Harris' campaign launched an ad in August that highlighted the vice president's upbringing in hopes of attracting middle-class voters. The advertisement said that Kamala worked at McDonald's while studying at Howard University.
Trump and his allies said that was not mentioned on her resume.
Trump’s love for fast food is well known. The former president was photographed eating McDonald's on a campaign plane. In 2019, he served fast food from McDonald's, Wendy's and Burger King to college athletes visiting the White House.
"I love this job," Trump said at McDonald's on Sunday. "I'm very happy here."
