The reporters learned that the helicopter belonged to the Shijiazhuang Forestry Bureau, and the plane did not crash, but made a forced landing.

Video from the scene showed that a red helicopter was badly deformed in a forest, and a person was injured on his side near the helicopter. The reporter noticed that the propeller of the helicopter had the words "Air Tour" on it.

"There used to be this helicopter, but it didn't fly so low." A nearby merchant told reporters that he was working outdoors at 9 a.m. and had seen a red helicopter fly by in the sky. It did not take long for the merchant to see four or five fire trucks passing by the roadside, thinking it was an accident on the highway, but later heard from nearby villagers that a helicopter had crashed.

After comparing the pictures of the scene, the merchant said that the helicopter he saw at 9 am was the one that fell. A villager near the incident site also said that before the incident, the helicopter flew very low, and soon after it was heard that a helicopter landed in the nearby woods.

On 23 May 2022, Premier Li Keqiang chaired an executive meeting of the State Council, in which he rarely acknowledged that the economy was "off the rails" and that "many market players are very difficult." At the meeting, Li Keqiang pushed forward 33 measures to stabilize the economy but did not mention "dynamic clearing".

Li Keqiang admits economic derailment

According to Xinhua News Agency, the party media, Li Keqiang deployed a package of measures to stabilize the economy at the meeting, rarely admitting that the economy was "off the rails" and demanding "efforts to push the economy back to a normal track and ensure that it operates within a reasonable range."

The meeting pointed out that at present, "the downward pressure on the economy continues to increase" and "many market players are very difficult."

At the meeting, Li Keqiang launched 33 measures to stabilize the economy in six areas: First, fiscal and related policies. Efforts shall be made to stabilize the employment of market players.

The second is financial policy. Increase the loan amount for small and medium-sized enterprises, etc., and at the same time promote the domestic and overseas listing of platform enterprises.

The third is to stabilize the industrial chain and supply chain; the fourth is to promote consumption and effective investment; the fifth is to ensure energy security; and the sixth is to protect the basic livelihood of the people. Emphasis on the need to do a good job in unemployment insurance and other work.

Li Keqiang asked all local governments to stabilize their economic fundamentals, increase their sense of urgency, and launch policies to stabilize the economy as soon as possible. The State Council will supervise the implementation of local economic stabilization measures.

Li and Xi are different? No mention of "dynamic clearing"

In the official media reports, the whole article revolves around how to stabilize the economy, but there is no mention of "dynamic clearing", which has attracted the attention of some observers.

A report by RFI on 15 May said that Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China, insisted on "dynamic clearing", seriously hurting the economy and ignoring people's livelihood. In contrast to this, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has been calling out "the economic situation is grim" recently.

The "clearing" epidemic prevention measures have led to a rare recession in China's economy. In particular, China's financial center, Shanghai, has been closed for more than a month. In April, the total industrial output value declined by 61.5% compared with the same period last year. China's economic data fell sharply across the board in April, leaving CCP officials "thrilling".

Bloomberg Economics estimates China's economic growth will fall to 2 percent this year, well below the official 5.5 percent rate, which would be the lowest since the end of the Cultural Revolution in 1976.

The Wall Street Journal quoted sources saying that at a time when China's economy is slowing, Li Keqiang, once marginalized, is re-energizing with his own influence, and has become a potential counterbalancing force not seen at the top of the Communist Party in nearly a decade.

Hong Kong's "Ming Pao" said that since the end of April, Li Keqiang has spoken on economic issues three times, and the reporting position given by the state media seems to be more and more important.

On 14 May, Xinhua News Agency published the full text of a speech by Li Keqiang on the economy, which is extremely rare. In his speech at the State Council's clean government work conference, Li Keqiang emphasized that keeping the economy running smoothly is not only an economic issue, but also concerns the overall situation of social stability.

RFI said that some sensitive observers noticed that Li Keqiang said little or no mention of Xi Jinping's "overriding" "zero-covid" epidemic prevention policy.

According to Huari, the growing dissatisfaction with Xi Jinping's policies within the CCP has created opportunities for Li Keqiang and his supporters.

Analysis: The relationship between Xi and Li and the fierce battle of the "Twenty National Congress"

The Epoch Times columnist Wang He believes that there has been a lot of discussion about the power dispute between Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang recently, and Li Keqiang's propaganda status in the official media has also improved, which is related to the personnel layout of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

He said that in 2007 Xi and Li Shuangshuang was promoted to the Standing Committee of the Politburo, and they have worked together for 15 years. If Li had the heart to challenge Xi, they probably would not be where they are today. Li Keqiang has been a weak prime minister since 2013. At present, his propaganda status in the official media has improved.

"On the one hand, the current situation is bad, and Xi hopes that Li will contribute more and carry some burdens. On the other hand, Xi may consider Li staying in office at the 20th National Congress. As long as Xi believes that Li does not pose a threat, the 20th National Congress will be a political party again. A member of the bureau's standing committee is very beneficial to Xi," Wang He said.

First, reduce the political pressure on Xi to break the convention of "two terms of general secretary";

Second, to show Xi's tolerance for others, that he is not alone;

Third, win over the political forces that support Li;

Fourth, the anti-Xi forces will lose one standing committee seat that they can fight for.

On 19 May 2022, Yuan Hongbing, a jurist based in Australia who is familiar with the CCP's political situation, said in an exclusive interview with The Epoch Times that the anti-Xi forces intended to push Li Keqiang to the front but the information he got was that Li Keqiang had actually turned to Xi Jinping.

