世界杯频爆冷 中国球迷看到就医 医院特设门诊

Although the performance of the Chinese men's football team is getting worse and worse, Chinese fans are still obsessed with football and the World Cup. A TCM clinic in Meizhou, Guangdong Province even set up a "World Cup Syndrome" outpatient clinic during the World Cup, and has received 60 to 70 patients so far. Some people even learned that Argentina had lost the game and sought medical treatment for chest tightness and discomfort.

According to mainland media reports, the doctors in the "World Cup Syndrome" outpatient clinic are all members of the football team in the clinic, and they can better understand the discomfort caused by fans watching football games.

"World Cup syndrome" mainly refers to the sudden increase in gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and respiratory diseases caused by some fans staying up late to watch the game and emotional ups and downs during the World Cup.

According to reports, since the outpatient clinic was opened, about 70 people have visited the clinic. Even when Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia in an upset, some patients came to see a doctor with symptoms of chest tightness and shortness of breath. There was also a fan who had trouble sleeping after the German team was eliminated in the group stage, and experienced dizziness, nausea and other symptoms when going to work the next day.

In the game on 22 November, the Saudi Arabian team defeated the South American powerhouse Argentina 2-1, becoming one of the biggest upsets in the history of world football. On 23 November, the Japanese team defeated the German team, which had won the World Cup 4 times, with a 2-1 reversal, which was also beyond the expectations of the outside world.

According to the outpatient doctor, most of the patients who come to see the doctor are male football fans, who suffer from various symptoms such as insomnia, visceral dysfunction, and anxiety caused by continuous staying up late and mood swings. In this regard, the hospital mainly adopts traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture to deal with it.

In this World Cup, Chinese fans also encountered two situations. The hustle and bustle in the stands was compared to the silence in many places in China. Chinese fans cannot find a bar and restaurant to feel the emotional ups and downs brought by the stadium like foreign fans. They can only stay obediently watching football at home.

Especially in the four first-tier cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Beijing are deeply mired in the epidemic situation, and restaurants in Beijing have completely stopped internal use, and sports bars or restaurants that were very lively in previous World Cups have been forced to suspend operations.

What many fans saw in front of the screen was that none of the tens of thousands of spectators on the stage, as well as the lively spectators from various countries outside the stadium, was wearing masks. As they went to the stadium to watch the game, no one took out their mobile phones to scan the code.

A netizen wrote an article questioning that so many fans from all over the world flocked to Qatar to watch the football, and 32 teams are determined to win the championship. They do not wear masks, do not scan QR codes nor "pop up windows". Are they not afraid of the epidemic? Will the landlord country Qatar not focus on "external defense import"? After the fans return to China, do countries no longer perform "external defense import, internal defense rebound"?

The World Cup will be held for nearly one month, and this period may be the most stressful moment for the epidemic in CCP China. The liveliness in front of the screen and the silence surrounding the lockdown will continue to form a sharp contrast in the hearts of the Chinese people.

The Standing Committee of the Guangzhou CPPCC suggested that "novel coronavirus pneumonia" should be renamed "acute covi-flu"

广州政协常委建议:新冠肺炎改称“急性新冠感冒”

A few days ago, Cao Zhiwei, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou CPPCC, suggested to the National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China to change the name of "novel coronavirus pneumonia" to "acute covi-flu" on the grounds that "covi" (short for covid virus, CCP virus) reaches the throat, "not the lungs". Patients only need to rest at home and drink plenty of boiled water to recover but "acute covi-cold" was immediately censored by Weibo.

On 22 November 2022, Cao Zhiwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou CPPCC, published an article "Please Call It: Acute Covi-Flu" on his personal official account, which attracted attention.

Cao Zhiwei suggested to the website of the National Health Commission of the Communist Party of China to change the name of "novel coronavirus pneumonia" to "acute covi-flu" on the grounds that the covi "reaches the throat and does not reach the lungs"!

Cao Zhiwei stated in the article that the association between infection with the Omicron strain and the development of pneumonia has been greatly reduced. Judging from the one-month round of more than 82,000 infection cases in Guangzhou that began on 22 October 2022, 95% were asymptomatic. Even if there were symptoms, except for 2 concurrent cases, the rest were mild cold symptoms.

