The domestic epidemic situation is severe, and the demand for rapid screening has greatly increased. The founder of Hon Hai, Guo Taiming, personally invested in the domestic "home PCR" testing equipment manufactured by Fujia Biotechnology. Recently, it is reported that he has applied for an emergency use authorization (EUA) to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, hoping to enter the household market. The Food and Drug Administration confirmed at night of 20 May 2022.

The Food and Drug Administration announced that it has passed the EUA of 3 SARS-CoV-2 (covi) nucleic acid detection products of Fujia Biotechnology today, including the iCareDx SARS-CoV-2 At-Home Nucleic Acid Test Kit (Nasal), the iCareDx At-Home Nucleic Acid Quality Control Kit, and iCareDx Real-Time PCR can be manufactured and sold with emergency use authorization until the day when the command center is disbanded.

Lin Xinhui, Jian Ren Jizheng of the Medical Cosmetics Department of the Food and Drug Administration, said that the Fujia product that has passed the EUA today is the first domestically produced "home PCR" testing instrument, not a quick screening reagent. This is a household PCR tester that has obtained the Republic of China's EUA. This instrument is a household version. In the future, Fujia can be sold in general pharmacies, and the public can take PCR tests at home.

As for the outside world concerned about whether the saliva machine invested by Terry Gou has passed the EUA, the Food and Drug Administration has already approved the EUA of the professional version of the saliva machine in 2021. As for the rumored household version of the saliva machine, so far the Food and Drug Administration has not received application documents.

NUG to sell off more Junta properties

Myanmar’s civilian National Unity Government’s (NUG) minister of planning, finance and investment U Tin Tun Naing said on Wednesday (18 May 2022) that more land and property confiscated by the regime will be sold off to the public, as interest grows in the junta leader’s Yangon mansion.

On 5 May 2022, the ministry launched a funding scheme for the revolution by selling US$100 shares in Min Aung Hlaing’s mansion at 14 Inya Road, which is an affluent Yangon neighborhood.

Shareholders will receive a proportion of the proceeds when the properties are sold at auction if the NUG takes power.

So far around $5 million in shares – or half of the ministry’s target – have been sold in Min Aung Hlaing’s house.

Sixty confiscated Yangon plots to be sold

U Tin Tun Naing told The Irrawaddy at an online press conference that the ministry had identified 60 Yangon plots confiscated by regime leaders and the military-controlled defense and home affairs ministries for their benefit.

The minister said those plots were being reviewed to be reclaimed and will be included in the ministry’s sales.

They include four houses illegally acquired by Min Aung Hlaing and his family, one of which is 14 Inya Road that is on sale.

Regime members and cronies face seizures

He said the assets of civilian members of the regime’s governing body, like U Thein Nyunt and U Khin Maung Swe, and pro-regime cronies would be confiscated under the Counter-Terrorism Law.

“We have declared the regime to be a terrorist organization. We can reclaim the properties of its affiliates under the Counter-Terrorism Law,” the minister said.

He said the seizures would depend on the support given to the regime.

NUG to tax big businesses

U Tin Tun Naing said the ministry will send official letters to major businesses demanding taxes as no firms had voluntarily paid tax to the civilian government.

So far the NUG has only been receiving taxes from office staff and independent traders, the minister said.

The ministry is also selling lottery tickets and bonds to support striking civil servants, raising millions of Dollars.

$2.2 billion needed for the revolution

The ministry has so far raised $42 million, including from the latest campaign to sell off junta-seized property.

As the junta’s atrocities against civilians intensify, the NUG has raised its required budget to $2.2 billion from $700 million to provide protection, humanitarian assistance to the displaced, education and health care.

However, the minister said he was hopeful about meeting the budgetary requirements in the coming months.

U Tin Tun Naing said the ministry was finding new ways to generate funds and international aid was increasing, including promises of greater U.S. support.

The secret history of Min Aung Hlaing's Inya Mansion

Myanmar junta chief Senior General Min Aung Hlaing’s exclusive residence at No. 14 Inya Road has become the most wanted house in Yangon’s property market.

In late April, the civilian National Unity Government’s (NUG) Ministry of Planning and Finance announced that it would reclaim houses and other properties acquired by junta leaders, including Min Aung Hlaing, and sell shares in them to raise money for the ongoing revolution against the military regime.

Earlier this month, the NUG launched the scheme starting with Min Aung Hlaing’s Yangon mansion in the Inya Lake neighborhood, the most affluent area in the commercial capital.

Known as 14 Inya, the residence sits on a 1.86 acre (0.75 hectare) plot. The NUG is offering it for sale for US$10 million, a third of its estimated market value of US$30 million.

The residence, which was previously a military guesthouse, was acquired by Min Aung Hlaing before he seized power in last year’s coup. It stands as a showcase of the coup leader’s corruption and greed.

Inya Road is famous in Myanmar because of its location close to Inya Lake, Yangon University, and the Golden Valley neighborhood, the traditional home of Yangon’s rich.

Prior to Min Aung Hlaing taking possession, 14 Inya was a military-owned property commonly referred to as the ‘military intelligence guesthouse’, a place where the generals received foreign diplomats and the leaders of ethnic armed organizations.

In the 1990s, the feared former military spy chief Khin Nyunt liked to celebrate the Thingyan Water Festival at the guesthouse. The then junta leader Than Shwe and his deputy Maung Aye were often present at festival celebrations held there.

State dinners for VIPs were often hosted on the lawn of the residence. One of the most prominent figures who visited the mansion was the late leader of the Karen National Union (KNU) General Saw Bo Mya, better known as Bo Mya, who held talks with Khin Nyunt there. In 2002, the then regime leadership of Than Shwe and Maung Aye met with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi at 14 Inya, along with intelligence chief Khin Nyunt.

Notorious Golden Triangle drug lord Khun Sa was hidden in a compound at the back of 14 Inya when Washington offered a reward for his arrest.

Many generals were unhappy when Min Aung Hlaing took over the property. His possession of 14 Inya is frequently raised when military officers gossip about the corruption and greed of Min Aung Hlaing and his family.

Previous military chiefs did not live at 14 Inya, Senior General Saw Maung, the army chief after the 1988 pro-democracy uprising, lived at a residence near Dagon Housing on Alanpya Pagoda Road, the former site of the army office, in downtown Yangon.

He was placed under house arrest there after being purged.

Once Than Shwe became junta chief, he relocated the army office to Kone Myint Thar at 8 Mile on Pyay Road, the former home of the Burma Socialist Programme Party.

Though Than Shwe had his own house in Shwe Hninzi Street at 9 Mile, he moved to live at the army office. He arranged for Maung Aye and Khin Kyunt to live near him.

