In response to the local epidemic of Wuhan pneumonia (covid / COVID-19, covid-19, Covid-19, novel coronavirus pneumonia), many countries have opened their borders one after another; a piece of "Border Management and Opening Suggestions" circulated on the Internet, listing the near-term and opening goals, it is expected that From October 10, it will be open to 20,000 people entering the country in a single day, and the "0+7" measures will be adopted without home quarantine.

This 3-stages schedule is out, and Zhuang Renxiang, a spokesman for the Central Epidemic Command Center, confirmed that this is under discussion, but has not yet been finalized. Zhuang Renxiang also emphasized when addressing the issue of easing quarantine measures at the border yesterday, that the epidemic will only be implemented after the peak of the epidemic has dropped significantly. There is a chance in October, but the possibility of opening at the beginning of the month is relatively low.

At present, the Republic of China's regulations are still "3+4" days after entry, and the quarantine office requires one person per household; in the second stage, 60,000 people can enter the country in a single week, and the quarantine is still "3+4" days, but the whole process can be one person per household. The second phase is expected to be announced on 19 September 2022 and implemented on 26 September 2022.

In the final third stage, the goal is to open the borders to 20,000 people in a single day, and "free home quarantine", that is, change to "0+7" days, including tour groups and independent travel, and the community is also adjusted to be exempt from home quarantine; The mode of transportation has also been changed to open public transportation, and the group restriction order has been lifted. This final phase is expected to be announced on 3 October 2022 and implemented as early as 10 October 2022, subject to the severity of the epidemic around that time.

When the Taiwan Strait crisis has attracted widespread attention, on 13 September 2022, Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of the Republic of China, Tong Zhenyuan, visited Canada. He said that Taiwan has the ability and determination to maintain the stability of the Taiwan Strait.

Tong Zhenyuan said,: "First, we (Taiwan) must defend national sovereignty, which we will never give in; second, we will not provoke and maintain stability and the status quo; third, we express our determination to defend the country. "

Tong Zhenyuan believes that the high-end chip industry dominated by TSMC plays a pivotal role in the global supply chain.

Tong Zhenyuan, chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of the Republic of China: "Once there is a problem in Taiwan, the global economy will be affected, and the impact will be many times, or even dozens of times, the impact on the global economy caused by Ukraine."

The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated on the 13th that national defense military investment focuses on strengthening main battle equipment to build a solid national defense force.

Tong Zhenyuan added, "This year, the national defense budget exceeds 400 billion (Taiwan dollars), the highest ever. Taiwan is determined to maintain regional stability, and the international community supports maintaining stability across the Taiwan Strait."

The CCP's continuous intimidation and provocative actions against Taiwan have aroused the attention of the international community.

Tong Zhenyuan added, "Europe, the United States, Japan, many countries have publicly expressed their support, and even supported Taiwan in action. On the contrary, the CCP's threat has been condemned by the whole world."

Tong Zhenyuan said that Taiwan's local people's hearts are stable at present, and as a beacon of democracy in Asia, it has won the care of the world's democratic society.

He ended, "Life in Taiwan is business as usual, and we also believe that Taiwan's democracy and freedom will be cherished by the world."

李克强去留再引关注 传中共二十大后访问柬埔寨

A few days ago, it was reported that Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will visit Cambodia after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and attend the ASEAN Summit. This news also aroused the outside world's attention to Li Keqiang's status in CCP after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

According to the "Cambodia China Times" report on 15 September 2022, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen said on the 15th that Li Keqiang will pay an official visit to Cambodia on 8 November 2022. In addition, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Trinh and Philippine President Marcos Jr. will also visit Cambodia.

Hun Sen said that Cambodia will host the ASEAN summit in Phnom Penh from 10 to 13 November 2022, when leaders of many countries will visit Cambodia and participate in the summit.

However, the above information has not been officially confirmed by the Chinese Communist Party.

If the news is true, this will be Li Keqiang's first visit since the covid outbreak. This also means that Li Keqiang will not retire after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Li Keqiang's latest foreign visit was in Bangkok, Thailand in November 2019 to attend the "China-ASEAN (10+1)" leaders' meeting and the ASEAN Summit. On 15 November 2021, Li Keqiang and Hun Sen held a video meeting.