Yuan Hongbing said that Li Keqiang will support Xi Jinping's re-election at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, will take over as Premier of the State Council. This is a preliminary conclusion drawn from the struggle within the Communist Party of China.

Zhang Wenhong: Omicron-induced inflammation is weaker than influenza

Editor : Shang Yan / Interview : Luo Ya / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/05/24/a103437244.html

Image : Video Screenshot

On 23 May, Shanghai epidemic prevention expert Zhang Wenhong said that the topic of "Omicron-induced inflammation is weaker than influenza" rushed to Weibo's hot search list. Many netizens agreed with him, believing that the authorities should adjust the epidemic prevention policy. However, Li Qiang, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee, still insists on clearing it. Shanghai epidemic prevention expert Zhang Wenhong made the latest research and judgment on the changes in China's epidemic situation and future prevention and control models at the 7th Academic Conference on Respiratory Disease Prevention and Control of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association on 22 May.

Dr. Zhang Wenhong said that the transmission speed of Omicron has exceeded that of chickenpox among existing infectious diseases, so its transmission is difficult to control. In addition, Omicron will induce a certain degree of inflammatory response, but the degree is weaker than that of influenza. But for vulnerable people, this inflammatory response can be lethal.

He also pointed out that the challenges we face are actually not as high as expected, and the main challenges still come from vulnerable group, but further increases in vaccine coverage can prevent severe illness. The covid epidemic will not end in the short term as we need longer time and more patience.

As soon as Dr. Zhang Wenhong's remarks were announced, they immediately rushed to the hot search list on the 23rd. Many netizens agree with him.

Some netizens said, "Listen to the voices of scientists! Stop messing around!" Some netizens said, "I'm really not afraid of getting the covi but I'm afraid that I will be taken to the square cabin for no reason. I immediately went home in silence, I was afraid that my privacy and my itinerary would be unreservedly asked by those transfer personnel!" "You can see the content of the online help for the Shanghai epidemic... This help is basically a secondary disaster."

However, some netizens attacked Zhang Wenhong's remarks.

Taiwanese medical experts pointed out that the Omicron variant is indeed different from the previous one.

Li Longteng, deputy director of the Health Department of the Taiwan Executive Yuan, said,: "Because there are many confirmed cases but the proportion of severe cases is relatively small. So there may be no need to be so nervous. So I think if the mainland China is closed, it should open up a little bit. Because Omicron spreads very quickly, and there are relatively few deaths, so just focus on the one who is seriously ill, take good care of him, and don't let him die, and that's enough."

Dr. Zhang Wenhong also compared the mortality rates of South Korea and Australia, and found that the mortality rates in these two countries were basically maintained between 0.09% and 0.1%. He pointed out that this is also a relatively unified data on Omicron by various countries recently but only if these countries have very high vaccination rates.

Dr. He Meixiang, an expert on virus prevention in Taiwan, said, "Yes, we have also reported in the UK. The key point in the UK is that their vaccination rate, especially the elderly, is really high. The vaccination rate in the UK is probably in the 90s over the age of 65. People over the age of 50 are also in their 80s and 90s. Because these people are high-risk groups. We must be vaccinated before we can reduce the mortality rate to the same as the flu.”

According to the official data of the Chinese Communist Party, as of 5 May, the number of people covered by the covi vaccine nationwide has reached 91.22%, and the number of people over 60 years old who are covered by vaccination also accounts for 86.23% of the elderly population. If this data is true, it should be able to follow the model of "co-existing with the virus" in countries such as the United Kingdom, but the Chinese authorities still insist on adopting a strict zero-covid policy.

Professor Yuan Hongbing, a well-known jurist in Australia, said, "Now the entire global medical authority has clearly stated that the toxicity of the covi (Omicron variant), its toxicity is close to influenza. You can't take advantage of the situation. Change your own policies but stupidly insist on dynamic clearing. By constantly closing the city and constantly clearing, how will the entire country's economy work in the end?"

CCP China reported its worst results in two years on Monday, with consumption at its lowest level and unemployment near an all-time high. Professor Yuan Hongbing, a well-known jurist, quoted statistics from people in the system and said that the zero-covid policy in the previous period may have reduced China's GDP this year by more than 18%.

However, when Li Qiang, secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee hosted a symposium of experts on epidemic prevention and control on 21 May, he still stated that he would implement the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping and unswervingly adhere to the general policy of "dynamic clearing".

A report by the RFI said that the dynamic clearing has been inseparable from Xi Jinping, who is ready to win a third term before the end of the year. However, the Omicron variant currently hitting China highlights the pernicious side of this zero-covid policy, which in turn has damaged Xi Jinping's image.

The CCP has deployed a long-term "clearing" policy, requiring provinces and cities to prepare a certain number of square cabins. Among them, Shangqiu City, Henan Province announced that it will spend 135 million yuan (about 20 million US dollars) to build 1,000 square cabin isolation points.

On 23 May, the Medical Administration and Hospital Administration Bureau of the National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China requested that all localities make use of routine preparations to transform a certain amount of infrastructure, and prepare a certain number of makeshift hospitals under the situation of normalized epidemic prevention.