In 2006, Than Shwe moved the military office from Yangon to Naypyitaw. Before Min Aung Hlaing became the army chief, he has his own house at Kyaik Wyne Pagoda Road, which is not far from Kone Myint Thar.

Min Aung Hlaing then unexpectedly succeeded Than Shwe as Commander-in-Chief and, sometime around 2011 or 2012, took possession of 14 Inya. How he did so remains unclear.

One retired Lieutenant General said that it was Than Shwe who allowed him to buy the residence in 2011 at a price much lower than the market rate, transferring the ownership from the military to Min Aung Hlaing. Other sources say that Min Aung Hlaing seized ownership of the property in 2012 during the time of U Thein Sein’s quasi-civilian government.

The then Yangon Region Chief Minister Myint Swe may also have helped Min Aung Hlaing acquire the property. The pair have close links, with former Lieutenant General Myint Shwe acting as Min Aung Hlaing’s accomplice in his coup.

In 2012, Min Aung Hlaing tried to nominate Myint Swe as vice-president after Tin Aung Mying Oo resigned. But he was barred from becoming the vice-president by Section 59(f) of the military-drafted constitution, the same article which barred Daw Aung San Suu Kyi from becoming president, and Navy chief Admiral Nyan Tun became the vice-president instead.

Myint Swe was, however, nominated by the military as a vice-president under the National League for Democracy government after the question of whether he violated Section 59(j) was settled.

Min Aung Hlaing’s acquisition of 14 Inya was not publicly known for several years. Some generals who knew about it were unhappy, but have never dared to complain in public.

Now, 14 Inya is known around the world just like Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s nearby residence at No. 54 University Avenue Road.

Shanghai plans to gradually resume cross-regional public transportation from 22 May 2022
According to the WeChat official account of "Shanghai Release", at the press conference on Shanghai's epidemic prevention and control work held in the morning of 19 May 2022, Shanghai Vice Mayor Zhang Wei introduced the plan and arrangement resumption of public transport operations. Zhang Wei said that with the stabilization of the epidemic situation in various districts of Shanghai, it is planned to gradually resume inter-district public transportation from the 22nd of this month.
Zhang Wei introduced at the meeting, first of all, it must be pointed out that after the next stage of turning to normalized prevention and control, new requirements have been put forward for the operation of public transport, that is: while public transport provides convenience for the production and life of the general public, it must Ensuring the safe travel of the general public is a top priority. This safety includes not only the operation safety of public transportation itself, but also the safety of epidemic prevention and control, to strictly prevent the spread of the epidemic through the public transportation system. Therefore, there are two considerations regarding public transport resumption:
The first is to gradually build a public transport system with healthy travel and rapid emergency response capabilities.  "Place codes" and "digital sentries" at stations, carriages, etc. will be set up to guide passengers to scan the codes to get on the bus. All passengers must hold a 48-hour nucleic acid negative certificate to take public transportation. At the same time, it will also accelerate the construction of the "travel as a service" (MaaS) system, integrate payment and code verification links, and achieve one-code access; set up station buffers, and quickly carry out abnormal handling.
The second is to promote the restoration of the urban public transport system step by stepand steadily by dividing into "three steps":-
As a first step, the Shanghai authorities have recently started stress testing public transp ort in the outer suburbs. Jinshan, Fengxian, Chongming and other districts are gradually restoring the bus lines in the districts, and cruise taxis are also gradually opening up.
In the second step, with the stabilization of the epidemic situation in various districts of the city, it is planned to gradually resume inter-district public transportation from  22 May 2022. Taking into account the city's epidemic prevention and control and the division of the "three districts", combined with the public transportation's own prevention and control capabilities and conditions, we will start with the subway line with high coverage, supplemented by the corresponding ground bus lines, and focus on connecting transportation. Hubs, hospitals, and business districts meet the basic travel needs of citizens. Among them, the rail transit will first restore Lines 3, 6, 10, and 16, and the ground bus will give priority to restoring 273 lines, using this as the basic network to cover all central urban areas, as well as the city's airports, railway stations, tertiary hospitals and district central hospitals (among which there are 8 departure lines connecting Hongqiao and Pudong airports; 19 departure lines connecting Shanghai Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station; 212 lines passing through the hospital; connecting with railway lines 3, 6, 10, and 16. 34 lines).
In addition, regarding the passage of private cars and cruising taxis, the authorities are simultaneously studying recovery plans. Regarding external transportation, on the basis of maintaining the current requirements for leaving Shanghai unchanged ("48-hour nucleic acid negative + 24-hour antigen negative certificate" or "24-hour nucleic acid negative certificate"), the number of train arrivals and departures from Shanghai Hongqiao Station and Shanghai Station will be gradually increased. We will strictly check the nucleic acid and antigen certificates of people leaving Shanghai, and resolutely prevent the spillover of the epidemic.
With the further clarification of the epidemic situation and the recovery of travel demand,  a plan for adding lines and energy at this stage is currently formulated. In the future, the routes and capacity of ground bus and rail transit will be increased in a timely manner according to the actual situation.
The third step, until the epidemic situation is completely stable, the public transportation in the city will resume basic operation, and the external transportation will also basically resume.
Zhang Wei said that from the overall point of view, the current public transportation is in the initial stage of gradual recovery, and there may be a gap between the expectations of the general public and friends. Please be patient, and suggestions to improve connectivity are welcome. The authorities will optimize public transportation arrangements in a timely manner according to the epidemic situation and on the premise of ensuring epidemic prevention and operational safety, and make public announcements to better meet people's travel needs.

The Shanghai authorities have begun to "gradually resume business and markets" on 16 May and announced that they "strive to return to normal in June" but most areas remain closed. There are frequent incidents of residents jumping off buildings in desperation on the Internet.
On 18 May 2022, a video (link) posted on the Internet showed that in the living area of Shanghai Dafeng Electronics Factory, a funeral home vehicle pulled away a person who was suspected of falling from the building. The netizen who uploaded the video said: "One yesterday, another today..."
Netizens also said that on 18 May, many police officers went to the factory to visit workers with "bad mental conditions". Because of the long-term lockdown, many workers lost control of their emotions, some crying, and some hitting the wall themselves.
Not long ago, the workers of the Dafeng Electronics Factory resisted the ban. They once punched cards collectively, and some people fought back against the public security personnel.
On 19 May 2022, another video (link) was released. It is said that a young man in Taopu Town, Putuo, Shanghai fell to his death from the sixth floor. Officials attended the scene to deal with it.
On the same day, in a community in Pudong, Shanghai, a man jumped off a building under the watchful eyes of volunteers carrying supplies.