The article pointed out that doctors advise patients infected with Omicron to rest at home and drink plenty of boiled water to recover.

The Standing Committee of the Guangzhou CPPCC suggested that the novel coronavirus pneumonia be renamed "acute covi-flu" sparked heated discussions on the Internet but was immediately censored by Weibo, and related pictures were blocked.

Some netizens said, "I was moved and worried when I went door-to-door in the middle of the night. I really can't open it. I'm really afraid of being closed for a long time! Someone came up with a new name, acute covi-flu..."

Another netizen said: "I think it's good to treat covid as a cold flu or common pneumonia. It is not Ebola or Sara SARS."

Prior to this, after an outbreak at Foxconn in Zhengzhou caused a large number of employees to flee, the Zhengzhou Health Commission issued a document on 31 October 2022 saying, "The covid virus infection is a self-limiting disease, so don't panic too much." It is to reduce workers' panic about the epidemic.

On 3 November, the Hunan Provincial Health Commission also issued an expert interpretation saying that self-limiting diseases "can automatically stop after they develop to a certain extent, and then fully recover under the action of the autoimmune mechanism... nothing is needed special treatment". However, the article was deleted the next day.

The party media People's Daily Online stated that although covid is a self-limiting disease, it still needs timely isolation and observation and symptomatic treatment.

Dr. Lin Xiaoxu, a former virus researcher at the U.S. Army Research Institute, told NTDTV, "The so-called self-limiting disease, in fact, according to this definition, it means that you don't need to treat this disease, and you will recover after a period of time, so in fact It means that the current covid epidemic does not pose any real social health threat at all. So if you call covid a self-limiting disease, it actually means that your so-called extreme prevention and control are meaningless.”

Recently, the CCP officially issued 20 new epidemic prevention measures in an attempt to relax epidemic prevention and control. Zhang Wenhong, Zhang Boli and other experts have publicly stated that although Omicron is spreading rapidly, the rate of severe illness and fatality is already very low, and they support the new 20 measures.

However, after Shijiazhuang and other places canceled the nucleic acid test for all employees and relaxed control, the epidemic situation in CCP China has risen sharply again, and few deaths have been reported in Beijing and other places. Since 20 November 2022, all parts of China have once again upgraded their control, and many cities have been closed. Shijiazhuang has also restarted the blockade and nucleic acid tests for all employees.

"The Epoch Times" editor-in-chief Guo Jun analyzed in the "Pinnacle View" that Xi Jinping personally made the decision and commanded the dynamic clearing. Just make a big discount and shake his ruling foundation. Therefore, no matter how the virus and the epidemic change, the authorities' zero-covid policy will not change and will continue.

Chongqing man taken away by police for his anti-dynamic clearing speech was rescued by residents

The "dynamic clearing" of the CCP has triggered more and more resistance. A video uploaded online showed a man in Chongqing delivering an anti-dynamic clearing speech in a residential area, which aroused resonance among residents. Afterwards, the police tried to arrest him by force but he was rescued by residents.

On 24 November 2022, several videos that went viral on the Internet showed that at the epidemic prevention checkpoint of a community in Chongqing, a man with a backpack made a public "speech" criticizing the authorities' epidemic prevention policies. Residents watching continued to give positive responses, and some people called him a "big hero".

The video shows that the man suspected of having some kind of dispute with the epidemic prevention personnel, that attracted residents to watch and began to "speech". He complained that the closure and prosecution led to high vegetable prices, and that nucleic acid companies were profiting from the "clearing" and so on.

He said, "There is only one disease in the world, that is, lack of freedom and poverty.", "tossing”, because the government knows that it is wrong but is unwilling to admit it, because once it admits it, it must bear the corresponding responsibility.

He also mentioned that the streets of Hong Kong are already full of traffic, and the World Cup is crowded with people. Several stars have been infected with the virus and are still alive and well. He also asked the audience if they would like to go out of the community to play a game of basketball, to cure this "little cold" and so on.

The follow-up video showed that after the "speech", multiple police officers controlled the man on the side of the road and tried to stuff him into a police car. Onlookers shouted "don't use violence" and "don't be impulsive". The crowd got bigger and bigger. While resisting, the man shouted "help me" to the residents. Several residents stepped forward to rescue him, snatched the man from the hands of the police and rushed away, the crowd cheered triumphantly.

