北京民政局罕有不公布第四季度殡葬数据

The outbreak of the epidemic in China continues, and there are signs that the authorities are suspected of covering up the huge number of deaths from the epidemic. The Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau did not release data on funeral and cremation remains in the fourth quarter as never before, sparking speculation among netizens.

The Epoch Times inquired on the official website of the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau on 21 January 2023 and found that in the statistical quarterly report of the government affairs disclosure, only the fourth quarter did not list funeral service data (including the number of cremated remains).

In the previous third quarter, there were 85,000 cremated remains, 57,000 in the second quarter, and 28,000 in the first quarter.

Some netizens posted relevant screenshots on Twitter questioning this situation.

Some netizens said, "Every quarter has the number of cremated remains, but by the fourth quarter of 2022, the number of cremated remains will disappear. It's so funny!"

Since the beginning of December 2022, the CCP suddenly released the epidemic prevention without warning, and the epidemic broke out in mainland China. The tragic situation is shocking. Funeral homes all over the country have reported that cremation furnaces are operating day and night, and that the dead cannot be burned. Among them, Beijing bears the brunt.

In December 2022, Guan Yao, who lived in California, disclosed that five of his relatives in Beijing had left, including his father-in-law, father, wife's uncle, a relative's grandmother, and his dearest grandmother.

Sister Mai, a popular blogger in Literature City, published a mourning article for her father on 2 January 2023, mentioning that after her father, who had been hospitalized in Beijing, died of the epidemic, cremation was scheduled for the first seven days (the seventh day after death). Sister Mai wrote in an article on 28 December 2022, "But Dad is still lucky. I heard from Dad's nurse that a patient passed away a few days ago, and he couldn't find a funeral home that could accept it. The body was in the family car."

"The hospital where Dad lives has lost eight people in the past two weeks. This is a branch of a large hospital. The inpatient department only has a small three-story building. The doctor said that he has never lost patients so densely..."

On 2 January 2023, two videos circulated on the Internet showed that Beijing Miyun was stepping up the construction of simple incinerators. The staff of the Miyun District Civil Affairs Bureau confirmed to The Epoch Times that the stove was indeed being “requisitioned.”

According to satellite images taken by Maxar Technologies of the United States on 24 December 2022, a funeral home in Tongzhou, Beijing seems to have built a new parking lot during that time; On or after the 22nd, in less than 2 days, the funeral home parked more than 100 cars at once.

The CCP has been questioned for seriously concealing the death toll from the epidemic. A number of foreign media revealed that the authorities secretly asked the hospital to avoid writing the death caused by the new crown in the cause of death column. If the deceased had an underlying disease, it would be listed as the main cause of death. The Epoch Times also confirmed this matter to multiple insiders.

In an interview with The Epoch Times on 16 January, Zhao Yang, who once worked as an attending physician in the Department of Respiratory Medicine at a tertiary hospital in Beijing, said that the epidemic information provided by the CCP government is basically for reference only, and in fact may not even be of "reference" value.

Zhao Yang has been practicing medicine for more than ten years, and he has also issued many death certificates in the hospital. He never imagined that one day the funeral industry would be "very busy". According to Zhao Yang's more than ten years of work experience in Beijing Hospital, there has never been a "grand occasion" where the deceased had to queue up to send the funeral to the funeral home, and relatives fortified red envelopes to cremate the remains. He said, "I have never seen a situation where a funeral home can't put a corpse, and they all deal with it within 30 minutes."

Many observers believe that the death toll in Beijing, including in China as a whole, may exceed people's imagination.

Since December 2022, the tsunami of the epidemic has swept across CCP China, and hundreds of millions of people have been infected.

Recently, funeral homes in many provinces and cities have invited bids for the purchase and installation of cremation furnaces through government websites. According to incomplete statistics, since January, there have been 37 tenders related to cremation furnaces.

Shandong Hangtai Company beat out eight competitors at the end of December last year to win a 23 million yuan tender to supply eight cremation furnaces for a funeral home in Guangzhou.

The funeral home in Shantou, Guangdong, announced on the Internet that "emergency purchase of two cremation furnaces". The government website issued a tender letter on 6 January 2023, requiring "delivery within three days after the signing of the contract, and completion of installation and ignition for use within ten days." The bidding budget is 2.824 million RMB.

Epoch Times columnist Wang He: "This large-scale procurement and expansion project has been in an endless stream, and it is spread in many places across the country because it corresponds to a new wave of epidemics. From one side, we can reasonably speculate that in CCP China massive deaths have occurred. Too many dead bodies have accumulated, and the existing cremation capacity can no longer satisfy."

However, CCP authorities continue to cover up the outbreak. China CDC announced on 21 January 2023 that from 13 to 19 January 2023, a total of 12,658 hospital-acquired deaths nationwide is recorded. There were just under 60,000 deaths in the previous 36 days.

According to the 2020 statistics of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the Communist Party of China, there are 6,619 cremation furnaces across the country. According to the figures released by the CCP, if less than 13,000 people die from the epidemic within a week, then each cremator will incinerate less than two people per week on average. Civil society and the international community have widely questioned the CCP's official figures.

Netizens said: "Do you think I will believe it?" "If you add two zeros, I think the number is too small." "It is not allowed to write about the covid death."

Some netizens also disclosed the recent deaths from the epidemic. "My great aunt left on the 29th of the twelfth lunar month, and the queue for cremation lasted until the fifth day of the lunar new year." "Hundreds of old people died in the small town of my hometown, and two more died the night before yesterday." "In our village, 11 people died in the previous wave."

Epoch Times columnist Wang He said that the Epoch Times has announced that the epidemic has killed 400 million people in three years. So far, the Chinese Communist Party has not given any official justification.

Wang He: "What does it mean? It (the CCP) is vain in its own heart. It has actually mastered this data. It is only at the highest level that it is strictly controlled."
