The blatant violence by the Chinese consulate shocked the British political circles, and the police intervened in the investigation

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held and attracted global attention. However, on the first day of the opening, the consul general of the Chinese consulate in Manchester of the United Kingdom actually went into battle in person and beat Hong Kong people who were protesting peacefully, causing a shock in the UK. Several British MPs demanded that the CCP apologize and repatriate those involved.

At 3 pm local time on Sunday (16 October 2022), violent clashes broke out outside the CCP Consulate in Manchester, England.

When the pro-democracy group "Front for the Defence of Hong Kong People" held a rally and peaceful protest, a number of CCP consulate personnel dressed in black and wearing protective equipment rushed out of the consulate. While the consul general took the initiative to tear the banner with the Chinese characters for "Heaven destroys CCP", other consulate personnel grabbed cartoons and slogans displayed at the rally and dragged protesters into the courtyard and beat them.

The Hong Kong people who were beaten fell to the ground, and some people shouted "don't beat" and "don't beat people" in English.

The people present at the rally quickly stepped forward to stop it. During the entire conflict, Zheng Xiyuan, the consul of the Chinese Communist Party in Manchester, in the above image looked on.

The beaten protester, a Hong Konger in the UK, said: "This is why we came out to protest. The so-called Hong Kong government said we were 'thugs', so what is your government (the CCP) doing now? Who are the thugs? We are peaceful demonstrators. Why beat us?"

In the end, the British police at the scene rushed into the consulate and rescued the protesters who were beaten.

Manchester Police subsequently issued a written statement saying, "Greater Manchester Police are aware of what happened at the Chinese Consulate in Manchester at around 3 pm on Sunday, 16 October 2022. Police were present and responded immediately to defuse the situation. They are investigating to get the full picture."

Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham also released a statement on his official website, saying the police had launched a full investigation and were in close contact with the Home Office and Foreign Office. Burnham made it clear that "it is absolutely unacceptable for peaceful protesters to be attacked, and those responsible need to be held accountable for their actions."

War-wolf diplomacy gets violent overseas

The Epoch Times columnist Wang He said, "The officials of the CCP system are used to being domineering in China. The common people have no rights and can fight whatever they want. Then they take this habit abroad again."

Former Conservative leader and MP Iain Duncan Smith tweeted, "The UK government must demand a full apology from the CCP ambassador to the UK and that those responsible be sent back to China."

The CCP then responded: "A small group of 'Hong Kong independence' elements gathered outside the consulate without approval" and expressed "strong indignation" at the hanging of "a portrait that insults the Chinese (CCP) head of state", but it was only the consulate staff did not mention a word about their violent beatings.

CCP violates the UK government

The Epoch Times columnist Wang He said, "In Western democracies, citizens have freedom of speech. He went to the CCP's embassies abroad, and the people went to protest, exercising their legitimate rights and interests, which itself is not under the jurisdiction of the CCP. So the official response of the CCP is completely nonsense and confounds right and wrong, in fact, its behavior, this kind of speech itself is a violation of the country where it is located, i.e. the British government.”

British society was shocked when Chinese diplomats beat protesters inside the UK.

Labour's shadow foreign secretary, MP David Lammy, tweeted, "Britain stands for freedom, the rule of law and democracy. The repression of peaceful protests will never be tolerated on our streets."

British MP Layla Michelle Moran also tweeted, "It's really scary, today I am writing to the Home Secretary and Foreign Secretary, all consular officials involved in this appalling act, should be expelled from the UK."

中亚峰会上遭塔吉克总统训斥7分钟 普京尴尬

Last Friday (14 October 2022), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS, referred to as "CIS") Summit was held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon berated Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit of Central Asian leaders.

The Commonwealth of Independent States consists of a number of former Soviet republics, headquartered in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, and currently has 9 members, namely Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.

At the recent CIS summit, Putin sat solemnly in a chair and patiently listened to a seven-minute lecture by the Tajik president under the watchful eyes of a group of Central Asian leaders and officials. Putin nods at times, but his expression is very dismayed, and several other Central Asian leaders have expressions of consternation.

