Wuhan Institute of Viology recently assembled monkeypox strains using methods for creating "contagious pathogens"

According to the conservative U.S. media The National Pulse, the Wuhan Institute of Virology assembled a monkeypox virus genome, allowing the virus to be identified through PCR tests, using a method researchers flagged for potentially creating a “contagious pathogen”.

The study was first published in February 2022, just months before the latest international outbreak of monkeypox cases which appear to have spread to 16 countries in Europe, North America, Australasia and South America.

The paper, which was authored by nine Wuhan Institute of Virology researchers and published in the virus institute’s quarterly scientific journal Virologica Sinica, also follows the wide-scale use of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests to identify covid-positive individuals.

Researchers appeared to identify a portion of the monkeypox virus genome, enabling PCR tests to identify the virus, in the paper entitled Efficient Assembly of a Large Fragment of Monkeypox Virus Genome as a qPCR Template Using Dual-Selection Based Transformation-Associated Recombination.

Monkeypox viruses, referred to as “MPXVs” in the paper, have strains that are “more pathogenic and [have] been reported to infect humans in various parts of the world.”

“Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) is the gold standard for the detection of orthopoxvirus (including MPXV). For pan-orthopoxviruses detection, the E9L (DNA polymerase) gene has been shown to be an excellent target for qPCR assays. For MPXV detection, Li et al. reported that the C3L (complement-binding protein) gene could be used as the qPCR target for the MPXV Congo Basin strain,” explained the paper before noting that China lacked sufficient genetic information on the virus for PCR detection:

“Since MPXV infection has never been associated with an outbreak in China, the viral genomic material required for qPCR detection is unavailable. In this report, we employed dual-selective TAR to assemble a 55-kb MPXV genomic fragment that encompasses E9L and C3L, two valuable qPCR targets for detecting MPXV or other orthopoxviruses.”

“The primary purpose of assembling a fragment of the MPXV genome is to provide a nucleotide template for MPXV detection,” reiterated the study, which relied on the process of transformation-associated recombination (TAR) to isolate a genomic fragment of the monkeypox virus.

“As an efficient tool for assembling large DNA fragments up to 592 kb in length, TAR assembly has become essential for preparing infectious clones of large DNA/RNA viruses,” explained researchers.

The paper acknowledged that TAR “applied in viological research could also raise potential security concerns, especially when the assembled product contains a full set of genetic material that can be recovered into a contagious pathogen.”

“In this study, although a full-length viral genome would be the ideal reference template for detecting MPXV by qPCR, we only sought to assemble a 55-kb viral fragment, less than one-third of the MPXV genome. This assembly product is fail-safe by virtually eliminating any risk of recovering into an infectious virus while providing multiple qPCR targets for detecting MPXV or other orthopoxviruses,” posited researchers.

The unearthed study follows the Wuhan Institute of Virology conducting similar research into strains of bat coronaviruses that could infect humans while admitting its facilities lacked proper laboratory safety protocols.

U.S. focus on the threat of smallpox in November 2021 and smallpox vaccine Jynneos

Based on Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”) vaccine advisory committee meetings in early November 2021, the US was focused on the threat of smallpox, Precision Vaccinations wrote. On 3 November 2021, following an introduction by Pablo Sanchez, Chair of the Orthopoxvirus workgroup, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunisation Practices reviewed the two presentations focused on the smallpox vaccine Jynneos.

A few days ago, Precision Vaccinations reported that US Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (“BARDA”) exercised the first options under an existing contract to supply a freeze-dried version of the Jynneos smallpox vaccine.

And as a result of the rising number of cases, UK ministers have ordered more stocks of the smallpox vaccine.  Yesterday Daily Mail reported that Britain is stocking up on thousands of monkeypox vaccines and treatments amid fears the current spate of cases is only the tip of the iceberg.  The Government has 5,000 doses of the vaccine currently as part of a national stockpile, but has ordered a further 20,000, The Telegraph reported.

Cases have also been announced in the U.S., Spain and Portugal, making it the most widespread monkeypox outbreak to date. Canada also has suspected cases.

The WHO is convening a group of leading experts in an emergency meeting to discuss the ongoing outbreak, The Telegraph understood. One potential course of action to be raised will be whether vaccination with the smallpox vaccine made by Bavarian Nordic, known as Jynneos in the US and Imvanex in the UK.

To protect people from monkeypox, the Jynneos vaccine was approved by the U.S. FDA in 2019.  Jynneos, also known as Imvamune or Imvanex, was also approved by the European Medicines Agency in 2013 and is indicated for preventing smallpox and monkeypox disease in adults.

Imvanex was approved in 2013 in the UK to treat smallpox, but studies have since shown it is 85 per cent effective at preventing monkeypox.  It is not approved for monkeypox in the UK but health professionals can use it ‘off-label’.

Many current cases of monkeypox start with clusters of pimple-like spots on the genital area

According to the American news site Vox, the latest clusters of monkeypox cases are different from previous clusters in a few ways. For starters, the current cluster involves many infections happening concurrently beyond the African countries where the disease circulates in wild animals.

What’s also unusual about the latest cases, Vox wrote, is that many of them so far have occurred among men who have sex with men – monkeypox transmission has not previously been associated with sexual preference or intimate contact. Many of the cases are presenting with clusters of pimple-like spots in the genital area — an uncommon area for the monkeypox rash to start.

Covid injections could have damaged immune systems, facilitating emergence of other infections

Why would it now behave so differently?  Could it be that the covid injections have damaged our immune systems so that latent and other infections emerge?

Dr. Paul Alexander thinks so, “it’s early days but we have to keep an eye on this,” he wrote. Additionally, as Dr. Alexander has always argued, lockdowns and masks have damaged immune systems.  Dr. Alexander continued:

“All things possible with this and it is early and information is being gathered yet officials are unified in ‘no cause for concern’. It is not easily transmitted so something is not adding up here and CDC is on the case, so now I am very worried. This is very unusual and rare that cases (few as they may be) would be emerging this way and the question is why? More information is needed but do not count on the media and nutball talking heads to wait, learn, understand, and then talk the drivel they talk. No, it’s hype and hysteria.