It is worth noting that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be held on 16 October 2022. The time for Li Keqiang's visit this time is to visit Cambodia after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Li Keqiang's future political career has attracted attention again.

In March 2013, Li Keqiang became the Premier of the Communist Party of China. In March, Li Keqiang announced that he would step down as prime minister when his term expires in March next year. Whether the 67-year-old retire completely at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, or will he follow the model of former Premier Li Peng and serve as the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress after stepping down, this will affect the layout of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China.

Reports say Li Keqiang's increased public appearances this year are a sign that he may remain on the Standing Committee or serve as a deputy to the National People's Congress.

Previously, Epoch Times columnist Wang He once told NTDTV that Li Keqiang's decision to stay depends more on Xi Jinping.

After the outbreak of the CCP virus, none of the seven members of the Politburo Standing Committee went abroad to visit. Before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, on September 7, Li Zhanshu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the Communist Party of China, visited Russia and other four countries. From 14 to 16 September, Xi Jinping visited Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.

Betrayed by Putin? Li Zhanshu's Russian talk video exploded

When Putin and Xi Jinping met, Li Zhanshu, the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party, circulated on the Internet a video showing his support for Russi, but the official media of the Chinese Communist Party did not report about it at the time. The content sparked heated debate.

Li Zhanshu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the Communist Party of China, said, "On issues involving Russia's core interests and some major concerns, China also expresses its understanding and full support to Russia." "Just like the current Ukraine issue, the United States and NATO are directly pressing Russia's doorstep, then in this case, Russia takes measures that it thinks should be taken, and China understands, plans and responds from different aspects."

The Chinese Communist Party has always maintained a neutral position on the Russian-Ukrainian war. Li Zhanshu, the third-largest figure in the party, is considered to be Beijing's most powerful statement of support for Moscow.

Qin Peng, a current affairs commentator, commenting, "What is 'plans and responds'(策应)?  This reminds us that the CCP helped Russia to cover up before the Russian-Ukrainian war, deliberately not evacuating overseas Chinese, and after the outbreak of the war, the CCP helped Russia spread lies. Look at it now. Come to think of it, all of this is evidence that the CCP helped Russia aggression, the so-called 'plans and responds' from 'different aspects'."

But what is interesting is that Li Zhanshu's words did not appear in the report of the CCP's official Xinhua News Agency. The remarks in the Duma were exposed, raising speculation about whether Russia was deliberately putting pressure on China.

Qin Peng, a current affairs commentator, said, "Now, Putin has taken the initiative to throw it out, and his intention is obvious, that is, to make Xi Jinping's army clear to the world, in the Ukraine incident, the CCP and Russia are standing together, in the same trench, tied on the same chariot."

Meanwhile, Xi Jinping made a whirlwind visit to Kazakhstan on the 14th. It is suspected that in response to the request of the Chinese side, all the on-site greeters wore masks. When Xi got off the plane, his feet slipped and he almost fell. For some unknown reason, when CCTV, the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of China, was reporting, the anchor read the entire script, seemingly deliberately omitting the live footage.

On 15 September, Xi Jinping and Putin attended a regional summit in Uzbekistan and held talks. During the meeting, Xi Jinping said that China is ready to play the role of a "great power" together with Russia to inject so-called stability and positive energy into the turbulent world.

Shanghai typhoon day long queue to do nucleic acid tests

Typhoon "Plum Blossom" landed in Shanghai on Wednesday, bringing violent storms. However, under the CCP's epidemic control, Shanghai residents are still queuing up to do nucleic acid tests to ensure that they can travel freely. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus publicly stated that the epidemic is about to pass, but the news was suppressed by the CCP.

Shanghai resident said, "My mother, there is such a big typhoon, it's almost midnight, and so many people are still doing nucleic acid."

Typhoon "Plum Blossom" landed in Shanghai on the 14th, and many normalized nucleic acid sites were closed one after another. However, under the "dynamic clearing" campaign by the authorities, a large number of citizens had to brave the typhoon and heavy rain, and long queues to make nucleic acid to obtain permission to travel for 72 hours negative testimonials detonated public grievances.

