Mainland China recently announced a new version of a map of China, but it has caused further tension in relations with neighbouring countries. In the South China Sea, the new map caused protests from many countries in Southeast Asia, while in the western region, it caused dissatisfaction in India. In fact, these territorial disputes between China and neighboring countries have existed for a long time, but under the increasingly rigid decision-making mechanism of the CCP, what kind of changes will happen to these long-standing disputes under the situation of a full-scale conflict between the United States and China in the future?

News (2)

After the Chinese Communist Party's strength has increased, its attitude towards the South China Sea issue has become more and more tough

Heng He, an expert on China issues, said in NTDTV's "Pinnacle View" program that the disputes in the South China Sea are mainly about the nine-dash line. A line (11 paragraphs) was drawn. Later, after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) came to power, it fully accepted this line. In 1953, the CCP removed the two lines on the Beibu Gulf and turned it into a nine-dash line, which is similar to Vietnam. There is no need to argue because Vietnam was a communist country at that time, so CCP will not argue with VCP.

The CCP been saying that the South China Sea is China's inherent territory, which means that China has claimed it long ago, and the countries have never objected. So what is the problem? The problem is that this coastal area is controversial, that is, the nine-dash line is basically drawn at the doorstep of neighbouring countries. These countries were all established after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. For a long time, these countries were colonies of Japan or Western countries. ,During the colonial period, these countries actually did not have their own sovereignty, and they would not claim sovereignty. It was only after the end of World War II that these countries were gradually established. When they were first established, they did not care about these things at all. It was not until the 1970s that resources gradually began to be discovered in the South China Sea, and then the international law of the sea began to be established. Many countries suddenly I found that there is still such a line at our door. So everyone began to claim that these lines entered their exclusive economic zone. The exclusive economic zone is 200 nautical miles. There are often very large overlaps in the exclusive economic zones, and there are also many disputes in the law of the sea. Because the law of the sea is the law about territorial disputes, now that there is international law, everyone decides to use international law to deal with. In 2016, the Philippines went to the International Tribunal for the Sea to sue mainland China. The Tribunal ruled that the CCP’s claims to sovereignty over these islands and territorial waters in the South China Sea have no legal basis. Of course, the CCP does not recognize this ruling.

In fact, there have been several wars in the South China Sea. China and Vietnam fought two wars in the Xisha and Nansha regions. The first war was with South Vietnam, probably in 1974, and later with the unified North Vietnamese regime in 1988. These are fights between the two communist brothers.

There are several key points for these countries now. One is that around November 2002, ten ASEAN countries and China signed the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea. This was a milestone and meant that everyone could sit down and talk. Because the strength of the CCP was not that great at that time, so there was this declaration. Now these years, because the CCP’s strength has increased, there have been more and more conflicts with neighbouring countries, and the surrounding countries have become more and more worried about the CCP. Now the CCP claims that the South China Sea is its territory and increasingly regards it as its own inland sea. The United States has always insisted on free navigation because 1/3 of the world's seaborne goods use this route every year, including Japan. 80% to 90% of energy imports, including South Korea, are based on this line, so what are people worrying about now? Once the sovereignty claimed by CCP China is truly realized, it will be equivalent to strangling all the countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia. That is to say, if it is not regarded as high seas, then all countries will suffer, which means that this lifeline will be blocked. Therefore, everyone is very worried about this matter. This is why the South China Sea dispute is now becoming more and more international, because it not only involves Asian issues, but is actually an issue of international trade lines, that is, the issue of free navigation.

Shi Shan, senior editor and chief writer of The Epoch Times, said in the "Pinnacle View" that the United States has always emphasized the issue of the South China Sea. The United States is a relevant stakeholder because its cargo ships pass here and a large amount of its trade passes here. If this becomes the inland sea of China, what about their cargo ships? Moreover, the U.S. Seventh Fleet is in the Asia-Pacific region, and the Fifth Fleet is in the Indian Ocean. It must pass through this place, so for the United States, it is not just a trade issue.