As early as 10 April, the CCP authorities required all provinces to prepare 2 to 3 square cabin hospitals. Taking Beijing as an example, by the end of April, the reconstruction and reserve task of 4,000 beds had been completed, and large-scale cabin hospitals were being planned and constructed at some large sites. Relevant districts were also working on site selection and planning and reconstruction work of square cabin hospitals.

Henan Shangqiu builds permanent square cabin hospital, plans to invest hundreds of millions

In accordance with the principle of "preparing rather than using, not preparing when unavailable," Henan Province requires all localities to strengthen the reserve of centralized isolation points, and reserve enough isolation rooms as soon as possible at the ratio of 4 rooms per 1,000 people.

Ms. Tao, a citizen of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, told The Epoch Times, "There are square cabins in all provinces and cities, and square cabins are being built everywhere. A few days ago, when the epidemic in Zhengzhou was serious, tens of thousands of people were taken to the square cabin to isolate, and one person in one building was infected. The people in the building were all dragged to the square cabin, and we were so scared that we didn’t dare to go out. Now the community I live in has been adjusted from closed control to management control, but I don’t dare to go out, and everyone is afraid when I mention the square cabin.

Shangqiu, Henan recently spent 135 million RMB (about 20 million U.S. Dollars) to build a permanent makeshift hospital, which has attracted attention.

The Henan Provincial Government Procurement Network announced on 19 May that Henan Tianheng Engineering Management Co., Ltd. was entrusted by the Shangqiu Epidemic Prevention Headquarters Office to undertake the general contracting of the Shangqiu shelter isolation point project and the procurement of mobile medical waste disposal equipment, and it is planning source mode procurement method to solicit comments.

The project is divided into two packages. Package 1 is to build 1,000 shelters for isolation points; Package 2 is to purchase one mobile medical waste microwave disinfection equipment and one medical waste transfer vehicle. In terms of purchase amount, the first package is more than 135 million RMB (about 20 million US Dollars), and the second package is 3.64 million RMB (about 540,000 US Dollars), and the suppliers are two different companies.

A staff member of the Shangqiu Epidemic Prevention Headquarters Office told The Paper that "the construction will definitely be permanent."

The square cabin is located in the south of the Fifth People's Hospital in the Shangqiu Demonstration Zone, and is the first large-scale isolation point in the area. According to data from the Shangqiu Municipal Bureau of Statistics, in 2021, the city's GDP will be more than 308.3 billion RMB (about 46 billion U.S. Dollars), ranking seventh in the province. In addition, in 2021, the general public revenue of Shangqiu will be 19.01 billion RMB (about 2.8 billion US Dollars), and the expenditure will be 55.61 billion RMB (about 8.3 billion U.S. Dollars). Therefore, it is quite surprising that Shangqiu has become the first city in China to publicly respond to the construction of permanent square cabins.

More than 100 square cabin hospitals in Shanghai

Shanghai officials pointed out on 9 April that more than 100 makeshift hospitals have been built in Shanghai, half of which are from reconstruction and half from new construction. According to a research report by Huachuang Securities, the investment in Shanghai square cabin hospitals is about 16 billion RMB (about 2.4 billion U.S. Dollars), accounting for about 2.06% of the fiscal revenue in 2021.

Ma Xianghong, a Japanese commentator, told The Epoch Times that since the government requires provinces and cities to build shelters, the CCP's "clearing" policy will be long-term. The people's pockets have been "cleared", and the small, medium and micro enterprises have been "cleared".

Shanghai has been closed for nearly two months. Due to the continuous positive confirmed cases, many districts announced "opening" and then announced "blockade" again. . Some writers believe that Shanghai has become "Kaifeng".

Multiple districts issued notices, temporary "exit permits" were temporarily suspended

As public opinion continued to build momentum for Shanghai's unblocking and resumption of work and production, on 20 May 2022 , Hongkou District issued a "Notice to Hongkou Residents", requiring all personnel in the district to carry out three consecutive three-day activities from 20 to 22 May. Rounds of nucleic acid screening continue and those who do not participate in nucleic acid testing will be marked with a yellow code.

During the period, supermarkets and shops along the street will be closed, all personnel will stay at home, and the "exit permits" that have been issued will be suspended.

On the 21st the next day, Jing'an District officials also issued a notice to residents with similar content, from 22 to 24 May.

Mr. Zhang, a resident of Hongkou District, told The Epoch Times on the 22nd, "The government brags all day long to release it, but it can't release it. It is impossible to clear the epidemic situation now, and this (epidemic prevention) method will definitely not work. If this continues, it will not be released in June."

He said that during the three consecutive days of nucleic acid screening, there were positive cases in the community every day. "Another positive case was pulled this afternoon. And there must be errors in nucleic acid screening. "So many people do nucleic acid tests, and there must be false positives among them. Once a person with a false positive is caught in the square cabin, it will become a true positive. I have a friend who tested negative for antigens by himself, but was sent to an isolation point by a 'false positive', and was sent home three days later. "

He also worried that because of the interest chain of nucleic acid, logistics, group buying, etc., these people with high profits hope to keep it like this forever. The vaccinations didn't work, but recently we started to be vaccinated, and it became a business.

Ms. Wang, a resident of Jing'an District, also introduced to The Epoch Times on the 22nd that her community has been closed all the time. "I haven't even issued a temporary exit permit, so I can't go out. Now it's an endless feeling."

