The epidemic situation in Wuhan, Hubei Province, has resurged, and a large number of netizens on Weibo have rumored that on Monday (21 November 2022) Wuhan will be "locked down" for 5 days. As of The Epoch Times deadline, the official has not responded to this.

After the end of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the epidemic situation of the CCP virus/ Wuhan virus (Wuhan pneumonia, covid, COVID-19) in mainland China continued to be severe. On 19 November  the official report added 24,435 local cases (including symptomatic and asymptomatic infections).

According to the official website of the Hubei Provincial Health Commission, 8 new local cases were confirmed in the province on the 19th, all in Wuhan; there were 241 new local asymptomatic infections, of which Wuhan accounted for the most 135 cases, and 74 cases were screened for key populations. The detection shows that the social aspect of Wuhan is difficult to clear. The number of new cases in Wuhan has exceeded 100 for 2 consecutive days.

On 20 November 2022, it was reported on Weibo and WeChat that Wuchang, Jiang’an, Jianghan, Hongshan and other districts in Wuhan will be silently managed for 5 days starting from 21 November. People rushed out to grab food for this reason. Netizens interpreted that Wuhan is going to be locked down again.

According to the notices issued by many communities in Wuhan on the Internet, starting from 21 November, all commercial entities will be closed for 5 days (except supermarkets and bazaars); all restaurants will be closed for 5 days; all office buildings will be closed, and personnel will stay at home for 5 days. For offices, all property management communities implement one gate to enter and exit the jurisdiction; universities implement closed campus management for one week; all primary and secondary schools switch to online teaching for 5 days.

Wuhan will be "closed" again on the 21st, sparking heated discussions on social media.

"Is the notification the whole city or the three districts of Wuchang, Hongshan, and Jiang'an? The company's office building in Jianghan District has also been verbally informed that it has been silent for 5 days."

"Beginning at the end of October, the wheel area was silent for 5 days. After the company was canceled and unemployed, it lay in silence for 20 days. The express delivery just finished 3 days of silence, and the city will start to be silent for 5 days. What happened to the world?"

"I heard that the whole city will be silent for 5 days? I don't know if it's true or not. Every time there are all kinds of gossip, and then there are all kinds of looting of supplies. I am really tired!"

"I heard that Wuhan will be silent for 5 days starting tomorrow (21st), is it true? All the small shops here are closed, and the long queues at the entrance of the supermarket are scrambling for food."

The epidemic situation in Jiang'an District of Wuhan is serious. On 31 October, the local notice was silent for five days from 1 November, no entry or exit, reminding residents to prepare supplies in advance. A large number of residents drove away in the middle of the night, the roads were crowded with vehicles, and a large number of citizens forced supermarkets to buy food late at night.

After Jiang'an District implemented silent management from 1 to 5 November, it was reported that Dongxihu District, the most severely affected area in Wuhan, will be under silent management for 7 days from 19 November. So far, nine places in Dongxihu District have been listed as high-risk areas.

According to the official notification of Jiang'an District, Wuhan, from 8 am on 20 November, some areas in Jiang'an District have been designated as high-risk areas and low-risk areas. The high-risk area is Dazhi Mall, No. 26 Huihui Street, Dazhi Street, Jiang'an District.

High-risk areas implement sealing and control measures such as "staying at home and providing door-to-door service".

It is rumoured on the Internet that Wuhan will be locked down, some people are buying and some are fleeing

The epidemic situation in Wuhan, China has resurged, and news from many places on the Internet shows that the city will be closed again on 21 November. Residents rushed to buy supplies overnight or fled Wuhan.

China's Weibo and WeChat have been spreading rumours that Dongxihu District, the most severely affected area in Wuhan, will be "quietly managed for 7 days" starting from 19 November. So far, nine places in Dongxihu District have been listed as "high-risk areas".

The Wuhan Jiang'an District Epidemic Prevention Headquarters also notified that from 8 am on 20 November, some areas in Jiang'an District have been designated as "high-risk areas."

On the 20th, the administrative districts of Wuchang, Jiang'an, Jianghan, and Hongshan in Wuhan successively reported that they will "global silent management for 5 days" starting from 21 November. Netizens are spreading the word that the city is once again on lockdown. For this reason, people went out overnight to grab food, and some people drove out of Wuhan overnight.

According to the notice issued by many communities in Wuhan, starting from 21 November 2022, all commercial entities will be closed for 5 days (except supermarkets and bazaars); all restaurants will be closed for 5 days; all office buildings will be closed, and personnel will work from home for 5 days; All communities implement one-way access; all universities implement closed campus management for one week; all primary and secondary schools switch to online teaching for 5 days.

The CCP's official city closures generally set a "time limit", but once implemented, they are often delayed again and again, and the closure is indefinite.

