloon has violated its airspace three times, and Japan intends to relax the standard to allow the Self-Defense Force to shoot down!

The Chinese spy balloon was shot down earlier this month because it broke into the U.S. airspace. Washington also warned that China's "balloon fleet" is infringing on the sovereignty of many countries on five continents. Countries have released information on unidentified reconnaissance balloon sightings, attracting international attention. The Japanese government revealedon 15 February that the Ministry of Defense is studying relaxing the standards for the use of weapons so that the Self-Defense Forces can shoot down unreported foreign aircraft if they are found.

According to the "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" report, the Ministry of Defense of Japan issued a statement on the evening of the 14th stating that balloon-type UFOs have been discovered in Japanese airspace at least three times in recent years, including November 2019 in Satsumasendai, Kagoshima Prefecture, and in June 2020 in the sky above Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, and Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture in September 2021. It was strongly suspected that they were all unmanned high-altitude balloons from China, which aroused heated discussions in Japanese society.

Article 84 of Japan's "Self-Defense Forces Law" stipulates that foreign aircraft entering Japan's airspace without permission violates international law, and the Self-Defense Forces can take "necessary measures" to force the opponent to land or leave the airspace, but only when the opponent launches an attack or internal emergency evacuation is necessary, the Self-Defense Forces can open fire.

In this regard, Minoru Kihara, director of the Liberal Democratic Party's Security Investigation Committee, revealed at the "Joint Meeting of the Defense Committee" within the party today that the Ministry of Defense is re-examining the relevant regulations and considering relaxing the standards for the use of weapons by the Self-Defense Forces, so that foreign suspicious unmanned detectors are shot down to avoid information leakage.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Hiroichi Matsuno also reiterated at the meeting that Japan is working closely with its allies and like-minded countries to collect relevant information, warn and monitor unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.

Biden delivered a speech on the balloon incident: He will not apologize to the CCP

Reporters : Jin Shi and Qiao An / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/02/17/a103651027.html

President Joe Biden made his first televised address on Thursday, nearly two weeks after the Chinese spy balloon invasion of the United States.

U.S. President Joe Biden: "I will not apologize for shooting down that balloon."

U.S. President Joe Biden made his first official speech on the Chinese espionage incident on Thursday. Biden said he does not regret his decision to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon.

U.S. President Joe Biden: "Make no mistake, if any object posed a threat to the safety of the American people, I would shoot it down."

Biden also reiterated again that violations of the sovereignty of the United States are unacceptable.

Biden: "Last Friday, we imposed sanctions on six companies that directly support the Chinese military in support of the Chinese People's Liberation Army's aerospace program, which includes aircraft and balloons."

However, Biden also said he was not seeking confrontation with Beijing and said he planned to meet with Xi Jinping in the future.

After the U.S. military shot down the Chinese Communist balloon on the Atlantic coast on 4 February, the U.S. found UFOs in U.S. airspace for three consecutive days from 10 to 12 February and shot them down respectively. Biden said that there is currently no indication that the three flying objects are related to the CCP but the surveillance risk of these flying objects cannot be ruled out.

Biden: "I gave the order to shoot down these three objects because they are a hazard to civil and commercial air traffic and we cannot rule out their surveillance risk to sensitive facilities."

In addition, Biden said that he has instructed the national security team to formulate a number of measures to protect the security of the U.S. airspace, including strengthening the ability to detect unmanned aerial vehicles.

The CCP spy balloon incident triggered a new round of diplomatic crisis between China and the United States, and also sparked a huge backlash in the United States. On the previous Wednesday, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a resolution condemning the CCP spy balloons for violating U.S. airspace and urging President Biden to explain the CCP balloon incident to the American people and Congress.

U.S. official: China's spy balloon has a self-destruct program but it did not activate

美官员:中共间谍气球有自毁程序 但没启动

U.S. officials have previously stated that the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down may have an explosive device. A few days ago, U.S. media quoted official sources as confirming that the balloon had a self-destruct program but it did not activate or failed to activate before being shot down.