When it comes to the issue of sea rights, there are actually many, many disputes. Basically, the sea rights claimed by land-power countries are different from the sea rights claimed by sea-power countries. Sea-power countries are the traditional maritime powers, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Powerful countries like the Netherlands emphasize that a certain distance offshore has nothing to do with you. For example, 12 nautical miles is your territorial waters, and then 200 nautical miles is your exclusive economic zone. The rest has nothing to do with you. However, land power countries do not see it this way, because their ships cannot do it, but their armies can. They say that the continental shelf extends. The earliest dispute was called the continental shelf. They say that the Chinese land extends to the bottom of the sea. Although it reaches the bottom of the sea, the bottom of the sea is an extension of China, so this place is still mine. So they would quarrel a lot with each other. But this continental shelf is very complicated. China's continental shelf can extend 1,000 km, which is very difficult to say. Of course, the final international maritime convention was formulated based on the views of sea power countries, and China also agreed to sign it. Another problem is that you can own an island, but you cannot say that this large sea is yours just because of the island, so the entire dispute lies in this place.

Southeast Asian countries have come out to protest, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. These are the most important countries in Southeast Asia, with the strongest economies and the largest populations. They can dominate the direction of the entire ASEAN group, especially Malaysia, that is the most important country that the CCP has always wanted to have a good relationship with ASEAN.

Shi Shan said that there is an old saying in international politics that when the forces are equal, diplomacy is strength. When there is a great disparity in strength, strength is diplomacy. Now the CCP has made it very clear that when it is most needed to show its diplomatic skills, the CCP’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has to use war. The wolf's way of expressing attitude is very problematic.

The CCP’s betrayal of the country is unprecedented in history, sending the country to the country and the country

Independent TV producer Li Jun said in the "Pinnacle View" that in 2016, at a conference commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sun Yat-sen, Xi Jinping made a very famous six-point statement that would never allow anyone, any organization, or any Political parties, at any time, in any form,  cede any piece of China's territory. Of course, I think what Xi Jinping said is quite embarrassing, because historically speaking, the territory given up by the CCP after its establishment should be the largest in history. For example, Russia occupied three to four million square km of territory, and Deng Xiaoping did not admit it, but Jiang Zemin signed a Sino-Russian border agreement in 1999, and the three to four million square km of land belonged to Russia. Yuan Shikai did not recognize the independence of Outer Mongolia, nor did Chiang Kai-shek. In the end, Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai recognized it, so the CCP actually ceded a lot of large territory. Most people do not necessarily know about small territories, like Changbai Mountain, Kim Il Sung and Mao Zedong want Changbai Mountain, what's the reason? He said that North Korean soldiers have been fighting guerrilla warfare in Changbai Mountain for a long time and have developed feelings, so can China give North Korea this Changbai Mountain? In the end, Mao Zedong really gave him half, and gave it to Kim Il Sung. I just thought, if you want territory, you can also ask for it emotionally. What if the Japanese want the three northeastern provinces? I have been in the three northeastern provinces for so many years, and I also have feelings. There is also an island in the Beibu Gulf called Baiweilong Island. In fact, that island is not big, but its impact on the entire Chinese fishery in the Beibu Gulf and the South China Sea is still quite large. This island was allocated to Vietnam. Why can you give it? Because it is the little brother of the Communist Party, this is revolutionary diplomacy, so at that time the CCP gave up a lot of territory to its little brothers, including the transfer of Jiangxinpo and Nankan to Myanmar. The CCP has demarcated so much territory, but you, Xi Jinping, will never allow one or six. To be honest, I think the CCP is slapping itself in the face.

The system is rigid and Xi Jinping’s Wolf Warrior diplomacy is in dire straits

Yokogawa said in the "Pinnacle View" that in addition to the speech of "Six Absolutes", Xi Jinping actually has a series of tough statements in this regard, because Xi Jinping is basically in control of everything now, so the people below actually have no room for professional adjustment, and each department’s own maneuverability and scope of power are very small, so everyone does not know where the scale is, so they rush to express their stance, getting tougher and tougher, and the more they can express themselves. The tougher you are, the more you can show that you can listen to Xi Jinping. When it goes too far, it is a bit like high-level black and low-level red. Even you don’t know whether it is true or false, and you don’t know whether it is true or false. Is he helping Xi Jinping, or is he trying to dismantle Xi Jinping? So the current situation in CCP China and China's policy are indeed very delicate.

