Although a variety of vaccines against covid have been developed, most of them are ineffective against mutant strains. Peimine, an alkaloid extracted from a herb fritillaria (specifically Fritillaria thunbergii), has protection against certain virus variants, according to a study by China Medical University in Taiwan. Due to its function, peimine may be developed as a drug, health supplement and fritillaria may be food for covid patients.

The research was published in the July 2022 issue of the Journal of Food Biochemistry and is accessible on Wiley Online Library.

Since the covid outbreak, many vaccines have been introduced to the market. The team said the mRNA vaccine was up to 95 percent effective in preventing SARS-CoV-2 (covi) infection. However, many studies have shown that vaccines lack effectiveness against certain virus variants.

The research team's experiments proved that peimine can block the binding of the virus's spike protein to the human cell receptor ACE-2, thereby preventing the covi from invading cells. Peimine is also effective against many variant strains and is not cytotoxic even at relatively high concentrations.

Therefore, peimine is a relatively safe new drug. The study also found that in addition to Fritillaria thunbergii, various species of Fritillaria also protect people from covi infection.

Fritillaria plants are very common in traditional Chinese medicine, and the varieties include Sichuan Fritillaria (chuanbei), Zhejiang Fritillaria (zhebei), Dark Purple Fritillaria (Fritillaria unibracteata) and so on. Their functions include clearing heat, resolving phlegm, and relieving cough.

Fritillaries are not only found in China but also found in Japan, Iran, Turkey, the Central Asia republics and Europe.

Medical research has shown that peimine's anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties also have anti-cancer effects.

研究:血液检测可以发现“早期阶段癌症”

A simple blood test can detect a variety of underlying cancers in patients, which could help health services make early cancer screenings, according to a new study. check.

The study, called "The Pathfinder," is a blood-based pan-cancer early screening (MCED, which detects the presence of multiple cancers). The researchers offered the Galleri Test to 6,621 subjects aged 50 and older, most of whom came back negative, but found 92 at risk of cancer.

Further testing confirmed that 35 of them had solid tumours or blood cancers, and one of the subjects was also found to have two cancers. Of the 36 cancers detected in total, 14 were still in the early stages, and 26 were diseases that were not detected by routine screening at an early stage.

The test found 19 solid tumours in tissues including breast, liver, lung and colon, as well as the presence of ovarian and pancreatic cancers, which used to be diagnosed at an advanced stage with poor survival rates. Low.

"The most exciting thing about this new test is that it detects both solid and liquid tumors, which is really a multi-cancer early screening technology." Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York "I think it's really a new concept that shows that blood testing for cancer is completely feasible," said Deb Schrag, Ph.

In addition to detecting the presence of disease, Galleri screening can predict the location of cancer, allowing doctors to quickly track the location and further diagnose.

When a blood test is positive, a diagnosis is usually available within three months, Schrager said.

Described by the National Health Service England as a "potential game-changer", the Galleri test will be expanded to 165,000 people next year, with doctors hoping to detect cancer early with a rapid test Makes treatments and surgeries more effective and saves more lives.

Naser Turabi, director of Cancer Research UK, said,  "Detecting cancer through a blood test, which used to be science fiction, is now an important area of cancer research that offers hope to patients. But we need larger data, especially how long patients live after cancer is detected, to further evaluate this test."

Schrager said that while the screening is not yet ready for universal use, it still heralds a future that could offer a "completely different approach to cancer screening" that could give more patients hope of survival.

The findings were presented to the European Society of Medical Oncology Congress in Paris, France, on 11 September 2022.

SCO summit ends, member states disagree on Russia-Ukraine war

Reporters : Li Mei and Lin Mingdi / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/09/17/a103530669.html

With Russia's recent counterattacks in eastern Ukraine and frequent defeats, at this "Shanghai Cooperation Organization" summit, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in front of Putin, publicly criticized this issue. The nearly seven-month war began with criticism.

On the sidelines of the SCO summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a live-television bilateral summit with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who told Putin he had a different view of the war.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "I know today's era is not an era of war. I have discussed this with you many times on the phone. Democracy, diplomacy and dialogue bring the whole world together."

Putin responded that he understood Modi's concerns and wanted to end it as soon as possible but he accused Ukraine of refusing to negotiate.

Modi's criticism at the SCO summit surprised Russian President Vladimir Putin and exposed Russia's drift away from the West and beyond over its invasion of Ukraine.

Also some of the SCO's Central Asian members are concerned that Russia may encroach on their lands.

Kazakhstan, in particular, has refused to listen to Russia and has provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Kazakh President Tokayev has publicly refused to recognize the independence of two separatist regions in eastern Ukraine backed by Russia.

Uzbekistan also explicitly called on Russia to stop aggression against Ukraine and find a diplomatic solution.

"Russia's war against Ukraine has made Central Asia very anxious," said Qiu Zhien, a senior researcher at the OSCE Institute, in an interview with DW.

Central Asian countries are looking for new partners in the Arab world and South Asia, she said, as they do not want to be too dependent on CCP China or Russia on the Ukraine and Taiwan tensions.

Kazakh president signs law to shorten presidential term, revert capital's name to the old name

哈萨克总统签署法律 缩短总统任期、更改首都名称

The Kazakh parliament approved a law on 16 September 2022 to limit the presidential term and restore the capital's old name. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law on the 17th. According to the announcement of the decree on the website of the Presidential Palace, the above-mentioned changes will take effect immediately.

This is Tokayev's latest move to overturn the previous policy. The new bill shortens the presidential term from the current two five-year terms to one seven-year term.

Tokayev also changed the name of the capital back to the old name of Astana. In March 2019, the country's capital was renamed Nur-sultan in honor of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the founding leader who ruled Kazakhstan for nearly 30 years.