The New York Times reported on Wednesday (15 February) that according to U.S. officials, early research results show that the self-destruct mechanism of the Chinese spy balloon is intact.

They revealed that Navy divers searching for debris off the coast of South Carolina saw an explosive device designed to destroy the payload. As FBI investigators examined the debris, they speculated whether something might have malfunctioned with the device.

However several U.S. officials said they now believed the device was normal.

U.S. officials said China likely wanted to avoid activating the self-destruct device over U.S. land for fear of possible damage to the ground, prompting a rapid escalation of the crisis. CCP officials may also have the ability to deflate the balloon and let it float to the ground, but they do not want the US to get access to the surveillance equipment on the balloon.

The report said that within a few days after the United States discovered the balloon, the CCP did not take any action against the balloon floating over the US military base. It was not until the eve of the shooting down of the balloon that the CCP notified the US that the balloon controller was speeding it out of U.S. airspace but at this time, it has been nearly three days since the balloon public crisis broke out. The American public and politicians are publicly expressing their anger. The Biden-Harris administration has also attracted fierce criticism for not shooting down the balloon in time.

According to reports, the CCP’s response after the outbreak of the balloon crisis shows that Beijing may have seriously misjudged the United States.

The report quoted sources as saying that in the afternoon of 1 February, the U.S. State Department sent a formal opinion letter to Zhu Haiquan, head of the CCP Chinese embassy in the U.S., requesting Beijing to respond to the balloon incident. At that time, Zhu Haiquan seemed to be taken aback but CCP did not take immediate action.

It was not until 2 February, after the Pentagon publicly announced that a CCP spy balloon had been spotted over the United States, that officials from the CCP Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs privately admitted to diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing that it was a Chinese balloon, but it was just a “harmless civilian airship that deviated from the orbit.”.

On 3 February, China issued a public statement. On the same day, Blinken announced the cancellation of his weekend visit to Beijing. After that, the balloon appeared to pick up speed, U.S. officials said.

On 4 February, Chinese officials told the U.S. that controllers were trying to speed the balloon out of U.S. airspace. But by then the balloon had reached the Atlantic coast, and the U.S. military had already begun planning to shoot it down at sea. That afternoon, the U.S. military shot down the balloon with a missile.

According to earlier reports, this CCP spy balloon is flying in the "stratosphere" at an altitude of about 20,000 m.

The "stratosphere," also known as near space, is where most aircraft and satellites cannot stay permanently. Chinese military commentator Shi Hong wrote in a magazine last year: "Whoever can gain an advantage in approaching space vehicles will also be able to grasp a greater initiative in future wars."

The first CCP unmanned airship takes off from Hainan on 27 July 2019

The Southern Metropolis Daily, a subsidiary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, boasted in August 2019 that the Dongguan Research Institute under the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics had "broke through a series of major technical problems" and achieved "the first time human beings have used aerodynamics at an altitude of 20,000 meters." circumnavigation of the world in a controlled stratospheric airship".

According to the report, an unmanned airship named "Chasing the Cloud" of the institute took off from Hainan Island on 27 July 2019, and began to fly at an altitude of 20,000 meters, circling more than half a circle of the earth from east to west before returning to the starting point.

The flight trajectory map published in the report showed that the airship flew over the southern states of the United States, including Florida, Louisiana, and Texas, and passed through the area around Hawaii.

U.S.-China rivalry continues after China Spy Balloon Incident

Reporters : Xia Dunhou and Liu Fang / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/02/16/a103650778.html

In the face of U.S. condemnation, the CCP has always denied that they violated U.S. sovereignty and threatened retaliation. Scholars believe that US-China relations will continue to be confrontational for some time.