The Shanghai official announced on 16 May 2022 that it would "gradually resume business and the market", and then called it has achieved "social zero-covid" and "strive to return to normal in June", which was ridiculed by Shanghai netizens as a "word game". According to local netizens, although a small number of communities in Shanghai have relaxed, most areas remain closed and controlled, and local officials are still strengthening controls to protect the black hat.
However, in the propaganda of the CCP media, Shanghai seems to have "unblocked", and "fireworks" are everywhere. According to reports from Shanghai netizens, these "fireworks" are suspected to have come from a large-scale "shooting" operation mobilized by the official city-wide mobilization.
On 17 May 2022, a table was posted on the Internet, listing a series of shooting tasks for an official media, including the shooting time, location, content, and responsible reporter and broadcaster of each task.

Some Shanghai netizens broke the news that some communities that had been closed down for a while were suddenly unblocked inexplicably that day, letting residents go shopping for a few hours, and then continued the closure and control. It was only after the incident that the residents realized that they had cooperated with the official media to become an "extra actor" without their knowledge.
Some netizens also pointed out that many merchants in the market were also forced to participate in this "show".

The CCP’s Educational Auxiliary publication advocated “killing wife for the revolution” and is accused of being anti-human
The CCP is shocked by the public opinion that high school students preach "killing wives for the revolution"
Editor: Yun Tao / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/05/19/a103433366.html / Image : The CCP's high school language teaching supplementary material recently published an article promoting the shooting of a person's wife for the revolution, causing public shock. (Web screenshot)
The CCP's high school Chinese teaching supplement "New Curriculum News" recently published an article promoting "wife killing for the CCP's revolution", and its extremely distorted values shocked public opinion.
The title of the composition is "Red Hijab". In Chinese past customs, on the day of marriage, the bride's head needs to be covered with a piece of red satin, which is called the red hijab.
The background of this article is the period of the Republic of China before 1949, when the CCP had not yet seized power.
The author of the article said that his grandfather worked for the Communist Party at the time. The military funds raised by my grandfather for the Communist Party were unexpectedly favored by my grandmother. So grandma picked up the gold bars and ran away while grandpa was away. In desperation, grandpa shot and killed grandma with his own hands. After that, the grandfather did not marry again, and he kept the red hijab he had when he married his grandmother for the rest of his life.
The authenticity of the content of this article is difficult to verify. The article is named with "red hijab", obviously to express that grandpa still loves grandma, but for a so-called nobler reason, killing a relatively less noble love object.
The editor of the newspaper also added a paragraph at the end of a "reading" saying: Anyone who has read this article can't help but be moved by the "noble personality and love of family and country" of this "revolutionary" who executed his wife by himself.
The online public account "Common Sense Circulation Office" commented that it "felt a chill to the bones" after reading it. I wonder if everyone is intimidated by this "noble personality"? The "grandmother" in the article is not a heinous crime, but was personally executed by the person beside her in the name of justice. What is the dignity and value of life? Is there really such a deformed love in the world? It's ridiculous.
Yang Guiyuan, a current affairs commentator, told The Epoch Times that since the CCP usurped power, it has been advocating the so-called "righteousness and extermination of relatives." This distorted value reached its peak during the Cultural Revolution. The CCP encourages husbands and wives, parents and children, teachers and students to expose each other, monitor each other, and euphemistically call it "demand for progress." In fact, this is not only a complete destruction of human relations, but also a distortion of human nature.
In the CCP organization, "party spirit" is above human relations, and Communist Party members must use "party spirit" to crush "human nature". The Epoch Times editorial "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" said that according to the requirements of the Communist Party, the party spirit will always transcend universal human nature and exist. Human nature is considered relative and variable, while party nature is absolute and cannot be doubted or challenged.
In 2016, a court in Neixiang County, Henan Province, China hung up a slogan a few meters long, which clearly read, "Discuss party spirit, regardless of human nature." In the face of doubts from netizens, The Paper quoted the president of the court as saying, "When party spirit and human nature overlap, both party spirit and human nature are discussed; when party spirit and human nature are juxtaposed, party spirit and human nature are discussed first; When human nature conflicts, resolutely only discuss the party spirit regardless of human nature.”
Yan Chungou, a senior publisher in Hong Kong, said in a review article on party spirit and human nature that human nature is shaped and established in thousands of years of social development, love and kindness, the mind and soul of individuals, all social ethical norms and basic principles Ethics is the cornerstone of maintaining a normal society. In order to eradicate human nature, the CCP has replaced the basic common human nature with illusory pretexts such as revolution, ideals, struggle, national unity, national rejuvenation, and social stability.
Yan Chungou also said that the CCP encourages the Chinese to lose their humanity in order to make the party spirit a useful tool for ruling the Chinese people. Under the domination of party spirit, evil deeds against human nature can be carried out in broad daylight.

Beijing's epidemic prevention has been fully upgraded, experts suspect that the number of cases has been manipulated
Reporter : Zhu Ying / Editor: Wen Hui / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/05/19/a103433373.html / Image : On 19 May 2022, people in Beijing, capital of China, line up in front of a COVID-19 testing site, waiting to be sampled for nucleic acid testing. (Lintao Zhang/Getty Images)