Image : Jing'an District announced that it will be closed for three more days. The supplies were distributed on the first day, but the residents no longer wanted the supplies, but wanted to go out and buy them for themselves. (web screenshot)

In this round of lockdown in Jing'an District, the distribution of materials was opened on the first day, but some residents said that night, "I do antigen + single-tube nucleic acid in the morning, and I will distribute materials in the afternoon. Buy it." "I originally thought that I could go outside the community to have a look, but Jing'an District announced today that it will start three consecutive days of nucleic acid for all staff. I am so tired and speechless."

In response to the official announcement that express delivery has resumed, a resident of Jing'an District publicly questioned: "May 22, has express delivery really resumed? I can wait, but why was it arranged to be returned when I arrived at the door of Jing'an District, Shanghai?"

In addition, some residents of Changning District publicly stated on the 22nd that we also began to prevent people in the area from leaving the community today and stopped issuing (passes)! The so-called epidemic prevention is too much! Do your own thing!

Fengxian South Bridge informed residents overnight to go to the supermarket to snap up

Fengxian is the first large area in Shanghai to achieve social zero-covid, and its area is almost half the size of Shanghai. It has officially announced an orderly opening since 13 May 2022.

There are eight towns in Fengxian, one of which is Nanqiao Town, which is the political, economic, cultural and information center in the area. At night of 18 May, the large vegetable market in Nanqiao Town was suddenly crowded with people lining up to buy. In the outgoing video, the resident introduced, "Everyone received a notice at night that it may be blocked for ten days, and all those who came out to queue to buy vegetables, now the traffic is controlled. ."

Mr. Chen from Fengxian District told The Epoch Times that Nanqiao Town said that one positive case was found, so it was like this, and everyone was like an enemy, and they were locked up for another ten days. Then look again. Then, no new ones are released and then released. After they are released, one is released and then sealed again, that is, the seal is opened. Once it is sealed and opened, it will be in this state, and this will become "opened".

He said that the current reset is a "Damocles sword", "To see if you can keep your black gauze hat, you can see if there is a positive. If there is a positive, he is like a big enemy, and he will take measures. Extreme means, don't take away this 'Sword of Damocles', Shanghai's unblocking is far away."

He also said that he can take a walk in a nearby park with a temporary exit pass, but many people in Shanghai are not as lucky as him. "My friend is in Jing'an District. There are 33 gates in their community. At present, only two gates are not positive. People are pulled out of nucleic acid every two days. Someone was pulled out again. He doesn't know how covi came out, it seems that aliens got it in."

Writer Fan Haixin recently wrote an article "Shanghai may change to Kaifeng". He believes that this is determined by the characteristics of the mysterious Omicron. This wave of mysterious Omicron epidemics in the West basically have a large area of infection, and finally the formation of natural immunity is close to the target of the end of the covid epidemic.

He said that even after the unblocking of Shanghai, positive patients will appear one after another, and it will continue. Even precise prevention and control cannot stop its spreading momentum. If it is still overwhelming, Shanghai can only enter the Kaifeng state of endless tossing. The epidemic will not stop until the number of infected people reaches several million.

In the end, he said that if Shanghai remains unchanged from Kaifeng, the only way to fight the epidemic is to follow the path of the vast majority of countries in the world.

From Pu Shi Medical, a look at nucleic acid detection scams in Beijing

Recently, a third-party nucleic acid testing institution named "Pu Shi Medical" in Fangshan District, Beijing was suddenly investigated because it was found that "the original test data was significantly less than the number of samples tested" . Regarding this official notification, the person in charge of the testing department of a CDC pointed out that this means that "there are cases where results are issued directly without testing in large batches", because "each sample will have a corresponding map during testing. , no map is no detection.”

When analyzing the reason why the agency "issued results directly without testing", the person in charge also mentioned that it may be because "the actual testing capabilities of third-party testing agencies cannot keep up with the speed requirements of large-scale accounting and screening"; Because the testing agency wants to use "less experiments and only results" to carry out "illegal profit".

Think about it carefully, whether "the detection capability can't keep up with large-scale nucleic acid screening", or it wants to make profits through improper means, such a company can't be just "Pu Shi Medical". Otherwise, the person in charge of the above-mentioned CDC will not speak out in public, "the local regulatory authorities need to further consolidate their regulatory responsibilities."

National Health Commission claims the laboratories have passed 99.7% pass rate

Just last week, the ombudsman of the Medical Administration and Hospital Administration Bureau of the CCP National Health  Commission also publicly boasted that "there are 13,000 medical and health institutions in China that can carry out nucleic acid testing"; …has been significantly improved”; “Currently, the inter-laboratory quality assessment conducted on more than 35,000 laboratories shows that the pass rate has reached 99.7%”.

News (16)

105 ineligible laboratories in China, inaccurate nucleic acid testing results

However, even at the 99.7% pass rate of 35,000 institutions, 105 were ineligible. That is to say, there are far more institutions that do not have the ability to detect or even fake the results than the exposed Zhengzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing. What is even more ironic is that the "Pu Shi Medical" in Beijing is even the "first batch of qualified third-party covi nucleic acid testing institutions" recognized by the Medical Administration and Hospital Administration. This is enough to show that they are not only the lowest-level testing institutions, they are also the highest-level administrative units with the power to approve and supervise can be fooled in "nucleic acid testing".