“What we do know however is that the covid vaccine is subverting, outcompeting the natural innate antibodies for the antigen / spike. So, we may be looking at devastation by the vaccine themselves where immune systems are being compromised, especially for our children. For prior infections, our immune systems would tamp down and keep at bay but with the covid vaccine, they can and are emerging. We did this with these ineffective and dangerous covid vaccines.

“This is a situation where our innate [antibodies (“Abs”)] are outcompeted and cannot bind / eliminate / neutralise the covid virus and as such loses its functional capacity to eliminate/sterilise the virus, while the mRNA induced vaccinal Abs are worthless as non-neutralising themselves. Damaged innate especially with research showing that the vaccine may be subverting the Nucleocapsid protein Abs (N Abs, see Follmann et al.) response, leaves one susceptible to Covid, a range of viruses, and cancers. Ryan Cole has discussed and warned against this repeatedly. I have also. Again, I warn, that the mRNA vaccines are ineffective and dangerous.

“The key finding in the Follmann et al.’s study was that those who got the vaccine were substantially less likely to generate anti-nucleocapsid Abs (the more stable conserved protein in the virus’s core; along with other proteins such as the membrane protein, envelop protein etc.) (40% vaccine versus 93% non-vaccine).”

Existing cases of monkeypox may be linked to adverse events of covid jabs

Do not uncouple the link between the monkeypox that has emerged, albeit a small number of cases so far, to the covid injections; the evidence is bullet proof clear that the “vaccines” subvert immune response.

It may well be that we are seeing the tip of the iceberg where the Covid injections have rendered immune responses damaged and we are now susceptible to a range of prior benign pathogens or pathogens that our immune systems would have vanquished, Dr. Alexander wrote.

“The covid vaccine flattens the immune response for 2 weeks post shot and you are susceptible to Covid and many viruses / pathogens; it damages innate and acquired-adaptive immunity; SUSCEPTIBLE.”

Smallpox vaccine has the potential to re-introduce smallpox epidemics

Experts are saying the smallpox vaccine is 85% effective in monkey pox; this is NOT good news, as millions / billions are now immunocompromised from covid injections.  Additionally, the smallpox vaccine has the potential to re-introduce smallpox.

Smallpox vaccine to prevent monkeypox could cause global smallpox (variola) epidemics; “I warn, do not be that stupid, understand you have damaged the immune systems of m(b)illions with covid vaccines,” Dr. Alexander warned.

Monkeypox could be mistaken for bad cases of herpes, the virus may have spread undetected for months

Two-hundred people are being monitored for monkeypox in Massachusetts after coming into contact with the unnamed man who became the state's first confirmed case last week, a health official revealed Monday.

Dr Jennifer McQuiston, a deputy director at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said most of the exposed were healthcare workers, although a few were also "personal" contacts of the patient.

But she added it was difficult to spread monkeypox because it typically requires sustained physical touch, pointing out that many contacts are usually negative.

The infectious diseases expert revealed the tally at a briefing this afternoon, where she also warned the virus may have been spreading un-detected for months.

During the briefing experts also warned many of the recent patients had infectious skin lesions in the genital area, which could be mistaken for a bad case of herpes.

America now has one confirmed and four suspected cases of the disease — endemic to west Africa — in the global outbreak, all in men and linked to international travel. Globally, there are more than 100 cases, mostly in Europe.

200 contacts in Massachusetts monitored for monkeypox

Massachusetts was the first U.S. state to pick up the virus in a man in his 40s who had recently returned from Canada by car. Florida, New York and Utah are also probing suspected infections.

Health chiefs are alarmed by the disproportionate number of cases among gay and bisexual men, saying it may be passing between people via sex.

European health chiefs are warning the virus could become endemic on the continent if cases are not quickly found. Many are not linked to travel there.

Asked about the situation in Massachusetts, McQuiston said, "They are tracking over 200 contacts out there but the vast majority are healthcare workers.

"There are also some personal contacts, however."

Attempting to calm fears, she added, "Previous efforts show that this is not an easily transmissible virus."

Current monkeypox outbreak in the UK first reported on 7 May 2022

A virus called "monkeypox" has "spread" in 16 countries as of 23 May 2022, and the initial case was detected in the UK on 7 May. It is not completely accurate to say that it is "spread" from the perspective of conventional "infection".
For example, in the United Kingdom, there is no history of contact between different cases. The two infected people initially found in the UK had traveled to Nigeria in Africa, and medical experts determined that they may have been infected with a West African strain of monkeypox virus. A British doctor, who treated the two infected people later found out that they were also infected, was infected through contact, and the four cases recently discovered in the UK were not in the same area, and no contact was found with each other. Their connections and irrelevant travel history are very strange.

Monkeypox first found in Danish laboratory on cynomolgus monkeys imported from Singapore in 1958
Monkeypox virus has a short history. It was first discovered in the laboratory in 1958. At that time, a vaccine laboratory in Denmark imported a batch of "cynomolgus monkeys" from Singapore. These are monkeys. This kind of monkey is very common in Southeast Asia.
The laboratory staff in Denmark found that the cynomolgus monkeys had blisters, and when they checked, they found that they were infected by a virus, which was also named "monkeypox" but medical scientists do not think monkeys are the natural reservoir of the virus, but rodents in Africa. They say the exact natural host of virus origin has yet to be identified and investigated.
As for why African "rodents", such as African squirrels, sac rats, dormouse, etc., can infect monkeys in Singapore, it is a bit confusing. Medical scientists say that because the monkeypox virus, which was later discovered among these rodents in Africa, spreads between them and occasionally infects other species, including monkeys.
Monkeypox is described as a zoonotic infectious disease. Objects, animals or people with monkeypox may cause transmission and infection but according to current scientific understanding  this virus belongs to the same series as "smallpox", it is regarded as "orthopox virus" but it is not as contagious as smallpox, and according to the data reported by the BBC, "smallpox vaccine" is 85% effective in preventing monkeypox.
In response to the recent spread of the monkeypox in the UK, Professor Bauer of the University of Nottingham in the UK said that a monkeypox infected person had contact with 50 people but only 1 person was infected. He said that this shows that monkeypox is very infective.  Even so, the outbreak of this virus has also caused a large-scale infection. For example, in the UK recently, 11 new cases were found in just one day on 20 May. It is rare for this monkeypox virus but it happens.