Xi Jinping has a basic idea, that is, even if China wants to have a good relationship with other countries, whether it is with the United States or ASEAN countries, the good relationship should be on the Chinese Communist's terms, and other countries must make concessions. So if you look at the current economic difficulties, what can actually save China's economy is not domestic consumption, because domestic consumption cannot rise. In the past 30 years, it has also relied on the United States. So in fact, if the real economy is to rise, it will still have to rely on the United States, but look at the conditions that Xi Jinping put forward when the U.S. Secretary of Commerce visited CCP China this time. In fact, he said that everything is caused by you, the United States. If you want us to cooperate with you, then you must first admit your mistakes, and you must first give in.

So the same is true internationally. That is to say, although China wants to have good relations with these countries, Xi Jinping keeps issuing new instructions. The direction of this instruction is still very tough and there is no room for retreat, so he must both maintain good relations with these countries, but both sides must also adhere to the principle of offensiveness, that is, we must make others give in. It does not mean that under the current conditions, we draw a line and everyone freezes it. That is Deng Xiaoping's approach. The approach assigned by Xi Jinping is that if he takes a step forward, you must take a step back. Therefore, in this case, apart from Wolf Warrior diplomacy, the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs actually has no other choice.

Guo Jun, editor-in-chief of The Epoch Times, said in the "Pinnacle View" that there are two main reasons why the Chinese Communist Party's Ministry of Foreign Affairs insists on a tough stance and cannot engage in dialogue in a softer way. The first is the lack of flexibility in top decision-making. This has been seen in many fields in recent years, such as the three-year reset, such as economic policy. When Xi Jinping sets a tone, the following cannot object, cannot put forward different opinions and insights can only be implemented rigidly. After Xi Jinping's six absolute words, the flexibility of the Chinese Communist Party's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has disappeared. It can only be tough and adopt foreign war wolf diplomacy. The second reason is that the CCP really believes that it has strong uncompromising strength. Everyone knows that the most important point in "The Art of War" is to know oneself and the enemy. This seems easy to say, but in fact it is very difficult to do.

The most difficult thing is to know oneself rather than the enemy. For example, I know myself, myself, my weaknesses and shortcomings, What you are good at and what you are not good at is relatively difficult. Only after you have experienced ups and downs in life for a long time can you understand yourself more clearly. This is how to be a human being, and even more so when managing a company or a country. The biggest problem with an autocratic system is that its leader cannot be questioned. Over time, this leader’s understanding of the world and his understanding of himself will definitely have deviations in his understanding. When Yuan Shikai became emperor, he felt ashamed and died in the end. So the phenomena we are seeing now are the result of deviations, and this deviation will definitely be reflected in all aspects and in all fields appear, and we are actually witnessing this.

The new version of the map is controversial. The CCP’s attempt to win over neighbouring countries may fail

Editor : Shang Yan / Interview : Luo Ya / https://www.ntdtv.com/gb/2023/09/01/a103777550.html

The CCP released a new version of the map that included Taiwan, the South China Sea Islands, and areas where China and India have territorial disputes into China’s territory, triggering protests in Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In addition, it also had a negative impact on Xi Jinping's participation in the G20 summit held in India in September. However, there is news that Xi Jinping will be absent from the summit, and scholars believe that this may lead to further isolation of the CCP internationally.

On 28 August 2023, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Communist Party of China released the "2023 Standard Map", claiming that "it cannot be wrong at all." The new map changes the "nine-dash line" in the South China Sea to a "ten-dash line," and includes about 90% of the South China Sea into China's territory.

Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Taiwan all claim partial sovereignty over the South China Sea, so they have strongly protested against the CCP’s new map, expressing their disapproval of the CCP’s unilateral division.

In addition, India took the lead in protesting against the CCP on Tuesday (August 29) because the new map included the disputed provinces of Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin in China.

The disputed border between China and India exceeds 3,488 kilometers. The CCP called the Arunachal Province in the eastern part of the Himalayas the southern part of Tibet, and released a map in April this year, changing the names of 11 local locations, which sparked strong protests in India at the time. Aksai Chin is a plateau in the western Himalayas that India claims, but most of it is currently controlled by China.

The leaders of China and India just shook hands at the BRICS summit, and the CCP is trying to win over and expand the BRICS. Why is releasing a new map at this time causing controversy?

Tang Jingyuan, a current affairs commentator in the United States: "The basic strategy of the CCP in dealing with India is mainly to win over India economically, while adopting a more containment approach to India politically. The purpose of winning economically is to facilitate the BRICS group to be used by the CCP. to fight against the G7 headed by the United States. But politically, why does it want to contain India and guard against India? It is because India is also an emerging big country, and India is a country with a democratic system, so India is invisibly in the BRICS countries. In the system, it has become a strong competitor to the leading country."