News (17)

The Chinese laboratories are profiteering from the CCP

Not long ago, Yu Luming, director of the Beijing Health Commission, was sacked due to "suspected nucleic acid test commissions", which has already made many people see that China's nucleic acid test cannot be just a means of "unjustified profit-making" used by individual profiteers. When "Golden Miles is a big deal", someone wrote an article pointing out that such profiteers make a lot of money, but it is difficult to get money back, because "the customer of nucleic acid testing is either a medical institution or a local government", and it is the "public budget" that moves. This money is in the state treasury, and is undoubtedly paid by the Chinese people, but the only one that has the right to spend is the CCP group. Whether it is ordering, organizing, or forcing the nucleic acid of all employees, or approving and supervising those testing institutions, they can basically get a share of it.

In order to allow the "public budget" to flow into the pockets of various "Zhao family members" without being questioned, the CCP has to make a clever plan. Under the order of "dynamic clearing", even if there are only a few dozen infected people in the population of more than 20 million, the nucleic acid of all employees has reason to be pushed down. Although this kind of absurdity in Beijing makes people laugh and laugh, in order to continue the performance, the relevant departments have to continue to come up with new reasons. In this way, the "false negative" came on stage.

News (18)

Absurd full-staff nucleic acid testing

Once the term "false negative" is born, it means that there are still "positive" patients who have not been detected, so "intensifying the investigation to stop the spread of the epidemic as soon as possible" has become the best reason for the next round of  all-staff nucleic acid testing. This is also one of the goals of the CCP’s official media to criticize individual unqualified testing institutions in public. With institutions such as "Pu Shi Medical" taking the blame, Beijing continues to implement absurd full-staff testing, which makes it a famous teacher.

News (19)

CCP agencies pushing hard extreme containment and control measures

At the same time as the strong push of nucleic acids, vaccines can also be pushed hard, and more extreme containment and control have become more necessary. As long as there is a potential "positive" patient and an unqualified nucleic acid testing institution, the Chinese must unconditionally obey the "clearing".

In addition, taking unqualified testing institutions as an example also exposes another purpose of the CCP, which is to cover up the fact that nucleic acid testing itself cannot avoid "false negatives".

News (20)

False negatives reflect self-deception of nucleic acid tests

As early as 2020, at the beginning of the outbreak, an academician under the CCP said in public, "The nucleic acid test has only a positive rate of 30% to 50%. That is to say, even among the confirmed cases, there are many who did not have nucleic acid tests or detected". When talking about the reasons for "false negatives", the official also mentioned that "it is related to the sensitivity of detection technology", but even if the technical level is improved now, it can only make "the false negative rate continue to decrease", but not completely zero. A nucleic acid test that can go wrong at any time due to force majeure, but the CCP uses it as the "gold standard" and "indispensable means". This is either self-deception or ulterior motives.

News (21)

CCP deliberately cleansing itself will not stop criticisms against it and will sink continuously

It is clear that he is making a fortune in the country, but he has to find a "scapegoat" to take the blame. To blame can only blame "zero-covid" for being too absurd, and tens of millions of people were tossed with their lives for the "diagnosed" dozens of people. This kind of anger and resentment can even see the clues of pinky citizens who have been brainwashed for a long time. How turbulent the people will be. If it were not for this, the relevant departments in Beijing would not use the agencies approved by themselves to engage in such "low-level black". The question is, since they are all black to the end, why should the CCP deliberately "clean up" itself. This will not only make it difficult to block people's mouths, but will also make itself more and more black.

Beijing's blockade and control have intensified, and colleges and universities have been closed one after another. It was reported on the Internet that some students of China University of Political Science and Law protested and successfully obtained the right to leave school and return home. The next day, students of Beijing Normal University also held a parade on campus, and it is said that the school has also compromised.

In the evening of 24 May, a video of the campus parade of Beijing Normal University students was circulated on the Internet, showing a large number of students gathered, and someone shouting with loudspeakers at the scene.

There is also a video showing hundreds of students gathered in front of the Jiduan Gymnasium of Beijing Normal University and confronted the school. There were female students crying to the school staff at the scene.

According to online news, most of the students of Beijing Normal University protested that the school stopped offline teaching but did not allow students to go home for online classes, so they called a parade, demanding the school to clarify the holiday time, allow students to return home, clarify the method and time of the final exam, and promise not to. Students at revenge march, etc.

The students stated their demands online, and asked the school to stop the in-school and offline classes. Why are students not allowed to return to their hometowns for online classes and take final exams online? Why are students from other universities in Haidian District allowed to go home?

According to the news from the students of Beijing Normal University that night, the school administrators have at least made a verbal commitment to allow students to apply for leaving the school, and promised not to settle accounts for the students who marched in the fall. A student recorded a video as evidence.

The university requires returning students to provide documentation of parental consent and approval from the receiving community. Because of the CCP's strict epidemic prevention policy, many local governments refuse to accept "people from the epidemic area", so some netizens worry that even if Beijing Normal University allows students to leave the varsity, how many students can successfully obtain the consent form of the receiving community? Still unknown.

On 21 May, Beijing's Haidian District announced that it would implement a one-week "global static control measures" starting that day, and each community and village would implement closed management. Universities in the area immediately began to close their schools.

According to online news, some students from China University of Political Science and Law also organized a protest the night before the parade of Beijing Normal University students (23rd), making similar demands. The next day, the varsity issued a notice allowing students to apply to leave the school, again subject to the consent of parents and the receiving community.