WHO says monkeypox spread "extremely unusual"
The monkeypox virus was first infected to humans in Congo, Africa in 1970. Since then, there have been an average of thousands of infected people in Africa every year, which shows that the virus is still dangerous. The virus has not exploded outside Africa for a long time, but now, that has changed. Since 7 May 2022, the monkeypox virus is considered to be the first time that there has been widespread community transmission outside of Africa, and it has spread in such a wide area as Europe, the United States, Australia, and the Middle East.
It is not known whether it will spread to a wider area and the exact number of confirmed cases, that have aroused the vigilance of the world's medical institutions. The World Health Organization said that as of 21 May, they had received a total of 92 confirmed cases in more than a dozen countries, and 28 suspected cases. The number of suspected cases has increased with Greece and Argentina affected.
The scary thing about the monkeypox epidemic is that it is multi-faceted and wide-ranging. It does not appear in one area, but in just half a month, "monkeypox" infected people have been found in different countries on half the world. The WHO said it was an "atypical" and highly unusual event, saying they would expand surveillance to include countries with no history of infection with the monkeypox virus, and more infections are expected to appear.

Continue to wear masks to prevent monkeypox infection
The United States had its first confirmed case on May 18, including the most prosperous New York City, where there were also suspected cases. The New York City Department of Health announced on 20 May 2022 that their public health laboratory tested two suspected patients who were under medical observation and found that one was not monkeypox and was ruled out, while the other was "orthopox virus, but not the "monkeypox" in "orthopox", which is still being researched and has to wait for the CDC to confirm it. Because monkeypox is very similar to chickenpox, it is difficult for a typical laboratory to tell the difference, and screening needs to be done in a laboratory that can handle dangerous pathogens.
Well, at the same time, in the above announcement, the New York Department of Health also called on people to continue to wear masks, saying that it is also helpful to prevent monkeypox, because monkeypox can be transmitted through droplets. In addition, skin wounds, eyes, mouth, or sexual activity, or wearing the clothes of an infected person, etc., may cause infection.

U.S. orders 10 million doses of monkeypox vaccine, suspects monkeypox virus has undergone surprising mutations
On 22 May 2022, the White House of the United States also made a statement, declaring that the "monkeypox epidemic" is an event that everyone should pay attention to, and health officials in the United States are studying vaccines and treatments. The U.S. government has ordered several million doses of a smallpox vaccine (Jynneos) from a Danish vaccine manufacturer (Bavarian Nordic) for $119 million, which is also the world’s only FDA-approved smallpox for preventing smallpox and monkeypox. There are also plans to purchase an additional 13 million doses, worth $180 million. These moves are huge. Now the monkeypox virus epidemic outside Africa is just on the rise. The United States has already put on such a posture, indicating that it is to prevent a potential monkeypox pandemic. However, apart from preventive vaccines, there is currently no specific treatment for monkeypox virus in humans.
However, according to the monkeypox virus that people have known in the past, the level of terror is not serious. To put it simply, it is similar to chickenpox, with rashes and blisters, and then it will heal in two to three weeks. Of course, it will also cause death in severe cases. Other symptoms include fever, headache, back pain, flesh aches, fatigue, etc. The most obvious one is a disgusting rash on the body. That's pretty much it.

However, it might be a little different now. According to some latest analysis in the United States, the monkeypox virus this time has changed a lot compared to the previous one. There are 94 nucleotides and 51 amino acid changes in the virus, and monkeypox is a DNA virus, and it is not easy to mutate, but this time the mutation is very violent. Some analysts have linked the epidemic of monkeypox in many countries to the mutation of its virus. However, this statement is not yet completely certain. Because on 21 May 2022, the results of three research groups in Portugal, Belgium and the United States showed that the monkeypox virus did not seem to mutate significantly, and it seemed to belong to the same family as the monkeypox virus in West Africa, and It is said that this monkeypox virus is relatively "mild".

On 24 May 2022, Portuguese virologists, tasked with conducting covi-like studies to trace the virus's evolution, claim the strain currently circulating is very similar to one that cropped up in Britain four years ago but samples taken from a handful of patients struck down in the fresh outbreak suggest the virus has collated an extra 50 mutations.

Researchers wrote that this was "far more than one would expect considering the estimated substitution rate for orthopoxviruses". They also warned that an "evolutionary jump" — like with the Omicron variant — may have created a 'hyper-mutated virus'.

Meanwhile, in 2021, the Danish manufacturer of the smallpox vaccine, which is also effective against monkeypox, warned outbreaks were becoming more frequent. It claimed it could be down to the virus's "genetic evolution".

Dr Joana Isidro and colleagues analysed nine genome sequences of monkeypox, gathered from patients infected with the virus during the latest outbreak.

The researchers calculated the virus is closely related to the same West African strain that was exported from Nigeria to Britain, Israel and Singapore in 2018 and 2019.

However, each virus had 50 extra mutations, on average, compared to the cases detected in previous outbreaks, the pre-print states.

This is "far more than one would expect" based on the number of changes expected for orthopox viruses, a family of viruses that also includes smallpox but not chickenpox.

Their findings, which suggest the cases all stem from a "single origin", have yet to be examined by other scientists.

Viruses constantly mutate and most versions of viruses are not of concern. DNA-based viruses such as monkeypox tend to evolve slower.

Dr Emilia Skirmuntt, a virologist at Oxford University, said some sequences contain multiple mutations and deletions. She noted that experts previously believed these could increase human-to-human transmission of the virus.

