According to T'way Air web-site and Facebook, T'way Air plans to launch cargo/passenger flights from Incheon to Singapore Changi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang in May 2022. The specific date of inaugural flight operation on each route is not known at the meantime.

T'way Air announced on 13 April 2022 that it has signed a ULD (Unit Load Device) supply contract with Germany's Jettainer for efficient cargo transportation and management, and is preparing for international cargo transportation through the introduction of containers and pallets.

It completed the introduction of containers in March 2022 and is about to introduce pallets in May 2022.

Through this, T'way Air plans to continue strengthening its cargo business by first putting large A330-300 aircraft in areas that can fully consider passenger as well as cargo demand, such as Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang in May 2022.

T'way Air receives its first A330-300 jet in Gimpo Airport, the airport of Seoul, on 24 February 2022. It will become the second private South Korean airline to launch cargo flights to Singapore and Vietnam after Air Premia if its plans materialize.

T'way Air plans to launch long-haul flights to Singapore, Sydney, Denpasar and Zagreb, Europe with two A330-300 jets.

About ULD

ULD is a unit-loaded container for air cargo transportation, and it is an important cargo transportation method that efficiently loads various sizes and types of cargo by container, utilizes the maximum space, and secures safe operation by constantly fixing it in the cargo compartment of the aircraft. Containers and pallets are both types of ULD. Containers are used to load passengers' bags, mail, and light cargo, and pallets are used to load heavy and large cargo.

Through the use of ULD, a large amount of cargo can be loaded on board quickly and safely, and the payload can be protected from bad weather, theft and damage, and large and special cargo that cannot be transported by small and medium-sized aircraft can be transported. There are advantages.