The CCP’s zero-covid policy makes Shanghai people’s depression rate high

The CCP insists on dynamic clearing, and it has reached the point of going crazy. Tianjin, which has just been unblocked, re-entered the city's "relatively static state" on 21 May 2022 while the number of confirmed covid cases in Beijing has continued to rise. Many districts implement home office work mode. After Shanghai announced on 16 May 2022 that it would resume business and production in three phases, there were confirmed cases in the society on 20 May, and the closure and control measures were upgraded again.

Shanghai, which has been under lockdown for two months, has experienced a lack of food and medicine. Hospitals refuse to admit covid deaths, babies were taken away from their parents for isolation, nucleic acid negative people were forcibly sent to square cabins, and elderly people in welfare homes were sent to crematoriums as dead people. After the owners were quarantined, the pets were beaten to death on the streets. The police came to threaten the three generations, and after the catastrophic household killing and other secondary disasters, many Shanghai people felt physically and mentally exhausted.

Confusion, anxiety, depression, and fear are the real feelings of many Shanghai residents. A survey report on 1,021 Shanghai residents conducted by the WeChat public account “Zhao Lu Ming” showed that more than 40% of Shanghai residents were depressed while according to Baidu statistics, since April, the number of residents searching for "psychological counseling" in Shanghai has increased by 253% compared with the same period of 2021, and the number of calls to Shanghai's psychological hotline has tripled compared to usual. The level has doubled, and by 40 to 50 days, people's anxiety has reached its peak. Some residents of Pudong have been severely "dissociated" due to the long period of closure.

"Dissociation state" means that people's subjective consciousness has been separated from the objective world, such as: what day is today, how many days are blocked, whether to eat or not, etc. gradually lose the concept, the taste of drinking tea is getting weaker and weaker, and then develop symptom of schizophrenia. The psychiatrist said that some people say that they are going crazy, which is not nonsense.

In addition, there are many people who frequently feel low, hopeless, and lack of interest and fun in everything. A female doctor from Shanghai Jiaotong University said, "My psychological condition is another one that I will not describe. You call me a psychiatrist for consultation. I don't know what I want to consult. I don't have a very painful trauma. But my mental state is obviously not normal. It seems that there is nothing to look forward to." Due to the 14-day isolation mechanism that has been restarted on campus, people are endlessly wandering between hope and disappointment, leading to a mental breakdown.

Stringent toilet and canteen regulations in dormitories lead to the collapse of Shanghai students

The college life of college students has experienced home-based online classes and isolation in the school dormitory. 4 to 6 students live in a 20-square-metre dormitory day after day, which makes many students unable to enjoy the university. Happy time aside, they feel "reading = jail". At the same time, it has become a huge problem for students to eat, bathe, and even go to the toilet, which is also the key reason for the collapse of students. The school's food is monotonous and small; the bathing time is specified, and even later, the bathing is not allowed at all, and the washing machine cannot be used; the toilet pit and the hand-washing faucet correspond to the dormitory number; the toilet needs to be applied online, and it is limited to one day and can only go twice.

Anxiety and depression among the quarantined is higher than that of non-quarantined persons

A study conducted by Chinese scholars in early 2020 showed that the incidence of anxiety and depression among quarantined persons was significantly higher than that of non-quarantined persons. Abnormal life brings people various worries, concerns, anxiety and other emotions. When they accumulate in people’s heart and cannot be resolved and vented, depression will occur. The way". A study by Zhou Maigeng and others from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention found that the suicide death rate in Wuhan increased by 66% in the first three months of the outbreak.

The two-month closure of the city and households in Shanghai has pushed the tolerance of Shanghai residents to the limit. In the past few days, there have been a lot of jumping videos circulating on the Internet.

A list of recent epidemic suicides in Shanghai

On 18 May 2022, in the living area of Shanghai Dafeng Electronics Factory, a person suspected of falling from a building was pulled away by a funeral home vehicle. The netizen who uploaded the video said: "One yesterday, another today...". Netizens also said that because of the long-term lockdown, many workers lost control of their emotions, some crying, and some hitting the wall themselves;

At 11:00 p.m. on 18 May 2022, a resident jumped to his death in Xinghuayuan Community, Yongkang City, Minhang District, Shanghai;

On 19 May 2022, a young man allegedly fell from the 6th floor in Taopu Town, Putuo, Shanghai to his death;

On 19 May 2022, in a community in Pudong, Shanghai, a man jumped off a building under the watchful eyes of volunteers carrying supplies.

Some people say, "It's more than 40%, 80% of Shanghai people are depressed." But the CCP turns a blind eye to the suffering of people's livelihood, regardless of the cost and consequences. At the same time, the CCP quarantines people in the name of preventing and controlling the virus, which is actually an extreme civil defense measure. Under all kinds of pressure, the people have come to the point where they will break out if they press one more straw.

On 20 May 2022, the secretary of the Jingxinfang neighborhood committee in Shanghai's Minhang district was stabbed in the neck by a resident. It can be seen from the official "Situation Statement" that the resident had a conflict with the secretary when the neighborhood committee requested to go out for medical treatment, which led to the tragedy.

Basic rights to consult a doctor are not guaranteed under CCP rule

Residents seek medical treatment when they are ill but they request to go to the neighborhood committee to issue a certificate and write a letter of commitment. People's basic rights to see a doctor are not guaranteed, which fully shows the CCP's disregard for people's lives. Netizens said, "Shanghai continues to operate like this. This is just the beginning. I can't bear it anymore."