The spread of monkeypox is wide-ranging, NTI mysterious report last year, amazing "prophecy"
More than a dozen different monkeypox transmission chains have been discovered around the world. That is to say, it does not spread from a single point. Rather, it spreads in more ways. According to the current WHO data, the mortality rate of this monkeypox virus is temporarily found to be between 3% and 6%. At present, this mutated monkeypox virus is still spreading. Sweden, Greece, Italy in Europe, and Israel in the Middle East, etc., have  seen mysterious emergence of monkeypox recently. Therefore, what this virus will bring to human beings, whether it is a false alarm or a worrying development, many medical institutions are still paying attention to this situation.
However, the most strange thing about this monkeypox virus epidemic is not the above. In March 2021, an international organization called NTI, at the security conference in Munich, Germany, conducted a simulated "war game" that may obtain more terrible consequences of human-to-human transmission after a virus is mutated or artificially modified. The purpose proposed at that time was to “strengthen global epidemic prevention cooperation”, and the deduction process was also written into the report. The online link of this report is still valid. The virus that was used for deductions at that time was the "monkeypox" virus that was currently circulating. Thinking about it now is a bit incredible, or sensational, no matter how you describe it, it is deduced from "monkeypox", and there are other "coincidences".
For example, in the report, NTI postulated that a country named "Brinia" was the first to have a new version of the monkeypox virus, which was released by some terrorists and caused a global pandemic. This "Brinia", which is now generally recognized, refers to Britain, the United Kingdom.
News (16)
NTI reports "simulation game" in which monkeypox spreads and infects 3.2 billion people
The epidemic of monkeypox virus started with the first case detected in the UK on 7 May 2022. In the NTI deduction report, four stages were also set up. During the first stage, the release of the virus was done by the so-called "terrorists", is 15 May 2022, which is very close to the date when the infection first appeared in the UK. This first stage ends on 5 June 2022.
The NTI report forecasts monkeypox will cause 1421 infections in the UK, of which 4 people will die but the deduction report does not mention this stage of monkeypox virus. It will spread to more countries, but at present, monkeypox has appeared in many countries.
The second stage in the report is 10 January 2023, at which time monkeypox is predicted to infect 70 million people in 83 countries, 1.3 million of whom will die, and mentions that the circulating monkeypox virus is artificially modified and resistant to vaccines.
Then the third stage in the deduction is 10 May 2023, when 480 million people in the world are infected and 27 million people die, and it is already known at this moment that the terrorist organization infiltrated the biological laboratory. The last stage is 1 December 2023, when 3.2 billion people worldwide are infected and 270 million people die, at which point the game ends. According to the report, the spread is suppressed through so-called global cooperation.
News (17)
NTI concerned about the threat of nuclear weapons and biological weapons
However this report, why the monkeypox was selected, and it is so close to the current reality that the monkeypox virus started in the UK in May, which is very similar to what the report said. The agency that wrote the report, NTI, whose name is an acronym for the Nuclear Threat Initiative, as the name suggests, is primarily concerned with the threat of nuclear weapons to humanity but at the same time, it is also concerned with the threat of "biological weapons". Moreover, the people in this organization are not shrimp soldiers and crab generals, but many professionals are involved.
Therefore, this NTI report has cast a bit of a "conspiracy theory" colour on the spread of the monkeypox virus. As for whether it is a real conspiracy, the follow-up development of this monkeypox epidemic will give us the answer.

"007" movie in reality, the smallpox virus has not been destroyed, and the United States has been on guard
The movie "007 No Time To Die" (007: No Time to Die), which will be released in 2021, is about a group of terrorists trying to release a virus to bring a devastating blow to mankind. In the end, Daniel Craig starred in the movie. In the corner of 007, at the last critical moment, he sacrificed his life and asked the military to bombard the virus production base with missiles to completely destroy the terrorists' plot. He was there at the time and chose to die together. This is also Daniel Craig's 007 curtain call. And now this NTI report, and the reality of the spread of monkeypox virus, are intertwined, as if putting us in a sci-fi movie.
In fact, in the real world, preventing terrorists from acquiring dangerous viruses is a long-standing thing. For example, after the 9/11 incident in 2001, the United States once vigorously promoted smallpox vaccination because of fears that terrorists would use the "smallpox" virus, which is very close to monkeypox, to carry out biological weapons attacks.
Tens of thousands of civilians have been vaccinated against smallpox. At present, the smallpox vaccine is still under research. The WHO's decision to completely destroy the smallpox virus has also been pushed again and again on the grounds of this vaccine research.

People born after the 1980s have never been vaccinated against smallpox
Some friends may ask, aren't we all vaccinated against smallpox? In fact, many people born after the 1980s, including many viewers in front of our screens, may not have been vaccinated against smallpox. The disease is tuberculosis ("TB").
As for "smallpox", the WHO declared the virus "extinct" as early as 1980, and it is no longer popular. Subsequently, many countries stopped producing and inoculating smallpox vaccines. The existing viruses are kept in the laboratory for vaccine research. For fear of being stolen by the bad guys, the WHO originally planned to completely destroy the smallpox virus in 1999, but it was later postponed and it may be re-postponed.

Taiwan's participation in the WHA proposal was refuted by the Mainland Affairs Council: Due to the arrogant obstruction of the other side

Reporter : Chen Yufu / https://news.ltn.com.tw/news/politics/breakingnews/3936627 /Image : The MAC stated today that the failure of this proposal to be included in the WHA agenda is entirely due to the arrogant obstruction of the other side. The CCP has overridden the human rights of health with wrong political propositions, and the government expresses strong protest. (file photo)

Taiwan's proposal to participate in the World Health Assembly (WHA) was rejected today. The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of China declared that the "one China principle" is a general consensus of the international community. The MAC stated that the failure of this proposal to be included in the WHA agenda is entirely due to the arrogant obstruction of the other side. The CCP has overridden the human rights of health with wrong political propositions, and the government expresses strong protest.

Zhu Fenglian, a spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said that since the outbreak of the COVID-19 outbreak, China has invited Taiwanese health experts to visit Wuhan, Hubei Province, and shared more than 50 technical documents; so far, Taiwan has been notified of the outbreak about 400 times, including Taiwan residents diagnosed in China.
.
Zhu Fenglian claimed that China "highly attaches great importance" to the health and well-being of Taiwanese people and that Taiwan's "channels for obtaining various information and support for epidemic prevention and control are completely smooth and effective." The DPP government "distorts and negates the '92 Consensus' that embodies the one-China principle, undermines the political basis for cross-strait consultations, and leads to the disappearance of the political basis for Taiwan's participation in the WHA."

In this regard, the MAC today solemnly protested against the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their representatives who made inappropriate speeches at the World Health Assembly and obstructed my participation in the case.

