U.S. media The National File reported on Thursday that Professor of Environmental Medicine & Public Health at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City, Dr. Shanna Swan wrote a book called "How Our Modern World Is Threatening Sperm Counts, Altering Male and Female Reproductive Development, and Imperiling the Future of the Human Race". This book warns that the microplastics used to make masks against SARS-CoV-2 (CCP virus, covi, novel coronavirus) contain some toxic chemicals, including phthalates that can shrink the penises, that will cause most men to become infertile before 2045. The result is that mankind will face an existential crisis.
Dr. Swan's conclusion comes from a study by Tadele Assefa Aragaw, a chemical environmental engineering researcher. In 2020, researcher Aragaw conducted a study on microplastic pollution of surgical masks in the CCP virus epidemic. The most terrible thing is that the study found that microplastics have "toxic chemical additives, such as phthalates, organotins, etc." Nonylphenol, polybrominated diphenyl ethers and triclosan". These toxic chemicals can be released into the environment during the degradation process.
This research is included in the government archives and managed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), an institution within the National Institutes of Health.
The well-known health care website WebMD reported on Dr. Swan’s research in 2009 that boys whom mothers exposed to high levels of phthalates gave birth to were more likely to show non-masculine behaviors. Dr. Swan also found that "male human babies who have been exposed to phthalates in the womb have a shorter distance from the anus to the genitals, and this distance is related to the size of the penis." Dr. Swan's research also found that mice that have been exposed to phthalates will experience genital atrophy after birth.
According to the National File, US health officials and members of the Biden-Harris administration who support people to wear masks have not yet clearly explained to the public the impact of phthalates on male fertility and its connection with mask-wearing.
The masks produced during the CCP virus epidemic have caused alarming losses to the environment. It is estimated that 1.56 billion masks were produced in 2020. Ecological experts said that "equivalent to 4680-6240 metric tons of plastic pollution" poured into the world's oceans.