Shanghai resident said, "The typhoon is coming, but the umbrella can't stop it."

Shanghai resident: "Finally finished, I'm going outside the hospital now. There are many more people now than when I first came. Now people have been queuing outside the hospital. When we came to do it, it was already 2 hours. These people estimate that they can't finish it in three hours."

WHO: The end of the pandemic is in sight, CCP cybernet censored related topics

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, publicly stated on Wednesday (14 September 2022) that the number of deaths from covid in the world last week was the lowest since March 2020, and that the world is expected to "end the pandemic."

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus declared, "We are in an unprecedented situation to end this pandemic. It's not there yet, but it's coming."

The news caused heated discussions among netizens in mainland China. Some netizens laughed at the authorities, and they may have to quickly "send a star on the hot search" to divert domestic attention. Some netizens joked that "perversion is good to be cleared."

Chinese people: "That (government) unit, those who don't recognize this unit, govern themselves, and then the districts govern each other. Isn't your epidemic prevention policy evil? How evil is it, so that people can't live or die, if my father can't live or die? Now that I'm dead, I can't even hold a funeral, isn't it evil enough? Calls for Putin to resign and the war in Ukraine to stop on the rise in Russia

Reporter : Will Stewart, Daily Mail / https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11214977/Calls-Putins-resignation-grow-Russia-Ukraine-war-failings.html

A prominent human rights lawyer, Daniil Berman (above), and local politicians have joined a growing chorus of dissenters calling for Vladimir Putin to resign over the war in Ukraine.

Daniil Berman, who defended the Russian news anchor who held up a protest sign on live TV, has spoken out to say the 'special military operation' in Ukraine 'is [actually] a hot war with a sovereign state that must be stopped'.

He was joined by dozens more politicians from across Russia who have added their names to a petition calling for Putin to go, bringing the total to 67.

They include Oleg Egorov from Samara, Ekaterina Vasilyeva from Yakutsk, Oxana Sergeyeva from Veliky Novgorod, Nina Belyaeva from Voronezh, Artyom Kanarev from Tomsk, and Olga Podolskaya from Tula.

Lawyer Berman, in a blistering open letter to Putin,  called for the Russian leader, the country's rubber-stamp parliament, and the government to be thrown out.

"I believe that the 'special military operation'… is a hot war with the sovereign state of Ukraine which must be stopped," he said.

Russian troops must be withdrawn from Ukraine and the political leadership in Moscow "dismissed."

Human rights lawyer Berman, 39, warned, "Further escalation of this military conflict could lead to an acute political crisis within the country.

"Subsequently to Civil War, the collapse of Russia, the loss of its territories, the impoverishment of its population and the loss of their national identity."

The respected lawyer said, "Any appeals and actions from any person to continue this war, including "attacking strikes on decision-making centres in Ukraine", on "critical infrastructure facilities", the use of nuclear weapons - including low-yield ones - and any similar statements I consider to be anti-people and endangering the existence of humanity as a species."

He posted his phone number if the authorities wanted to get in touch to arrest him under Russia's draconian laws preventing proper debate about Putin's war.

"For my detention, preparation of administrative material against me and/or arrest, I am ready to voluntarily appear in any investigative institution or court," he said.

He has repeatedly defended clients accused of transgressing laws forbidding any criticism of the army.

A local councillor calling for Putin to quit, Olga Shtatskaya, from Moscow, said, "The irremovability of power is one of the greatest evils in life.

"If a politician has no opponents, everything ends badly. That is what we're seeing right now."

Anti-war allies are hitting their names to an appeal reading: "We, the municipal deputies of Russia, believe that the actions of President Vladimir Putin harm the future of Russia and its citizens.

"We demand the resignation of Vladimir Putin from the post of President of the Russian Federation."

Among those are deputies from all around Russia, though the bulk are from Moscow and St Petersburg.

In the Lomonosovsky district of capital city Moscow, multiple politicians blamed Putin for aggression, taking his country back to the Cold War, and threatening the world with nuclear weapons.

They followed a similar call for Putin to quit by councillors in St Petersburg who demanded he should be charged with high treason over the war in Ukraine.