The MAC stated that the Republic of China is a sovereign country, and Taiwan has never belonged to the People's Republic of China in history, international law and cross-strait reality. Our government expresses strong dissatisfaction.

The MAC stressed that Taiwan's achievements in public health are obvious to all, and it is willing to contribute and participate in the international community, which is the long-term expectation of the whole people. In the face of the current severe global epidemic, the CCP authorities still use wrong political propositions to override the "human rights to health", and even falsely claim to take care of the health and well-being of the Taiwanese people and make proper arrangements, which is completely distorting the facts, and even more contempt and serious damage. The Taiwanese people's right to health and the interests of global public health do not contribute to the positive interaction between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.

The MAC pointed out that the Beijing authorities have undermined the rules of the international order and attempted to link the UNGA and WHO resolutions incorrectly with the "one China principle". At present, the relevant governments, congresses, and international organizations have all supported my participation in the WHA, and Taiwan's inclusion in the global public health system has become a consensus among democratic countries. In the future, the government will continue to make unremitting efforts and continue to actively seek friendly international support and jointly respond to the challenges of the global epidemic.

Why Taiwan was absent from the first Indo-Pacific economic framework

Xie Jinhe, chairman of Taiwan Caixin Media, posted on Facebook on 23 May 2022 to analyze the possible reasons why Taiwan was absent from the first round of the Indo-Pacific economic framework, pointing out that Taiwan had to wait for the next. The CCP is out of the circle, and it depends on how it takes over. Taiwanese businessmen investing in China are bound to have greater changes in the future.

Xie Jinhe posted on Facebook on 23 May "Why was Taiwan absent from the first round of the Indo-Pacific economic structure? ” The hottest news on 23 May is that the United States announced the 13 founding members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF). Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei, Philippines and India.

He said the list includes 11 countries originally under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), as well as seven countries in the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) led by Japan. The only difference is the United States. Use a bigger net to frame these countries together, and the CCP is locked out.

"Taiwan was not included in the list of founding members in the first round," he said. As expected, on the one hand, the United States may not want to stimulate the CCP too much. On the other hand, Taiwan may have to start thinking about the future world economy and how to choose the right side. stand.

White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on the 22nd that Taiwan was not included in the Indo-Pacific economic structure promoted by the Biden administration, but stressed that the United States is seeking to deepen its economic partnership with Taiwan. He also reiterated that the US hopes for peace across the Taiwan Strait and is not happy to see a unilateral change in the status quo.

Xie Jinhe said that in recent years, from the trade war between the United States and China, to the technological war, to the financial war, many small and medium-sized enterprises have left their production bases in China, which can be seen from the decline in revenue of Taiwan's Compal, Quanta and other companies in April.

He pointed out that now Apple has taken the lead in stating that the next major production bases will be in Vietnam and India. It is foreseeable that in the next ten to twenty years, ASEAN and India will become the next production bases. Since 1990, Taiwanese businessmen have always been known for their speed and efficiency. Now small Taiwanese businessmen move fast, and it seems difficult for large Taiwanese businessmen to break free.

This time, Biden's first trip to Asia is to visit South Korea. He said that the most important thing is that South Korea has moved from Moon Jae-in's pro-communist line to Yoon Suk-yeol's pro-American line. Samsung has been suppressed in the past, but now it is resurrected again. Biden's first stop is Samsung. This is the United States to stabilize the semiconductor industry. important step. As a result, the world's important semiconductor settlements, from TSMC and below, are all under the US camp.

Biden was in South Korea for three days, followed by Japan. He said that this is the most important alliance between the United States and Japan since Eisenhower's visit to Japan in 1960. In addition to announcing the Indo-Pacific economic framework, there is also an important Quadrilateral Talks (QUAD), in addition to the United States, Japan and India, who have just been elected Antony Albanese, the chairman of the Australian Labor Party, announced that he would not change the anti-communist road line as soon as he took office. The future role of this four-party talks may be very important.

He said that the U.S. took the lead in conveying the message through U.S. Security Adviser Sullivan, and had to wait for the next round. Biden's Asian trip brought out these big dishes. Next, we will see how the CCP will take up the trick? Taiwanese businessmen have been cultivating China for 30 years, and there are bound to be greater changes in the future.

General economist Wu Jialong posted on Facebook on 23 May that Biden came to Asia for the first time after taking office. His first stop was to choose South Korea to support the pro-American line of the new president Yoon Suk-yeol. Before Biden's trip to Asia, he held talks with the leaders of ten Southeast Asian countries in Washington. He will also hold the "Quartet Security Dialogue" in Japan, and will hold talks with the Indian Prime Minister.

Wu Jialong pointed out that the United States wants to promote the decoupling of manufacturing from China. Southeast Asia and India have a large enough labor force to replace China's supply chain, but they still need to make efforts in infrastructure, labor education and training. The redeployment of the supply chain to replace China requires a process, and one of the important operators is Taiwan. He also pointed out that for the United States to promote the Indo-Pacific strategy, maintain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, and maintain a rules-based international order, a key area is Taiwan.

He said that the United States is very busy in Asia, and has to take into account geopolitical security and economic security, and all the things it is busy with are related to Taiwan. Without Taiwan, the U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy and Indo-Pacific economic structure would be hollowed out. With or without official status, Taiwan is the top priority. However, Taiwan's layout in the United States is very low-key. This point, Taiwan is well aware of, there is no need to worry.

The US official revealed that Taiwan was not included in the IPEF in the first round. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China expressed regret on the 22nd that Taiwan plays a key role in the global supply chain and is absolutely eligible to participate in the IPEF. US Secretary of State Blinken also emphasized that the IPEF is open and inclusive. In the future, Taiwan will continue to actively strive for participation.

The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework was officially established, Biden again mentioned force to defend Taiwan

On 23 May 2022, US President Biden officially launched the "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework" in Japan, and 13 countries including the US, Japan, South Korea, India and Australia became the first members. In response to the Taiwan issue that day, Biden said that if the CCP attacked by force, the United States would intervene militarily.

On 23 May, the first round of US President Biden's Asian tour ushered in the highlight. On the same day, Biden, accompanied by Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officially announced the establishment of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF).

US President Joe Biden declared, "We're setting new rules for the 21st century economy."