During the past few days, the number of people infected with the epidemic in Beijing has been controlled within double digits, but the official epidemic prevention measures have been continuously upgraded, and now it is almost in a "semi-closed city" state. . Some experts questioned that the authorities may have artificially manipulated the number of cases in order to avoid repeating the mistakes of Shanghai's closure of the city.
On 19 May 2022, local time, Beijing officials said at the 339th press conference on epidemic prevention that all communities (villages) have "comprehensively upgraded various prevention and control measures" in view of the "severe and complex" epidemic situation in Beijing. ".
According to regulations, all communities (villages) in the city must strictly enforce the 24-hour bayonet duty system, strengthen the management of personnel and vehicle access, and implement management measures such as temperature measurement, code scanning, inspection of negative nucleic acid test certificates within 48 hours, and registration.
In addition, from now on, the "10+4" management and control policy will be implemented in the closed control areas in Beijing, that is: the closed control areas can be downgraded to control areas after being closed for 10 days, and personnel will be managed according to the control areas for 4 days; the control areas will be managed for 10 days. After the release, the personnel carried out 4-day health monitoring.
However, during the lockdown and control period, once there are new cases or new positive sites, the epidemic prevention and control command agencies in each district will organize relevant departments to study and judge, and "re-determine the lockdown and control area and time."
According to the "Guidelines for the Work of Beijing Sealed Control Areas" specially formulated by the Beijing Municipal Government: Residents of the "sealed control areas" in Beijing must adhere to "staying at home", and they should wear masks in public areas during home isolation, and they should "try their best to stay at home". Reduce direct contact with family members”;
In addition, the residents of the "control area" are in principle at home, and each household can arrange one person per day to "go out for a short time to collect daily necessities and throw garbage" under the premise of wearing N95 masks in a standardized manner. No one is allowed to walk, visit, or gather. At the same time, we must adhere to "carry out nucleic acid testing and antigen self-testing as required".
The outside world has noticed that the number of confirmed cases and so-called "asymptomatic infections" reported by Beijing recently is not high. From 0:00 to 24:00 on May 19, only 50 local confirmed cases and 5 asymptomatic cases were reported. Infected. However, Beijing officials have continued to upgrade epidemic prevention and control measures, and all districts in the city are highly nervous and anxious.
Just the day before, Beijing had just upgraded the epidemic prevention and control of Fengtai District, and implemented a disguised closure measure in the district in the name of "do not leave the district unless it is necessary" to implement "home office". According to the news from the people, both sides of the main street in Fengtai District have been completely blocked by official iron plates or fences.
Beijing's continuous escalation of epidemic prevention measures has made the outside world suspect that the government has seriously concealed the epidemic situation. The real epidemic situation in the city may already be quite serious.
Lin Xiaoxu, an American virology expert and former director of the laboratory of the Department of Virology of the U.S. Army Research Institute, said in an interview with Voice of America (VOA) on the 19th that the Beijing authorities certainly do not want the city to be closed due to the rapid spread of the epidemic like Shanghai. Judging from the severe closure and control measures implemented by the city officials, in fact, Beijing is now in a "semi-closed state". In order to "avoid repeating the mistakes of Shanghai's complete closure of the city", the authorities may have manipulated the number of new cases.
Lin Xiaoxu said, "Beijing officials have also acknowledged that there are several clusters of epidemics in Beijing, and social screening still finds sporadic cases. Fengtai District has been locked down; a few days ago, Beijing Institute of Technology Fangshan Campus newly discovered positive cases, with 670 campuses. Famous teachers and students have been transferred to centralized isolation points, and more than 100 subway stations in Beijing have been closed. These situations all highlight that the epidemic situation in Beijing is severe and complex."
Lin Xiaoxu said that no matter how the CCP government handles the epidemic in Shanghai or Beijing, there is a taste of "political struggle", and "all kinds of signs show how the central and local governments confront and compete." He believes that the CCP's continued insistence on "clearing" is political, and its main purpose is to ensure that the epidemic does not get out of control in China before the 20th National Congress this fall.
According to the VOA report, Beijing has been partially closed for nearly a month, and it is still unable to stop the epidemic. Many signs before Shanghai’s closure have also begun to appear. The "cliff-like decline" of China's economic data in April, coupled with the potential danger of supply chains moving out of China, as well as the dissatisfaction and shouting of the Chinese people, so the Beijing government has not yet made a decision to completely seal the city, and can only continue to escalate various lockdown measures to delay the development of the epidemic.

Beijing-Guangzhou Air Channel officially opened! One-way flights from Beijing Capital to Shenzhen can be reduced by 125 km
From 12 am of 19 May 2022, the airspace structure adjustment plan (south section plan) of the Beijing-Guangzhou Air Channel was officially launched.
This marks that the north-south air traffic artery connecting the two world-class urban agglomerations in my country's Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area will change from the original two-lane "single-up, single-down" to a "double-up and double-down" four-lane, further Improve operational safety and flight efficiency.
After the launch, the one-way flight from Beijing capital to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Macau can save about 125 km.

Change from "two lanes" to "four lanes" to ease traffic congestion and improve operational safety
It is understood that the adjustment of the airspace structure of the Beijing Grand Channel is the one with the widest impact, the most complete coordination between military and civil aviation, and the longest preparation time since the construction of the major civil aviation channel. It took 8 years from planning to final implementation.
The plan involves 7 provinces (Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Jiangxi) along the Beijing-Guangzhou route, 2 municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin), as well as Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, affecting 145 airports, accounting for 10% of the total national transport airports. 57.1%. Among them, there are 8 airports with tens of millions.
The main body of the plan for the southern section of the Beijing-Guangzhou Corridor, which was launched on 19 May 2022, consists of two groups of 4 routes. The main purpose is to carry out "parallel and one-way transformation" of the original Jingguang Air Road (A461) south of the Hubei area, and at the same time to open up the Beijing-Guangzhou diversion. The connecting part of the route (W45) to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, combined with the W102 route on the west side, realizes a large channel pattern of "two ups and two downs, one-way circulation", effectively connecting the two fields of Beijing, Tianjin, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Macau and other important regional hub airports.
According to statistics, the southern section of the Beijing-Guangzhou Corridor plans to open up and adjust 19 air routes, add 2,313 km of route mileage, adjust and optimize the relevant entry and departure flight procedures at 13 airports, and adjust the direction of about 5,000 flight routes.
After evaluation, in terms of operational safety, the number of cross-convergence and conflict deployments along the routes along the Beijing-Guangzhou Channel will be reduced by about 572 times a day.
In terms of energy conservation and emission reduction, the one-way flight from the capital of Beijing to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Macao can save about 125 kilometers, saving about 3.18 million kilometers in the whole year, saving about 17,000 tons of fuel, and reducing carbon emissions by about 54,000 tons.

In terms of flight flow, after the implementation of the Beijing-Guangdong Channel Airspace Plan, the flight flow of major congested airspace along the Beijing-Guangzhou route can be reduced to a maximum of 67.1% of that airway capacity between the bays before the implementation.

Strive to achieve more than 70% of the country's trunk route network coverage
Since the opening of the Beijing-Kunming corridor at the end of 2013, my country's civil aviation has successfully opened 6 major air corridors, and the average daily flight volume of civil aviation has also increased from 10,360 in 2013 to 16,388 in 2019. The increase in the number of flights has provided high-quality airspace guarantee for the rapid development of my country's civil aviation.
The Beijing-Guangdong Channel implemented this time is the seventh major channel in the planning and construction of the "10+3" backbone air channel.
The plan improves the overall operation efficiency by optimizing and adjusting the airspace of the main routes of Beijing-Guangzhou and the hub airports along the route. It is estimated that the airspace capacity of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the regions along the route can be increased by nearly 40%. The economic construction of the Tianjin-Hebei region, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and the regions along the route is of great significance to smooth the domestic circulation and promote the domestic and international dual circulation.
According to statistics, the Beijing-Guangzhou A461 route has 6 busy route points with an average daily average of about 1,000 sorties, and 10 busy flight segments with an average daily average of over 600 sorties, making it one of the busiest air routes in the world. Rationalizing the routes of the Beijing-Guangzhou air route has great strategic significance for solving the nationwide airspace congestion problem, and will also play a huge role in promoting the development of the regional economy.
Up to now, seven major air passages including Beijing-Kunming, Guangzhou-Lanzhou, Shanghai-Lanzhou, Shanghai-Harbin, Shanghai-Chengdu, China-Korea and Beijing-Guangzhou have been opened successively, marking that my country has gradually built the basic structure of the national civil aviation route network.