Song Guocheng, a researcher at the International Relations Research Center of Taiwan Chengchi University: "Among the BRICS countries, of course the real strength is India. But now that India has walked with the United States, Xi Jinping's previous so-called subjective wishes are even more impossible. Realized. And now a new map is released, etc., which is equivalent to using this map to expand the territory. Basically, it will never get any support and consent from the surrounding countries, and it will even cause many neighboring countries Joint resistance and sanctions. So this is the most typical practice of the CCP’s mentally retarded diplomacy.”

The new map comes as the G20 summit is about to take place in New Delhi, India.

According to Indian media reports, some lawmakers suggested that the Modi government reconsider the decision to invite Xi Jinping to participate in the G20 summit, and said that China's new map is a provocation to India.

Reuters reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping will skip the G20 summit in New Delhi in September, which will be attended by Premier Li Qiang. The reason for Xi Jinping's absence is unknown.

Song Guocheng: "This question shows that there is actually a very strong anti-China force in India. If you don't attend in person, and then you don't explain the reason, then from the perspective of the Indian government, this is clearly a diplomatic provocation. So Of course, it will further aggravate the isolation of the CCP in the international community, and it is not even just an isolated state, it will even be rejected by the international community. Therefore, this international isolation itself is not a single international in the diplomatic sense. Isolation is the shattering of the entire CCP’s international image.”

Tang Jingyuan: "Xi Jinping just wants to limit India's influence by taking advantage of his absence from the G20 summit. Another reason is that Xi Jinping himself is currently in a state of internal and external difficulties, especially in the recent months he may have encountered a serious challenge from the anti-Xi forces in the party. Under such circumstances, Xi Jinping actually has a great fear of his own personal safety. This is because we have seen that Xi Jinping rarely shows up recently. This is the most fundamental reason not to go abroad unless necessary.”

If Xi Jinping decides not to go to India, it will be his first absence from the G20 summit. Originally, Xi Jinping may meet with US President Biden again at this summit. The decision to de-escalate the conflict came after the two men spoke directly at the G20 summit last year.

Has the wind changed? Two "patriotic Vs" banned for suspected hate speech

风向有变?两“爱国大V”疑因仇日言论被禁言

When the CCP hypes up "Japanese nuclear wastewater", two "patriotic big Vs" who stand for the authorities are suspected of hyping up "sensitive topics such as diplomacy or ethnicity and religion" and are banned from Weibo. Both of them had previously posted blog posts about "Destroying Japan."

On 28 August 2023, the "@微博admin" account published a "Safety Tips of the Week" to report that several Weibo influencers had been banned. It mentioned that "@jun*ji and @马*tan were hyping up sensitive topics such as my country's diplomacy or ethnic and religious issues," and were therefore banned.

The article did not use the word "permanently banned" for these two accounts, indicating that they were only temporarily banned.

The article reminds, "When participating in the discussion of socially sensitive topics, please be cautious in your words and deeds, discuss the facts as they are, and do not engage in inappropriate related hype, or misinterpret my country's economic, diplomatic, ethnic and religious policies, so as to avoid negative and harmful comments." and so on.

(Weibo picture)

Currently, both the Weibo accounts "@军武记" and "@马talk" are banned. The last blog posts of both accounts were published on August 25. On the 25th and 24th, two accounts respectively forwarded a video of Ai Yuejin, a former Marxist-Leninist professor at Nankai University, clamoring to "destroy little Japan."

"@junwuji" is a "patriotic military blogger" who is passionate about war and has about 5 million fans. "@马talk" is also a "patriotic and anti-Japanese" blogger with about 500,000 fans.

(Screenshot of Weibo)

The news that two "patriotic Vs" have been banned has sparked heated discussions on the overseas , did not grasp the scale well” “The dog is not tied properly, it is necessary to tighten the leash” “The owner asked for freedom of movement, but the dog did not understand the command”.

Some netizens said, "They are all a bunch of villains who use the title of patriot to make profits for themselves! The old Communist Party has never looked at them, nor has they believed in them! There will be fewer and fewer such patriotic Vs in the future. "

Previously, it was suspected that a "little pink" received an "iron fist" for being anti-Japanese. A public security "reprimand letter" circulated online showed that on 26 August 2023, a "patriotic netizen" went to the Japanese Embassy in Beijing to protest the "discharge of nuclear wastewater" and was arrested by the police and reprimanded.