On the 11th, the CCP authorities announced the so-called "20 measures to optimize epidemic prevention", strictly prohibiting "random silent management, blockade and control, and long-term unblocking." However, the authorities emphasized that "dynamic clearing is unshakable." Under the pressure of "clearing", the areas where the epidemic broke out still implemented various inhumane and severe blockades.

In the past three years, Wuhan has been locked down many times, making life difficult for the people. From 1 to 5 November 2022, Jiang'an District of Wuhan also had "silent management" for 5 days but it still did not prevent the virus from continuing to spread.

BN.1 the latest Omicron spawn on CDC's tracking database

Reporter : Erin Plater, Fortune Well / https://fortune.com/well/2022/11/14/what-is-bn-1-meet-newest-omicron-spawn-being-tracked-by-cdc-covid-centers-for-disease-control-and-prevention/

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Friday added a 16th variant to the list of those it’s tracking—BN.1.

The newly singled-out strain was estimated to comprise just over 4% of U.S. infections through Saturday, making it the sixth most common variant in the country. It came in just above BA.4.6, a descendant of Omicron spawn BA.4, which was prominent globally this summer.

Just what do we know about one of the newer additions to COVID’s autumn “alphabet soup”?

BN.1, also a strain of Omicron, is a shorter name for B.1.1.529.2.75.5.5.1, according to cov-lineages.org, a collection of COVID data run by contributors at universities in the U.K. and Australia. The new variant is also a descendant of “stealth Omicron” BA.2, which became famous for producing confusing results on lab-based COVID tests when it was prominent this spring and summer.

As with so many new Omicron variants, just how the strain might present itself—especially in a large population—is unknown. But BN.1 has a high potential for escaping immunity from previous infection and vaccination, Cornelius Roemer, a computational biologist at the University of Basel in Switzerland, recently wrote. And the variant has the ability to compete with other circulating lineages, according to a journal article published last week in Cureus Journal of Medical Science from researchers in India.

So far, the largest concentrations of BN.1, first identified in late July 2022, have been found in the U.S., the U.K., Austria, Australia, and India, according to covid-lineages.org. Each country is home to about 15% of the nearly 4,000 identified cases throughout the world.

Although new on the radars of many, BN.1 has already spawned nine known child and grandchild variants, most of which were first identified in August and September. All have been identified in European countries like Austria, the U.K., Denmark, Germany, and Ireland. Some have been identified in Asian countries like Singapore, South Korea, and Japan, as well as in India and Israel.

The domestic covid oral medicine was sold online for one day and was taken off the shelves. Expert: It is not a medicine for every person
Reporter : Liming / Editor: Hu Long / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/11/20/a103579342.html Image : A promotional picture of the online pre-sale of China's first domestically produced covid oral drug "Azvudine". (Internet screenshot)
国产新冠口服药网售一天被下架 专家:不是给全民吃的药
Recently, in mainland China, there has been a phenomenon of people frantically buying and hoarding cold medicines. At this juncture, the first domestic new crown oral drug "Azvudine" (Azvudine) began to be pre-sold on the Internet. However, the drug was pulled from the shelves only one day after it was launched. Experts said that Azvudine tablets are prescription drugs, "absolutely not for the general public." However, some media found that after a website changed the indication of the drug to AIDS, it continued to pre-sell it online.
Recently, people in many places in China have been rushing to buy anti-epidemic items and medicines. Common antipyretics, medicines for treating colds, and "Lianhua Qingwen", which claims to be effective in preventing and treating COVID-19 (covid), have all been snapped up frantically. In Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, the drug at almost all pharmacies in the city were sold out. Some public opinion believes that this is because the CCP authorities recently announced the so-called "20 Measures for Optimizing Epidemic Prevention".
Just when the wave of drug hoarding began to appear, some large online drugstores on Internet life service platforms such as "Meituan" and "Pinduoduo" released pre-sales of the domestically produced covid oral drug "Azvudine Tablets" on 18 November."
The drug sales webpage of the chain pharmacy Neptune Star shows that Azivudine tablets cost 350 RMB per bottle, 35 tablets per bottle, and each tablet has a specification of 1 mg. Buyers need to provide covid prescription information. However, by noon on 19 November, the relevant drug sales pages on the above-mentioned platforms had been quietly removed from the shelves.
According to a report by the Chinese mainland media "First Finance and Economics", insiders of Neptune Star disclosed that an emergency notice issued by the State Food and Drug Administration has been communicated within the industry, and Azivudine is not allowed to be retailed online or offline. If it has been sold, the sales record should be reported to the Municipal Bureau.
"First Finance and Economics" stated that some clinical experts said that Azvudine Tablets is a prescription drug, and it was approved by emergency authorization. It is mainly used as a backup medicine for the elderly and other vulnerable groups with serious underlying diseases. Therefore, it should not be sold online, and it is not suitable for people to buy and take it by themselves.
However, Jiemian News reported a rather strange phenomenon: In the evening of 18 November 2022, the page selling Azvudine tablets showed that the drug’s indication was COVID-19 (covid) but in the morning of 19 November, the sales page showed the indication for this drug has been changed to AIDS (HIV). Whether it was on the 18th or the 19th, the reporter of the media contacted the seller as an ordinary customer and could successfully pre-order the drug.
According to the analysis of the report, the rapid change of the indications for selling the drug within a day is obviously a ulterior motive. I am afraid that some people are trying to "take advantage of the enthusiasm of some people to hoard drugs" to dump this drug, hoping to make it "the second selling drug" like Lianhua Qingwen. The article stated that this phenomenon reflects that there are still loopholes in the current supervision of Internet prescription drugs.
According to public information, Azivudine Tablets is a dual-target anti-AIDS drug developed by Henan Zhenbio, and it is also the only domestically-made oral drug for covid approved by the State Food and Drug Administration of the Communist Party of China for emergency use. For a long time, medical experts have been very controversial about the decision to use this drug as an oral drug for the treatment of covid.