When the video was posted online, netizens praised the bravery of the man and the community residents. However, some netizens are worried that this man may not escape the fate of being caught because the CCP government has never had a "tradition" of admitting defeat to the people.

In the early hours of 22 November, residents of the Lizhiyuan Community in Shapingba District, Chongqing stopped "covi-positive people" who were about to be taken away for isolation, and broadcast live to conduct antigen tests for the two. The results were all covi-negative, so the two were not taken away. . This matter once detonated public opinion but during the day, the authorities "dispelled the rumours" and said that there were "no false positives" in the Lizhiyuan community, and two covi-positive people had been taken away for centralized isolation.

Xinjiang workers are also rumoured to have escaped on foot. The people resent the police: "Shoot!"

After Foxconn in Zhengzhou, Xinjiang, which was closed for more than three months, also saw a large army returning home on foot. There are videos showing that people gathered on the road to punch cards and shouted "shoot!" to the police, and the armed police hid behind the car.

Recently, a large number of images have been uploaded on social media in mainland China, showing a long procession of pedestrians on the road next door to Xinjiang. People carry their luggage and walk along the road on foot, and the team cannot see the end at a glance. Netizens who took the video are worried, will they be able to get out of Xinjiang's Great Gobi? Will he be able to return to his hometown in the mainland smoothly?

There are also videos showing that heavy snow has fallen in some areas of Xinjiang, and people are still dragging their luggage on the snow-covered roads. Some mainland netizens are worried, will someone freeze to death and starve to death during the long journey?

There is also a video showing a team returning home on foot, which was broadcast live on the Internet, led by several young men, shouting loudly while rushing through the police epidemic prevention checkpoint on the road. The man in the lead shouted "we just want to go home" and "we didn't break the law". Some people shouted at the police: "Shoot!" The police just stopped him symbolically, and a policeman with a gun swung his gun over his shoulder and hid behind the car.

The card punchers in the video did not carry luggage, and some did not wear coats. It is suspected that they are only local people in Xinjiang.

Mainlanders trapped in Xinjiang also began to return home on foot. The pedestrian procession on the Gobi Desert Highway is endless. This is one of the teams forcibly punching the card and shouting "shoot". Many places in Xinjiang, including the capital Urumqi, have been closed since August. Authorities also ordered the closure of traffic in and out of Xinjiang. Many mainlanders who went to Xinjiang for work or tourism were trapped.

Xinjiang is already well-known for the CCP’s brutal persecution of ethnic minorities. The long-term lockdown of the city has aggravated the local humanitarian crisis. A large number of people died of starvation, died of illness due to delayed treatment, or committed suicide in despair. Compared with the locals, the situation of the trapped non-locals is more difficult.

Report: Daily protests in China

A few days ago, a report released by the human rights organization "Freedom House" recorded 668 protests in China in the third quarter, and at least 25% of the protests were suppressed by the CCP. . But the Chinese are protesting every day, posing a challenge to the Chinese regime.

"I want a house, I want a house, I want a house..."

Since 2022, the suspension of real estate and unfinished real estate problems in various parts of China have intensified, and incidents of collective rights protection by owners of unfinished real estate have emerged one after another.

In the past three years of the epidemic, the CCP has insisted on "dynamic clearing", and the extreme epidemic control and isolation measures in various places have led to various resistance actions blooming all over China.

In mid-November, Freedom House, a Washington-based think tank, released the report "Monitoring China's Dissent." Through databases and research tools that track the frequency and diversity of dissent in China, it was found that protests are happening every day across China.

The report records 668 protests that occurred between June and September, 214 involved unfinished building projects, 110 involved wage arrears and benefits, 106 involved fraud; and 37 were against the epidemic. A total of nearly 9,000 people participated in the protest. But at least 25 percent of protests were suppressed. 37 cases that resulted in some kind of concession by the government or business.

For example, since the end of June, owners of unfinished buildings in China have collectively stopped supplying buildings. In July, the CCP made a "concession" and asked banks to perform their duties to resume work on unfinished buildings that had been suspended and promote "guaranteed delivery of buildings." However, many unfinished buildings have at least no hope of returning to work, and the owners' rights protection has been severely suppressed.