A few days ago, there was news on the Internet that the CCP's hype about "Japanese nuclear wastewater" has made it more isolated internationally. It has also severely damaged the domestic catering industry, seafood markets, fisheries, and coastal tourism. Therefore, it has ordered to stop the hype. However, the authenticity of the news is unknown.

Shi Zhengli becomes an academician candidate, and the mystery of the origin of the covid virus is once again focused

石正丽成为院士候选人 新冠起源之谜再被聚焦

While the source of covid virus has not yet been clarified, Shi Zhengli, a researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, recently became a candidate for academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, causing public opinion to question it. Shi Zhengli's research is considered to be related to the covid virus.

On Thursday (31 August 2023), the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering jointly announced the list of "valid candidates for the 2023 academician election". There are a total of 1,238 candidates on this list, and Shi Zhengli's name has been included in the list of effective candidates for academicians of the "Department of Life Science and Medicine" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

According to the official introduction, Shi Zhengli is currently the director of the Emerging Infectious Disease Research Center of Wuhan Institute of Virology, engaged in the etiology research of emerging viruses, and has made some achievements in the etiology, molecular epidemiology and infection mechanism of viruses transmitted by wild animals.

Shi Zhengli has been engaged in the research of coronaviruses carried by bats for a long time, and has published some papers. One of the research papers showed that the sequence of a coronavirus she had studied was more than 96% similar to the sequence of the virus that caused the deadly covid epidemic three years ago.

After the outbreak, the Wuhan Institute of Virology secretly deleted a large amount of research materials, and its series of strange behaviors aroused strong doubts from the outside world. The Wuhan Institute of Virology categorically denied the suspicion that the virus had leaked from the P4 laboratory in Wuhan, but has always refused to conduct an in-depth and comprehensive investigation by the international virology expert group.

With so many doubts about the origin of covid, Shi Zhengli, the most critical suspect, was nominated as a candidate for the academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which puzzled Taiwan medical experts.

According to a report by Radio Free Asia, Chen Xiuxi, a professor at the School of Public Health of National Taiwan University, mentioned in an interview on August 31 that on February 3, 2020, Shi Zhengli’s team had published an article in the internationally authoritative academic journal Nature. The research paper titled "Bats are the possible source of the new coronavirus causing the pneumonia outbreak" has a submission date of January 20, 2020. At that time, the Chinese government had just begun to admit that the covid virus could be transmitted from person to person.

News (8)

Shi Zhengli should have known covid virus between June and October 2019

In this regard, Chen Xiuxi pointed out that to publish a natural science journal, it usually takes three or four months from review to publication, and Shi Zhengli has to prepare relevant article manuscripts, "Push it back, between June and October 2019, (She) should have known in the laboratory that this virus is different from other viruses."

Chen Xiuxi further questioned, since Shi Zhengli had already discovered the new virus, why didn't she notify the World Health Organization to help countries in the early warning?

News (9)

"Very strange" for Shi Zhengli to be an academician candidate

Chen said that all mankind has paid a huge price in this pandemic. Before the controversy over the origin of the virus has been clarified, it is "very strange" for China to let Shi Zhengli, a key figure in the origin of the virus, be selected as an academician candidate.

Taiwanese epidemiologist He Meixiang also questioned, as a scientist, although she did write a lot of research papers, if she knew the truth about the virus leak and concealed it under the orders of the Beijing government, would she be eligible to be an academician?

Zola, a China observer who has now immigrated to Taiwan, said bluntly in an interview that Shi Zhengli can become an academician candidate, "This is not an academic achievement, but a political achievement. It is the recognition given to her by the Chinese government and the Communist Party. Not the recognition given to her by academia."

News (10)

Shi Zhengli trusts and cooperates with the CCP's policy on the covid epidemic

Zola believes that the reason why the CCP authorities gave her a "promotion" is because she cooperated with the CCP's policy on the covid epidemic based on trust".

Zola emphasized that Shi Zhengli knew the work she did from the Yunnan mine to the Wuhan research institute, so she is the "most critical person" in tracing the source of the epidemic. If she does not come out to clarify the facts, she will never be able to get rid of the suspicion of the creator of the new crown virus.