Tokayev, a former diplomat, was hand-picked by Nazarbayev to take over as president in 2019. He launched reforms after taking office and called for "new standards for a fair and open game of the political system".

Kazakhstan, one of the most stable countries in Central Asia, declared its independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union. More than 200 people were killed in riots in January when the oil-rich country was shaken by violent social protests and political instability over soaring fuel prices.

Tokayev also called for an early presidential election this fall, although the exact date has not yet been set.

Is Kazakhstan the next Ukraine?

The Central News Agency reported in August that former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Kazakhstan was the next Ukraine, sparking discussions about whether Moscow could once again attack its neighbours. Scholars have pointed out that it is impossible to predict Russia's foreign policy with rational standards. However, the development paths of the two countries have gradually diverged. Whether Russia is willing to let its ally Kazakh go its own way has made the outside world highly doubtful.

Temur Umarov, a scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, pointed out in an article on the 10th that Maivedev's remarks reflect the Russian hawkish mentality, and are fully in line with Russian political discussions, which have no taboos. situation.

Ma Temu said that Belarus is generally considered to be Russia's closest ally, followed by Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan continues to participate in all Russian integration programmes, such as the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), which cooperates with Russia in defence. In addition, Kazakhs fell into violent conflict in January, and President Tokayev remained in power, thanks to the Kremlin.

He pointed out, however, that since the outbreak of the Ukraine war, Kazakhs have joined the Western bloc to sanction Russia, and when the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) took place in June, Tokayev said in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin that Kazakhs would not Recognition of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic supported by Russia and established on its own. Many people in Russia today believe that Kazakhs are not worthy of being called an ally.

Kazakh not only talks, but also provides Ukrainian humanitarian aid and maintains contacts with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Kazakhs banned the posting of Russian military propaganda signs in public places, the government cancelled the May 9 Victory Day military parade and approved an anti-war rally in the largest city, Almaty.

Therefore, when Kazakh oil was blocked from exporting through Russia, many people wondered whether it was Russia's retaliation, Ma Temu said.

Against this background, Maivedev suggested that following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, attention may turn to Kazakhs, many believe. But will Russia really come into conflict with another neighbor?

Ma Temu said that Kazakh has made political statements that displeased Russia, but this has never stopped the close cooperation between the two countries. However, divergences in the direction of the bilateral economy appear to have emerged, with Kazakhs not immediately assisting Russian companies bypassing Western sanctions, but welcoming companies leaving Russia with open arms. Russia is unlikely to be happy with this situation.

He said there were certainly ways in which Russia could "remind" Kazakhstan that it would pay for the bilateral deteriorating relationship. For example, cut off Kazakh's main source of revenue, which is the lucrative oil exports. Oil and natural gas account for more than 40% of Kazakh's revenue, and 80% of the oil is exported through Russia from the "Caspian Pipeline Consortium" (CPC).

Reuters has quoted three people familiar with the matter as saying that Kazakhstan is expected to start exporting some crude oil through the largest oil pipeline in Azerbaijan starting in September. From next year, Kazakhstan will also export 3.5 million tons of crude oil through another pipeline. However, the export volume of the diversion is far less than the "Caspian oil pipeline".

To put pressure on Kazakhstan, oil exports are by no means the only soft underbelly that Russia can manipulate. Ma Tiemu said Kazakhstan is highly dependent on imports of a range of products from Russia, especially edible oil, sugar and milk. Russia is also a major source of petrochemicals, iron, fertilizers and auto parts for Kazakhstan. More than half of Kazakh exports go through Russia. Going the alternative route is more expensive.

The regimes in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are closely linked, but Kazakhstan is on its own path, including a freer market economy and friendlier relations with Western countries. In terms of Russia-Kazakhstan relations at this stage, Ma Tiemu said that Russia is unlikely to endure direct criticism from other countries. Kazakhs have not crossed this line so far, so the relationship between the two countries has not undergone fundamental changes. In addition, Russia is isolated from the West and needs to demonstrate that Moscow still maintains good relations with other regions, especially in Central Asia.

However, Ma Tiemu believes that the development paths of Russia and Kazakhstan will become more and more divergent, resulting in more friction. Russia, which has various tools to put pressure on Kazakhstan, is willing to let the Kazakh ally go its own way and not intend to retaliate, which has aroused high suspicion from the outside world.

CCP's infiltration of the Solomon Islands threatens the security of Pacific countries

中共渗透所罗门群岛 威胁太平洋国家安全

The Solomon Islands, which has long been considered a strategically important Pacific country, is increasingly under the control of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On 29 August 2022, the Solomon Islands government notified U.S. officials that they had suspended visits by U.S. and other foreign warships. Prior to this, ships of the US Coast Guard and the British Royal Navy had been refused to dock in the Solomon Islands.

These latest developments have heightened concerns that the Pacific island nation is moving away from the United States and toward China.

On 20 April 2022, just days before a U.S. delegation was due to arrive in the Solomon Islands, Solomon Islands Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare announced that the country had signed a security agreement with China. The agreement was condemned by local opposition leader Matthew Wale, who said it was not in the country's best interests and even threatened national unity.

White House Indo-Pacific coordinator Kurt Campbell said the agreement provides CCP with an entry point in the Pacific.

The deal also threatens other Pacific island nations, that fear the Solomon Islands could allow CCP to build military bases.

New Zealand's foreign minister, Nanaia Mahuta, said the deal was "unwelcome and unnecessary". Australia's Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce also expressed opposition to the deal. "We don't want a little Cuba on our shores," he said.

Beijing denies trying to build a military base in the Pacific or in the Solomon Islands. But Vail said the treaty would allow CCP to deploy troops on the island nation. Wale believes this does not increase national security, as the country already has agreements with Australia and New Zealand.