The World Health Assembly will take place on the 22nd. Taiwan's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ou Jiangan confirmed on the 19th that he has not yet received an invitation letter, which is dissatisfied and regrettable. A day earlier, the Senate's bipartisan foreign affairs leaders led 50 senators in a joint letter to Biden calling for Taiwan to be included in the Indo-Pacific economic structure.

Biden's visit to Asia comes first, and the CCP panics
From tomorrow (20th) to next Tuesday (24th), Biden will visit South Korea and Japan successively, and will attend the US-Japan-India-Australia Quadrilateral Security Dialogue Summit in Japan. This is Biden's first trip to Asia after taking office a year and five months ago. The Wall Street Journal reported on 19 May) that the focus of Biden's trip will refocus on fighting the CCP.
On 18 May, the nationalist tabloid Global Times published an editorial in response to Biden's trip to Asia. Said "every indications" that Biden's trip to Asia "is a 'challenging trip' to publicize 'targeting China' in advance," and will coordinate with Japan and South Korea to "contain China (the CCP)."
The comments also stated that this time Biden's visit to Asia, in addition to playing the "security card" and "military card", also brought the "economic anti-China card" and will announce the launch of the "Indo-Pacific Economic Framework". Commentators believe that this is the United States to win over other countries to "decouple" from China, to engage in a "small circle" that excludes China (the CCP), and so on.
Yesterday, there was a very sudden move between the US and China. Yang Jiechi, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chinese Communist Party, had a phone call with US National Security Adviser Sullivan. Afterwards, both sides made a briefing, but as always, they spoke their own words.
The White House said in a statement that the two sides discussed regional security, nuclear non-proliferation and the Russian-Ukrainian war, as well as "specific issues" in U.S.-China relations. The CCP state media reported that Yang Jiechi and Sullivan said in a phone call that the Taiwan issue is the "most important, sensitive, and core" issue in Sino-US relations.
Both Xinhua News Agency and CCTV reported that Yang Jiechi and Sullivan spoke on the phone without mentioning whether they were "invited" to speak. From this subtle change, it can be seen that this call is likely to be the CCP’s initiative to invite the United States to make a call.
Zhao Lijian, the "chief" Wolf Warrior Spokesperson of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is also somewhat less "wolf-like". He said today (19 May) that CCP China's position was expressed in the video meeting between Wang Yi and the Japanese Foreign Minister, "The development of bilateral relations between the United States and Japan should not be against a third party or against the interests of a third party”.
Before Biden's visit to Asia, the CCP has made this series of actions, which fully reflects the CCP's nervousness. Perhaps Beijing has a premonition that the future international situation will be even worse for the CCP.
After the U.S.'s strategic focus has returned to Asia, the CCP may become the second Russia to be sanctioned by the international community. Therefore, the CCP has made various reactions one after another to avoid a similar situation from happening. In other words, these actions of the CCP are a bit like "hair blowing" but in fact, the CCP also knows that even if it does, it may not help.

Possessing overseas assets to influence official positions
On 19 May, The Wall Street Journal exclusively reported a piece of news that the CCP has made a rule for senior party officials to prohibit direct or indirect ownership of overseas property or shares in overseas entities, otherwise they cannot be promoted.
The organization department communicated the ban in an "internal notice" in early March, people familiar with the matter said. It clearly states that "the spouses and children of ministerial officials are prohibited from directly or indirectly holding shares in any overseas real estate or overseas registered entity". "Senior officials and their immediate family members will also be prohibited from opening accounts with overseas financial institutions unless they have a legitimate reason to do so, such as study or work."
It was unclear whether the rules would be retroactive, the people said but some family members of senior officials have sold stakes in overseas companies to comply with the rules. It is not known whether the order will be made public.
"Xi Jinping is trying to minimize the geopolitical risk of the Communist Party, because he is concerned that officials with overseas financial exposure may be exposed if the U.S. and other Western powers impose sanctions on Chinese leaders and their relatives," the source added. Be a burden, as Russia did to Moscow after its invasion of Ukraine."
The Wall Street Journal asked the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee for confirmation on the new regulations disclosed by insiders but the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee did not respond. What does silence mean? Is "default" a real thing, or is it dismissive and not worth mentioning?
In January, Xi Jinping said at a meeting of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection that "leading cadres, especially senior cadres, must pay attention to family discipline and morality." He also said that officials must "lead by example, properly manage their spouses and children, and be conscientious people who do things in a clean way."
Based on the analysis of these circumstances, I think it is more likely that the Central Organization Department will "acquiesce". In other words, the CCP is likely to have such an "internal notice" that makes special requirements for officials above the ministerial level of the CCP.
This new regulation, in my opinion, is a shock that exploded among the high-ranking CCP officials. It has affected almost all former and current senior CCP officials, and will surely stir up a new vortex at the top of the CCP.

