This hotel has the nearest walking distance to the Domestic Terminal of Phuket Airport. However, it is advisable to travel in its shuttle van from the International Terminal through Gate 5 at night to the hotel as there are no lamp posts along the road. It is less than five minutes by van transfer which is complimentary.
The room has the kettle for boiling water to drink and brush teeth. There are no bottles of mineral water, no toothbrush and toothpaste.
The hotel faces the runway at a distance of less than 1 km. It is possible to shoot photos of aircraft flying across the sea to land on the runway through the corridor window.
Hotel staff are friendly, responsive on WhatsApp and helpful on arranging trips to Mai Khao Beach, Naiyang Beach and other parts of Phuket at a fee. The taxi driver that partners with the hotel gave me discount on the return trip to Mai Khao Beach. I paid 600 Baht for the 15 to 20 minutes return trip to Mai Khao Beach plus 140 Baht for the two-minutes return motorbike taxi trip from the parking lot of Mai Khao Beach to the Mai Khao Beach Airplane Viewing Point without walking for more than 20 minutes from Naiyang Beach.
I will stay here again if I ever planned my next plane-spotting trip to Phuket.