In November 2021, at Sogavare's request, Australian troops were deployed to the country's capital, Honiara, to quell unrest against the government and Chinese businesses. Tensions between Sogavare's government and people were largely due to his decision in 2019 to withdraw political recognition of Taiwan in favour of CCP China. Angry protesters burned down many buildings in Chinatown. Wale issued an appeal for Sogavare to resign.

Sogavare claimed that a security pact with China is necessary in order to strengthen the police force and better handle unrest such as those in November 2021. In August 2022, the CCP sent officials to conduct training for the Solomon Islands police.

Daniel Suidani, the governor of the Solomon Islands' most populous province of Malaita, has been opposed to the country's pro-communist policies. Sudani maintains unofficial relations with Taiwan while formally rejecting any Chinese investment projects in the province. Malaita province received aid from Taiwan during the covid pandemic.

In May 2021, Sudani received permission from the Taiwanese government to receive treatment in Taipei. He remained in Taiwan for five months despite a solemn protest from the CCP embassy in Honiara.

Pacific island nations are critical to the U.S. Indo-Pacific defense plan. However, in 2019 Kiribati and the Solomon Islands switched to recognizing CCP China, a warning for the United States, Taiwan and other democracies.

The Pacific island nations Palau, the Marshall Islands, Nauru and Tuvalu remain Taiwan's allies. The Chinese Communist Party is trying to sow discord against Taiwan by offering aid, police and military training.

In May, CCP proposed a broad economic and security agreement to 10 Pacific countries, called the China-Pacific Island Countries Common Development Vision. However, the agreement was rejected.

CCP-made vaccines almost ineffective against Omicron

On 14 September 2022, foreign media broke out that Moderna and the CCP regime were conducting preliminary negotiations on vaccine supply, but since the outbreak of the epidemic in late 2019, China has not yet opened up to non-domestic vaccines. Even Shanghai Fosun BioNTech, the international agent, failed to successfully enter. Does Moderna really have a chance to provide vaccines to CCP China? Moderna said no decision has been made yet.

Currently, except for Hong Kong and Macau, non-domestic vaccines are not open to vaccination in China. CCP China widely uses Sinopharm vaccine and Sinovac vaccine, but these two are "inactivated virus" vaccines. Studies from Brazil's Butanta Institute, Yale University and other places have shown that the effect of CCP's domestic vaccines is very poor. especially for the mutant virus Omicron is almost ineffective.

Last year, in order to obtain the "exclusive commercial agent" of the BNT vaccine, Fosun paid BioNTech a licensing fee of up to US$85 million (approximately NT$2.64 billion) and purchased shares in BioNTech for US$50 million (approximately NT$1.556 billion). . The cooperation agreement between the two parties clearly stated that Fosun promised to be responsible for the clinical trials, marketing applications and market sales of the BNT vaccine in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and to bear the corresponding costs and expenses.

Fosun also told investors that regulators would approve the mRNA vaccine by July 2021. The company, which has launched clinical trials in late 2020, said it could produce up to 1 billion doses a year. It seems that CCP is ready to make concessions to resist, but as time goes by, it has not officially released it. Instead, Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines continue to circulate and use in China. When CCP will approve BioNTech is becoming more and more elusive. BioNTech executives said that it is difficult to predict when it will actually be approved but CCP China is still a positive market for us. "

Since Fosun has been slow to promote BioNTech in the mainland Chinese market, is it possible that Moderna's talks with CCP may fall short? "We are capable and open-minded," Moderna chief executive Stephane Bancel said on whether to supply CCP China with an mRNA vaccine.

"There is a 20% chance that the 'problematic' variant will reappear this winter," he added.

CCP does not approve BNT, Fosun financial status flashes red light

At present, China is still plagued by the epidemic. In order to reduce the scope of infection, it has even implemented city lockdowns and daily nucleic acid testing. Although the CCP official has not announced how many nucleic acid tests have been conducted since the outbreak, according to the data laboratory Our World In Data, from the outbreak of the epidemic in early 2020 to 11 April 2022, CCP China has performed more than 9 billion mucleic acid screenings.

Due to the delay in approval by the Chinese authorities, according to the 2021 financial report released by Fosun, the group's total assets are 806.372 billion yuan (about 3.5 trillion Taiwan dollars), but 603.158 billion yuan (about 2.6 trillion Taiwan dollars) of which are all liabilities, assets and liabilities The rate reached 74.8%, indicating that Fosun has reached the peak of its debt risk.

Fosun was reported to be laying off staff in the covi vaccine business unit to save costs. The recent frequent reductions in stock holdings and the sale of its assets have raised concerns about its debt situation. The report also said that Chinese regulators have asked banks and some state-owned enterprises to examine their exposure to Fosun.

CCP wants to clear covid, domestic vaccines are a disservice

According to Fosun's 2022 semi-annual report data, as of 30 June 2022, Fosun's current assets were RMB 378.78 billion, non-current assets were RMB 470.90 billion, totaling RMB 849.68 billion; current liabilities totaled RMB 375.40 billion, Non-current liabilities totaled RMB 275.76 billion, with a total of RMB 651.16 billion. The asset-liability ratio was 76.6%, more than last year. Therefore, some analysts believe that Fosun Group is under the pressure of more than RMB 600 billion of debt and current liabilities.

The case of Fosun shows how risky Chinese corporate tycoons and their foreign partners are in following Beijing's political decisions. It also highlights the uncertain prospects for international pharmaceutical players in this market.