Marina Ovsyannikova famously walked in on Russia's most-watched news show with a poster saying "They're lying to you here" and "Stop the War!"

The TV journalist has been repeatedly targeted by Vladimir Putin's officers since her pioneering protest in March.

They accuse Ovsyannikova, 44, of discrediting the army under new draconian laws aimed at stifling any criticism of Putin's war in Ukraine.

She has been repeatedly fined for her anti-war calls.

DeSantis sends illegal immigrants on flights to Martha's Vanyard

Reporter : Frank Fang, The Epoch Times PREMIUM

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has sent two planes of illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard, following through on his plan to send illegal aliens to Democrat-controlled areas.

Taryn Fenske, the governor’s communications director, told media outlets in a statement on Sept. 14 that the flights were part of Florida’s “relocation program to transport illegal immigrants to sanctuary destinations.”

“States like Massachusetts, New York, and California will better facilitate the care of these individuals who they have invited into our country by incentivizing illegal immigration through their designation as ‘sanctuary states’ and support for the Biden administration’s open border policies,” she said.

Fenske pointed out that Florida’s Republican-controlled Legislature has handed DeSantis $12 million to transport illegal immigrants out of the state. When the governor made the budget request in December, he named Martha’s Vineyard as one of the destinations for sending illegal aliens, as well as President Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware.

Martha’s Vineyard—where former President Barack Obama bought a $12 million estate in 2019—is an island south of Cape Cod in Massachusetts.

“Florida’s immigration relocation program both targets human smugglers found in Florida and preempts others from entering,” Fenske said.

About 50 illegal aliens from Venezuela, some of them children, arrived at Martha’s Vineyard on Sept. 14 via charter flights, according to Boston-based broadcaster WCVB 5, citing state Sen. Julian Cyr, a Democrat who represents Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket.

The Dukes County Emergency Management Association wrote on Twitter on Sept. 14 that it was seeking volunteers and opening emergency shelters on Martha’s Vineyard “due to an unexpected urgent #humanitarian situation.”

Terry MacCormack, press secretary for Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, said in a statement to media outlets that his administration “is in touch with local officials regarding the arrival of migrants in Martha’s Vineyard.”

“At this time, short-term shelter services are being provided by local officials, and the Administration will continue to support those efforts,” MacCormack wrote.

DeSantis’s move follows similar steps taken by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, as both have been sending illegal immigrants to Democrat-controlled cities in the face of a surge of aliens arriving at the U.S.–Mexico border.

On 9 September, Abbott announced that Texas had bused more than 7,900 illegal immigrants to the nation’s capital, more than 2,200 to New York, and more than 300 to Chicago.

According to data from Customs and Border Protection, border agents are on pace to apprehend more than 2 million illegal aliens in this fiscal year, which runs from October to September.

Following the arrival of the Venezuelan illegal immigrants in Martha’s Vineyard, Charlie Crist, the Democratic nominee for Florida governor, and Karla Hernandez, the Democratic nominee for Florida lieutenant governor, both took to Twitter to criticize DeSantis.

Crist said that DeSantis’s program was a “political stunt” and the Florida governor was trying to “score political points.”

“Venezuelan migrants who’re trying to escape a socialist dictator, thought [Nicolás] Maduro would be their biggest challenge, then came Ron DeSantis,” Hernandez wrote.

Christina Pushaw, the rapid response director for the DeSantis reelection campaign, dismissed Hernandez’s criticism, writing on Twitter,  “If Governor DeSantis is truly a dictator worse than Maduro, as you claim, then he did these migrants a huge favor by chartering their flights out of scary Florida.

“Now, they get to live freely in the safe, wealthy, and extremely liberal town of Martha’s Vineyard.”

Nick Adams, author and president of the Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness, called on DeSantis to send more illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

“Make these woke liberals put their money where their mouths are!” Adams wrote on Twitter.

Jim Jordan: FBI "Woke analyst" labeled veterans-led group "Domestic Terrorist Organization"

Reporter : Charlie McCarthy, Newsmax / https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/jim-jordan-fbi-domestic-terrorist/2022/09/15/id/1087580

The FBI has labeled groups domestic terrorist organizations despite investigations showing they are not a threat, according to Republican Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.