In April 2023, the U.S. House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee on Coronavirus Pandemic sent a letter to the Chinese embassy in the United States, asking the Beijing authorities to stop interfering with the source of the covid virus, and asking five key people to accept face-to-face inquiries and hearings to the committee. Shi Zhengli was one of the five named.

CCP China's new map provokes protests from many countries Analysis: Wolf Warrior diplomacy out of control

Image : The Chinese Communist authorities released a new version of the map for 2023, in which the U-shaped line of the South China Sea was expanded from a "9-dash line" to a "10-dash line", touching many Southeast Asian countries and Taiwan, triggering protests in many countries. (Web image)

中国新版地图惹多国抗议 分析:战狼外交失控

Recently, the Chinese Communist Party authorities released a new version of the map for 2023. The U-shaped line of the South China Sea has been expanded from a "9-dash line" to a "10-dash line", and many Southeast Asian countries and Taiwan have been affected. , triggering protests in many countries. Some analysts believe that the CCP is currently in a decadent economy and urgently needs to improve relations with neighboring countries. However, this map has caused new controversy and the CCP's Wolf Warrior diplomacy is showing signs of getting out of control.

On 28 August 2023, the Chinese Communist authorities released a new version of the map, with the famous U-shaped line extending to 1,500 kilometers south of Hainan Island. The latest map covers a wider geographical area, not only cutting into the exclusive economic zones of Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia, but also including Taiwan.

Although the Chinese Communist authorities claimed that the line was drawn based on its historical maps, the above parties immediately publicly protested, and some cited international maritime law to deny it.

Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Liu Yongjian emphasized that Taiwan is by no means a part of the Chinese Communist Party and protests against the Chinese Communist authorities' distortion of Taiwan's territorial sovereignty of the Republic of China.

Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it "firmly rejects any claim made by China on the South China Sea based on the dotted line" and believes that the Chinese Communist authorities have violated Vietnamese laws and international law.

In addition to refusing to accept the new version of the map, the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs also called on the Chinese Communist authorities to abide by the International Court of Justice's ruling in July 2016 and give up its claim to the "9-dash line".

Malaysia also filed a diplomatic statement of protest, saying that the Chinese Communist Party’s new map was “not binding” on Malaysia.

The Indonesian Foreign Minister expressed his position to the media, emphasizing that "Indonesia's position has always been consistent with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea adopted in 1982." China is also one of the signatories to the convention.

It is also worth mentioning that the CCP’s 2023 new version of the map also involves disputed border areas between China and India. On August 30, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs was the first to lodge a protest against China and did not recognize the CCP’s 2023 “standard map”.

The Chinese Communist Party's wolf-warrior diplomacy is out of control

Regarding the new version of the map, media person Shi Shan analyzed that the countries in Southeast Asia that have protested have the strongest economies and the largest populations, and they dominate the direction of the entire ASEAN group. Malaysia, in particular, is an important country in establishing good relations between the CCP and ASEAN. Now when it is most necessary to show diplomatic skills, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Communist Party of China has to express its attitude in a wolf warrior manner. This performance is very problematic.

Current commentator Yokogawa further analyzed in the "Elite Forum" program, believing that the CCP system is rigid and Xi Jinping's wolf warrior diplomacy has reached a desperate situation. He believes that Xi Jinping basically controls everything in terms of power, and his CCP officials at all levels have no room for professional adjustments. Everyone is scrambling to express tougher and tougher stances, to the point of going too far.

He believes that although Xi Jinping wants to have good relations with these countries, he keeps issuing new tough instructions and there is no room for retreat. Therefore, he must not only have good relations with these countries, but also adhere to the principle of offensiveness. He must ask others to back down. Under such circumstances, apart from Wolf Warrior diplomacy, the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs actually has no other choice.

Guo Jun, editor-in-chief of The Epoch Times, believes that there are two main reasons why the Chinese Communist Party’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs cannot engage in dialogue in a soft manner. The first reason is that the highest decision-making lacks flexibility, so it can only be tough, and it can only be wolf-warrior diplomacy; the second reason is that the CCP really believes that it has a strong and uncompromising power.

Guo Jun analyzed that the biggest problem of an autocratic system is that its leader cannot be questioned. Over time, he will definitely deviate. And this kind of deviation will definitely be reflected in all aspects and will appear in every field. We are actually witnessing this.