Rahmon: Putin risks repeating the mistakes of the Soviet Union collapse

A video of Rahmon berating Putin went viral online, and Rahmon warned that not enough attention was paid to small countries and that there was a risk of repeating the mistakes of the collapse of the Soviet Union.

"Yes, we are a small country, we don't have 100-200 million people, but we have history, culture, we have love, and we want to be respected," Rahmon said emotionally, "We don't want anything, we just want get respect."

"We are your military base, we do everything you ask, and we really try to be the 'strategic partner' you pretend to be us," Rahmon said.

Rahmon tells Putin's Russia to invest more in Central Asia

Rahmon complained that African countries were getting better treatment from Russia and Putin should invest more in Central Asia, accusing Putin of lying about the number of Tajik immigrants in Russia.

Rahmon to reduce Tajik immigration to Russia to avoid being dragged into Putin's war against Ukraine

Rahmon also warned that immigration from Tajikistan to Russia could be reduced, almost a threat. After all, Moscow desperately needs immigrant labour to fill the vacancies created by Putin's recruitment of men for his Ukrainian invasion.

Rahmon's statement was particularly alarming, as there had been no omen of such a statement. As Tajikistan clashes with Kyrgyzstan over the latest and fiercest border dispute, Russian state media has generally been more positive about Tajikistan's actions.

Rahmon awarded by Putin for ensuring "regional stability, peace"

Although Putin reportedly transferred at least 1,500 of his 7,000 Russian soldiers from Tajik bases to the Ukrainian front, shortly afterward, Putin awarded Rahmon a third-class "Order of Merit to the Fatherland" for his efforts to ensure regional stability, peace and contribution to safety.

News (9)

Rahmon is second to criticize Putin face-to-face for his invasion of Ukraine

There has been speculation as to what prompted Rahmon to break out. The media environment in Tajikistan is tightly controlled. Officials are all but banned from speaking to foreign journalists and interlocutors, even in private, and the country has no democratic accountability, so one should talk to the Pamir, who is currently in charge of the country. Minorities have nothing to do with the harshest repression to date.

Since Putin's repeated defeats in Ukraine, Putin's "friends and partners" in Asia have spoken out against him more than once. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi told Putin in front of the media, "This is not the time for war!" Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also humiliated Putin, making Putin wait for half a minute in front of the cameras before the talks.

Russian soldiers pour into Belarus by train, Putin threatens to provide nuclear missiles

俄兵乘火车涌入白俄 普京威胁提供核导弹

Last Saturday (15 October 2022), a large number of Russian soldiers poured into Belarus by train. The Belarusian Ministry of Defense claims that Russia will deploy 9,000 soldiers in the country. That has sparked fears that a fresh ground attack could be imminent in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

Colonel Valery Revenko, Minister of International Military Cooperation of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense and Assistant to the Minister of Defense for International Military Cooperation, wrote on Twitter that the troop train of the first echelon of the Russian army of the Belarusian-Russian regional joint force has begun to arrive in Belarus. The redeployment will take several days, and the total number is close to 9,000.

On the same day, the Russian Foreign Ministry also threatened that it would equip Belarusian Su-25 fighter jets with the ability to carry nuclear missiles.

While the Kremlin has claimed the move is part of a defensive move, some commentators believe Putin is trying to draw Belarus, a country bordering Russia and Ukraine, into his war.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced early last week that he would deploy a "joint military task force" with Moscow, although Minsk also called the move "purely defensive". The latest reports from officials in Moscow and Minsk say Ukraine is now planning an "invasion" of Belarus.

The Belarusian border, 140 miles from Ukraine's capital Kyiv, was used as a launch pad for Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Belarus, which has an army of about 50,000 people, currently does not have its own nuclear missiles and is not considered an effective military force by defense experts.

The Security Council of the Republic of Belarus "started testing the Belarusian armed forces at the direction of the head of state," the Belarusian news agency BelTA reported last week, echoing Russian remarks before the invasion of Ukraine, which in February claimed it was on the border conduct military exercises.