News (28)

CCP has to address psychological matters

The CCP’s adherence to the zero-covid policy is determined by its nature. There is only struggle in the CCP's dictionary, and it regards the virus as an enemy, so the virus must be eliminated. Such a narrow-minded and egoistic CCP has made many Shanghainese depressed. It is foreseeable that under the Party's policy of dynamic clearing, today's Shanghai is the tomorrow of Beijing, Tianjin and other cities. The psychological problems of people under the endless blockade and control may be a big problem that the CCP needs to face in the future.

After more than 10 countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and the Czech Republic speak for Taiwan at the World Health Assembly

Reporter : Zhong Yuan / Editor : Ye Ziwei / https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/22/5/25/n13744722.htm

The World Health Assembly (WHA) on the 23rd again rejected the proposal to "invite Taiwan to participate in the WHA as an observer", following the United States, Britain, France and Germany. After 10 countries including the U.S., UK, France, Germany, Canada and Australia, Japan and the Czech Republic also joined the WHA on the 24th voicing support for Taiwan.

The 75th WHA was held in Geneva from 22 to 28 May. President of the Republic of China Su Zhenchang pointed out on the 21st that Taiwan was not invited to participate in the WHA due to the political interference of the CCP, and hoped that all countries would continue to express their support for Taiwan's participation. President Tsai Ing-wen emphasized on the 21st that Taiwan has the ability and willingness to contribute to the world, and thanked many countries for their support for Taiwan's participation in the WHA. Taiwan will continue to stand firmly with the world's important partners in support of democracy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China stated that 13 friendly countries firmly supported Taiwan's participation in the WHA, and the proposal called on the World Health Organization (WHO) to invite Taiwan to attend the WHA as an observer; "10 countries with similar ideas and the Knights of Malta also participated in the meeting. Our country has a strong voice.” The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere gratitude to allies and like-minded countries for showing more firm and clear support for Taiwan this year.

Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "This year, our allies have continued to demonstrate their firm stance in support of Taiwan through various means, including proposals, letters, deputies, and speeches at the conference. Countries with similar ideologies expressed their support for Taiwan at the conference with even greater strength and voice. In the past, the Knights of the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Canada, Luxembourg, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Japan and Malta have expressed their support for my WHA case by speaking directly.”

Shigeyuki Goto, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, said in a speech on the 24th that he would like to emphasize, "We should refer to good examples in the region that have successfully fought against the Wuhan pneumonia (CCP virus), such as Taiwan. On global health issues such as the prevention and control of infectious diseases, we should not leave out specific areas and create a geographic vacuum. Only in this way can we prevent infectious diseases from spreading globally.”

Václav BÁLEK, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations in Geneva, said, "No one can be left out. We must all stand together in the fight against COVID-19. That is why the Czech Republic fully supports Taiwan as an observer. Identity participation in the WHA."

Permanent Representative of the Observer Mission of the Knights of Malta to the United Nations Geneva Branch and other international organizations Teresa. According to Marie-Thérèse Pictet-Althann, the humanitarian agency of the Knights of Malta, Malteser International, aims to strengthen resilience and build trust in emergency health issues, thereby promoting peacebuilding and reconciliation and preventing incitement to violence. The successful implementation of these actions requires the complete inclusiveness of all social sectors and countries without any discrimination, such as the medical cooperation between the Knights of Malta and Taiwan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the five countries of France, Germany, Lu, Li and the Czech Republic clearly mentioned Taiwan in their speeches at the WHA for the first time, affirming Taiwan's contribution to the fight against the Wuhan pneumonia (CCP virus) epidemic, and emphasizing that Taiwan should be included in the global health structure. Only the international community can benefit from Taiwan's anti-epidemic experience and scientific and technological talents.

"Faced with the strong voice of justice given to Taiwan by friends in the international community," Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the CCP continued to falsely claim that China had made proper arrangements for Taiwan's participation in global health affairs when exercising its right of defense, with the intention of misleading international audiences.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Barbara De Rosa-Joynt, a senior health adviser to the U.S. State Department, immediately sternly refuted it, emphasizing that the purpose of the establishment of the WHO is to coordinate international health work, and it is more necessary to include all stakeholders, especially since it has successfully proven to fight the Wuhan pneumonia (covid) epidemic in Taiwan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Taiwan has attended the WHA as an observer from 2009 to 2016, which proves that there are no legal obstacles for Taiwan to participate in the WHA as an observer. Therefore, the United States will continue its long-term policy and support Taiwan's meaningful participation in the WHO, including the WHO. international organization.

"The strong support of friendly countries and countries with similar ideas to Taiwan's participation in the WHA is a great encouragement to our country's proposal. We are deeply grateful." The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Taiwan will uphold the spirit of "professionalism, pragmatism, and contribution" and continue to be active and active, work closely with allies and like-minded countries to jointly safeguard global health security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also calls on the WHO to uphold professionalism and neutrality, exclude the political interference of the Chinese Communist Party, and promptly accept Taiwan's equal and dignified participation in all WHO meetings, activities and mechanisms based on the consideration of safeguarding the health and well-being of all mankind.

PLA plans to develop weapon to destroy Elon Musk's Starlink satellites to protect "national security"

Chinese military researchers have been drawing up plans to destroy Elon Musk's Starlink satellite system should Beijing deem them a threat to Chinese national security.

A paper published last month stated that China needs to develop capabilities to track and monitor and if necessary destroy each and every Starlink satellite in orbit around the Earth.