The Chinese spy balloon incident has led to another round of confrontation between the United States and China. The U.S. government sanctioned six related entities in China, and the Senate and House of Representatives successively passed resolutions condemning the CCP for violating U.S. sovereignty.

The CCP has always denied the U.S. accusation, saying that the U.S. "escalated the situation" and threatened countermeasures. He also bit back, saying that the United States has also flown high-altitude balloons, flying over China's airspace at least a dozen times.

Chen Bingkui, an associate professor at National Chengchi University, believes that the CCP's rhetoric is to protect itself.

Chen Bingkui, associate professor of Taiwan National Chengchi University's Department of Foreign Affairs: "The CCP's response has changed from the beginning to a few weeks later. That is to say, the CCP believes that it has been stimulated, so it needs to defend its own interests. Of course, the CCP This approach has not helped to ease the tension between the two countries."

The protracted trade war between the United States and China, the intensifying technological war, and the armaments in the Asia-Pacific region are all considered to have entered a new cold war stage in a sense between the two countries.

Robert Farley, an assistant professor at the University of Kentucky, told VOA that he believes that China and the United States will usher in long-term conflict and competition.

However, Chen Bingkui believes that the confrontation between the United States and China will be at a low level.

Chen Bingkui: "I don't think the conditions for a confrontation similar to the Cold War have yet developed. But this does not mean that there will be no confrontation between China and the United States. I think there will continue to be frictions between China and the United States on different issues. Then let the U.S.-China relations continue to be at a very low level."

The CCP says it has achieved a "decisive victory" in the fight against the epidemic, and netizens lament "the face is really thick"

中共称抗疫“取得决定性胜利” 网民叹“脸真厚”

The CCP’s absurd “epidemic prevention” has caused countless humanitarian disasters, and the funeral industry has become the “biggest winner.” However, the CCP "celebrated its victory" before the funeral industry, and also claimed that the death rate was "the lowest in the world", and was ridiculed as "unusually thick-skinned".

According to CCP media reports, on 16 February, the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CCP held a meeting to hear a report on recent epidemic prevention. Xi Jinping presided over the meeting and delivered an "important speech."

The meeting claimed that the CCP’s anti-epidemic efforts over the past three years have “always insisted on the supremacy of the people and the supremacy of life” and “gained precious time to win the battle against epidemic prevention and control.” In the stable stage of epidemic prevention and control", "the death rate has remained at the lowest level in the world, and a major decisive victory in epidemic prevention and control has been achieved, creating a miracle in the history of human civilization that a country with a large population successfully emerged from the epidemic" and so on.

Image : Screenshot deformed

The CCP’s bragging has drawn criticism from netizens. Many Twitter netizens left messages: "MD, what is this face made of? It can be so shameless that it is unprecedented and unparalleled in the world!" Shameless and invincible."

Some netizens commented: "No matter how much disaster they bring to the people, they will definitely declare victory. Mao launched the Anti-Rightist Great Leap Forward and other campaigns, starved to death and persecuted tens of millions of people to death, and they won. On June 4th, Deng massacred the city, beheaded destroying the hope of democracy, they won. Extreme epidemic prevention, lying flat and liberalization caused a tsunami of epidemics and lack of medical treatment, causing countless deaths, and they won again. They regard the people as nothing, and as long as they have power, they will continue to win go to victory!"

The CCP's three-year "strict defense" not only destroyed the economy, but also caused countless people to die of illness and starvation, and countless people committed suicide. After November 2022, it suddenly "loosened", especially on 7 December 2022 when it "laid down completely", which was accused of actually turning to "should be dyed and died", trying to use the fastest infection to realize the so-called "group death". immunity". The CCP's "laying down" quickly collapsed the medical system, and the death toll also overloaded the funeral systems in various places, with dead bodies everywhere in hospitals and crematoria.

