The Airbus A380 project ushered in another milestone. The last A380 (MSN272) completed its first flight and will fly to the Finkenwerder factory in Hamburg, Germany for painting.

Two years ago, Airbus revealed that it would cancel the A380 project, and now the last A380 is expected to be delivered to Emirates next year.

At around 1 pm local time, the last A380 took off from Toulouse, took a low flight and completed a lovely wing wave, and then left the Toulouse base. The plane cruised at an altitude of 43,000 feet and landed at Hamburg Airport at about 16:10. The flight time was approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes.

Although the test flight marked the end of the Airbus A380, it is unlikely that this type of aircraft will disappear from the air in a short time. Emirates will take over the aircraft in 2022 and hopes to make good use of it before retiring. The airline previously revealed that it plans to continue to operate the A380 in the mid-2030s, and currently plans to operate the A380 in 18 cities this summer.