Jordan, ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, said a whistleblower told him the FBI has designated veteran-led American Contingency a "domestic violent extremism" (DVE) organization despite the group having been probed and cleared as a non threat by the FBI in 2020, the Washington Examiner reported.

The congressman stated the allegations in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday.

"[American Contingency founder] Mike Glover is a veteran doing good work out there but some woke analyst at the FBI says we're going to investigate this guy," Jordan told Fox News on Wednesday.

Jordan also accused the FBI of recharacterizing cases as DVE cases to artificially enhance its data to advance a political narrative, the Examiner reported.

"[If you] display the flag, you own a gun, and you voted for Trump, you're somehow in that category that [President] Joe Biden says are extremist or fascist," Jordan said.

American Contingency's website says its mission is to "inform, equip, train, and connect Americans to be self-reliant, resilient, and prepared for any contingency." The website also says Glover is a former Green Beret.

Jordan's letter said the FBI deemed American Contingency as a potential threat because Glover "exercised his First Amendment right to speak out in protest of the federal government," and appeared to be "rallying individuals to 'take action,'" the Examiner reported.

The whistleblower, providing internal FBI notes, told Jordan that the bureau "rifled through Glover's life — obtaining his military records, his veteran's disability rating, and even his monthly disability benefit — before concluding that American Contingency 'desires to assist Americans in preparing themselves for catastrophic events and not to overthrow the United States Government.'"

Even after it was determined American Contingency was not a threat, the FBI labeled the group as a violent extremist group in an official FBI alert, Jordan said.

Jordan in July claimed whistleblowers said FBI agents were pressured "to juice up the numbers" on domestic terrorist threats.

In his letter to Wray, Jordan asked the FBI to provide the House Judiciary Committee documents related to the bureau's Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide (DTSG) on Militia Violent Extremism.

He also requested an explanation as to why the Domestic Terrorism Strategic Unit did not include symbols, images, phrases, events, and individuals about left-wing violent extremists' groups in the DTSG, the Examiner said.

Rand Paul hits Fauci over 2004 clip on vaccinations

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on Wednesday questioned White House medical adviser Anthony Fauci over a 2004 clip of an interview he gave about whether vaccination is necessary after someone has been infected with the flu.

On C-SPAN in 2004, Fauci said that someone who had "the flu for 14 days" is "as protected as anybody can be because the best vaccination is to get infected yourself."

Paul claimed that this contradicted Fauci's recent comments recommending that parents vaccinate their children who have previously contracted COVID-19. Fauci denied this, saying that Paul was playing the clip without the proper context. He also referenced a report from Reuters that stated his comments about the flu were not in contradiction to his COVID-19 recommendations.

In response to Paul's claims that he was "denying the very fundamental premise of immunology," Fauci countered, "I have never, ever denied fundamental immunology. In fact, I wrote the chapter in the textbook of medicine on fundamental immunology."

Fauci added that while being infected is a "very potent way" to provide protection, a vaccine grants an "added, extra boost."

Paul went on to grill Fauci about whether he or anyone involved in the agency committees that authorize vaccines receive royalties from pharmaceutical companies and threatened "to change the rules" in order to force their divulgence if Republicans gain control of Congress.

The New World Order is already Here

Report by : Vernon Coleman

The world is full of people who think that those of us who worry about what is happening are half crazed conspiracy theorists. But the odd thing is that most of those people who think we are conspiracy theorists are themselves concerned about things that are happening and that have affected them. The problem is that they haven’t looked at the big picture – they don’t realise that all the bad things that have been happening in the last few years are connected. The rebranded flu, global warming, the manipulated war against Russia, the war against us, the deliberately destroyed global economy, the price rises, the inflation – they are all linked.

The innocents have failed to put two and two together, partly because they’ve been too busy worrying about individual threats to their daily lives, partly because they find it difficult to believe that anyone could conceive of a plot as evil as the one that has been underway for years, partly because they’re naïve, unquestioning and too ready to believe what they’re told by an utterly corrupt mainstream media, and partly because right from the start those of us who’ve told the truth have been demonised, lied about, censored, suppressed and very effectively silenced by the mainstream media.