Affected by the epidemic in the past two years, pharmaceutical companies have made a lot of money. Last year, Modena’s sales reached US$17.7 billion, accounting for 96% of the annual revenue of US$18.5 billion. Although the confirmed cases show signs of easing this year, Moderna still It is expected that the market demand for vaccines will not fall, and the total sales of new crown vaccines in 2022 will be 51 billion US dollars. Moderna’s revenue in the second quarter of this year increased by 9% to $4.7 billion; adjusted earnings per share were $5.24, down 18% year-on-year; net profit fell 20% to $2.2 billion; new crown vaccine revenue increased by 8% year-on-year % to $4.5 billion.

As the most populous country in the world, CCP China is currently fighting for zero-covid, and vaccine manufacturers want to enter the market. Because as long as they successfully enter the market, the companies' sales will further grow and even have the opportunity to break the sales record. Even if CCP insists on using domestic vaccines, for these international vaccine manufacturers, there is still a huge domestic vaccination market in China for mRNA vaccines.

China has an unspeakable secret to let Moderna come in?

Image : Moderna has recently been rumoured to be in preliminary talks with the CCP government over the supply of vaccines. (Reuters)

Both Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna are messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) vaccines that drive immune responses by delivering the mRNA that makes the viral spike protein into the body, instructing cells to make specific proteins. Unlike CCP''s domestic vaccine "inactivated virus" vaccine, since CCP has been blocking the entry of BioNTech, it is still unknown whether the recently reported Modena can successfully enter China. , it's just a negotiation, and it's over in the end.

The mRNA vaccine is one of the most effective vaccines in the world. Experiments have shown that the existing inactivated vaccines in China are less effective than the mRNA vaccines. There is a saying that in order to delay the approval, China is buying time for China's domestic vaccines. Rather than trusting foreign countries, it is more inclined to independently develop mRNA vaccines to maintain public confidence in Chinese vaccines. Therefore, whether it is BioNTech or Moderna, regardless, these negotiations and reviews may be just excuses for CCP to delay.

CCP's ultimate goal is to wait for its own pharmaceutical factory to develop a new domestic vaccine, and then kick these manufacturers out of the game.

拜登警告习近平:挺普京 将是一个巨大的错误

U.S. President Joe Biden said on Sunday (18 September 2022) that he had warned CCP President Xi Jinping that it would be a "huge mistake" to violate U.S. sanctions on Russia.

In an interview with CBS, Biden said Russian troops invaded Ukraine just days after the closing ceremony of the Olympics after Xi and Putin met at the Olympics in February. Soon after, he had a phone call with Xi, exchanging views on U.S.-CCP relations and the situation in Ukraine.

Biden said,  "Shortly after the incident, I called President Xi -- not a threat at all, just to say, 'We have met many times. If you think the United States and other countries will violate you ( U.S.) indifferent to Russia sanctions and continuing to invest in China, I think you're making a huge mistake but it's your decision.'"

Biden did not specify when the call took place but according to him, it could have happened in March. According to the White House statement, "(Biden) described at the time the impact and consequences of providing material support to Russia if CCP China carried out a brutal attack on Ukrainian cities and civilians."

Biden: No sign that Beijing is supplying arms to Russia

Biden told CBS that so far there has been no indication that China is providing material support to Russia, declining to give details. "So far, there's been no indication that they've provided the weapons or anything Russia wants," Biden said.

Even if there are no signs of CCP China violating U.S. sanctions, the economic relationship between the U.S. and CCP China is already strained.

The White House recently took a tougher stance on trade with CCP China to secure U.S. domestic supply chains, including in chip semiconductors, to reduce reliance on China and tightened scrutiny of foreign investment in the U.S. At the same time, the Biden-Harris administration is also reviewing tariffs on CCP Chinese goods.

Biden: Not a new, more complicated Cold War

Asked if Sino-Russian relations could plunge the United States into a "new, more complicated Cold War," Biden replied, "I don't think it's a new, more complicated Cold War."

Last week, after meeting with Putin, Xi Jinping expressed concern about the defeat of the Russian army in the Ukrainian battlefield; Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also bluntly stated that this is not the time of war and urged Putin to end the war during his talks with Putin.

U.S. Secretary of State Blinken said Russia was under pressure to end the conflict in Ukraine after Beijing and Delhi expressed concerns.

Ex-Hong Kong officials question the government's purpose of not loosening its grip on COVID-19

COVID-19流感化 香港前官员质疑港府防疫不松绑的目的

Although the number of new covid cases in Hong Kong is still in the thousands, as the covid virus's virulence is further weakened in the mutation, Hong Kong's covid mortality rate has already declined. dropped substantially to the level of influenza. Leung Pak-hsien (or Leung Pak-yin), the former chief executive of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, published a document a few days ago, criticizing the Hong Kong government without naming it for its "return to normal" (return to normal) hindrance, and questioning whether there is another purpose behind it.

Leung Pak-hsien posted on social networking sites on 16 September 2022 that, at a time when covid has become flu-like, international customs clearance has become the general trend and the will of the people, but there are still people who are still dragging their feet to return to normal (return to normal). If not Misjudging the epidemic, "it is unknown whether there are other purposes".

Leung Pak-hsien added in the article that the epidemic situation in Hong Kong has gradually declined. At the critical juncture of the economy and people's livelihood, in order to protect people's livelihood, revive the economy, and maintain Hong Kong's status as an international financial center, it is believed that Hong Kong will "return to normal" customs clearance as soon as possible.

Previously, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee publicly announced on 13 September that the mortality rate of Omicron covid in Hong Kong was 0.6%, which was six times the mortality rate of general influenza (0.1%). Therefore, he urged the public to get vaccinated as soon as possible but on the same day, Leung Pak-hsien posted on Facebook, refuting John's above statement.

Leung Pak-hsien emphasized in the article that the mortality rate will change with the mutation of the virus and the change of the community infection situation, and should not be calculated across the board. Because the immune barrier of the society has been increased, with the current infection situation in Hong Kong, the mortality rate of the new wave of covid epidemics since May has dropped to 0.098%, which is similar to the mortality rate of influenza.