The CCP sets the tone of "dynamic clearing not out of shape" Shijiazhuang resumes nucleic acid testing for all employees

中共定调“清零不走样” 石家庄恢复全员核酸检测

After the CCP announced the "Optimization of 20 Measures for Epidemic Prevention", it repeatedly reiterated its insistence on "clearing to zero". On the same day, Shijiazhuang ordered several districts to restart the lockdown and nucleic acid testing for all staff, and was ridiculed for "failure of the 7th reform".
After the National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China released the "20 Measures" on 11 November, the "People's Daily" issued a series of commentary articles calling for "adhere to the general policy of 'external defense import, internal defense rebound' and 'dynamic clearing'".
On the 20th, the newspaper published an article again. In addition to reaffirming the "dynamic clearing" of "Wei Guangzheng", it added the slogan of "adhering to the dynamic clearing policy without wavering or out of shape".
The article stated that the "20 optimization measures" are not to relax prevention and control, but to improve the "scientificity, precision, and effectiveness" of prevention and control. Other measures are still implemented in accordance with the "9th Edition of Prevention and Control Plan" to "achieve the greatest prevention and control effect with the least cost" and so on.
On 20 November, Shijiazhuang, which implemented the "20 measures to optimize epidemic prevention", issued a notice saying that in view of the current "epidemic prevention and control situation" in the city and the "new characteristics" of virus mutation, in order to achieve "dynamic clearing" of the social aspect, it was decided to From 12 am on 21 November to 12 am on the 25th, nucleic acid screening will be carried out for all employees in Qiaoxi District, Chang'an District, Yuhua District, Xinhua District, High-tech Zone, and Circular Chemical Industry Park.
In addition to announcing that the "health code assignment" method will be used to force all staff to undergo nucleic acid testing, the announcement also requires residents in high-risk areas to "strictly stay at home", and residents in other areas to "stay at home in principle". Each family can only arrange one person holding the 24-hour nucleic acid negative certificate and the nucleic acid collection certificate of the day to go out for 2 hours to purchase daily necessities.
In addition, it also includes all residents "not leaving the stone unless necessary", closing restaurants, shopping malls, various closed entertainment and sports venues, and various training institutions, and implementing online teaching in primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, etc.
There are 8 municipal districts in Shijiazhuang. The above notice shows that the city's four central urban areas, Qiaoxi District, Chang'an District, Yuhua District, and Xinhua District, will all restart nucleic acid testing and containment measures for all employees.
On 13 November, Shijiazhuang announced the "strict implementation of 20 optimization measures" and the cancellation of some epidemic prevention policies. It was once suspected by the outside world that it was listed as a "lie down pilot". However, the announcement on the 20th showed that the strict blockade and control had returned again, and netizens ridiculed that "Shijiazhuang's '7th Restoration' ended in failure." Some netizens believe that this is nothing more than the CCP's "central and local governments co-performing a double play".
There are early signs of tightening of Shijiazhuang's epidemic prevention. On the 14th, the city closed all free nucleic acid testing points on the streets, but opened the testing points again on the 15th.
The city temporarily relaxed its epidemic prevention measures, but the high pressure of the authorities' "dynamic clearing" is still there, causing chaos in the implementation of the policy. For example, the authorities ordered the closure of free nucleic acid testing sites, but public places and buses still require nucleic acid certificates. Netizens accused this of forcing citizens to do nucleic acid testing at their own expense. In addition, the authorities ordered students to resume classes but some schools secretly discouraged students from returning to school while announcing the reopening, suspected of being afraid of taking responsibility.