The actions of people everywhere to resist the blockade have also been suppressed. For example, in the evening of 14 November, a large-scale public protest broke out in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, and the CCP dispatched a large number of police forces to suppress it; Zhengzhou University resisted the blockade on 16 November, and news on 17 November revealed that the school was punishing the leading students.

Kevin Slaten, director of the China Dissent Monitor Project, said that while the CCP has been working hard to suppress organized protests, the Chinese continue to speak out both offline and online. "China Dissent Monitor has documented hundreds of offline protests. incidents and some large incidents of online dissent."

Epoch Times columnist Wang He pointed out that due to the CCP's information blockade and censorship, the information collected by Freedom House is far from representative of the real situation of the entire Chinese society.

Epoch Times columnist Wang He: "When China has formed a strict Internet blockade, it can collect these data, which shows from one aspect that the whole of China is under the high-handed control of the CCP, that are running underground like ground fire, and sometimes it will erupt. It can be said that every day is not about one or two problems, but hundreds or thousands of problems a day, but these news are quickly disseminated by the CCP. It was killed."

According to the official statistics of the CCP, there were more than 100,000 mass incidents in 2007. Since 2008, the CCP no longer publishes relevant data. Lu Yuyu, the founder of "Not News", collected more than 29,000 large-scale civil protests in China within a year. In 2016, he was arrested and sentenced to four years in prison by the CCP for "picking quarrels and provoking troubles".

In March 2016, Voice of America quoted data saying that there are 180,000 environmental incidents in China every year, with an average of 500 incidents per day. According to Radio Free Asia, based on the annual growth rate of 26,000, the number of mass incidents in 2020 should exceed 260,000. An average of 730 incidents occur each day.

While the number of protests in China has skyrocketed, the CCP has invested more money in maintaining stability than military spending, and as a result, more and more social problems have accumulated.

Wang He: "Judging from the dissenting incidents collected by Freedom House, it means that the distribution of public grievances is very wide. Things like unfinished buildings, the epidemic, and wages, etc., show the current living conditions of the Chinese people. It is quite difficult. The conflict between the people and the government is very intense, and as the CCP continues to turn to the left, as the dynamic clearing of all aspects is strictly controlled, severely blocked, and severely suppressed, this situation will become more acute."

Wang He said that at present, the contradictions in the entire Chinese society are developing towards the direction of universalization, and the contradictions between the government and the people have reached the point where there is only one fuse to ignite. The whole society is like sitting on the crater of a volcano, and this party is running faster on the road to extinction.

Chongqing built square cabin hospital, pulled covi-negative persons into quarantine, sparking public indignation

Reporters : Chen Jie, Li Shanshan, and Huang Yuning / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/11/24/a103582431.html

Chongqing recently built a square cabin hospital to deal with the epidemic. It was reported that some so-called "covi-positive people" were forcibly quarantined, but these people were tested covi-negative by nucleic acid tests, causing public outrage.

Online video: "The test came out, negative negative, positive turned negative."

Online video shows that on 22 November, the Lizhiyuan community in Shapingba District, Chongqing, forcibly pulled "covi-positive people" into isolation. The test results were all covi-negative.

Mr. Ning, a citizen of Chongqing: "Many neighbours have united. Once a covi-positive patient is found, they will ask for identification. Now the people in Chongqing are very angry, almost reaching the peak of the outbreak. Many people have refused to do nucleic acid test."

Mr. Ning, a citizen of Chongqing, said that he had a similar experience and he did not believe the so-called test report.

Mr. Ning: "He (the street) called me last night... and came to my door for a nucleic acid test. I became a red code. I argued how it was possible for me, and then turned me into a yellow code. On the street at the first level, the code can be changed, and covi-positive and -negative reports can be released, I don’t believe it even more.”

The CCP authorities recently ordered to "vigorously promote the construction of shelters." Mr. Ning questioned that Chongqing is subsidizing the construction of shelters for epidemic prevention, and lower-level units are desperately trying to lure people into shelters for their own interests.