"The tests were comprehensive and covered the most important matters related to the preparation of military units to perform their missions." The report noted that troops will practice "transitions to combat readiness" at the same time as they conduct marching exercises, deployment exercises and combat training missions.

The combat readiness test also includes the Belarusian army testing its mobilization procedures and recruiting reservists. According to reports, Belarus has taken as many as 60 T-72 tanks from warehouses and sent them to the Russian city of Belgorod, near the Ukrainian border.

The invasion of Ukraine was less popular in Belarus, and domestic support for Lukashenko was fragile. However, analysts have warned that if Putin orders Lukashenko to join the war, he will obey.

Kenneth Roth, former executive director of Human Rights Watch, an international NGO based in New York, said, "Joining the war on Ukraine would lead to an extremely unpopular (popular) view of Lukashenko. Further anger from the government, but his most important and only important supporter - Putin wants him to support this failed invasion."

CCP asks citizens to evacuate Ukraine immediately, war threat escalates?

Putin warned on Friday (14 October 2022) that a direct conflict with Russia would lead to a "global catastrophe", after the CCP urged Chinese citizens in Ukraine to evacuate immediately, which intensified fears of an escalation of the war.

The Chinese Communist Party media Global Times tweeted, “In view of the current severe security situation in Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine call on Chinese citizens in Ukraine to strengthen security precautions and evacuate, and the Embassy in Ukraine will assist in organizing transfer of personnel needed for evacuation."

In the announcement, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked Chinese citizens in Uzbekistan to contact the embassy as soon as possible and register their personal information in order to organize the evacuation. Those who evacuated by themselves need to report to the embassy.

While the CCP establishment made no mention of the nuclear threat, its approach seems to suggest that Russia may be preparing to escalate the war after a series of setbacks, given its close relationship with Russia.

Since 10 October, the Chinese embassy has issued three consecutive notices, reiterating the "severe security situation" and reminding its citizens to take "emergency shelter measures and prepare emergency supplies".

"For some time, our fellow citizens have become less vigilant in responding to air raid alerts," the CCP embassy in Ukraine said. "Unless it is urgent and necessary, please do not stay in the country, please leave the country as soon as possible."

It is unclear whether CCP's urgent call for Chinese citizens to leave Ukraine is related to the threat of nuclear war or simply a response to heightened tensions in the country.

Proposed to supply Russian weapons to invade Ukraine, WP: Iran will provide surface-to-surface missiles

拟供俄武器侵乌 华邮:伊朗将提供地对地飞弹

Iran is stepping up its commitment to supply Russian weapons to attack Ukraine, not only secretly agreeing to supply attack drones, but also the first Iranian-made short-range missiles, according to U.S. and allied security officials. ground missile. The move comes after the United States obtained exclusive satellite footage showing a Russian delegation visiting an airport in central Iran at least twice in June to inspect weapons-capable drones.

The Washington Post reported by the Central News Agency that the increase in weapons from Iran could help offset what Biden-Harris administration officials say is the huge loss of Russian military equipment since Russia invaded Ukraine in February. The rapidly dwindling supply of precision-guided munitions used in attacks on several Ukrainian cities.

In recent days, independent news outlets have published photos of what appears to be the wreckage of Iranian-made drones used to attack targets in Ukraine, casting doubt on Iran's repeated denials of supplying its ally Russia with such weapons.

U.S. Defense Department officials also publicly confirmed that Russia used Iranian drones in airstrikes in Ukraine, and Ukraine successfully shot down some of the drones.

U.S. allied officials who closely monitor Iran’s weapons activities said there were clear signs of Iran’s expanding role as a military supplier to Russia, sending officials to Russia on 18 September 2022 to finalize terms for the delivery of more weapons, including two Iranian-made territories. Ground missiles.