Leung Pak-hsien pointed out that the 0.6% fatality rate mentioned by Li Jiachao is based on the fact that more than 9,500 people have died in Hong Kong under the epidemic since the beginning of this year, and 1.56 million people have been diagnosed. But at the beginning of this year, the BA.2.2 virus strain was popular, and now BA.4 and BA.5 with lower toxicity have appeared. If calculated from the relaxation of social distancing measures in May, nearly 400 people died and 360,000 people were infected in the new wave of the epidemic, and the mortality rate was only 0.098%, which is similar to the 0.1% of influenza.

Coincidentally, on 14 September, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus publicly stated at a routine epidemic briefing that the number of deaths from the 2019 coronavirus disease reported globally last week has fallen to the lowest level since March 2020. , which allows people to see the "finish line" of overcoming the epidemic.

"We are now in a better position than ever to end this pandemic," Tedros said. "It's not there yet, but the end is in sight."

In response to the above-mentioned controversy, Ren Ruihong, the former head of the Medical Assistance Department of the Red Cross Foundation of China, told Radio Free Asia that in this debate, the current official of the Hong Kong government and the former official of the Hong Kong government, Leung Pak-hsien, are "getting what they need." She said that any epidemiological investigation and data analysis are very rigorous and complex, and many factors need to be considered. Generally, it is not so simple to compare influenza with the single data of mortality.

As for Leung Pak-hsien's statement that "some people misjudged the epidemic and even had other purposes", Ren Ruihong analyzed, "What he calls 'ulterior motives', we can directly say that it is a political consideration."

Ren Ruihong further pointed out that Hong Kong is still different from the mainland (Mainland China). Many Hong Kong people may have imported vaccines. People's open-mindedness and desire for freedom are stronger than mainlanders. Therefore, many people hope to return to normal. However, the current officials must not go against the will of the central government. As a result, the current Hong Kong epidemic prevention policy is completely restrained by the mainland, and everything must follow CCP's epidemic prevention policy.

Some economists believe that the Hong Kong government's epidemic prevention policy only focuses on customs clearance, ignoring the importance of economic recovery. Under the long-term "closed customs", many international talents and enterprises have left Hong Kong and moved to competitors such as Singapore. Therefore, it is advocated that the Hong Kong government should give more consideration to the importance of economic recovery.

In this regard, Hong Kong current affairs commentator Liu Ruishuo also believes that in the face of international competition, the Hong Kong government should deploy epidemic prevention policies flexibly.

He said, "After the epidemic, the speed of economic recovery has become internationally competitive. If (the Hong Kong government) lags behind the international situation in this regard, it may pay the price of self-isolation. On the basis of both measures, everyone will think that it should relax a little bit. At least don’t make it seem like the Hong Kong government is constantly trying to align with Beijing’s policies.”

According to Fox, as of Sunday (18 September 2022), a spokesman for Obama had been slow to respond to questions about whether the former president was considering opening his 29-acre estate on Martha's Vineyard to the site. Multiple requests for comment on the island, or illegal immigrants who may come to the island in the future.

Other celebrities on Martha's Vineyard, such as singer James Taylor, director Spike Lee and comedian David Letterman, did not respond to requests for comment.

Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts is a well-known and wealthy community in the United States. Former President Clinton, Obama and his wife, as well as many stars, have purchased properties here, known as "East Hollywood".

The median house price here is not only as high as $800,000, of which Obama and his wife Michelle purchased a $12 million vacation home here in 2019 as a gift for his 60th birthday.

The report pointed out that the illegal migrants from Central America arrived on Martha's Vineyard late last Wednesday (14th). Florida Gov. DeSantis flew them on two private jets to the popular vacation spot for the wealthy to protest the influx of illegal immigrants on the southern border, overwhelming Florida's border towns and depleting resources.

Taryn Fenske, a spokesman for DeSantis, said, "States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will do a better job of caring for these people, who have passed the 'sanctuary state' designation and Supporting the Biden administration's open border policies incentivizes illegal immigration into our country."

Stephen Miller, a former White House adviser, said, "Obama's compound alone -- with cots, trailers and tents installed -- could easily accommodate thousands of illegal immigrants."

Duke County, which consists of 11 islands off the coast of Massachusetts, is 99 percent of Martha's Vineyard residents, and about 77.7 percent of Duke County voters voted for Biden in the 2020 election. Biden won nearly every town on the island at the time.

Although the island overwhelmingly voted for the border immigration policy, Martha's Vineyard immediately issued a statement hitting back at DeSantis, calling the situation a "humanitarian crisis" and mobilizing the National Guard.

Crime novelist: Obama does not care

Some locals on the island have also called on Obama to open his home to immigrants, including crime novelist Jane Chittick, who believes the former president does not care about their plight.

"I don't think people like the Obamas who own huge properties and live here in the summer would care," Chitic told the New York Post. Put up the tent and take care of them."

However after two days of arrangements, Massachusetts authorities notified the migrants that they would be sent to Joint Base Cape Cod in the state for resettlement. They were settling into a church on Martha's Vineyard when they cheered the news.

In response, Texas Senator Ted Cruz accused on Twitter, "The National Guard was sent to intercept 50 illegal immigrants [because] they disrupted the liberal golf in Martha's Vineyard, Races and Chardonnay. Biden has nothing to do with the 4.2 million illegal immigrants flooding small Texas towns. Biden just doesn’t care.”

Conservative commentator Michael Knowles tweeted, "Only 50 illegal immigrants entered Martha's Vineyard and within 48 hours wealthy liberal residents rounded up and rounded them up to a military base."