Mr. Ning: "After the 12,000 people in Yuelai's shelter were full, they built another shelter for more than 26,000 people in Yinglong, Banan District, and then built another shelter for 16,000 people in Cuntan. With so many more people’s cabins, he needs people to live in. Then I think it is doubtful whether there will be collusion of interests in the streets below, and whether there will be messes and send many innocent people there.”

Sun Chunlan, Vice Premier of the State Council of the Communist Party of China, went to Chongqing to guide the prevention and control of the epidemic a few days ago, and also requested to speed up the construction of square cabin hospitals.

Mr. Yu, a citizen of Chongqing: "They don't talk about science at all. They only talk about administrative means and their own power. This is determined by the regime and its nature. If they don't obey, they will be suppressed."

A screenshot of a group chat was widely circulated on the Internet a few days ago. The whistleblower said that each quarantined person in the cabin received a government subsidy of 3,500 RMB. Now there are "sheep passengers" who hire people to go to the cabin in Chongqing North Railway Station. They only need to stay for 5 days. Give 500 RMB as a reward.

Clear or unblock? Epidemic prevention policies are chaotic and the CCP is stuck

Reporters : Ruili, Zhang Danxia / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2022/11/24/a103582777.html

Ten days after the CCP promulgated the "Twenty Measures for Optimizing Epidemic Prevention", various places are vacillating between relaxing control and insisting on eradicating, and chaos is frequent. Let's see the expert interpretation.

On 23 November, the CCP’s official media, Xinhua News Agency, used the title “Unwavering and Unshapeable” on a key page, emphasizing that the 20 optimization measures have been announced for more than ten days, and the State Council also issued 4 technical documents, requiring localities to implement them as soon as possible. It also reiterated that all localities should strengthen the rectification of "layer-by-layer problems", including random closure of schools and classes, suspension of work and production, random adoption of silent management, random closure and control, and prolonged closure.

On the day when the document was issued, many provinces and cities in China were continuously upgrading their containment measures.

Beijing reported that an 87-year-old woman was diagnosed with mild covid on 18 November, and later died of cardiac insufficiency and other diseases caused by "atrial fibrillation".

This is the new confirmed death case in Beijing.

Last week, Beijing reported three deaths, aged 87, 88 and 91.

Current affairs commentator Tang Jingyuan: "The official continuous reporting of deaths from the epidemic, and all of them are elderly people, have their political motives. The purpose is to find legitimacy for continuing to maintain the strict zero-covid policy."

At the same time, the number of new covid cases in Beijing has skyrocketed day after day, continuing into the thousands. According to the authorities, the square cabins for mild patients in Beijing New International Exhibition Center have been put into use.

Residents of the city are asked not to leave Beijing unless necessary. Various communities issued "emergency notices" one after another, requiring residents to "only enter and not exit".

The bustling streets in the past were deserted, Wangfujing Street and the Capital Airport in Beijing were deserted, shops were forced to close, and there was depression everywhere.

Beijing citizen: "Oh, there are so many tourists, the Forbidden City, it's great, oh, it's so lively!"

Beijing citizen: "There is no covi-positive case in my community. The comrades in the community also sealed the door after they came, saying that they received a document (document) from the CDC of Chaoyang District, Beijing. Now it is tantamount to saying that locking us up as free citizens."

Beijing citizen: "Even if he has money every day and stays at home, that's not life for him, he's just lingering on his last legs."

Li Bochun, a Beijing resident: "Objectively speaking, it used to be called COVID-19, but now it doesn't even have symptoms, many of which are mild, and it doesn't even have symptoms of pneumonia. It should be repositioned and defined.”

On the one hand, the CCP vigorously promotes the "Twenty Optimization Measures", on the other hand, it has upgraded the control, and the death cases have been reported one after another, and the new cases are also approaching record highs.

These "differing" policies and information have left many people confused. Analysts believe that this actually reflects the infighting between the two lines within the party.

Tang Jingyuan: "The previous official propaganda was justified. The main reason is that after the liberalization, a large number of elderly people with insufficient vaccination rates will be infected and die. Now that the elderly deaths are continuously reported, and they are reported in Beijing, the signal is that the risk of the epidemic is increasing. Big, zero can not be relaxed. Therefore, in the future, the mainland's epidemic control may turn to be stricter."