An intelligence shared by Ukrainian and U.S. officials indicated that the Iranian arms industry was preparing to deliver the first batch of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, with ranges of 300 kilometers and Zolfaghar, respectively. 700 km. If successful, it would be the first time Iran has provided Russia with such missiles since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Farzin Nadimi, an Iranian weapons expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy think tank in Washington, said, "The development from drones to surface-to-surface missiles may give Russia more options to conduct more blows."

Iran has one of the largest and most diverse short- and medium-range missile arsenals in the Middle East. Nadimi said that while Iranian weapons designers have struggled with reliability issues, experts believe the latest models of the Conqueror 110 and Zulfikar missiles are both effective and fairly accurate at relatively short ranges. Some models are equipped with an electro-optical guidance system that allows the missile operator to guide the missile to its final approach to the target.

A Russian delegation visited an airport in central Iran at least twice in June, inspecting Shahed- Type 191 and Shahed-129 weapon-carrying drones. Both models are capable of carrying precision-guided missiles.

"We have received information that the Iranian government is preparing to provide Russia with hundreds of drones, including those that can be armed," Sullivan said in a statement at the time.

Sullivan said, “According to our assessment, the Russian official delegation recently watched a demonstration of Iranian attack drones. There has always been interest in acquiring Iranian weapons-capable drones."

The United States believes that Russia is clearly turning to Iran to supplement its drone combat readiness, but it remains unclear how technologically advanced these drones are and how effective they are.

Iran supplies drones to Russia. U.S.: Iran violates Security Council resolutions

Western intelligence shows that Iran provided Russia with drones to attack Ukraine. The United States has condemned Iran at the United Nations.

At least four people were killed in the Russian military attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with a large number of suicide drones early on Monday. Ukrainian officials said that in recent weeks, the Russian military has been using drones provided by Iran to bomb cities such as Kyiv, Odessa and Zaporozhzhia.

The U.S. State Department said on Monday that Iran violated UN Security Council resolutions by supplying the drones to Russia.

U.S. State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said, “Our French and British allies have provided analysis that Iran’s provision of unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia violates UN Security Council Resolution 2231.”

Ukraine has concluded that Russia is using an Iranian-made "Witness-136" (Shahed-136) drone. The Washington think tank "War Institute" pointed out in a recent assessment report that Russia has purchased an unknown number of "Arash-2" (Arash-2) drones from Iran, which are said to be larger than the "Witness". -136" is faster and deadlier.

On Monday, EU diplomats also said they were watching the matter closely and were ready to take countermeasures.

Josep Borrell, the EU's top foreign affairs representative, said, "We are gathering evidence and ready to take action."

Iran's foreign ministry on Monday again denied supplying Russia with any weapons for the Ukrainian war.

The U.S. side said that the Russian military’s purchase of drones from Iran shows that Western sanctions against Russia have had an effect.

The identity of Sitong Bridge banner holder as exposed. He is a physicist and entrepreneur. French sinologist Bai Xia expressed admiration and sorrow for him

Editor : Zhongkang / Report by : RFI / https://www.aboluowang.com/2022/1016/1816627.html

On 13 October 2022, a protest slogan was displayed on an elevated area of Sitong Bridge, Beisanhuan West Road, Haidian District, Beijing, calling for a class strike to remove the dictator Xi Jinping.” Several websites have disclosed the personal information of the banner holder, who is reported to be a researcher, an electromagnetic physicist and entrepreneur.

According to the introduction of the overseas "Change China" website: The man's name is Peng Lifa and his online name is Peng Zaizhou, and he appears to have two Twitter accounts @Lifa_petter and @peng_phy. He posted a similar message two days ago, calling for a strike by students and workers before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, an uprising by the military, and the honking of drivers' horns on 16 October, which have now been deleted.

Peng Lifa has studied physics, and in 2021, he published a paper on electromagnetic force in China's national aerospace publication Science and Technology Innovation Herald, which he tweeted. His papers are available online, (researchgate.net), and he has a label that reads "Commission for Universal Suffrage of the People's Republic of China".

He is also a partner of a company called Beijing Melon Network Technology Co., Ltd., which sells acrylic products.