Of the nearly 5 million illegal immigrants who have crossed the U.S. southern border since Biden took office in January 2021, only 50 have been sent to Martha's Vineyard.

The Border Guard has apprehended more than 2 million illegal immigrants so far this fiscal year, and more than 1.7 million in fiscal 2021. The 50 illegal immigrants sent to Martha's Vineyard were just 0.0025% of that number.

Trump: “Thugs, tyrants” awakened a “sleeping giant”

Image : Video Screenshot

The "thugs and tyrants" attacking the MAGA movement have awakened a "sleeping giant," former President Donald Trump said during his Save America rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on Saturday night.

"They have no idea of the sleeping giant that they have awoken," Trump told the rally, which aired live on Newsmax. "The American people will never accept the corruption and the ruination of our beloved country, and that's what they want to do."

The Democrats' policies are "mad," he added, but come Nov. 8, "we are going to vote in record numbers, and we are going to send these left-wing lunatics a message: They cannot cancel, silence, or ignore ... all the abuse, all the smears, and all the attacks will not dissuade us. They will only make us stronger, much stronger. Much much stronger."

He pointed out that Democrats spied on his first campaign, but "nobody wants to do anything about it."

Trump said, "No matter what our sick and deranged political establishment throw at me, no matter what they do to me, I will endure their torment and oppression, and I will do it very willingly.

"They will never get me to stop fighting for you, the American people. And I will never quit because the fate of our country is at stake."

He further attacked President Joe Biden for his speech in Philadelphia and the red backdrop that was used while he was talking.

"That was terrible," said Trump, "but that's where they're coming from. But you know what? We're strong and we're smart. We're smarter than them. We're stronger than them."

Further, Democrats "view 75 million Americans as enemies to be canceled and suppressed," said Trump. "They want to censor you from the internet, banish you from the public square, get you fired from your jobs, target you for destruction with 87,000 new IRS agents."

He added, "There's more enthusiasm right now than there has ever been for the rallies and for everything, because you've seen what a horrible job they've done."

Trump: Democrats "wild socialist spree" to blame for poor performance of U.S. economy

Image : Video Screenshot

The Biden administration's "wild socialist spree" has thrown the United States into a recession, former President Donald Trump told Ohioans at his rally in Youngstown on Saturday night.

"There's no reason for us to be in a recession," he told the rally, which aired live on Newsmax. "We were doing it. We were doing things that nobody thought possible.

"You remember China was going to take the place of the United States as the world's largest economy in 2019? Except we did so well."

Trump added his administration "put some of those beautiful tariffs on steel."

"I rebuilt our military, including our nuclear capability and the creation of Space Force," Trump said. "[The Biden administration] surrendered our strength and turned Afghanistan into the greatest humiliation our country has ever seen. I believe it was the most humiliating time in the history of our country."

But now, there is a war between Russia and Ukraine, with potentially hundreds of thousands of people dying, "but that would never have happened if I were your president. It would never have happened if they didn't rig the election."

Further, Trump said that "no Third-World country would allow to happen to their border what's happening now to ours."

"I don't believe the 2 million and the 3 million," Trump said of the figures of people coming in over the border. "I believe it's 10 million who are coming in.

"They're phony numbers when they say 2 or 3 million people, and that's a lot bigger than most cities, but it's not the right number. It's much higher than that."

Trump also pointed out that his administration built hundreds of miles of border walls despite more than two years of Democrat-inspired lawsuits.

But then the election was rigged, said Trump. "I ran twice; I won twice; and I did much better the second time."

Trump: FBI colluded with Russia

Image : Video Screenshot

Former President Donald Trump has been fighting back claims his first presidential campaign colluded with Russia, and he said Saturday at his rally in Youngstown that now, it turns out, "the FBI colluded with Russia."

"Man, what a country we have," Trump told his rally, which aired live on Newsmax. "We've got to fix our country. It's so sad."
This past week, John Durham, the special prosecutor investigating the origins of the Russia investigation, issued a finding that Igor Danchenko, the alleged principal source of the discredited Steele dossier against Trump, had later been made a paid FBI informant.

Danchenko is facing five charges of lying to the FBI through Durham's continuing investigation into the origins of the FBI's investigation of Trump's 2016 campaign and allegations of collusion with Russian agents during the race for the White House.

"I think that sounds like a slightly Russian name," Trump said. "The foreign national fabricated some of the most ridiculous smears and lies in the phony Steele dossier. It was all phony.

"How would you like to be me and go home and explain that one to my wife? Darling, it wasn't true. I swear it wasn't. Remember that one with the hookers from Russia? Darling I'd like to explain this to you. It was all phony."

The scheme, Trump said, was made up by corrupt Democrats "working with a paid informant of the FBI."

"I remember when we were supposed to be working with Russia, but it was the FBI and the Democrats that were working with Russia," Trump said.

And now that the revelations are coming out, Trump said he hopes the matter is hidden "because I think it's one of the biggest stories in 50 years. If that were Republicans saying that about a Democrat, it would be the biggest story. It would never end."

It was also recently revealed the FBI approached Facebook in the weeks before the election and told them the story about President Joe Biden's son Hunter and his laptop was Russian disinformation and not to use it, Trump said.

"The pollster said that if that word had gotten out, it would have made a 17-point difference [in the 2020 election], but we won the election by a lot anyway," said Trump.
Now, Republicans, once retaking the house, must pass "historic reforms to tell the deep state, You're fired," Trump said. "Another one of our highest priorities under a Republican Congress will be to stop left-wing censorship and to restore free speech in America, which we do not have."

International medical crisis declared due to unprecedented illnesses and deaths from SARS-CoV-2 vaccines
At a press conference on 10 September 2022, over 400 doctors and scientists from more than 34 countries declared an international medical crisis due to diseases and deaths associated with  SARS-CoV-2 (covi) injections.  The Declaration originated among concerned medics and professionals in India from a group called the Universal Health Organisation (“UHO”).