In addition, the Haizhu District of Guangzhou has extended the closure period for the sixth time. The number of cases in Chongqing increased sharply, and Zhengzhou, Henan, required traffic control for 5 days after the outbreak of protests against Foxconn.

Chongqing man: "There is only one disease in this world, it is 'unfreedom' and 'poverty', we have all of them now, and we are still struggling with a small cold, why I tell you the most direct reason, because the city government is already wrong, they can only continue to be wrong!"

Recently, a Chongqing man confronted security guards because he couldn't stand the long-term lockdown, and was well received by the public.

People in Chongqing: "You are a great hero, you are a great hero."

Then the man continued to say that everyone should not be "beaten by the epidemic", that attracted the police to forcibly arrest the man. Fortunately, he was rescued by the neighbours.

Gingrich: New Special Counsel on Trump Case Is a 'Left Witch Hunt'

金里奇:新任川普案件特别顾问是“左翼猎巫打手”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said the newly appointed special counsel to oversee investigations into cases related to former President Donald Trump (Trump) , is a "left-wing thug" who pursues a "witch hunt".

After Trump formally announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidency, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Jack Smith to lead two investigations: one involving Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate and another related to so-called "interference" in the process of power transfer and ballot verification after the 2020 presidential election.

It is reported that Smith is a registered independent person and a veteran federal prosecutor, most recently serving as the chief prosecutor of the special court in The Hague.

Although some supporters applauded Smith's appointment and believed that he had been engaged in anti-corruption work for a long time, Gingrich, a contributor to The Epoch Times, was not optimistic about the move.

"This guy (Smith) is not an independent consultant," he said in an interview. "He's a left-wing thug." He described Garland's choice as "shameless."

"I think the Justice Department figured it out, and when Trump announced his candidacy for president, they realized they couldn't just continue the normal process because they've been avoiding prosecuting the candidate," he said.

"But what they're doing is ridiculous," he added. "Most Americans will quickly figure out that this is yet another example of the kind of witch hunt that's been going on for the entire Trump campaign, since 2015."

After Garland's appointment was announced, the White House denied it had prior knowledge, saying the Justice Department "independently makes decisions" about its criminal investigation.

While Smith promised in a statement that the investigation would be conducted "independently and in accordance with the best traditions of the Justice Department," Gingrich was skeptical, citing Smith's record during the Obama administration.

During his five-year tenure as director of the Justice Department's Public Integrity Unit starting in 2010, Smith oversaw the indictment and conviction of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell, a Republican, for bribery and racketeering. The Supreme Court later unanimously overturned the conviction, ruling that the government's "excessive interpretation of federal bribery laws" was unconstitutional.

Gingrich noted that Smith's impartiality has been called into question, citing his personal experience with the IRS scandal, in which the House Oversight Committee found in 2014 that Smith was responsible for arranging a meeting with an IRS official to review the nonprofit's political activity. The meeting would launch an IRS campaign against Tea Party groups, but the agency later issued a public apology and the Justice Department settled two lawsuits for $3.5 million.

Selective prosecution
Gingrich also noted that Democratic politicians, such as former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server for government business and the use of the president's son Hunter Biden abroad, have not been subject to similar investigations. business deal.

"I think it's weird that they can find more excuses to use against Donald Trump even though he's been proven innocent over and over again, but neither Hillary Clinton nor Hunter Biden got an independent advisor (Smith) Concerned, it shows how corrupt the system is," Gingrich said.

Rep. James Comer, the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said Republicans on the committee found that Hunter brokered nearly all of the Biden family's business dealings in more than 50 countries, including Russia and China. Biden Sr. was aware of and involved in some of the deals.

Hunter's former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, welcomed the Republican plan to investigate the Biden family's business operations.

Trump's reaction
Gingrich was at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate when special counsel Smith was appointed. He said Trump looked "very balanced" and "positive and cheerful."

"He knows what they're doing. He's been through the investigation for six years," he said.

"When Congress turns over next year, the House is going to be Republican," Gingrich said. "They're going to start investigating Hunter Biden more than Donald Trump, and I think a lot of Republicans feel like this whole thing is a witch hunt."