Guangdong's economic reality: "Factory shutdown" has become a buzzword
Since September 2022, Guangdong’s manufacturing and light industries have been abnormal. In the busiest season of previous years, many people left work early this year to line up for nucleic acid preparation. Locally, “factory shutdown” became a buzzword.
The once busy Pearl River Delta in Guangdong is deserted this year.
Guangdong business owner: "I have been running a processing factory for more than ten years, and this is the first year I encountered it. It is getting more and more difficult to handle. In previous years, the business was extremely busy, and now... so that there is no end to end. "
A Guangdong netizen left a message on a Chinese social platform, “In previous years, September and October were the busiest time for the factory, working overtime every night, even on weekends. This year, the factory started to shut down at this time. Yesterday was a holiday and today was cleaning. What are you doing?"
Guangdong worker: "In the past, our factory was still very busy at this time, and we had to work overtime until late every day, and it was the kind of soft hands when receiving orders, but this year I was really tired and tired. Five to six million, if most of them are made into finished products and sold, it’s okay, but if they can’t be sold, it’s really possible that the food will be discontinued.”
Mr. Cheng, a citizen living in Shenzhen, said that his factory does not work overtime now, and the situation is very abnormal.
Mr. Cheng, a citizen of Shenzhen: "Like our factory, there is no overtime. Now, those employees, the employees have left a lot. In Shenzhen, not to say in Shenzhen, it is the same everywhere. The migrant workers rely on that. Relying on overtime, you don’t have overtime now, then those people must have left, and many people have left.”
Residents of Guangzhou: "Many people carry buckets and leave Guangzhou."
"Uncle Peng" from the mainland's financial self-media said that due to the epidemic and weak foreign trade this year, migrant workers in some areas have begun to return to their hometowns early for the New Year.
Mr. Cheng: "Last month or two months ago, there was nothing to make, very few. First, there were no orders. It may be that those in foreign countries did not dare to place that order, because you Shenzhen and the Chinese government Here, they don’t give birth to people at every turn, and it’s often, often like this.”
After the outbreak of the epidemic in Guangzhou, not only Guangzhou, but also several major cities in the Pearl River Delta have become stricter in control. In addition to adding high-risk areas, Dongguan has also designated a large-scale temporary control area. Water horses and fences can be seen everywhere in the main urban area of Shenzhen, as well as people queuing up to do nucleic acid.
Mr. Cheng: "Anyway, it's getting more and more serious. Many people thought that when he came to power, the third term, they would relax a bit. Who knows, it's much stricter than before. The same is true here. We do nucleic acid every day here. , there is not a single day that you don’t do it.”
U.S. dollar-denominated exports fell 0.3% year-on-year in October, well below economists' forecasts for a 4.5% rise, data from China's General Administration of Customs showed. Imports also fell, falling 0.7% from a year earlier, the first decline since August 2020.
In October, the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) recorded 49.2, down 0.9 points from September, and fell below the 50 threshold.
David Huang, an economist in the United States: "Originally, October and November were the traditional peak season, but now the situation seems to no longer exist. It is mainly due to the disruption of the global supply chain caused by the previous epidemic, so many countries in Europe and the United States are worried about inventory. Insufficient, and a large number of orders are placed, but now the high inflation and high interest rates in European and American countries are basically suppressing an overheating economy, resulting in a decrease of 40% in the export of daily consumer goods and general household appliances and furniture in South China and East China. to about 50% of the order quantity."
David Huang, an economist based in the United States, analyzed that due to the impact of the epidemic and the tense relationship between the United States and China, some orders have been transferred to Southeast Asian countries. Recently, industry insiders engaged in the export industry have been rumored that a large number of export orders have been cancelled.
David Huang: "There are some companies that use some companies to place large orders from China. After the orders are made, these companies refuse to pay due to the epidemic, bankruptcy, or other methods, which has caused many export factories, especially in South China, to suffer. With this loss, you can’t collect money for the whole ticket business, you can only receive a deposit.”
Guangzhou citizen: "I just came out of get off work, put on a mask, and worked eight hours. Now I have eight hours of work. It's not bad. Some factories have to stop work for four days."
Mr. Li, a citizen of Shenzhen: "It is impossible to say that there is no so-called positive all the year round, so many companies can't continue to do it because of this (daily nucleic acid). I have a few friends who have no choice but to leave Shenzhen. The company is also very difficult. My current state of work is basically a waste of time, and I can’t even guarantee the bottom line.”
David Huang believes that at the beginning of the epidemic, some companies were still full of hope and believed that they could survive, but now that it has lasted for two or three years, everyone is a little discouraged. The current dilemma facing the export industry in South China should be that of 2008, the worst ever.

Afterwards, the organizer pointed out that it was caused by "human error of a junior staff".
The "anti-extradition" movement in Hong Kong was brutally suppressed by the CCP, which aroused the indignation of people all over the world. "Glory to Hong Kong", which praises the "anti-Extradition Movement", is also widely known.

Blamed by Xi Jinping for leaking secrets, Trudeau's response sends a signal

被习近平责怪泄密 特鲁多的回应释放一信号

During the G20 summit this week, Xi Jinping accused Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau of leaking a video that went viral on the Internet. Experts said Trudeau's remarks about confronting Xi Jinping at the scene also sent a signal to Xi.