News (31)

Starlink has potential military applications

Starlink is a satellite constellation system operated by Musk's SpaceX company, which involves - at latest count - 2,400 satellite relays in low-earth orbit that can beam super highspeed internet data anywhere on the planet.

It has been hailed for providing superfast internet to developing countries and poorer regions of the Earth, but it also has potential military applications which Beijing is wary of.

The study was led by Ren Yuanzhen, a researcher with the Beijing Institute of Tracking and Telecommunications under the PLA's Strategic Support Force. Co-authors included several senior scientists in China's defence industry.

"A combination of soft and hard kill methods should be adopted to make some Starlink satellites lose their functions and destroy the constellation's operating system," the paper said, published in domestic peer-reviewed journal Modern Defence Technology.

Starlink for developing sensitive instruments able to detect and track hypersonic weapons

Musk's SpaceX has signed a contract with the US Department of Defense to use the Starlink platform for military purposes, including the development of sensitive instruments capable of detecting and tracking hypersonic weapons travelling at five times the speed of sounds in the Earth's atmosphere - technology Beijing is known to be developing.

The thousands of Starlink satellites spanning the skies over the planet - with filings showing SpaceX plans to launch as many as 30,000 over the coming decade - are also equipped with ion thrusters that allow them to change orbits rapidly and transform into low-earth battering rams against high value targets in space, Ren's team believe.

News (33)

Why Starlink poses treat to CCP

Ren estimates that via a Starlink connection US military drones and stealth fighter jets could augment their data transfer one hundred fold, leading Beijing to conclude that the Starlink system - for all the benefits it can provide to the planet - is a potential threat to Chinese national security.

But destroying the network would be an extreme feat for Chinese military planners, as by its nature the network can afford to lose some satellites and continue to function.

News (34)

PLA to expand CCP China's satellite killing capabilities

Capabilities that Ren thinks China needs to develop include super-sharp space surveillance satellites to spy on the Starlink system, and capabilities to intercept and analyse the data being transmitted to pre-empt threats.

He also believes China needs to expand its satellite killing capabilities to more cost-effectively destroy multiple targets such as Starlink, although there would be a widescale risk of space debris that might impact other space functionality.

'The Starlink constellation constitutes a decentralised system. The confrontation is not about individual satellites, but the whole system.

'This requires some low-cost, high-efficiency measures,' said the researchers without elaborating on the methods of attack.

CCP has developed alternative technologies to jam communications

According to openly available information, China has been developing numerous alternative anti-satellite technologies, including microwaves that can jam communications or burn electronic components.

Chinese scientists have also developed lasers for blinding or damaging satellites, nano-sats that can be launched in huge numbers to cripple bigger satellites, and cyber weapons to hack into the satellite communication network.

An unnamed Beijing-based space scientist said 'the mainstream opinion, as far as I know, is that our countermeasures should be constructive. That means building our own internet satellite networks.'

Mastercard to offer biometric payment methods later in Asia and the Middle East

Mastercard recently launched a program for retailers to offer biometric payment methods, like facial recognition and fingerprint scanning. At the checkout, users will be forced to authenticate their payment by showing their face or the palm of their hand instead of being allowed to pay by card or with cash.

The program has already gone live in five St Marche grocery stores in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with more trials also planned for Asia and the Middle East. Mastercard says it plans to roll it out globally later this year.

The payments company wants to roll the programme out worldwide for small and large retailers. Ajay Bhalla, the president of cyber and intelligence at Mastercard, said: “The way we pay needs to keep pace with the way we live, work and do business, offering choice to consumers with the highest levels of security.

“Our goal with this new programme is to make shopping a great experience for consumers and merchants alike, providing the best of both security and convenience.

“All the research that we’ve done has told us that consumers love biometrics”.

News (38)

Mastercard forcing the public to live in cashless society

The current spin being used to justify using the biometric payment system and forcing the public to live in a dystopian cashless society is that it will “lead to shorter queues, be more hygienic than tapping in a pin, and be less vulnerable to fraud”.

A spokesman for Mastercard said, “No more fumbling for your phone or hunting for your wallet when you have your hands full – the next generation of in-person payments will only need a quick smile or wave of your hand. The trusted technology that uses your face or fingerprint to unlock your phone can now be used to help consumers speed through the checkout. With Mastercard’s new Biometric Checkout Programme, all you will need is yourself.”

News (39)

Dangers of implementing biometrics

Mastercard cited a study that claims 74% of the global population has a “positive attitude” towards biometrics. That number is highly questionable, but are the 74% aware of the dangers of implementing this kind of technology?

All the systems of Digital ID and data-gathering are vulnerable to security breaches. The Equifax breach, for example, compromised an astonishing 145.5 million Social Security numbers. Because of the potential for cyber breaches, hacks in the future could even larger and put entire systems at risk.

The rise of artificial intelligence also means that, as data from Digital ID systems is gathered, algorithms are being built that may have a major impact on people. These systems, though, like the data itself, are neither transparent in operation nor clear even as to who or what is building them, and for what purposes.

News (40)

Biometrics will raise cost of consumer options, cash preferred

It may be, in the future, that people will find they no longer have consumer options such as low-cost bank loans due to the decisions of algorithms whose workings are not transparent to the public.

The only way to stop the implementation of this Draconian system is to always pay with cash whilst the use of this new technology remains optional.