Xi's new regulations help the 20th National Congress? Infighting in the CCP will become more intense
People familiar with the matter said the new rule was an "internal notice" issued by the Central Organization Department in March. That said, I think that's what Xi Jinping meant. I mentioned the relationship between Chen Xi, the head of the Central Organization Department, and Xi Jinping.
Chen Xi and Xi Jinping were classmates at Tsinghua University and roommates in the bunk and bunk. They were "hard buddies" at that time. After Xi Jinping came to power, Chen Xi rose step by step, and has always reached the current deputy state level.
In fact, even if it is not this kind of relationship, even a director of the middle group would not dare to make such a regulation without authorization. Because this regulation is too involved, it involves almost all current and former senior officials of the CCP, including former and current state-level officials. Chen Xi can restrain officials lower in rank than him, but he would never dare to be at the national level.
In June 2020, the United States sanctioned Chinese officials for undermining Hong Kong's autonomy. At that time, a number of Hong Kong and Taiwan media disclosed that Han Zheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Premier, had assets of more than 1 billion US dollars in the United States, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and other places, and had a mistress and illegitimate child in New Zealand.
Apart from Han Zheng, is there any such situation among the current senior officials of the CCP? The answer is yes, it just has not been disclosed yet. It is an indisputable fact that everyone, including senior CCP officials, saw that the red boat was about to sink and was making way for themselves.
According to information disclosed by various channels, the family members of former members of the CCP Standing Committee, such as Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong, Zhang Gaoli, Liu Yunshan, etc., and the family members of former CCP Political and Legal Committee Secretary Meng Jianzhu, including Mao Zedong's family members, all have huge assets overseas.
In particular, Jiang Zhicheng, the grandson of Jiang Zemin, had earlier revealed that a wealthy mainland businessman who fled to the United States had at least $500 billion in assets. The Jiang Zemin family controls at least $1 trillion in wealth overseas.
In 2019, Jia Kang, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former director of the Institute of Finance of the Ministry of Finance, forwarded a message: Swiss Bank announced that 100 Chinese people have a total of 7800 billion RMB in deposits in Swiss banks, with an average deposit of 78 billion RMB per person. .
WikiLeaks disclosed in 2013 that there were about 5,000 accounts of senior Chinese officials in Swiss banks, and nearly 70 percent of them were central-level officials. From the vice premier of the Communist Party of China, bank governors, ministers to central committee members, almost everyone has an account information.
No one can know how much assets the CCP officials have overseas, and no one can know the total amount. We can only take a peek at the little data disclosed but this is just the tip of the iceberg.
It can be seen that almost everyone, whether they are former or current senior officials of the CCP, has overseas assets. In other words, this new regulation of the CCP has touched almost all the former and current senior officials.
This is a multiple-choice question that Xi Jinping has given to all former and current CCP officials above the provincial and ministerial level. Either give up overseas assets, truly become an official within the CCP system, and continue to enjoy privileges and vested interests;
Of course, there is also a possibility that Xi Jinping used the new regulations to make a gesture, rather than actually implementing them. Because there are too many high-level officials involved, if it is really enforced, the CCP will collapse immediately.
What Xi Jinping has done in recent years has a strong sense of protecting the party, so it is estimated that it is unlikely to be implemented practically, and it is likely to be implemented selectively. To put it bluntly, it is to shock those forces that oppose him and gain more initiative for the re-election of the 20th National Congress. The Wall Street Journal believes that the ban "may help Xi Jinping increase his influence at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China."
But on the other hand, even if this new regulation is not implemented, it will definitely attract more violent opposition to Xi Jinping. Because of this new regulation, everyone is at their own risk, and no senior CCP official is at ease. How can they easily give up the money they have finally made?
From this perspective, Xi Jinping’s new rules are against the entire Communist Party and against all high-ranking officials of the Communist Party. Then there will be a situation where all senior CCP officials with overseas assets may oppose him either explicitly or implicitly.
Let's not talk about those who secretly oppose and swear in the heart, there must be many such people. If it is clearly opposed, it is a court battle. To put it bluntly, in order to protect their own interests, it is very likely that they will fight directly on the table. So we will definitely see the infighting in the CCP getting more and more intense.

Readiness to attack Taiwan and Xi's consequences
As I mentioned just now, from the perspective of governance in recent years, Xi Jinping has a strong sense of protecting the party. Therefore, he may also hope that those senior officials with overseas assets will really give up overseas assets, because the Xi Jinping administration is likely to have some plans for Taiwan.
“Xi Jinping is trying to minimize the geopolitical risk of the Communist Party,” the person said. “Because he worries that if the U.S. and other Western powers impose sanctions on Chinese leaders and their relatives, officials with overseas financial exposure may would be a burden, as Russia did to Moscow after its invasion of Ukraine."
After Russia invaded Ukraine, the United States, Europe and other Western countries successively imposed a number of sanctions on Putin and other Russian officials, including Russian business giants, including freezing their overseas assets.
In fact, Biden has always been critical of Russia before and after taking office. But the real sanctions were still imposed after Russia launched a war of aggression. That is to say, the international community cannot tolerate Russia's war of aggression, and only imposed sanctions.
So why is Xi Jinping worried that CCP officials will be sanctioned? If the CCP does not toss and offend the international community, how can the United States, Europe and other Western countries sanction CCP officials for no reason?
This has to make people think one step further, what the CCP is likely to have plans for Taiwan and what actions it wants to take against Taiwan. The fact that Russia is now being sanctioned has worried Beijing about fear of being sanctioned by Western countries after the armed attack on Taiwan.
The United States has warned China on various occasions that it will face severe sanctions if it attacks Taiwan by force. The level of pressure is worse than Russia being sanctioned. On April 7, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen bluntly stated that once the CCP invades Taiwan, the United States will “use all sanctions tools” to sanction the CCP.
Therefore, from this perspective, Xi Jinping may hope that officials with overseas assets will cut off their tails themselves, so as not to be controlled by others. There is one more thing that should be paid attention to.
On the 15th of this month, the self-media Lude Press released a recording, which is said to be the top-secret recording of the CCP’s top-secret "Guangdong Military Region's pre-war military-civilian joint subordinate meeting", which conveyed the instructions of the CCP's Military Commission to the southern theater. Xi also made a speech.
It was mentioned in the meeting that the Party Committee of the Guangdong Military-Civilian Joint Headquarters was established to implement the orders of Xi Jinping, Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission, and focus on three tasks. The first is to build a military-civilian joint mobilization command system; the second is to implement a wartime working mechanism; the third is to prepare for wartime control.
According to reports, it is Li Xi's request in his speech, "According to the principle of military-civilian integration and military products first, coordinate production in the military region and civilian production." He also said that "we must unify our thinking and understanding, strengthen our self-awareness, and do not hesitate to fight to smash the plans of Taiwan independence and powerful enemies," and called this a "major strategic decision" by the Xi Jinping administration.
This recording is very long and contains a lot of content, but we have no way of verifying whether it is true or false. However, many meetings of the CCP in the past have conveyed the same message. The CCP has been coveting Taiwan and wants to occupy Taiwan through various means. Xi Jinping had said in an earlier meeting that he would not commit to giving up force.
In addition, from the perspective of the CCP’s infighting, the CCP also has the possibility of using force against Taiwan. For example, when Xi Jinping seeks re-election at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and is under strong sniping, or when he is about to lose in infighting and his position is in jeopardy, it is possible for him to use force to attack Taiwan. By launching a war, the opposing forces on all sides must stop fighting within, and first "unite with the outside world".
Therefore, I would like to remind the Taiwan side to pay special attention to the movements of the CCP, and be careful not to jump over the wall in a hurry. But once the CCP does so, Xi Jinping's fate may be even worse.
In theory, there are two possible outcomes for the CCP to attack Taiwan by force. One is the successful occupation of Taiwan. If so, Xi Jinping's re-election as CCP leader is almost a foregone conclusion. But even if the CCP occupies Taiwan, Western countries will definitely sanction the CCP.
However, the possibility of the CCP successfully occupying Taiwan is very small, and the second possibility is more likely that the CCP army will be defeated. Because Taiwan not only has its own military to attack the CCP, but also the United States, Japan, Australia and other countries to assist in defense, and even the United Kingdom and European Union countries may also assist in defense of Taiwan. In this case, it will not take long for the CCP to lose.
Once the CCP army is defeated, senior CCP officials will be sanctioned by Western countries. At this time, will the top Chinese Communist Party let Xi Jinping go? Even if the CCP regime did not fall because of this, he would not be able to stay in power, and I am afraid that he will not only face the problem of stepping down.