When the Great Reset finally arrives, Sir Klaus Schwab, knighted by Queen Elizabeth for services to conspiracy, will be the unelected King of an entirely corrupt world government. Schwab, a 40s villain from central casting, a cross between Dr Strangelove, Ernst Blofeld and Dr Mengele, will be surrounded by a gang of C list crooks, conspirators and half-forgotten celebrities.

If we’re not careful we are going to be controlled by those I regard as sad, sorry, second-rate human beings; people such as Fauci, Whitty, shabby little civil servants, and Gates, a friend of Jeffrey Epstein and the BBC. (If Epstein were still alive, the BBC would doubtless give him a chat show.) Dolly Parton and Piers Morgan will be joint Global Ministers in charge of apparently knowing everything but, in reality, understanding nothing. Charles, a 70 odd year old bloke who has to have help taking the top off his breakfast egg and putting toothpaste on his brush, will be in charge of entitlement with William and Kate, a pair of Stepford wives, as his assistants. The Duke and Duchess of California will doubtless be in charge of whingeing and sulking – and a good job they’ll make of it I’m sure.

If we allow these sad and sorry creatures to defeat us it will be like the Brazilian football team being thrashed by a team of one-legged pirates with the scurvy.

But, sadly, we are being beaten. The conspirators and the collaborators are already running the world.

Biden accused of pressurizing FBI to fabricate "extremist" and "White supremacist" cases

Reporters : Kerry Picket etal., The Washington Times / https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2022/sep/15/biden-accused-pressuring-fbi-fabricate-extremist-a/

Rank-and-file FBI agents are accusing the Biden administration of exaggerating the threat of White supremacists and pressuring agents to cook up domestic terrorist cases involving racist extremists.

Current and former FBI agents told The Washington Times that the perceived White supremacist threat is overblown by the administration. They said top bureau officials are pressuring FBI agents to create domestic terrorist cases and tag people as White supremacists to meet internal metrics.

“The demand for White supremacy” coming from FBI headquarters “vastly outstrips the supply of White supremacy,” said one agent, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “We have more people assigned to investigate White supremacists than we can actually find.”

The agents’ revelations coincide with President Biden’s “United We Stand” summit Thursday at the White House. The summit built upon the administration’s push to root out racially motivated domestic violent extremists, which included the creation of a specialized Justice Department unit to combat domestic terrorism.

The FBI agent, who did not want to be identified talking about bureau politics, said those driving bureau policies “have already determined that White supremacy is a problem” and set an agency-wide policy to elevate racially motivated domestic extremism cases as priorities.

Senior judge named as special master to review documents seized at Mar-a-Lago raid

Reporter : Jeff Mordock, The Washington Times / https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2022/sep/15/raymond-dearie-named-special-master-trump-mar-lago/

A New York federal judge was appointed Thursday to serve as an independent arbitrator to decide if materials seized in the FBI’s search of President Trump’s home should be returned to him, a move that rejects the Justice Department‘s request to proceed with its investigation.

Senior Judge Raymond Dearie will serve as special master to referee the fight over the materials seized by the Justice Department and Mr. Trump, who claims the materials are protected by attorney client privilege.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who appointed Judge Dearie, thus denied the Justice Department’s effort to resume its criminal investigation into whether Mr. Trump mishandled classified documents. Investigators’ review of the material had been temporarily halted by Judge Cannon until the special master has a chance to decide if any of the items should be barred from use by investigations in the criminal probe.

Under Judge Cannon’s decision, Judge Dearie will have until Nov. 30 to review the Trump documents.

Judge Cannon’s denial sets up a Justice Department appeal of her earlier decision, which will be heard by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in Atlanta.

Justice Department spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In her Thursday decision, Judge Cannon said the government did not suggest “any identifiable emergency or imminent disclosure of classified information arising from plaintiff’s allegedly unlawful retention of the seized property.”

Judge Cannon, who was appointed by Mr. Trump, also disputed that the review of classified materials to assess if any damage was caused by their alleged mishandling would stymie the criminal investigation into the former president.