Brett Bruen, who served as the director of global affairs in the Obama administration, wrote on NBC on 19 November that he has recently seen some embarrassing moments of more dictators in the world. Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced the annexation of a large swath of eastern Ukraine in an elaborate ceremony in Moscow. A few days later, the Russian army was forced to withdraw from some important occupied areas under the strong counterattack of the Ukrainian army; this week, during the G20 summit, Xi Jinping criticized Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau for leaking the content of the conversation between the two, which was refuted by Trudeau on the spot. The video of the confrontation between the two once became the focus of global attention.

According to a video posted on Twitter by the CTV reporter of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, on Wednesday (16 November), Xi Jinping, who was clearly agitated, told Trudeau on the sidelines of the G20 meeting that everything they discussed was leaked to the newspapers, which is true, and not suitable.

Trudeau responded, "In Canada, we believe in free, open and frank dialogue, and we will continue to do so. We will continue to seek constructive cooperation, but there will also be differences of opinion between the two sides."

Trudeau's response sent the signal to Xi Jinping: "Welcome to the free world," Brune said.

It is widely believed that Xi Jinping may be referring to the leaked details of his meeting with Trudeau the day before (15 November). Canadian media reported some of the conversations between the two leaders after their meeting, including Trudeau expressing concerns to Xi over alleged interference by Chinese intelligence agents in the 2019 Canadian federal election.

In fact, it is standard operating procedure for leaders of democracies to reveal something to the media after meetings with foreign government officials, Brune said.

Susan Delacourt, a columnist for Canada's largest circulation newspaper "Toronto Star", described Trudeau being blamed by Xi Jinping, which shows that he is doing his duty.

Delacorte said the "leakage" that Xi accused was standard practice in Canada's prime minister's office in handling dialogue between the country and foreign leaders.

Leaders like Xi and Putin are starting to realize their limitations, Brunn said. What these leaders hate most is transparency, as evidenced by the video of Xi berating Trudeau.

American economist Stephen Roach tweeted on 17 November that the chief censor (referring to Xi Jinping) was angry when the truth was leaked to the liberal media.

Trudeau confirmed at a press conference Wednesday that he "raised the matter of interfering with our citizens" to Xi Jinping after being personally reprimanded by Xi Jinping on Wednesday, saying it was "very important" to have such a dialogue.

Despots certainly do not self-correct, Brune said, and "we need to see good behaviour set by U.S. and other officials." The White House and State Department could issue a more honest read-through of meetings with foreign officials. End the comically vague "we discussed important bilateral issues" language. Make it clear that the U.S. did tell China to stop killing Uyghurs and (stop) arresting protesters. Of course, such an approach will temporarily irritate some people, as Xi Jinping demonstrated in Indonesia.

Talking about Vaccine Broker Xue Ruiyuan: I don’t know how many "vaccine liars" Chen Shizhong blocked

Minister of Health and Welfare Xue Ruiyuan defended Chen Shih-chung, the DPP candidate for mayor of Taipei. In this regard, Xue Ruiyuan said again on 20 November 2022 that vaccine brokers often require a deposit to be paid in advance. As long as they are successfully cheated once, they can make a profit of hundreds of millions of yuan. How to deal with it, during the epidemic, I don’t know how many such "vaccine liars!"

Xue Ruiyuan attended the awards ceremony of the Rare Disease Foundation today. Before the meeting, he was asked by the media that he pointed out that Chen Shizhong had a high hatred value because he blocked people's way of making money. Who is the so-called blocked person? Xue Ruiyuan said bluntly that these vaccine brokers are actually "vaccine scammers" and they do not really want to sell vaccines, because when negotiating conditions, most of them will say, "Now I have vaccines in hand, but you have to pay approximately the total purchase price first." 30% as a deposit", and after these deposits may be paid, there will be no more.

Xue Ruiyuan explained that the domestic epidemic began in April and May 2021. Although the government has purchased vaccines, compared with the pandemic, vaccine factories have delayed Taiwan’s orders, so the vaccines came in very slowly at first. There are so-called brokers who sell various brands of vaccines, but they are all empty talk. Some go directly to the command center, and some go to industrial and commercial enterprises and religious groups to ask the command center about importing.

Xue Ruiyuan said that since the command center has a direct contact channel with the original factory, it can be checked, but when the command center asks who the source of the vaccine is and who is the authorizing party, there is usually no context, and there is no way to show the original factory authorization.

Xue Ruiyuan emphasized how many vaccine scammers Chen Shizhong and the command center have blocked during this period of time. "As long as they can be cheated, each one is worth hundreds of millions of yuan." Therefore, these people may hold grudges and start attacking through the media and the Internet. Said that Chen Shizhong blocked the vaccine, "In fact, we are helping companies and religious groups save this money and stop these scammers."