The 13 founding members of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework include South Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, and 7 Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, and Vietnam) in addition to the United States and Japan. The combined GDP of these countries accounts for 40% of the global economy.

According to a White House press release, the IPEF has four pillars, which are:

1. A highly digitally connected economy;
2. A resilient supply chain;
3. Clean economy;
4. Fair economy;

Current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan said, "The IPEF emphasizes values and rules as the core. It is not the traditional agreement on tariffs, trade access, etc. in the past. Biden's current thinking is to maximize the use of values and rules to strip away the CCP’s economic influence in the Indo-Pacific region and expand the U.S. circle of allies and friends.”

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida declared, "Japan will cooperate with the United States to persuade them to live up to their responsibilities and abide by international rules when facing the CCP."

Taiwan was not included in the first 13 founding members. In this regard, Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed regret and said that it will actively strive for participation in the future.

Tang Hao, an international affairs commentator: "The United States does not include Taiwan in order to avoid irritating the CCP too much. It also wants to play down the political color that member states must choose sides between the United States and China, so as to win more Southeast Asian countries to join; Framework) requires members to join as a 'country', which will involve Taiwan's legal status and increase complexity, so the US side temporarily bypasses this sensitive dispute and establishes the entire framework first."

Another major focus of Biden's trip to Asia is regional security. On 23 May, at the US-Japan summit, Biden once again stated that if the CCP invades Taiwan by force, the US will intervene militarily to defend Taiwan.

Reporter asked, "If it really gets to this point, are you willing to intervene militarily to defend Taiwan?"

US President Biden answered, "Yes. (Are you sure?) This is a promise we made."

This is not the first time Biden has made it clear that he will protect Taiwan. He made similar statements in August and October last year.

The CCP Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed dissatisfaction and opposition to Biden's latest remarks, while Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere welcome.

Ou Jiangan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere welcome and gratitude to President Biden and the U.S. government for reaffirming their rock-solid commitment to Taiwan."

Tang Hao, an international affairs commentator said, "Although Biden has revealed for the third time that the US's trump card is to send troops to intervene in the Taiwan Strait, this military card is not to create war, but to deter the CCP not to easily invade Taiwan and let the Taiwan Strait continue. Maintaining the status quo is in the best interest of the United States and other countries. In essence, it does not deviate from the original policy spirit of the United States, which is to 'stop the war before the war'."

On 24 May, Biden will also attend the US-Japan-India-Australia "Quad Security Summit" (QUAD) in Japan. Anthony Albanese, who has just become Australia's new prime minister, will also come to the meeting. As the leader of the Labor Party, Albanese is considered to continue the tough stance of the previous Australian government on its China policy.

Biden promises to protect Taiwan by force. Analyst: Not a slip of the tongue

Image : U.S. President Biden said during his visit to Japan on the 23rd that if CCP China launches armed aggression, the United States will use force to defend Taiwan militarily, which is the clearest assurance the United States has made to Taiwan in decades. (Reuters)

U.S. President Biden said during his visit to Japan on the 23rd that if China launches armed aggression, the United States will use force to defend Taiwan militarily. Hot discussions aside, some analysts believe that this statement is not a "slip" or "slip of the tongue" but that Biden does tend to order some kind of intervention.

According to a Reuters report, US President Biden's first trip to Asia revealed that if CCP China attacks Taiwan, the U.S. will intervene militarily. Some critics believe that when politicians say what they really mean, there are "gaps", and some people think that Biden only said that he would intervene militarily but there is no formal security guarantee and it will accelerate China's actions against Taiwan.

Analysts believe that Biden has made similar speeches before, showing that Biden personally tends to order some kind of intervention but is still ambiguous about what the intervention is. David Sacks, a member of the US Council on Foreign Relations, believes that Biden has rich foreign policy experience. When he made these remarks, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was next to him, and the war of Russia's invasion of Ukraine has not yet subsided. David says, "I believe this is not a slip of the tongue."

Daniel Russel, a former assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs at the U.S. State Department during the Obama administration, believes that Biden firmly believes that the United States should respond to CCP military aggression against Taiwan but what exactly that means, and what the U.S. defense commitment to Taiwan is, remains ambiguous.

U.S. prices continue to rise, the economy is the most concerned issue in the mid-term elections

Reporters : Li Lan, Steve Lance / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/05/22/a103435799.html

The midterm elections in November this year will affect the future direction of US policy. Polls show that economic issues are the most concerned by voters. At present, the U.S. inflation rate remains high, and the sustained economic recovery is under severe pressure and challenges.

The latest consumer price index report released by the U.S. Department of Labor showed that U.S. inflation fell slightly from 8.5% to 8.3% in April, but it was still close to the highest price surge in 40 years.

Rep. Buddy Carter, member of the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee, said, "It's policy that caused this, and it can only be solved by (adjusting) policy. But the truth is, elections have consequences, policy has consequences, and now we're suffering from Biden Consequences of administration and Democratic policies."

US Congressman Jim Jordan believes that wrong energy policy is the most important factor leading to high inflation and high prices.

U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan said, "Energy drives it all, and when you drive up the cost of gasoline, you drive up the cost of energy, you drive up all other commodities (prices) because things have to be transported, they have to be moved. This term The administration doesn't seem to understand this; but even if they do, the left, which now controls the Democrats, won't let Biden do the right thing, which is to open up the Keystone pipeline, allow the federal lease of more land, and do more on it Drill."

The Wall Street Journal report believes that inflation data in the United States in April is again high, which may continue to prompt the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates by at least half a percentage point. The Fed has raised interest rates twice so far this year.

U.S. Congressman Buddy Carter said that raising interest rates by the Federal Reserve not only makes it more expensive for Americans to borrow money, but it is also a heavy burden on government finances. Currently, the U.S. government debt has exceeded $30 trillion for the first time.

Rep. Buddy Carter, member of the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee: "It hurts the government too, remember, because of the size of our federal debt, a half percent increase in interest costs us $29 billion. That's $29 billion. Really, we're going to leave our children and grandchildren with $30 trillion in debt. This is stealing from our children."

Biden said the current price crisis is temporary. However, tackling high inflation has become a top priority for the Biden-Harris administration. It is reported that the Biden administration is considering reducing or canceling punitive tariffs on China to relieve the flames.