Earlier this year, he tweeted about spring in Beijing, photos of him donating blood and, more recently, a photo of what appeared to be a family rafting in the Baihe Grand Canyon north of Beijing.

However, the above-mentioned news still needs to be further verified. The man holding the banner on the Sitong Bridge has aroused great attention from public opinion at home and abroad, and various online platforms in China quickly listed "Sitong Bridge", "Bridge", "Brave Man" and "Warrior". " and other words are listed as sensitive words. Many netizen' accounts have been permanently deleted for reposting relevant information.

Overseas Chinese are launching large-scale online demonstrations and on-site demonstrations. The corresponding slogans of Sitong Bridge Righteous Person have appeared on the campuses of many overseas universities. On 14 October 2022, a vehicle hanging asking Xi Jinping to step down crossed the streets of Paris and passed the CCP Chinese Embassy in Paris.

French sinologist Bai Xia expressed his admiration and sorrow for the Sitongqiao protest. He said, "First of all, it shows that China still has hope, and that there are people who dare to to protest with such a tense political atmosphere before the 20th National Congress in Beijing. Admiration aside, it is even more rare for him to stand up to protest alone in the context of knowing that it is impossible to spark a huge wave of protests. However, this also shows that the channels for expressing different opinions in China have been completely blocked, and neither the people nor the Internet have expressed different opinions. Without these channels, citizens can only stand up and express themselves by fighting to the death or at least losing their freedom, so this is very admirable and sad."

There were slogans and banners on the streets of Paris, calling on Xi Jinping to step down and be good to the Communist Party

Editor : Fang Xun / Report by : RFI / https://www.aboluowang.com/2022/1015/1816427.html

A van carrying a banner calling on Xi Jinping to step down drove through the streets of Paris on Friday (14 October 2022).

On Friday morning in the 13th district of Paris, a Chinese-inhabited area, the reporter saw a truck with a slogan and banner that read: President Xi: "Step down after two terms, please don't break the rules; release Wang Bingzhang, Gao Zhisheng, Zhang Zhan, etc. and all political prisoners", "welcome the 20th Congress" and other slogans.

According to the organizers of the event, the van travelled through the streets of Paris all day on Friday, including passing by the CCP embassy.

When asked by reporters, Mr. Zeng, one of the participants, said, "Before the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we have to remind Xi Jinping that there may be some sycophants around him, and he cannot hear outside voices. In fact, the 20th National Congress of This is an opportunity for him. He should take this opportunity to step down. This is good for him, our country, our nation, and the Communist Party. If he keeps relying on it and breaks the rules, then it will be good for the whole of China. The future development is endless."

Mr. Zeng also said, "Before us, Beijing had already acted. The friend (who hung the protest banner on the bridge) said that if you want to eat, you don't need nucleic acid, you need reform, you don't need the Cultural Revolution, you need to be a citizen, don't be a slave, you need votes, not leader. His words represent the voice of the Chinese people.

Mr. Zeng emphasized, "Xi Jinping thinks he has done well in the past 10 years, so we must pass on this voice to him and tell him that our people think so. Please don't stand on the opposite side of the people and the whole history There's no benefit. That's what we're doing with this campaign."

Mr. Zeng added, "Our event was planned before the slogan and banner in Beijing, and it has nothing to do with that. We were almost at the same time as Beijing, which shows that everyone has this heart, and the heart and spirit are connected. All have this desire and this dharma.

Mr. Zeng continued, "More than a hundred years ago, we had Yuan Shikai. He was going to be emperor at that time. He was surrounded by people who pushed him up and pushed him to be the emperor. Now there is another emperor. As a result, Yuan Shikai was emperor for 83 days before he stepped down amid the anger of the people. Xi Jinping must learn from Yuan Shikai's lesson."

Mr. Zeng also said, "There is a butterfly effect. I hope that we can blow a wind in Paris, or a wind in Beijing, and it can reach Xi Jinping. He can reflect on it. If he can take a step back at this critical time, I will feel that it is good for his regime, for the Communist Party, for our entire Chinese people, and for our Chinese nation."