She said the order does not prohibit the government from conducting its investigation, questioning witnesses, or bringing charges based on anything other than the seized materials.

Mr. Trump’s legal team last month asked Judge Cannon to appoint a special master to review the records seized in the August 8 raid and return any materials that may be covered by executive privilege or attorney-client privilege.

The Justice Department fought the appointment of a special master, arguing that it had already done its own review and Mr. Trump could not raise executive privilege claims that ordinarily permit a president to withhold information, because he was no longer commander-in-chief.

Judge Cannon sided with Mr. Trump and ordered both sides to name a candidate for the role. The Trump team put forth two candidates, including Judge Dearie, while the Justice Department suggested three potential special masters.

Judge Dearie was the only candidate both sides had agreed upon. The deadline of Nov. 30 to finish his review of the Trump documents will significantly slow down the investigation, unless the 11th Circuit quickly weighs in.

Judge Dearie serves on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Brooklyn, where he has taken senior status, meaning he still works but his caseload is significantly less than other judges.

He was appointed to the bench by President Reagan in 1986 and served as the chief judge of the Brooklyn federal court. He also served a seven-year term, which concluded in 2019, on the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, which approves the domestic wiretapping of those deemed threats to America.

While on the FISA court, Judge Dearie was one of the judges who approved the Justice Department’s application to surveil former Trump campaign figure Carter Page as part of its probe into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

Mr. Trump has frequently railed against the FISA court for approving the Page warrant. However, in an earlier court filing, his lawyers touted Judge Dearie‘s experience in dealing with classified materials cases.

Magnesium helps relieve pain

Report by : Jacob Teitelbaum

Clinical experience, as well as research in nerve pain conditions such as pancreatic cancer, has shown that magnesium can be an effective treatment for pain. Although it is clear why magnesium can decrease muscle pain (it makes muscles relax), why it would help nerve pain was less clear.

A study on rats to be printed in The Journal of Physiology confirms our clinical experience that magnesium decreases nerve pain — while also pointing to how it works.

A major mechanism of pain is the excessive stimulation of a brain chemical called "NMDA." The few medications that help decrease and balance this pain-carrying neurotransmitter have the downside of causing significant side effects. Magnesium seems to settle down NMDA without the toxicity.

For an especially powerful effect, the magnesium can be used intravenously, and is an important tool used by most holistic physicians.

IV magnesium is the single most effective treatment to eliminate an acute migraine headache, and has even been shown to ease the incredibly severe nerve pain that can sometimes be seen in pancreatic cancer.

It is also very helpful for settling down fibromyalgia pain, which has a muscle and nerve component.

The authors of the study suggest that magnesium deficiency can be a major amplifier of pain. Because of food processing, most people are magnesium deficient.

If you have pain, a dose of 250 to 500 mg of magnesium a day can start to decrease these deficiencies as well as the pain, after just several weeks — while also leaving you feeling more energetic and decreasing your risk of heart disease.

Taiwan legislator: Taiwan policy law lays the foundation for Taiwan-U.S. relations for the next 40 years

The U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs Committee overwhelmingly passed the "Taiwan Policy Act of 2022" with 17 votes in favour and 5 votes against, which will then be voted on by the Senate. Taiwan legislator Lin Junxian pointed out that the increase in military aid to Taiwan from 4.5 billion to 6.5 billion US dollars in this bill is "timely rain" for Taiwan. The relationship lays the foundation.
Lin Junxian believes that the original proposal version is slightly different from the approved version, but it can be described as "unchanged form and upgraded connotation". The AIT (American Institute in Taiwan) was renamed, the U.S. representative in Taiwan needed to be appointed by the U.S. Senate, and three items were revised or deleted, including Taiwan as a major non-NATO ally. However, in 2003, the Bush administration had already designated Taiwan as a "de facto" main non-NATO ally, the arms sales and cooperation over the years have been handled in the same way, and have no substantial impact on the military relationship between Taiwan and the United States.
Lin Junxian believes that the most important thing is to allow Taiwan to display its sovereignty symbols in federal agencies and to retain free military aid to Taiwan. Military aid has also increased from 4.5 billion to 6.5 billion U.S. Dollars, because Taiwan's defense budget seems to be large, but personnel And the operation maintenance fee is more than half, and very little is really used for equipment renewal. Otherwise, a special budget will be prepared. The amount of U.S. military assistance this time is very large for Taiwan, and it is a precious timely rain.
Lin Junxian analyzed that if the "Taiwan Relations Act" defines Taiwan-U.S. relations in the past 40 years, the "Taiwan Policy Act" is to lay the foundation for the next 40 years of Taiwan-US relations, and this is its historical orientation. The former focuses on defining how Taiwan and the United States should interact and interact, as well as the United States' concerns about Taiwan's future; the latter translates concerns into substantive actions, demonstrating its determination not to allow anyone to change the status quo across the Taiwan Strait and the Indo-Pacific through military aid, and allowing the display of sovereignty symbols , and take a big step forward in normalizing Taiwan's status.