Xue Ruiyuan also mentioned that Guo Taiming came to the command center later, explaining that he had made a promise with BNT Shanghai Fosun, but needed the assistance of the government. Fosun completed a multi-party contract, enabling BNT vaccine to enter Taiwan.

Xue Ruiyuan said, "We stopped the vaccine scammers, but we assisted these three donation groups. Everyone cooperated to introduce vaccines into the Republic of China. These two things should not be discussed together!"

U.S. military warns: CCP China's nuclear submarines have installed JL-3 missiles

美军警告:中共核潜艇已列装巨浪3导弹
The United States publicly admitted for the first time on Friday (November 18) that the CCP has equipped its six nuclear-powered submarines with new, longer-range ballistic missiles, allowing it to strike the continental United States from closer to its shores.

According to Bloomberg News (link), US Pacific Fleet Commander Sam Paparo said at a meeting in Washington that China's six Type 094 strategic nuclear submarines (NATO code name: Jin-Class) have now installed "JL-3 submarine-launched ballistic missile" (JL-3).

"They were built to threaten the United States," Sam Paparo said. "We are closely tracking these submarines."

The report pointed out that the Pentagon said in its annual report on China's military power (PDF) a year ago that as the Chinese navy deploys newer, more capable and longer-range submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) "will gain the ability to target the continental United States from coastal waters." Ability". The CCP can use this capability to carry out "bastion operations" (bastion operations), that is, to let nuclear submarines attack in the fortress to enhance its survivability.

"The South China Sea and Bohai Bay may be the preferred places for China to adopt this concept," the report reads.

Paparo declined to say whether China has ever sent any Type 094 strategic nuclear submarines to conduct so-called "deterrence patrols" near Hawaii.

The U.S. Congressional Research Service (CRS) estimates that CCP China's past submarine-launched ballistic missile, the Julang-2 missile (JL-2), has a range of approximately 7,200 kilometers (4,464 miles), giving CCP submarines the ability to operate from waters close to China and attack Alaska but the submarines would have to enter waters east of Hawaii to attack the U.S. east coast.

However, the Julang-3 missile with a longer range has changed this situation.

Adm. Charles Richard, the commander of U.S. Strategic Command, told the Senate Armed Services Committee in March that it would allow CCP China to target the continental U.S. “from a protected bastion in the South China Sea.”

Past reports have suggested that the JL-3 could have a range of more than 10,000 km (6,200 miles).

At that time, Richard said, "They now have the ability to use Type 094 strategic nuclear submarines to continue deterrent patrols at sea."

He warned that CCP China was building more weapons that would allow "they have a real nuclear command and control system."

Trump strongly responded to the U.S. Department of Justice: "I don't plan to go through it again"

Democratic U.S. Attorney General Garland on Friday named former Justice Department official Jack Smith as special counsel to investigate Trump's criminal record keeping of presidential records at his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago. investigation. Smith will also investigate whether there was obstruction of this investigation.

Smith will also take over an investigation into whether any person or entity interfered with the transfer of power after the 2020 presidential election or with the certification of electoral votes on or about January 6, 2021, but he will not Take over the portion of that investigation involving those who were at the Capitol on 6 January.

Trump was quick to respond. He told Fox News it was serious politicization of the judiciary while urging Republicans to take action. "I've been going through this for six years and I'm not going to go through it again," Trump said in an exclusive interview with Fox News on Friday. "I hope the Republicans have the courage to fight it."

Trump noted that "for six years, I have been proven innocent of everything," from his sham impeachment to former special counsel Robert Mueller's finding that he had no collusion with Russia. This is unacceptable. This is so unfair. It's too political. "

Eight articles published by the party media are quite clear, and they are criticized for split personality

Reporters : Xia Dunhou and Liu Fang / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/11/20/a103579116.html

After the State Council of the Communist Party of China issued the "Twenty Measures" for epidemic prevention and control, various regions have different standards for loosening nucleic acid testing and personnel control. At the same time, the Chinese Communist Party media recently published eight articles in a row, emphasizing the insistence on zero-covid. What is the intention? Let's see the analysis.

The Chinese Communist Party’s official media, People’s Daily, published its eighth commentary on the “Twenty Points” of epidemic prevention on 20 November 2022, saying that it adheres to the general policy of “dynamic clearing” and will not waver or change its shape.

Epoch Times columnist Wang He: "It wants to change its method and relax this policy. However, it can't lose this hat, because it has tied itself up. Xi's authorities have tied their own lives to dynamic clearing. , so fundamentally it does not waver, just like Mao Zedong’s Cultural Revolution at that time, it could be suspended, it could be adjusted, but if anyone opposes the Cultural Revolution, it must get you down.”

After the release of the CCP’s “Twenty Points”, Shijiazhuang, Hebei implemented the loosening policy but in Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Chongqing and other places, the policy adjustment was slow and even continued to increase.

