The CCP forcibly classified Hu Xinyu’s case as a “suicide” but the outside world generally suspects that Hu has become an organ donor for senior CCP officials. Family members once broke the news that Hu had symptoms such as insomnia, vomiting, and photophobia before his disappearance. Some doctors suspected that this was caused by taking rejection drugs.
A few days ago, a video was uploaded on the Internet showing that Hu Xinyu had written words such as "thirsty" and "vomited up after eating bread" in his notebook before his death. To become an organ donor, because about 16 to 10 days before the organ transplant operation, the organ donor and the recipient have to take an anti-rejection drug at the same time. After taking this drug, the human body will feel very uncomfortable. The spirit is not good, and symptoms such as insomnia, photophobia, nausea, and vomiting appear.
On 15 January 2023, Weibo celebrity Song Zude also mentioned in a blog post calling for the prohibition of organ transplantation that before organ transplantation, if the donor is secretly drugged and given anti-rejection drugs, it may cause insomnia, fear of light, nausea, vomiting, irritability, depression and other symptoms.
Anti-rejection drugs work by suppressing rejection between the donor's organ and the recipient. According to public information, there are many kinds of anti-rejection drugs, and one of the side effects of tacrolimus includes insomnia, nightmares, high blood lipids, gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension or diarrhea), high blood suga , hyperkalemia, hypomagnesemia, nephrotoxicity and so on.
A deleted mainland media article on 23 January 2023 mentioned that Hu Xinyu's family had previously revealed that Hu Xinyu's temperament had changed drastically during the 40 days since he entered Zhiyuan Middle School, and he developed symptoms such as insomnia, photophobia, and vomiting.
Hu's uncle revealed that Hu Xinyu used to like to go to his grandmother's house to play, but he did not like to go to his grandmother's house after he arrived at Zhiyuan Middle School. Even when his grandmother called him, he seemed very impatient.
In addition, Hu Xinyu called his family, saying that he could not sleep well, and complained that "the windows are too bright". His elder brother bought him blindfolds without knowing it.
Hu Xinyu wrote in a note that he went to bed around 11.30 pm and woke up around 5.30 am. After waking up, he could not fall asleep but he did not want to get up because he was afraid that his roommate would complain about disturbing his rest.
Hu Xinyu also wrote in his notebook, "My mouth is so thirsty, I really vomited. After eating the newborn bread, I was really thirsty, and I really took it."
Hu Xinyu's notes mentioned "bread for freshmen", which caused netizens to question, "Does the school still have bread for freshmen?", "Don't newborns eat the same bread as old ones?", "Why do I feel thirsty and vomit after eating fresh bread? Has the bread gone bad or is there something weird in it?"
In September 2022, Hu Xinyu entered Zhiyuan Middle School as a fresh student. After just over 40 days, he disappeared mysteriously on 14 October.
According to the head teacher of the private Taoyuan Middle School in Qianshan County where he attended junior high school, Hu Xinyu usually studies very well but he suddenly had a fever during the senior high school entrance examination, which caused him to perform abnormally. He only scored 531 points in the test, ranking seventh in the bottom of his class. The failure of the high school entrance examination prevented him from being admitted to the local Qianshan No. 1 Middle School. In the end, because Hu Xinyu and Zhiyuan Middle School signed an early admission agreement for the senior high school entrance examination, he entered Zhiyuan Middle School.
Hu Xinyu's junior high school classmates said that Hu Xinyu was "locked" in advance by Zhiyuan Middle School as an outstanding student and includes tuition fee for one semester.
There are rumours on the Internet that cannot be verified that Hu Xinyu had been "successfully matched" with a high-ranking official at Taoyuan Middle School. In order to facilitate organ harvesting, Zhiyuan Middle School specially recruited Hu Xinyu to the high school of the school.

King Charles pens letter to New Zealand, proving the monarchy has changed forever under his leadership
King Charles III has sent a letter to New Zealand referring to the country as Aotearoa in a first for the British monarch.
Aotearoa is the Māori name for the country, and there have been growing calls for it to become New Zealand's official name. Māori are the indigenous Polynesian people of the country.
King Charles penned the letter to share his condolences with the country after it was battered by deadly floods and record rainfall last week.
At least four people died while thousands of homes have been left damaged after the heavy rain triggered widespread landslides.
King Charles opened the letter by addressing New Zealand by its traditional Māori name.
"It is with the deepest concern that I have been following news of the flooding and severe weather affecting several regions in Aotearoa New Zealand,' he wrote.
"My wife and I send our heartfelt sympathy to the families of those who have lost their lives, and our thoughts are with the many others whose lives have been so terribly impacted by events.
"I have long admired the strength and resourcefulness of New Zealanders, and I send my thoughts and prayers to all those who are supporting response and recovery efforts to help people repair or restore homes, businesses and lives."
King Charles continued to pay his respects to the Indigenous people of the land by ending the letter with a Māori phrase.
'Kia kaha, kia maia, kia manawanui. Be strong, be brave, be steadfast,' he wrote.
New Zealand is one of 15 nations under the Commonwealth with countries like Australia and Canada among them.
Prince Charles use of the Māori language comes after a petition was launched to change the country’s official name to Aotearoa.

Reference came as debate rages on if the country should change name
Former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has said she uses both New Zealand and Aotearoa interchangeably, and hoped the rest of the country would follow her.
'Whether or not we change it in law I don't think changes the fact New Zealanders do increasingly refer to Aotearoa, and I think that's a transition that has been welcomed.'
However a recent poll found the majority of Kiwis want New Zealand's official name to remain the same.
Kiwis were asked, 'What do you think the country should officially be called?'.
More than half of the respondents voted to keep the name New Zealand at 58 per cent.
Others opted for Aotearoa to be in the mix at 41 per cent.
Just 9 per cent of people wanted to replace the name New Zealand entirely with Aotearoa.
A further 31 per cent wanted to see a double-barreled name - Aotearoa New Zealand.