Taiwan Policy Act passed overwhelmingly, ex-diplomat: quasi-diplomatic implication
Former diplomat Liu Shijie put forward his views. The first point is that Taiwan's quasi-ally ties with the United States are described as "major non-NATO ally". He explained that in the past, when the U.S. government mentioned Taiwan, it often used partnership/partnership, but the word ally had a high degree of diplomatic connotation, and even more quasi-diplomatic connotations.
Liu Shijie added that the text version adopted by the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee is "Taiwan shall be treated as though it were designated a major non-NATO ally". This means that Taiwan is not officially given the status of "major non-NATO ally", but is actually treated as "major non-NATO ally".
Liu Shijie pointed out that NATO is the most important international organization of the United States in defense and diplomacy. Whether it is Ukraine or Lithuania, the United States uses NATO as a lever to respond or intervene to varying degrees. Comparing Taiwan as a non-NATO ally, and even adding a major in front of it, is a boost to Taiwan's security in addition to considering Taiwan as an important ally. In the future, U.S. arms sales to Taiwan will be faster.
Liu Shijie pointed out that "to provide the people of Taiwan with de facto diplomatic treatment equivalent to foreign countries, nations, states, governments, or similar entities" in the bill means to provide Taiwanese with the same substantial diplomatic treatment as other countries. The phrase de facto diplomatic treatment has a lot of room for interpretation. Even whether the appointment of the future AIT director needs to pass the U.S. Senate is also one of the indicators.
Liu Shijie concluded that the "Taiwan Policy Act" will fundamentally readjust the U.S. policy toward Taiwan, and even affect the U.S. "one China policy". It is understandable for the US administration to be cautious.
Legislator Guo Guowen said that the voting results show that supporting Taiwan is a consensus among US political parties. If the "Taiwan Policy Act" officially takes effect in the future, it will be the most comprehensive reshaping of Taiwan-US relations since the 1979 "Taiwan Relations Act". ; The United States will hold (mid-term) elections in November, which can predict whether the "anti-China protection of Taiwan" in the US Congress will be weakened. The "Taiwan Policy Act" will bring Taiwan-US relations to a "substantive" or even "political" level on the road.
Guo Guowen mentioned that this vigorously slapped the face of past pro-China people who criticized the Taiwan-US exchange as a criticism of visiting and sightseeing. It is worth noting that the provisions in the "Taiwan Policy Act" that regard Taiwan as a "non-NATO main ally" and elevate Taiwan to the roles of Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Israel are very obvious to the CCP.
The Times Power Legislative Yuan Caucus said that it is pleased to see the support given by the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and will also pay close attention to the future status of this bill in the Senate and the House of Representatives. It also reminds the government that Taiwan cannot rely solely on foreign assistance but must continue to strengthen its national defense and economic defense capabilities.
The Times Power Party Group emphasized that the national army should not be regarded as a free labor force when training is strengthened, and the national army should be sent to answer 1922 calls and make masks at will; attach importance to the national army's protective clothing, improve the quality of public hair, and actively grasp all aspects of the production system. Determine whether to extend the period of compulsory service as soon as possible; increase and normalize the defense budget, and the budget should continue to increase; the economic level should be considered from the investment review, that is, Chinese capital with link to the CCP or communist capital should be strictly prevented from entering Taiwan by detour.