The Declaration states:

We, the medical doctors and scientists from all over the world, declare that there is an international medical crisis due to the diseases and deaths co-related to the administration of products known as “Covid-19 vaccines”.

We are currently witnessing an excess in mortality in those countries where the majority of the population has received the so called “Covid-19 vaccines”. To date, this excess mortality has neither been sufficiently investigated nor studied by national and international health institutions.

The large number of sudden deaths in previously healthy young people who were inoculated with these “vaccines”, is particularly worrying, as is the high incidence of miscarriages and perinatal deaths which have not been investigated.

A large number of adverse side effects, including hospitalisations, permanent disabilities and deaths related to the so-called “Covid-19 vaccines”, have been reported officially.

The registered number has no precedent in world vaccination history.

Declaration Of International Medical Crisis Due to The Diseases and Deaths Co-Related to the “Covid-19 Vaccines,” Medical Crisis Declaration

It makes eight urgent demands:

  1. A worldwide ‘stop’ to the national inoculation campaigns with the products known as “Covid-19 vaccines.”
  2. Investigation of all sudden deaths of people who were healthy previous to the inoculation.
  3. Implementation of early detection programmes of cardiovascular events which could lead to sudden deaths with analysis such as D-dimer and Troponin, in all those that were inoculated with the products known as “Covid-19 vaccines,” as well as the early detection of serious tumours.
  4. Implementation of research and treatment programmes for victims of adverse effects after receiving the so-called “Covid-19 vaccine.”
  5. Undertaking analyses of the composition of vials of Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Janssen, Sinovac, Sputnik V and any other product known as “Covid-19 vaccines,” by independent research groups with no affiliation to pharmaceutical companies, nor any conflict of interest.
  6. Studies to be conducted on the interactions between the different components of the so-called “Covid-19 vaccines” and their molecular, cellular and biological effects.
  7. Implementation of psychological help and compensation programmes for any person that has developed a disease or disability as a consequence of the so-called “Covid-19 vaccines.”
  8. Implementation and promotion of psychological help and compensation programmes for the family members of any person who died as a result of having been inoculated with the product known as “Covid-19 vaccines.”

The Declaration concludes:

Consequently, we declare that we find ourselves in an unprecedented international medical crisis in the history of medicine, due to the large number of diseases and deaths associated with the “vaccines against Covid-19”. Therefore, we demand that the regulatory agencies that oversee drug safety as well as the health institutions in all countries, together with the international institutions such as the WHO, PHO, EMA, FDA, UK-MHRA and NIH respond to this declaration and act in accordance with the eight measures demanded in this manifesto.

We call on all doctors, scientists and professionals to endorse this statement in order to put pressure on the entities involved and promote a more transparent health policy.

Based on timeline of royal vaccinations and health events, SARS-CoV-2 vaccination may have contributed to the deaths of Queen Elizabeth II and King Philips

19 September 2022 is the burial day of Queen Elizabeth II. A concerned reader contributed his letter to UK conservative media The Expose, expressing his suspicions and concerns over the SARS-CoV-2 (covi) vaccination on the health of elderly. He suspects that the booster may have contributed to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

A Timeline of Royal Vaccination and Health Events

9 January 2021: Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip both receive their first SARS-CoV-2 (covi) shot

16 February 2021: Prince Philip is admitted to King Edward VII Hospital with an infection and ‘pre-existing’ heart problems

3 March 2021: Prince Philip has a heart operation at St. Barts in London.

16 March 2021: Prince Philip is discharged from King Edward VII

31 March 2021 or a few days before: The Queen receives her second covi vaccination before her first maskless public appearance at the Royal Australian Air Force Centenary

31 March 2021 - 3 April 2021: Prince Philip most likely receives his second shot at the recommended 12 weeks after the first shot.

9 April 2021: Prince Philip dies of “Old Age” according to the Royal doctor, Professor Sir Huw Thomas.

Late September 2021: The Queen gets a Winter booster jab – her first and only booster shot

21 October 2021: The Queen missed a reception for business leaders at Windsor due to ill health and spent a night at the King Edward VII Hospital. It marked her first hospital stay in eight years and led to her being on doctor’s orders to rest between mid-October and February, during which a series of royal engagements were cancelled.

20 February 2022: The Queen loses her mobility and says, "Well, as you can see. I can’t move."

6 September 2022: The Queen never recovers her mobility: Liz Truss has to visit HRH Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral to be appointed Prime Minister of the UK.

8 September 2022:

At 12:32 pm, Buckingham palace releases a statement:

“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” it says.

At 12:39 pm, the BBC interrupts scheduled programming with the Palace announcement and launches rolling news coverage of developments.

Presenter Huw Edwards appears dressed in a dark suit, white shirt and black tie, in line with the BBC’s dress code for when a member of the royal family dies.

At 1 pm, Prince Charles and Camilla are at Balmoral.

At 1.35 pm, Princess Anne arrives at Balmoral

At 4 pm, Queen Elizabeth II dies.

Between 5.05 pm and 8 pm, Prince Andrew, Edward, Sophie, Princes William and Harry arrive at Balmoral too late.

At 6.30 pm, Buckingham Palace announces, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”

The recommended time between vaccinations in early 2021 was 12 Weeks. The Queen and Prince Philip were Monarchs who did their duty. The Queen took her second jab just before 31 March 2021, which was 81 days (11½ weeks) after her first jab. This was because she had to attend a maskless event on 31 March. Professor Sir Huw Thomas would have been considered negligent according to the prevailing medical wisdom in early 2021, had he not administered the second shot to Prince Philip within 12 weeks. That is by 3 April. The prince died 6 days after that date. The most likely scenario here is that he died around one week after his second dose.