Rep. Buddy Carter, member of the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee: "China is not our competitor and adversary, they are our enemy, and we must keep that in mind."

One of the top concerns ahead of the November midterm elections is the economy, according to a Monmouth University poll released on 12 May 2022. In addition, four in five Americans (79%) believe that the United States is currently on the wrong track.

Shanghai Huixianju successfully "unblocked" many communities followed up (video)

Editor : Jing Zhongming / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/05/23/a103436490.html / Image : On 22 May 2022, after the residents of Shanghai Huixianju Community "unblocked themselves", they rushed to the nearby street office to "discuss opinions". (Screenshot of web video)

Shanghai's brutal lockdown for two months, citizens who have suffered from the lockdown have resisted. After protesting, residents of Huixianju Community in Xuhui District announced that they would "unblock on their own." It was reported on the Internet that several communities in Xuhui District and Jing'an District began to follow up.

On 23 May, a video (link) of the residents of Huixianju Community announcing their "self-unblocking" was circulated online. A woman shouted with a loudspeaker in her hand that Huixianju Community was already a prevention zone, and there were no positive infected persons, which met the official Shanghai unblocking standards, so she announced that she would "unblock itself" and "free access" from now on. Residents cheered and celebrated.

The Twitter users who shared the video also tweeted that residents of several communities in Xuhui District and Jing'an District have begun to "unblock themselves", and this "self-solving" movement is fermenting in Shanghai. The netizen followed the same tweet and uploaded several videos of community residents "unblocking themselves" or fighting with the neighborhood committee.

Huixianju, the first to announce "self-unblocking", belongs to a middle-to-high-end community in Xuhui District. According to online news, there are many foreigners in the community, and many foreigners are unwilling to cooperate with the authorities' brutal ban. Not long ago, the government wanted to install isolation panels in the community, but it also gave up because of strong opposition from foreigners.

According to online sources, Huixian Residence has already met the official unblocking standards, but the neighborhood committee still does not issue exit permits and locks the gate of the community with iron chains. In the afternoon of 22 May, residents of the community began to communicate with each other on WeChat and wanted to go downstairs to "discuss what to say." Under the leadership of foreigners, they gathered at the gate of the community and asked to open the door. Neighborhood committee members had to open the door for fear of a "riot". Hundreds of residents flocked out to celebrate "finally letting themselves out". (Related video link)

Residents who rushed out of the community then walked to the sub-district office on Hunan Road to "discuss" and demanded that the lockdown be lifted. The staff of the street office claimed that someone went out of the cabin and returned to the community on the 19th. At the same time, the residents of the community did not perform 100% nucleic acid testing and did not meet the unsealing standards. However, the street office could not produce the relevant official documents requested by the residents.

The resident representative accused the grass-roots officials of an unreasonable measure of "self-improving", and gave an ultimatum to the street office to either show government documents on the morning of the 23rd, or issue exit permits to residents. If neither of the two can be done, the residents of the community will unblock themselves and come in and out freely.

On the Internet, many netizens praised the protest of the Shanghai people. However, some netizens worry that this move may lead to a crackdown by the CCP military and police.

Launching the "Hong Kong version of 709", the Hong Kong National Security Office complained about the "6.12" fund lawyers

The National Security Division of the Hong Kong Police recently filed a complaint with the Law Society of Hong Kong about a lawyer who had provided legal aid for the "6.12" Humanitarian Support Fund under the pretext of so-called "professional misconduct". The Law Society confirmed that this was the case and said an investigation had been launched, and those who violated the law could be disqualified from practice in the most serious way. Current commentators believe that this move by the National Security Department may be the beginning of the arrest of the "Hong Kong version of 709".

A few days ago, some Hong Kong media reported that they had obtained information from the Hong Kong police that some lawyers and barristers who had provided legal services for the "6.12" Humanitarian Support Fund were suspected of so-called "professional misconduct" and have been filed with the Law Society by the Hong Kong National Security Department. , while dozens of people were complained.

After the news was released, it immediately aroused widespread concern from all walks of life. Chen Zeming, president of the Hong Kong Law Society, confirmed at a press conference on Monday (May 23) that the Hong Kong Law Society has received complaints from the Hong Kong National Security Office against some lawyers and is investigating the allegations.

Chen Zeming said that during the investigation of the "6.12" Foundation case, the National Security Division of the Police Force found that lawyers and barristers were "suspected of professional misconduct" when providing legal services, and they filed a complaint with the Law Society. This is the first time the Law Society has received a complaint from the National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force since its establishment.

He said that the relevant investigation needs to be kept confidential, and the number and specific content of the complaints cannot be disclosed. If the complaint is established, the lawyer will make corresponding penalties according to the severity of the violation.

"Generally speaking, we will leave it to an independent three-person team to study," Chen Zeming said. "The lightest thing is for us to send a letter to remind the respondent of the mistakes or possible violations, if it is really serious. , it can be referred to an independent tribunal other than the Law Society to decide whether there is a real violation, and the most serious case can really be delisted (revocation of practicing qualifications).

In this regard, current affairs commentator Sump said bluntly in an interview with Radio Free Asia: "I think this is the Hong Kong version of the '709' incident."

Samp, who is also a lawyer himself, pointed out that the police's liquidation of the Hong Kong legal profession was the first step in launching the "Hong Kong version of 709". Hong Kong's National Security Department prosecuted the lawyers who assisted the protesters in 2019 by complaining to the Law Society, which "is definitely a crime". They want to revoke all the lawyers who have helped the "6.12" Foundation. Green license, "so the focus is not on money, the focus is on people".

Samp said that based on the experience of the "709" case, the target of the liquidation is not only the lawyers who assist the rights defenders, but also the lawyers who assist the arrested lawyers will be affected. He worries that the Chinese government will apply a series of practices they have adopted in mainland China to Hong Kong.

Samp also reminded that the "6.12" fund not only provides legal assistance to the protesters, but also provides medical and psychological counseling services. He is worried that the Hong Kong government will use the "6.12" fund as an introduction to extend its suppression to Hong Kong. Different layers of society have achieved the effect of changing blood for Hong Kong.

