A small-scale explosion took place at around 11.20 am on 25 October 2021 in Changi. It was visible from the aviation gallery of Changi Airport Terminal 1 but it is mysterious.

The pictures show that the explosion appeared to occur in Changi Village, near Changi Airport. The incident lasted for 30 minutes and sudden rain from God put off the heavy smoke 15 minutes after heavy smoke appeared in the air. It was not known if anyone was injured.

Before the explosion, there was no thunder and no lightning. Hence, the natural cause is ruled out.

Flights departing from Changi Airport during that time were delayed for 15 minutes.

Netizen Zailan later commented the smoke is part of Changi Airport's Airport Emergency Services training. There was "NO EXPLOSION" in Changi, he said.

2.3 million covi vaccines of Medigen have not arrived. If Taiwan cannot use up Medigen, "change to foreign aid?" Chen Shizhong: Multi-national contact

Editor : Zhang Shizhe / Image : Video Screenshot

Due to the recent stable supply of Taiwan covi vaccines and the continued arrival of major international vaccines, Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shizhong revealed on 25 October 2021 that there are still 2.3 million Medigen vaccines that have not yet arrived, and they are likely to be used in the future but if no, he was questioned if it is possible for Medigen to become a foreign aid friend.

Chen Shizhong said that many countries are in contact with Medigen but it is not convenient to disclose which ones. He said that the Medigen vaccines arriving in the future are likely to be unusable in Taiwan.

At the end of May 2021, the Ministry of Health and Welfare signed a contract to purchase 5 million doses of the covi vaccine with Medigen and UBI Asia. Depending on the needs of the epidemic, each additional 5 million doses were purchased. Since UB-612 has not passed the EUA review, it is made domestically. Only Medigen covi vaccines MVC-CoV1901 have been continuously supplied and administered.

As of 24 October 2021, 752,654 people had received the first dose, and 614,535 people had completed two injections.

Legislator Hong Mengkai questioned the Social Welfare and Sanitation Environment Committee of the Legislative Yuan. He said that there are still 2.3 million doses of MVC-CoV1901 that have not yet arrived. At present, the epidemic is well controlled and vaccination is slowing down. For the first and second doses of the Medigen vaccine on 22 October, only more than 1,000 people were vaccinated. He asked the Minister of Health and Fu Chen Shizhong whether the undelivered Medigen vaccine would be used in other countries?

Hong Mengkai asked whether the remaining domestic vaccines will be "advanced deployment", and have the Medigen product passed the EUA of other countries? Will it be given away but not sent out? Chen Shizhong revealed that Medigen is working hard to review the Paraguay EUA. As for whether he will assist the friendly countries with MVC-CoV1901, he said that many countries are currently in contact, but it is not convenient to disclose. Chen Shizhong further stated that "this is not a secret for us, but to them this must be kept confidential."

DPP: Zhu Lilun’s "Four Nos" made the Republic of China disappear

In response to Kuomintang Chairman Zhu Lilun’s criticism of President Tsai Ing-wen’s speech on the National Day, DPP spokesman Zhou Jiangjie said that Zhu Lilun’s proposal of "four defenses" for the Republic of China, in fact, there are "four nos", including giving China’s reply was “there is no Republic of China”; the Kuomintang “has no objection” to Xi Jinping's statement of peaceful reunification; common planes continue to break into our air defense identification zone, and the chairman of the Kuomintang’s Huang Fuxing Party Department said “it’s not a nuisance to Taiwan”; international events and competitions, when confronted with China's suppression, there was "no solidarity," but it was not for accusing the oppressed.

Zhou Jiangjie stated that President Tsai Ing-wen's "four persistences" are in line with the current mainstream public opinion in Taiwan. I advise Chairman Zhu Lilun not to disregard the reality and misinterpret President Tsai's remarks. If the Kuomintang really wants to defend the Republic of China, please take the stand of the Taiwanese first, condemn the CCP’s various cultural attacks and military intimidation, and support the defense budget.

Zhou Jiangjie went on to say that at elections or certain festivals, Taiwanese would see the Kuomintang say defending the Republic of China and holding the flag of the Republic of China, but as long as they encounter China, the Kuomintang will automatically make the Republic of China invisible. The behavior of the "Republic of China" as disposable chopsticks and election totems is not uncommon.

Zhou Jiangjie stated that the "four perseverances" in President Tsai’s National Day speech fully demonstrated his firm attitude in defending national sovereignty, democracy and freedom, and conformed to the current mainstream public opinion and status quo in Taiwan. On the contrary, the Kuomintang has repeatedly echoed the CCP’s cross-strait views and belittled it. Taiwan’s national sovereignty is a serious violation of the spirit of the constitutional sovereignty of the Republic of China.

Zhou Jiangjie called on Zhu Lilun to bravely declare to the CCP that the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China are not affiliated with each other and should not use force to invade Taiwan.