"They (Democrats) attacked him (Trump) for the Russia hoax, the Ukraine call, and you look down. It's amazing how many of the things they attacked him turned out not to be true." Gingrich said.

The Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment by press time.

U.S. FBI investigates CCP Overseas Police Stations

FBI Director Christopher Wray issued a statement at a hearing on "threats to the security of the United States and its sovereignty". The FBI is studying the relevant legal issues. At the same time, McCarthy, the leader of the Republican House of Representatives, said that if he is elected speaker of the House of Representatives, he will form a special committee on China issues and close these overseas police stations of the CCP.

Christopher Wray, director of the FBI, said recently that the United States is deeply concerned about the establishment of unauthorized "police stations" in New York by the CCP government-in-question.

Reuters reported that the FBI director said during a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security Committee on 17 November that China's actions did not meet the standard judicial and law enforcement cooperation process but he declined to elaborate on the FBI's position on this issue of investigative work.

Wu Zuolai, a scholar in the United States: "Because this involves sovereignty, you are an agency of the government, and you are an agent of the government. When you come here, you use the police, the power of the quasi-police, and even the power of the judiciary. This is It must go through the United States, go through the record or authorization of the government of the relevant country, but they don’t have it, and now the Communist Party is very blatantly expanding its power.”

According to a report released in September by the human rights organization Safeguard Defenders, the CCP has set up 54 overseas police service stations around the world, including one in New York and three in Toronto.

Wu Zuolai: "The CCP is already doing some pilot projects, that is, setting up some so-called convenience institutions overseas, which are convenient for overseas Chinese. This is between the official embassy and some chambers of commerce, Chinese chambers of commerce or fellow countrymen's associations. It seems to be It is providing some services for Chinese overseas Chinese, in fact, as long as they have an official background, or secretly contact with the official, they are actually controlled by the CCP, and it is also a very new type of bridgehead for them.”

It is understood that these sites are channels for Beijing to exert pressure on some Chinese citizens or their overseas relatives. They are also responsible for spreading influence overseas for the CCP government and implementing the so-called "Operation Fox Hunt".

A large-scale protest broke out at Foxconn in Zhengzhou on 22 November, and factory workers and police fought fiercely for days. CCP media said that the official has promised to release him and pay severance pay. In the evening of 24 November, it is said that the quarantined personnel who have not yet entered the factory also began to protest and clashed with the police.

In the evening of 24 November 2022, a video posted on the Internet showed that thousands of people gathered in front of a government building to protest, and tried to rush into the building at one point, but were dispersed by the police with pepper spray, and some people were arrested. Among the protesting crowd, some shouted, "The police have killed someone," "Why didn't the black intermediary arrest him?" and so on.

It was reported on the Internet that the incident happened in Zhengzhou. The protesters were newly recruited workers from Foxconn. They are still in hotel quarantine and have not officially entered the factory. It is rumoured that they also asked for 10,000 RMB severance pay as the factory employees, but the official only gave 2,400 RMB, which they questioned as unfair.

According to online sources, there are also quarantined people from Jiaozuo, Henan Province who were only paid 960 RMB in severance pay, and they are also protesting.

After Foxconn employees fled, Henan authorities and intermediaries from other provinces recruited Foxconn workers for days, promising "safety and epidemic prevention" and high salaries. But when the workers arrived in Zhengzhou, they found out that they had been cheated. On the 22nd, a large-scale protest involving tens of thousands of people broke out and was suppressed by the authorities. Many people were injured or arrested. A large number of videos of the police and Dabai beating workers were once popular on the mainland network, but they have been blocked now.

According to Lu media reports, the government has promised to let people go home and compensate new employees who choose to resign and return to their hometowns with 10,000 RMB. Pay another 2,000 RMB within an hour.

Lu media said that the 10,000 RMB severance package came from Foxconn. However, a Foxconn employee claimed in a live broadcast that the money was allocated by the CCP, and the live broadcast was subsequently blocked.

According to reports from Chinese media, the struggle at the Foxconn factory seems to have come to an end. Videos posted on the Internet also showed that the protesting employees were boarding cars and returning to their hometowns one after another. However, it is reported that returnees will also be forced to self-isolate at their own expense. Many netizens are also worried whether these protesting workers will be "accounted for after autumn" by the CCP.