China National Immigration Administration: Suspension of passports and document clipping are false

In response to recent rumors on the Internet that Chinese citizens' entry and exit documents have been "cut corners" for no reason, Liu Haitao, director of the Border Inspection and Management Department of the National Immigration Administration, responded in Beijing on 23 May 2022 that after verification, online related "stop passports, cut corners of foreign residence documents", including the green card” rumours are fake news.

The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council of China held a press conference on the same day to introduce the relevant situation of epidemic prevention and control. During the press conference, Liu Haitao took the online rumor that "the passport and residence card of France were taken away when leaving the country at Hongqiao Airport in Shanghai" as an example. Shanghai Hongqiao Airport has suspended all international flights including to France since 25 March 2020. Therefore, the time, place and reason of the relevant rumours are all fabricated.

In addition, he cited Zhang, a resident of Guangzhou, who, without verification, based on hearsay, fabricated false information about others "entering from Beijing, and their passports were cut for no reason", and published them through online platforms; etc., pointed out that the immigration management agency has never cut the corners of residence permits issued by foreign countries, including green cards. The above rumours have absolutely no factual basis, and the relevant responsible persons have been dealt with by the public security organs in accordance with the law.

Liu Haitao emphasized that in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, when the immigration management agency examines and issues the entry-exit certificate of the party according to the application, or when the entry-exit border inspection agency finds that the Chinese entry-exit certificate held by the party has been declared invalid according to the law, it will be invalid. The documents of the afflicted are "cut corners" to prevent them from being used by criminals and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties in accordance with the law. It is also a common practice in many countries in the world to "cut the corners" of invalid documents. For a long time, the national immigration management agency has issued and managed entry-exit documents in accordance with the law, conscientiously fulfilled the duties of entry-exit border inspection, further promoted the standardization of law enforcement, effectively safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese and foreign entry-exit personnel, promoted foreign exchanges, and facilitated opening to the outside world.

"In the next step, we will give full play to the functional role of immigration management agencies, and take further effective measures to provide better quality immigration management services for the vast number of entry and exit personnel. We welcome all sectors of society to supervise our work." Liu Haitao said.

How difficult is it for Chinese people to leave the country? Immigration Administration: Do not exit if non-essential non-emergency

Reporter : Luo Tingting / Editor: Wen Hui / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/05/24/a103436854.html / Image : Security personnel check passengers' passports at a train station in Wuhan, Hubei, 27 March 2020. (Noel Celis/AFP via Getty Images)

In the afternoon of 23 May 2022, an official from the National Immigration Administration of the Communist Party of China said that due to the need for epidemic prevention, citizens would not leave the country "unnecessarily or urgently". Individuals are not encouraged to travel abroad to visit relatives as well. This means it is even more difficult for Chinese to go abroad.

Liu Haitao, director of the border inspection and management department of the National Immigration Administration of the Communist Party of China, said at a press conference on the same day that considering the higher risks and uncertainties of international travel during the epidemic prevention and control period, try to avoid "non-essential and non-emergency" travel.

In this regard, some netizens ridiculed, "Wouldn't it be better not to let people go back to China? The more people go, the lower the domestic risk, isn't it normal?"

Prior to this, social media had circulated that the CCP restricted the entry and exit of citizens, suspended passports, and even had many people’s passports and green cards cut off, causing widespread concern. Netizens exclaimed, "The seclusion of the country has really begun." "China has already locked the country, and even students who want to go abroad to study are not allowed to leave with their passports."

Regarding the above rumours, the National Immigration Administration of the Communist Party of China refuted the rumours on 13 May, saying that "suspending passports" and "prohibiting exiting the country by cutting corners of green cards" are all false news, but it stipulates that domestic personnel "do not leave the country unless necessary and not urgently."

According to the official WeChat account of the National Immigration Administration of the Communist Party of China, on 10 May 2022, the party group meeting of the Immigration Administration ordered, "Strictly implement strict and strict entry and exit policies, strictly restrict non-essential exit activities of Chinese citizens, and strictly enforce entry and exit documents. Approval and issue."

An unnamed study abroad agency with offices in the U.S. and China told Radio Free Asia that, given the current exit control, it is difficult for students to apply for passports in the name of studying abroad. "Travel is restricted here, and passport control is more stringent now."

Chen Daoyin, a Chinese political scientist, told the BBC that such a policy must have something to do with the 20th National Congress.

"If the foreign defense input cannot be controlled and the domestic epidemic cannot be controlled, it will inevitably impact Xi Jinping's dynamic anti-epidemic decision, which will inevitably affect the legitimacy of his re-election to the 20th National Congress, or his political achievements." Chen Daoyin said.

Xie Tian, a professor at the Aiken School of Business at the University of South Carolina, told NTDTV that the authorities are not only limited to investment immigration, but also to restrict citizens' travel, mainly to stop the loss of foreign exchange.

"Because of the shortage of foreign exchange, the shrinking of exports, and the reduction of the surplus, it must ensure enough foreign exchange to bring it imports, such as food, energy, medical and medical products. So now it has cut off all channels that may consume foreign exchange." Xie Tian said.

He Jiangbing, a Chinese financial scholar, also believes that the authorities are now strictly controlling citizens leaving the country. The bigger reason is that the economic downturn and epidemic control have made China's exports insufficient. These have led to insufficient foreign exchange reserves. The authorities want to cut off the way citizens go abroad to exchange foreign currency.

He told Radio Free Asia that restricting exits is to reduce foreign exchange consumption from an economic and financial perspective, and China's foreign exchange is now tense. Due to the economic downturn, the decrease in exports, and the zero-covid policy, China's own exports have also been greatly affected, so foreign exchange reserves will be reduced. "The foreign exchange reserves cannot be maintained, nor the RMB exchange rate."

French commentator Wang Longmeng believes that there are indeed economic reasons for the CCP government to strictly control citizens leaving the country but the CCP has achieved comprehensive social control through epidemic control, which will inevitably lead to large-scale protests.

"You can imagine where China will go when it is closed to the country and isolated from the civilized world. Either the public becomes a mindless slave, or there is a large-scale protest for basic freedoms. The Chinese (communist) government will control these totalitarians. Practice pays the price." Wang Longmeng said.