At a time when the pace of implementation in various places is different, the "People's Daily" continuously published articles signed by "Zhong Yin", emphasizing "dynamic clearing", and even calling for "normalization of epidemic prevention and control", claiming that the "Twenty Measures" are not "Let go and lie flat".

A netizen commented, "This Zhongyin must have some mental problems." "Those who write these all day are divorced from society. They have been doing nucleic acid every day in Zhengzhou for almost two months. During that time, they were still sealed off, and they are still uncleared." "The person who wrote the article should be thrown to Haizhu District and locked up for a few months."

Mr. Qian, a mainland Internet writer: "I think this is just a performance by the shameless literati from the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to show their allegiance to the leader of the country in Zhongnanhai. The bureaucratic system of China (the Communist Party) is a way to train slaves. The system, the master is ambiguous, and issued some instructions for the people below to figure out. In order to show his allegiance to the master, the people below have to go too far. There are all kinds of split personalities, and the foreword does not match. Afterwords, inconsistencies are not surprising."

However, columnist Wang He analyzed that although the CCP has a deformed political ecology, it is also worried about a large-scale outbreak of the epidemic. He estimates that there will be no major changes in the epidemic prevention policy before Li Qiang becomes Premier of the State Council in March 2023.

Qin Gang appeared suddenly at the Republican reception, Haley criticized the CCP

Reporter : Xu Jian / Editor : Gao Jing /  https://www.epochtimes.com/gb/22/11/20/n13869661.htmImage : In the evening of Saturday (November 19) at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s dinner, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley criticized the CCP in a speech. 秦刚突现身共和党酒会 黑利会上重批中共
On 19 November, during the annual leadership meeting of the "Republican Jewish Coalition"  held in Las Vegas, the Republican Party important Characters and patrons gathered together. Former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley criticized the CCP in her speech, and in the audience at the reception that night—there was a team of people including the CCP ambassador Qin Gang.

At Saturday night's meeting, Haley was the first politician to speak (watch the video here, starting at 1:05:00), when she said of the threat of China's invasion of Taiwan that "China is No. 1 threat to our national security," she also criticized the growing threat posed by the Chinese regime to global security.

The Republican Jewish Coalition, the conservative party's annual event, is attended by Republican figures, conservative Jewish activists and donors, and has speakers from the party's potential 2024 presidential contenders, including Trump, Florida Gov. DeSanti Smith and Haley et al.

Qin Gang arrived at the pre-dinner cocktail party with a team of entourage, and they "socialized" with other guests. Breitbart News reported that it was not clear whether Qin Gang was invited to the reception, or if he came uninvited. Man's appearance was "purely coincidental."

In addition to Haley's denunciation of the CCP as a security threat to the United States, Trump also talked about his plan to bring manufacturing jobs from China back to the United States in his speech. It is currently unclear whether Haley knew that the CCP ambassador and others were also at the reception.

Breitbart News analyzed that if Qin Gang is trying to court prominent Republican politicians, party activists, and donors, the CCP is not the first country to do so. During the Trump administration, Qatar has tried, largely unsuccessfully, to improve its relationship with the United States by arranging meetings and inviting trips to Doha.

Haley also told the audience at the scene that the Republican party's lackluster results in the midterm elections were not the fault of "one person (Trump)" but the cause of the whole party.

Regarding whether she will participate in the 2024 presidential campaign, Haley said, "Now that the midterm elections are over, I will seriously consider it." She said that if she decides to run, she will do her best to win.

"If my family and I decide to continue our (political) service career, we will invest 1,000% and we will complete the task." Haley, who was once the youngest governor of the United States, also said that she was not favored in the election before but she won in the end. "It's always funny when people underestimate me but I've never lost an election," she said.

U.S. Senator's proposal: Prohibit Chinese Communist Party Members from traveling to the U.S.

Editor : Song Feng / Reporter : Changchun / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/11/20/a103579125.html  / Image : Video Screenshot

Rubio, the vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, recently introduced a bill with several Republicans to prohibit the issuance of tourist visas to all members of the Communist Party of China.

Sen. Marco Rubio, vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, and several Republicans recently introduced a bill to prohibit the issuance of tourist visas to members of the Communist Party of China.

A written statement released by Rubio's office on 18 November 2022 said the bill was intended to curb Chinese citizens from joining the Communist Party and further limit the Chinese Communist Party's espionage and propaganda activities in the United States.

The statement stated that there is no restriction on Chinese citizens applying for other visas, including diplomatic visas, student visas, sports and artistic personnel, and investment visas.

Rubio said that in the CCP’s plan to become the only powerful country in the world, it is trying to weaken and destroy the United States, and every party member is required to serve the CCP’s goal. It does not make sense to allow members of the Chinese Communist Party to vacation, shop, or do business in the United States.