Beijing is really locked down, and the secondary disaster crisis appears
Next, we will pay attention to the epidemic situation in various places. Today (19th) a netizen seemed to be unhappy. He told me in an email, "I don't understand. It only said that Shanghai was closed, not Beijing." "Beijing's lockdown can make China more fully closed ."
The netizen wrote in the e-mail, "Beijing is really closed, and all roads, communities, villages and towns are not allowed to enter or leave." The netizen also told me, "Please help me."
Thanks for this netizen. Although he seemed a little unhappy, it just showed his trust in me. We have really focused on Shanghai in recent days. The main reason is that Shanghai has been closed for a long time, and there is a lot of news but in fact, I have been paying attention to Beijing, and I will try my best to help you pass on any news.
Since this netizen trusts me so much, let's talk about the situation in Beijing first. Xu Hejian, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, said on 19 May that "several clusters of epidemics have occurred one after another", and the prevention and control situation is still severe and complicated, and there should be no hesitation to slack off. It is required to "unswervingly promote the social dynamic clearing action".
Xu Hejian's latest statement still conveys the message of Beijing's severe blockade to the outside world. Adhere to the clearing of social dynamics. Only by imprisoning people at home, or arresting them at isolation points, so that no one can be seen from society, can it be possible to "clear social dynamics." In other words, Beijing's lockdown will continue.
A Beijing netizen who often provides information told me in an email on 19 May, "Yesterday (a friend) from Xidan said that when he returned from the grave, the alleys over there were sealed off with grids, and the alleys were not allowed to leave. Recovery is being watched."
Netizens said "grave bag", which is what Beijingers call "National Grand Theater". It was Jiang Zemin who, in order to make Song Zuying happy, "Big Brother" spent 3 billion from the state treasury to build something like this for "Yingzi" not far from Tiananmen Square on West Chang'an Avenue in the center of Beijing. It looks like a grave from a distance, so people mock it as "poisoned egg" or "grave bag".
Netizens mentioned that the hutongs near the graves were also sealed off by the grid. In my opinion, it is completely consistent with the previous netizen's statement that "Beijing is literally sealed off". Because the tomb area is the most central location in Beijing, if it is sealed here, it is impossible for other parts of Beijing not to be sealed. Although Beijing has never said that the city is closed, in fact, Beijing has already closed the city.
Netizens also said that seeing Shanghai walking to the train station reminded me of my husband's family coming to Beijing from his hometown in 2020. At that time, I was dragging my suitcase and walking deep and shallow to the station in the heavy snow. But many people have tickets and are not allowed to get on the train, and drag their suitcases back home. Netizens said, "Everything in big cities now is experienced in rural areas, towns, and small cities."
A netizen in Beijing posted a post on Weibo, saying that his grandmother was in the intensive care unit of the ICU and was in a severe coma but before his grandmother's health treasure was popped up, the hospital refused to treat her.
Netizens said that at about 3.30 pm on 18 May, her grandmother went to the emergency department of Chaoyang Hospital Jingxi Branch and was diagnosed with "intestinal perforation" or "stomach perforation" and was in critical condition. However, because the elderly's health treasure was popped up, the hospital has not done it until the pop-up window is lifted.
The old man gradually fell into a coma from the lucidity when he arrived at the hospital, and his blood pressure was as low as 84/40. At 9 o'clock in the evening, I asked 1234 for help, and it was only at 9:30 that the pop-up window was lifted and I entered the operation. At this time, it has been more than 6 hours since the emergency time.
After the operation, the old man was still in a severe coma but the first thing the doctor came out to communicate was that he was in critical condition, and the second thing was to accuse the family of calling 12345 to complain.
I have said long ago that I don't want the secondary disasters in Shanghai to appear in Beijing, but the current practice of the Beijing West Branch of Chaoyang Hospital is very worrying. "Intestinal perforation" or "stomach perforation" are both very critical and severe, and the elderly are so old, a slight delay may be life-threatening.
I was still saying yesterday that under the CCP, everyone is not safe. Maybe at some point, he may be hit by the iron fist of the CCP. I hope that the old man can be safe and healthy. I also hope that all Beijingers can be safe in this plague, and I hope that everyone can see the CCP clearly because of this.