After the outbreak of the first round of the epidemic in 2020, the CCP also held a "celebration meeting", and even published a book boasting about the "miracle of a great country in fighting the epidemic", boasting of the so-called "institutional advantages", and let foreign governments "copy their homework". As a result, in the second half of 2022, when the global epidemic slows down, the epidemic in China will once again get out of control on a large scale, discrediting the CCP.

At present, the CCP declares that "the peak of the national epidemic has passed." However, many experts believe that covi (covid virus, CCP virus, novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2) is constantly mutating, and it is unrealistic to use large-scale infection to create "herd immunity", and the epidemic is likely to show a trend of multiple rounds of outbreaks.

Covi is still spreading across China. It is reported that the police stationed in funeral parlors in many places to "maintain stability" but netizens can still take pictures of overcrowding in many large hospitals.

Billionaire George Soros warned that the wrong economic policies and epidemic prevention measures adopted by the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party have caused suffering to the people, shaken the people’s trust in the authorities, and forced them to go public On the verge of resistance, the internal situation in CCP China has all the prerequisites for detonating revolution or regime change.

The Munich Security Conference, an international heavyweight security forum, is held from 17 to 19 February 2023. The 92-year-old Soros delivered a speech at the Technical University of Munich ahead of schedule on 16 February, pointing out that the revolutionary process within China may have already begun.

Soros is the founder of the international donor organization "Open Society Foundations". According to the speech provided by the foundation, Soros pointed out that Xi Jinping will be the "clear loser" and that his close relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin will eventually hurt himself.

He believes that Xi Jinping's problems are all his own making, especially the various measures to deal with covid are Xi's biggest failure, causing suffering to the Chinese people and forcing them to the brink of open resistance.

At the end of November 2022, the "White Paper Movement" broke out in many major cities in China to oppose the eradication of blockades and control, and even shouted political slogans such as "Communist Party step down" and "Xi Jinping step down", which shocked people at home and abroad. Under pressure from the public, Xi Jinping abandoned the "dynamic clearing" policy without warning in early December 2022, which led to a full-scale outbreak of the epidemic in China. Ashortage of medicines, overcrowded hospitals and funeral parlors, and endless piles of corpses follow.

Soros said that the chaos in China's epidemic prevention has shaken people's trust in the CCP authorities. The current internal situation in China has all the prerequisites for detonating revolution or regime change, and all this is just the beginning.

He believes that when Xi Jinping met with US President Biden at the G20 summit in November 2022, he showed his willingness to cooperate with the United States. However, the recent Chinese spy balloon incident that invaded the US airspace has further deteriorated U.S.-CCP relations.

Soros is the founder of the Open Society Foundations, the second largest private philanthropic foundation in the United States, with $28 billion in assets. In recent years, due to the rapid deterioration of U.S.-CCP relations and Xi Jinping’s insistence on zero-covid epidemic prevention policies, U.S. investors are not optimistic about CCP China’s development prospects. Therefore, Soros has always held a negative view of Xi Jinping’s attempt to govern indefinitely.

On 31 January 2022, Soros said in a speech at the Hoover Institution of Stanford University that Xi Jinping has many enemies within the party, the housing crisis in China, the ineffectiveness of domestic vaccines, and the decline in the birth rate are all factors that are not conducive to Xi's re-election. .

"Omicron could be the key to Xi Jinping's downfall." Soros said the mutant strain "is no longer under control" and poses a serious threat to the economy and Xi Jinping's ability to contain the spread of the epidemic. There may also be public resentment.

He also expressed the hope that Mr. Xi would be replaced by a leader who is less authoritarian at home and more peaceful abroad.

On 24 May 2022, in his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Soros once again criticized Xi Jinping's zero-covid policy, arguing that the policy had completely failed.

He believes that Xi Jinping has many enemies within the CCP. “It is well known that there is dissent within the Communist Party. It has become so acute that it can be seen in articles that the average person can read, and it will greatly reduce his power and influence and the possibility of enabling him as a ruler for life has reduced."