Senator Kevin Cramer, who participated in the proposal, also said that the Chinese Communist Party is hurting the interests of the United States every day.

Senator Rick Scott  also mentioned that the United States has seen again and again the terrible cases of CCP agents stealing intellectual property rights, tracking American citizens on American soil, and infiltrating key American research institutions. CCP is the Enemy of the United States, which is seeking total world domination.

Ye Ning, a practicing lawyer in New York, believes that the United States has noticed that the CCP’s domestic propaganda is to defeat the United States and rule the world. Hegemonic ambitions are very obvious.

Ye Ning, a practicing lawyer in New York: "The United States is now repairing the fence, and is taking such a measure. But in fact, this is not a new thing. Originally, Article 212 of the Immigration Law stipulates that Communist Party members are not allowed to enter the country. Members of the Communist Party and other totalitarian organizations are not allowed to enter the United States, nor to obtain permanent resident status in the United States."

Li Yuanhua, a scholar living in Australia, pointed out that the CCP has engaged in wolf-war diplomacy in the world and expanded its surrounding weak countries, all of which have played a destructive role in the world. That is why congressmen who have a clear understanding of the dangers of communism to the world proposed this bill.

Li Yuanhua, a scholar living in Australia: "This shows that you, as a member of the Communist Party, are not welcome in the free world. Because your party spirit suppresses your humanity and makes you do some things that do not conform to universal values. Because the CCP will ask you to obey the organization to serve it.”

Li Yuanhua said that CCP members will follow the party's requirements to do some things that are reasonable in the context of the CCP, but they are actually committing crimes.

On the 16th, Yanjun Xu, the first CCP intelligence officer to be extradited to the United States for trial, was convicted of economic espionage, conspiracy to steal trade secrets, and other crimes, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

On the 17th, the director of the FBI also stated that the FBI is investigating an unauthorized CCP "police station" in New York City.

Canada is also investigating Chinese businessmen supporting the CCP’s “police branch” and other activities.

Li Yuanhua pointed out that Chinese people have two sides: the human side knows that the United States is good, so the CCP leader also sent his daughter to the United States for education; American fighters all emigrate to the United States; while the partisan side is anti-American.

Li Yuanhua: "The U.S. Congressman has actually seen this, and he wants to pass a bill to tell you: If you want to pursue a free and equal society, a peaceful society, then you should not join the CCP. Only in this way, the U.S. welcomes such people. "

Ye Ning pointed out that the CCP has been spurned by the whole world. Since the Trump era, the United States has distinguished the CCP from the Chinese but some Chinese people join the party purely for personal interests.

Ye Ning: "If joining the CCP can't bring various privileges and benefits to the members and their families, who would want to join this evil party? But until now, they clearly know that it is a pit of fire, but some people still jump into it. Because the Communist Party has monopolized the country's resources."

Ye Ning pointed out that the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" published by The Epoch Times systematically exposed the evil of the CCP from practice to theory, and caused a large number of Chinese people to withdraw from the CCP. They have drawn a clean line from the CCP at the level of ideology and soul, and got rid of the control of the evil party, which is of great significance.

"Little Pepper" opponent throws loss, Colorado District avoids recount

“小辣椒”对手认输 科州选区避免重新计票

The Democratic opponent of Colorado Congressperson Lauren Boebert  conceded on Friday (18 November 2022). A recount was avoided, allowing the Republican known as "Little Pepper" to win re-election without twists and turns.

Late Friday, Adam Frisch, the Democratic candidate for Colorado's 3rd congressional district, held a news conference announcing that he had called Boebert to admit that he had lost the race, allowing the race to yhe election campaign, which has been going on for more than a week since Election Day, has come to an end.

Frisch said that while the race appeared to be moving toward a mandatory recount, it was highly unlikely that a recount would change the outcome of the election.

"We didn't ask for this recount. It was mandated by the citizens of Colorado through our electoral system," he said, telling supporters not to donate to his campaign for his recount efforts.

"Please save money on your groceries, your rent and your kids," he said.

"The Democratic Party has slowly but surely eroded trust in rural and working-class America," Frisch said. "Politicians in Denver and Washington, D.C. need to show understanding of the issues facing rural America, working class America and congratulate rather than disrespect people across the country."

"The Democrats have given up on rural America and the working class over the years," he said. "Republicans have monopolized the backbone of this country."

As of Friday, almost all the ballots had been counted, and out of nearly 327,000 ballots cast, Pepper led Frisch by just 551 votes, a gap of 0.16 percentage points between the two.

Under Colorado law, a mandatory recount occurs when two candidates are within half a percentage point.

The recount could take several weeks to complete. A Colorado law states that recounts must be completed within 35 days of the election, and this year the deadline will be Dec. 13.

Boebert announced the victory in a video posted on social media on Thursday night.

"I've been told that there are less than 200 ballots to go, which makes me very happy to announce that we've won this race!" Boebert said.