Hu Xijin challenged to clear again, Shanghai people could not survive
There is one thing worth noting. On 19 May, Hu Xijin made another rash comment on the Central Committee. Hu  said on Weibo that there were still 48 new cases on the latest day, and "it seems that it will take time for the whole city of Beijing to clear." He also said that "even if it is cleared, it may be difficult to guarantee that it will not be attacked by the virus like Tianjin."
Hu Xijin said, "It is impossible to maintain zero-covid for a long time. North Korea is almost closed to the country, but it is still infected." He also emphasized that "it is purely technical discussion, does not involve any politics, and does not point to the so-called 'laying down'. Peaceful', 'Coexistence with Viruses'" and so on.
Hu Xijin was trying his best to be softer, but the softer words would be very clear. To put it bluntly, he is still in the prevention and control of the epidemic, challenging the dynamic clearing policy of the highest authorities in Beijing.
We don't care whether there is support behind Hu Xijin, nor do we guess his true motives. He said that it is impossible to have zero infection, which is a fact, and it is clearly reflected in Shanghai.
Just after Shanghai announced that the city's society was cleared, Minhang District announced another closure on 19 May. On this day and on 20 May 2022, a new round of nucleic acid testing is carried out across the region, and the lockdown, control, and prevention areas in the region will also be "staying at home".
Minhang District did not explain why it was closed again, but it is estimated that another case was found, otherwise it would not have made such a big fight.
A netizen of the Pudong public transport system confirmed to me, "At present, only a small number of vehicles have resumed operation, and a small number of vehicles have started trial operation. However, the brand trunk lines of the branches in Pudong have not been restored."
In other words, Shanghai has not lifted the lockdown. Even if the unblocking is announced, it is still necessary to enter a new round of tossing mode again.
There is a "Commitment Letter of Leaving Shanghai" circulating on the Internet, and the reason for the person who signed the Letter of Commitment is "can't live". This is probably the common feeling of many Shanghainese.
There is a video on Twitter of a woman crying and saying to the camera, "I don't want the house anymore" and leaving Shanghai because she can't bear it anymore. She said it calmly, but it was heartbreaking to hear.
[Original sound video] I'm sorry, because of the epidemic, I really can't bear it anymore, we don't want the house anymore. We thought about it, we are going to leave the city of Shanghai, and when the epidemic is lifted, we will go back to our hometown. There is no other way, the bank's loan has not been repaid, the bank has told me many times that I have to repay the loan, we can no longer afford it, and I don't know when it will be over.
The mortgage is more than 900,000 RMB, and it takes 30 years to repay, and the monthly repayment is 4,800 RMB. Our storefront has not been unblocked, and there is no source of income for a penny. The rent of the store is still to be paid. I have asked the landlord to see if the rent can be reduced or exempted during the epidemic, but the landlord's answer made me have no nostalgia for the city of Shanghai. He said, "I don't run a charity organization. The epidemic is a matter of the country, and I can't control it as a commoner, but you still have to pay the rent." I can't say anything else.
I have two children, the eldest goes to primary school and the second goes to kindergarten. Since they have to earn money to support their family, they have no time to discipline them. Helpless, I can only put my two children in boarding school in my hometown. The school needs all kinds of living expenses and supplementary tuition fees, and also mails living expenses to the elderly every month. This kind of pressure makes me really breathless.
I thought about selling the house, but there was no market for it. It cost more than 500,000 RMB for the down payment plus the agency fee and tax. Although I repaid 4,800 yuan a month, it took me three years to pay it back, which is more than 100,000 RMB, and I still owe the bank more than 900,000 yuan. The current house auction is only 500,000 yuan. At this price, I still owe the bank more than 400,000 yuan. The bank still has penalty interest, and there are a lot of fees that I don’t understand. I need to bear the lawyer fees. Now is a special period of the epidemic. Even if it is another 10 years, I will not be able to earn more than 900,000 RMB.
********************
From this woman's remarks, we can all feel how much pressure she is under. There are old and young, but they earn less than a penny, and they have to pay rent and mortgages and other expenses. How hard is it to live? !
But in Shanghai, life is difficult and stressful people are everywhere. A Shanghai netizen who has been in touch with us all the time told me today (19th) by email that another person jumped off the building in Jinfengyuan, Juqiao Road, Pudong New Area. Because the video is too shocking, I won't show it on the show, but put it on the blog, where everyone can watch it.
Netizens said that since the closure of the city to the present, they have lost count of how many people jumped off the building in Shanghai. Until now, the unblocking is still a long way off. Will there be more in the future?
A netizen said, "Under the rule of the CCP, human life is like an ant." He said, "The total number of dead dogs and cats that I have seen in a few years is less than the number of people who jumped off buildings and hanged themselves in Shanghai's closure for more than a month."
To tell you the truth, when I say this kind of news, my nose is always sore. I feel sorry for everyone who lost their life, life is precious, is it not worth it to go like this? I also feel sorry for those who are constantly tossed by the CCP but have not woken up. What kind of situation does it take to truly wake up?

20 Britons contract from monkeypox as of 20 May 2022

The monkeypox outbreak in the UK has doubled in size, health officials announce on 20 May 2022.

The UK has been stocking up on thousands of monkeypox vaccines and treatments amid fears the current spate of cases is only the tip of the iceberg.

Nine Britons had been diagnosed with the contagious virus so far but a further 11 are confirmed today, The Times reported.

Monkeypox now easily spreads between gays

The majority of cases are not linked, suggesting it is spreading more widely, although ministers are considering a public health campaign to warn gay men it may be more prevalent for them.

Although monkeypox is not classed as a sexualy transmitted disease, many recent cases in the UK were in men who have sex with other men.

The UK's drug watchdog told MailOnline it was monitoring the current outbreak and 'working with companies to speedily bring forward suitable treatments'.

Health chiefs also revealed to MailOnline they have bought thousands of vaccine doses and are already deploying them to close contacts of infected Britons.

Smallpox drugs and injections effective against monkeypox

Antiviral drugs and jabs designed to target smallpox have cross protection against monkeypox, with the two viruses genetically very similar.

The latest outbreak has been described as "unusual"' by experts because person-to-person transmission of monkeypox was thought to be extremely rare.

Six of Britain's cases are in gay or bisexual men, which officials say is "highly suggestive of spread in sexual networks".

Dr Susan Hopkins, the chief medical adviser at the UK Health Security Agency, urged gay and bisexual men to check if they have irregular rashes and talk to a sexual health doctor if concerned.

Deadly monkeypox cases that emerge elsewhere outside Africa

Cases have also been announced in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany Sweden, Italy, France and Australia, making it the most widespread monkeypox outbreak to date.

Monkeypox can kill up to one in ten people who get it but the new cases have the West African variant, which is deadly for around one in 100.

Initial symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, backache, swollen lymph nodes, chills and exhaustion.

A rash can develop, often beginning on the face, then spreading to other parts of the body including the genitals.

The rash changes and goes through different stages, and can look like chickenpox or syphilis, before finally forming a scab, which later falls off.

Imvanex 85% effective at preventing monkeypox

A vaccine, known as Imvanex, was approved in 2013 in the UK to treat smallpox, but studies have since shown it is 85 per cent effective at preventing monkeypox.

It is not approved for monkeypox in the UK but health professionals can use it "off-label".

Imvanex is already being offered to close contacts of positive cases and medics treating cases "based on their risk factor".

A spokesperson for the Department of Health said: 'We have taken active steps to be prepared for further cases of monkeypox in the UK and have secured thousands of doses of vaccines that are effective against monkeypox which are being used to protect key healthcare workers and at-risk individuals who may have been exposed.'

The Imvanex jab has been used to treat close contacts of monkeypox cases since 2018, when a small number of cases were detected with travel links to Africa.

Imvanex contains a modified form of the vaccinia virus, which is similar to the family of viruses that cause smallpox and monkeypox but does not cause disease in people.

Because of its similarity to the pox viruses, antibodies produced against this virus offer cross protection.

There are a handful of antivirals and therapies for smallpox that appear to work on monkeypox, including the drug tecovirimat, which was approved for monkeypox in the EU in January.

A spokesperson for the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Authority (MHRA) told MailOnline, "'There is no approved vaccine or medicine for monkeypox in Great Britain."

Hoowever they added, "We are monitoring the situation closely and working with companies to speedily bring forward suitable treatments for monkeypox."

Professor Kevin Fenton, London's public health regional director, said if the outbreak in the capital continues to grow then the rollout of vaccines and treatments could be broadened to more groups.