Prince Philip was admitted to hospital with an infection and a heart condition 38 days after his first covi shot on 9 January and died precisely 3 months after his first shot and probably around 7 days after his second shot. He died at 99 years old, which is pretty good going for a man but infections and heart problems are classic symptoms of vaccine related disease. One would not normally expect the immune system to be degraded much in 38 days post vaccination but on the other hand many vaccine related deaths occur in the first 14 days after the shot, especially within 14 days after the second shot. That appears to be when Prince Philip died.

Furthermore, it is known the vaccines double the chances of a heart attack and cause myocarditis. The American Heart Association Paper given in a speech by Dr Steven Gundry to the American Heart Association in Boston from 12  to 14 November 2021 found that mRNA vaccines more than double a person's 5 year chances of getting a heart attack as measured by various inflammatory markers at 2 months after the second jab.  The Expose covered this in their article on football deaths of 8 December 2021.

The Royal Doctor put down Prince Philip’s death to "Old Age". He might as well have called it "Old Age Syndrome" or OAS. Of course nobody dies of old age. They die of a medical problem or problems which are caused or exacerbated by old age. The true cause of Prince Philip’s death has quite obviously been hidden. That in itself is good evidence that the vaccines played a significant part in his demise.

The death of Prince Phillip would have had a significant effect of the state of mind and therefore on the health of the Queen, who loved her husband. So indirectly the probability is that through the death of Prince Philip, the vaccines played a significant role in the death of our Queen.

The Queen received her "winter booster" in 2021. There is no point in receiving that after winter has started. So to be safe September/October would be the time to receive it. Winter is the time when the flu is most prevalent due to Vitamin D deficiency among other factors. The JCVI issued a statement on 14 September 2021 inviting all over 50s to take a winter booster shot. Since the Queen was 95 years old at that time, she was of very high risk. She also was very keen to set a good example with vaccines stating:

“It’s selfish not to have the jab,” is how the Daily Mail summarises her message which it describes as “historic” and “astonishing”. It says it’s “highly unusual for the sovereign to take such a firm public stand on contentious issues”.

“Do one’s duty,” is the Daily Mirror’s headline which sees her remarks as a “stern rebuke to anti-vaxxers”.

The Daily Telegraph explains that it has been told by royal sources that it is the Queen’s “passionately held belief” that everyone should get a jab.

Since the Queen is the epitome of duty and service. She can be expected to have received her booster shot in September 2021, not long after the September 14 JCVI recommendation. Then on 21 October 2021, she was admitted to King Edward VII hospital for the first time in 8 years. The Guardian reported at that time saying

“The 95-year-old is known for her strong constitution and no fuss approach to her infrequent illnesses”

Yes. Infrequent until her third vaccine shot, probably in late September. Whereupon, within a month, she found herself in hospital with her doctor advising her to cancel all Royal duties until February. Then in February she became immobile and caught covid. Anyone starting to see a pattern here?

Older women can be immobilised by the vaccine. Sometimes the lack of mobility is temporary as is the brain fog that can ensue. At other times it is permanent. It all depends how old and how fit you are when you take the second or third jab. It does not generally happen after the first jab. It most often occurs after the 3rd. Anecdotally of the older women I know who have had a booster, one was fine, the other lost her mobility permanently and semi recovered from the brain fog, and the other lost it temporarily and has now regained it and fully recovered from the brain fog but she was so worried when she first got the fog.

Conclusion

These vaccines affect the central nervous systems of girls and women and the hearts of boys and men.

Prince Philip most likely died 7 days after his second shot and a month after a heart operation which occurred 7 weeks after his first shot. Whereas the Queen, who would have been seriously damaged by the death of her beloved prince, fell ill for the first time in 8 years immediately after her booster. Then upon medical advice given to her in hospital, she cancelled all her royal engagements until 20 February 2022, when she lost her mobility and stated that she could not move. If you will pardon the metaphor, the Queen was a tough old bird and her mother was just as tough having died at the grand old age of 101 but there again her mother never had to suffer the indignity of a gene hacking vaccine.

I strongly suspect that Prince Philip might still be and that Queen Elizabeth II would certainly still be alive today, had they not taken a vaccine full of computer generated spike proteins, 2 or 3 times. I think that the vaccines may have done to the Windsors in 2021 and 2022 what the Bolsheviks did to their Russian relatives in 1918. That is no empty analogy because those behind the vaccines are the new Bolsheviks to the entire world.

I therefore call for an urgent and immediate public enquiry into this potential treason upon the UK royal family and recommend to all royals and commoners alike, that vaccines are unsafe and ineffective. The Queen caught covid 5 months after her third vaccination. That is the time when, according to many PHE and Scottish government statistics analysed by the Exposé, her immune system would have been severely compromised and working at less than 25% of its unvaccinated capacity as regards its effectiveness against covid and other diseases.

I do commend the Queen for always trying to set a good example and for refusing to be a hypocrite in this matter. I find it tragic that our health service has let her down so badly and conducted a medical experiment upon her health which experiment failed to protect her against covid and may well have significantly contributed to her death. At 96 years old, her lack of mobility (which is my opinion is very likely to have been vaccine mediated given the proximity of her final illness to her 3rd jab), may well have been the straw that broke the lionesses back.

There was a time when this country would not tolerate an attack upon its monarchy. Everyone hopes they are still living in that time and that true scientists will be permitted to investigate this matter fully, for the benefit of the royal line and for the benefit of the health of every citizen of this sceptred isle.

In the meantime, pending that investigation, may people all around the world learn as much from their vaccine assisted deaths as they have learned from their most colourful and most dutiful lives in public service.
